Wedding Timeline

We had a wonderful day and Timeless provided us with wonderful memories to hold onto. Even though we are really not photogenic, the photographers were so fun, genuine and easy to talk to that it all felt very natural and fun.
The photographer was even so kind as to let us take very memorable photos on his personal motorcycle!
It was also well planned so that we got to meet our photographer for the engagement shoot and had the same photographer for the day of the wedding (it was great practice!).
We also really appreciate and couldn't believe how quickly they sent us the engagement photo shoot pictures already edited as we were pressed for time. In addition, 3 days after the wedding they already sent us hundreds of teasers that were great for writing reviews and sending to friends. They were flexible, even when we made changes to the plan the day of the wedding and had no problem travelling between Toronto and Barrie for our wedding.
We would definitely recommend Timeless and want to say a big thank you again for their help in making it such an amazing day!

From the first time meeting Katherine, I felt very comfortable with her and calm regards to planning my wedding. As someone who gets overwhelmed easily, she made sure I was satisfied and happy with the planning and the chapel itself. She always followed up with me and my husband to see if everything’s okay prior to our wedding date, if we had any questions or concerns she was able to assist us.

Our wedding was amazing, from the ceremony, the decorations at the chapel, food, staff and reception. Till this day my wedding guests are saying wow it was such a lovely wedding, they loved how Katherine was welcoming towards everyone and she made sure everything was okay. The wedding photos and video looked amazing as well.

From what I have heard and experienced from other weddings, I cannot believe that in my wedding at the Toronto Wedding Chapel I did not have to worry absolutely nothing, about anything!! I was in shock because usually the bride is stress (I am perfectionist), but no, it was only happiness. I am a recent bride and just got married this year in September 2021. I just want to say that Nancy had the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. She made our wedding day beautiful and elegant. She was very easy to talk to and as an experienced wedding coordinator, she gave me some very helpful advice on wedding timelines/schedules.

We had ordered bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, centrepieces, large arrangements, decor and dufflet cake (which was delicious). My guests and family couldn't stop gushing about the centrepieces and flowers

Michael Bethke officiated our wedding back in October 2023 and one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning was to have him as our officiant.

During our first meeting, it was very easy to communicate with him. He was so patient with all our questions and answers them clearly. Planning the ceremony alongside him was a breeze as already has the tools/template where we can easily get ideas on how we want our ceremony to be. My fiance (now husband) and I want a short but very meaningful ceremony and that's what he delivered.

Even after the wedding, he will send you reminders for legal documents which i found to be really helpful.

Rosie is genuinely the loveliest, and she’s an incredibly talented artist. I had my wedding flowers framed and they were so beautiful, and then heartbreaking - the nail we’d hung the frame from fell out of the wall and the frame crashed to the ground. Rosie got me in immediately to repair and entirely remake the frame - which I love even more now! We also ordered some floral ornaments with our wedding flowers as gifts for our family, and they loved them (my grandma cried).

Rosie did an amazing job preserving my wedding bouquet. I am so happy with the final result and the whole process was smooth from the initial booking to final pick-up. Definitely recommend Bouquet & Frame for floral preservation!

Best decision ever!! I absolutely love my pressed bouquet frame, it turned out so wonderful, and I love how vibrant the blues and purples stayed even when dried! Rosie is so amazing, talented and was very accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. I wanted to make sure the blue orchids in my bouquet were at the front since those are special flowers to my husband and I, and she took that and any other notes into consideration when making it. Also she texts you a mock up after it’s made, to get your thoughts on if you want anything changed or not! Highly recommend!

Muriel was the kindest and most patient florist I had met. Immediately I knew I wanted her to make my dream wedding come true. Throughout the whole planning process, no matter how many times I changed my mind, Muriel was patient and gave good advice and was just such a joy to be able to work with. She was amazing and when the day finally came, she made my dream wedding come true with the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. I will never get over how beautiful our wedding turned out! We had a huge storm coming around the time of the ceremony and Janice and staff were so helpful in helping us beat it so we could have the ceremony outside. The food and drinks were the best I had ever had at a wedding (I've been dreaming of the mushroom bisque) and we had gotten so many compliments on it throughout the night. Staff was so accommodating and incredible in navigating our huge families and communication through the planning process was spectacular! We would have our wedding here again in a heartbeat. We had our wedding at Evermore Weddings & Events, and it was truly perfect from start to finish. The venue is absolutely breathtaking, inside and out. The gardens and outdoor spaces are meticulously maintained and were in full bloom on our day, creating the most romantic and natural backdrop for our ceremony and photos. The flowers, the stone pathways, and views all felt like something out of a dream.

The food was incredible. It was fresh, beautifully prepared, and served flawlessly. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it! And the service was exceptional: attentive, professional, and kind.

I first started working with Shadia at the very beginning of the pandemic and right after our first meeting, I knew I wanted to work with no one else but her. I’ve never seen someone so knowledgeable, thorough, kind, funny, solution-oriented and oh so, so, patient.

Even if Shadia was working behind the scenes, the amazing execution of the day didn’t go unnoticed from my guests. People asked me and my parents “Omg, who’s that incredible woman over there? Did Sandy hire a planner?”

Every single request, even the ones I forgot I had made, were fulfilled. For example, I had told her to make sure one of my guests had enough space to accommodate a special chair, and that guest was so touched and surprised when she came to him! It’s the little things like that that makes your day magical even for your guests. Those who were sceptical about the necessity of having a planner were the first ones to write down her name for when their daughters would get married lol!

I got married end of August 2021 and I already miss working with Shadia. She was the shoulder I could lean on and the person I could vent to whenever something would come up.

One of the things we appreciated most was how they had options for every aspect of the wedding to fit different budgets and priorities, while still making everything feel high-quality and seamless. The decor and florals exceeded all expectations (even though we barely gave any direction!), and they assembled an amazing team of vendors. The food and cake was incredible (we had a variety of different food restrictions and Melanie was great in making sure everyone had a delicious dinner!), the espresso martinis and drinks were a huge hit, and the DJ kept the dancefloor packed all night. Working with Prito, our photographer, was effortless—his vision and direction made everything feel natural—and Roland, our officiant, made the ceremony heartfelt and inclusive with his Cantonese translations, making it even more meaningful for our families. The photobooth was such a hit and kept the energy going all night—our guests had so much fun taking photos, and we loved seeing everyone get creative with the props! We had our wedding at TCE in February with around 6 months of planning. It was truly the best day of our lives. We put our trust in Tiffany and Melanie and they did not disappoint. We had several zoom meetings over the months leading up to the day to iron out most of the details. It was not as clear to me from the website but after our first meeting, we realized that they were super flexible on everything and we could customize our perfect day down to any detail. We had input on decor but left most of it go to Tiffany (by our choice) and she completely exceeded our expectation. Melanie coordinated perfectly on the day of, keeping us all on schedule and updating us on the flow of the day and handling any hiccups so we didn’t have to deal with anything. They were able to source amazing food and we got our favourite pastries in as well. All the staff at the venue were amazing and kind, really having fun and genuinely friendly - not just slogging away. It was the perfect day and I would recommend this company to anyone in a heartbeat. They made the intimidating and daunting task of planning a wedding easy and a million times less stressful.

Carlos and his team have done a wonderful job at our wedding. We had a mix of a traditional American and Ukrainian weddings, and both him and Liz have gone way beyond what was expected of them. They arrived earlier to the wedding venue and started filming even before we and the guests got there. They even drove us to the outdoor venue where we had our pictures taken after the ceremony so that we would not have to drive ourselves. Great dedication and motivation from them. When the photobooth's time was up, they still ran it for the entire night (at different times) just for our convenience, which was extremely useful since we had people come to the booth by waves and not everybody together.

Overall, great experience, would definitely work with them again and recommend everybody to work with them. Great desire to please the customer all while doing a fantastic job.

If you are getting married in the Ottawa or surrounding areas - you will not find a better planner & florist than Lauren Sinclair. Lauren worked with my husband and I for ten months leading up to our wedding and I can confidently say that her incredible work made the single largest impact on our day. Lauren expertly handled the wedding logistics leading up to and on the day of, taking away all of the pressure and stress from us. We were able to completely relax and enjoy our wedding because of the trust she built with us. Lauren also provided excellence guidance whenever we had questions or concerns with other vendors. She flawlessly executed our vision when it came to the look, feel and flow of our day. I constantly found myself saying "I can't believe how amazing everything looks, it's better than what I had showed her on Pinterest!". The cherry on top is that Lauren is amazing to work with. She is a true joy to be around and brings light and positivity with her. I'm incredibly grateful to Lauren and her assistant, Emma for making our wedding day the most incredible day of our lives.

Hands down this was the best decision we made for our wedding. Lauren, Emma, and Kass made our day so special. They were all so kind and thorough and they all had such great eye for detail and design. We received so many comments on how seamlessly the day was executed and I couldn't agree more, there was no point where I felt stressed or as if something wasn't going to plan. From directing family photos and group shots, to setting up decor and tearing it all down at the end of the night, they did everything so well.

For my wedding, Erin Carmichael (co-owner and florist) provided us with boutonnières that died after 1 hour so we couldn't even take pictures with them. It's very disappointing since she charged us $20 for each boutonnière. When we complained, Stacey (co-owner) said: "flowers are living things and they die". When we emailed Erin some time later, she said: "I am happy to refund you" and "I will send the refund later today". But after that she ignored us and never refunded us, despite multiple reminders. Bad service.

The bouquets also died after a couple hours and looked too sad for pictures. When you pay so much for flowers ($125-200 per bouquet), you want to be able to take pictures with them but our photographers said they looked too tired. And it wasn't even hot that day.

Another issue we had with the florist is the backdrop behind our sweetheart table. We asked for 2 cherry blossom trees and a chandelier. She charged us $850 and the result was completely different than what we discussed. $850 for a few fake branches attached to a copper pipe, and a crooked chandelier which wasn't even on. Again, very disappointing. When we complained about it, she said: "I am very confused as to why you were unhappy with your head table backdrop" and then: "I stand behind what we provided".

Floral design is way overpriced and the flowers don't last. When you complain, they get defensive and blame it on you. Their creative freedom is more important than what the bride and groom ask.

Bouquet design and the centrepieces were nice.

This hotel hyped this venue up way too much for my liking. My Aunt decided to throw her 55th birthday party at venue twenty two this past weekend and it turned out disastrous! The dinner before the actual party which was at The Shore Club restaurant was awful, everyone who ordered the steak dinner ended up with what I’m assuming to be food poisoning because they all had to run to the washroom multiple times throughout the night. There were also finger foods that were prepared for the party that the staff put out way too early after the dinner(this was an invite only party so the guest that were at the dinner were the same guest to attend the party) and it ended up going to waste for the most part because it was only 15-20 mins after everyone went upstairs that the food went out. To top it off the staff ended up packing up all of the food because then they decided it was “left out too long” which is understandable, but the point being was that the food should have not been brought out until later that evening that way everyone could have enjoyed it. The staff also treated the attending DJ horribly as they kept telling him to turn the music down in a room which advertised to be “soundproof”. We didn’t want the music blasting, but loud enough for us to be able to enjoy it in a room that size. We weren’t able to hear it because they continuously interrupted the DJ telling him to turn it down Needless to say the money that was spent on this party went to waste and I do not recommend renting this venue after the way we were treated. Do better Westin, this was very disappointing.

We recently hosted our wedding at Venue Twenty Two. We can’t express enough how perfectly the service was orchestrated by the Westin. The food was delicious and served in a timely manner! The venue is beyond beautiful. The floor to ceiling windows offered amazing views of downtown Ottawa and the sunset was breathtaking from up there! Our coordinator was Kayla Camus leading up to the event and Mariam on the day of. They were both so professional, organized and answered my many many questions promptly! Thank you both so much! Wonderful venue, recently attended a cocktail reception in this space, located on the 22nd floor of the Westin Ottawa. There are wrap around windows with expansive views of the city, highlighted by the Parliament Buildings and the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. The bartenders and service staff were friendly and efficient with serving guests and I noticed that they were extra diligent in keeping the room tidy throughout the event. This is an excellent choice for business and personal functions!

Really cool venue with a great view of downtown Ottawa. We had our work Christmas party there (apps and drinks) food and service was great. The 270° view of ottawa was breathtaking.

Words cannot describe how grateful we are for Michael and Nancy. They brought our entire wedding vision to life in a way that was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Every detail; the florals, the stationery, the chairs, the table settings, was absolutely stunning.

As a local Wedding Planner, I have worked with Wedecor since 2011 and have always had my couples extremely happy with their design and decor. So much so that it is very common to have tears of joy when we do a room reveal with them before opening the doors to guests. Nancy's ability to design a gorgeous wedding is unbelievable, making suggestions that align with our couples vision but also adding in ideas they never had thought of. Their inventory is also the largest in the city with new additions coming in for every wedding season so it just grows and grows! They are also the preferred decorator and florist at many venues which can help with things like earlier access for set ups. Highly recommend!

There is truly no venue in Toronto like Fantasy Farm. Nestled across from Todmorden Mills, this fairytale-like banquet hall is surrounded by lush forest and natural beauty — it felt like we were getting married in the heart of the Canadian North, yet we were conveniently minutes from the Danforth with plenty of parking for guests.

From the very beginning, the staff made our planning process feel easy and stress-free. Gus and Marc guided us with their deep experience and approachable, down-to-earth nature, helping us visualize our day and make thoughtful decisions. The food tasting was not only helpful but really helped us “feel” the wedding coming together — and the food itself was amazing.

On the day of, Jeremy was calm, warm, and completely on top of every detail. He helped lead our families through the ceremony and reception with grace and understanding, allowing us to truly relax and be present. The team was incredibly accommodating during setup, and the rollout of the food and events throughout the evening was absolutely seamless.

Our day couldn’t have been more perfect. The natural, homey atmosphere suited our artistic vibe beautifully. Many guests commented that it felt like a getaway to a cottage — but better. I recently shot a wedding at Fantasy Farm and absolutely loved it. The greenery, rustic charm, and quiet location make it perfect for romantic, natural photos. The indoor space has great lighting and a warm vibe. Highly recommend for couples looking for a peaceful venue right in Toronto!

We had our wedding at Fantasy Farm 2 days ago. Everything was simply amazing. Everyone who attended was very happy with the service, the food, and how good the staff was about being timely but never getting in the way! Gus and Jeremy were extremely helpful throughout the process and they are very transparent. After being in many venues and talking to the service industry people for so long, we truly appreciated a fresh proper human interaction with them. They are very accommodating and helped us pretty much with anything we needed. Hopefully I don't have to ever get married again, but if I would I would do it there any day.

My husband and I were married at Fantasy Farm back on October 14th... of 2022. Haha, I feel awful for not doing a review earlier, but hey! We're finally getting around to it.

The phrase "Hidden Gem" perfectly describes Fantasy Farm. In the middle of Toronto this is a beautiful lush event space that is extremely well run. We had our wedding here in the larger room and had an amazing experience. Firstly the garden ceremony was gorgeous with the flowers all in bloom and the greenery all around. The ballroom was also beautiful. Gus worked with us to set up our details and Jeremy and Mark executed everything on the day of. The way everyone at FF worked with us before and during the wedding was professional and really help us feel at ease. From the ceremony to the BBQ dinner, everything ran on time and the whole staff worked hard to make sure all the guests were comfortable. Many of my friends and family have dietary restrictions and allergies and this was one of the only event venues I have ever been to where they took such personal care for all of them, making sure not only the menu was set up to accommodate them, but also on the day of they went around to each person to make sure they had the right meal and to answer any questions they had. Days after we kept having friends and family rave about how beautiful the whole evening was.
