Emilia was absolutely incredible from day one of our wedding planning process. She was prompt, helpful, organized, and supportive, and went above and beyond her role as a photographer. Emilia is an absolute photography wizard! As out-of-towners planning our destination wedding in Banff, we were clueless about how we wanted our photos to turn out. Emilia guided us with incredible expertise and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that our photos perfectly matched the theme of our ceremony. She also gave us a bunch of stunning locations to choose from for our wedding day and day after photos, an extra option she provides that we highly recommend!

What really impressed us was how comfortable Emilia made us feel being in front of the camera. Emilia has such a calm and warm demeanor that she quickly put us at ease and made it a fun and glamorous experience… with the energy she brought to the shoot, we felt like we were posing for GQ magazine! It was lively, energetic, and an absolute blast to spend time with her as she guided us into fantastic poses and let us cut loose so that our personalities shone through.

We did share a few ideas with Emilia, and she took the ball and ran with it, doing some research on her end to fully realize our vision. For reference, we were trying to achieve a sort of 1920s Speakeasy/Gatsby theme, and we feel that she absolutely nailed that vibe through and through. She saw the vision we were hoping to capture and brought it to life with great ease, and in ways that we could not have imagined. She made the most important day of our lives even more special by enhancing it beyond our hopes and dreams.

Emilia was incredibly caring and invested in capturing the special moments throughout our wedding day, but she also made sure that we were comfortable being ourselves. Before the day of the shoot, she spent a lot of time consulting with us to strategize all aspects of the photos. Everything from locations, down to the pairings with family and friend photos during and after the ceremony so that our time was being used efficiently on what is typically a super stressful day! She was patient with our indecisiveness and made us feel so at ease with the whole process! We highly recommend Emilia whether it be for wedding photos, engagement photos, or if you just want to get some wonderful family photos!

Our wedding video was just like our day, super relaxed and full of nature. It was all about good times in the great outdoors in a beautiful venue on Montreal's South Shore. Manzoni Films kept it real simple, capturing the nature vibes and our laid-back style perfectly. Watching the video feels like reliving it all over again, with the sun shining, a cool breeze, and just hanging with our closest folks, my best friends and just people we love in general. They accompanied us from start to finish, suggesting the best package, finding the right shots, listening to our vision and just making a damn good video out of it! I recommend them for sure!

Our wedding video was so cool – it’s like two weddings in one! Manzoni Films came with us to both Cambodia and Montreal, which was awesome. They made everything easy and fun. The Cambodia part is all colorful and traditional, really showing off my family's side of things. Then, the Montreal part feels totally different – more like an Italian party with lots of food and everyone dancing. We chose the feature film bundle since we knew this was gonna be once in a lifetime and I wanted to cry (of joy of course) everytime I saw our film. They were a huge team with crazy lights, they got some interviews, they didn't miss a single moment and they took care of everything from the mics to the pictures (photographer was awesome!). I'd recommend Manzoni to anyone who wants to make their wedding like a movie so their friends can enjoy, cry and laugh together with them as you watch it together! Mission success Manzoni!

Our wonderful wedding in Rougemont!

Our video was amazing! They were with us all day in Rougemont, being responsive and allowed me to focus on the wedding rather than the planning. Manzoni Films really captured the essence of what we wanted: nothing too fancy, just a warm, genuine celebration with our closest loved ones. Thank god they were to handle all the technical stuff too, everything worked perfectly and the booths they put up for us were so fun! We took the TV package which really felt like we had our own little show! They even had a telephone setup with a camera on it to capture peoples comments and they included it in the final video! They had so many great ideas like this and they were so professional.

When Adam and I watched our wedding video from Manzoni Films, we were blown away. It was like reliving the day all over again, but even better. They caught all those little moments that made our day so special – our laughter, tears, and all the love around us. It felt personal, like they really got us and what our day was about. Naty did an amazing job taking some family portraits for us at Lake Louise. From the first time that I reached out to her she was so kind and helpful, and gave lots of great advice before our session too!

On the day of the shoot my family and I had so much fun with her and she knew all the good spots around the lake to get the best views with the least amount of people in the background. She was so wonderful with my toddler too! I absolutely love my photos and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer around Banff!

My family of four traveled to Banff from Texas for Spring Break this year and had the pleasure of meeting Naty and having her take some amazing family photos on Lake Louise.

We met Mitch at a wedding show a while back and had a meeting to discuss our plans. We had gorgeous engagement photos completed with Steve and then for the wedding we had Steve and Rick. The photos are great! Steve is a wizard and so so easy to work with.

The only sad thing is we had one large photo taken of our group of friends that never all get together and it was somehow lost but everything else was so amazing. Thank you so much!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Mitch's fantastic team shoot our wedding day, and would highly recommend him and his team to anyone!

Upon meeting Mitch at a wedding venue open house, we appreciated his kindness and knowledge, as photography is not something my spouse or I are familiar with. We knew after that conversation we would love to work with him and his team.

We had the greatest of experiences with both photographers on the day of our wedding (Jasmin and Rick), who captured so many beautiful moments and memories from our day. Jasmin also always took the time to answer the many questions via email or phone calls from the bride (me) before hand, which helped takr a lot of stress off my shoulders for the day of. Additionally, we would like to also sincerely thank Mitch and his team for accommodating our very unique situation. We had to cancel our original wedding date due to my husband and myself getting COVID. With all the stress of last minute cancellations, Mitch and his team were beyond understanding and told us to let them know what date later down the line they could rebook us for. We understand that many people wouldn't have been so understanding, or charged us extra, but Mitch didn't.

Michael was incredible! From the moment we met Michael, he made us feel comfortable which made the whole experience easy. We felt relaxed which meant that our natural personalities were captured to a tea. We were exceedingly happy that we engaged the services of Michael at Mountain Wedding Videos to capture all of the moments of our special day. Right from the start, we were impressed with Michael's professionalism and commitment, and the final videos we received were just so amazing.

We had an initial meeting with Michael when we engaged his services, where he asked what we were wanting our videos to capture, any specific requests, etc, and he explained his general style of video and how he generally operates. We were comfortable with him right from the start, and he was very good with communication leading up to the wedding.

Michael arrived promptly and full of energy on the day, and it was great fun having the camera there to capture moments from getting ready, to the ceremony, then capturing on video the process of having wedding photos done, and on to the reception, speeches, and fun and games afterwards. We feel that Michael literally captured all of the special moments of the day, and the final product had us feeling like we got to re-live the day again and again (as well as laugh at some of the moments that we didn't actually remember with the whirlwind of emotions and experiences all happening on the day).

Our final package included a 2-minute sneak peek summary of the day (which we received within 3 days of the event), a 15 minute video capturing the entire day, a full video of the wedding ceremony itself, then a 1 hour video of all of the reception speeches and some games that were played with everyone at the reception.

We are so incredibly happy with the work that Michael did for us, and we will be recommending Mountain Wedding Videos to anyone we know who is organizing a wedding. Our wedding day went by so quickly that we are happy that our memories are now preserved forever.

Photography

While it is true that photos were provided, the claim that I was fully satisfied is simply not accurate. My feedback was not a blanket approval, nor did I decline editing because the images were “beautiful as-is.” I expected the editing stage to enhance the photos as initially discussed, and the suggestion that I waived this entirely misrepresents my expectations and experience.

Videography

The videos I received fell far short of what any reasonable couple would expect for a wedding. The “short-form” video may have been confirmed in the moment, but that was under pressure and not a genuine reflection of satisfaction. You kept us in your apartment for 12 hours. The long-form video, presented as a simple chronological compilation, was disappointing and lacked the artistry or emotional impact couples seek in wedding videography. While the contract may have used clinical terms, the delivery did not align with the spirit of what was promised or what we believed we were paying for.

Contractual Fulfillment

Hiding behind contractual language while ignoring the spirit of service is deeply troubling. A wedding is not just a transaction—it is an irreplaceable life event. I do not believe my concerns were heard or addressed in good faith, and I do not agree that obligations were fulfilled in any meaningful sense.

My Review

I stand firmly by my review. It is not misleading; it reflects my honest experience as a paying client. Reviews exist precisely so future couples can see beyond polished contracts and understand how real clients felt about the work they received.

A Warning to Future Couples

To any couple considering this vendor: please look very closely at the contract and ask yourself if the bare minimum described on paper matches what you truly want for your wedding memories. If you expect creativity, care, and flexibility, I urge caution. My experience has left me disappointed and regretful, and I would not wish that on others planning such an important day.

This is not written lightly, but with the hope that others can make fully informed decisions.

We booked Micha to do our engagement photo shoot. This was our first photo shoot so we were a bit nervous going into it. But he made us feel super comfortable and we were shocked to see how good the photos turned out to be on the spot. He didn’t make us feel rushed and if anything we went over time which was great. He had all our photos ready very fast and edited the ones we liked the next day. The pricing and photos are fantastic. Look forward to book him again in the future for the next photoshoot

I had an amazing experience getting my headshots done for the very first time. I was super nervous as I do not like getting pictures taken but Misha made the experience fun and easy. I loved how easy the online booking was and the affordable packages. He’s now gonna be my go to guy for any pictures!

George was incredible to work with. He was very easy to work with and was happy to take a call anytime. From the very beginning we talked with him about the vision and he made it come to life. He made us feel SO comfortable when taking the photos and we trusted his judgement while he also listened to what we wanted. He gave us our photos about a month after our wedding and the videos about a week after that. They turned out spectacular and we are in such awe as he captured every part of the day. Stephanie made our wedding a dream come true! I had always envisioned a fairy tale wedding, and when we came across Stephanie's style, we saw how it absolutely captured that essence. Her dedication and personal attention made us feel like the most special people in the world- the way she built a friendly rapport with us right from our engagement photo session that continued on through all the planning and then throughout the entire wedding day itself just speaks volumes to her incredible professionalism and expertise. We loved how she made us feel comfortable, kept us on schedule, gave us posing advice, and found the best photo locations and the best lighting for our photos! Stephanie was super responsive and even gave us a sneak peek of our photos the very next day, and they were breathtaking. I absolutely recommend her for anyone wanting to capture their perfect day!

My husband and I used Stephanie Beach Photography for our wedding in Ottawa and she and her husband Dave were so wonderful to work with. Leading up to the wedding day Stephanie was super responsive on email, and very flexible as the plans for our wedding day came together. Because we were planning our wedding from afar (we don't live in Ottawa) we had a phone consultation to share our wedding photography 'hopes and dreams' (and also met in person when we arrived in town), and Stephanie and Dave did a fantastic job of delivering on all of those things for us. On the day of the wedding they were both prompt, professional, unobtrusive - and fun and awesome people! It was like hanging out with a couple of friends. :) We just received our photos and they're stunning. There were so many different crazy lighting situations throughout the day, and so many things to capture - and the photos really do tell the story of the day beautifully. There was never any question that we wanted to have Steph and Dave capture our day - we are long time friends and their photos are always wonderful.

With a very complex, DIY-style wedding, having an expert around meant access to great advice (a service I know that Steph extends to all her couples, offering schedule suggestions, vendor recommendations, etc.). During our wedding day she was a calm and happy presence for us, but also a fun and organized person for our guests during large family photo shoots. This couple is a perfect addition to your wedding - our photos were so enjoyable to shoot, I wish the rest of the event had been so stress-free.

My final point of recommendation for Stephanie Beach Photography is how great Steph has been following the wedding. We got to see a sneak peek of a couple of photos just a few days afterwards, this reassured us that our unconventional event was able to be captured as beautifully as a traditional ceremony. The full set of photos arrived in a timely manner and we choose to order some products to give as Christmas gifts. Not only was the timeline fine from a September wedding to have orders ready for December but the albums we had made are gorgeous, everyone raved about them - a great gift.

10 years ago (already!) Dany did our engagement photoshoot and his team did our wedding photos and videos. Everything turned out beautiful! A couple days ago, we asked Dany to do a family photoshoot at the same location. The pictures turned out amazing! Dany is very talented and attentive. Working with Dany and Tony for our wedding was a pleasure. Dany was always very responsive and able to answer all our questions. Tony (our photographer) was so funny and made us feel at ease. If you are on the fence about getting a video, get the video! Marcello (the videographer) was amazing and having the footage of us and our family and friends enjoying our wedding day is something we can enjoy for many years to come. Working with Pacifica Productions has been one of the highlights of planning our wedding! We had the pleasure of doing our engagement and wedding photos with them. They are extremely talented, fun, charismatic and make you feel comfortable when taking pictures. They really personalize every experience to the couples’ personalities. Our wedding day happened to be during the big storm we recently had which can easily be a stressful situation, however they still pulled it off and we were still able to get the pictures we wanted done!
