Hani always does an awesome job. I’ve been going to him for about six years now, and he’s never missed. Super experienced, and his attention to detail is next level. I’m really glad to see him open up his own shop—it’s well deserved. If you’re looking for a fresh cut from someone who knows what they’re doing, definitely check him out!

I've been coming to this barbershop since it opened and I have not looked back since. I've been to barbershops that charged more but did not provide the same level of service that Hani, David, and Khalid do. These guys are truly skilled, and knowledgeable enough to let you know what type of haircut works best with your features. They take the time to attend to you with care and professionalism. I think it is safe to say that I will not be going to any other barbershop any time soon. For the price and the excellent quality, HK Barbershop cannot be beaten. Their experience, their commitment, and their attention to detail is simply unparalleled.

This place is absolutely amazing the barbers are so friendly and professional super clean nice music fit for family with kids. I called ahead to confirm if my son could get a haircut and was told they would be able to take him in. When we arrived, we waited about 20 minutes before the owner came over and asked if we had an appointment. We explained that we had called beforehand and were told it was fine, but instead of accommodating us, the owner informed us he had another appointment and could not take us. After waiting, we ended up leaving without service. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience and we won’t be returning.

Hani and the team are amazing, I have been coming to HK for about 5 months now and have never left unsatisfied, every service is done with precision and care whilst your requests are fulfilled. They’re also incredibly kind and respectful. The culture of this shop makes it incredibly hard to leave after a couple visits!

Absolutely Exceptional Stay!

From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning view. Every detail from the luxurious linens to the complimentary amenities reflected the hotel's high standards.

The location was ideal, close to everything I needed, yet quiet enough for a restful night's sleep. I also have to highlight the breakfast: fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options for all tastes.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional service!

Remy Should NOT Be in Customer Service
We had one of the worst experiences we’ve ever faced with a front desk employee named Remy. Our group—six adults and fifteen kids—arrived at the hotel around 11 PM, tired and simply looking for a place to stay. Instead of being treated with respect, we were met with rudeness, aggression, and racism.
Remy started yelling at us out of nowhere. None of us were rude. No one raised their voice. No one swore. We were calm and respectful, just trying to ask questions—but he mocked us, acted irritated, and treated us like we didn’t matter.
He wasn’t even wearing a name tag, and when we asked for his name, he refused to give it. At that point, we genuinely weren’t even sure if he worked there—how were we supposed to know? He had no ID, no visible badge, and gave us no reason to trust him.
He then kicked us out for no reason, leaving our group—including exhausted children—stranded late at night. It wasn’t until we started recording him that he suddenly tried to act polite, but the damage was already done.
Remy has no manners, no compassion, and no place in customer service. If this is how he treats guests, he should not be working in hospitality—period.

PS: For anyone wondering how we got his name—we had to contact hotel management ourselves because he refused to identify himself at the time.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were warm and welcoming, greeting me right away and ensuring a smooth check-in. My room was spotless, comfortable, and inviting and a nice way to end the day after travelling. The breakfast was a pleasant way to start the day, with a nice variety to choose from. Overall, a great experience that I would happily come again.

We stayed at this location only for one night. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the appearance of the hotel was pleasant.

My main reason for writing this review, however, is to offer kudos for the staff members we have worked with. We were picked up by the shuttle driver, Sultan, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, pointing out not only the amenities of the hotel, but also offering suggestions for dinner nearby. His cheerful attitude started us off on the right foot.

Next, we were greeted by Agna at the front desk. Again, like Sultan, she was very friendly and helpful, making sure that our stay would be a good one.

The staff at hospitality locations can make all the difference. It would appear that the management of this particular Holiday Inn and Suites has empowered their staff to do whatever is necessary to make guests feel like, well, guests. Excellent work, Holiday Inn and Suites Calgary Airport.

Absolutely unacceptable experience.

We arrived after a long drive with 15 kids and 6 adults, hoping for a smooth and welcoming check-in — instead, we were met with ignorance, rudeness, and what felt like clear racial discrimination.

We asked if we could be on the same floor as the rest of our group and were immediately treated like we didn’t belong. A staff member named Remy was especially rude and dismissive — not helpful in the slightest. Rather than assist us, he seemed more interested in creating problems.

When we tried to escalate the issue, we spoke with the manager, Elizabeth, who was just as unhelpful. Instead of listening, showing understanding, or apologizing for how we were treated, she defended her staff — even though they were clearly in the wrong.

To make matters worse, they kicked our entire group out of the hotel at 11 PM — including all the children. No compassion, no support, no effort to make things right. It was shocking, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional.

Hospitality is supposed to mean being welcoming and helpful — especially to families arriving late at night. Sadly, this hotel showed the complete opposite. We will never return, and we don’t recommend anyone else does either.

This is my second time staying here, and once again, it did not disappoint! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. A big thank you to Valerie and Nav at the front desk, they were so helpful, accommodating, and genuinely kind. They made check-in and our overall stay smooth and pleasant.

Special mention to Nieves, the housekeeping supervisor . I truly salute her for a job well done. The rooms were spotless, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel is exceptional. It’s clear that she takes pride in her work, and it shows.

Breakfast was also a highlight. The food was great, and the server (who also helped us a few months ago) deserves recognition for his excellent service. Friendly, attentive, and professional , another reason we’ll keep coming back!

The hotel is well-maintained, very clean, conveniently located, with free parking — which is a big plus.

Overall, a fantastic stay once again. Highly recommended and definitely looking forward to returning!

Such a nice, clean hotel with lovely staff. Especially a wonderful woman named Nieves. She made my children feel so special and welcome while we were there with little treats and an adorable towel animal. The pool was fun and well maintained, there's secure underground parking which was fantastic, the only small issue (which was my fault for not checking) there's no breakfast included, it is free for 12 and under but you must purchase one adult breakfast for $20. Not a big deal just didn't realize before we booked. Overall we would absolutely stay again.

Great hospitality service, clean rooms and great overall hotel for comfort. Love the personalized notes left by staff members for hotel members and also the option of a soft or firm pillow. The gym has just enough equipment for any workout. Rooms were clean. They offer dove amenities. Good experience overall and good location.

I had a wonderful stay here over the past three weeks. The hotel was very clean, well-kept, quiet and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating ensuring a comfortable stay. I especially loved the thoughtful touches for being an IHG member and truly appreciated the upgraded room on my last stay. The on-site restaurant also offers delicious food, which was a great bonus. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Calgary and would highly recommend it to others.

Restaurant service was on the slower side (staff shortage possibly) but the people were very nice. Food was good and came out quickly once it was ordered. .
Rooms in general were great aside from the "hide-a-bed" couch which had a thin and springy mattress. It Allows for 2 more people to sleep in a room but doesn't give them a restful night.
This facility is still highly recommended overall!

I'd read the negative reviews and they almost put me off staying here, but ultimately the price and availability meant I ended up at this hotel anyway. And I'm so glad I did. The reviews mentioned poor service, dirty rooms and showers, and other issues. I did not experience any of this. From receptionists to the house keeping staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The room was large, modern and clean. The air conditioning was fantastic. The bathroom was clean. A slight issue was that there was no hot water on arrival, but this resolved itself after a couple of hours. The shower head was old and the flow not perfect, but it was more than adequate and once the hot water was working again it was beautifully, painfully boiling if desired! The bed was comfy. Zero complaints and would happily come back again.

I was very upset with this hotel when I checked in - my room looked into the parking garage! They didn’t seem that busy, so this seemed unnecessary. However - when I expressed my displeasure - they asked if I wanted to switch (not worth it for 2 nights), gave me a late check out and breakfast voucher. I like a hotel that makes things right!!

The location isn’t great - not close to town or the airport, but they have an excellent shuttle service to and from the airport. The hotel is clean, has nice amenities (indoor pool, hot tub, gym) and the rooms are comfortable. There is a bar and restaurant. For a short stopover - it’s an excellent option.

Hotel staff are really friendly and polite. We stayed 4 nights. Breakfast is served hot and constantly replenished. Evening meals are excellent, we ate here 3 out of the 4 nights. One recommendation, don’t use the hotel taxi service, download an Uber app. We were charged $50 dollars into the city from the hotel one and only $19 on the way back with Uber but there is a free shuttle too and from the airport which is really convenient.

We accidentally forgot a couple items in our room and the staff went out of their way to check if they were in the lost and found. The staff then bagged it up and kept it in storage until we were back in Calgary and we could stop by and pick it up. We appreciate this type of great service from a hotel! Great stay in a clean room - no complaints!

This is a late review for my stay on August 6, 2025. I was initially checked into a room that was already occupied, with someone else’s luggage inside (photo attached). Thankfully no one was present, but this is unacceptable and could have been a serious situation.

I’ve stayed here a few times before, and one of the elevators has always been out of service. The only working one has no floor display and leaves guests waiting for a long time. For a hotel of this size, this is unacceptable. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

We stayed around the flights. Nice staff. You can arrange with them for transportation from the airport to the hotel and back. Standard rooms but clean and practical. Excellent breakfast that the kids enjoyed very much. The pool is great - especially the slide - an excellent activity with the kids. Free parking. We had to fly early in the morning and they prepared bags with breakfast to take - which was an excellent and noteworthy point.

Breakfast was good and the staff there was attentive. We stayed in a suite on the first floor and the room smelled off like it previously allowed smoking. The room was not very clean. I found several super long black hairs throughout the room. There was visible mildew growth in the shower and the jets in the bath were damaged. Everything you read about the towels at the hotel are true… see other reviews. There were no towels at the pool. I asked the front to bring some to the pool and 30 minutes later they didn’t arrive. I had to go out soaking wet to again plea for pool towels.

We stayed here for 3 nights over August long weekend along with my in laws. Our kids had fun in the pool and the waterside was great. BUT we had several issues while there:
1. The parking lot has TINY stalls and only two handicapped stalls. We needed a handicapped spot and because there were only two stalls we were never able to get an appropriate space. This was a significant challenge. There was also broken glass in the parking lot from smashed windows. The stalls were so small that vehicles couldn't fit in properly and people had to take up more than one spot so less people ended up being able to park.
2. There are NO TOWELS. This was a problem in our room and in the pool. Three days in a row we had to go to the front desk to get pool towels so we could get our kids out of the pool. There were 4 people on our reservation and we only had 2 towels in our room. The first night, we asked for more towels and were given 2 pool towels instead of bathroom/shower sized towels. The second night, we again asked for more towels and were told we would have some right away. We called down to the front desk an hour later and asked where the towels were and they said they would be there soon. After two hours we finally gave up and went to sleep and dried off with hand towels after a shower. The next morning we stopped by the front desk and said we needed the correct amount of towels in our room when we returned that afternoon. We were assured that there would be 4 towels in our room when we returned. We came back 7 hours later, and there were NO towels in our room....no bath mat, face cloth, hand towels...nothing. We were incredibly frustrated at this point. We spent $300/night to stay there and had to beg for enough towels and had to shower with hand towels. My in laws had the same problem as well. No towels in their room and no bath mat or even a hand towel.

I will say that overall the hotel was very clean. Our room was big and worked well for a bigger family. But the front desk staff were not helpful at all and the parking lot and lack of towels are enough for us to not stay here again and warn other people away. We spent $1000 staying here for 3 nights, and for that amount of money we shouldn't be begging for towels.

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff. My kids enjoyed the pool (which is nicely sized for a hotel) and waterslide. Negatives is the hotel never seemed to have enough towels for everyone (it was at capacity the nights we stayed) and downtown is kind of far away, They also had a technical problem during our stay and couldn't provide us with two key cards.

Stayed here for one night and our stay is not at all good, the room was smelly not properly cleaned. The front desk lady was welcoming but when we entered the room it smelled bad. The shower is not working properly, the floor looks dirty. At the bottom of the table (near TV table) previous guest spill something it stinks and sticky cannot walk. One start because location was good. Few points nearby also breakfast is okey. Dining area is specious. Parking space is limited and not big enough to park your big sized SUV. The walls are very thin could hear from other room, not recommended. In the nearby area many other good options available.

I stayed at the hotel on August 20 and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made relaxing after a long day very easy. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with questions or requests. The location is convenient, allowing easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants, which made exploring the area stress-free.

During my stay, Robert stood out by providing exceptional service at check-out. His professionalism and friendliness made the departure process smooth and memorable. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the hotel, which allowed for restful sleep.

For my next stay, I would love to see faster check-in, more on-site dining options, and complimentary water in the room to enhance the overall experience. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in almost every way. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, who were not only friendly but also very professional and helpful throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with even the smallest request really made us feel valued as guests.

The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding — everything from the lobby to the rooms and even the hallways was spotless. Our room was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable bedding and all the amenities we could possibly need. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, which gave the space a bright and refreshing atmosphere.

One of the highlights was the location. Being right next to the airport, it was incredibly convenient, especially for travelers like us. Despite being so close to the airport, the room was very quiet — we didn’t hear a single plane the entire night. That level of soundproofing shows how well this hotel is built.

We also took some time to enjoy the amenities, particularly the pool area, which was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise — a great variety of fresh, tasty options and plenty of seating in a nicely designed dining area.

It’s easy to see why this hotel chain has built such a strong reputation. Every aspect of the experience felt polished and thoughtfully managed. I wouldn’t hesitate to return here or to recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable place to stay. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Stayed here during Labour Day weekend and this hotel was the hot mess express!! It was understandably very busy - but very understaffed. They kept running out of food during breakfast and there were waits for food as staff could not keep up. When our rooms were cleaned, they did not replenish the toiletries including toilet paper. When we asked the front desk for some TP, we were told no as there was a shortage!? Not sure what they expected us to do, but eventually we found a staff remember who tracked down a roll for us. After dark, I witnessed a shady character creeping around the bike area and fiddling with the locks. You could tell by his appearance he was not about to go for a bike ride, lol. I reported this to the front desk and they knew right away what room they were staying in and checked the cameras. 99% sure these people were drug dealers. They stayed a couple rooms down from us and had shady visitors coming at all hours of the night, in-and-out. Lastly, the hot tub jets were not working which was disappointing. Pool was insanely packed with un-supervised children. I will say though - as busy as it was, the staff were friendly and attentive.

Stayed here for one night on July 19. The room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. All common areas were very tidy and clean. The whole hotel is very modern. The pool was so warm, which was very nice. The reason for a 4* review: the pillows in our room were very thin & the mattress in our room (325) was terrible. Very worn out feeling with lots of saggy areas. Would recommend flipping the mattress or replacing it altogether.

Good choice for a stay near the airport, and if having a car easy-to-get to major roadways. In comparison to some other Holiday Inn properties, breakfast not on the same level with service, availability of items, and breakfast area. Overall, newer property with pool and slide, could be your choice while in the area.

Exceptional Customer Service!

I recently had an amazing experience with the Holiday Inn Express in Calgary. Due to an family emergency I needed to cancel my reservation, and the hotel manager went above and beyond to assist me. Not only did they promptly cancel the booking on their end, but they also personally helped me navigate the refund process with the third-party provider.

Their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to help truly stood out and turned a stressful situation into a smooth, hassle-free experience. Exceptional customer service like this is rare these days, and I’m genuinely grateful for the support I received. I will definitely be booking directly with them next time I visit Calgary. Highly recommend!

Got the job done for a short trip! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, she always had a huge smile. Our room was also upgraded free of cost and we got late checkout free of cost for being members. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel. You can tell the building is a bit older as the elevator was kind of slow. The rooms were renovated which was nice. There were a few long hairs that were missed near on the bathroom floor near the shower which was a bit gross, but as someone with long hair, I can understand and I'm just glad they were on the floor and not anywhere else.

Worst holiday Inn stay ever!! Front desk staff has lack of knowledge & rude with guest. At first she called me while I was on vacation in Edmonton that your pre booked room is not confirmed because credit card can’t be processed. After receiving email I called her to check properly she said sorry it went through. Lack of knowledge & expertise from staff’s have bad experience with guests. Also this location does not guarantee you safe free parking. The receptionist carelessly just said, feel free to park on the streets at your own cost if you can not find a parking at the premises. Had to come down and take extra blankets in the middle of the night since the couch bed was not prepared for the night and the receptionist couldn’t find staff to bring it to the room. No use discussing your concerns with the manager on duty Shamiza as she was the same. Been a regular IHG member but this location failed to deliver a pleasant stay experience!!

This place is nothing like the photos. There is only one tiny elevator for the entire building, which makes getting to your room a frustrating ordeal. The hallways are narrow and cramped, adding to the overall feeling of being stuck in a budget motel rather than a proper hotel.

The surrounding area feels unsafe—right across the street is a large homeless encampment. We did not feel comfortable walking outside, especially with our 5-year-old daughter. For families, this is absolutely not the right place to stay.

If you value comfort, safety, and peace of mind while traveling, avoid this hotel at all costs.

I chose this Holiday Inn because it was close to downtown and the Jubilee Center. It was easy to find and had parking included. Check in was very quick, the staff was friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. The price was perfect for one night.

Good location of hotel across from train station. Rooms are a little dated. When wiping down the bathroom wipes came up a bit dirty. Bed was super soft. Breakfast offered is standard hotel breakfast nothing extraordinary. Staff was ok. Not super friendly or helpful but professional. Upper level rooms offer nice views :)

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights last summer and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and recently renovated. The breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and we appreciated the ample parking options, both indoor and outdoor. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

This place was perfect for us and our two kids. It felt very safe with underground parking and key required elevators. The pool/slide was awesome! The breakfasts was a typical continental breakfast but it had multiple options including hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit. Very glad we stayed here.

We had an awful experience at this hotel. They booked a bunch of hockey teams, for a tournament and we spent our weekend there being physically and verbally accosted by the team members and some of the parents. There were 40 kids in the pool at a time, only supervised once in awhile, there was open drinking (beer cans left at the pool) and the teens were so violent that we couldn’t swim in the pool with our young kids. When we complained, the front desk agent acknowledged that she had also been mistreated by these kids and adults when she tried to ask them to stop with their antics. She said they have no security on staff to supervise this many teenagers and so unfortunately they could do whatever they like. We told her that we would be asking for our rooms to be compensated.

It took days for the General manager Sheri to return our calls and when she did she was incredibly incendiary, aggressive and spoke over us regularly. She scoffed and said I was being insulting when I suggested that they needed security on the premises but clearly didn’t want to pay for the proper staff to cope with so many teams. She was incredibly unkind and offered us only 5000 points as compensation. We paid hundreds of dollars for our room and used 50,000 points for another. This hotel has been a literal nightmare of a place to stay and the manager was super rude and unprofessional to deal with. We highly recommend that no one stay at this hotel, or risk having your entire stay upended by the craziness we experienced as this hotel clearly prioritizes the money they make by booking these teams, over their other guests.

We will also be reporting them to the AGLC for allowing so many people to be openly drinking alcohol in the pool and around the pool.

We arrived early and want to checkin early. However the clerk was not having any of it. He pulled out a form and slammed it on the counter and demanded $75. I told him it is going through my insurance company. He could care less. I informed him I needed to use the bathroom. He told me there is a truck stop down the road. I in all my years never been treated like this. I contacted my insurance company and they said yes they would pay the $75. They called Holiday Inn at 2373 Banff trail and the same guy answers the phone and places it on the counter. He doesn’t realize I am on the phone with my insurance company and they are on the phone with me on hold and can hear him babbling away. My insurance company tells me they must be busy. I said to them I’m watching this guy at the front desk and no customer is with him. For 15 minutes he does nothing. I wait, my insurance company waits because this immature kid is having a hissy fit. Why would you want to stay at a place where the staff is so immature and could care less about you? Good grief we seen terrible people but this is atrocious.

The breakfast was delicious: hot eggs, sausage, bacon. There was oatmeal with condiments, two types of juice, apples, bananas, oranges, muffins, danishes, cinnamon rolls. I’m sure some of us can change from day to day. We were there three days.
The rooms were immaculate, newly decorated. There was a small refrigerator and a Keurig coffee machine Bathroom was pristine. Air conditioner/heater worked great. Halls were safe and elevators worked perfect. Staff was cordial and cheerful. Grounds were clean. Neighborhood was safe for an evening walk. Stores and coffee shop nearby.

Hotel was Great. Comfortable for our family of four. Clean, and cozy. We would 100% recommend and come back. Thanks for having us! The free breakfast with your stay, was probably the best we’ve ever seen in a hotel

I’ve stayed in motels that felt more like hotels than this “hotel.” From the second I walked in, I was treated like a nuisance. My card had an issue, and instead of basic courtesy, the front desk clerk kept snapping, “Did you fix it yet?” like I was wasting her time. The pool? Never a towel in sight. The “body wash”? Lotion. Staff friendliness? Nonexistent. Breakfast was chaos—one poor employee left alone, no food replenished, and guests shoving to grab scraps.

Then at 3 a.m., the fire alarm blared. Turns out it’s been malfunctioning for over a year, but they still haven’t fixed it. We rushed outside with our terrified kids, only to return to zero apology, zero explanation, and zero compensation.

Days later, I find a $63 charge. Calls to the hotel went nowhere—promises to “call back” were empty. Finally, they claimed it was for a “stained” towel. The photos showed a huge orange stain we never made. Considering the filthy floors, it’s not hard to imagine towels picking up grime—but this was clearly not ours.

This place is unprofessional, unwelcoming, and unapologetic. If you enjoy being treated poorly, woken up at 3 a.m., and billed for messes you didn’t make—this is your hotel.

Travelled from Seattle, WA 10-12hours by vehicle needed a place to rest a few hours. arrive with our party (convoy of 3 families) so we got 3 rooms arrive after 4AM. Greeted from someone name Adolfo, right off the bat he wasn't the friendliest he almost seemed judgmental and very rude. takes us about half hour to check in. One point he decided to raise his voice so i asked him calmly why are you raising your voice? his tune started to change after that. Long story short we were all very discouraged from one individual all 13 of us!! so to try make up for his wrongs he gives us a late check out 1pm. i did mention that Holiday Inn would get a review for their poor customer service. not to mention charges my credit card twice $750 x 2 for a security deposit for 3 rooms :/ this was the whole reason why the conversation started

Great location. Walking distance to coffee & dinner spots. Rooms were remodeled recently & really enjoyed that. Didn’t get a chance to checkout the gym but will stay here if business or pleasure takes me here again.

Courtney in the warehouse was pleasant when booking delivery. The nice gentlemen who delivered the table called before arrival and were very cautious as to not cause damage through various challenging doorways and elevator. They took their time in centering my round table top onto the tabke pedestal which I appreciated. I am thrilled with the overall service and thrilled with my new table!

I experienced something special while I was there. The personnel were conscientious, polite, and willing to serve my family and me. Their professionalism and courtesy made us feel welcome and well taken care of.

The accommodations were better than we expected. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, clean, and warm with all the amenities in place in order to have a comfortable visit.

I was impressed with the in-hotel amenities. The gym was clean and well-equipped for working out while on the road. The pool area was clean and well-suited for relaxation and play.

Service was top-notch, with every little detail being taken care of meticulously. The experience showed keen care for the satisfaction of the guests. I would definitely recommend the property for the finest experience.

The hotel was decent. We had some issues with our first room, but the manager was excellent and moved us to another room immediately. Staff was friendly and helpful.
We used the pool a few times and the pool was really well maintained and clean. One of the best hotel pools we have used.
The only downsides is there is nothing around and you will need a car. The other issue us that the walls are very thin and we could almost hear conversations from the room next door.

This was an unscheduled stay as our flight was canceled. There is an airport shuttle available for pick up/ drop off. Hotel is clean, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms well appointed and comfortable beds. Pillows were not the best (very thin). We had a small kitchenette which had everything we needed. They have a small convenience store in the lobby as well.

Stayed over for one night. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. There was lots of parking available. There is a hot breakfast included, which was eggs, waffles, cereal, toast, ect.

The restaurant in the lobby got pretty busy around dinner but the food came out pretty quick.

There was gifted face wash in the bathroom and I used it, and I got a crazy rash on my face, and 4 days later my skin is still peeling off. Please change your toiletries.

We recently stayed at this hotel and found our room very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious, with a good variety of options.

However, our experience was significantly marred by an incident with a staff member preparing breakfast. She directly accused my child of spilling water on the counter, stating it caused her extra work. The counter was already in that condition when we came in. Being falsely accused, especially for a child, was upsetting and made us feel awful.

While the hotel's amenities are good, this interaction with staff was disappointing and unprofessional, overshadowing an otherwise pleasant stay.

Very bad customer service, and experience. Won’t recommend it. We didn’t cook in the kitchen, used only for bar. . Still they made us clean the stains on the floor, which didn’t came off even after scrubbing. Wipe off dust from ovens and wanted us to throw the cardboard boxes, which didn’t belong to us. We cleaned, still they deduct from damage deposit.

The hall does not proper working AC. It was very hot during our event. The staff are also terrible and not easy to work with. They will mention one thing and then another. They unnecessarily took part of our damage deposit.

The staff were not friendly and easy to deal with and the whole process afterwards to try and get our deposit back was terrible, there was also an argument at the end of the event between the staff and members from our party due to the staffs behaviour and demeanour.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Arts. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself is spotless — every area, from the lobby to the rooms, was exceptionally clean and well maintained.

The amenities were excellent and made the stay even more enjoyable. Everything was thoughtfully provided, making it clear that the hotel puts a lot of effort into guest comfort and satisfaction.

Overall, my stay was beyond expectations. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place with great service and amenities, I highly recommend Hotel Arts. I’ll definitely be returning!

We have stayed several times over the years. It was pleasant. This last stay may be our last. The condition of the room was horrible. The upholstery on the bed was literally disintegrating. Woke up in night to have to pick it out of my hair. Hotel response was dismissive. Front desk, literally shrugged and said that they had had a busy summer so hadn't kept up with maintenance. Manager offered a one room upgrade on subsequent stay. That in no way makes up for a room that should never have been in the rotation to be rented out.

We have stayed at Hotel Arts on a girls trip for a few years now and it has been amazing. Unfortunately, this year was very disappointing. The front desk was fabulous, but the 5/5 star ended there. Although friendly, the poolside service was a 1/5 for us. It took forever to get service, if any. Multiple times we had to go to the bar to order our own drinks, and our drinks and food were also forgotten about. As a previous waitress, I am very patient when it comes to bad service. This however was ridiculous. Paying the money you do to stay as well as $16/drinks, we definitely expected more. Everything seemed very confusing and nobody seemed to ever know what was going on. As paying customers, we seemed like more of an inconvenience. We did not get a luggage tag for our bags, and the bell boy seemed very annoyed by that when we asked to our bags. I could go on and on but I will stop there. Unfortunately we will not be back which is sad as we have chosen Hotel Arts as our girls trip destination for years. Do better Hotel Arts!

I stayed at Hotel Arts on 12th Avenue in Calgary. Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were very helpful and welcoming.
That said, I would rate the hotel more like a 3 to 3.5 star experience rather than a 4 star. The rooms and washrooms are clean but definitely in need of updating. Also, being charged $3 for a bottle of water after paying over $500 for the stay felt a little much.
Overall, a decent stay with great service at the front desk, but the facilities and extras need improvement to match the price point.

We got married this past weekend and stayed at Hotel Arts Downtown. My now husband and I had the suite with the pool balcony and it was absolutely amazing. We had room service the day of the wedding and ate on the balcony. We really enjoyed the music being played outside (there was no DJ this was just on the regular system). The room was great and there bathroom was stunning.

I got ready the morning of and we had 9 people in the room. There was lots of room for hair and makeup and seating for everyone.

We had ordered catering and the wet bar made a great place to put all of the food.

What we thought was above and beyond was the turn down service. Coming back to the hotel after the wedding, our room was tidied and the food from catering was organized and dishes were dealt with. I don’t normally leave a hotel room as cluttered as we did, but wedding day antics got the best of me. Coming back to the room so clean made for such a relaxing experience.

We would love to stay here again. :)

We arrived tired from 5 hours on the road. The check-in was quick and painless. On our way to the room, Jonathan (the bartender) alerted us to the upcoming end to happy hour, so we dropped our luggage and hit the patio. The drinks and meal were terrific! The room is spacious and filled with many modern conveniences. Will definitely stay here again!!

Just landed from Denver. Stopped at the Kensington bar for happy hour. Filthy martini and their sweet potato hummus hit the spot! Best, however, was the exceptionally helpful recommendations from our server, Johnathan!! Where to go for dinner? Interesting things to do in the area the next day? He was exceptionally (yes, I’m using that word again) kind and thoughtful!! What a lovely first impression of Calgary!! Thank you!!

The service was wonderful - staff were helpful and accommodating, even letting us store our bags both before check-in and after we checked out. We needed a mini-fridge in our room, and the team sorted it out for us quickly and without any hassle, which we really appreciated.

The rooms were modern, clean, and came with high-quality toiletry products. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with a selection of fresh fruit, charcuterie, cereals, bread, and spreads.

The location couldn’t have been better! There’s plenty to see and do nearby, and everything was just a short walk away - public transit, the river, grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and more!

We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient spot in Calgary. And next time, we’ll remember to take more photos - oops!

We just had an awesome staycation here. It had a super bizarre start to it, which created great disappointment which was later changed to absolute satisfaction with the way it was handled... The day before staying here, I went and dropped off a special bottle of Champagne (as a surprise for my husband for our anniversary) to be in our room upon arrival. It was a producer that we really like and a very special vintage (2008) which was the year we met (thank the Lord we met on such a great vintage year for Champagne, jajajajaja!!!). When we arrived to our beautiful room the next day, I was surprised and dismayed to see a bottle of non-vintage Billecart Salmon on the coffee table (we love this producer too, but the vintage aspect was the big deal). When I went to the front desk to discuss it, Colin was there and heard my story with confusion, not knowing the story or what had happened. We were just heading out for a walk so he said he would get to the bottom of it while we were gone. When we returned, Colin was aghast to have to tell us that there was a mix-up and our Champagne was put in the wrong room the night before and had been consumed by another couple. (I'm still waiting to see their review about the exceptional Champagne greeting them in their room!) He fully understood the importance of the bottle for us and was determined to make it right. While he offered us anything off of their menu, he knew there were no comparables and said he would go outbound and find us whatever bottle could make it up to us. We found another bottle that we love at a wine store at least 15 minutes away and he didn't hesitate to go out and get it for us. He truly went above and beyond to show care and exceptional customer service and it wasn't lost on us. Not only that, but every person involved in the mix-up went out of their way to find us, apologize and take accountability. We went to the restaurant in the late afternoon for (their excellent) happy hour - we had glasses of wine and oysters - and even there the server was aware and apologized. While we don't want to define our stay by that situation, we were just so very impressed by the level of accountability taken and the care to make things right. That's a sign of excellent business/customer service. We will absolutely not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

Other than that, our room was lovely, with a little balcony overlooking Memorial Drive and the river. The king size bed was comfortable (the pillows are meatballs but I already know how fussy we are with pillows and we always bring our own - good thing!), great bath tub and good water pressure in the shower.

The self-serve breakfast was nice too. An assortment of breads, croissants, fruit, some tasty egg bites, and yogurt and berry compote. The coffee may be good but since there in a Deville across the street (my fave Calgary coffee) hubs just went and got us some there.

Unlike some of the other reviewers, we had zero issues with parking. There was underground availability and a super convenient elevator onto the main level.

If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, Hotel Arts Kensington is a must-visit. The elegant ambiance and impeccable service set the stage for an unforgettable meal. Each dish is a work of art, showcasing fresh, locally-sourced ingredients with refined, flavours. also the server his name is Jerwin was incredibly attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and making us feel like the most important guests in the room.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy, with excellent room service. I stayed for a couple of nights while attending a company conference downtown. The hotel is just a 10-minute drive from downtown, which is a big advantage since overnight parking there can be a hassle.

I had breakfast in the morning, and it was fresh and well-prepared. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service.

Great hotel!! Check in was quick and painless, excellent group rate for business, friendly staff. The hotel has a restaurant with bar right by the lobby, a 24 hour gym if you want to burn some calories while on the road. Free Wifi and the room has a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine and a kettle if you need to boil water. The bathroom is nice and clean with a glass door standing shower(no tub, which is fine by me). The bed is comfortable too! I visit this property once every few month for my business trip, and I highly recommend this property.

I had initially booked a different hotel room a few minutes away and that place turned out to be… awful to say the least. I won’t go into detail but the main reason I decided to leave was due to the a/c not working in my room. After waiting over an hour and asking on 3 different occasions if someone was going to come and fix it, I decided to weigh my other options. That’s when I found the Blackfoot Hotel. After speaking to the manager and explaining my situation, he gave me the most amazing deal on one of their best rooms. So, after waking up at 3 a.m. and driving 13 hours to get to Calgary, he hands down made my day. I was so disappointed at first when I had arrived at that first hotel but after relocating to the Blackfoot, I was extremely content, comfortable and I felt a heck of a lot safer. Instead of staying in a dirty, hot hotel room, I got to stay in the best hotel room I’ve ever experienced! It was clean, the staff are AMAZING, and the amount of restaurant and entertainment options right on site are great. Everyone I interacted with was extremely warm, welcoming and friendly. Special shout out to Rick and Sean! Thank you for turning my trip around and making me feel at home.

The location was very convenient for my purposes. It has a large green space for dog walking. The dog fee was pricey but seemed to be for the whole stay (and not per dog per day). It was quiet, and the restaurant was convenient and good.

The hotel is nice quiet roomy. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Food is really good and prices are ok. But if you want something else, you can deliver to the hotel.There are vendors machines at every level and ice machines as well. Gym is small, but enough for fitness. Hot tub is outdoor and so cool!! Right at the roof, with beautiful view. There is iron in the room, TV has option to connect with your device, and there is small TV in the bathroom as well! Hotel is very close to the airport and have shuttle every 30 minutes. So comfy to stay between flights. Pillows and bed were really cozy, had a good rest. Thank you so much! Totally recommend

The rooms are large and very well equipped with desk/dresser and multiple night stands. Plenty of hanging space for clothes and nice robes. The bathroom was also very nice, with a great shower, multiple shower heads,. The room was also very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Used the shuttle to the airport, Lucky was my driver, and he was very friendly. He provided a very well maintained bus, and was on time.

Great hotel if you need something close to the airport. The building was a little run down, but the room was clean and comfortable. One of the highlights was the service - everyone from the shuttle drivers and the front desk staff were so helpful. Jashika went out of her way to provide recommendations on places to visit and gave me some great tips. Another highlight was the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was amazing.

Hotel Clique was the perfect stopover hotel for us to catch a flight out of Calgary. The room and beds were really comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The restaurant food for breakfast was fast and tasty. But best of all was the service. We had booked a king size bed, but because my kids had their flight cancelled from Glacier Airport in Montana, we had to make an extra trip to pick them up and bring them to Calgary. The hotel was fully booked but the receptionist, Jaishika, took my name and as soon as a double queen room became available, she switched us immediately. That was super helpful because we were out of cell phone range most of the drive. It all worked out great, and all the staff members we encountered were really nice. Thanks for taking care of us!

They have a very friendly staff. The check-in team was kind, and Lucky was exceptionally helpful. I had accidentally left my travel pillow in a different hotel shuttle, and he went out of his way to track it down and return it to me. I truly appreciated his effort. I also love the warm smiles on the staff’s faces whenever they assist you. I will definitely stop over again.

We used House of Bounce for our wedding venue. From the start, Randeep the owner was very professional in our meeting and gave great recommendations for choice of DJ and equipment for our venue. We chose DJ Viraj as recommended. Viraj really made everyone's night by playing such great music, playing different diverse songs by blending in cultural music with English, Latin and Hip Hop. He kept the dance floor very lively all night. Big thanks to DJ Viraj and House of Bounce for providing great services and quality music for our most important night!

I had an amazing experience working with Randeep. He was professional, attentive to all my needs, and recommended DJ Guri for my event, who did a phenomenal job. The sound system was amazing, and everyone was thrilled with the music. Highly recommend their services!

We had DJ Viraj from House of Bounce work his magic at a milestone birthday that we hosted, and the energy was just NEXT LEVEL. From the moment that people walked in, the music was pumping and got everyone grooving - later on when the party was in full swing, people could not get off the dance floor at all! He completely elevated everyone's experience. I highly recommend House of Bounce for your DJ and equipment needs. Everything from the initial communication, set up, execution and tear down was smooth! Don't hesitate to book with them!

I have worked with House of Bounce on multiple occasions for AV equipment rental. Not only is their equipment top notch, but they also provide transportation, setup, takedown, and sound check. Everything comes together and works flawlessly, so AV is one less thing you have to worry about for your event. Service and communication is amazing as well. I had one of my wedding receptions here May 2025. It was an excellent experience getting to work with the staff here, in particular Chrissy and Gavin who were both our point of contact. They were particularly attentive and knowledgeable in all facets pertaining to our wedding at the Hudson and they worked tirelessly to have the day go off without any issues. The food was excellent as well and we had so many compliments about the venue from our guests. It can be a bit confusing for guests to find their way but with a bit of pre-wedding communication regarding wayfinding everything worked out. I would 100% have my reception here again! Thank you to the team!

I recently planned our firms holiday party at The Hudson and it was one of the best events we’ve planned so far. The space very spacious and beautiful. We had over 190 guests, had room for a lounge area, photobooth and a fun money casino! Their food is absolutely amazing and the staff was awesome!! Chrissy made the event planning portion a delight! I absolutely would recommend using the Hudson for your function be it personal or corporate!

We hosted our wedding at Hudson and it was the perfect location and experience for our guests. The staff was impeccable! A huge shoutout to Chrissy and Wendy. I could not have planned my wedding if not for these wonderful individuals. The space inside is elegant and it would be great for any type of celebrations. Highly recommended.
