Had a great time picking up a suit here for a good friend’s wedding!! There are plenty of material options + I found the staff incredibly kind and accommodating. Marina helped me out and picked a solid palette for the entire wedding party. She wasn’t afraid to share her honest opinions about what worked and what didn’t. After we ordered the suit, it fit perfectly! I really enjoyed shopping at this store and it is my new go-to for suits in Calgary. Not to mention the prices are very fair.

Can't say enough good things about the Huey Lam experience and Team! I got my wedding suit and shirts for my Groomsmen. They have a ton of options for fabrics, styles, etc to choose from. For a custom suit, the quality and price is unmatched, and Huey Lam is the only place I recommend to others for their suiting needs.

My partner and I both bought suits here for our upcoming wedding. I am a very tall, broad shouldered man and I’ve never had a suit fit my proportions so well. My partner wore his suit and looked so handsome. We’re both very excited to look sharp on our day.

We were overall very impressed with the color swatches and time that went into sizing. The suits were completed in a timely fashion and we didn’t need any further alterations as everything fit great the first time. A great feeling when you’re getting ready for a wedding!

Needed a suit for my buddy’s wedding and these guys saved the day! Was stressing about finding something that looked good but didn’t cost a fortune since you know how wedding expenses add up. The staff here totally got it - they knew exactly what I needed and helped me find the perfect suit without any pressure.
The fit is incredible - honestly feels like it was made for me. Fits like a glove and I’ve already gotten compliments on it. The whole process was super smooth and they made sure everything was ready in time for the big day.
Can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you’re dealing with wedding stuff and need something reliable. Great service, great prices, and the quality really surprised me. Will definitely be back!

All my friends have used these guys for the their own weddings so when it was time for mine there was no question where I would be going. They exceeded all my expectations, this is exactly what I pictured I’d look like and I have never had a suit fit so well. I feel like a million bucks. We are so glad we found this place in 2007. We keep coming back ever since, if we need a place to stay in Calgary. You can count on very clean rooms, great location and a fantastic host. It is always so pleasant to spend time with Kelly at his B&B, meet other people and share meals and stories. This is our home away from home! We look forward to our next stay. This past summer my partners grandparents came to visit us. Feeling a bit humble about the lack of room in our home we recommended the Hughes House, which is operated by our friendly neighbour Kelly. We had seen his lovely old character rooms when we were invited to one of his community potlucks, and we thought it would be a very comfortable place for them to stay. Of course their visit coincided exactly with the Calgary Stampede and there wasn't a bed available in town, let alone the downtown core where we live. When our grandparents contacted Kelly he was totally booked, but when he heard that they were our grandparents coming for a rare visit, he decided he would put together his auxiliary room despite how hectic things were. When we went to go greet them, we found them sitting on the porch with Kelly laughing over a glass of wine.
We are so grateful for our neighbour Kelly. Not only does he operate of wonderful Bed & Breakfast, but he is a good man and a great neighbour. Every community should have a Kelly!

I've been in Calgary on business many times, and this time around decided to try a B&B. I was not disappointed with the experience. The house itself is a big beautiful Edwardian home with some really great details like heated floors in the bathrooms. The owner, Kelly, is a top notch gentleman - quick with recommendations on great places to go and always greeting us with a smile and sometimes even a song on the gorgeous piano in the living room. For those who, like me, get a little homesick for their pets, there's even a sweet little canine companion called Blanco. Make sure you scratch his ears for me (Blanco's, not Kelly's). I will definitely be making Hughes House my #1 choice when I stay in Calgary.

My first and best stop in Calgary. Kelly's House was the perfect stop for me after leaving my family to seek new adventures in Calgary. My void was instantly filled staying here. Warm, friendly, interactive and everything one needs away from home. I am still in touch with some of the people I met at Kelly's House.
I do not call it a Bed and Breakfast but my favourite uncle's place. Kelly rocks!

Amazing hotel right in the city center, within walking distance of all main attractions.
Spacious, comfortable, newly refurbished rooms with large bathrooms. Convenient on-site parking.

Above all, the staff are truly outstanding. We had a small medical situation in our group, and they handled it with the utmost professionalism—calm, efficient, almost as if it was a drill—while remaining exceptionally kind, caring, and helpful throughout. For that, we are sincerely grateful. Thank you!

This property had great rooms, with a nice pool on the 18th floor. I'll definitely be back!

I've stayed a number of really nice Hyatt hotels. The Calgary Hyatt was OK. No complaints about the service but it was nothing special. The check-in and check-out people were OK but not particularly warm or engaging. The hotel is centrally located and was perfect for my needs location-wise. I was there for a two-day conference so I booked all four days of my Calgary trip in this hotel. The hotel conference was well run and the food was great, although they ran out of coffee during one of the morning breaks and none of the staff seemed to be too concerned. My room had two queen beds and I was wondering how many guests really need two queens in their room? The room was rather narrow and the two beds took up most of the room, so it was annoying when I was trying to get ready in the morning and the desk chair kept getting in the way. IMO, the Hyatt needs to get rid of the extra bed and give guests some more room. The workout area was good and had plenty of treadmills. Maybe another bench or two would be good.

While the exterior of the Hyatt is drab, there is much to love about it.
Yes, the rooms are well appointed and the staff is gracious and pleasant. The 18th floor pool, hot tub, sauna and fitness room are beautiful and well maintained. Having a changing room and swimsuit wringer at the fitness area was very useful. The view doesn't suck. I always appreciate plush bathrobes which we used throughout our stay. Filtered and UV purified drinking water in the room was an unexpected find also well utilized through our stay. The cafe on the lobby level offered delicious and healthy snacks, including fresh fruit and veggie wraps, unusual for a hotel. There is a spa on property, two restaurants on property and endless restaurants on Stephen avenue, easily accessed through the side entrance. There was live music in the lobby on the weekend. If you are not inclined to walk or drive, you can rent a scooter or use the tram which is located right behind the hotel and has free service between five downtown stops. There is on-site self-pay parking available which is very convenient but operated by an outside vendor. We encountered glitches using it though it was finally fixed.

I enjoyed my 4 night stay at this hotel. Hotel staff were friendly. I really like the bathroom layout where it feels spacious. Lots of counter space in the room. Daily room service.

Got to enjoy the hot tub and steam room after a long hike in Banff. It was a super great treat! Hot tub water was very hot and not too crowded. (Max 4 people in the hot tub while I was there)

Superb location. Right by Calgary tower, a tram station and Stephen avenue. You’ll see some questionable characters around the hotel since it’s downtown but we didn’t get harassed.

I can’t thank my hyoyeding enough for the amazing job she did on my hair and makeup! Everything turned out absolutely perfect! Exactly what I had envisioned and more. My look was flawless, yet still felt like me, and best of all, it lasted beautifully all day without needing any touch-ups. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she was also so kind, calming, and professional throughout the whole process. I felt confident, radiant, and completely taken care of. Highly, highly recommend!

I had my wedding makeup and hair done by Hyoyeding, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. She’s not only skilled but also attentive, constantly checking in to make sure the look matched what I wanted. She also did my nails and lashes before the big day, which turned out beautifully and made things so convenient since everything was done in one place. My parents and husband were also very happy with their hair and makeup. I highly recommend her for any special occasion!

I always have a great time at IKEA! It's more than just a furniture store; it's a whole experience. I love wandering through the showrooms and getting so much inspiration for my own home. Everything is so well-designed, and the prices are always a pleasant surprise. Plus, you can't beat their food court for a quick and delicious bite!

I took my kids to IKEA and I was shocked at how much they enjoyed the experience there. We ate at the restaurant upstairs and the kids really enjoyed the food and self serve options. So much, that we went back for dinner a second time during the week. For the summer they have 50% off some entree meals. You seriously can't feed your family for this price at home.

Been visiting this Ikea for a couple decades. Good value, nice space and always updated. Great value for your house and having bought my first house this has been great for filling it with some stuff!

In the past, affordable breakfasts which have changed over time and nowadays buying stuff for the house. Always a pleasant visit through the winding maze.

Terrible experience!

I recently purchased a bed for my child from IKEA. When it was delivered, the delivery person mentioned that I had one week in case I changed my mind. The next day, I asked someone to help assemble the bed. However, when he opened the box, he noticed that the storage box and under-bed components were missing.

I went to IKEA and explained the situation. A manager kindly apologized and told me that the storage unit and under-bed parts were sold separately, and that IKEA would deliver them at no extra cost. Since my child was eagerly waiting for her new bed, I decided to go ahead and pay for the missing parts so we could receive them quickly.

This week, the next delivery arrived. But when we opened it this evening to complete the assembly, we discovered that yet again, a key part was missing.

This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Now, I have to drive back to the store, spend another hour explaining everything, and possibly be told that I need to pay again for something that should have been included.

As well my delivery scheduled between 5pm to 9 pm but it arrived 2:30 pm.
I don’t know others have like my terrible experience

I was referred by my buddy, and 100% thankful he recommended this place.

I called a last week about getting my bracelet shortened, the guy over the phone was super nice and informing.

When I came in he gave me an appraisal and left it with him for the week.

When I came back today I was greeted and called by name which I don’t see a lot of these days.

They ended up taking some links out and shinned it for a great cost.

I needed to have my wedding and engagement rings resized and found good reviews for Imperial Jewelers. The reviews were good, but I would like to say that the service was amazing! Eric was thorough in measuring and telling me about their process, which is all done in house. My rings were done in two days!!! They fit perfectly and shine as brightly as the day I was given them!

I would recommend them 100 percent!

Beautiful work! I had reached out to Nelson regarding a custom made engagement ring and wedding band set about a month ago. He searched extensively for the perfect diamond to match my budget. I came in to see the options in person and chose the perfect stone. All in a month time.

Pricing was excellent and far less than other stores here in Calgary. Quality was excellent, customer service was very friendly. Nelson and Eric were very pleasant to work with. Nothing more I can ask for.

Our wedding flowers from Incredible Florists exceeded all our expectations. They were stunning and truly a showstopper. We received countless compliments on the arrangements, and they lasted well beyond the wedding after we transferred them from foam blocks to water. To top it all off, they smelled wonderful.

Sue was a delight to work with. She provided excellent advice on choosing flowers that would make our vision come to life and still do well in the heat. We made several changes to our order, and she was accommodating throughout. I highly recommend Incredible Florists to anyone getting married in the Calgary area.

The flowers provided for our wedding were absolutely beautiful. I received many compliments from guests about how beautiful they were and how well they had been arranged. The bud vases, bouquets and boutonnières were all very full. To me it seemed that we got way more flowers than what we paid for. Additionally, Sue is a very sweet woman to work with and genuinely wants to make sure your flowers are perfect. I cannot recommend this group enough.

We used Incredible Florist for our wedding florals and we could not have been happier!! The consultation process was so easy. They were able to show me all of the options and let us play around with colours until we found the right combinations for our styles. We were also able to rent a wedding arch from them which saved us a lot of time finding a different vendor! They were very well priced for the amount of flowers we received and we got so many compliments!! Sue, Sandra and the team were so kind, friendly and professional. All the flowers we delivered to the venue, even on a holiday weekend, and they were able to come and take the arch away after the ceremony too! We took a lot of the flowers home with us at the end of the night and they still look gorgeous a week later. I would highly recommend you contact them if you are looking for a vendor for your wedding flowers or for any other floral purchase. We cannot thank you enough!!

Sunday was my first time placing a floral arrangement gift through this shop. I cannot say how amazing the service was and especially accommodating my needs on a Sunday with same day delivery.

Special shout out to Amanda who really took the time to answer my questions in regards to the concept I was looking for. Flowers/plants are not my specialty so I appreciate how Amanda was super patient, genuine and fun to talk with on the phone!

At that point I had confidence that what ever they put together would be amazing just based on the exceptional service I had over the phone. Which is not common.

Overall a disappointing experience. I had concerns with the quality of the hems and edges. As you can see from the photos, the craftsmanship is lacking. The manager said that this quality was their standard and I shouldn’t worry. It’s the attention to detail that I found frustrating, even if it is not visible on the outside. I said that for $700, the hems and edges should at least look more professionally done. The manager said that this is what $700 gets you and if I wanted better quality, I should have gone to Harry Rosen and spend $4000 instead. I found this comment dismissive and unprofessional. Even $5 fast fashion clothes have better construction, which is ironic as these suits are made in a Chinese factory as well. I also had concerns with the fabric (it is cotton, linen, and silk). The fabric was pilling and stretched looking in so many areas, making the suit look used and old. The manager said I could just use scissors to remove the pilling and this was common in the fabric I chose. However, the quality of their garments should be their responsibility and a brand new custom made suit should not look used like that. Speaking of responsibility, they said they would remove the seams for the pockets. When I got back the suit, the seams were still there and the manager said I could remove them by hand carefully. He showed me how and I realized when I got home, he damaged the fabric from pulling the seams apart. I am not sure why he did not use a seam ripper to be more careful. Lastly, the fit was so ghastly when I first received it. It was baggy everywhere. While they did alterations as part of the final look, there are still areas that are so ill fitting. As someone with thick thighs and a big butt, they still somehow managed to make the pants look like a diaper on me. I get that the fabric does not stretch, but I did not want a diaper/balloon pants. After the alterations, the jacket started wrinkling at the back, indicating fit issues with the as well. I would not recommend Indochino to anyone. I am sure many people get what they want from them, but it does not seem like they care when some people get poor quality and ill-fitting outfits.

Horrible Experience – Would Never Recommend

My dad had an incredibly disappointing experience with Indochino. He created a custom suit with them, and as you can see from the attached photos, the fit was nowhere near what the measurements should have produced.

When I contacted customer service, they told me he would have to return to their Calgary location within two weeks to have it fixed — despite the fact that he lives in Saskatchewan. This meant taking time off work and paying for unnecessary travel, all for a suit that was supposed to be custom-made right the first time.

The total cost of his suit was $800, but with the additional travel expenses and time lost, this ended up costing him much more. When he visited the store a second time, staff casually mentioned there may have been an error with how the iPad recorded my measurements — seriously? Their offered compensation? A pocket square. Laughable and insulting given the inconvenience he endured.

He was told by the store manager to contact customer service again in case they could do more. He sent an email immediately after his second trip — no response, not even an acknowledgement. I followed up three weeks later and still heard nothing.

For a company that markets itself as a premium custom suit maker, this was a completely unacceptable experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering Indochino — especially for a special occasion — to think twice. I’ll never make another suit with them, and I do not recommend their services to anyone.

We are a two-bride wedding.
We had the privilege of meeting with Marco to help us with choosing a suit for our wedding party. We absolutely would have left with the wrong colour without his help! We are so excited to share with our wedding party that their suits will not be just a “one-time-wear” because the colour we landed on is so versatile it can be worn over again. Thank you again Marco! We just had a golf themed Birthday party/ dinner and 9 hole tournament for my husband and his golf partner who both were turning 70. It was fantastic!!!! The room was beautiful at Canyon Meadows Golf course and the balloon art that Daniela and Lois did was outstanding! They even used many of the sunflowers I had brought and put our logo into the decor. So many guests commented on how nice it looked and what a great party it was. I am extremely happy with the professionalism and ease of organizing with Inflated dreams and as for the creativity.... see the pictures! They got a hole in one on that!!!!!!

We ordered a small arrangement for first birthday cake smash photos done at home. Daniela’s communication was excellent and she went above and beyond to perfectly match the colours to our first birthday banner. As a bonus, the arrangement lasted well over a week which allowed our daughter to continue to play with the balloons and left a fun festive feel in her play area. Will absolutely use again for future parties and would recommend.

Our planned accommodation for a week in Inglewood fell through at short notice so we were delighted to receive a warm welcome from Valinda when we enquired at the Inglewood Bed and Breakfast.
Our room was very nicely presented, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed chatting with Valinda and Helmut over a delicious breakfast each morning and we appreciated their many kind gestures eg allowing us to keep our cycles in a safe place, welcoming our small grandson when he dropped by, and taking us to the airport.
The location is perfect in a nice tree lined street very close to Inglewood Village and the river path. We will not hesitate to stay here again when visiting our Inglewood family.

Clean and spacious rooms for a comfortable stay.
Close to vibrant 9th Ave, and only a 15 min. walk to downtown.
Host Valinda graciously provided us with a bag breakfast for our early morning departure. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Inglewood Community Association for my first-ever Sound Bath Meditation, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked into the hall, I was struck by the wonderful acoustics of the space. The team at Somatika Healing did a fantastic job creating an environment that was both serene and inviting.

As we settled in, the gentle sounds began to envelop us, creating a truly immersive experience. The vibrations and tones were soothing, allowing me to completely relax and let go of any stress. The atmosphere was perfect for this type of meditation, and I felt completely at ease throughout the session.

The staff at Inglewood Community Association were warm and welcoming, making sure everyone felt comfortable and ready to enjoy the session. It's clear that they put a lot of thought into making their events enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

A cute community center nestled in Inglewood. Not far from the Bird Sanctuary. A nice relaxing playground for the Tots. A very nice rink for rollerblading in the summer and ice skating in the winter. The hall has a unique roof and can make for a lovely meeting space for special occasions especially if decorated.

Great little playground for kids up to probably 8. Big and small slide, baby swing and normal swing, merry go round, and a pretend car. In the winter the small hill makes for a tiny toboggan for toddlers, and the ice rink provides lots of entertainment.

We host large events at Inglewood Hall on a bi-weekly basis. The space is amazing, the acoustics are spectacular but the management and staff are my favorite part. Your bookings are well attended and cared for here.

Disorganized, and extremely unorganized. First, they send my temporary pink card the last minute before I pick up my car. Second, Chole is the one I was talking to, but I can only reach her once after 5 phone calls, and the other Brooker I talked to today at 2pm, Oct 23 cannot do anything about me not receiving offical pink card and she was trying to be rude her way out. I have to call again to talk to Chloe another day when I will be at work. Horrible!!

Zero customer service, extremely rude and unprofessional. Everyone has bad days but you should never use your customer as pushing bag. If you don’t have the patience and mindset to deal with people then find something else to do!

They were good once but I have faced nothing but trouble from their agents and the Broker on record. They have forgotten to follow my instructions and respond in timely manner. i intent to switch brokers as soon as i find an alternative.

They made a mistake which made me overlap with my previous policy. They admit their mistake, but reject making up, and tell me that kind of mistakes happen every year, and they never indemnify their fault. So I escalated to their HQ manager. However, she cheated on me to sign the cancellation form. So I did. However, few days later, she denied her words!

My wife and I were wanting to get insurance for our new car. A friend suggested that we give Ramy Rizk at Insureline Complete a call. Although it was very late in the day - on a Friday - Ramy professionally, politely, and, most importantly, calmly, answered all our questions and was able to get us the coverage we needed in order to pick up our car at the dealership that Saturday morning. If you are in the market for a new insurance broker, we cannot recommend Ramy Rizk at Insureline Complete more highly. To say the least, Ramy has gained two loyal, enthusiastic, long-term clients. In fact, we plan to transfer all our insurance needs to him in 2025. Thank you, Ramy!

The services were very prompt initially, so I bought insurance from them. Then I had to update my address, it took them forever to get that updated, then I wanted to add another car and no response. No reply from the broker for hours, I had to wait 3 hours outside the registry but no reply and no interest in getting the work done. I finally had to cancel the insurance with them and paid the penalty as there was no attempt to have that amount reduced and they asked me to cancel the insurance before even putting the detail of the second car in. So, to sum it up, pathetic service and customer support. And the reply I get is, we're also busy, we can't do anything if you're in a rush and we can't serve you at the pace you expect us to. Also at the time of query, I used to get reply after 1-2 days. So, stay away.

Most positive insurance experience that worked with us to get the best rate possible when we purchased our first home back in 2020. We have done auto with them for years, Roger and team are fantastic to work with.
