Heard good things. Want to change my broker to another local firm as they were bought out by a national firm and that ends up being a different thing all together, I’m not into endless phone hold queues and all that. Inquired via their online form, left a lot of detail, don’t hear back in 24 hours but more like three days. Someone asked a few follow up questions at that point which I responded to that day, never heard back again. Homeowner, couple personal vehicles, no claims in decades. Moving on to inquire with other local brokerages. Disappointing.

I took the cake decorating class. It was so much fun, the instructors were really friendly, fun, and informative. It was a small class so everyone was able to get help when needed. I would definitely take other classes with them. Thank you for a great day!

I love my new bottle. So awesome and perfect for me. I have been sick and just had tea in it. I have the habit of forgetting my tea but it stayed warm all night and day until I remembered it and finished it and the taste stayed the same. Thinking of getting one customized for my hubby. Great for gifts or even yourself. The staff was very friendly and pretty good at editing what I wanted. Super accommodating and kind. If anyone is willing to sit and be patient with my perfectionist mom then you know they are good. $35 for the bottle and $10 for the engraving is a little steep but totally worth it

I wish there was a 10 star, Lamose deserves it!! I needed a special gift for friends who really supported me when I lost my mom this April but I couldn't find anything that they can remember their kindness with. I Googled & bumped on lamose. I contacted them on Sunday night & sent the photos, they were so patient with my many changes. On Monday I got the email back, they recustomized the tumblers for me way better than I had done!! This is the first customer service that I received email replies within minutes, by 2pm Monday I received the last pic of the tumblers & guess what, the following day Tuesday the tumblers were ready for pick up!! So beautifully done & packaged. My friends love them, they can't believe the many hours the coffee stays hot. Lamose am forever grateful! You are truly the best.

I bought my husband a mug for Christmas and got a customized water bottle as well. It does keep your hot drinks hot for many hours! Customer service is awesome, and they really work with you to ensure you are happy with the design prior to printing it. Super happy with my purchases!

Found Lamose today in Chinook Centre in Calgary and this is the coolest thing ever! I’m a big fan of Swell water bottles and the Lamose bottles may be my new favorite with no plastic tin the lid construction! I got my bottle laser engraved with a custom photo of my choice!! I was looking for a quote on renewing my auto insurance. I spoke with several other brokers with terrible results before trying Lanes. Since I have been with Lanes Insurance almost 2 years now I have never had better rates and such good help. I recommend Lane’s to all my friends! Best rates around and they've always been so helpful and wonderful whenever you had to file a claim. They get back right away and I always feel like the agents are friendly and caring. They're on top of everything for me and even helped me lower my rates. Who does that at an insurance company?! Laura shot our wedding ceremony and reception and we couldn't be happier with the results! She has a very good eye for angles and captured moments that we never even thought important. The video is very candid and natural, and along with the perfect editing and progression of events, makes for a very enjoyable documentary of your special day! We had an English and a Persian ceremony and the cultural traditions were very seamlessly worked into our wedding video. Plus, she is an absolute delight to work with!

We met Stephanie through a mutual friend and right away, we knew we wanted to work with her for our wedding. We originally had chosen a different decor vendor to work with but that quickly turned into a disappointing nightmare so when we met Stephanie, it was a huge relief to know that she understood our vision and she was so easy going and easy to talk to.

Lavish Linen and Decor was amazing to work with to plan our venue decor and make our vision come to life! We got married in a shop on the family farm, but after Stephanie and her team were done decorating it did not feel like a plain shop! Stephanie was great to work with as she really listened to what we wanted and she would propose great ideas if our 'plan A' didn't work for any reason. Stephanie was professional and polite and offered a variety of decor items! When I was in between ideas for table decor she let me borrow a few items to play around with different ideas. Reasonable price too compared to other decor rentals. Would recommend at least meeting with Stephanie especially if you are doing a large scale project as it really made an impact at our venue location on the farm. All in we rented fabric draping for the ceiling/walls, cafe lights, table linens, and table decor items... and she did our live greenery/flowers for guest tables. It all came together in a reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable cost!

Lavish is absolutely amazing!!! We could not have asked for more for our wedding. Stephanie went above and beyond and was AMAZING to work with. The whole process was so smooth, she was so easy to communicate with, and she has incredible experience, knowledge and artistry in her work. She did all of our decor and our florals and we could truly not be happier, everything was absolutely breathtaking!!! Stephanie at Lavish just did both our decor and florals for our July 22 wedding in Calgary. Wow is all I can say. She absolutely knocked it out of the park! Le bouquet did my wedding flowers and they turned out amazing! Laura was super responsive via email. We arranged the flower palette months before the wedding and it turned out great. The arch looking beautiful and the centerpieces brought the venue to life. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I received the most stunning surprise bouquet at my bridal appointment this past weekend. I absolutely love fresh flowers and almost always have them in my home, and I’ve received flowers from many florists around Calgary—but this bouquet was by far the most beautiful and freshest I’ve ever received.

The arrangement was meticulously crafted, with every bloom perfectly paired to create a gorgeous, complementary bouquet. Not a single petal was damaged or wilted, and the colors and combinations were breathtaking. Even two days later, the flowers still look incredibly fresh and vibrant.

Laura and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding the most beautiful day we've ever experienced! They rolled with the risk we took to have our wedding outside when it was raining all morning and early afternoon. Laura and her team were so adaptable and waited for the rain to pass, making sure everything looked absolutely perfect within a very short time frame. They stuck around to help with repurposing everything for the reception, and just WOW! We could not have been happier with how everything turned out. They took our dream floral arrangements and turned them into reality. They were honestly the most beautiful flowers we had ever seen. I would 110% recommend Le Bouquet Floral to anyone and everyone who is looking for gorgeous floral arrangements.

From the valet parking to the lovely hotel receptionists to the incredibly comfortable room, my experience staying with Le Germain was nothing short of wonderful. Beautiful hotel in a perfect location where everything is within walking distance. The room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. Only if the window is open can you hear the noise of outside, and the minute it is closed you’re encased in silence. Fantastic place to stay for a couple nights!

This was our first time staying at Le Germain for a date night in the city, and it was such a treat. The location on Stephen Avenue was perfect, steps away from great restaurants and a beautiful area to walk and explore at night.

Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The valet came right away and made things easy, which helped with the small inconvenience of nearby construction. I really appreciated how convenient the online check-in was, and our room key worked without any issues the whole time.

We were surprised with a complimentary upgrade, which made the night feel even more special. The room was modern, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it made our date night memorable. We would definitely come back again!

Rooms itself was nice and spacious. Bed was on the harder side (not my cup of tea). There is in room coffee machine with pods. I have never been a fan of valet parking, even worse when it’s almost forced because there is no other option really. Then having to pay $50 on top. Truly not worth it. Just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Location is very central to many bars/restaurants. Likewise, because of this, there is a lot of traffic. The staff we encountered have been all nice.
Room can use more bath towels.

Most likely would not return due to the parking situation alone.

Just faced an exceptional customer service from Erica. I requested additional night at Calgary Le Germain, but the hotel was fully booked. Erica was so nice to put me to the wait list and to follow up my request. Today she called me back and told that she was able to extend my booking! That were amazing news that made me really happy! Thank you Erica!

Me and my partner stayed here for our 1 year anniversary for a downtown date night.
We were happily surprised when we got a complimentary upgrade to an amazing room facing the Calgary tower with a soaker tub and waterfall shower.
The free coffee and water is a nice touch, We called to ask where the ice machine is and they offered to bring up a bucket! Amazing employees and we will deffs be recommending to anyone looking for a place to stay, thank you guys!!

Yelena did an excellent job on hemming my daughter’s grad dress. The original skirt had a court train and Yelena was able to shorten it to floor length all around. This helped to get rid of the excess bulk and made walking easier. Yelena is kind and gives great advice on undergarments/accessories to complement the gown.

I had my daughter’s graduation dress altered here, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Yelena (the seamstress) was incredibly professional, paid close attention to every detail, and the final result was absolutely perfect. The quality of her work was impeccable. We’re so happy with how the dress turned out — I highly recommend her services!

Yelena is amazing at her craft and is very pleasant to work with! I came to her with two dresses for a wedding - a bridesmaid dress and a very unique dress made in Cameroon. The Cameroonian dress in particular was a challenge given the material and how big it fit on me initially. Yelena was patient and worked her magic. I was very happy with the outcome. She was amazing! My wedding dress came in defective and I didn't have time to do a replacement. So she rebuilt part of my dress and did the hemming and bustle in just a few weeks so I could wear my dress. 100% recommend

I ordered the Salted Chocolate Caramel cake for my husband’s birthday. It was so good! A beautiful cake, amazing flavour and not overly sweet which is exactly what we were looking for. The cake was a big hit! Caroline was so good to deal with! We can’t wait to try some of her other creations! Highly recommend!

We choose Lemonberry Pastries for our wedding cake and we are so glad we did! Caroline is very easy to work with, and was able to coordinate with our florist to make our wedding cake perfect. The cake turned out beautiful and tasted delicious! She has many different flavor options that you can choose from and combine. Caroline's cake are extremely affordable as well. The number one advice we heard was to save on your wedding cake as guest rarely end up eating it. We wanted something beautiful for pictures, while staying in budget. We are so glad we used Lemonberry Pastries for our special day

Her cake was honestly one of the best I have had. The rose and raspberry filling was dreamy, frosting was so light it was hard to tell it was buttercream. The cake held exceptionally well refregeriated.

I was looking for an Earl Grey cake for my sister-in-law's birthday and found the London Fog cake. I took a chance and ordered it, as I have never heard or tried Lemonberry before. Marie is WONDERFUL. My fiance and I had been in a few times previously just browsing with my parents, and when it came time for our wedding bands, Leno was one of the places I wanted to inquire with about getting a custom band made to match my engagement ring. Low and behold, petite Marie had just taken her maternity leave and was out of the store! However, the others in the building (optical and spa) were able to put me in touch with her via email, and even though she had just had a baby and had her hands full, she was able to give me a quote and chat with me about my desired design.

We immensely appreciated her taking the time to help us out, and to be so incredibly friendly and accommodating the entire way. I ended up ordering my custom wedding band and Marie was able to make it into a reality. I just picked it up today and it is EXACTLY what I wanted, even though I literally had no reference material and had never seen anything quite like what I wanted. She was able to work around our work and life schedules even while on maternity leave and was a huge pleasure to work with. Professional, efficient, precise and bubbly are all words I would use to describe Marie. I would highly recommend Leno Fine Jewelry and Marie personally to anyone looking for a bit of bling in their lives or help on making their custom dream come true! We have been going to Leno Jewellery for a number of years now. Marie is always super friendly and we find the selection of jewellery does change everytime we visit. Marie has always been able to find the jewellery we are looking for and the price always good. If you give her a budget, she generally will work within. Marie also sells on consignment so if you're ever wanting something, check if she has it because some of the items that come in have never been worn so you can often get a better deal than buying brand new. Worth checking out!

I visted the location at Heritage Christian Academy. The meals are made fresh daily and the price is right. I haven't eaten from here as its not or the public. I have had the meal prepared at other events and it is good. This is why I gave it a 4 star

Got my hair done by Sasha and she did everything right. She listened to my needs about wanting to dye my hair. When I asked for a trim and said I wanted no more then a few cm she listened and pulled through. She kept me constantly hydrated on a hot day. And made me feel relaxed and pampered. She saved my blunt a** bangs and layered my hair perfectly. She has amazing conversations and does her best to read if people. She’s super sweet and will take care of all your hair needs and wants

Update as of March 2025: the salon has only gotten better. Kirsty is so thoughtful and takes great care of your hair and really listens to what you want. Can't recommend enough!

March 2024: I had the best experience with Kirsty. She was so attentive and explained the process to me every step of the way. I'm beyond satisfied with my hair - the pictures say it all. She was on time and the quote I had for pricing matched what I paid. I take great pride in my hair and her work was cut out after a difficult bleach experience elsewhere. Five stars. Six if I could! She even offered me her banana because it was a long appointment. I loved the decor of the salon- even under renovation it was super cute! Every staff member I interacted with was genuine and friendly. I felt at home.

Kirsty is an incredible hair stylist with an amazing eye for detail and a true passion for what she does. She takes the time to listen, brings creativity to every appointment, and makes it a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. I always leave her chair feeling confident and refreshed. I got my hair cut by Kirsty once and I loved it. Today I went to trim my bangs a little and give them a different style, and I was surprised that it was free, and I liked the cut even more! Kirsty is truly someone you can trust when it comes to figuring out what style might look good on you. I’m extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behavior I experienced by Kirsty!! I had an appointment for hair coloring, and the stylist didn’t follow up with me until the last minute. When I finally received a message, I clearly explained the color I wanted and that I didn’t want bleach or highlights.

Just a few minutes later, I was told it couldn’t be done without bleach, and since I hadn’t replied sooner (even though I wasn’t given much time), my appointment was canceled.

Leyla made my traditional Nigerian dress for my wedding. I needed it very last minute and brought her just left over material. With such little time , 48 hours, Leyla was able to create the most beautiful piece. She is not only an amazing seamstress but she is a brilliant designer. With the time crunch I was only able to consult with her briefly about what I wanted and she took that and created something so stunning that made me feel so beautiful on my big day. I cannot recommend her enough. I would most definitely without a doubt trust her with any piece. Thank you again Leyla.

Leyla is very professional and talented designer! I can’t express enough how much I appreciate her alterations for my wedding gown! She saved my wedding dress, as It was a last minute call when I reached out to her. Without any hesitation Leyla altered my gown from size 14 to 10. It was done so accurately and attentively to every small detail that you can’t tell it ever been altered!

I am beyond happy with the alterations made to my mother of the bride gown. It fits perfectly and Leyla added some really nice touches that I didn’t even think of. It was done within 10 days. So awesome. Highly recommend her!!! And the bonus is she’s a lovely person.

What I loved most is that she really cared about each bridesmaid feeling good in their dress. She adjusted every fit with so much patience. The result was a set of dresses that looked elegant and effortless.

Lianne was the ideal makeup artist for my wedding. She has an extremely calm and professional demeanour - something I greatly appreciated while the MOH, MOB and myself were getting ready. She handled makeup for the three of us effortlessly.

All correspondence between Lianne and myself was prompt and professional - she answered all of my questions and provided helpful feedback. I also did a makeup trial, which was really helpful in ensuring I had the makeup look that I wanted for my wedding.

I didn't have a lot of structure/vision to my wedding, and I really appreciated that Lianne matched that energy during the day of, as well as during the trial. Lianne also worked cohesively with my hair stylist (neither had met previously) and I appreciated the professionalism between both of them.

I came to resize my two rings and I was so surprise that it was ready on the same day. I highly recommend them specially if you are looking to resize or do some repair for your jewelry. The quality of work is very smooth. They charge in a very decent price than other jewelry shops around downtown that gives way over the price.

Next day re-sizing with quality work and very affordable services! Saved me a good $50-100 by going to a bigger retailer for a simple re-sizing. The team was very friendly and took the time to cut my ring while I was on site so I could test out sizes.

What a wonderful place! I phoned yesterday to inquire about a scratch on my engagement ring (bought elsewhere). The gentleman on the phone was friendly and helpful. He said to bring the ring in the following morning and it be done by 2pm, and it was. Plus I had it resized last minute too. Such a fast turnaround. My ring looks brand new and is completely seamless! Thank you !

I had two rings sized here. I called and they told me to drop them off on the Friday afternoon and they were ready by mid afternoon Monday. Given they are closed weekends this was an amazing turn around time as everywhere I had called said at least a week. Both gentlemen there were extremely friendly! They look the time to size my fingers to make sure they were going to be the sizes I needed. The entire process was quick and efficient! I am beyond happy with the quality I received! Both of my rings came back to me looking brand new with no evidence they had been sized! I cannot thank you enough for the amazing quality! Had the best experience with Arjuna last June. Had my graduation photos done with him and they turned out beautiful. I was worried because my figure was not what it once was but I had not even mentioned that to him and he seemed to already know how to work around that with the way he positioned me and my family. He is also great with kids, very patient and friendly. Very talented, cannot say enough positive things about my experience with this photographer.

I went to Liliana’s today thinking the new dress I purchased for a wedding needed to be altered. When I arrived, I tried the dress on and showed Liliana what I wanted done. She tightened the bra straps, retied the back of it, and voila!! The dress was altered exactly how I wanted it. 😂 She wouldn’t accept anything, but insisted I come back to see her after the wedding and tell her all about it. Not only is she a lovely person, but she clearly knows what she’s doing and has an eye for dresses and garments. 10/10 Would recommend.
