I booked Makeup by Stasya for my best friend's wedding and she did an amazing job! She completed 3 faces of makeup and 3 heads of hair well within the time frame we needed to be ready. She also has great communication and was so lovely to work with. Her prices are far better than everyone else I considered in Calgary and her work is high quality! She even gave us little care gifts. Absolutely would use her services again!

I had the absolute best experience with Mareena as my wedding makeup artist. She did both my hair and makeup and made me feel so beautiful on my big day. Mareena was so easy to work with, super professional, and gave me lots of helpful info beforehand so I felt totally prepared. She also brought along two other stylists, Lindsay and Assala, who were wonderful as well and did such a great job with my bridal party. I can’t wait for another event where I get to have Mareena work her magic again. Highly recommend!

I am absolutely thrilled I was able to have Mareena do my makeup for my maternity photoshoot. She made sure that my makeup was great and when I finally saw myself at the end of the session I felt absolutely stunning and like the most beautiful pregnant women in the world.

I got my makeup done in the morning, had to have lunch, then the photos in the afternoon.

The makeup stayed the entire day and through the whole shoot. She even made sure I had a touch-up bag with items and product to ensure I could fix things that might be needed. Lucky for me I ended up not needing to use the kit, but I was definitely less stressed knowing it was there if needed.

She was also really professional the whole session. We had great conversation and I just felt taken care of through the whole process.

Man of Distinct Scam.

I left thousands of dollars worth of high-end products with them and got back pennies on the dollar. To make it worse, they claim my Burberry items might have been donated. Really? Burberry not good enough for your shelves? Need I say more.

I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with Man of Distinction. I brought in several high-quality items to consign, only to be told they couldn’t take them and would instead donate them to charity. I trusted their word, assuming my items were being given to those in need.

Fast forward a few weeks, I walked into the store only to find my items being sold on the floor. This is an outrageous display of dishonesty and shady business practices. Not only was I misled, but they turned a profit on items I was assured would be donated.

If you’re considering consigning your items here, think twice. Their integrity is highly questionable, and I would advise others to avoid doing business with them unless you’re comfortable with being misled and taken advantage of.

Wonderful men’s consignment store in Calgary. Well organize and a great selection of clothes at incredible markdown prices. Shoes, pants, shirts, dress shirts, suits…. This store has it all.

The months leading up to the wedding she made it so easy to add and remove things from our original order once we had a better idea of the number and what vision we liked. She has a great eye for detail, and we really left the design and floral choices up to her which they absolutely did not disappoint! Our arrangements, bouquets, bud vases and boutonnieres were absolutely beautiful! We were even able to send us a sneak peak the night before and made a few on the fly adjustments to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. I cannot thank Mandala flowers enough for making our wedding florals everything we dreamed of!

We came in looking for a very specific business casual outfit for my partner and had the best experience. The shop owner really knew what sizes and cuts would work and we found the perfect outfit in under 30mins. So happy that we found this place after searching through the mall and the other menswear shop!

We used Mansour's in Dalhousie for our wedding and it was nothing but mistake after mistake. We went in looking for suit rentals for the groomsmen and a custom suit for the groom. The store is a distributor for Collins Clothiers, which is the actual suit rental company. On our first visit, the owner showed us both the catalogue and the swatches from Collins. There was one light brown colour and one dark brown. It was very clear that the browns were switched up - the light brown swatch was labelled as dark brown in the catalogue and vice versa. The owner told us to trust the swatches instead of the catalogue because "the photos can look different" despite us insisting that the colours were switched. That same visit, we looked through swatches for a suit for the groom and they didn't have any burgundy, which was what we wanted. The owner told us he would order some swatches and would call us when they came in. A few weeks later, we still hadn't received a call, so we called the store. The guy said he "lost our number" and that he would order the swatches. As if losing our number prevented him from ordering them in the first place. A week later, he called to let us know he had the swatches. We went in, and there was only one swatch. We didn't like the colour at all but we thought it might look alright if we could use the backside of the material. We asked him if we could and he said he would check for us. He called us back later to let us know that they didn't even have enough of that material to make a suit. At that point we went elsewhere for the groom's suit, he was just wasting our time. That same visit, we ordered the groomsmen's suits, and he showed us another swatch in a different book, and it was the same as the first swatch -- the colours were swapped compared to the catalogue. At this point I was worried that we had ordered the wrong colour so I called Collins directly, and they told me it was a known problem -- the catalogue was correct and the swatches were wrong but they had let all their distributors know so they could switch the swatches. Obviously this guy was oblivious, plus he gave us bad advice telling us to trust the swatches. A week later we get a call telling us we had to come in because he forgot to take the deposit for the suit rentals while we were there so we had to drive way up to the northwest to pay him. The guy said the suits would arrive on Monday or Tuesday (wedding was on Sunday) and that there was guaranteed to be there with enough time for alterations. We let him know that one of our groomsmen lives in Barrie and that he wouldn't be arriving until Saturday. There's a Collins Clothiers close to where he lives so he said that he would have that suit shipped to Barrie so the groomsman could try it on, then if he needed alterations, they could do it there and then ship it to Mansour's so the suit would be here waiting for him. The Monday before the wedding rolls around and all the groomsmen but the one from Barrie have received calls that their suits came in. They went into the shop to try the suits on (one of which fit so poorly that they needed to order a whole new suit for him, so there was no time for alterations and his pants didn't fit right) and one of the groomsmen asked if everyone had been in to try their suits on yet. The shop owner said no, they were still waiting for (name) and (name) to come in. One of those of course being the groomsman that lives in Barrie. He had failed to send the suit to Barrie like he promised. So he sent it to him but by the time it arrived there was no time for alterations so he didn't get to try it on until the morning of the wedding. The measurements were so far off that the pants were six inches short (pic). We tried to call them but they're closed on Sundays. Thank god there was enough hem, we ripped it out ourselves and fixed the pants but it made us late to the ceremony. Plus we only ordered pants, shirts, jackets, and ties but ended up receiving vests and suspenders as well; I get the feeling the owner deliberately did it to upcharge us.

Most incredible customer service I have ever received! I do not typically write reviews however this level of service cannot go unnoticed. I had rented a suit from a company in Ontario for my wedding in Banff and arranged to have it shipped to Mansours in Calgary. We had talked to Mike in advance about business hours and our arrival and he offered to stay open late to make sure we got the suit Friday before our drive to the mountains. Unfortunately we got caught up by the car rental company, we called Mike again to inform him and he was happy to stay open for the 2.5hours extra it took us to get there! Unbelievable! His only concern when we arrived was that the suit had everything I was expecting and that it was to my satisfaction. It was absolutely my pleasure working with Mansours and I cannot speak my praises loud enough. Thank you so much for the help Mike!

The owner is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He even came in when they were closed on Sunday to get everything sorted out the day of the wedding and again on Heritage Day so I could return my rental suit before the work week started. Highly recommend.

Mauricio was amazing! He was the perfect DJ for my husband's birthday. Mauricio was punctual, professional and willing to pivot our set up plans when the weather wasn't cooperating. He customized our song choices and set the vibe for the entire night for our party. To be honest, our party would have been boring without him!

We were invited to a birthday party where [DJ' MaoMix was performing, and we had such a great time! The music was absolutely perfect — fun, energetic, and kept everyone dancing throughout the night. The DJ knew exactly how to set the mood and played a great mix that appealed to all ages. Even as guests, we could feel how much the music elevated the entire celebration. It was one of those parties you don’t want to leave! Huge shoutout to the DJ for creating such a fun and unforgettable atmosphere!

Absolutely love this place! The food is very tasty, the desserts are delicious, and the sandwiches are amazing. They also have really good tea. I was very impressed with the design of the café — everything looks so stylish and thoughtfully put together, with colors that match perfectly. The atmosphere feels modern and cozy at the same time. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

There is a reason this place always has a lineup, always worth the wait. Incredible range of baked goods and the sourdough base for their breads is especially fantastic. I love how many sweet and savory options they offer and the coffees are really tasty too. The roll cakes are a favourite, and the baked breakfast options always seem to have a new flavor or a different style of pastry. The sandwiches are also delicious and perfect if you want to grab something and then go to the park across the street. Top notch and part of my weekend morning routine to stop by and grab something.

Small bakery cafe featuring small cream puffs, croissant, sandwiches etc coffee is fine, the only complaint is that one of server is not very friendly when I ask for more hot water for my tea and the same when my daughter ask for the same. Very reluctant. Otherwise overall experience is good, place is clean and comfortable. Recommended

I barely give anyone any review but I couldn’t resist giving Mari a 5⭐️ because of their Sourdough bread. I have been searching for sourdough bread that made from a real sourdough starter and I am very impressed. It is definitely the best sourdough bread I’ve had so far. Most importantly, we are in this economy where everything is increasing and I found that their price is very respectable (cheaper than many bakeries in the city) but higher quality. I’ll be a regular at Mari 😍

WOW! Am amazed at the repair Marianna did to my bike shorts! Had a bad tear in a hard to repair area, the right where the cheek meets the saddle. Not any more! These shorts had provided me with years (10+) of comfort, fun times and style that I just didn't see them in the trash. So glad I found Marianna online. She repaired them to last me through the End of Days! She also PROPERLY fixed the previous repair without any guff, they look & feel perfect! Thanks Marianna, will let my friends know of the pride you take in your work.

I have been taking my alterations to Mariana for over 7 years now, and I trust no one else with my clothing. Mariana is always professional, efficient and upfront about costs and production time. Because my husband and I renew our wedding vows each year, I have taken several gowns (formal and informal) to her for tailoring. She has also assisted me with numerous alterations for my work dresses and slacks. Thanks to her creativity, I now have a custom shawl made out of my family’s tartan and faux fur. There really is no task too big for Mariana, and she always loves a good challenge. I highly recommend her for any and all alterations!

(Am) I am very pleased with the alterations that Marianna did with my dress for a Christmas event I will be attending in December! It was very big in the bust area, (I don’t have big ones) and I didn’t want the straps it came with. I saw her on Nov. 8th and she told me to come on Nov. 22. (If she needed a fitting she would have let me know). A little pricey, not too much over my budget, but for her work it was worth it! I tried my dress on and I felt so beautiful!

Agent was very rude. We were on some couches in the waiting area as they were with someone. We were talking quietly when they said "could you be quiet? I conducting business here." I understand that we may have been distracting and I appreciate them for asking, but the way they asked was very rude and then they proceeded to roll their eyes and shook their head. This was the first time they had asked and we were not being loud. Now how you treat customers. I will not be going here for any of my travel needs. Maybe remove the waiting area if you don't want people waiting.

Maggie was awesome. She helped us find a perfect spot to go for our honeymoon. Made it so much easier than trying to do it on your own. Thanks again Maggie. Will see you when our package is ready for pick up

What a fantastic experience I've had booking my holiday with the wonderful Tracy Bosworth. I couldn't recommend her anymore. She was just wonderful. She really understood what we wanted. Lisa was an amazing help! We booked a villa in Puerto Vallarta for a big family trip, 17 of us in total. Lisa helped book our flights, even adding an additional person later on. She also booked our shuttle and made sure there were car seats for the littles. Everything went so smoothly and her attention to detail and up beat personality made it even better!

Oh my gosh!! MS. Tracy is brilliant! My daughter and I were with her for an hour just trying to find the perfect hotel for 3 adults that only wanted adults only resort. we were very particular. We also wanted this trip originally in March! After she assessed our needs, after hours, by the way, she stayed until my son and daughter both agreed with the Resort that she has been to also!! She even showed us pics of her time spent in the Breathless resort cancun riviera maya! I already know we will have a wonderful time having this experience together as a family. Can’t wait for the trip. Tracy even talked us into going in April so that we could find what we needed for accommodations. Thank you so much! You are my go to now forever, stuck with us! 😀

Robin is amazing!!! She found a great resort for my daughter and my trip. Then when we realized a week, not 11 days, would be long enough away from home and our pets, she went above and beyond and got our flights switched for a minimal fee as well as got our seats selected so we were together and switched over the checked baggage that I had paid for first flight.
Really an amazing experience! This is why you use a travel agent and I highly recommend Robin!

Great service, ring came before the estimated time frame, and it cost less than we had initially budgeted for to boot. Wow, what a wonderful experience the staff at Marlow treated us to! We bought our engagement and wedding rings separately and as a first-time jewlery buyer, I thought Marlow and Kat were very fair with their pricing, more than reasonable answering my metal and gem-related questions, and helped quite a lot to build the engagement ring my wife described. What we got was exactly what we expected, and then some.
We both found our rings exquisite, and Breanne was helpful when we came to select wedding rings together. Timelines matched what we were told, and had no issues.

I recently ordered a beautiful pair of Trinity Geometric Earrings from the Marlow Design Collection and I am anticipating to pick them up! I was browsing and seen a pair in their showcase at their studio and fell in love! Most of my jewellery is more on the costume side, so it’s very special that these studs are classy and at a price point I could afford. This is a wonderful, magical place ! Myself and my co worker had a generous gift card for this shop from one of our students and we were excited to walk over and see what they had that could spruce up our Montessori classroom. We were welcomed by a warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff named Nicole who helped us find the perfect plants! She showed us the secret room upstairs that was quite a little sanctuary and she helped us with are instructions. Nicole is the best ! Cole did an amazing job officiating our elopement a couple weeks ago. We were blown away by how he thoughtfully integrated our favorite show, The Amazing Race, into his speech, personalizing it in such a meaningful way that reflected our journey and future together. My now-husband and I were truly impressed — we loved every minute of the ceremony. His words were inspiring, heartfelt, and emotional, leaving a lasting impression on us and our guests. We’re so grateful we hired a videographer to capture it all, so we can relive that beautiful moment again and again. I’ve been trying to find the words all week to thank Cole for officiating our wedding, so here goes.

If you’re looking for a boring, standard wedding ceremony, I know Cole would be able to create that for you, but you would be wasting his incredible talents. Cole through his process crafted for us a ceremony that had everybody confused why he wasn’t at the wedding reception because it was obvious that he knew us so well even though we had only met him in person that day. He listened to us in preparing for the ceremony to make it ours and his questionnaire was a fun date night that even helped us understand what we both wanted the ceremony to be like. Through the whole process Cole was professional and prompt with his communications and responsive to our adjustments. Given the detail that Cole went through with us in what felt like a short amount of time we had high expectations and he still blew us out of the water. Cole - thank you so much!

Cole was someone I was hoping to officiate our elopement before we even won and he definitely exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant for our wedding! Honestly, I think the best thing I can share about Cole was... everything? He made both the vows and wedding ceremony super easy to plan out, and he was all about our fun ideas! He sent a questionnaire and then added all these amazing personal touches to our ceremony. We had so many compliments on his work, and he made it seem like it was a friend of ours doing the ceremony.

Let me start with that I am speechless, I’m not even sure where to begin here.

Cole is literally the definition of the most perfect officiant.
The time and thought and customization he puts in to his ceremonies? Incomparable.
I mean this is the only time I’ve been married and the only time I plan to do it, but Cole stood out from the start, there was no other competition once I found him.
I honestly probably would have been prepared to change my wedding date had he not been available at that point.
Everyone raved about how amazing the ceremony was. I’m a nervous person and cried as soon as I started walking down the aisle. But the way Cole led the ceremony grounded me instantly, I felt so comfortable being up there and being able to focus in the moment with my now husband.
I lost my voice on my wedding day, but you wouldn’t have known with how smoothly the ceremony went because of Cole.
Cole, I don’t have the words to express my gratitude. Whenever we go ahead with a vow renewal I’ll be seeking you out, and of course I’ll be recommending you anyone that needs any officiant.

Warren was excellent. He is truly a gem!! We met him to do the rehearsal and he helped us so much and gave us too many pointers!!! And the day off, he was perfect!!! Warren is warm, gentle, a calming presence, can speak softly but be heard by a whole room full of people, and has the perfect amount of personality to accompany your ceremony- without overshadowing you as the couple, he has the perfect presence to make your wedding ceremony memorable, beautiful, and exactly what you want it to be.

I would 100% recommend him! Fair price, prompt, easy to communicate with, and a very nice person.
