We were lucky enough to work with Alan for our engagement photoshoot and wedding pictures! He was amazing to work with and made us feel comfortable during the photoshoot and throughout the whole wedding day. I honestly loved working with him and the pictures came out BEAUTIFUL!! My wife and I hired Alan for full-day wedding photography as well as a pre-ceremony couples shoot. We hired Alan to photograph our backyard wedding. He was very courteous and professional about the entire process. He came to visit the location a few weeks before the event and worked with us to plan the schedule for the day. On the day itself, he was very attentive and made the whole process move smoothly along. The pictures were a blend of portraits and candid, with a bit more emphasis on the candid shots. Our wedding was a very small one, but he did a good job in making it look wonderful.

We had the pleasure of having Alex shoot our Engagement shoot & our Wedding day. In both cases, he and his team were amazing! Alex really made us comfortable, so even if you think you do not know how to pose or whatever the case may be, he will make you comfortable. Our favorite types of photos were candids and they really delivered amazing photos. We really surprised ourselves by absolutely loving the "posed" photos just as much. I rented a limousine last weekend for my son for his 25th birthday 🥳 The driver arrived at my house 30 minutes before the time that he was scheduled to be here . We went outside to see the car and was very impressed on the cleanliness and look of the inside of the car with the fancy flashing lights. throughout the night, I kept in touch with my son, and told me that everything was going smooth, and was having fun.He told me that he found the driver very funny. I can’t ask for a better service and professional company like Atlanta limousine. For sure I will be a returning customer. Thanks again

Sadly we had a disappointing experience with this limousine service. There were used glasses with leftover champagne left in them when we got in there for the first time, no ice for the champagne, no water bottles and air conditioning was not working. We advised the driver of this and he said it was on but the air was not cold at all and the temperature was 30+ degrees outside. You can only imagine when it's a wedding party in the limo, driving around for pictures and having to be drenched in sweat because we were unable to cool down in between destinations. No apology from the owners, management or even a reply when my cousin reached out to let them know of this situation. Very disappointed 😞

I never take time out of my day to write reviews, but this was the worst limousine experience I have ever had. There was nothing pleasant about it. It appeared nice on the outside, but everything on the inside was horrible. Hot air coming from the AC, used and dirty champagne glasses, warm champagne, no music. There was really nothing in general; it was basically just a large vehicle to fit 8 sweaty passengers in it. The least they could have done was respond to my brother-in-laws message and take 2 minutes out of their day to apologize!

It is our first engagement shooting experience, but Alexandre teach us with patience and professionalism. We're grateful to choose him as our photographer, best ever in the city! We're now enjoying our photos everyday, thanks him for reserving these beautiful memories for us!

If I could put 6 stars, I would! Alex and Irina are an amazing team and photographers that we met at Salon Marions-Nous. My husband which has an eye for photography, fell in love with his work. As the bride, I really needed to be reassured that my needs where going to be addressed and that my wedding was going to be personalized to my taste. He did that beautifully! Alex did not pressure us into getting more services such the video package (which he does also), he simply listened to our needs and executed them. It was such a pleasure working with him and we absolutely loved his pictures. He captured every "single" moment of our special day! We love 600 pictures captured by him and Irina. Amanda is truly the best in the business! She will tell what she offers, and how she can help make your day less stressful.... now times that by 1000 and that is the amount of heart and work she will put into making your dream wedding day come true! we started our wedding journey thinking "we got this!!!" oh no we didn't! after booking our major vendors, giving ourselves a pat on the back and taking a "well deserved break" it was roughly 6 months to our wedding and we felt like nothing had been done... already so much was going wrong (but that's another story) so i reached out to Amanda (who also happens to be an incredible cousin) she took the reins right away on top of her already busy schedule to help us plan the wedding of our dreams! we felt absolutely 0 stress in the days leading up to the wedding! as a bride, i thought i would've been nervous and what not... nop, i was DIY-ing a sweater that i wanted to wear the day of the wedding 2 days before! thats how at ease we were before the wedding! I recommend her to anyone getting married or planning an event if they want total peace of mind! Amanda is the most organized person in the world and so good at what she does that words can't even describe how amazing she is at what she does and who she is as a person! Our driver Rael was wonderful! The service from the red carpet to having water and champagne in the car added to the experience. Rael was so kind and easy to talk to. My husband and I talk about how the ride from photos to our reception was one of our favourite moments of the wedding and the service definitely contributed to that!

This limousine company is phenomenal. The service was exceptional with our drivers Tony and Vince who made our wedding day even more perfect. They offered us wonderful service!

After speaking with with three Limo companies in Montreal, we hired Ambiance Limousines for our daughters wedding Oct 2,2021. Sam was really nice to deal with over the phone and then in person when we signed the contract. The driver's name was Tony and he arrived on time and was very professional. He took great care of the Bridal Party. I would highly recommend this company.

We got no where. I personally would not recommend them. And I feel sorry for my nice driver having to work with a partner like that.

This is a very European-feeling shabby chic hotel in a great location if you want to explore Montreal on foot. The lobby coffee shop is legit and the espresso is good. It opens at 8M.

Rooms are quite pretty. Note that bath towels are provided, but not washcloths. Our room was air-conditioned and the AC was nice and powerful.

Street parking is extremely difficult. Reserve one of the very limited number of hotel parking spots if you can. It's something like $30 a day as of summer 2025 and that price is absolutely worth it as parking is nightmare in this bustling part of town. We had to park a few blocks away in a private pay garage.

We stayed two nights at the Ambrose and would definitely return.

A nice place for the cost. Rooms are simple and fine. Service is friendly and bilingual.

Parking situation around the hotel is a bit of a pain - if you can’t reserve a spot at their lot there are only a couple spots you can park in overnight along the road, otherwise you’ve got to find a private garage somewhere else in the neighborhood. The location isn’t bad if you’re planning to spend most of your time downtown or along the waterfront, but we found ourselves shuttling back and forth between the hotel and the Plateau/ Mile End neighborhoods, so we’ll probably look for accommodation over there next time we visit Montreal.

This hotel is located on a residential (mainly student housing) street near a busier, more commercial one. This gives it a quiet, tucked away feeling, while still being quite walkable.

Rooms are lovely with high ceilings and old-school charm. Do be prepared to navigate lots of stairs and narrow hallways - would not recommend this spot for anyone with mobility concerns.

Minimal sound proofing between rooms and hallways. Was not an issue during my stay, but I could see how it could be, depending on how busy the hotel gets.

Staff at the front desk / café were very sweet, but be aware that this is a low service hotel and there is not always a staff person on site.

Overall, would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location of Montreal downtown area. It's a self serviced check in-check out hotel with passcode for entry and fob for room entry. Old building, no elevators. Check in is at 3 pm, in case you reach early they have area to store luggage safely. Hotel also has a cafe downstairs.

We came from Saskatchewan to find a wedding dress for my future daughter-in-law. Mary was absolutely awesome! She knew what dresses to get Lauryn to try on and she ended up finding her dress! Then while looking down stairs, I found my mother of the groom dress and her grandma found the perfect pant suit. The dress was a great price as well. I called Friday to ask if it’s ok to come with no appointment just to look at the dresses without trying them on, the man said yes, he was really nice. Then I called Saturday to ask again the same question to be sure and it was a yes again, and today I went there and the lady clearly didn’t wanted to help. I understand you have customers to look after but I do not need anything because I will just have a look ,I don’t know what I will like as a dress and I called 2 times, if they would’ve told to me that I specifically need an appointment I wouldn’t have come.She makes us remove our shoes to go upstairs and again she says but you can look online. I just left,0 customer service .

I felt very welcomed coming into this store. George told me and my fellow bride that our stress will go away once we get into his store. The experience was amazing. The build up to the « yes to the dress » was magical. I found my dress and veil with Mary’s help. They were wonderful. 100% recommend this place to my friends and my family! Please come! Went for a work event. Got food poisoning. The people at our table that ordered chicken received salmon since they run out of chicken! The plates were cold. They were bringing one plate at the time. Not the same since the different owners! The sofas in the lobby were so destroyed.

Context: dress shopping for a garden fantasy (fairy themed) party.
I had been discouraged after visiting a few places on St Hubert with prices that were too high and sizes that did not fit my body (XL). I had almost given up, but spotted a deep discount rack outside Anais Designs, $12 with no try-ons, with a more realistic range of sizes. Nothing was amazing there, but I saw more sale racks inside. I ended up buying a $15 (also no try-ons) dress as well as a $60 dress (see video) and loved them!
The shop is well-organized and has beautiful pieces. Customers must remove shoes to try on dresses, which I appreciate to keep the pieces clean.
I would certainly return and send friends.

I had the chance to do a makeup class with the ladies of Anaivi. They were able to give us tricks. Their explanations were really simple and easy to understand even for people who are not used to do their make or so called expert. Andrew DJ'd our wedding and it was truly the best experience we could have had. Their team coordinated with the venue and the different vendors to make sure that the night went off without any problems what so ever. He was very accommodating do our mixed backgrounds to cater in the variety in music as well. I had Andrew play at my wedding and everyone, including myself, were on their feet dancing the night away! He made sure to include all of our favorite songs, and created a personalized playlist according to our preferences. He was also the host at my wedding and executed beautifully with the outmost professionalism and enthusiasm. He also knew how to transition between each moment so smoothly (speeches, father-daughter/mother-son dance,...).
The guests were very impressed and the energy of the night was up until the end of the night. Could not have been happier with his work, can't wait to have him again for future events!! Definitely recommend him!

I had an amazing experience at Angelica Jewellers in Montreal! Their new store is absolutely stunning, bright, modern, and welcoming. I bought my very first diamond piece here, a beautiful tennis bracelet, and it was such an exciting and memorable moment for me. The security guard was very unprofessional, told me the place was closed, and didn’t wait two seconds before getting out of his chair like I posed some kind of threat. I’m a repeat customer and carrying groceries. He was puffing up his chest like I was a threat, very unwelcoming and I haven’t even walked into the store yet. His job is keep the place safe, not to question every customer who isn’t doing anything suspicious. Update: google maps said the store was open, and the security guard represented this very store. If the owner thinks it is a separate business, he should look into that himself. Losing potential repeat customers.

With only 1 day before my daughter's ballet performance, I went on a quest to find a professional make-up artist. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to reach anyone, I stumbled on Anne's website. I texted the number on the website, and someone answered in a timely manner, with the kind of understanding only parents get amongst them. Today at 7:00 am, waaay before opening hours, my daughter was being transformed right in front of my eyes! I'm a proud daddy who made sure his little girl got what she wanted! I used their services for my wedding and truly, it was impeccable and amazing. Choosing the proper car (which was in meant condition, Royal Princess 1966) was easy with so many choices, great conditions, and having a great service by Marlène. For the day, Serge was our chauffeur and we greatly appreciated him along with his professionalism and service as well. Everything was perfect, the timing at different places was perfect and there were also nice perks that came with the car, decorations, all sort of drinks and so on. We are really happy and we thank you for the amazing service we had for this day. You helped smoothin our day!!

We had a great experience with Amtique limousines for our wedding. The car was clean and elegant, the driver, Joe, was professional, cooperative and considerate. We order from Antoine almost every week. Their meals are delicious and they don't use much salt which is good for my husband. And they are very reasonably priced.

The food is amazing quality and very delicious. The instructions are very easy to follow and everything heats up beautifully. There are lots of choices every week. It’s a huge relief to not worry about cooking on busy nights and know that I’m still eating something nutritious. The reusable containers make me feel good about the environment. I had the salad with blue cheese last week and it was the best blue cheese I’ve ever eaten! Bravo!
