We had a very disappointing experience at Harry Rosen. I visited the store with a friend of mine who is a lawyer , and he was looking to purchase a suit. Unfortunately, the way we were treated by one of the staff members was completely unacceptable.

As my friend was browsing and checking one of the suits, a sales associate approached us in a very disrespectful manner. Without any proper greeting or assistance, he abruptly said, “Oh, this is big for you. Did you check the price?” The way he said it made it clear he was implying we couldn’t afford the items, which was insulting and made us extremely uncomfortable.

We felt judged not by our behavior, but by our appearance. The assumption that we didn’t belong there was clear and deeply offensive. Ironically, the man who spoke to us was also an immigrant, yet he treated us with a level of prejudice that was shocking.

This experience made us leave the store immediately, and I strongly urge Harry Rosen management to train their staff better—especially when it comes to professionalism, respect, and customer service. No one should ever feel humiliated while shopping, no matter who they are or where they come from.

One star is too much. Just left. I went in ready to buy a Canada Goose winter jacket and ask if they could order three more in different colors. Stood there for a few minutes. Nobody looked at me. Nobody talked to me. I'm embarrassed for the employees and management. I learned how to treat customer's better working at Levi's when I was 19. It was truly a pathetic showing. I'll go downtown and get my jackets at the actual store. Don't waste your money with these clowns.

I’ve shopped at Harry Rosen frequently in the past and have purchased around $20,000 worth of clothes between 2016 and 2019. Since then, I’ve gained about 30 pounds from training at the gym, and I came in specifically to get properly re-measured—suits, shirts, trousers—so I could confidently know my sizes across brands for future purchases, including online.

Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating. As soon as I walked in, a very aggressive, fast-talking salesman approached me. I tried to explain clearly why I was there, but he refused to listen. Instead, all he wanted to do was push the Canada Day sale, telling me about 40% and 50% discounts, and insisting he knew my suit size without even taking the time to measure me carefully.

When I tried on a size he claimed was “definitely” right, it was still tight, and he immediately shifted his pitch rather than actually helping me find the correct fit. At no point did he show any interest in understanding that I wasn’t looking to redo my entire wardrobe in two hours—I was there to get the right information so I could be a long-term customer again.

I’m giving two stars only because once you know your fit, Harry Rosen carries excellent, high-quality products you can shop yourself. But I’m removing three stars for the terrible customer service. Instead of building a relationship and potentially earning $20,000–$30,000 more from me over the next few years, this rep chose to act like a hawk chasing a quick commission.

Disappointing experience for a store that’s supposed to be about personal service and expertise.

Totally looking forward to Harry Rosen's automated message telling me they are sorry for my experience and to contact some inbox they clearly wont do anything about given all the similar negative reviews that have been recurrent for this store over the years.

I had a great experience shopping here. They didn't have the shirt I was looking for in my size but my salesperson, Dimitri, went above and beyond- he offered to order it for me and had it shipped directly to my home... it arrived the very next day. I really appreciated the fast and helpful service. Def going back.

Worse customer service ever. Online purchase. After two hand washes the BOSS joggers became dull and faded in some places. First contact was made on February 2. Three calls and 10 emails sent. Still nothing. The problem was confirmed and the item was sent back. But no refund and no sorry compliments received until March 13. The only phone answer is they work on it. Seriously?!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE ! My stylist was Patricia, and all I can say is chef kiss 💋. I went from black to red with no damage to my curls. 10/10 would recommend. I’ve had very bad salon experiences in the past and I have to say they restore my faith in salons. They are so kind and professional and actually listen to what you want. Again 10/10 would recommend

I walked into the salon feeling quite apprehensive, unsure if the service would live up to the price — but I’m happy to say my expectations were not only met, they were exceeded. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. The atmosphere was warm and professional, and the customer service was outstanding from beginning to end.

My hairdresser was incredibly attentive to my needs, took the time to listen, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The final result truly spoke for the quality and care that went into the service. You can tell that this team takes pride in their work and holds themselves to high standards.

If you’re someone who values excellent service and wants to feel that your hard-earned money is well spent, I highly recommend this salon. It’s an easy 5 stars from me — I’ll definitely be returning!

I have been seeing Patricia for more than a year now. She is fantastic! Great with curly hair for both cuts and color and also patient and always willing to giving advice. She’s also great with children. She’s my six year okd son’s hairstylist if choice. He has curly hair as well and we have tried several. He always picks Patricia and his hairs does look amazing!

Patricia colored my natural hair for the first time ever, and I couldn’t be happier that she was the one to do it! The blonde balayage she gave me turned out absolutely stunning. I’ve never received so many compliments on my hair.

Beyond just the color, Patricia was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain how to care for my newly colored hair, and honestly, my hair has never looked or felt this good.

She’s not only amazingly talented, but also so kind, warm, and professional. I recommend her to everyone I know, she truly is the best hairdresser I’ve ever had!

Beautiful salon. Love the products they use. I had the stylist Mia. She’s so kind and fast. I got a blow dry and curls. My hair actually held the curls the next day. The normally don’t when I wash and curl the same time.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. They are scamming people/taking deposits and then cancelling a week before your wedding. Disgusting.

I ordered two helium Number Balloons for my 35th birthday and I am very satisfied with the service and the quality of the balloons. It was very easy to order online. When I went to pick up the balloons at the store they were ready. My B-day was in a park and the balloons were perfect all day. It's been 4 weeks now and the balloons are still floating at my place!

I have ordered the balloon online to celebrate my son’s birthday and everything went well. It was beautiful and a great surprise for him! I will definitely refer this place to our friends!

Amazing little shop that has everything for the perfect setup! After days of searching, I was finally able to find the balloon arch tape that allowed me to create amazing photos booths for birthdays and even work events. I like the service so much that I went back to get a giant golden numbers to comomerate thd 20th a the company.

My now fiance is a bit nosey and new the proposal was coming. Jordan helped me do a custom engagement ring completely virtually, and it came out perfectly. Super helpful with sorting out the pricing for different options and patient with my questions about sizing. All in all a 10/10 experience and she was thrilled with the result. I had a fantastic experience at this boutique! Shopping is by appointment, which allows for a personalized experience, but Ege kindly accommodated me on short notice. She helped me try on so many beautiful dresses from their collection! I loved the colours, fabrics, styles, and overall quality. Ege was also very understanding and flexible when discussing the store's policies on shipping, exchanges, and refunds. The store owners, two lovely ladies, were incredibly kind and welcoming. They offered us drinks during our visit and patiently allowed me to browse and try on as many dresses as I liked. Their boutique was beautiful, and they also carry bridesmaid dresses. I appreciated their transparency, as all pricing is clearly listed on their website. Although I didn’t find my dress here, I would highly recommend this boutique to any bride. It was truly an amazing experience!

I love love love this boutique - tried on several dresses and all were high quality and beautiful. Especially loved that HerCloset provides a kind of Say Yes To The Dress bridal consultation feel to every appointment. The space is luxurious, and Ege was very attentive and astute with helping me pick styles that would suit my body type. There’s a LOT of variety & whilst I personally ended up finding my dream ‘princess running barefoot through fields’ vibe, you could def find also sexy, classy, or prom pretty! Would 100% recommend!

I stayed at this hotel recently and I would like to share my honest experience. To begin with, the room size was very good and spacious, which made it comfortable for me and my family. The location was also convenient and gave us easy access to what we needed during our trip.
However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. At first glance, everything seemed fine, but once I looked under the bed, I found a soda can and quite a bit of dust. This was very concerning because I have a young child who loves to crawl and explore. Unfortunately, she crawled under the bed and ended up with dirt on her clothes, which was frustrating and not something I expected from a hotel of this level.
Cleanliness is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay, and while the visible areas looked okay, the hidden spots clearly were not given enough attention. Families with children, in particular, need to feel that the environment is safe and hygienic.
Overall, the room size and location were good, but the lack of thorough cleaning really affected our experience. I would recommend that management focus more on proper housekeeping to make future guests feel more comfortable and satisfied.

We had a wonderful time at the Hilton Garden Inn Montreal! The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were slightly soft for my liking but comfortable nonetheless. The pool was fantastic, as were the views from the terrace on the 11th floor! I truly felt safe at this property as a key card is required to enter the garage, make the elevator move, enter the pool and gym area, and obviously, your room! There is a restaurant on the main floor lobby, we ate there once and found it overpriced and the food mediocre at best. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

We went to this hotel and found blood stains on the bedsheets. They clearly are unsanitary, the hotel also absolutely did not care about this incident. Telling us to report the incident before, when we did not see it. I'm sorry but if I am going to this kind of hotel I will not start inspecting the sheets and the room upon arrival. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. You can find a lot of better and cleaner options nearby. The only good thing was the people at the reception were very nice!

Rooms were good except that theg didn't provide us slippers & upon asking they did. So, i think they should have just kept it before guests check in if that is their routine policy. Also, the room was bked for 2 but we had only 1 chair with the coffee table to sit by the window, i think they should keep 2 chairs, so 2 ppl can sit by the window for breakfast. Checkin had a big queue & wait. Loved their clean lotion & shower gel shampoo. Liked their linens. Room was clean & provided with small refrigerator & keurig.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people looking to stay in Montreal, as it was super close to everything and easy to walk to and from places. However, we requested room service multiple times at the front desk (as we woke up too late to receive the early morning room service) and did not ever end up having our room cleaned. We were there for two nights and not once were we given fresh towels or anything. Despite that, I’d still stay here again.

I recently tried a catering service for my weekly meal prep and it was fantastic. The dishes were delicious and packed with flavor. The meals were carefully portioned and convenient to grab on busy days. I highly recommend the catering service for tasty and nutritious meal prep options.

My experience with Hoda’s catering was very professional, efficient, and friendly. Although the planned event was canceled, when dealing with Hoda’s catering they provided two menu proposals that were of reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Hoda's is the best catering I've dealt with in Montreal. They always reply fast and deliver even faster. My favorite dish is Kebbe and they've been able to satisfy my cravings 100% of the time. I'd definitely recommend it.

My stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites Montreal Centre-Ville Ouest was fantastic. The first thing I noticed was how clean and well-maintained the entire hotel was, from the lobby to my room. Everything felt fresh and welcoming.

The staff deserves a special mention. Every person I interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, which really added to the positive experience.

For me, the location was unbeatable. Being so close to public transportation made getting around the city a breeze. The biggest bonus was the 747 airport bus stop located directly in front of the hotel. This made my arrival and departure completely stress-free.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Montreal. The combination of a clean and comfortable room, wonderful staff, and incredible convenience makes it a top choice. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

The hotel itself is nice . clean rooms, comfortable, and with a good view. However, the staff’s behavior completely ruined the experience. They were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. At one point, my friend was choking and coughing, so we called the front desk to ask if they could bring water to the room. Instead of helping, they refused and told us to go downstairs and buy it ourselves. In any proper hotel, sending water to a guest’s room is normal and could easily be added to the bill.
On top of that, the elevators are painfully slow ! every trip downstairs took about 8–9 minutes of waiting.
Even though the hotel itself was nice, I won’t be staying here again because of the rude and unwelcoming staff.

Well placed in the heart of downtown, not too far away from a metro station, which can be convenient to reach other places in the city. The hotel’s cleanliness is impeccable, as well as their rooms. Bathroom was well stocked both in terms of towels, with updated soap & lotion (both from Dove, opposed to your stereotypical mini soap bar, that dries out your skin faster than a hair dryer in the Sahara). Bed, as well, was tailored for someone who would desire a specific level of comfort, especially within the range the pillow can be between firm & soft, but also in between. Whether for a quick escape from a routined lifestyle, or just comfort during a business trip, booking a room there may satisfy well.

The staff overall was helpful, welcoming, & had proper customer service to ensure the experience in staying in their establishment was memorable.

This is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at—especially for the value. Honestly, this isn’t just the best Holiday Inn I’ve stayed at—it’s one of the best hotels, period. I stayed here last weekend for a concert in Montreal and again this weekend for ÎleSoniq, and I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the city. Location is very close to a Metro stop and a grocery store. Spent 5 nights there in August 2025 with my spouse on vacation. Was able to see a lot of Old Montreal and the downtown neighborhoods using transit to get around. Rooms are well kept and service is good. Restaurant is good for breakfast, ok for dinner with a relatively small menu. I wish they had machines with bottled pop and water on the floors, there's only a cooler at reception with that, and you have wait in sometimes a long lineup to pay at the desk.

We had a lovely stay here and the location is truly very good. Yes there is a homeless encampment just a couple streets away but we only had to go that way once to catch a bus and never had any trouble the whole time staying at this hotel. It’s right next to a metro and like a 6-min walk from the Notre Dame. Super close to the port, and every couple streets over you get a new section of Montreal.

Rooms were clean but outdated so that’s why only 4 stars. Bathrooms are well maintained and the water pressure is good, water heats quickly, and the AC works quickly as well.

It seems like an aging hotel but it could be so cool if updated. The lobby is very well maintained with koi fish and all, it’s just empty most of the time and feels weird to be there in the quiet.

I spent 6 days in Montreal and also did a day trip to Quebec. While I stayed at this hotel, Pierre at the front desk was amazing. He is very knowledgeable on places to visit and dine at. Pierre made my trip more enjoyable. The hotel is very nice as well as the room. It’s on the same block as Chinatown so food isn’t an issue. Highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We had a fantastic experience at the Holiday Inn Montreal Centreville Downtown. The location couldn't have been more perfect — several major tourist attractions were just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot or short Lyft ride.
One of the unexpected perks was the onsite parking available for a very reasonable fee, which made our stay even more stress-free. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a great place to relax when done touring the attractions.
But what truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible staff. Every team member we encountered was friendly and helpful, but a few went above and beyond and deserve special recognition.
Enoch, the bellman, was incredibly kind. He consistently went out of his way to assist us and always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. His kindness and attentiveness truly stood out and were greatly appreciated.
We’d also like to give a special shout-out to Michael and Lara at the front desk. They were both incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional. This was especially true when Lara helped us extend our stay — she made the whole process seamless and stress-free.
At first, we were apprehensive about paying a bit more to stay closer to the city center, but knowing now how fantastic this hotel is, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second. We couldn't recommend this hotel strongly enough and would most definitely stay here again!

Pretty close to everything if you like to walk. Subway station is a block away and china town is pretty close. No complaints for a holiday inn. Breakfast was 50$ extra so I wouldn’t recommend it especially cause there’s so many nice cafes downtown. Rooms are meh didn’t expect much but we had a walk out which we didn’t use mostly because it didn’t smell like fresh air just food and trash. Gym is what you would expect from a hotel gym but pool was pretty nice.

This hotel is in a bad part of town. Homeless people running around. Addicts holding meth pipes at every corner. The room itself is sub par. The biggest complaint is the bugs (moths) in the room. I've had to kill several. Also the water in the shower all of a sudden gets very hot, or very cold. I've been scalded a couple of times during my stay. They also refused me a late check out, even though I arrived almost a day late for my arrival (yes it wasn't their fault but they could have accommodated me since the room wasn't used for almost a whole day). All things considered, there are many more hotels in the area that would be a better choice.

I reserved a room for 4 people for 4 nights at this hotel, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience.

We arrived late at night after a very long trip (around 11 pm) with big luggage and lots of personal items. At check-in, they gave us two key cards. When we got to the room, neither card worked because they hadn’t even been activated. We had to go all the way back down to reception just to get them fixed.

Once we finally entered the room, the situation got even worse. The room was unbearably stinky. I couldn’t tell if it was from the carpet, the bedsheets, or both. To make matters worse, there was no window that opened to the outside, so there was no way to get fresh air. It honestly smelled like rotting garbage. As we started unpacking, the smell became even stronger, and it was impossible to tolerate.

By 11:30 pm, my partner asked me to pack everything again so we could request a different room. We went down to reception, explained the situation, and asked to change rooms. At first, they refused. After insisting, they made us wait until 12:30 am, only to say the only option was a refund. But at that time of night, after such a long journey, finding another hotel was simply not practical. We were exhausted and stuck in an unacceptable room.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable, the smell unbearable, and the staff completely unhelpful. I couldn’t even sit on the bed because I didn’t know where the odor was coming from.

First thing in the morning, I will be speaking to the manager. This stay has been a nightmare, and I absolutely would not recommend this hotel

Quiet place away from the downtown madness. Hotel is a retrofitted hotel, old structure with new features. I am very sensitive with smells and the carpet has an odor...bearable. my room needed more lighting for night hours but that probably would cost too much. Overall it was a descent place.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday in Montreal. The staff at breakfast were absolutely exceptional – their service and attention made the mornings truly enjoyable. The rooms and facilities were exactly as expected for the price, very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The overall environment was pleasant and welcoming, offering great value for money. Very nice hotel. Great breakfast selection, clean rooms and great sized pool. Super close to everything too.
My only complaints are the bed sheets do not fit properly, we ended up in a nest of sheets all around us. There's also no change room in the pool area which was inconvenient but not a deal breaker. Overall would go back again.

Don't get fooled by seeing their lobby that their rooms will be good...their rooms were like shelter home rooms..we didn't get tv remote and intercom phone..then we had to request to get those..bathroom floor were very dirty even carpet..unbelievable...i usually stay in holiday inn but this hotel room didn't feel like welcoming. Plus breakfast was not included. Plus no water available in the lobby or dinning area...when my daughter went to front desk, they said "bathroom water is drinkable"...i had to wait till morning when gym and pool area was open..then my daughter got water from gym in early morning for me....

Definitely one of the best located hotels in downtown Montreal. The vibe coming inside from my first impressions, it was calming and relaxing. The first lobby hall has glass walls as shown on the photos and the outside is greeted with nature's green. Has a heated pool so you can sit back by the side, relax, take a swim. The room I had was pristine. The WiFi was no hassle which is great.

The only downside I consider to this hotel was probably the price of the breakfast; considering the menu was not that a lot but you're paying for the experience and convenience. Overall, I enjoyed staying here, the staff were friendly and professional.

This mid-century modern hotel is absolutely gorgeous—stunningly beautiful and wonderfully calming. We booked directly with the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade. The recently renovated king studio was spacious and quiet, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. We especially enjoyed strolling through the garden with lush greens, small waterfalls and ducks. Breakfast was good, made even better by the cheerful waiter who sang and danced. Parking was easy, and the location is convenient—centrally situated between downtown and Old Montreal.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Everything was enjoyable and clean. Pool was lovely. Rooms were spacious. Beds comfortable. Proximity to popular sites was convenient, including both trains. The workout room offers alot of options. Staff was friendly & helpful. We liked the food and eating in the courtyard area with the ducks!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Montreal. The hotel features many great outdoor areas to unwind in nature. There is also a heated outdoor pool featuring a sauna and hot tub! The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are polite and great at giving local recommendations.

My only recommendation is leaving the pool bar open later as after 6pm many of us had to bring drinks from the inside bar.

Overall it was a fabulous stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel with great amenities and a convenient location.

This hotel was modern and clean. Our room was spacious and room service was standard. The best part was the heated pool and hot tub area which was amazing and open until close to 10 pm. Highly recommend it. The breakfast buffet was too pricy. You’ll find better food at a lower price in nearby cafes. All in all a great experience.

The hotel staff are so incredibly nice and accommodating. My husband booked a room not realizing that there is no elevator and no mini fridge in the room (we have a baby so need a fridge to store milk). They moved us to their sister hotel down the street (hotel Uville) without charging us extra. They even took our luggage over to the new hotel room. Cannot recommend them enough. Everyone was so so so kind.

The only thing that I would change is it was hard to find the hotel. We didn’t see any signs or names for the hotel. We arrived into a parking lot as per our GPS. There is a small back door you can go through from the parking lot to go inside the hotel but there is no way anyone would know that. The staff will come meet you in the parking lot when you arrive, just give them a call.

Great boutique hotel in old Montreal. I have stayed here twice in the last 6 months and both times were wonderful. We've stayed in a King and Queen suite and both were great. The morning breakfast being delivered makes the hotel feel like a B&B.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Old Montreal. Rooms are quaint with an old world feel. Stone walls, exposed wood ceiling beams and wood floors gives the feel of staying at someone's home.
Rooms have large walknin showers, ample lighting; hair dryer and small hotel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are provided. Rooms have king size bed and twin size lounge couch, electric fireplace, ample storage, closet and coffee maker- no refrigerator.
Daily box breakfast is included and can be brought to your room or enjoy in the private hotel café. Breakfast includes a croissant- GF available, cheese, nuts and berries, juice, coffee/ latte. Perfect start to the day.
Service is exceptional with a knowledgeable staff that can help you with recommendations for places to visit.
The front entrance of hotel is currently only accessible by foot as they are redoing the streets. Daily attended parking available w a fee. We stayed for 3 days and did not use our car at all. Took in everything by foot or short walk to the metro

Hotel Epik was the perfect place to stay for our first trip to Montreal. Nestled in the heart of Old Montreal, this was the perfect boutique hotel! The rooms were lovely, the best hotel shower I’ve ever had, and breakfast included either to your room or in the dining room. Ana and Emma were extremely helpful and gave wonderful recommendations! I would highly recommend!

A lovely little hotel in the heart of Old Montreal. Our room was comfortable and full of character. The staff were helpful and welcoming.

The big selling point for this hotel is location. The room we had was large with two rooms and a living room with a pull out. The mattress on the pull out was in rough shape and the room did not have sufficient linens. The room was also darker and in need of maintenance. Now onto the good… $16 uber to the casino! Great walking and people and very kind staff. The underground parking is small but very convenient and reasonably priced.

Great location in a really hip part of town (near china town, saint laurene blvd and Saint Denis). Hard working, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and comfortable. Included breakfast is good and quite popular with the guests. I could hear 10 different languages being spoken at breakfast. Hotel also has parking at a reasonable rate. Good amenities overall…

You’ll see some reviews saying that the hotel needs a refresh. While that is definitely true I balanced that with the more affordable room rate. Though I will say that for the life of me I can’t understand why any hotel has carpeting in the rooms. Carpets never look clean in a hotel.

The service completely sucked. House keeping didn’t come the first time. When we asked a staff member at the front desk she said she would let someone know to bring fresh towels, cutlery, and to have the garbage emptied. We come back after being out for awhile and everything is still the same. This happened more than once. Later on at night we went somewhere again and came back after requesting for the same thing again. The staff member at the front desk claimed that we had our do not disturb sign on which is completely false since we took it off before 10:00 AM. No one should have to request over and over again. We should be getting what we paid for. Overall the location was good, the rooms are outdated and the bathroom and carpet wasn’t the cleanest but it was spacious. The service definitely could improve.

Decent rooms in a central location. A short walk to many restaurants and attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast is decent and restocked frequently. Each room has a Keurig, microwave, and fridge. There is no working AC in the room, but there is a vent and door to the courtyard that opens.

I would recommend this hotel. It was a lot more than I was expecting for the price. The room was actually basically an apartment with living room and kitchenette.
There were some upkeep issues with the room nothing major, but there was kitchen cabinetry used in the bathroom, which means it has started to warp. There were light switches that seem to do nothing and not be connected to any lights. The coffee maker was not working, and the child protective locks really prevented enjoyment of the Juliet balcony.
The location was great near Chinatown, the University, old town and the pier among other districts. There are some shady, looking streets nearby the hotel, though best to stick to the main street at night.
The breakfast that was offered complementary was nearly buffet sized. Offering toast, bagels, cereals, fruit, yogurt, eggs, a meat variety, baked beans, tea, coffee, and juices. It was much nicer than I was expecting it to be.

Suited us very well for our purpose of attending an event at the Olympic Park complex. Very close by to the park. This is a quiet neighbourhood with not much in the way of amenities or activities, but with the metro nearly right across the street, you can be in any other part of the city extremely quickly.

Parking is a challenge, but if you check any correspondence with the hotel, they forewarn you of this and offer you reasonable options.

The facilities themselves were comfortable and well equipped. Having a fridge, stove and kitchen is always a bonus while travelling.

If I had one complaint it would be that the price was a bit steep. In this case, the bit of extra convenience to our event justified the expense, but overall it would be nice to see a more competitive rate.

I stayed here on a solo vacation about 2 1/2 months ago and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and well put together my room was. Additionally, as mentioned by some of the other reviewers, this guest house is in an excellent location near a metro station, the botanical gardens, and Olympic Village. But perhaps most impressive was the price - it was less than $80/night for me!

I was searching for Airbnb-like accommodations near Olympic Place and found one at a reasonable price. I was thrilled at the idea of staying in an apartment and experiencing life like a local. It turned out to be a heritage building, which was a delightful surprise. Staying in this type of apartment was a unique experience. There's one entrance for approximately three different units. My unit, on the second level, had a few rooms and a kitchen. It felt somewhat like a shared accommodation. Although they mentioned a private bathroom, it was actually located across from our room, which was a bit unexpected. However, it did come with a key, ensuring private bathroom as promised. Parking was challenging, as the road was very narrow and limited to non-residents. We ended up parking at Olympic Place.

Such a lovely apartment I stayed at. Super clean, tidy, and I stress on CLEAN a lot . They offered me a free private safe car parking during my stay.
I was staying there just to spend the night after traveling from Ottawa & the next day I just felt I wana stay another night and so it was ! Highly recommend

The rooms were cleaned and we had lots of space. Unfortunatly, there is little to no insulation in the ceiling.
Every footsteps or conversation can be heard.

I would rate this higher but we barely had any sleep! Do not recommend!!!

Other than this, everything else was fine. Windows in bedrooms are not up to code and tv was a bit small.

We had a great stay. Rooms were spacious and clean. The management was very friendly, and a great location. Many things within walking distance in each direction!

DO NOT BOOK A NIGHT HERE. The entire building was completely filthy, there were mattresses outside in the hallway, and when we arrived in the room, the beds were not cleaned and there was hair found in it. Then we found the pillows completely moldy and yellow.. we had to go sleep somewhere else and the attendant would not refund us. Terrible service and outrageously filthy to let guests sleep in. (See images below for proof of the filth). As well for safety, the locks were not strong and could be easily opened without the key provided.

DO NOT BOOK. Seriously.

Nasty place, see the pictures. No customer service. When we asked for a refund/solution we were given none except for « new pillows »… I tried to explain that we just lost trust in this hotel and that it would not change anything but we were then told to « go write a review » and left hanging. We had to leave, finding us in the middle of montreal with nowhere to go at 9pm.

Save yourself time, energy and frustration and avoid that place.

Had a 5 day stay in 2023, enjoyed every minute of it. It's definitely a good stay if you are on the younger side as it can get loud on the weekends. The manager even let me pick my own room,

This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had.
I wish I could give this place zero stars—it doesn’t even deserve one.
The room was filthy—stains on the sheets, hair in the bathroom, and dust everywhere.
The entire place smelled like mold The bed was like sleeping on rocks.
Save yourself the frustration and stay anywhere else.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this dump at all costs.

In general, the room was nice and clean. Only one problem with the design is putting the kitchen next to the bed is not a good design for a room.

About service, which was the most that letting m down. I stayed here for a night and have it booked through Expedia.
- First impression was when I came to say hi to the receptionist and asking him to have us check in, he was quite not welcoming (no smile, jump in someone talk, quick speech), was this because I am an Asian? (I noticed that he smile with most white people and explain carefully and slowly just before my turn to check in).
- Second impression was about how they handle problem. There was a power outage happened in the area and our room was in dark. The time was bad that we were about to heat up our meal for dinner. During this incident, no information was proactively informed to our room. In stead, I had to come to the hall to talk to the receptionist 2 times. First time, they said that there was no information about this at the moment số they also have no idea. Second time (after more than an hour) when I approached them again, I noticed a lady who was there to ask if they can provide anything for her reading book in the room before her sleep time (without it, she couldn't have good sleep) and soon enough, it turned in to arguement because they asked her to come to the hall (the only place that still have power) to read her book???? (We're you going to recommend her to sleep there as well??). By far, this was unacceptable and I joined the conversation inform them that they should have protocol in this case to support customers who paid for full service room, not a power outage room. (We have been starving and even though of having cold food; we didn't want to waste what we had in the fridge). They started to blame and argue with m as well, but they couldn't win in this arguement because I was calm and sharing my points about what customers paid and what customers should get. The other receptionist step in and just try to let m express all the disappointment (he and the hotel did not apologize once). I also asked them that why was there 0 call to inform about the incident to our room and that I had to come to the hall 2 times to ask for information, why couldn't they be proactive? (They blamed that there was so many people called them, but by the second time I approach them there was no one busy with call, they played on their computer instead at that moment. So when I pointed this out, they remained silence).
=> 0 compensation from hotel, 0 experience (said that this was our first time dealing with this and we have no idea how to go through), 0 customer service. (The valet on that day also talk to me like I am a little boy as well)

-The 2 small customer service I noticed that were they keep sending message to Expedia to keep me up to date and they let me have my car parking for an extra hour for free (I asked them that I want to pay for it but they said it should be okay for an hour; I was in the middle of something by the time to get back to the hotel). The valet also brought me my phone that I put in the car which was a little bit nice for a moment.

Other than that, Expedia told me that at first, for a few days, they couldn't reach out to this hotel. Once they reached out, the hotel reject any compensation. So, Expedia have to offer $50 (voucher on the app) on their side to us. (But we paid far more than this number a lot).

What an experience that I would have never gone through again.

Although this hotel provides good value, it is lacking on a few fronts.

General room cleanliness could be better. Nooks were left untouched, curtains were definitely not cleaned. Found hair in the bathtub. Tabletops needed a better clean.

Breakfast buffet, for $25 is not worth it.

Elevator situation could be better. Our experience wasn’t as bad as people claim it to be.

Book valet parking in advance. When we showed up (with no parking reservation), they said there was no room and we had to park elsewhere.

If you're seeking budget-friendly accommodations, this place has potential, but there’s room for improvement. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn’t function, which made for a warm and stuffy stay when it was 25 degrees outside the ac needs to work. The bed was a bit hard and lumpy for my liking, and I noticed some minor maintenance issues that could really enhance the experience. With a few updates, this could be a great spot! As it stands, Id explore other options next time, but I truly hope they make those improvements.

We stayed here for five nights and overall our experience was good.
Pros:
- rooftop pool is great. Pool is clean and well kept.
- rooms are very spacious.
- kitchenette in the rooms is great, especially if you have kids.
- close to bus stop and metro station
Cons:
- Be ready to wait a long time for the elevators
- We booked a larger suite as we are a family of five. Pull out couch in our room was not in proper condition for sleep. Mattress of the pull out was extremely old and worn out, and the coils were sticking out. I may as well have booked a smaller room.
- We asked for an extra small mattress for a child, they said they didn't have any.
- Housekeeping didn't really clean unless you left a generous tip every single day... Otherwise they'd kind of just make the beds.

Stayed here over the Labour Day long weekend. The suite itself was a great size and the two main beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the pull-out bed was a major letdown. I had even asked in advance about the mattress, but it was every bit as bad as other reviews suggested—the mattress and springs really need replacing.

A couple of other frustrations: they initially tried to charge me twice for parking (eventually corrected), and the breakfast buffet was honestly the worst part of the stay. At $25.50 per person, there was no coffee, no juice glasses, no syrup, and the only food left was rubbery French toast and bacon. The staff were clearly overwhelmed and couldn’t keep up. It felt like poor value for money.

The location was excellent and the suite itself was nice, but these issues definitely coloured the experience.

Amazing stay in Montreal! The hotel was incredible. They had a computer in the room and provided complimentary water bottles. The croissants were Parisian quality, but the real star was the shower. I took a shower every chance I got—at least three times a day—simply because it was so much fun! The hot water pressure was phenomenal. Truly wonderful.

Great hotel situated in the city really close walking distance to old town. Hotel rooms were clean and very spacious. Very comfy beds, nice bathroom with Dyson hair dryer. The breakfast was a nice way to start our days. Parking is $27 for 24hrs at the convention centre about a block away. Would overall recommend!

We loved our stay here! The staff were so friendly and accommodating (shout out to the gent at the front desk with the cool spirited away tattoo!) The room was clean and spacious, with good soundproofing. The bed was comfortable but on the firm side with plenty of plug ins at the nightstands. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with plenty of perks like the computer and dyson airdryer. The breakfast was simple and enjoyable. A hidden feature is the fountain in the square outside the hotel does a fire show in the evenings it’s a must see we went every night to watch. We have already booked a return stay for our next trip to Montreal.

I had a wonderful stay at Le Dauphin Hotel! The staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating — they even let me check in early, which made my travel day so much easier. The complimentary breakfast was a nice start to the day, and I especially loved that coffee is available 24 hours (a lifesaver for late nights and early mornings!). The only small improvement I’d suggest is adding some hot breakfast options alongside the continental spread, but overall, everything was excellent. I’d definitely stay here again!

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The highlight was definitely the breakfast – a great variety, fresh options, and everything was well-prepared. It was a great way to start the day.

One downside is that there’s no free parking on-site. However, paid parking is available nearby, which was manageable but something to keep in mind if you're driving.

Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I’d consider staying here again, especially for the breakfast!
