Franca and her team were absolutely incredible from beginning to end. The photos and videos of our wedding were breathtaking (everyone who we show them to is always blown away). Franca and her team display a supreme level of artistic talent and at a very reasonable price point (we felt that we got incredible value). Franca seamlessly captured every moment (and was equally at ease providing direction to conjure the very art that she envisioned from behind the camera). We would recommend Franca to anyone who wants a photographer who can capture every moment in the best possible light and who will provide you with an unparalleled finished product that will put a smile on your face for years to come.

My husband and I had the opportunity to have Franca and her team photograph and videograph our May 2024 wedding. The pictures were absolutely breathtaking and the video portrayed our day beautifully. We felt comfortable throughout the whole day, her team was great guiding us and making sure everything went smoothly. She also captured our engagement shoot. We will definitely be recommending Franca and her team to all our friends and family and will continue to use her for all our milestones to come!

PUNCTUALITY: Our photography team definitely respected the time line that was supplied to them and made sure to execute every detail given!
From arriving to the grooms house first thing in the morning….to moving to the brides house….arriving to the church… to (Mr.Rosario) last minute change on the locations of the pictures and all the way back to the reception hall.

Professionalism:(Rosario), (Ramos) and the one and only (Lucas)…. Wow, when I tell you these 3 gentlemen have class act and such dedication in what they do, words cannot express the gratitude I have for them!
Patience, dedicated, motivated, hard working and so damn fun to work with!! Not one second with them felt like they were working! You literally see the beautiful side of these three men enjoying every second behind the camera wow….

As a DJ/Mc I speak on behalf of a lot of vendors when I say this and being very critical when I speak… on behalf of the both of us our wedding was a fairytale… and till today we both wished we could relive this day just one more time!

Franca and her team are amazing!! From the very beginning Franca was so organized and professional. We did our engagement shoot and wedding photos/videos with her and her team. The photos were absolutely stunning and her team was so helpful the day of the wedding at making sure the timeline of the day flowed smoothly and making sure as a bride and groom you feel calm and taken care of. I highly recommend going with them for your next event!

Best place for pastry and who makes cake... Staff are very helpful and friendly... They are awesome... The reason I give 4 stars is price is somehow expensive...... other everything is good.. love this place

They have a wide selection of Wilton products and everything else you’re looking for when it comes to pastry. They have 2 floors of products to discover, but I’m giving it 3-stars due to poor customer service. The people there (apart from 1 older woman who was respectful and friendly) don’t look happy or appear annoyed to serve customers.

We called for a 14" tall cake box, mentioned multiple time we needed a 14" tall, the lady said shed get a delivery today and call us for pick up. She called us back and we made sure to say it was for the 14" tall box and she said yes. We get there and she says 14" tall doesnt exist and says there was miscommunication.... no sorry no discount nothing.. very bad service, sucks we still had to get what they had, i would have prefer not to buy anything.

Great store for the novice pastry maker. Has everything you need in terms of pastry molds and supplies for your kitchen. Some prices are a bit high but they are very good quality and will last.

Very bad customer service. The lady who attends was furious only because I asked her permission to use the bathroom. I drove for 40 minutes to get there, there is no coffee shop nearby. They continue to use the covid to not provide the bathroom, but the covid does not prevent them from opening the business and receiving money from customers. The lady got very angry and also yelled at her employee.

Four of us went for drinks. They only had one kind of beer, bottles of hard alcohol like Fireball on display but they didn't have any. Then when it came time to get change, they miraculously didn't have any and if we wanted any, we'd have to wait while someone was sent for some. That was told to two of us at different times. We will not got back for over priced drinks, bad service, lack of product and no change. Great way for servers to get extra tips from customers though. On a positive note, music was good as is the location. Definitely don't recommend this place.

could not have asked for a better experience. first club i have ever been to and it was the best. the manager kept making sure that we were having a good time. music was amazing, drinks were amazing, vibes were amazing. this is the best night ever.

Unlike many clubs in mtl, this place actually has a fairly big dance floor. Which is nice for a change!!

Absolutely terrible experience. I went to this club with some friends last night, and I was shocked by how bad the service was. The prices are outrageous—completely unjustifiable for what you get. But the worst part? The bartender was incredibly rude and refused to let me pay unless I added a 20% tip. That’s not just unprofessional, it’s illegal. You don’t get to force people to tip, especially when your attitude is garbage and the service is worse. I will never be coming back, and I’ll make sure others know to stay far away from this place.

I had the pleasure of celebrating a bachelorette party at Francesco Club in Montreal on Saturday, August 24, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodated.

Our bottle service attendant, Alessia, was outstanding. She was incredibly attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the night. Her genuine enthusiasm and knack for capturing perfect moments with our group made the evening even more special. We had a blast laughing, dancing, and enjoying the vibrant music and atmosphere that Francesco Club offers.

The respect and professionalism extended by the bouncers at the door set a positive tone for the night. Theo and Tata, the bus boys, were consistently on top of their game, making sure that our glasses and shot glasses were always clean and our needs were met without us ever having to ask.

A special mention goes to Boris, the manager on duty, who truly made the night unforgettable. He went out of his way to arrange a special moment for the bride with the DJ, adding a memorable touch that was the cherry on top of an already perfect evening.

Thank you to the incredible staff, the DJ, and everyone involved in making our night so remarkable. We left with fantastic memories and a strong desire to return. Francesco Club is a top-notch venue that earns a 100/10 from us. We highly recommend it for any celebration or night out!

I spat out the party sandwiches ( tuna had a weird taste and was very dry). The single cabbage roll required a steak knife to cut exposing a meatpie filling consistency and would have been welcomed if the same flavour was there; it was also emerged in an pool of orange water. I called to say that there might be something wrong with the sandwiches only to be told that I should have asked for more Mayonnaise. FYI: the customer service was excellent.

I just had the chopped liver. They changed something, it has a gritty thinner taste. But the worst part was the taste, it was like a mouthful of salt vile The onions were even worse. And i feel a little sick

Meat Cabbage rolls are very good as long as they provide enough juice. I also like their party sandwiches which I order specifically with only white bread, egg and tuna with EXTRA mayo.

Look, I don't make a habit out of buying ready-made food here. Why, you ask? It's expensive.
If you are prepared to spend, the good is good.
I only purchase their soup. Especially their cabbage soup. It's often too sweet, but if you add some sour salt or lemon juice when heating it up, it's much better. But that is a personal choice. Try it, you will probably like it. I have never bought a container of soup I didn't like. But I haven't tried them all. They do have a good selection.

Very disappointing They were selling mock chicken and calling it stuffed chicken. The turkey loaf was dry, the artichoke salad was vinegary. High prices.

Fulko Films surpassed my expectations! The quality of photos and videos produced were stunning. Would recommend and use again 100%.

As the mother of the bride, I came to this shop expecting a joyful, once-in-a-lifetime experience for my daughter. Sadly, it was not.

The dress selection was limited to small sample sizes, which made my daughter feel uncomfortable and offered minimal choice. Instead of celebrating her, the owner was judgy and made no effort to create a supportive or inclusive environment. Watching the bride's excitement fade into self-consciousness was heartbreaking.

In addition, the hospitality was nearly nonexistent. When we finally asked for water, a single bottle at room temperature was handed to us — as if two people could share. It felt dismissive and unwelcoming.

This day should have been filled with excitement, support, and celebration. Instead, it was rushed, impersonal, and left us feeling like an inconvenience. I would not recommend this shop to any bride who wants to feel valued, beautiful, and celebrated.

I had the pleasure of buying my wedding dress from Galleria Della Sposa in October 2021 for my June 2022 wedding. I did have other appointments lined up but ended up canceling them because I found my dream dress at my first stop, Galleria Della Sposa. Not only are all of the dresses absolutely gorgeous, they are also really comfortable. Emanuele, Josie and the entire Della Sposa team were so nice and helpful. I had a few alterations done by the Della Sposa team as well and they made sure that I was 100% happy with everything and their attention to detail was very much appreciated. I had an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, the team listened closely to my vision, patiently guided me through different styles, and helped me find the perfect dress that made me feel truly beautiful on my wedding day. I made this reservation for our trip to Montreal, wanting to ensure we had some good French cuisine. While I wasn't disappointed, we did walk into another place that was better. However, with that said, Gaspar had the most amazing Octopus appetizer I think I've ever had (and I've tried plenty of Octopus dishes!). The grilled meat was sandwiched between "salad" and had a black garlic sauce that was to die for! For dinner, my partner had the braised beef and I had grilled salmon. Both were excellent.

We came here for brunch and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The latte didn’t have any nice art and the taste was bland. The food presentation was not appealing, and the flavors didn’t deliver either. With so many great brunch spots in Montreal, this one really falls short.

The food was delicious but the kitchen seemed to get a number of steak orders incorrect watching the room. Don't hesitate to ask them to correct, they did so promptly. Limited menu but was very good. All was reasonable in price. The selection of in-house cocktails was intriguing. I would go back again.

We enjoyed our visit. Our server was friendly and attentive, and our favorite dish was the tuna tartare! While the steak we ordered medium rare was cooked closer to medium, we didn't want to interrupt our meal by sending it back. The sea bass was also very tasty, but the salmon could have used more flavor. For dessert, the crème brûlée had great flavor, but the consistency was a bit too runny. Overall, we had a good experience and would visit again.

This review is almost a year overdue, but I found the card in my desk and wanted to make sure I gave Marguerite her credit if she still works here! My husband and I drove up to Montreal for the day and had a wonderful meal here to celebrate our anniversary. She and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful, we had a beautiful meal. The food was delicious and flawless, we took home leftovers that we enjoyed just as much the next day. Whenever we are in Montreal next we will definitely be back!

Ilana is very talented. She took the time to go over the options for a custom cake with me. The end result was gorgeous AND delicious. Highly recommended for any occasion you want to celebrate!

I had an amazing experience at Gaudi thanks to Sergio and Mika. Sergio was incredibly professional, attentive, and truly made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. He has a natural way of making you feel taken care of, and his knowledge really stood out...and then there’s Mika(: what an absolute gem. She’s not just helpful and professional, but she brings this warmth and charm that makes the whole place brighter. Honestly, Mika is just a doll. Interacting with her felt effortless and fun; she has this way of making you smile without even trying. I had a fantastic experience at Gaudi men's clothing shop! I went looking for a reasonable priced navy suit for a wedding . The sales staff found the perfect suit for me. The colour, fit, price and a shirt made a perfect match. Last weekend was the event and I received many compliments on my attire. We used Gentile for our mother's funeral in January. The service, attention to detail as well as the food was fabulous. We used them again for a backyard reception in July. The food was delicious, the service was timely, courteous and extremely professional. 3 friends have used them as a result of these events. I would use Gentile again for any event we will host.

The Gentile staff arranged a wonderful reception for my mother's "celebration of life". The venue was the perfect size, and very well laid out, allowing guests to mingle.
The food was excellent and the gentleman serving us did a wonderful job making sure people felt welcome.

The passing of our dear mother, was extremly difficult for my siblings and myself, along with her sisters in law's and brother in law and all her nieces and nephews and friends. I know that she would have been very happy to see us all together reminiscing. We gathered for a special meal in her honor, that Gentile Venues and catering prepared for us. It was absolutely amazing. Special thanks to everyone at Gentile Venues. Many thanks to Josette,who helped with the planning and our waiter, Pierre for their outstanding work.

We had our wedding at Rooftop Le Un. It is truly a wonderful venue. The staff, service and food are all top notch. I would highly recommend. Also, Justin is a big star!!

Used them for a funeral, had no choice as they have a exclusive contract with funeral home...very very expensive for what you get. food was just ok but very small portions. Felt like we got taken advantage in a vulnerable situation. will not use them again for sure. The server however was nice and efficient so i give him 1 star.

I bought a wedding dress second-hand and was lucky to find Gigi well before my wedding date! She gets busy fast so I felt lucky to have her as my seamstress. Gigi truly specializes in wedding dresses and did an incredible job making a good amount of modifications to my dress including the bustle, removing skirt bulk, hemming, adjustments and lace details. Despite all these changes, my dress fit great and was easy to carry around to various locations including the beach, forest and many stairs!

She also had very reasonable pricing and a great turnaround time, and was a lot of fun to chat with throughout the process.

Gigi was able to alter my vintage wedding dress from a size 6 to a size 2, and it fit like an absolute dream and looked perfect! Her attention to detail and incredible talent truly brought the dress to life. I recently got my wedding photos back, and I’m still blown away by how amazing the dress looked. Everyone complimented it! I couldn’t be more grateful for Gigi’s work. Highly recommend her for any bridal alterations!!!

She absolutely did an amazing job with my Sophia Tolli dress. I ordered my dress 2 sizes bigger because I thought I would gain weight during the planning process. I didn’t gain weight, and needed my very intricately designed dress altered to fit. Gigi paid attention to every little detail, and the dress turned out perfect. I live in a northern community so I barely made it to Montreal, but she was so flexible about scheduling fittings.

GIGI, GIGI, GIGI, WHERE CAN I START 🩷
I gained weight due to health problems before my wedding & it was a really stressful time for me. I knew my dress would have to be altered, in a short amount of time as well.
I brought my dress to Gigi and her amazing coworker. First of all they did not shame me for gaining weight, they got straight to work on solutions to make my dress fit.
Second of all I had an extremely long train that I wanted removed but would also affect the look of my dress if not done right.
Gigi saved my dress, and made me even like it more. She fixed the closure to make it close, and hemmed my skirt just enough to still give me a small train.
The bonus: she calls your mom for you because she knows you want your moms opinion, she gave advice on how to tape your dress & body to make it look good on you & took pictures of me at my final fitting. I could not have gone to anyone else, with as much skill as Gigi and her coworker. I have many many many friends whom have been recently married, and for the insane amount of work she had for my dress with a tight time line, her price was excellent. Save yourself the trouble of looking elsewhere on google & just go see Gigi.

Gigi really knows her stuff! She hemmed my bridesmaid dress perfectly in a very timely manner and was very welcoming and agreable. I was able to feel very confident in my dress and got lots of compliments! I absolutely recommend her services!

My wife and I are so glad we stayed at the Gingerbread Manor for 3 nights in Montreal. The home is historic and charming and was a nice change from the typical hotel. It’s in a great walkable neighborhood near parks and many restaurants. Most tourist attractions such as Old Montreal, Mount Royal, and Montreal Botanical Garden are within walking distance or easily reached by taxis or public transportation. The hosts at the Gingerbread Manor are very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. Breakfast varied each morning and was always excellent. The hosts offered advice on nearby restaurants and enthusiastically looked up some possibilities during breakfast. We ended up going to a very nice French bistro within walking distance for dinner. We would not hesitate to stay at Gingerbread Manor again on our next visit to Montreal!

I had a wonderful two night stay at the gingerbread manor. The location was perfect to be able to access all aspects of the old city of Montreal. Although I did not use the metro, they are very close to it. The room and bathroom were spotless and exactly as described. Check in was simple and communication was extremely clear. Yves and Ephraim were wonderful hosts The breakfast was delicious and there were many options beyond the entree. They were happy to provide information as needed. Everything in the house is clearly marked in multiple languages and AC keeps it comfy. There are many nice touches to make it feel like home. I can’t imagine staying in a big corporate hotel when you can stay in a historic home with lovely hosts.

Absolutely loved my stay at this BnB! The house itself is beautiful and it is in a lovely neighborhood , right beside a nice park. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and very close to entertainment like the orchestra which is what I was there for. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful as this was my first time in Montreal. Breakfast was delicious and I looked forward to it every morning, it was also fun to meet and chat with the other guests during breakfast. My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Definitely will be booking here again if I get a chance to return to Montreal!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Gingerbread Manor! The hosts were very kind and accommodating. They are pleasant to talk to. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is a good walk to Downtown Montreal and Chinatown. We would definitely return and highly recommend that you stay here.

After staying at the Gingerbread Manor, I feel the quality of my stay didn't match the mostly 5-star reviews I saw on Google.

The Frontenac room was large, clean and comfortable. I was hesitant about sharing a bathroom with other guests but generally, it rarely posed an issue. However, the ceiling creaked quite heavily and regularly, with the upstairs guests' every footstep. It was pretty loud and disruptive. I had to sleep with earplugs every night.

The breakfasts were fairly disappointing. The prepared food was stingily portioned and pretty greasy. For example, they served what they called a Spanish "torta"(I think they meant Spanish tortilla) The egg was severely overcooked while the potato was almost raw. There were other food options like yogurt and cereal to supplement the disappointing hot breakfast but the reason I stay at bed and breakfasts is to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal. This place just missed the mark for me.

My final disappointment was with the B&B owners. Initially, I found their demeanor pleasantly quirky but it soon became overbearing and invasive. Some of the comments and jokes made by the owners at breakfast could be condescending or inappropriate. For example, they talked negatively about other guests staying at the B&B. And some of their jokes I felt were of poor taste and made myself and other guests feel uncomfortable. Overall, I felt there was a general lack of maturity and professionalism. The staff could benefit from some basic hospitality training.

I organized a party last weekend for 26 guests, using the services of caterer Gisèle Gauthier. The gathering was intended as an opportunity for the participants to reconnect several decades after their collective graduation. The meal was therefore incidental and not the center of attention.
Several aspects led me to give Gisèle Gauthier five stars. In chronological order, the first is the expertise they brought to my planning. We were undecided between a cocktail reception and a buffet meal, and Aurélie was able to guide me well based on the objectives I wanted to achieve. She was also flexible in adjusting their menu offerings to our specific needs. They were patient since I could only confirm the total number of guests with just a few days' notice before the event.
I then completed the coordination with Éric, who was also very flexible, while striving to enhance the service offering as much as possible without affecting the bill.
Then, during the event, Sébastien provided us with service that exceeded expectations for a buffet. His discretion was matched only by his efficiency, both in terms of service and cutlery collection.
Last but not least, my wife and I were able to sample the two menu choices (chicken with olives and plum-glazed salmon). They were both worthy of a very good restaurant meal. To top it all off, what was left in the chafing dishes was distributed to people in need through a community organization.
Not only did Gisèle Gauthier provide me with the lowest quote (by far) of the three caterers I approached, they exceeded my expectations in terms of quality of service and food. This aspect of our meeting, which was merely incidental, greatly enhanced it. I couldn't ask for more, and that's why I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer.

I stayed with my friend, and we didn't have many expectations when we booked this place.
Rita was absolutely perfect! Her house is not only clean and comfortable, but could model for magazines because of how beautiful it is. The rooms are decorated, Rita is quite the collector and the house has a very special atmosphere!
The breakfasts are hosted on her magical balcony, she makes fantastic food, and even asked us in advance for our preferences and adjusted herself accordingly.
The location is great, and easy to transport to other parts of the city via walking or metro.
To sum up - phenomenal. Would definitely book again.

Rita and Dan were fabulous hosts. They made us feel welcome from the start. Our first morning, Rita brought us our breakfast on their lovely deck surrounded by plants and flowers. I was in disbelief of what great food she prepared. Seriously, I got way more than I thought I could eat but ate it anyway. There was only one other guest that we ate together with while we were there who was traveling for business and had some lovely chats. Rita gave us her suggestion for Montréal bagels and you know answered a few questions we had, but on top of it was very nice and charming to speak with. The rooms were cozy. Ours had a sink in the room and the bathroom was right outside our door. I couldn't hear anyone, the guests were very respectful and quiet. Next winter trip to Montréal I'll definitely book a room again, Rita said she'd help me to get over my ice skating fears :)

Had a great stay with Rita and Dan, who were good hosts. Breakfast was AMAZING! Location was great as well. Saint Henri is the cutest little neighborhood with tons to do, all within walking distance. Be sure to check out Atwater Market.
I stayed in two different rooms throughout my stay. Both were good. The second was a bit more spacious and organized. Both had A/C window units, which was a must in the city heat. The common areas do not have A/C.
The common bathroom is shared between three rooms, which could mean up to six people. There were times when I had to wait, which was inconvenient but not the end of the world.
Would highly recommend Gite L'Imprevu and hope to visit again sometime.

Rita and Dan are very down to earth caring and attentive hosts. The rooms and shared bathroom were kept very clean and Rita and Dan always wanted to make sure you had everything you needed. Breakfast was fantastic every day and eating breakfast and interacting with other guests was a very enjoyable part of the experience. I felt very safe and comfortable all the time and location was excellent. Parking on the street is free out front and we left our car there for the days we stayed and just paid for a 3 day metro pass to get us to everywhere we needed. In addition to breakfast, Rita always made sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. You won't get the care and kindness like this at your standard hotels or air bnbs so we highly recommend.

Rita and Dan are great hosts. It is a pleasure to talk to them and they do their best to help the visitors to enjoy their stays. I was in Montreal for a conference and had a great time at L'imprevu.
Breakfasts are just great! Rooms are very nice and clean and so is the shared bathroom. The have a wonderful garden with an incredible amount of different plants.

A wonderful meeting with Lelly, who was the makeup artist for a friend of mine for her engagement. She offers a variety of packages for the big day (makeup, hair, and even facials before the makeup). You can see that she is passionate about her job and she puts you at ease. I highly recommend her for future brides and grooms. Thank you!!!!
