Decent room with a kitchenette which was nice to have. The continental breakfast was the best perk and our son liked the pool area. Our room was on a “no smoking” floor however our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and when I wiped a something off the floor, was horrified at how disgustingly dirty the carpet is. I assume the stale smell comes from the soft surfaces which likely haven’t been steam cleaned in ages if ever.

I stayed here a month ago with my girlfriend and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The staff was very accommodating when my card got declined, my special requests were followed and they even went above and beyond to fulfill them, breakfast was excellent, pool was clean, and the location makes it easy to walk/metro everywhere. I was able to see almost everything I wanted in 3 nights thanks to the location!

Firstly I must say the hotel staff is amazing !!! They were responsive over phones and emails and of course in person.
The facilities are quite good. And the location is perfect. We walked to Mont Royal and to Old Port.
The continental breakfast was amazing. A great start of the day.
If you are driving a larger vehicle like a SUV, unfortunately these are too big for their parking lot. You can park your car in their unloading zone at the back of the hotel to facilitate your check-in and bringing your luggage in. They will then recommend parking ootions, if you need one.

Amazing hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable Beautyrest mattresses. Even the sofa bed has a great mattress. We enjoyed using the fridge to keep our snacks and drinks. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cutlery. Our kids had very restful sleep in their separate beds and rooms. It's easy to take transit to the old port, or hike to Mount Royal. Love the hospitality of the staff, very responsive with email, replied within minutes to my requests. The rooftop pool is nice to relax in. The breakfast staff is hard working and polite, refilling items nonstop. We love the city of Montreal and we will absolutely stay in this hotel again if we visit again.

This is in a prime spot, just outside the old town and next to McGill university. This means plenty of eating choices. We booked a high floor for a quiet stay. Parked underneath and agree with other comments that only a compact size car would fit.

I can’t thank Ryndala enough for making our wedding day so magical and unforgettable. Every floral detail from the bouquets to the ceremony arch and reception decor, the candles everywhere were absolutely stunning and beyond what we had imagined.

Ryndala was so attentive, professional, and creative from start to finish. She truly listened to our vision and brought it to life with so much elegance and heart.

Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the floral arrangements and overall decor. Everything was beautifully cohesive, romantic, and full of charm.

Cute little shop for seafood lovers! The owner is passionate and lovely! Love the seafood platter with a mix of everything such as oysters, salmon tartare, salmon gravlax and scallop ceviche. Ingredients are super fresh and tasty!

yum!! very good quality oysters. their salmon tartare was unique and delightful. the chef / owner? was extremely accommodating and clearly has a great love for her work. she made us a mixed platter to respond to each of our seafood cravings while sticking to our price range... and even added a few freebies. I would happily eat there every day if I could!

such fresh quality! i'm so impressed and happy. i got oysters, truffle salmon tartare & tuna tartare & they gave me free salmon gravlax. delicious! i got it on uber eats & the packaging was great. they gave me extra lemon & croutons. honestly, thank you for making my day. i'll come visit. this place is a sure bet, everyone! thanks to everyone who works there. -- oh. and they wrote me a personal hand-written note.❤️so cute.

This seemed like a unique experience while we were visiting Montreal, so we booked tickets online and lots were available the hour before. The lineup was long to get in and be forewarned that they pack you in tightly.

The show itself is unique experience (at times a little creepy) but overall it's a light show. I recommend that if you have not visited the church before this to visit the church without the light show.

People seemed to enjoy it, but for me I would rather just visit the church and see it in the daylight for its beauty.

Good show. Truly enjoyed the experience. At the end of the show, you do get some time to view the Basilica and click pictures.
Also, please note, photo and video are strictly forbidden during the light show.

Beautiful work by The Moment Factory. Very cool artwork of light and sound to create an immersive experience for visitors. Wish it was lighted prior to seating so people could find seats. We found too many people walking around

Awe inspiring. The choreography was amazing. I appreciated that the staff informed everyone to put their phones and cameras aside during the show segment and that people were polite enough to comply. The most beautiful attraction in Montréal!

Loved, Loved, Loved this show. Wasn’t sure what to expect but figured at the very least we’d get to sit in a beautiful church for about an hour while we warmed up in this frigid February evening.

Well, it did not disappoint! We were surprised how busy it was on such an evening - it was very popular with people of all ages!!

The show is not super long and a bit expensive but in the end, after having seen it, I feel it was well worth it!

We can't thank Sadie enough for the absolutely stunning wedding photos! They are beyond gorgeous, and we can't stop looking at them. Sadie captured our love and special moments even better than we ever imagined. We contacted her as soon as her bookings opened for our wedding the following year, and it was one of the best decisions we made!

She has a way of making us feel so comfortable in front of the camera without it feeling posed at all. We love the candid shots that capture real, heartfelt moments. Sadie even made sure my wife’s hair looked perfect in every shot, taking the time to fix it when needed—such a thoughtful touch!

Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she’s also a wonderful person. Her warm personality and attention to detail made the entire experience unforgettable. We will cherish these beautiful memories forever and can’t wait for future photoshoots with her!

Sadie was so wonderful to work with for our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are so happy with our photos. Before meeting with Sadie I viewed pictures from other weddings at our venue which often gave off dark lighting. This wasn’t my preference and I explained that to Sadie when we met. She discussed the ways she’d over come the lighting issue and did a wonderful job capturing it the way I wanted. She also did a great job of making my husband feel more comfortable in front of the camera. We came up with plans for more private spaces and he was pleased with the experience. This Italian steakhouse restaurant is wonderful and cozy. The service is good 👍 and friendly. And the food is exceptional. Especially the steaks 🥩. I had the 160z Kansas bone in strip and it was simply delicious 😋. It was expertly aged, seasoned and cooked perfectly. It melts in your mouth.
The grilled octopus was nice too.
A++ experience here.

In lasalle. Off-the-beaten path of great Italian food. The chefs are wonderful. Wait staff smile at ya!

The restaurant is cozy and has a great ambiance. The service was excellent, the servers were very kind & friendly and our food was served in timely manner. Speaking of the food, we had the 16oz Kansas steak and Aglio e olio pasta, it was fantastic! The meat was juicy and flavourful and the pasta was great, the portions were generous and their homemade bread to go with it was fresh and soft. I will definitely be coming again!

Great steaks and lamp chops may be the best in town. The menu is not big, but the items are very fresh and tasty. The grilled octopus is a must-try. The service is good and the atmosphere is good and could a private room for events.

Per a colleagues recommendatiom, I accompanied some friends to celebrate a birthday at La Campagnola. Upon entry, I loved the atmosphere created by the mini-secluded dining areas which made the night feel more intimate and memorable. The food however, fell short of my expectations, I enjoyed the bread and butter offered as an appetizer, it was fresh and the in-house butter they had was an interesting deviation from the norm. I ordered the parmesan fries as a starter and they lacked a feeling of freshness/crispyness to them. I chose the Pepperoni Pizza as a main and it was above average but didnt really impress me much, it tasted close to what I have had at fast food restaurants, so I was a little dissapointed by this. Despite my gastronomic experience, the service provided by the staff was incredible; they were polite, patient and they made the night an enjoyable experience. I'm not sure if I would go there again, but if I did, it would be for the intimate dining experience(perfect for date nights) and to try a different menu item!

We recently ordered various warm and cold appetizers for a dinner cocktail from La Cena. The chef, Chloe, who came to cook at our house was amazing. It was the first time we hosted a cocktail party without doing the food prep ourselves and I felt so pampered. Chloe made me feel at ease, did all the set up, meal prep, and cleaning; it was the most relaxing party we ever hosted! The food was delightful, the service excellent! All in all, an exceptional experience that is worthwhile repeating for a future event!

My mom, mother and law and I walked into La Creme de la creme boutique on a Saturday morning in search of a mother of the bride and groom dresses. We were immediately greeted by the store associate, Valerie who was so kind, patient, and helpful. She gave insightful feedback, was super encouraging, and never pressured us to purchase anything. There was not a limit of how many gowns they were allowed to try on and we were allowed to take photos. My mom found a beautiful gown and she is so excited to wear it to the wedding. I have been visiting La Cuisine Maison for close to ten years. The staff is amazing, always a smile on their faces. My picky-eater 9-yr-old daughter finally decided she would try the BBQ chicken with roasted potaoes, she couldn't get enough and asked for seconds! We recently signed up to their family meals program, we get three complete meals, ready to be served. What a relief knowing I could feed my family of four with healthy food made with quality ingredients; La Cuisine Maison comes highly recommended!

This florist will forever hold my heart hostage! It is by far the best in Montreal, and I’ve tried a few to say the least. The lady that owns the shop is the sweetest and always knows how to make the most beautiful bouquets. I can’t say how many times I’ve had little tears of joy from their work! This past Saturday, on the day of our youth empowerment gala, we were scrambling to find last-minute floral arrangements. I walked into La Grâce des Fleurs in Laval during the Mother’s Day rush, and Elie, the owner, went above and beyond. He generously lent us two stunning arrangements—worth over $500—without even taking my name, just trusting we’d return them. His kindness and community spirit left a lasting impression. Incredible service from a truly generous soul.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE. Celebrated a wedding here and the barn is so beautiful that not many decorations are needed. The rooms for the bride and groom to get ready in are very large and spacious and there's a lot of parking space behind for guests.

Rustic and authentic taste of the Yamaskan Eastside

The venue is amazing and the local businesses (René michoui and Austin city limitz) were outstanding. The barn is gorgeous and so are the grounds surrounding it.

My only complaint is with the owner. He hovers around and tried to sneak away a good portion of our alchohol. I was warned by the locals of his antics and told not to let him drink as he got into a fight with a groom in the past when he got drunk.

Our experience there was amazing and my wife loved our wedding, just keep an eye out for drunken trouble and you'll be good.

I only went to another bridal boutique before La Jolie Robe to find my wedding dress and from the moment i stepped into Anne-Marie's carefully crafted boutique, I already knew i was going to find my dream dress here. the attention to detail from the staff is absolutely amazing, they just know how to make you feel so special for your special day to come! they're very knowledgeable and are very professional yet approachable. Highly recommended for all your bridal and evening gown needs!

This adorable little boutique made my dreams come true. I felt like royalty on my wedding day and it was all because I found the dress of my dreams and the perfect veil to go with it. The dress came in 4 months after purchasing, so it was a lot quicker than anticipated (6-9 months). The staff was very knowledgeable and it made the whole experience easygoing. I also attended their summer sale for other evening gowns and got some amazing dresses for 15-40$ when these are normally 200-400$. I live in the complete opposite direction but the trip is worth every penny!

We had such a wonderful experience at La Jolie Robe! We found the perfect bridesmaids dress and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. The owner Anna Marie and her staff were incredibly kind, patient, and made us feel so welcome. She really listened to what we were looking for and guided us to the perfect choice. The boutique is beautiful, and the selection is amazing. Highly recommend to any bride or bridal party looking for a stress-free, enjoyable shopping experience!:)

This place is a scam. I booked through Expedia and even though I never stayed there, they still charged me. There is no staff on site – everything is virtual, and when you need help, no one answers. The “service” is nonexistent, the check-in process is frustrating, and they take your money without providing what you paid for.

I strongly warn anyone considering this place: stay away. They will happily take your money and offer you nothing in return.

God awful experience. We were given one incredibly dirty towel to share between two of us for three days (photo attached of what it looked like when we got it). We were also constantly getting locked out of the rooms by a terrible door system. The accommodations were absolutely filthy, especially the bathroom. It was all unbelievably bad.

If you'd like to experience the future of dystopian hostels/hotels, definitely book here.

Overall, this place has potential, and I hope this review does nothing but show the cracks in their foundation so they can improve, because the location is nice and the actual room is decent. But man, the service is terrible, the experience with the bathrooms was awful, and there were so many little things that made me want to find whoever I was talking to on the phone and have a serious sit-down with them. And overall, for them to call themselves a "Bed and Breakfast" is a joke. The "breakfast" that you get from them isn't even cooked; YOU have to order it before 11pm the day prior, and YOU have to cook the damn thing yourself!

From what I deduced, this is just another property to someone that they can lazily manage to get some money out of it, because people WILL pay and WILL ignore the reviews, like I did, allowing whoever owns this place to continue serving an experience that is disappointing and soulless.

Anyways, diving deeper into the experience, my room is right by the street and doesn't have a desk. That's on me, I recognize that. But on your website, include more pictures of your rooms, because there's only one picture for each room and the amenities listed are very general to what's included, stuff that every room has access to. Also, include some sort of map for your property. Sure, this isn't standard practice for hotels, but the reason I looked to this place was because I wanted something quiet and isolated where I could work. So with that said, I wouldn't have chosen this room if I would've known, as there are other rooms on the property that are away from the street.

Furthermore, when I arrived I had to figure out the stupid keypad system to get into places withing the property. There's no staff on site, so you're basically on your own. I ended up having to call their staff, waiting for them to answer, only to be told to try and find this email they sent that was under a different email address from the original email I received from "La Maison De Mile End" (oh yeah, this place goes by 2 names apparently, "Bernard Bed & Breakfast" and "La Maison De Mile End"). And what's the point of staying in a hotel/hostel if you have to do everything?

So after 10-20 minutes of going through their tedious check-in process, while I'm tired and cold, I finally get in but I'm struggling to find my room. Well, I have to go back to my email for all the details on finding my room, which it turns out is downstairs. And yes, while the information is in the email, how much more energy do I have to put into this thing when I should realistically just have to show up be checked-in by someone and be shown my room or at least told, in-person, where it is. Which leads me to another point.

I mentioned how the bathrooms were terrible as well. Well I show up, again it's late and I'm cold and tired, and the trash can in the restrooms looks like it's been rummaged through or something because there's toilet paper on the ground and it's lid is taken off. Also, the bath mat for the shower is soaking wet. This is where having someone on staff would've been great, because guess who ended up picking that stuff up, me. And then after that, I do my business on the toilet and I go to flush, and there's no water in the tank so nothing flushes. And I used the toilet upstairs this morning (3/15/25) as well and same thing. I ended up taking out the trash bag of the kitchen recycling bin, filling it with water, and flushing the toilet that way. But that's unacceptable; no stay should ever have a guest do that. Also, the bathtub looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages, the shower curtain is all crusty. Anyways, I'm running out of room, but you get the gist. For the price I paid, my experience was unacceptable. Sorry if some of the pics and vids are gross, but that's the honest situation. Best of luck to whoever is running this place; I hope they can come to understand the gift that is serving others and taking pride in what they do.

Even if they promissed to give me back the +100$ they asked me to deposit, they never did. It’s been 3 months since. You can't even communicate with after your stay, because communication is restricted in a page they sent once you pay.

Extremely Disappointing Stay at La Maison Du Mile-End

I stayed at La Maison Du Mile-End for 3 nights, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. Several issues need to be addressed:

No Front Desk: There is no front desk or clear point of contact for guests, making communication nearly impossible.

Hidden Fees: Unexpected cleaning fees were charged that were not shown during the booking process. (They charge but deliver as the attached pics)

Poor Communication: I sent 5 emails addressing various concerns and only received one response. No useful solutions were provided for any of the issues.

Dirty Shared Bathroom: The shared bathroom was extremely dirty, with hair everywhere and no soap. It was unacceptable. (attached pictures)

No Breakfast Information: Although breakfast is supposedly offered, I never received any as they failed to explain how to request it through their app.

Bugs in the Room: I saw a cockroach (or a similar bug) in my room, which made the stay even worse.

I mentioned all of the above issues via several emails, but no helpful response was given. Overall, this was a terrible stay, and I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone.

From the beginning, the space radiated warmth, energy, and authenticity — and that hasn’t changed one bit.

The activities on offer are fantastic. Whether it's yoga, pilates or crossfit, there's something for everyone.

It’s a place where good vibes and genuine connections thrive. There's always laughter, positive energy, and of course, great coffee. It’s become my go-to spot not just to move, but to meet and connect with great people.

I recently attended a paint & coffee event at Maison Flow, and I can’t recommend it enough! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the experience truly enjoyable. Everyone, from the organizers to the participants, was friendly and supportive. Plus, the coffee served was delicious, the perfect boost for creativity during the painting session. It’s an experience I’d happily repeat!

I LOVED MY TIME AT LA MAISON FLOW! It was my first time ever going here, I did pilates+brunch and from the moment I entered to when I left, it was a 5 star experience. The work out itself almost killed me but in all the good ways, and the food was a 10/10. The team makes everyone feel like family and included. 100% recommend and 100% will go back!

It’s surprising that after so many years living in Montreal, I had never heard of this restaurant until now. It’s a very classic spot with traditional Franco-Québécois cuisine. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was excellent (definitely 5 stars), and the parking was convenient.

That said, I do have a few small notes: the soup was a bit too sweet for my taste, and while the sourdough bread was absolutely delicious, we had to ask for it three times and finally received it about 20 minutes later, and it wasn’t complimentary. The ketchup for the French fries also took another 20 minutes to arrive.

Other than that, everything was great—very much worth the visit.

Atmosphere: Cosy cabin like atmosphere. We got seated upstairs which is a high ceiling room (attic). Downstairs main room is a natural wood space.

Service: Service is fine. Email or Reservations taken care of very quickly.

Food: I always go for the tasting menu which is about 4-5 courses priced reasonably. This is one of the few spots that does a nice fois gras in it's true form and one reason I would choose this place. Appetizers are always interesting and this time was a leek dish which was mind blowing. Main is always something different than you would find at restaurants and I'm open to new game (meats). Dessert they have a lot of stuff that I want to try outside of what is included in the menu but its not just a slice of cake, very well presented.

Being in the West Island, it's a hidden gem.

Rating 5/5 for value and taste and service.
Note: Downtown has a lot of restaurants that would be 5/5 but prices are a good 50%+ more. Keep that in mind.

We hosted our daughter's baptism at La Maison Verte. We were a group of 32 people. Everything was perfect and it exceeded all our expectations. Our guests were pleased with the food, atmosphere and service. We had our own private dining area.

I Will definitely Come back to try their menu.

This Family-owned restaurant has been in the heart of Pierrefonds for many years now.
In the summer, the best place to be is on the terrace where you can enjoy the view of Rivière Des Prairies.
The dishes are always exquisite, tasty and fresh. Love the crème brûlée! My favourite dessert! Friendly staff and attentive owner.

A must: the homemade smoke salmon.

La Marguerite's reputation is well earned and deserved. They catered my daughter's wedding of 300 guests last week and they executed the event flawlessly from the initial consultations to the menu planning to the event itself.
We received so many compliments on every aspect of the catering. The staff were very attentive to even the smallest requests and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

The absolute best kosher caterer in Montreal! They catered our wedding and we would have them do it over again. Delicious food, beautiful presentation, professional and courteous staff - a stress-free process from beginning to end.

Update October 2024: they have renovated the space completely. They now have a great selection of take-out and of course, their signature desserts and lots of interesting products from across the world. It’s gourmet and foodie heaven.

Fantastic take out kosher food before Shabbat. They have great sushi at a reasonable price. Their foods and salads are expensive, but well worth it. I would recommend going early as the food clears out fast.
