Working with Melissa to make my dream dress was an unforgettable experience. She is so talented and brought my exact vision to life through countless conversations and fittings it was absolutely perfect! She makes the process feel so easy and stress free with her calming demeanour. I would recommend Melissa a million times as she will truly work with you to make sure you look amazing on your wedding day!

Best part was that Melissa allowed me creative liberties in the design of my reception party wedding dress. I came to her with a concept (some pinterest images and inspiring silhouette) and she helped guide me through it until it was perfect! We even added pearl beaded arm puffs for some drama. She has an eye for detail and is very professional. During the process of making the dress, we saw each other over 3 fittings and she was positive and receptive to my comments and demands. She was extremely patient with me, as I am a very detailed person. Extremely happy with this dress and I recommend MELISSA as a couture expert!

Melissa is one of the best people I got to work with for my wedding preparations! She is a wonderful, creative, and very skilled person. She was very helpful and full of inspiration through the entire process.
We worked together, starting obviously with the planning. She was able to take all of the individual things I liked from many different photos and combine them into one perfect dress for me. Shortly after getting the dress figured out I was forced to postpone the wedding for 2 years because of covid and each time we contacted her she was very understanding of the situation and was able to accommodate the late delivery of the dress.
Once everything was back on schedule I had my first fitting and found that I didn't like one of the materials that I had chosen and Melissa was amazing at saying "no problem" and we chose a new material that was exactly what I wanted! She made absolutely sure I loved the dress. The final fitting was done just before the wedding to make sure that it fit perfectly. One more note, the quality of the materials that we chose and the quality of the dress in the end was more than I could have hoped for. I highly recommend Melissa for any dress that you want to have made!

Mely did my hair at my wedding day , she did very well for trial but at my wedding day she was so stressed, she didn't do my hair the model i wanted and she had a difficultly to put the tiara and she answered so disrespectful, i booked her until 12pm and she said she needs to leave because she has another appointment, so disappointed for her service and price that i paid for her, never I'm not going to try her, i found she needs more experience for bride

The rooms are nice and spacious however we would have liked a change of towels during our stay. Whenever we took a shower, the water would soak the bathmat as there is no door.
There was one guy at Reception that was extremely friendly and helpful. He worked the morning of Friday, September 26th and we wanted to mention how fantastic he was.

The room was spacious, clean and had all the needed amenities, even to do laundry! We got parking in an underground garage which seemed very safe and in general the hotel is very close to touristy places and looks like in a safe neighbourhood ❤️ loved everything about this place!

Had a fantastic stay. Very large and spacious apartment and rooms. We lucked out and got underground parking which was so appreciated during all of the snows. Front desk folks were between decent to superb in their service. Abdel (sorry if I’ve got his name wrong) on the last day was especially superb. We had someone come in and tidy the apartment on one of the four days which was really nice to have. Fantastic value. Didn’t realize how close we were to Old Port till we started walking about. IGA 30s away was particularly helpful and nice too.

Do not bring your car here. The staffs were nice but the parking situation was bad. My car was stolen parking in their reserved spot, and they are tried to cancel my reservation when I actually slept there so it seems like I did not stay there, they are not responsible for it. No security cameras in their parking lot.

Unfortunately, my wife had to be in Montreal for Mother’s Day. I called the florist and requested a bouquet to be sent to her room. I was thoroughly impressed by their professional and courteous communication, as well as the outstanding bouquet they left for my wife. I highly recommend them for any occasion.

Purchased a single flower on my trip this past weekend. It's nice to come home with a memory of my stay with something that should last a long time. The larger decor can certainly be a centerpiece that lasts a long time while looking real and classy. I don't often leave reviews, however, I had an exceptional experience at this salon. I have been searching for a salon who knew how to cut my biracial hair and it looks like I found it. They took the time to cut each individual curl and treated me like royalty. You know it's a great curly cut when you wash and style it yourself and it looks just as good as when you left the salon. Believe it or not, I only spoke to Michael a week before our wedding because we had a problem with our supplier. He was very professional. I told him all our requests & he was so easy to deal with. He even came to our wedding rehearsal to be more familiarized with the place. I was so stressed but he reassured me that I don’t have to worry about the flower arrangements & decorations. Very bad experience with Mille et Une for my cousin's wedding. For a company that is supposed to offer complete coordination of the big day, the service I received as a bridesmaid was very unsatisfactory. Several shortcomings on their part meant that we (the bridal party, including me, and even my partner) had to take on responsibilities that should have been the responsibility of the hired team (technical problems, service provider management, guest management, etc.). In addition to subjecting us to a workload and preventing us from fully enjoying the celebrations, the team often responded very unpleasantly to our questions with curt and sometimes simply incorrect answers to cover up their inefficiency. A lot of lack of professionalism, lack of respect, lack of consideration, lack of accountability and deflecting blame onto others which added a lot of stress to the bride and her entourage. Very disappointing experience and left a feeling of "being had/trapped", as the service I witnessed was the complete opposite of the service promoted in the company's reviews and promotional videos that I had seen before the wedding planning began.

The Mille et Une team perfectly met our expectations. Christina and Aurélie guided us, both in terms of venue selection, vendor selection and negotiations, and the final visual presentation of our wedding.
In addition to being naturally friendly, they combine rigor and tight organization to ensure that wedding planning went smoothly month after month. The coordination of the big day wouldn't have been the same without them, especially with the many unforeseen events that popped up at the last minute.
We were able to fully experience our moment thanks to these outstanding wedding planners.

Worse experience I’ve ever had. The saleslady was very rude to me and my friend. She screamed at us and very aggressive. She was screaming even they have other customers. What they want it’s just money even though the dress is not good for you they will tell you it’s good. The price was very expensive for the dress/gown they sells. No professionalism and no respect. I spoked to them very nice, if I can just échange the gown but they did not accept. They did not explain to me that there is no exchange and return. It’s not even on the receipt. And the sales lady took my receipt today and went in front to put a stamp on the receipt ( final sale ). Why did she even do that? Which is they did not put at the first place and explain it to me. I don’t recommended this place just go to other place to buy a dress/gown. I will just pray for them.

August 20, 2023 - We visiting Miradore Couture to look at some Bridal and bridesmaid dresses. The service was AMAZING, funny, patient, understanding, comprehensive, no judgement. Honestly, please make sure to go and visit them. We found everything we were looking for to a very reasonable price!

I went there without an appointment to try wedding gowns. The consultant took her time to show me the dresses. She was very patient and caring. I didn't end up buying a dress but I really appreciated their time and kindness.

Attended a bridal shower event where the food was catered by Miss Prêt a Manger and it was beyond incredible! Truly loved the packages it arrived in and the food itself was delicious whether it was the shrimp tagine with peppers preserved with lemons +couscous (for me) while others had grilled organic salmon with market veggies+ vierge sauce as well as organic turkey meatballs, creamy white mushroom sauce, white wine and shallots+ mashed potatoes! We truly loved the food and the mashed potatoes were an instant hit with the entire group :) Would love to try Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Stuffed Peppers next time and I know for any future catering events I will be going to Miss Prêt a Manger! Very professional and well organized service ❤️

Amazing service! We ordered catering for a corporate event and there was a mix up with dates - it was taken care of immediately. The food was very good but I do wish the yogurt cups had come with honey or something to sweeten them, as plain Greek yogurt with granola is a bit bitter. The frittatas were also very good, but somewhat lacked in seasoning. The baked goods were amazing though, as were the fruit & cheese platters.

MPAM was our caterer for our wedding, and I have nothing but praise for her. Kim herself (the owner) is this amazing ball or energy and good vibes, and she was really great in working with us to create a menu that was 100% vegetarian (only eggs and dairy), and that also had quite a few nut restrictions due to two of our guests being allergic to pretty much all nuts. Her staff was also fantastic, they were energetic and generally fun to be around. And the food was absolutely delicious!

Ordered from the Cold section of a-La-carte for a work lunch - grilled salmon, triple A beef with Parmesan and balsamic, charcuterie and variety of salads- everything was fresh and tasted great! The ordering process was easy, the Food was delivered on time and the team enjoyed everything. Highly recommend and will use again for work events

Miss Pret a Manger did a fabulous job, once again, of organising, preparing and delivering a lunch for over 20 people. I had vegans, vegetarians, gluten free, food allergies etc. and they managed to get every lunch perfect. Not only is the food quality very high (i.e. organic chicken) it is very tasty. Our out of town guests remarked on how delicious the lunches were. We ordered the Gourmet Lunch Boxes which come with two salads (one green, one chef's choice and the chef picked different salads depending on the sandwich), a sandwich and a desert. The price is very reasonable. The delivered right on time and even helped me setup the lunchboxes. And to top it all off - the packaging is all compostable - yes including the cutlery. My guests were very impressed and many people brought their packaging home to compost it themselves. I really could not have asked for more. (I used them at least 6 times pre-covid when I was at another company. The hot meals are also very generous and amazingly tasty).

Did I forget to mention, they can react very quickly if you have a last minute need...just be prepared to select from the standard menu and be clear in your needs, then sign the authorisation for payment - and you would be surprised how quickly they can help you!!

Not only was Plink an outstanding DJ and incredible MC who kept the energy alive from start to finish, but we also had the pleasure of working with Larry, who brought the same talent, professionalism, and passion to the night. We hired Dj Plink for our wedding last week and he really made sure the dancefloor was always packed! We had Nasir DJ at our wedding. Initially I was a little worried because I needed someone who can play 4 different languages (Farsi, Russian, Spanish & English). The transition between them was flawless. He listened to what the croud wanted which kept them on the dance floor. We did our ceremony outside and he had all the necessary equipment. From being a DJ at our house parties to a DJ at our wedding, we thank you so much for making this day memorable.

Nasir was an absolute pleasure to work with during our wedding we had last week. We originally met him when he was DJ’ing an event for the McGill Med-Law Faculty party, and he was so good at the event I knew he needed to do our wedding. Fast forward a year later, and he had the entire crowd jumping and moving at our own wedding. He did music for our wedding ceremony, which was very important, and he really did an amazing job MC’ing our reception and playing a mix of classic music for our crowd, being mindful that we had an old crowd coming and they had specific tastes, while making sure the younger crowd had their taste as well. If you are thinking of using Nasir for an important event, don’t think - just do it. His communication was constant, and he is really only concerned with one thing - making your event the best event possible with no holds barred. Thanks so much for a wedding of a life time Nasir!

Amazing DJ! We hired DJ Plink for our wedding and he was a great pleasure to work with! Very service-oriented, responsive, talented and versatile. He created personalized mixes for the sangeet performances that were part of the wedding and they were amazingly done! Our wedding was a Canadian-Indian hybrid in terms of the guests and other elements which could have been challenging for the DJ, but it turns out it wasn't at all! DJ Plink always adapted to the crowd ensuring the dance floor was never empty! He also created a personalized Snapchat filter so our guests could take nice pictures too!

Peter was great to work with as our wedding DJ. He managed the flow of the reception really well and he kept everyone dancing all night long. We got lots of positive comments from guests. They really know the business of weddings!

Peter and Mia were genuinely extraordinary! We were impressed by their professionalism, charisma, and their ability to read and animate a crowd! I really can"t think of any way that Peter could have been a more helpful and talented DJ. From day one, Peter was invested in making our wedding an event that we would remember. And he achieved that goal. Every guest we have spoken to comment on the quality of the music and ambiance of our wedding. What to say about Mia? Her talent is undeniable, as a singer and an MC and we loved her energy as did the crowd. We would recommend them without hesitation. If every we have another event, you can bet we will be calling on Peter and Mia!!

Working with Peter for our wedding was the best decision we made. As a start, Peter is very professional, available, open to suggestions and eager to collaborate (and trust me this is not always the case for wedding providers). He arrived early and very autonomously made sure everything worked well sound wise. He then played music for dinner, a mix of old school jazzy crowd favorites, and everybody loved it. He was on point with the volume, any musical cue we needed and every activity we had planed. But the best, the absolute best and favorite moment of the wedding was the party. Peter rocked an epic party that kept our crowd on the dancefloor until the wee hours! Boys, girls, family members of every age! He was very open to requests and made our guests feel super involved, but mainly played the best hits with great transition. So although we spent tons of money on food, decors and other wedding things, that's all our guests would talk about the next day!!! All that to say, having him turned our wedding into an epic bash we will never forget. Thank you so much Peter, we highly highly highly highly recommend you!!!

We hired mixjockey productions for our wedding in May 2024. From the beginning they where extremely attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions and concerns. The music was impressive considering they played a wide range for all ages, as well as taking guests requests and keeping everyone on the dance floor.

The MC was not shy and extremely dynamic as he encouraged guests participation in all of the games we had planed. Him & the dj worked really well together, you can tell they had many years of experience.

The lighting, fireworks and dry ice we added last minute made the night even that much more magical and we received many compliments from our guests. Also made for some really cool pics.

We highly recommend mixjockey productions to anyone looking for a dj you wont be disappointed. After a year of planning, me and my wife had our dream wedding because of them. A big thank you to the mixjockey team well done!

Excellent service and highly recommend! We had DJ Kirk as Peter was booked already for the day of the wedding. Peter helped us with details and set us up with DJ Kirk who was just as helpful/amazing to work with. They were always responsive and easy to get in touch with. DJ Kirk and persons in charge of the lighting/photo booth were all great. They kept the evening stress free for us as they handled the scheduling of the evening. Kirk even coordinated switching up the schedule for me as I wanted to postpone our first dance to later in the evening the night of. Everything went smoothly and many of the guests complimented us on their services after the wedding and said they had a blast. Thanks again!!

The florist was really nice , and they did a great job normally they were not open on Monday but when I came they were really welcoming and nice 😌 the bouquet came out better than I thought, a must go 👍

Ordered flowers from this place for my girlfriend for Valentine's day. Specifically asked for a large arranged in a vase with mostly roses (8-10) and a few tropical flowers. What I got was a very very small arrangement with 3 roses and a bunch of tulips... IN FEBRUARY... My girlfriend was in shock. Called the owner she said she had no time to make another since it was v day and to simply to find someone else and that she would refund me by the end of the day. Fast forward to today, didn't get a refund and called back and she changed her tone and told me to screw off.... Ended up scrambling to find someone to deliver it the same day. Below you can see the difference between miyas flowers which is a 200$ arrangement and another company's dozen roses (all they had available last minute). Look at the size and the quality. Stay away from this place. A bunch of scammers. Oh and to make matters worse, they spelt my girlfriends name wrong... after spelling it out to them 2 times.

It is a very nice place, the lady who served us was very kind, she helped us choose the bouquet for my mother, I recommend this place

I can recommend booking the place, the host is really really nice and she is flexible with changes and request. The hall is big enough for wedding or biryhday parties. I rented it for my brother’s birthday party and it was amazing, the only problem was that there is no air condition so it was super hot and people where going outside but rather than that the place is ideal for parties as it has no neighbours who can complain for noises. Thank you so much Jackie for hosting us, it was a blast😍

Jacqueline is just amazing. She was flexible and agile and made my experience as least stressful as possible. Here venue is quite nice in the sense that you can transform it to any way you like. On the whole, everything just made sense with Jacqueline and I highly recommend her venue for your gathering with family/friends!

Bought some sweets to celebrate a bday and all was really good, the right sweetness to make it delicious but not to sugary. Loved the cupcakes and the raspberry & pistachio mousse with the crunchy base ..

We order the birthday cakes for my children’s birthdays here year after year. And with good reason! The custom decorations are always exactly as requested, and the cakes are beyond delicious! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Best croissants in Montreal, light and tasty topped with a sweet coating. The birthday cake was pretty but dry inside.

It is the second consecutive year i order a customized kids birthday cake with Mlles Gateaux and each time the result was amazing! great esthetics and very yummy cakes… Not too sweet and buttery, perfect balance of flavors.
This year minions cake was a great success among kids and their parents !

We had the best experience with Mobilochef. Starting from the planning stage 2100 miles away from Socal. We’d had multiple conversations and with their help, we’d reserved a private chef for 1 night and multiple pre-cooked meals for other days.
Pierre came with all our requested food including our Chef’s meals. This turned out to be the best meal of the year. 2 appetizers, entree and dessert. It was the best experience for our family who came in from California and Toronto.
Thank you for the Chef’s meal and our food for several days!

Stopped for lunch at this lovely restaurant. We were greeted by the manager/owner. Lovely man and a great sense of humor.

Got sat by the window and the decor was fabulous.

The waiter was lovely and gave us excellent recommendations. We got the escargout, salad, salmon, and Mac and cheese. Absolutely phenomenal.

The best salmon skin we even had. The cheese on the escargout blew us away. Thank you so much.

Our experience at Modavie Bistro in Montreal was absolutely perfect! The lamb chops are a must-try — cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. For our appetizer, we had the scallops, and they were fantastic as well.

The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better — warm, inviting, and lively. Everything came together for a truly memorable evening.

WOW. this place is amazing! From out of town and was suggested to try this restaurant with live music. We walked in on a weekday evening and was greeted by a friendly host. The restaurant was packed but luckily we got a table on the bar side of the restaurant, where you could still hear the live music from the other side. Our server Buddy was amazing! And the food was delicious! We started the foie gras, garlic snails, and bone marrow. All of them was done to perfection! Our meals we tried rack of lamb and the catch of the day which was the Rainbow Trout. Both was so delicious though we both prefer the rack of lamb. It was definitely an enjoyable experience!! 5* all the way!! Must try!

Our first meal in Montreal, conveniently located right next to our hotel in the heart of downtown on a lively street. We didn’t have a reservation but were seated quickly with a two-hour time limit, likely because it gets busier later with live music. The service and food were both excellent. I didn’t love the lamb rack, even though the waiter recommended it—it just wasn’t my thing. But the steak was fantastic and the portion was generous. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Walked in with no reservation and was immediately sat! The restaurant itself beautiful, very cozy and it was the perfect place to people watch. My drink was delicious, as were the scallops and filet mignon. Everything was cooked to perfection. My waiter was also extremely attentive, he provided the BEST service. I will definitely be returning my next visit to this gorgeous city!
