Wedding Vendors in Montreal

We had a wedding there yesterday. It's really awful, none of the promises made to us were kept, and when we asked for the money back they didn't give it, their kitchen is full of bugs, everywhere is full of bugs, it's disgusting, even if you make a mistake and hire them there, don't let them cook, it's absolutely awful.🤮🤮

In terms of entertainment I'll give it a 10 on 10 five stars.the host was amazing very interactive great show they really had the party going. all around a good time I went here for my work Christmas party. What I didn't like was that it was very hot, the server that served the alcohol was over worked she seemed overwhelmed flustered, slow but I don't blame her for that there was a lot of people they needed more servers or perhaps let let the guest go to the bar I dont know the drinks weren't good either I got a cranberry mixed drink and it had the standard shot amount of alcohol I guess which was fine but in a tall glass of cranberry you couldn't even taste the alcohol I mean it was literally over kill I don't understand why someone would put that much juice in it at least ask, the food was terrible the chicken had a weird grey gravy I'm pretty sure that's what made me throw up.The salmon was tasteless ,the pasta was the best out of all the options the food was lukewarm if they could fix those few things I would definitely go back because the show was great.

Had my wedding there and was the worst experience ever.
Food was awful and although we paid extra for people to be able to drink soft drinks and juices they never served them. I also paid to get a sweet table and they only brought out the food I brought. They never gave me back my center pieces and my cake stands. I also lost my wedding shoes. When I called them to comp’ They told me they would calm me back they never did. I went to get my stuff and they never wanted to help me. If I could give them zero starts that’s what I would choose

I don't do reviews a lot. We had our wedding there and this place to supply food. But the food didn't turned out to be like the one we agreed on. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Their excuse was that the chif was sick that day and the servers cooked (not my problem) I called them and left a voicemail after the wedding but they never returned my calls so I decided to go and see them in person. I waited a long time for the manager. Finaly he came to me and surprisingly he told me that the owner is not allowing him to talk to me and he had to leave me. We didn't even had a talk or argument to end up like that.

Of course we had made full payment a week prior to the wedding so why would he even want to talk to me. In the voicemail I said my name and I asked to talk to the manager for a complain (I guess they are not used to get complaints)

The food problem is minor now. The poor quality management and the disrespect made me experience the worse customer services I got in my life.

That ruined this place's reputation to each of my 144 guests and two of us and of course it worth a share in public.

I don't even know where to begin. Worst food ever. Who ruins PASTA????!!!!! Especially for the price. You can find better halls for that price. Totally disappointed! Besides, who uses punch fountains now a days? It's known to be the filthiest thing to serve from.
The Place is questionable, even a chair broke on someone that night! It would get a 0 star if that existed.

We had our wedding at Le Classique and couldn’t be happier! The team made our big day truly special, the staff were attentive, responsive, and provided excellent service all night.

Everything went so smoothly, and our guests were really impressed. We highly recommend Le Classique if you’re looking for a wedding venue, it’s absolutely worth it!

Le Classique never disappoints! This reception hall always pays attention to the details that make your event feel extra special. The service is seamless, the atmosphere is elegant, and the food is absolutely incredible!! Every time I’ve been here, it’s been an amazing experience. Highly recommend for any event.

The appetizers were great, but the main meal.. I wasn't impressed with the presentation, and it was lacking flavour. Overall, this is a fairly decent reception hall, but the parking lot is VERY small.

This place is a real gem! Plenty of space to eat and dance. Was clean and organized. And on top of that you can choose menu option from their delicious Peruvian food too! I will book again in the future for sure! Kudos to our waiters and the organizer would helped me with alcohol permits and planning. Highly recommend!

All my guests enjoyed the meal! The staff provided personalized service and even helped me plan the event. I was able to celebrate a large party at a reasonable price.

We were looking for places on a short notice to hold reception of our micro-wedding and came across Levant Hall, the owners were extremely kind and accommodating to any questions and/or support we needed. They walked us through everything with patience and provided whatever we needed without hesitation. The reception went really smooth thanks to Hachemi and the help that was present at the venue. The hall is beautiful, the decorations provided and the table settings were exquisite, the dance floor was perfect. And the owners were willing to work and provide anything that was needed. If it wasn’t for this venue, I don’t think our event would’ve gone as good as it did. I would recommend this place to all my loved ones wholeheartedly and would definitely choose this hall again for any future events we may have. 10/10

This is an amazing place to host any celebration. The owner is so friendly, accommodating and dedicated. We had an amazing experience at the wedding reception of my brother. The owner went above and beyond to ensure everything goes well. Highly recommend booking this place as it looks amazing too. Best part is the parking places as well nearby.

We rented this place for my husband and I's wedding the 21/09/2024 and it was the best decision we made cause it was more than what we expected! This venue was, by far, the worst I have ever attended. The food was boderline disgusting and lacked any sense of quality or care. The entire place was extremely dirty—the ceiling looked as if coffee had been splashed across it, covered in unsightly brown stains.

The service was appalling. The staff clearly had no understanding of customer service; they simply dropped the food in front of guests with no courtesy, professionalism, or basic etiquette. To make matters worse, the venue offered no private suite or designated space for the bride and groom, which is unacceptable for any event space claiming to host weddings or formal functions.

I would never return to this venue under any circumstances, not even if the event were free.

I hosted my baby shower here over the weekend, and it was a wonderful success! Huge thanks to everyone who helped bring it to life. Maricil and her team handled everything else seamlessly—from setting up the green backdrop, arranging tables and chairs, and organizing the mic and speaker to preparing the photo booth and the food.
The venue was accommodating to all my needs, with free parking for guests and fair menu prices. I opted for the Italian-Mediterranean buffet and it was delectable.

Maricel and her daughter did an AMAZING job for my daughter’s Quinceañera.
Maricel took so much out of my shoulders and was very kind, she saw I was stressed and took care of all the venue and it’s needs.
The food was amazing, I got different choices as I wanted a buffet instead of a serving plate, all my needs were accommodated and that was a relief! Specially for my nephew and his food intolerances.
The food was absolutely delicious, every single one of my guest commented on that, the drinks were always refilled and we didn’t need to worry about anything.
Honestly, everything was taken care for and that gave me peace of mind. The party went very smooth thanks to the help of Maricel and Carolyn.
I will be planing every future event with them, such a great ladies to deal with.

Our made up 500 month dating anniversary was held at Rekado. A true gem in Lachine. We are longtime Lachine residents and when Canvas was unavailable for our non-flexible date we accidentally came across this reception hall and never looked back. We were thrilled when their “conference room” for 60 to 90 guests would perfectly fit our expected 80 guests and was actually available during the busy June season. There were no windows but that fit in perfectly with our audiovisual plans for the evening.

Compliments to Maricil, Carolyn, her daughter and all the staff that made us feel the welcome and the warmth that only a family owned business can bring.

We opted for the buffet with a cocktail hour. Everything was delicious, but notably the striploin roast cooked to perfection and meatballs that my Italian mother would have thoroughly approved of. Thank you Chef Paul.

Maricil can also be your event planner, making it a relaxing hands free experience.

As for the decorating, my sister acted as decorator along with Maricil. She generously offered royal blue and white floral arrangements as an anniversary gift, which complimented beautifully her chosen royal blue theme for Maricil. Together they produced the most elegant reception hall that I have ever been to.

I must say that the ability of our guests to be completely comfortable in casual wear while in a formal venue for this made up celebration, was a huge hit!

Only cons are than venue is hard to find but easily remedied by sending a photo of the front and explaining if it seems you’re at the entrance of a doctor’s office, you’re at the right place!

The other thing is that there are 23 steps (I counted!) making it obviously impossible or difficult for some of your guests to make it to your event. That being said, that is not Maricil’s fault but rather the landlord’s for not putting in an elevator or at least a stairlift or stair climber.

This place is great. I went there with my wife for lunch and we had a good experience  overall. The food was great, there was a lot of choices on the buffet menu. We had a food tasting for an upcoming birthday event and the staff who served us gave us an excellent service. The place is located in Lachine on Notre-Dame street. If you're looking to organize events such as birthday parties or weddings then I would recommend this place.

It's a beautiful place, but the neighborhood is not safe.

Had our Xmas party here! The food they catered in was amazing! The hall was clean, and so were the bathrooms! Staff was super nice!

The 3D movie was fuzzy and was fixed past 15 minutes into the movie. The staff was however dedicated to better our experience and were quick to offer us refund and provides alternative viewing. Their dedication was enough for me to positively value this experience.

I had my pro addiction appointment with Kiara and I absolutely loved my experience with her! She’s so sweet and patient, it’s clear she’s super passionate about her profession.
I love the work she did on my hair. I have naturally curly hair and after my hours long session with her, now my hair is straighter and needs less maintenance. Definitely has more hydration and less dry compared to my natural hair.
Will definitely go back to see her again in the future!

I sent my wife to see Kayla, and she absolutely exceeded our expectations. I’ve never seen her hair look so fresh and flawless
the technique, the style, and the attention to detail were on a completely different level. We’ve tried a couple of salons in Laval before and always left disappointed, but Kayla’s work was in a league of its own. I’ll definitely be making sure my wife goes back to her for all her future hair appointments.

I had my appointment with Daria and she was absolutely lovely! She did an amazing job and made me feel so comfortable. Unlike many other salons, they gave me the price upfront and stuck to it; no surprise charges at the end! This was my first time at Bask Salon and I really loved the atmosphere. Daria was fantastic!

To walk in salon Christopher’s it’s like walking into my friend’s house, staff is so warm and welcoming, coffee is offered to you right away. I’m one of the lucky ones that gets to be taken care of by Christopher himself. We were able to work to a specific colour that is totally rocking. Shampooing, colour, cut, blow dry get them all it’s worth it I promise you. Best salon in town, I keep recommending it over and over.

5 STARS SERVICE - Karina and Fernando are the dream team. I did colour, haircut and styling with them and I loved it. Sarah washed my hair and was also super nice. The salon is super clean, spacious and modern, plus it has free parking right behind. Top top top experience! Will be back for sure.

Monica is literally the best hair dresser I know. I’ve been seeing her for the last 10 years and I trust her so much that when I come in and she asks what we’re doing I tell her whatever she wants. She gave me detailed advice on the coloring options, and we chose the most suitable one. The coloring took less time than I expected. The color turned out amazing. Stylist Anastasia did my hair and advised me on how to care for it at home. During the procedure, she treated me to incredibly delicious coffee and chocolates with best wishes. I absolutely love the whole staff. They ordered all the dresses for my wedding and for my sister's wedding. We never had to worry about anything and I'll find any excuse to go in and say hello to the staff there whenever I go by.

I went to Salon Drake for the first time yesterday and had the most wonderful experience with the stylist Sabrina. Sabrina was such a pleasure to work with! We did a huge transformation (cut & colour) on my hair and she was kind, attentive and supportive the entire time. She really went above and beyond and I can't recommend her enough! The salon itself is also adorable and extremely welcoming. 12/10!

Giving 2 stars because the owner Malina seems like a genuinely good person and I was refunded for this mess...

However, my hair is absolutely butchered after having Alexandra work on it. I entered the salon with 3 years of previous highlight work from a higher end salon in a different country. They would always foil my hair and gradually got me to a nice level of blonde.

I really struggled to find a good salon since moving to Montreal and put A LOT of research (and trust) into google reviews. I finally settled on Gamme. At this point I had about 1 year of regrowth to give my hair some time from damaging it further from the bleach.

When I entered the salon my hair was down to my lower back and when I left the salon it was barely past my shoulders and half the thickness. Instead of foiling my hair Alexandra decided to apply bleach all over my head completely... no technique, no foils.. just bleach all over like any of us could do at home.

She went over all previously highlighted hair and just bleached away. The whole time she seemed more concerned with talking about gossip in her life rather than focusing on my hair. I thought she was friendly so I didn't mind chit chatting but when I realized she was not even paying attention or caring about my hair it started to annoy me.

After 8 hours of bleaching/toning/drying my hair, the great reveal was a mess of yellow pee blonde roots to about 4 inches down for it to change to a harsh line dividing it into a copper orange color. A harsh line dividing a mix of 5 different colors which all are muddy and ugly. Of course she was smiling and pretending like it's just part of the process, I voiced that I didn't like the spots in my hair, her solution was to tone it a second time to the orange color to make it match, I said no I don't want that color and she told me she would tone it a blonde that's neutral and would make it match but she wanted to cut it first.

After chopping off a bunch of hair as well as more than 6 inches of my hair was falling she tried to throw a towel over the hair on the floor to hide it and she was throwing the hair that was coming out from my head onto her brush to the side to hide that too. Then she tones it and kept suggesting that I should let her put curls in my hair even though I didn't want curls. She says she wanted to do it for her instagram story (but now I know it was to try to hide the mismatch colors).

At the end I could visibly see it was and orange mess, I still paid out of pure shock but even my optimistic boyfriend couldn't cover his pure shock of why anyone in a salon would do that to someone's hair and let them walk out like that.

When I got home I realized she even cut the hair uneven, she never parted it down the middle when she did cut it, it was more like her chopping and hacking away in a panic to hide her botched job. I honestly sit here wondering how this girl ever became a hairstylist.

I would never suggest anyone to go to her if you go to this Salon. I feel bad leaving the review because Malina was so nice but I CANNOT let anyone go through this. At minimum it'll cost me thousands to fix but mostly it's cost me not being able to go out in public or feel good about myself, years of hair growth lost and probably will have to go back to dark hair that I can't dye blonde for years as well. Worst hair experience of my life.

I visited Salon Gamme after finally getting fed up with the constant root touch-ups and decided it was time to fully embrace the grey—and I’m so glad I did! After chatting with the stylist (who totally got what I was going for), I trusted her suggestion and let her work her magic. The result? Even better than I imagined! My friends couldn’t stop complimenting the new look. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I wanted to share my recent experience here as I am quite disappointed with how my hair turned out. I had high hopes for a beautiful hair colour, but unfortunately, I paid over $400 with the outcome was nothing short of a disaster.

During the hair dye process, my hairdresser failed to complete the bleach properly, which resulted in my hair being severely burned. I later realized that this might have happened because my hair was already weakened from exposure to water at a water park. The bleach used didn't seem to work well, and the hairdresser told me that achieving the colour I wanted might not be possible.

Although the hairdresser assured me she would try her best to give me a satisfactory color, the end result was uneven and much paler than anticipated.

I reached out to the salon for assistance, and the hairdresser suggested a product to improve the color. However, this product didn't provide any noticeable improvement, leaving me feeling quite disappointed.

I genuinely appreciate the effort the hairdresser put in and her friendly approach, but unfortunately, the overall experience has left me feeling incredibly self-conscious and embarrassed about my appearance. I cringe every time someone asks me about my hair dye, and I am unable to confidently go out in public.

I'm reaching out with the hope that Salon can help find a solution. I understand the hairdresser tried her best, but I'm not satisfied with how my hair turned out. I believe that as a reputable salon, you would want to ensure your clients leave feeling beautiful and confident, which unfortunately was not my experience.

I’ve been to the salon a few times. And each time, I’m not very satisfied. The last time I went, I explained and specified , and even showed a picture, that I wanted the back to be cut a little because it’s thick. When I got home, I touched and looked and realized that she removed more than I asked. She removed all the mass of hair, I have so much difficulty styling it. she didn’t bring me the mirror for me to check the back. I’m really disappointed and upset!

My stylist Minh was super super attentive to my needs , third time having my hair done with. blonde highlights and he delivers every time ! He made my hair feel super soft, looking fresh and healthy and glowing ready for my wedding day in 3 weeks time . I can’t thank him enough for his special care and attention. Highly recommend Minh for anyone wanting to do any colour treatment he is the guy for the job !!

Loved the place. Amazing prices, great staff. The service was very impeccable. The doormen and security was top notch and very kind and respectful.

I’ve been to Salsathèque a few times with my girlfriend since we started clubbing. The place is pretty rundown and gives old disco vibes. There’s a $12 cover that includes nothing, and the toilets are awful.

We keep going back because the music is great. The crowd changes depending on the night — sometimes it’s young, sometimes older with people who really know how to dance, which we enjoy more. What’s nice is that people actually go there to dance, so you can just enjoy yourself.

Bottle prices are good and worth it if you’re with a group, since you also get a booth to sit at (something you don’t get with single drinks).

Overall, it’s not about the looks, but the music and vibe make it worth it.

Service was absolutely horrible, I was forced to pay cash even if they had the credit card machine available, I had to argue with the waiter to give me the correct amount of change, which he didn't do, and on top of that he forced me to tip him. We didn't get the drinks we asked for, the bathrooms were disgusting and it was ridiculously hot. Never going back, the only reason I'm giving one star is because the music was the only enjoyable thing.

I was hoping for more salsa and Latin dance music, but it was really just another club with a Latin touch to their DJ beats. Not what I was looking for.
If you're just looking to dance and aren't picky on music style, you should have a good time. Although the dance floor was a bit on the small side.

I gave it a star because that’s the lowest it lets me. Staff is horrible from door to table. They even take your baseball hat which is a deadly weapon where lm from. Musics good if you got all new staff might be half decent. Nothing on Singapore, Guyana and Thailand have them beat hands down.
