If I could give 10 stars I would! We are so impressed with Siounis Photo & Video and would choose them again in a heartbeat! Apostolis was so great to work with. Right from our first meeting, we could tell how experienced and professional he is. In the lead-up to our wedding, he was very responsive, detailed-oriented and put in the effort to bring our vision to life.

On the day of, Apostolis, Jimmy and Ethan were all fantastic! Though we had never been in a photo/videoshoot situation like that before, they made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole day. They also were very creative and adaptable when unexpected situations arose. Many of our guests commented on how on the ball they were!

We just received our wedding photos and videos and have not been able to put them down!!! They went above and beyond of what we expected and we are so happy. They captured our day perfectly, from the big moments to the little special details, and we now feel like we can relive it again and again!

I cannot say enough about Paul and his team to explain how amazing they are! I unfortunately did not have the chance to have them for my wedding because they were already booked but I did have them for my daughter’s baptism and I can tell you after having worked with a couple other photographers and videographers that there is really no comparison. I was visiting Montreal for the first time and wanted to grabs some gifts for my family / friends . My finance and I were so happy with the customer service and the great prices ! Sahra was really excellent. I felt like I was in great hands even though we had never met before the wedding day. My install was properly done, and the curls took almost 2 hours to create, but she was very meticulous every step of the way. It felt like a truly luxury experience. Everyone said I look great. She needs a 10 star but we can only do 5. You can never go wrong with her. I booked her for a bridal hair service for my wedding and SHE DELIVERED. I wanted a leave out and my hair was already dyed blonde so she had to match my hair color. That on its own was a tough job but she did it!!! I have never felt this beautiful my whole life. The girl Sara is a scammer and does awful hair. She sold me hair that was yak (and said it was human then when I called her out she lied and said she didn't know, you're telling me you work with hair as your career and you couldn't tell the difference between yak which is animal and human hair? Despicable liar!) Also the wig I asked for wasn't the one I wanted before the apt she asked me if I wanted dark roots (I never even asked for that she only asked if I wanted that cause she had an old wig no one wanted with roots already on it and she wanted to get rid of it instead of getting the regular blond I asked for! ) the tracks were showing it looked ridiculous on the back and I asked for a middle part and she went a head and did a side part( cause she legit couldn't do a middle cause the tracks were that bad and she lied again saying she didn't see them...wow this girl thinks I'm dumb she's ridiculous with her lies. Wasted over 6 hours at her salon. She gave me a refund with the wigs but her lies were ridiculous ND the most hurtful part. I trusted her . I shouldn't have. Oh and if your reading this Sara the first wig you did for me I noticed the hair looked really damaged and there was dark peices so again you ripped me off you took anither old wig and bleached the hairs instead of buying a new one shame on you it seems a pattern with this girl is selling old tampered wigs.. and she can't cut hair either i had to fix the sides they werw crooked . A scammer and liar I wouldn't go here!

At my age I just discover that Laser Tag is amazing. I had to escort my grand daughter here for a birthday party. Apparently that is their thing. I just had to leave a review because the staff were so young yet absolutely out of this world.

for parents who have kids under 13 and for birthday parties SkyTag is perfect. A lot of activities for your little ones and great staff.

Awesome place to celebrate our 12 year old's birthday. Laser tag wasn't very expensive and boucing around was fun. It is very clean, well spaced out, ample supervision from staff and the arcade is moderately priced. Looking forward to going back next year.

We had such a great experience at Laser Tag Montreal! The kids absolutely loved every part of it, from the laser tag battles to the trampoline park and arcade. It was non-stop fun! We were also pleasantly surprised when they upgraded us to a private birthday room, which made the celebration even better. It gave us the space to enjoy some quality time with the adults too. Highly recommended for birthdays and family outings!

As similar establishments go, this is the best place for birthday parties. Less noisy and cleaner than most. Good service. Jade is very helpful.

The drinks were done well and served in some of the most appropriate drinkware.
Staff was super friendly.
Again, decor was just on point.
Their menu is online and the number of birds tell you how strong a drink is. They seemed to go from 2-4 birds.

Snowbird Tiki Bar ~ Tropical Oasis in the City

Snowbird Tiki Bar in Montréal is a tropical escape with immersive décor, creative tiki cocktails, and a fun, kitschy vibe. Drinks are strong, beautifully presented, and often served in collectible mugs. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or night out with friends. Service can be slow on busy nights, but the unique experience makes it worth the visit.

It’s a decent place to try once. We tried every drink they had and honestly for the price, I wasn’t impressed at all. We left the place with most of the large bowls still filled.

My boyfriend and I always come to this bar, and it’s a blast. The atmosphere is great and unlike anything in Montreal. Whether you go on a week day or the weekend the vibe and service are excellent. They have tasty and beautiful drinks and even souvenir cups/glasses. While the starting prices of the drinks are not the most modest, they are very generous with the serving size and the amount of alcohol. Its overall a pretty fair price for a nicely made cocktail and the wonderful experience.

Overall, i HIGHLY recommend the tiki bar and it is my go to cocktail bar!

Asked if they were carying a specific Ribbon (Witch is on their website) simply said they were out of stock, overall very evasive answers. Very disapointing.

We’re so glad we chose Societe Traiteur to cater our wedding! My husband and I wanted to do something a bit different with the food—sharing great meals together is one of our favourite things, so we wanted that same feeling at our wedding. Instead of a traditional sit-down dinner, we went for Lebanese-inspired sharing plates so our guests could try a bit of everything.

After hearing our vision, the team completely designed a menu for us and were so thoughtful throughout the whole process. They even took our feedback on specific dishes and made adjustments to suit our tastes. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and honestly one of the biggest highlights of the day for us and our guests. We had so many compliments from people saying how much they loved the food.

They went above and beyond to bring our vision to life, even though it was outside their usual approach—and they absolutely nailed it.

We recently hired Societe Traiteur for our wedding and we had to write a review about the amazing food and unparalleled service experience. They offered an extensive variety of options at a very competitive prices, including vegan and kosher options, even going beyond their menu. We especially loved their authentic Italian and Quebecois roots, giving options both with a local flair and international flavors. The tasting session was a highlight—every dish was delicious & beautifully presented. We ended up giving our guests a choice of pasta course simply because the options we tried were too good to choose between; we needed both!

There were a couple of hiccups with administrative communication, but it is not unexpected as they had as a team grown exponentially over the summer before our wedding in late 2024. With growth comes some room for improvement, but otherwise we found Societe Traiteur very capable with orchestrating the service and planning of our evening. The same growth also speaks well of their successes and ability to execute at a high level, garnering them an amazing culinary reputation.

We had an incredible team of cooks, servers, bar staff and Maitre'D on the day of at the venue. They did a wonderful job, attending to our every need and they really made the experience a great one. The staff were quick, on point, keeping guests fed and free of any mess, trash or empty glasses. The food was delicious and came out quickly and frequently; we got endless compliments from our guests. The kind staff even set aside a plate of the canapes for us and frequently visited our table to attend to any need; we felt completely welcomed and pampered by them. As we did our table visits, we noted nearly every plate was left clean. At the end of the night, the staff shared extremely kind words and unsolicited compliments to us. They really made the night more special.

Our wedding day was wonderful, we had a great experience with the staff and the food was one of our and our guests favourite part of the evening.

We had La Société cater our wedding and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From our first meeting with Mia, everything went smoothly. She was organized, responsive, and such a pleasure to work with. The food was incredible; from the cocktail hour (highly recommend the grazing table!) to the reception meal, everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The attention to detail was top notch! We’re still getting compliments from our guests about both the food and the service. Highly recommend La Société for any event!

Last Saturday night, I attended. an event catered by Societe Traiteur. Francisco and his team, Camille and Lise, offered an elevated level of professionalism. They were incredibly attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. I have very specific dietary needs; I am vegan and gluten-free. Francisco provided a meal that exceeded all possible expectations! Our starter salad was almost too beautiful to eat. Sweet beets, fresh tomatoes, and a lovely mix of greens graced the plate—the combination of flavours and textures harmonized in every bite. My main dish consisted of a fantastical mushroom breaded in corn flour that rested upon a bed of the most exquisite eggplant puree. The hint of spice in the sauce married the crispiness of the mushroom, creating a perfect bite. Roasted vegetables in a rainbow of colours decorated the plate and added an incredible array of textures. Dessert consisted of a crisp, flavourful vegan, gluten-free tartlet shell filled with the smoothest, most decadent vegan chocolate mousse I've ever tasted! Accented with fresh diced apples, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, this was the perfect closure to a brilliant meal! While I enjoyed my dinner, other guests were treated to the same salad and dessert with either salmon or chicken as their main dish. Both were beautifully presented. The salmon was accompanied by sweet potato puree and a beautiful selection of roasted vegetables. The Chicken was served with roasted potatoes and vegetables. Everyone was quite impressed with their food and the level of service that was provided. I HIGHLY recommend Societe Traiteur for any event catering.

Hidden gem in Lasalle. Sofia Reception ❤️ Beautiful reception hall in the Sami fruit mall. I got married there Saturday and it was beyond all of my expectations. The hall is beautiful and classy. The food was delicious and it deserves a chef's kiss! The staff was just in a word WOW! Silvio was overlooking and making sure everything was perfect. Alfie also was there to keep everything flowing. These guys know what they are doing and you won't be dissapointed. The waiting staff were friendly and so attentive to every detail. I need to give this place a 10/10! There for the election day, cannot say a lot about it as a party hall

Great staff, food is good but if you want to have a good party make sure you ask to have the bar moved in front of the dance floor. Not doing so kills the party cause the dancefloor is so empty because ppl are so far away... bar in front will always make your dance floor look busy which is more inviting to go dance.

My family and I were in town for some work and fun. We were originally booked downtown but wanted to stay somewhere more local with great food choices and found Sonder, and happy we did. They were very accommodating to a flexible check in/ check out time to work with a babies nap schedule. They also provided a travel crib and high chair. Very quick communication. The 1 king suite was well stocked with everything we needed. Happy to be able to get Marriot points while also having our own apartment. Will definitely be staying in a Sonder next time we travel and they are there. Thanks for everything!

Please note: There is an elevator, but you do have to go up 10 or so steps to get to it.

I couldn’t asked for a better stay. This is a well situated hotel. It ended up being longer due to the Air Canada strike but throughout the staff were so calm and accommodating and friendly.

The amenities are wonderful and I love the apartment / hotel hybrid idea. The apartments are clean and have everything you could want and I love the idea of self serve amenities. The suites are modern and feel luxurious. So nice to have a full kitchen and laundry.

The gym is basic but spacious and clean. And the sauna and steam room are great too.

I will absolutely stay here again.

My wife, toddler, and I really enjoyed our recent stay at Sonder Apollon. I’ve read a lot of mixed things about Sonder as a whole before my trip, but it really seems location-dependent. This one is great. It has clean & well-appointed rooms, great wellness facilities on the roof, and an excellent location. We really enjoyed staying at an apartment-style hotel like this over a traditional hotel room for our little family.

My only complaint was that the shower was definitely poorly installed. It looked very nice, but the door was slanted and water leaked everywhere because of it. Other than that, our stay was lovely.

We will definitely try other Sonder locations in the future.

We stayed for four nights in September. The hotel itself is great. The rooms are very nice, well equipped with everything you need. Finishing and care is obvious. The roof top patio and gym were also great.

The challenge is the noise. We were given a room on the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor directly above where the garbage is collected. The ear plugs and noise machine should have been a clue to ask for another room. Then we thought after the first night that they would not have garbage every night but there was 2 out of 4 nights garbage. And it is just not the big bin pick up it is all the noise around the garbage. Plus it seems to take over 30 minutes to get the garbage in the back. So if you stay here do not take room on the back or on a low floor.

Also, they would not give us Marriott points because we booked with booking.com which also seemed to me to possibly affect the room location we were given. Suggest booking direct for better experience.

Absolutely wonderful - location cannot be better - loved the architecture of old Montreal and easy to get to other parts of city.
The apartments are airy, well decorated and have everything you need to a short or long stay.
The roof terrace is lovely too.
We also got lucky and got upgraded from studio to two bedrooms apartment. A few people in reviews remarked about noise - if you have a bedroom apartment it defo helps as I did not hear a thing and I am a light sleeper.

Absolutely wonderful - location and service cannot be better - my parents rented the apartment and I stayed some days with them visiting Montreal. They loved the architecture of old Montreal and how easy it was to get to other parts of city.
The apartments are modern, well decorated and have everything you need to make your stay a great one.

Location is 10/10 and the team both online and on-site are fantastic too. Wish the beds were better quality and there was no pest related issues in the rooms. The team did their best but perhaps it's an issue with the building or maybe location itself. Cooling in the rooms can be a hit and miss depending on your assigned room!

The room was well equipped, but it was not very clean. I thought it was just our room but reading the other reviews now I realize it’s quite common. It was dusty everywhere so it’s not quite easy to relax because you can’t quite trust if it’s just the floor, the counters, the walls, or is it also the bed and the couch?

Aside from this, I noticed that the air was extremely dry inside the room, even though it was quite humid during our visit in the summer. My husband whose skin is quite sensitive to dryness had cuts in his hand, something common for him only during the winter. Our dryer also wouldn’t work (I chatted for support and thankfully there was somebody who came the next day), so I hung our clothes at midnight inside the closet and they were all perfectly dry by breakfast — the air was that dry!

TL;DR: Fantastic location, clean and comfortable amenities, would recommend!

We came to Montreal for the Fireworks Festival and this hotel was perfect for this trip.

Location: located in charming Old Montreal in a quiet pocket, so no loud music, bars or tourists at our doorstep. This hotel is a 5 min walk to the Square Victoria-OACI metro station which was so convenient for our active weekend, especially to take the metro to La Ronde or to see a Just For Laughs show in the Village.

Our stay: our suite was clean, air conditioned and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I really liked the layout, it felt like a cozy condo. The dining nook was great for morning coffee (we grabbed Americanos from Micro Espresso around the corner - highly recommend!) or midday breaks between sightseeing. The record player was a nice touch!

Service: We didn't interact with a human staff member while we were there given this is a self-check-in experience. That said, the app was great and it contained all the info we needed, and a chat available to request additional towels, etc.

We would come back to Sonder Le Victoria!

I don't appreciate being lied to my face, and I'll likely charge-back my credit card for this. We complained about the ineffective AC (of course, by email because they don't have a "real" front desk). Hours later they sent someone to check, and that person only told us that Sonder called the repair company for the whole building AC multiple times in the past, but they left without fixing it. Yet we see that Sonder has recently installed new individual tiny "split mini" AC units into each suite. These are obviously meant to replace the function of the building AC. But they're so tiny, they cant even cool down the main living room. The bedroom and bathroom don't even have vents even if the AC was working properly. So, no matter what happens, you'll find yourself baking while you try to sleep. The best the staff could do was lend us a fan- but they had previously added a small plug-in fan to each suite as an acknowledement of this issue. They don't help.

I would go as far as to say that Sonder ruined our vacation. This summer is set to be record-breaking hot. And overnight, the bedroom will always reach the same temperature as the outside. Therefore my partner and I were simply unable to see Montreal because we were just too tired.

Even if being lied to isn't enough reason to go somewhere else- the lack of vents simply mean that there's nothing Sonder could do to make the bedrooms cool enough on a warm night. Regardless, I'd wager that Sonder has already found it to be too expensive to repair the building AC because he building is historic and old, so the tiny "split mini" is the new normal. And so is being hot while sleeping. This wouldn't be so much of an issue if they told the truth, and didn't lie like cowards.

PS: I guess lying to shut customers up is commonplace. You can find similar reviews to mine, and others where the guest is told "we ordered my parts to fix it" which never came. Makes you wonder what else they lie or cheat about (maybe cleaning?).

Just keep looking. Lots of amazing places in Montreal to stay.

The self-check-in process is very handy! It's nice to not have to worry about a key card to carry around - though I did forget to "check out" on our busy last day because I am not used to having no one in the lobby to communicate with LOL (that one's on me), but I messaged customer service through the app and they assured me all was OK. Our struggle was with the room: fully equipped for anyone looking for an "airBnB" feel (or staying super long term), with dishes, dishwasher and laundry available. However, the room was dirty, especially the bathroom (walls covered in streaks and dirt, etc.) and the fan wasn't working. Staying in a basement room with no real ventilation in that tiny bathroom requires a functioning fan, but when I contacted customer service about it as soon as we checked in, no one came to check on it as they said they would; instead they claimed they were ordering in a part that could take a few days. We stayed for 4 nights and the part never came in time for us to use it; the experience made me feel like the rooms don't get checked and cleaned as thoroughly as they should. Location-wise: EXCELLENT. What a dream to stay in Old Montreal with everything close by and Bixi Bikes parked right outside your room. This stay, however, did make us re-think our London Sonder room we had booked for later this year; the reviews for that location are definitely more questionable (service and cleanliness truly vary among locations which is unsettling) and we felt it's just not worth the risk, so we've cancelled and rebooked a different hotel.

They make nice bouquets. However, I was waiting for someone to come and take my order (I was the only customer) for quite a few minutes before one of the 4-5 people I preparing Mother’s Day flowers for delivery came to see me.

Ordered a bouquet of red roses for my Valentine, but received pink roses instead. Also, the delivery was a complete mess - the delivery person lost the bouquet and ruined my surprise.
Pros: Sophie is responsive and the initial delivery was on time.

The person is very sympathetic and the flowers make a beautiful bouquet. I felt nervous because I was making a bouquet for the first time but she was nice, helpful and patient. Definitely recommend.

We use Sophie Dorval faithfully for our Mom for special occasions, just recently her birthday a couple weeks ago. We are in the US (Florida) and always order online, they always send her the most beautiful bouquets to my specifications, delivery is always on time and the drivers so polite, and the flowers always so beautiful. Our Mother now looks forward to them arriving. She is always so happy to receive them and calls right away to tell me how beautiful they are. She sends me pictures, too. Thank you so much for making it a little easier to send some love and brightness to our Mom from afar. You make the process so easy and make her so happy, which makes us happy.

Please open a location in Ottawa 😭 You have ruined me for vegan baked goods. I can’t stop thinking about the vegan almond croissant. It’s fluffy and crispy, sweet but not too sweet. That almond paste is too good.

The matcha latte with maple syrup is good. When I return to Montreal I plan on getting a hotel nearby to have brunch here.

The scone with lemon and walnut was great too. They also have savoury baked goods.

The staff is kind and there are small tables within the bakery.

I went with a vegan friend who loves their pastries. It is a very colorful and welcoming small business. I ordered the cranberry scone with pecans and couldn't have been happier. Perfection! They were having a buy one get one sale on lemon and raspberry cake squares so we also took advantage of that. The service was very friendly and I would recommend it if you're in the area.

So happy to have found a vegan pastry shop here in Montreal. I had the almond croissant, cupcake, and scone, and they all tasted good. The owner seemed really nice as well.

This was the best bakery we went to in Montreal. Definitely the best and freshest tasting croissants, with the almond one being our favorite! The croissants had a nice presentation, flaky, crispy exterior and layers and layers of delicious flaky soft dough on the inside. The almond one has a delicious almond paste filling inside. We gobbled up the savory treats and bought frozen ones to take on the plane with us. It’s so impressive how they make their own butter, phyllo dough etc… 10 stars if I could.

Silvio and his band were phenomenal to work with and we’re beyond incredible! Their sound, repertoire and overall service was beyond!! They made our wedding hit a higher level of amazing!! We highly recommend them and their decor company! They did our chuppah and aisle runner and it was better than we could have ever imagined!! Only amazing things to say about them! Highly highly recommend!!! Don’t miss out on having the best band and decor services!!

Professional, wonderfully talented, and just great people to work with. We went with SophistOccasion for our wedding, and not only did we have absolutely nothing to worry about, we were impressed. These are exceptional musicians, with a lot of experience, and they were flawless. In addition, we appreciated our interactions with them leading up to our wedding; they are nice people, and take their work to heart. They took the time to understand what was important to us, and what kind of wedding we were looking to have with our 300 guests. I have no hesitation recommending SophistOccasion to anyone, a truly great group of people.

They had all our guests on the dance floor the whole night and us as well! They sound phenomenal and are such great performers. However, beyond that, Silvio and Caroline are great people who really helped us throughout the whole process and met all our demands (and even last minute ones). They even have a decor service which gave our venue a beautiful and classy look.

My wife and I couldn’t be happier with how the night turned out. We definitely recommend them for any party, and we will recommend them to all our friends!

We hired Sophistoccasion for our wedding in June 2022 and they did not disappoint! Not only was the music great (they had ppl dancing all night) but Silvio was also a great MC and the band’s charisma and attitude set the right tone for the whole night. I had the sincere pleasure of seeing SoulStation Orchestra show band for the very first time live in a public show atmosphere, on Friday June 13th 2025 at the Grand Prix Des Sauvers at Little Italy Park in Montreal! What a wonderful way to kick off the summer season!
I highly recommend SoulStation for weddings, corporate functions, birthdays, baptisms, communions/confirmations - and much more! Whatever it may be...they bring the party to you! The band members are the absolute sweetest and always deliver an exceptional performance!! From the songs from back then to now into Italian songs, it was a real party!!! We had the pleasure of having Soul Station Orchestra for the live entertainment for our wedding. They were our 10 piece show band for our reception as well as our live entertainment for cocktail hour and live saxophone for our bride and groom entrance as well as the MC throughout the event. Daniel and team were amazing to work with. So professional, fair in pricing, quick to answer emails or a text and attended many meetings to ensure the day went as seamless as possible. The music was amazing, the sound and the band were incredible and that’s the one thing that we continuously get told about from our wedding - how amazing the live entertainment was! Every song was performed with passion and professionalism, they truly know how to read the crowd and keep the vibe going.

A special mention to Veronica, whose violin performance during John and Vanessa’s opening dance was so eloquent, flawless and beautiful, it added such a magical and emotional touch to the moment.

Nadia the event coordinator is not pleasant to talk to. I called her for information about the venue and as soon as I asked her if she speaks English her tone changed. She didn’t let me finish my sentences before she answered my questions with a one word sentence. I told her that I am interested in their caterer and bar service but 10 of my guests will need kosher food, and asked her if it’s okay for me to bring a third party vendor just for one of the tables, she said no. Not a good experience off the bat!

Went to a co-worker wedding at this location. Beautiful space. If the food comes with renting of the hall, then it's wonderful add-on.

I went there for a wedding reception, really good service from all the employees. They are very welcoming and attentive. Beautiful rooms for dancing evenings and even for live bands!!
