A couple of weeks ago I was in town from Halifax, NS for a couple of days visiting family for my birthday and doing some shopping and I decided to check out Campus early on in the evening after exploring the village before I flew back home the next morning. I am really glad I did. As it was a week day and early evening I knew it might be quieter. The bar itself is really nice , classy and really cozy. I met a few older guys and shared a few laughs and had a great chat. The young bartender with longer dark hair was wonderful. He has a great personality and very welcoming. Ice cold beer on a hot day really hit the spot. But the one who really made my short visit special was the first dancer.. a beautiful young guy named Tyler from Alberta. He was so friendly, kind funny and sexy. He invited me to play a couple of games pool with him before he started performing. So much fun but hard to keep your mind on the game though . Such a sweet, beautiful guy, very down to earth and gives great hugs. Yes I am one of those Nova Scotians that are huggers and super chatty. Lol. I only had time to watch a little bit of his performance as I had to be elsewhere at 9. I felt bad because I was really enjoying myself and did not have time for a private show with Tyler or watch him dance again. Be sure to check out his Onlyfans page 😜 . Thank you Tyler and the bartender ( I forgot your name ) for a great time. I will definitely be back in December when I am in town for hockey. I hope Tyler will al be around.. I highly recommend you checking this place out.

On Sunday 9/7, I was at this bar for about 10-15 minutes. In the time that I was there, I purchased one drink and went to the restroom. About 30 to 40 minutes after leaving, it became apparent that I was drugged by a patron or the staff there and ended up in the hospital. I will post a negative review every single day and a social media post on every platform about this until this place is closed. Criminal behavior and outright dangerous…

Avoid Fernando — total scam.
I gave him $40, and he tried to claim I didn’t pay. When I asked to review the cameras (his own idea), suddenly there was no footage — just a lot of arguing and stalling. Complete waste of time. The tattoo guy he’s involved with is unprofessional and honestly just gives off bad energy. Not worth your money or your trust. Stay away.also lol when you argue or question the totally straight stripper become homophobia. So says it all.

Campus in Montreal is a male strip bar in the Village district of the city. From the outside, Campus looks like a retro movie theatre but once inside, the crowd and the energy is awesome. The clientele is very diverse; from LGBT guests to bachelorette's having an awesome night out. The quality of the performers is top and they are super fit and super friendly. It's the kind of place that you go just to check out and you end up staying for most of the night.

Excellent service, Best prices country wide and AJ is really very helpfull.

Cantina Di Nonna caters to my son's school and the kids are raving how good the food is. My son loves the food and is asking me to order again and again for hot lunch. They beat the previous hot lunch cater and so happy the school finally changed caters. Cantina Di Nonna food is served fresh and hot to him for lunch. Kids are loving the food at school that I decided to try it for myself as well with a friend and our families LOVED EVERYTHING. We can't to order again the week after; we want to keep trying everything they make. We look at the menu and its just mouthwatering. The variety of the menu is amazing for everyone and price is so worth it to feed a family. Food is spot on delicious and perfect. If you haven't tried it Please don't wait like I did. Once you start you CANNOT stop. I regret waiting this long to try their food. I promise you wont regret it. Cantina Di Nonna keep shining! Your amazing people and food is absolutely 5 star delicious.

My husband and I ordered the classic arancini to accompany our luncheon menu, and let me just say what a treat it was for the palette; crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. Cantina Di Nonna! it says it all right there in the name; expect a homie feel with a mix of restaurant quality finesse. I highly recommend ordering your next meal from them!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Canvas in October 2024 and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Beautiful space located near the canal, which was great for pictures. Food was very good, highly recommend any of the delicious canapés! We loved the unique bring your own alcohol option and the bartender John was awesome throughout the night. Can't say enough about how accommodating and caring Mike and his entire staff were throughout the evening and planning process. Prices are very reasonable and Mike is transparent and clearly outlines everything from the start. Overall we had an amazing time and would highly recommend Canvas!

We had our wedding there last week and it was absolutely amazing. From the food to the staff, everything exceeded our expectations. We received very positive feedback from our guests on the food. My mom and I did a brunch and paint and had an amazing time! The two girls were so helpful, and the painting class was SO approachable! Having both never painted before we were worried but we both left we something we totally love! Can’t wait to do another class.

We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at Canvas Montreal two weeks ago, and we could have not been more satisfied! Mike, he was fantastic at realizing all of our wishes and working together to create a unique space for our wedding! Carmen, John (the bartender) and the two other staff members that day/night were equally fantastic - keeping us and all of our guests happy throughout the entire evening! We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, laughter and the way they welcomed us. The space itself is beautiful, I call it a blank canvas. If you are someone who loves to make a space unique and your own, this cozy loft space is Perfect for you! And I should not forget to mention that the food was Delicious! All of our guests were happy to be served hot and tasty meals throughout our reception! We were 100 percent satisfied booking with Canvas for our special day. Not only were booking prices fair, but Mike was incredibly transparent with every single aspect of the space and the services they offer (which many other wedding venues which we researched hide their fees and services - Mike was always 100 percent and on the table). We felt so comfortable with him and his staff that I'm proud to say we would recommend Canvas to anyone as they make you feel comfortable, welcome and at home! I’ve only ever had good times and good food here. I went for tacos today and liked the pleurote and jacquiers ones. There are a lot of vegan options so I’ll be back. The bartender was rude at first so I assumed she was having a hard day. I gave her a good tip anyway, I don’t know if she saw. she warmed up to me afterwards 💗 and asked me to give feedback about the food so I said the tofu tacos I ordered were too spicy and she said she’d pass the word to the chef 👩🏻‍🍳

Been coming here for twenty years. Wifi and credit cards have changed the vibe ever so slightly but all in all good changes. Always interesting music and the recent editions to the (always) vegetarian or vegan menu are great. I love the tofu salad and the new al pastor tacos.

Nice ambiance in the restaurant and the adjacent live music bar and stage is very well insulated. You can almost not hear the music from the restaurant even though the music can get quite loud. Went to see some live music and really enjoyed ourselves.

I just hosted my son's baptism at Casa Receptions and we had a great experience. Pamela and Peter are very accommodating and dedicated to a personalized experience. They helped me with so many decisions from beginning to end and were so so so helpful. The halls are so beautiful even with minimal decoration and the food was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend it!!!

We recently hosted our twin girls’ First Communion celebration at Casa Receptions, and it was absolutely lovely! The venue itself is beautiful – so many of our guests commented on how elegant and welcoming the space was.
The food was outstanding, especially the calamari – it was a big hit with everyone! The location is convenient, with a parking lot and easy access, which made things even smoother for our guests.
We loved that you can bring your own wine and alcohol (with a liquor license), and we were able to set up our own dessert table and decorations, which gave it such a personal touch.

My organization recently hired Cat Around Films to shoot an interview in Montreal. We are a U.S. based organization and I was unable to make the trip to Montreal to produce the shoot in-person. I contacted three companies in Montreal and Justin Ephraim was by far the most responsive. He gave me a fair price and the confidence that his company could handle what we needed - a lengthy three-camera interview between our president and board chair. In addition, I would need to be linked in via Zoom to produce the event remotely in collaboration with Justin.

Everything turned out great! Justin and his crew did an excellent job all around. They were patient and professional throughout. The images and sound were perfect. Justin shared the files with me the same day and I was able to get to work right away. I would happily hire Cat Around again.

Catherine captured the essence of my couple and the energy we put out on that beautiful June day. Our wedding pictures are vibrant, colorful and convey all of the emotions we experienced throughout the day. She had great ideas and kept the pictures original and unique. She and her assistant had great picture ideas and even though we had only met her once (we elected not to do engagement shots) she was able to understand exactly what we wanted.

I highly recommend Catherine and think that she will help make your day fun and fantastic!

We were there for a party of a friend.
It was a quit place right in the middle of the downtown. Easy access with public transportation. Good place for not family parties.
I didn't like the place for a family party because of five reason:
1 the air-conditioning wasn't work properly and for hot days it wasn't a good place
2 the sound system was not really for party. It was like a very simple home sound system. The sound hasn't good quality.
3 the entrance was not appropriate for wheelchair or stroller. There were a few steps to enter the salon.
4 like number 3 the washroom was on the basement and for guest with limited ability is hard to access.
5 the kitchen was too small for arranging lunch, dinner,... For 20,30 guests

I should mention that finding parking is really hard in Friday, Sunday nights.

Nice place in downtown Montreal, with a couple of caveats.

I recently organized an evet at Caucus and overall, I was happy with the experience. However there are a couple of things that can be improved.

First the good things:
Shawn was a great communicator and was quite prompt in answering emails. The location is quite nice and even though finding parking spots on the street in not easy, there are quite a few indoor parking spaces close by at reasonable cost.

There is a nice bar at the corner of the room, which proved to be quite popular for our event :-) and there are enough chairs to seat around 20 people. This was enough for our group since our guests were mostly young and many were standing around chatting.

There are two washrooms downstairs (you would need to take 7-8 stairs to go down), and again that was quite ok for our guests, but if you have older guests or guests with limited mobility, this needs to be taken into account.

The kitchen was ok for our event since we didn't plan to server hot/warm food, but if you do, keep in mind there are no stoves or microwave ovens.

Now the things that can be improved:

There is an air conditioner, but it's certainly not strong enough for a hot summer evening (like the one we had) when there are around 30 people or more in the room. Shawn offered me to take a tour of the room a week before, which I did, and the room seemed comfortably cool, but it was impossible to imaging how it would feel once the room is full of people and if the weather outside is hot. So on the day of the event, unfortunately, almost all of our gusts felt uncomfortably hot. Such a nice place could've been much better equipped for Montreal summers.

Finally, the pricing policy could be made more flexible, esp. for private events, when the host might not know exactly how long the event could last. The current policy says $200/hour or $1500/day, but if you reserve for say 6 hours and end up using the place for 9 hours, you will end up paying (6*200) plus an additional (3*200) for a total of $1800 which is more than a full day. This doesn't make much sense.

Overall, I'd recommend this place for corporate or private parties of up to 40 people max, and when the weather is cool outside. Also, if you're not sure how long your party could last (including the time it takes to clean up), you're better off paying the $1500/day.

On behalf of my team and I, we were very happy with Caucus and we recommend this place to all of our partners, coworkers and family members. This is a very beautiful place, fully equipped, easy to access as it is situated in Downtown Montreal. Shawn, the venue contact, will answer all your questions very fast and will give you easy instructions and reminders about the place. Everyone had a great time! Thank you Caucus!

Amazing experience! Very nice space that is perfect to throw a social or corporate event. The concept is very convenient too, sort of like Airbnb, where you can easily rent the space and have access to it without having to meet with anyone.

We shared ideas and spent a very pleasant hour+ trying out ideas on a empty table in showroom to get a visual on how it would all look together. Results came out beautifully.
I didn’t spend a crazy amount on rentals but they treated me as if I did. Would highly recommend Cindy as a consultant and this rental company for any occasion.

Had a horrible experience with them. Some items were missing when they did the delivery on the wedding day, and we tried contacting them several times but couldn’t reach them by phone or email, which added unnecessary stress on top of an already stressful day. They were also late for the pick up after the wedding which caused us to be late for the pick up deadline imposed by the venue and resulted in extra charges for us...Overall, very bad customer service and unprofessional. I would not recommend at all. Had a way better experience with the other rental service we also used for the wedding.

We rented from Celebrations Group for our outdoor wedding in 2022. We needed to rent almost everything for the event and we were able to get all we needed through them and for cheaper!

Cindy was our point of contact and she was amazing! Out of all the companies we reached out to for quotes, she was the only one who invited us to their show room to go over all our options. She took the time to talk things over, made great suggestions to ensure we had all we needed and was extremely honest and solutions oriented while helping us to fit our budget!

We found the celebrant very easy to contact and responsive, which was greatly appreciated during the preparations. She also took the time to meet over Zoom to explain the process, which reassured us.

Unfortunately, on the day of the ceremony, things took a completely different turn. The celebrant made comments that were out of place, including one about a personal and sensitive situation that she was aware of. This created an awkwardness we never wanted to experience on this special day.

Furthermore, her approach was far too controlling: she interfered with the photographer, even though we had given her complete freedom to capture the best moments, and even made unnecessary remarks about the music. These unnecessary comments even forced us to apologize, both to some members of our family and to our photographer.

Ultimately, these interventions disrupted the flow and lost the magic of the emotions we were so eagerly awaiting for this unique moment.

Yesterday was a magical moment thanks to you! Thank you Mrs. Beaumier as well as to Mr. Beaumier and his wife. You are truly good people....What a beautiful day.

We really liked our experience with Élysa Thiboutot at Center Amour et Mariage; smiling and very passionate woman! She is open-minded, which means we can have the wedding of our dreams, she told us lots of stories of weddings in which she was the celebrant and some surprised us, places we could never have thought of, but that's what makes our unique day unforgettable. There are so many things to think about when planning a wedding and being able to entrust the "paperwork" part to someone makes it so much simpler and less stressful, it's quite complicated and stressful to manage. Élysa knew how to keep it simple, reassure us and even take charge of our wishes so that we didn't have to think about them for the big day and so didn't have to be afraid of forgetting them. Interesting place to escape cold weather and enter into a different world. Quite a few shops, cafes and access to the metro. Awesome architecture, worth checking out.

Awesome tourist trap place. Well played Montreal. The center is a mall connected to a fancy hotel and also contains an underground connection to station Square Victoria OACI station. It is a long walk under grounds just to get to the metro but pay attention to the sign and the arrows 100% no cap.

Such a beautiful chapel! We especially love the stained glass ceiling piece, thoughtfully curated by the property owner. Who by the way is very down-to-earth, and is genuinely so happy for his clients. Nicholas made many suggestions to help in our planning stages, as we are unfamiliar with the area. We unfortunately had to change our wedding date (and our new date was unavailable). So, if you’re reading this, looking for a venue. October 25th 2025 is available (but probably won’t be for long, so reserve it while you can!)
