I had an appointment with Laurie. She was amazing!!!! Super patient, super kind, very knowledgeable of the dresses and was able to find very adequate suggestions of dresses for me.
Unfortunately, I ended up buying my dress somewhere else but I still needed to leave a review for Laurie because she made my first dress shopping visit wonderful.
They have A LOT of dress options, very pretty and great prices! Some of them you can even rent!
Recommended store and know that if Laurie is assigned to you, you’ll be in amazing hands!

What can I say! I went in to find my wedding dress and Laury was absolutely amazing! 💍✨ She took her time, made me feel so comfortable, and helped me find the one. I said yes to the dress! Thank you, Laury!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this bridal dress shop. I was never informed that the dress would be tailored so poorly. No one mentioned anything about the subpar tailoring until I tried on the dress for the last time, just six days before my wedding. The staff didn’t bother to inform me about the potential issues with the alterations, and it felt like they were trying to force me into buying the dress despite its flaws. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially for such an important event. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I attached the photo!

My daughter bought her dress here and first of all it hadn't even been started when she went to pick it up, plus staff was quite rude and arrogant. Maybe avoid the headaches and shop elsewhere.

I bought my wedding dress here and had an amazing experience. The staff are very kind, helpful, knowledgable, and very down to earth. The stylist helped me pick out a beautiful dress that looked great on me. The dress came in on time, and the alterations were done quickly and executed perfectly without requiring repeat appointments. I received SO MANY compliments on my dress at the wedding. I was also able to rent a bolero to go with my dress at the last minute to keep me warm during the ceremony. I am looking forward to returning to use their preservation services. Highly recommend this shop!

This store has been one of my secret pleasures in Montreal since 2014. Their pieces are super unique and last forever and great value. Maud was super helpful and we both had similar tastes for what worked for me which made my selection of items much easier. Highly recommend this store!! Truly a gem in Montréal!!

Terrence is amazing. Traveling from greater Boston to Montreal for over four years I’ve stopped into the store several times. Excellent service and great team working here. If you are looking for a better experience in men’s apparel and appreciate quality and excellence in service, this is your place.

Tozzi is an excellent store that offers phenomenal service, but what truly sets it apart is Daniel. I called him last minute on a Sunday around 6 p.m., just as they were closing, because I needed a shirt for a wedding that same night. Daniel actually came back and reopened the store just to help me out. That kind of dedication shows how far they go above and beyond for their clients. On top of that, they have an amazing selection of classy clothing.⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nadeje was excellent helping me find what I needed and offering her fashion expertise. She suggested two pairs of pants which suit and fit me perfectly and then a pair of shoes that go brilliantly with both. I highly recommend her.

Tozzi is a beautiful concept 3 boutiques with a great selection of clothing and shoes for women, men and home décor. Nadeje made my shopping experience the best. She gave me excellent recommendations once she listened what I was looking for. I love the quality of the clothing and shoes, but the best is the people that are there for you!

2nd stay at Boxotel. Unfortunately, it was not as good as last time. Room was clean, hotel was "fine" but it has lost its sparkle. The chalkboard signage has the old writing still fading through, showing what once was - kind of tells the whole story. Also - the main reason we booked again, the roof top jaccuzi / spa (which is what truly justifies the price of this place) was not working / "out of service indefinitely". This was not communicated to us at any point until we got our bathing suits on and went to the roof and saw the hand written sign. Apparently its been out a few weeks now, so would have been nice to have been informed prior to arrival - as i would have booked another hotel. At almost 300 a night, absolutely not worth it. Otherwise, the place is fine. Staff are doing their best, and are friendly- I know its not their fault.
Good location, smaller boutique hotel. Room has all you will need for a comfortable stay. Our room was not serviced at all during the stay - you will need to specifically ask for it if you want "hotel" experience.

This hotel is located in what seems to be a neighborhood, it's quiet and quaint but located just a couple of blocks from much busier areas and LOTS of restaurants. The rooms are spacious, unique and extremely clean; my room had a full kitchen with a washer / dryer and dishwasher. I would have to say that one of my favorite parts of the stay was the customer service I received from Nabil. You can clearly see that he enjoys his job and, helping guests to make their stays as comfortable as possible. Many thanks to everyone at Boxotel Montreal!

Wow!!! I LOVE this hotel! Super clean (and I am picky), very quiet, extremely well thougt out room, very well equipped including dishwasher, washer/dryer, yoga mat/yoga block, wonderful hamam and sauna, nice rooftop terrace, outstanding client service from Terri and Nabir (which sets it apart from other self serve aparthotels).I cant say enough nice things about this place! I have already booked for my next visit. Nice area just outside of Downtown and short walk to Metro. Highly recomended!

We don’t usually write reviews, but we had to for this one!

The kitchenette was fully stocked with cooking appliances. Included a dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, fridge + freezer; really the best hotel kitchen we’ve experienced.

The room itself was well furnished and comfortable. Good mattress, storage space and bathroom. Everything was also quite clean.

The only negative is that the gym was very limited, and the actual gym space itself did have some insects. (However we did not see insects anywhere else in the hotel)

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. This will be our go-to hotel when we come back to Montreal!

Super cool and high tech hotel. It's amazing to see what exists to make homes and stays smarter for their user. The programmed lights and the automated curtains are the best thing in the room. You have to be very comfortable with the people on your room, the frosted glass is not as opaque as I thought. The room and the hotel are very minimalistic, but they have everything you need to have an amazing stay. I didn't think it would be worth the price, especially during the weekends but it is quite a unique experience, I wouldn't hesitate to come back during weekdays.

Been here a few times but it was my first dinner. The Niçoise salad was surprisingly pretty good. I told my daughter they had a really good beef tartare(had it for lunch last fall) but we were disappointed it was a little chewy and the potion smaller. However the sea bass with the leeks & purée were well prepared and delicious. Sealed the meal with a crème brûlée which was good!

The environment was amazing, and the quality of the food was excellent. We ordered the salmon and steak — both were incredibly tender with a perfectly balanced taste. The sauce for the salmon was absolutely heavenly.
I also tried the Coco Fraise mocktail, which was delicious; the coconut flavor was very pronounced, and I really loved it.
We were celebrating our anniversary, and for dessert, we ordered a crème brûlée, which the restaurant kindly offered on the house. It made our experience even more special.
The staff were super kind and helpful. Despite being a busy Saturday night, the food was served quite fast.

Had a wonderful breakfast experience here! The interior was beautifully luxurious with stylish contemporary touches that made the space feel both elegant and inviting.

We ordered a croissant and salmon salad, and both dishes truly impressed us. Even the simple croissant stood out—it was flaky, flavorful, and far above the usual breakfast fare. When I added prosciutto and butter, it became one of the most delicious and unique croissants I’ve ever had.

The service was warm and made us feel like valued guests, adding to the overall positive experience. The only downside was that it took quite a while to receive our bill, which was a bit of a hiccup in an otherwise seamless morning.

We waited for one hour for our dishes, at a time that is not super packed. These type of breakfast food should never take that long, keeping us starving. When it’s ready, it was served to the wrong table. The eggs were not properly done, the potatoes were not flavored, and the fried chicken looked pathetic. There’s also no fruit for the egg Benedict that the google photo was showing. Also, we said we’ll have just one smoothie, but two were served. The servers all look burnt out and stressed.

Three friends and I had an absolutely wonderful brunch at Brasserie 701 in Old Montréal. We had made a reservation in advance, which was a good idea, although the restaurant wasn’t overly busy—likely due to the heat wave, which actually made things feel even more relaxed and enjoyable.

The service was outstanding from start to finish. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Old Montréal.

Most of us ordered the Eggs Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor.

All in all, it was a 10/10 brunch experience. I highly recommend Brasserie 701 to anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful setting with top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!

We LOVED our experience with Braulio. He was so supportive from the day we first spoke with him until now! He gave us everything we wanted and more. Everyone loved his energy at our wedding. We had a huge list of family photos for him and we were worried it would take too much time, but he was so organized and efficient, we got it done in much less time than anticipated! The best part is he got all our pictures ready for us within 12 days of our wedding! He really went above and beyond in every aspect he could’ve and he helped make our wedding day so special. We just got the pictures today and are SO happy with them!!!! 10000% recommend Braulio!

We had the privilege of working with Braulio in Montreal this summer for my son's Bar Mitzvah. Since we are from Toronto, I needed someone talented who I could trust, and would capture our simcha to the fullest. Rocha Photography came highly recommended by my cousin who lives in Montreal. As soon as I looked at his website, I knew he would be perfect for us. He captured the day creatively, using original angles and techniques, and his easy going personality made working with him very enjoyable. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous! I had the most incredible experience at Bridalane thanks to Lisa! She helped me find my wedding dress, and I couldn't be happier! Lisa's knowledge of the dresses was astounding — despite the huge selection, she knew exactly which ones would fit my style and preferences.

What really stood out to me was her patience and understanding of my tight budget. Lisa never once made me feel uncomfortable about it; instead, she worked hard to find options that not only matched my budget but also made me feel special. Her attention to detail and dedication to making sure I was happy with my choice truly made all the difference.

This place is amazing to host your event. They serve many good foods. They offer all you can eat and all you can drink. The entrance is exceptional. It really give a nice vibe when you enter the building. Recommended for weddings or even graduate ceremony.

Every time I come here to make a return/drop-off, there’s a line of over 10 people and the wait is never less than 25 minutes. One cashier is simply not enough to handle this volume of people. Staff is very kind and understanding, but there clearly needs to be more assigned to this position.

They don’t respect the price law of Quebec. They advertise wrong prices and won’t follow either the Quebec law or their own price policy. Beware that you pay the price shown in the items.
I bought a pen and reading glasses. They did not honour the law on the reading glasses.

Don't call, it's better to go in person and ask.
They aren't staffed well enough for someone to pick up the phone .
There is an area for printing and cutting printing paper.
But they don't have service for cutting foam boards. They only sell that.
Decent selection of office furniture and electronics.
Reliable selection of printing cartridges.
It's easy to drive to heading south on Jean-Talon.
It's difficult to drive there if you head north on Jean-Talon.

Worst customer service possible! The employees are not interested in helping the customers left by themselves, the manager literally talks to customers as if we were in a very bad shawarma restaurant, not enough staff members on a busy Saturday, manager on break for 1h30min supposedly at it was allegedly mentioned to me by a cashier.. it’s awful, whoever gave this store manager his title and position deserves to know that Staples’ reputation is very deeply affected by such amateurism and poor customer service. Printers need cartridge replacement and work stations are functioning well with updated softwares as they should. They answer I got when I couldn’t print .HEIC field (iPhone pictures) was that an IT ticket needs to be opened and that they could not comply with my request when I’ve been around for 45 min hoping for some help and guidance.

50$ off when you order 200$ and more but when it is time to track your order and find out when it will be shipped there is no quick info on their website to call or a “contact us” link. When you call the store and press 5 to track your shipment a recording tells you their offices are closed and to call between 7:30am and 10pm - i was calling at 11:15am. Then you try talking to a human in one of their stores and they are all with other customers and cannot come to the phone. This is their last chance. No more pressing buttons and searching for someone to talk to. No more signing up and registering another account and firking out credit card and sensitive info. I will always buy at AMAZON where every useful info is in one app. Good bye Staples.

Update: found a section on staples.ca website where you input order number, email and postal code and the button to press continue does not even activate and stays gray. What a useless website. Even the confirmation order email does not contain any shipping information/tracking number. Anyways all fixed. The same item i ordered came today by amazon even before staples one arrived and cancelled all my orders with you and NOT coming back as a customer EVER. Thank you for reaching out but really a sorry after the fact and offering to reach customer service with an email address that will take days for answer but no thanks, all to late.

I visited Vino Disco on New Year’s Day, and overall, it was a great experience. I had to wait in line for a little bit, but once inside, everything moved smoothly.

The club itself isn’t the biggest, but the vibes are top-tier. The disco ball in the center of the room, combined with the lighting effects, creates an amazing atmosphere. I only had a few drinks at the bar, but they were great.

I’m not sure if they always do house music or if they host different types of events, but for my first time there, it was exactly what I was looking for. Honestly, I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else to celebrate New Year’s.

Highly recommend checking it out!

One waitress was very rude and racist. Me and my friend are Asian, we were asking for cocktail recommendations for different note that we liked. One waitress was very friendly and kind, and trying to help, but she’s less experienced, so she ask another waitress (possibly more senior that her) to help us. But the second waitress was very rude and impatient, not trying to understand what we want, but very soon saying we don’t have sake and soju, even if we never ask for sake and soju. That’s racist and very uncomfortable.
I was asking for cocktail with a smoky note, but obviously they don’t have anything like this. So I ask the second waitress to recommend any cocktail that’s less sweet for me. She straight up saying EVERY COCKTAIL IS SWEET. She is very rude and not thoughtful.

I LOVE this Boutique! Rachel is amazing, and passionate about helping you to find the right dress for your event. The whole experience is very enjoyable, and I felt like a princess getting ready for a ball! I cannot recommend this place enough, I love that it's sustainable and a local business. Come here for any dress you might need!

A fantastic experience picking out a prom dress for my daughter. Amazing help by the stylist, flexibility in booking, and great communication made this a wonderful, stress-free experience! My daughter had so much fun trying all the different styles of dresses -- will absolutely come back for future events. Love that the dresses will be re-used rather than sit in the back of our closets.

Fantastic experience and lovely stylists to help you find the right dress for an event. The gowns were gorgeous - the whole experience was so enjoyable and stress-free. And I love that this is an ECO choice too ;) No need to buy new for dresses that you often wear only once!

I had the most amazing experience at Vezina and even found my dress! They have such a great selection of dresses, all of incredible quality, which made the process even more exciting. I was a little nervous going in, but the staff were so experienced, kind, and reassuring—they made me feel completely at ease from the moment I walked in.

The women who helped me were professional, sweet, and truly listened to what I was looking for. They guided me through everything while giving us space to decide, and they even had champagne to celebrate once I said yes to the dress!

Honestly, such a wonderful and memorable experience. I highly recommend Vezina to any bride! 💕

I had two appointments with Chantal and Megan, and both times I felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed. They were both incredibly patient, kind, and helpful. They pulled some "surprise" options, and I actually ended up saying yes to a dress I would have never chosen myself! So don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and let the experts guide you.

I also recommend making an appointment on a "Pop Friday" for an extra special moment with loved ones when you finally say yes to your dress!

The entire experience was truly special, and I will cherish the memories I made at Creations Vézina.

Wedding dress came 11 days after the promised date. At the moment of purchasing they said the date is approximate and it can arrive “a few days” before or after. They tried to charge me 700$ more for a ‘rush order’ to have it come sooner but it did not seem necessary because the delivery date was fine. Suddenly when I called them on the due date they said they’re on vacation for a whole week. Why did they not tell me when I purchased it or anytime during the 4.5 months when I was waiting for the dress?They were not able to track my 4000$ dress when I kept calling them a week after its supposed due date, they said they don’t have tracking info. Did not get so much as a single apology! Refusing to give a discount. On the day of pick up they told us we could have payed 300$ for a rush order, which is a complete lie because the day of purchase they said its 700$. They are denying all responsibility, and blaming me for not paying the ‘rush fee’, which was not necessary with the original due date. I now have only 2 days to have my dress adjusted and have to pay a lot more fees. Horrible experience terrible customer service.

Cool place and the girls are pretty but they also look miserable. Also, as two girls from Alberta it was insane to pay $25 plus a tip to just get in. And then give money to the bouncer before entry. The drink prices are overly expensive and being expected to tip on $5 shots it’s ridiculous. I don’t know how many times I heard the word tip, but it was annoying. I’ve visited over 100 establishments worldwide, but this one stands out as the worst. I’ve never witnessed such desperation among the doorman and bartender, who were begging for tips. It made the entire experience unpleasant. I’m not stingy, but I appreciate the service provided. Perhaps the owners should consider paying their employees a competitive wage to avoid ruining their customers’ experiences. I feel sorry for the dancers there because they’ll likely end up making zero money.

The interior was awesome. Girls were pretty. However, charging 35$ to get in, and then 5$ just to ACCESS lap dances?? I’ll come back because I had like no money on me, but the entrance fee is crazy.

went with the miss’s on a friday night around 10:30pm.

was told we had to pay 25$/ cover then had to tip the coat check (even though we had no coats) & had to tip the door man to seat us another 10$ even though the place was empty.

we didn’t go in, opted to go to another down the road that wouldn’t charge us close to 90$ just to enter.

Great talent and music but an absolute shakedown. Entry fee is to be expected but to have to then tip out the ticket girl and the bouncers to even be let in, what a scam. I'm here to spend money

I went with a friend, and within 30 minutes we got ripped off so hard it was laughable. Here’s exactly what happened:

First scam: Two girls took us to the back. We clearly agreed on $40 for two dances. Suddenly they pushed for $60, we refused, so they got rude. They gave us the laziest “dance” imaginable — not even a minute each — then snatched the money and walked away. Total rip-off, but we let it slide.

Second scam (the big one): Two Latina girls came up right after. They offered $100 for 15 minutes in VIP. Sounded shady, so we tested them with the same $40-for-2-dances deal. They agreed. They danced maybe 4–5 songs max. When I asked how many songs it had been, she smirked and said, “Ummm… 10.” Then she demanded $200 for what was supposed to be $40. That’s pure robbery.

At that point we walked out, disgusted.

This place survives by tricking and hustling people — not entertaining them. The girls lie, change prices on the spot, and bully you into paying ridiculous amounts. There’s no respect, no honesty, no professionalism — just a setup designed to milk you dry.

💡 Save your money. Believe the bad reviews. If you value your time and wallet, stay away. Places like this don’t deserve to stay open.

The dancers here are blatant opportunists, preying on customers with zero shame. You’re lured in under the guise of fun, only to be hustled and nickel-and-dimed for every second you sit down. I personally experienced this when a so-called “dance” lasted barely two minutes, and I was slapped with a $40 charge.

Thinking perhaps it was a single dishonest individual, my friend and I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and tried again with different dancers. The result? Two new faces, same scam. We were told we had received ten songs when in reality it was barely five, and we were forced to pay $200. That is not just exaggeration—it’s fraud.

If you value your hard-earned money and your self-respect, stay far away from this place. Trust me: the negative reviews are not exaggerated. The staff here are shamelessly dishonest, and frankly, they deserve to lose their jobs for the way they conduct themselves.

This isn’t coming from a bitter man with unrealistic expectations—it’s from a regular, hardworking guy who wanted to relax on a Friday night. Instead, I walked away disgusted at how low some people will stoop to rip others off.

Rip off scammers . One dancer I forgot her name took me for 1 dance and she charged me 3x the amount. I paid her out of pity and just left after that

Held my wedding here. My husband, family, and guests were all blown away by how cool this venue was. The staff were extraordinarily professional, friendly, and accommodating.

Candle Night experience: it was great.. but a bit pricy! The place, the Jazz band, the set up with all the candles: such a lovely and romantic ambiance! Loved it!! But I would say that it was a bit pricy for exactly a 60min set (and the singer talked a lot between songs to tell us story which was great though). I wish they extend a bit the duration...that's it. But other than that, I highly recommend to live the experience!

As much as I love and support the drag community, and the shows are great (so is the staff), there is much room for improvement: the cabaret has no food at all, not even easy-to-provide snacks, such as peanuts or fries (or even chips). Sometimes, they take away all the seats, like tonight, and to be waiting for more than an hour for a 3-hour show... it can be somewhat uncomfortable (especially with a ticket costing beyond 40 $ on a Sunday). Also, we are forced to check our coats and the place is super cold indoors. Hoping it will become better in the future. Thanks.

Coming to Montreal this time around, I was excited to check out the Village with my partner. I have to say, the hostesses were absolutely hilarious campy, charismatic, and a joy to watch. They really brought a sense of humor and energy that could light up the room.

That being said, I couldn’t help but feel disheartened for the performersand the hostesses when they performed too because there was barely any tipping, we saw 1 person throughout the night.

The energy in the room felt so cold, despite how much effort these artists put into their craft and how much they do for our community. It genuinely hurt to witness that.
This kind of show deserves engagement, not indifference. It’s meant to be immersive, not just something to passively watch

For example, in Toronto, people are tipping generously, laughing, and actively showing appreciation. That kind of atmosphere was what we expected and the lack of it here really threw us off, also it will be in French don't come here expecting any different, that shouldn't be in question if they will speak English.

I truly hope the people in Montreal learn to engage better and show these queens the respect they absolutely deserve.

Unfriendly towards queer women. Also tickets didn’t include seats and we were told it was standing even though there were multiple open tables after the show started. Were quite rude to my partner and made her cry. Very cold employees. When we tried to leave I was also blocked by the bouncer. Felt very unsafe and confused why he would try to prevent me from leaving.

Typical Canadian drag show. Individual performances, no back up dancers, lip syncing, etc. Maybe I expected more, but they labeled themselves a “cabaret.” Drag shows in developing countries like Mexico, Philippines, Thailand, etc are like broadway shows! This country’s drag shows are stuck in the 50s style.

Honestly, if you live in the Montreal area and are looking to buy a caftan this is the best place to go, me and my friend we're on the hunt of a perfect caftan with a reasonable price and no place had as many options and good prices as this place! Caftan Kaftan had a whole section for renting and whole section for buying, and the prices were more than reasonable compared to other stores we looked at! The owner is super sweet and humble, she doesn't hog over you, rather she gives you your space and lets you look around and choose the dresses that might interest you to try them on and see which one you like the best! She also genuinely cares for her customers and their needs. She also offered us free bracelets at the end even after we offered to pay for them! If you are looking for a caftan store who has reasonable prices and were you will feel a 100% conformable Caftan Kaftan is the place to go!

I went with my son last week we got a warm welcoming from the owner’s mom as she was busy preparing for the opening that morning she left everything behind to help us. Although she was busy, her priority was to make sure we were more than satisfied. She gave us a great service and we are very pleased with our purchase.
