Rula and her team did not disappoint! Our wedding was May 16th. Rula went above and beyond for us from picking up our wedding favours and dropping them to the venue to doing a beautiful memorial table for my husband’s mother. She put so much thought and effort into executing the perfect decor. Our guests were blown away. Weddings can be very stressful but Rula made sure to take care of everything day of; she did not contact us with any issues and made sure to keep us focused on just showing up and having a good time. It was truly a seamless experience and we would recommend All in One Events to anyone looking for a decor company that is truly passionate about what they do & will ensure amazing results.

My husband and I first met Rula at the Ottawa Wedding Show in the summer. Immediately from meeting her we knew she was the one for us. She speaks with so much passion and love for what she does, and we fully trusted her with our wedding. Everything she touches becomes gold truly. Throughout the entire process she was so attentive, responsive, patient, kind, organized, and really cared for every single detail. She made our day so incredibly special, and she was not only our decorator, but our friend, supporter, life coach, mentor, wedding planner and more. So... there should be a 5 stars plus rating. I was getting my car serviced a couple of doors down and had my baby with me so I decided to go grab a coffee while I waited..well, the smell as soon as I walked in had me hungry instantly so I got some samosas for my wait, umm yum! I ended up leaving with a bag full of food, and all I have to say is, wow! The unmatchable customer service from the 2 ladies that served me unbelievable. Highly recommend! Thank you so much ladies I give your customer service 10 stars ❤️

Not enough words to describe how happy I was. Ordered for a work lunch. The food came exactly on time, hot and very well packaged. It came with table cards to tell everyone what the dish was, spice level and if it was Vegas etc. it tasted better than the fabulous smell of it. I will be using them again!! Online ordering was super simple and explained the dishes well. 10/10 recommend.

I have never experienced a food delivery service so high-tech. From ordering online to paying at the door with just a tap on the payment phone. Receipt directly being emailed, and the food box turning out to be....(Surprise: See the photos).

Food Quality & Taste: I have used their delivery service, and always loved the taste of whatever dishes i ordered. Their fish curry with chapati is soooo good!!! Ask it for hot if you like spicy food.
Mixed vegetables curry was great too.
Great for: If you've family get-together or an event planned--this place is perfect for catering.

Pricing: I wouldn't call it cheap. I'd put it in slightly expensive side, but then this is Ottawa we live in where Indian food is expensive pretty much everywhere.

Goodies Not to be Missed: Meat and potato samosas are yummy, get them with either coriander or tamarind chutney. Also, love the Indian cashew, pistachio and almond flavoured burfi meethayi(sweets).

The girl who runs the front counter is probably one of the most polite and friendly people I have ever encountered. It helps as well that the butter chicken is the best I’ve ever had. Lots of amazing treats as well. They are busy for a good reason.

Sarah Maynard did an absolutely wonderful job officiating our wedding ceremony! She has such a warm and personable nature that immediately puts you at ease. One of the things we appreciated most was how she allowed us to customize certain parts of the ceremony to truly reflect who we are as a couple. Throughout the entire process, Sarah was incredibly attentive to both of us. She made sure my husband felt comfortable while waiting at the altar, constantly checking in on him, and she was equally caring in ensuring I was doing well too. Her thoughtfulness really showed on what could have been a nerve-wracking day. Sarah was exceptionally professional in every aspect of her service, and you can genuinely tell that she absolutely loves what she does. The process was very easy. The best thing about the wedding was getting married and having my poem/reading be the one I dreamed of. Israel Copel was absolutely amazing. He did such a fantastic job at keeping order and helping me stay calm. He explained the entire process so effectively, I was able to trust him and let things happen. She brought the perfect mix of heart and humour, to our ceremony, and clapping along while I danced down the aisle? Iconic!! She didn’t just officiate; she elevated the whole moment. The online service was great for booking our officiant, Sarah Maynard. The email responses were always very timely. Sarah was amazing! She always responded quickly, day or night. She was so nice when we met her, and she did a terrific job at our ceremony. Amazing experience at All That Glitters! We dropped by after going to four other bridal dress stores to buy a wedding dress for myself, and this store was absolutely the best. The service was perfect, and there was few dresses on sale with really reasonable price (around 300$-400$) and good quality. I found the perfect dress and I'm so happy about it!

We bought my daughter’s dress at this store. The experience was great. They were always very patient and helpful. The person that helped us listened to my daughter’s requirements for the dress and showed to her some very good options. The dress she chose was gorgeous, they got the dress to us on time and contacted us for the fitting. The communication to coordinate for that appointment was very easy, fast, and they never got frustrated with us for moving the appointment many times. They gave to us tips on how to get the dress on and how to fit it well. They were always patient with us, answered all of our questions, and never rushed us. Excellent experience!

I didn’t end up buying my wedding dress from here but they had a lot of great options. If you’re on a budget, they have a lot of dresses on sale for $500 that are either a discontinued design or older stock. They also had really beautiful veil options that I haven’t seen anywhere else in store or online.

Had the most amazing experience at this shop. We travelled up from Sudbury and visited a few places. This was the most welcoming, friendly environment, and was our last stop as they ensured we were well taken care of. The dresses they had were absolutely stunning and the salespeople were so knowledgeable and helpful. There was such a variety of dresses and lots of variety in price which is great for all families. Filamina (the woman who took care of us) ensured that my daughter was well taken care of and helped her with each dress. She was so stellar, that my other daughter, who is graduating next year, is determined to go back next year for her dress and hopes to have Filamina assist her as well. They also helped us find perfectly matching jewelry. We left feeling very happy and valued. 5 stars for this shop, and can’t wait to go back!

I visited the store yesterday to get an idea of what kind of wedding dress I wanted with no intention to walk out with THE dress. Jamie was the absolute best in helping me find my dress. She is genuine and kind and the best hype up women ever!! She truly made my experience that much better! 10/10 recommend visiting this store for any bridal or prom needs and HIGHLY recommended asking for Jamie as she is truly the best ❤️

We politely sought a quote for auto and home insurance, they replied, we gave the requested info and then they ghosted us. We happen to have a clean insurance record. Not sure what happened at their end but we guess our business did not matter much to them. Fortunately, we found other willing insurance brokers in Kanata who were friendly and easy to work with.

We have been with this company for over 25 years. We get continuous superlative service with top competitive pricing.

They are always ready to serve you incredibly well, even in stressful times.

I had several exceptional years of service with Allan Man, I felt it was like small town brokers in the big city. I do not enjoy giving a poor review but my recent experience with Allan Man both with my personal adjuster Brian and the owner Allan have left me to warn others to stay away.

I have had a minor repair claim since March (it is near end of July as of writing this). At no point has there been any urgency to finish, look into or check up on. Despite several calls, escalations with the manager Allan neither Brian nor Allan seemed to care about my satisfaction or the completion of the claim which is still incomplete with complications as of writing this.

I have been left fully self service to deal with the body shop and directly with Aviva.

Please reconsider doing business with this location. I have had very poor communication, they have not answered many of my questions, have no urgency and there is quite clearly no concern for the customer at the end of the day.

Other important warnings.
-I had deductible forgiveness but am paying a $200 deductible.
-they sent me to out of network bodyshop with no warranty and resulted in delays and additional estimates required.
-they never communicated with new bodyshop and left me to work directly with Aviva for all concerns.
-Never replied to estimate quotes to reduce service after realizing service paid for was not as “full coverage” as expected.
-Left literally months without communication of any type while happily taking my monthly payment.
-Broker went on sick leave without letting me know, I had to escalate to manager to find out, manager Allan never followed up with promised to call back when he found out about state of negligent claim.
-Left to personally deal with bodyshop, arrange for rental and body shop is now understaffed so my car is just sitting in their parking lot with no actionable work being done.

I do not enjoy this review, but you have been warned. Some very simple human decency based concern and communication could have avoided all of this but I am 5 months into a very minor repair and they still do not even know what is going on.

***Update, An attempted placation and excuse is provided below. Customers read into as you will. Notice at no point was I on their radar until I left this poor review. They are only in it for your monthly and have no wherewithal to handle complex or escalated situations. My case is still openly active I am actively calling aviva and they have made no attempt to contact me or help beside providing the below excuses.

Chris Lavigne was great. We moved our home and both cars. Yes, we saved money but Chris patiently pointed out the differences between the policies and gave us a quick run down on the companies - claim service and so on. We also challenged him with a boat we purchased in the US. Chris provided us with choice of markets even with the challenge of the boat being in the US for two months before we bring it to Canada. Again pointing out the differences in the policies and companies.

Can't forget the receptionist - she's awesome. So professional yet friendly. Love dealing with this office.

I have been dealing with this company for over 18 years for both commercial and personal policies, best service and personal attention to matters, could not ask for more. Keep up the great work guys!

I have used this service many times in the past and our newest trip was equally satisfying. Khalil was our driver. Very nice man polite well dressed. Car was immaculate. Complimentary water and chocolate. Picked us up on time got us to our destination on time and waited for us for our return. Trip was excellent. Highly recommended.

Our Ottawa tour in the beautiful new, clean Allante van with our incredibly knowledgeable and flexible driver Fred was my family's #1 favourite day in Canada! We squeezed in a Parliamentary Tour, lunch at the By-Ward Market, the National Gallery AND a visit to Gatineau in one day, with NO driving and NO parking stress.
Thank you, Fred, for your patience with the kids and knowing where the "potty stops" are! I have been informed we need to plan an Ottawa Day every summer now.

Even with 11 family members on the Ottawa tour, our van never felt crowded. From the grandparents to the youngest kids, everyone just loved the day and our driver Fred. We are already planning next years' Ottawa Day!

I needed to book a number of dates for transporting a VIP around Ottawa. Allante were fantastic, accommodating, fast to respond. I've recommended them to the hotel where we stayed, and would recommend them to anyone needing transport in Ottawa.

I just had an incredible experience here at Alliance Bridal finding my wedding dress! Booking my appointment was incredibly easy, and I could even select specific dresses that were ready for me to try on when I arrived! Throughout my appointment, Tania, my consultant, made me feel so at home and comfortable, bringing more dresses that she thought would suit me as well. Even when I couldn't decide between two dresses at the end of my appointment, the whole team was incredibly accommodating and supportive. I ended up returning (twice in two days!) and purchasing my dress, which I unexpectedly fell in love with, for an amazing price! Tania went above and beyond for me, really made me feel like I was family, and I left feeling very confident in my decision. I would 100% recommend any other brides-to-be to book an appointment!

My experience at Alliance Bridal & Prom Boutique was nothing short of outstanding. As brides, we already have so much on our plate (with our fiancés being oh-so-“helpful” with planning 😉) but Alliance took the over thinking and stress out of something with so much pressure around it, Walking into this appointment I honestly had low expectations, my first dress shopping experience elsewhere left me feeling deflated, discouraged, and disappointed, and I was convinced I’d leave empty-handed again.

But Alliance Bridal completely turned that around. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. I usually dread trying on clothes, the constant stripping down feels like such a chore. But to my surprise, I actually had fun. That alone speaks volumes! Even though I had just met my consultant, I never once felt judged, awkward, or out of place. Instead, I felt supported, celebrated, and at ease.

The variety of dresses was incredible, and to my amazement, I found the one. I said “yes to the dress” and the experience didn’t end there. After my appointment, my bridesmaids stepmother and I went downstairs to look at dresses for themselves. To top off an already perfect day, my stepmother also said yes to her dress.

Overall, Alliance Bridal offers phenomenal customer service, an amazing selection, and a truly uplifting shopping experience. Without a doubt, this is the place to go in the area for wedding gowns. I couldn’t recommend them more!

I had such a wonderful experience at Alliance Bridal! The shop had so many beautiful gown options and a great selection of accessories, which made the whole experience feel really special. I originally went in just to browse and wasn’t planning on buying anything that day… but with the help of the lovely clerk, I ended up falling in love with a dress that was the total opposite of what I thought I wanted!

What stood out most was how comfortable and supported I felt. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, and the staff made me feel beautiful and confident in every dress I tried on. When I found the one, they were even able to express ship it in and made sure everything stayed within my budget, which I really appreciated.

I booked an appointment and tried on dresses for a Saturday, the staff picked out dresses that fit exactly what I had in mind, respected my budget and made me feel comfortable and unpressured.

This place is great. In a former church. Cool exposed stone and brick interior. Fantastic food. Local craft beer. Very friendly staff.

We had our wedding at allsaints a few weeks ago and it was a truly magical experience! We booked very far in advance and they were always responsive to our emails and in helping us plan. Tianna was absolutely amazing to work with - she checked in with us multiple times the day of and truly made us feel cared about. The food and drinks were also phenomenal with multiple family members taking fresh bread home. Thank you again for the wonderful experience!

We had our wedding at allsaints in May of 2025. It was a fantastic experience. Tiana and the rest of the staff worked diligently and were very supportive to ensure the day went well. Everything was so easy with them. The guests loved the food and the comfortable space. Thank you!

Overall wedding experience was good at All Saints. It is a beautiful venue, that we were able to decorate ourselves the night before (downside was we only knew we could till a few days before the wedding).
However, there are many things that were negative. Communication with the staff was poor, due to having to wait almost a month for responses to emails. Also we were changed several times who our primary contact was.
On the day off my guests had complaints about coffee not being refilled, their drinks being taken away from the table and a very long wait in between the first and second course.
The staff didn't provide us with bigger plates and cutlery for the late night snack

I hosted my sister's bridal shower in the Chapel last week and it was phenomenal!! From the food, to the aesthetic, to the service - everything was perfect. The planning process was very smooth and I was able to do everything from a distance (over the phone and via email). I would highly recommend booking your small, intimate events at allsaints events space!!!

Susan is so professional, efficient, and knowledgeable! She has great communication and I was grateful she was able to accommodate my needs even with her busy schedule. I love my new haircut and colour touch up. Definitely recommend and will be back!

I had my first appointment with Susan after relocating to Ottawa. Susan took the time to meet with me for a consultation first, and asked all the right questions about what I was looking for. It had been years since I tried a new haircut style, and I am very pleased with the results! Her salon is bright and welcoming, and I was pleasantly surprised with the efficiency of the appointment.
I would definitely go back for regular haircuts in the future!

Susan was absolutely wonderful and it was my first time. I love the way she took the time to discuss exactly what I wanted and delivered the perfect hair cut! I definitely will be going back.

This was my first time going to see Susan for a haircut and I’m so glad I did! Her salon is nice and bright and she is so friendly and easy to talk to. She recommended what would be best for length and layers based on what I told her I was looking for and I was very happy with what she did. My hair looks and feels amazing! I will definitely be going back to see her again for other hair services!

Went here on a Saturday night. Sadly the rooftop lounge was closed, but hopefully next time I am in CA it will be open. We got around 5-6 drinks here after having dinner at another place. I will say it’s not the cheapest but the atmosphere was great. The drinks were delicious as well. We sat at the bar and I had a good time talking with the bartenders and other staff. They were very attentive :)

Went for a birthday dinner and it was so good. We ordered shared platter Tommie which had tomahawk steak with parm potatoes and vegetables. We also ordered a ceaser salad and it was amazing as well. Only downside would be the music was too loud and we couldn’t hear each other across the table.

We went to Alora for a graduation dinner. Unfortunately we had to sit inside since the rooftop was closed for a private event.
Ample options on drinks menu, limited & pricey food menu. We ordered a couple of appetizers and they were delicious. In the mains, the halibut I ordered was overcooked and could’ve used some more pea sauce tbh & the cauliflower steak my husband ordered was bland. The saving grace was the lamb and chicken which our companions said were juicy and delicious.

A nice finding in Ottawa. Went there with my wife for our anniversary. The restaurant: The outside is very nice, the atmosphere inside is very cozy and intimate. Two small negative points: some tables were very close to each other, and the music level got louder, almost too loud, after 8pm ( maybe I'm just getting old!). We ate inside, but they have an outdoor terrace on the roof. First and foremost the setvice; it was exceptional thanks to Caitlin. She was always coming back to make sure everything was perfect. Even the co-owner, Arash, jumped in to make sure we had everything needed. The food was delicious, a bit pricey, but then everything is nowadays. The broccoli crunch was excellent, with a mix taste of maple syrup and peanut butter...just delectable! We both had the steak frites, which comes with fries, aparagus and peppercorn sauce; steak was a bit charred to my taste but still delicious. The fries are outstanding. Then we finished it up with crème brulée; one of the best I have had, ever. Then the co-owner, Arash, came to chat with us for 10-15 min. Nice gentleman. Very good experience overall. I would go back just for the fries and crème brulée. Highly recommended.

I've been here multiple times and it's my favourite restaurant in Ottawa. Last time I was serviced by a lovey waitress name Georia (or Georgina) and she was great. Food is really good, fresh and the owner is very friendly. Would deff recommend if you're trying tohost a bday dinner.

This well located hotel close to Sparks and Parliament Hill has nice rooms and a great lobby. The staff was great, everyone super welcoming and helpful. The cafe offers plenty of healthy and delicious food and snack options (and good espresso), and it's open 24 hours which is great for busy trips when you're on the go.

Not much in the way of weights in the fitness room if you're a gym buff, but for the price I'm not mad at it. Overall the Alt Hotel was a great value and I'm happy to recommend it.

I always have an amazing stay at Alt Hotel, and honestly, the whole Le Germain Hotels group just does it right every single time. The management team is incredible — they really know how to make you feel at home and taken care of, no matter which city I stay in.

What I love most is they actually know me by name at this point, and they always add these little personal touches that make such a difference. Last time, they even brought me a tisane at night without me asking — it’s those small details that you remember and appreciate.

The rooms are always spotless and modern, the vibe is calm but welcoming, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. You never feel like just another guest — they go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need.

If you want a stay where you feel like people actually care, I can’t recommend Alt Hotel and the whole Le Germain team enough. They really set the bar for how hotels should be run.

I stay here for work yearly and it never changes. The staff and the rooms are always immaculate and cared for. It’s close to parliament if you’re into that kind of thing. It’s just a quiet trendy gem tucked into a side street. I would recommend staying here.

Pleasant hotel, comfortable bed and convenient location. Staff is courteous and helpful. The room is pleasant. I often travel to Ottawa, and this is by far the best hotel I've been in this price range.

Great location for walking to local eateries and attractions. No parking whatsoever so be prepared for minimum 50 dollar parking somewhere. Very awkward to drop off bags at door as there is no temporary parking other than a small lane on the sidewalk which is usually occupied by taxis and others.

I can’t believe how efficient Alta vista flowers are. Within a few hours my order I made online was delivered and zero delivery charge. The pot of anthuriums was beautiful, fresh and had a bud. Highly recommended and I will use again.

I’m so pleased with the beautiful bouquet that was sent to my mother for her birthday. I am out of town and was hoping to surprise my mom with flowers on her birthday and they’ve done nothing short of a beautiful arrangement and perfectly timed delivery to make my mom’s day so special. The florist is extremely talented and coordinated colours and flowers so perfectly. The handwritten card was a nice touch, can’t thank you enough for everything!

I love these people. I just wish there were an Alta Vista Flowers in every city. But alas, when in Ottawa, this is where I go.

Dave delivered flowers to my parents today, and because it's -1Billion° outside and they weren't home yet, he went WAY above and beyond and found them a warm home in the neighbour's house until my folks could collect them later. He was in full communication with my folks and they knew exactly what was up with their bouquet. Stellar doesn't even begin to describe the care these guys take.

And I ordered the "chef's choice" as it were, leaving the creativity up to the florist.

Wonderful service, they left a very thorough delivery description that let me know exactly where and when the flowers were dropped off.
I ordered the standard wrapped bouquet without knowing what it would look like so I was a bit nervous- but I had no need, the flowers were stunning.
And the cupcake that I ordered with the bouquet looked beautiful too, it was decorated to look like flowers- a very cute touch.
The recipient was so happy that I know I'll be ordering from here again.

If you’re looking to get flowers in Ottawa this is the place to go! I come here whenever I need an arrangement and it always comes out better than I imagined. The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. I ordered a corsage for my niece for an event and audibly gasped when I came to pick it up. So beautifully done and so creative, my niece was over the moon!

Ottawa has needed a space like this for a long time. Always Knew isn’t just another wedding boutique. It’s thoughtful, inclusive, and designed with so much care.

It’s by appointment only, so you can take your time and actually enjoy the process. Every gown comes in two sizes, which means more people can try things on comfortably. The change rooms are huge. The accessory selection is stunning. And every designer is Canadian, which I absolutely love.

This space feels like it was built for real people with real stories. It’s modern, calm, and welcoming in all the ways that matter. Ottawa really needed this, and I’m so glad it’s here.

I had the most wonderful experience at Always Knew I Needed! From the moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed and taken care of. Abby was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely excited to help me find my dress. She really listened to what I was looking for, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made the whole process so much fun and stress-free.

I am wedding photographer, so I've had the opportunity to get to know Abby and Lizzie, the owners of Always Knew I Needed, and they are such wonderful powerhouse humans! I haven't had the opportunity to shop at this new store, but when I first walked in during the opening event, I knew it was going to be an amazing space for brides to find their dresses.

The bridal shop is bright, spacious, and so so welcoming. The decor is CUTE as heck (picture bows.. everywhere). And they carry Canadian designers, which is so important during these times. The staff at Always Knew I Needed are also so welcoming, and so fun, you really can't go wrong with checking out this store when searching for your dress - or even accessories!

This store was by far the best dress shopping experience I had in Ottawa! Lizzie was kind enough to open Always for us after we didn’t find quite what we were looking for at NKIN - I wasn’t sure what to expect but was blown away by the dresses at this store! The selection of Canadian designs is absolutely stunning, every single dress in the store was gorgeous, and they all come in 2 sizes to try on which is incredible. Lizzie was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, most of the dresses can be completely customized to your taste and she did a great job explaining all the options and finding examples of each thing. Every single thing she pulled for me was better than every other dress I’ve tried on elsewhere!

Outside of the selection, Lizzie also did a great job making us feel comfortable, explaining fabrics, helping understand different elements, and just contributing to making it an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re in the market for a wedding dress!

Amar is the best vendor we have hired for our wedding and I am soooo grateful and happy he was part of our day. He did our engagement photoshoot and we fell in love with them. He did our wedding month ago and we are waiting for the photos but sneak peaks have been sooo good. He has a great eye for photos, is very very passionate which you will want for your wedding and is very approachable and responsive. I would not hesitate to have him for your event!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Amar Studio did an incredible job with our photos and videos. The final edits, highlight reels, and full package were amazing. Highly recommend, he did an amazing job for both our outdoor shoot and our wedding. He took time to stage the photos well and patiently helped us get the perfect pictures for our memories. The overall experience was great. Checking in and leaving was so easy. The room and en-suite bathroom were very spacious and the house itself was beautiful. The location was great for accessing downtown, riverside walks, and the byward market.

Breakfast was okay. They provided a pretty sparse continental breakfast. I always love the B&B’s that provide a home cooked meal- so this was a little disappointing.

The windows in the bedroom didn’t open which made the room quite stuffy and hot. They did have a fan, but it still would have been great to let some of the lovely cooler weather in.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ambassador! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. What truly made our experience special was our host, Mya she was incredibly welcoming, kind, and thoughtful throughout our visit. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Thank you, Mya, for being such an amazing host. It was truly our pleasure staying here! We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The house is beautiful. It is old but has a lot of charm. The communication with the host was very good and she was extremely accommodating and helpful. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and very close to downtown and Parlament. It is the second time coming here and we will come back

Overall our experience here was just okay. We arrived around 6PM and we were greeted by the owners teen daughter. She showed us to our room and it was rather awkward. In terms of the room and amenities, they are nothing to write home about. The bathroom was not very clean and there were a lot of small dead bugs on the ceilings. In addition, you can hear every movement in the house, as well as people talking outside, because the walls are so thin. The breakfast was good, definitely the best part of our stay. In the end, we really wanted to like this place but the hospitality is lacking, as was the coziness and cleanliness you would expect for a B&B. Unless you get a really good deal on staying here (less than 75$/ night), I would sooner go to a hotel nearby.

My wife and I had a 5-star stay here, and experienced wonderful service from Irina, who fixed a filling breakfast each morning and provided outstanding advice on seeing the sights. The B&B is in a safe & clean residential area of downtown Ottawa, within walking distance to many embassies, Parliament, museums, restaurants, and shopping. And, it is a great value, as well, especially considering the free parking.

We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant for our wedding! Rev. Bonnie delivered a wonderful, non-religious ceremony that felt perfectly tailored to us. She was so down-to-earth, adding just the right amount of light humor to keep things relaxed and enjoyable. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how personal and heartfelt the ceremony was. Thank you for making our day so special!

A pleasure to work with, she was very responsive and friendly. Included us in every step and was extremely accommodating to everything we envisioned. Every moment of our ceremony was personalized for us, and she included a printed copy for us to take home. We had many changes due to unforeseen circumstances and she was quick to react and edit as necessary. We bonded with her immediately and connected with her on many levels. She was professional and organized, but felt like part of the family by the time the ceremony arrived. We enjoyed every moment working with her and would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone.

My husband and I got married in August 2023, and Bonnie was our officiant.

From the time leading up to the wedding, she was always staying in touch with us, and providing us with a sense of comfort. She knew exactly the questions to ask, and the ideas to suggest, to get to the heart of who we were and what would make our ceremony special. The result was that, our ceremony was beautiful and tailored to us.

Bonnie instilled in us the confidence of knowing that our special day would be overseen by someone who had a sincere, genuine and heartfelt involvement in its success. Bonnie is really such a warm and caring person, and will listen and guide you to find the meaningful ceremony that expresses who you are as a couple. Many of our guests complimented us on how nice the ceremony was. She was easy to work with, and extremely accommodating! I would highly recommend Bonnie.

When we were looking for a non denominational officiant we (luckily) found Bonnie. We ended up meeting with her and we just knew she was the one we wanted to marry us. She took the time to understand us, our wedding vision, and what we were looking for in a ceremony. She offered ideas of ceremonies we could use and was always available for questions through our ceremony planning and vow writing. On the day of the wedding she arrived before the wedding and was a true pro during the wedding, the ceremony was excellent! Afterwards she even kindly waited for us to finish our photos before stepping out since my mother in law had given her her purse to hold thinking she was a guest haha but Bonnie did not mind and just waited patiently. I was so happy we chose her and she was available for our day. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

My husband & I stayed at the Andaz for the 1st time...was not disappointed. The service was impeccable. Ryan at the front desk greeted us with a warm and friendly smile. To our very happy surprise we were upgraded to a corner view which we appreciated very much. The beds & pillows were extremely comfortable. The hotel is an ideal location too. Parking could be a bit better...but we managed. We did have an issue with the AC ...having said that, we did arrive on one of the hottest days of the summer. The evening temp, 10:30pm 34°C...so we took that into consideration,as well as the entire room is windows. We especially loved the access of the ROOFTOP LOUNGE at the hotel and it's spectacular view!!! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

We were impressed by the efficient check-in process by Nathan. He allowed us to check in early, at about 1 pm. We were exhausted after a long flight & his welcoming customer service was absolutely praiseworthy. Thank you so much for making our trip memorable. The hotel is in amazing prime historic location, in walking distance to Parliament, Senate, Basilica, National Gallery & so on. Breakfast in Feast + Revel restaurant was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Thank you for providing us with comfort during or stay at your beautiful hotel!

This is an amazing place to stay. The stuff named Ryan provided an excellent service. They provided us a wheelchair which is so helpful for my mother in law because her foot got injured. When we went to heat food with microwave, Ryan also helped to provide us two sets of cutlery even we didn’t purchase the foods there. He offered us free water bottle whenever we need. There are also two complimentary drink. My husband enjoys it. The room is comfortable. Overall, my family had a great experience. We will definitely revisit here next time. Thanks to Ryan again.

Great location for exploring byward market, pretty hotel with a neat rooftop patio with a great view. The bed itself was comfy, and there was a cute couch and little table. Pillows were absolute worst ever though, flatten like paper, which made for a stiff neck and terrible sleep. Valet service was glitchy and annoying as we kept getting texts that the car was ready without requesting it to be moved at all. Would like better bathroom amenities expected from a higher end hotel, such as mouthwash and makeup remover sheets, but you only get one bar of soap and the refillable bottled shower basics and lotion. Front staff was friendly and we received 2 vouchers for a free glass of wine. Would have been happier to get a voucher for a cappuccino instead as someone who doesn't like wine! (The coffee bar is not free). Upon check in we were excited to be told the room would be stocked with 'drinks and snacks' that were complimentary, but when we went up there was only a single serving bag of plain chips on an otherwise empty tray, which was pretty disappointing. As it is a rough area around the building, it was great to see security personnel watching the main door. There were earplugs in the room for construction noise, but luckily we didn't hear any upon waking up Saturday morning. Overall okay experience but would not stay there again when there are so many other options nearby. Pillows that terrible really ruin it, you can get better quality from giant tiger and this is supposed to be a boutique hotel.

I would like to thank Gee and the team at Andaz ByWard Market. Our teenage daughter was traveling to Ottawa by herself. We wanted a safe, quality hotel for her close to Parliament so she could attend a ceremony. I spoke to Gee directly and was absolutely accommodated and he assured me our daughter would have a wonderful time.... which she did. Working with Andrew was a fantastic experience! His easy-going and professional demeanor immediately put us at ease. Andrew met with us before the wedding to discuss details and he was very thorough in explaining everything to us. The day of, he was great to work with, and we were absolutely thrilled when he posted a sneak peek of our wedding video that very night – it was such a special treat to relive a small part of our day so quickly! When we received the full video, we were blown away by how beautifully he captured every detail, emotion, and moment. The way he wove everything together felt so natural and cinematic, and we will truly treasure it forever. Initiative - There are ample ways in which Andrew took initiative. He brought additional equipment beyond what was agreed upon in the original contract to add old-style film to our video, did a thorough review of my itinerary and provided suggestions to ensure the day went as seamlessly and smooth as possible and even helped steam my dress on the day-of.

Presence – Andrew was able to capture all important moments without being  “in the way” of anyone or anything and did not alter plans to curate his video. He blended in perfectly well.

Pricing – Andrew’s pricing is extremely fair and reasonable compared to his counterparts.

Professionalism and punctuality – Andrew arrived 30 minutes early to get a lay of the land and brainstorm ideas to film the essence and uniqueness of our day. Not only this, but Andrew stayed later than asked to cover extra footage.

My maid of honour got married 3 weeks prior to me and opted out of hiring a videographer and regretted it after seeing everything that Andrew did for us.

We had our wedding on August 1, 2024, and hiring Andrew June as our videographer was one of the best decisions we made. Initially, we were a little hesitant about bringing in a videographer, we didn’t want someone constantly directing us or interrupting the flow of our day. But Andrew completely exceeded our expectations. He was like a fly on the wall, capturing all the moments without ever feeling intrusive.

The final video felt incredibly personal and unique to our story. Andrew has a true talent for storytelling through film, and it’s clear he puts thought and heart into every project. We also loved being able to rewatch the ceremony and speeches and relive our big day! Throughout the editing process, he maintained open and consistent communication, keeping us updated on timelines and making sure we were happy every step of the way.

I absolutely loved her presence on my wedding day. She made me feel so comfortable on my wedding day and I loved being able to chat with her and get to know her a bit throughout the crazy day. I'm not a natural at posing, but all the photos came out amazing. The candid ones truly show all the emotions of the day. We had a lot of crazy weather on our wedding day (torrential rain, sun, rainbows) and Anne-Marie captured it all beautifully. I couldn't have chosen a better photographer for my wedding day!

I'm not sure where to begin in my praise and adoration for Anne-Marie and the work she does. I first meet Anne-Marie when she photographed my best friend's wedding in 2012. When I got engaged a year later I knew I wanted her to shoot my wedding since she had done such a fantastic job with my friend.

Anne-Marie is beyond professional, all while being friendly, lovely and so easy to work with. She is accommodating and makes everyone feel at ease. Our guests even commented on how stealth she was at the wedding! People were very impressed by her professionalism and ability to capture a moment without ruining our guests experience, as some photographers can be intrusive, Anne-Marie is far from that!

Anne-Marie captured our day perfectly. My husband, myself, our family and friends are all in love with her beautiful photos. I am beyond thankful for her ability to flawlessly capture our big day and tell a beautiful story with her images.

It is also worth noting that my wedding was in Toronto and Anne-Marie traveled with zero issue and was very accommodating to our schedule.

Earlier this year, my wife and I were fortunate enough to have Anne-Marie photograph our engagement session as well as our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Our family loves Anne-Marie! Anne-Marie has been our go-to photographer for several years. She did our engagement and wedding photos and when our son arrived we did a newborn shoot followed by family photos to mark his first birthday. When we first met Anne-Marie we knew she would be the perfect photographer for us because not only did we LOVE her photo style, but she is an incredibly warm person. She is someone you enjoy spending time with to capture the special moments in your wedding day or with your newborn.

Anne-Marie's photos are amazingly beautiful and she has a way of putting you at ease and making you feel comfortable and natural, which was very important to us. The images themselves are beautiful, Anne-Marie uses natural light to create gorgeous photos whether indoors our outdoors. We have had both film and digital photos and they are equally stunning. I cannot recommend AMBphoto enough!

DO NOT DEAL with this company, ever! I was at the Ottawa store in mid-May and ordered a dress to be shipped to me. I received the dress a week later. The dress had no tags and had a defect below the zipper. I called customer service and arranged for it to be exchanged. I was provided an exchange order number and I was given a return waybill (return address Ottawa). I returned the dress (delivery confirmed), then waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. I called customer service, and I was told that my return is being processed. I waited more, called again, and I was told that the new dress is being shipped. I waited again, and called again. Time and time again I was told lies. In the meantime, the wedding that I was supposed to wear this dress to (June 21st) had come and gone. I called customer service again and told them to cancel the order. Weeks later, the dress has still not been refunded, and I had no choice but to open a dispute with my credit card company. To my surprise, Anthropologie provided my bank a bogus "invoice" showing that the dress was 'refunded', which is a complete lie. I am continuing my dispute, and I am willing to take legal action against them even if it means paying more for legal services. At this point, this is a matter of principle.

Extremely disappointing experience today. Spent half an hour at the store and picked a sale item with a $29 tag from the clearance section; it was the last of that item. At the cashier, they said the computer shows $150. The manager comes and says that she won’t honour the sale tag price that they themselves posted. She proceeds to tell me how knowledgeable she is and that she does not need to honour any price. Instead of acknowledging their mistake and providing an explanation, she decided to make it about her and make the customer feel small. Is this really representative of Anthropologie? When I left the store, I checked online and saw that retailers in our country uphold the Scanner Price Accuracy Code. I didn’t go back to show her, because honestly she is so small and disrespectful that I did not want to face that attitude again. I’m posting this so that someone above her can see this and have a frank conversation with her. Not only was her approach so unnecessary, she also intentionally decides not to uphold the Scanner Price Accuracy Code. Perhaps consider taking your business elsewhere

It used to be one of my favourite stores to shop but not sure about it anymore. Lately I’ve noticed a surge in young employees and they don’t greet customers like the past, I walked in with my friend and I smiled / made eye contact with the first female employee- she glared at me and no response, then I made eye contact with the employee at cashier- same reaction and she quickly glanced away. Perhaps spend sometime training the young employees so they can improve the overall shopping experience!

I had the pleasure to deal with Theresa. I had a return that she was helping me with and accidentally i had returned other items that didnt belong to Anthropologie. She was so helpful and kind offered to mail them back for me. That was my only commute but I must say she went above and beyond my expectations and hope to visit this location one day.

Disappointing shopping experience. Although stores may not be “expected” to honor the marked price on an item, as a courtesy to a client that has taken the time to try it and decide to purchase it, it only seems fair to sell it at the price that is marked and advertised. 5 of the same garment were priced the same. In my opinion, it’s basic retail etiquette to honor the price on the tag and respect any additional discounts that is advertised at the entrance of the store. It wasn't a huge lost for them. Had intended on purchasing 2 items but decided to leave with nothing.
Disappointed as I shop here frequently. Won’t be returning for a while. I understand mistakes happen but accountability matters also.
