One of the nicest spots I’ve been to downtown. The drinks were so well made and exactly what I was looking for. The ambiance is beautiful—cozy but still lively, with music and lighting that makes you want to stay longer. The staff were really friendly and made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!

11:59 was the perfect cocktail bar/lounge for a girls night! I came here after dinner and the vibe and aesthetic was exactly what I was looking for - quiet and dreamy, and ideal for late night chats. The cocktails were amazing - our favourites were the Amethyst and Coconut Noir (the best espresso martini!). For food, we had the charcuterie board and beef sliders, both of which were great bites to snack on! Can’t wait to come back to try their other cocktails and snacks!

Cozy cafe-turned-bar! Spacious and pretty decent seating. Good volume for easy conversation without it feeling too quiet. Relatively casual but the drinks were good too. 11:59 and pear sour were my favourites. The melon blossom was not good at all. Do not get that one. Otherwise I would totally come back for drinks! Good menu was very limited but to be expected from a bar. I didn’t try anything as nothing really appealed to me. Overall pretty good experience.

No bill splitting for >= 6 people and 18% gratuity is included.

We recently hosted a private graduation party for our university class of 90 people, and the experience was absolutely flawless. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond, exceeding all our expectations. The event was held from 7-11 pm, and we loved the fact that we could curate our own playlist, which they played seamlessly throughout the evening – it really helped set the perfect vibe!

The food and drinks were outstanding, with a variety that pleased every guest. They even went the extra mile to accommodate dietary restrictions, ensuring everyone felt included. A huge thank you to Kate for her incredible help in organizing the event. She was attentive, detail-oriented, and truly made the planning process a breeze.

We hosted our engagement party at 11:59 this past Saturday and I can't recommend this venue and their incredible team enough! From start to finish, the experience was flawless.

Kate, the Events Coordinator, was a dream to work with. She ensured every detail was perfect and made the planning process seamless. Kate was quick to respond to emails, provided thoughtful recommendations for food and drinks (which were *chef's kiss*), and went above and beyond to ensure everything was labeled for our guests with food allergies and sensitivities. On the day of the event, she handled setup and teardown with ease and even stepped in as our backup bartender - and absolutely rocked it!

Isabella, our server for the evening, was equally incredible. She managed food service for our 50 guests with care, professionalism, and impressive speed. She checked in throughout the night to make sure everything was going smoothly and that we were happy - and we absolutely were!

The food was a huge hit with all of our guests, and the espresso martinis are to die for! Everyone is still raving about the cocktails and vibes.

The entire team at 11:59 was phenomenal and I’d highly recommend them for private events, date nights, girls’ nights, you name it. If you’re looking for a venue with excellent service, fantastic food, and a team that truly cares about making your event special, 11:59 is the place to go.

This intimate restaurant surprises with thoughtful cooking and warm, attentive service. Each dish was crafted with balance and care, elevating familiar flavors into something memorable.
We began with Tiger Shrimp-five plump shrimp in a creamy white wine and garlic sauce, rich and refined. The Beets & Goat Cheese Salad offered contrast: roasted beets, goat cheese, orange, and seeds over fresh greens, all tied together with a house balsamic dressing. A raspberry sorbet intermezzo was a refreshing and elegant pause before the mains.
The Beef Truffle Pasta was indulgent: tagliatelle tossed with tender beef tenderloin in a velvety truffle cream, finished with Parmesan. The Duck-while its skin wasn't crisp-was flavorful and tender, its sweet orange reduction complemented by caramelized fig, apple, and oven-roasted potatoes.
We ended with a Polish Pavlova and a chocolate brownie, both well-executed, along with a smooth Americano.
Every plate impressed. We'll be back-and soon.

Very late post… Our dinner started with an amuse bouche of seared beef with warm slices of crostini's which are made in house everyday, all this labour of love and no wonder they're only opened for dinner. Followed by Antipasti of Fresh tiger shrimp in white wine sauce and Paste of fruite de mare made of al dente Linguine with fresh seafood (mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, crab leg, calamari) in homemade tomato sauce.
I find the starters and mains we tried leaned heavily towards an Italian heritage. Their desserts is where it expands into different European territories, with a small but varied selection we decided on apple tart and chocolate souffle which came with a warning of a 12 minute wait. I was really excited for the soufflé but what actually arrives would generally be considered a molten lava cake. While it was a very good rendition of the dessert not too sweet and chocolatey I would have preferred it a bit more airy.
At the end of the meal which is very traditional formal European dining, a digestif shots of either lemoncello or Zoladkowa Gorzka (an herby orange liqueur), was offered to us. Overall it was a very good meal with beautiful atmosphere and amazingly friendly attentive but not overbearing Staff. This restaurant really made me feel I was in Europe and I must say a very good addition to the neighbourhood.

After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to dining at 12 Tables, however, the food was quite disappointing. For starters, we ordered the Wagyu meatball and mussels. I can say the only good thing about the Starters were both sauce are decent...but both dishes were overcooked, and also both didn't blend well the sauce..

For the main course, we had the seafood pasta (frutti di mare). The pasta was slightly too firm and could have been softer. The sauce was fine, but the shrimp was overcooked, and the squid, along with the rest of the seafood, was nothing special.

The biggest disappointment was the duck. When I cut into it, the meat quickly fell apart, almost as if the chef had mashed it together and covered it with the skin. The texture was not tender—it resembled meat typically found in soup. The only redeeming quality of the dish was its presentation, which was well done.

On a positive note, I appreciated the complimentary bread (although it was cold) and the small side dish. Additionally, after the starters, they provided a raspberry sorbet to cleanse the palate, which was a nice touch.

What saved this experience from a lower rating was the service. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making this review a three stars..if only the chef improves their cooking skills, the overall experience would have been a lot better.

P.s. Parking isn't easy here...

We have been to this restaurant a number of times. It’s conveniently on Avenue Rd and parking is usually easy. The restaurant only has 12 tables and it’s always full in weekends. We enjoyed each visit. All the dishes were created in house. I love all we ordered. Except the sea bass was a bit disappointment at one time. The black cord is tender and well favored. The orange ducking comes with some yummy fruits that added nice flavors to the dish, wish it comes with some green veg instead of too many grilled potatoes…well they were so yummy but just too filling of ‘meat and potatoes’ kind of dish. The prices are reasonable and the service is always good.

I found 12 Tables on Google, read their reviews, and decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant (clean, classy, but also cozy) friendly and attentive staff (Amber was amazing), and the food (we loved the Caesar salad, lobster pasta which was a daily special, and all deserts!). They surprised us with a dessert plate with a “Happy Anniversary” message in the end which made our evening extra special. We will definitely go back.

I needed a bartender for a small backyard birthday party and a friend recommended Alessandro and 1st Call Events. The whole process from start to finish was seamless. He provided a shopping list to me beforehand based on the amount of people and the custom cocktails we came up with together. The bartender Tash who came was warm, engaging, neat and organized. She was go with the flow and tidied up at the end. I would highly recommend them!

Working with Alessandro and his team was amazing from start to finish. Not only are they professional, prompt, and skilled at what they do, but they are also friendly! I'd highly recommend them.

My partner and I had an amazing experience staying at this place in the beginning of September. The suites were very beautiful and clean like in the pictures. The area is great, too - downtown, tons of cafes and restaurants, and the overall vibe is great. Definitely would recommend and come here again!

I had a terrific experience staying here in November 2018. The apartment was immaculate and perfectly equipped. The location, square in the heart of Kensington Market, was great--very convenient for U of T, where I spent the week, but also for the rest of the city. Highly recommended--with much enthusiasm and gratitude for the owners' hospitality.

When I first walked into the store, my eyes were darting everywhere because there are too many beautiful things. Such a good inventory of storage and curated items to make the house a home.

I bought a colorful crate for my office drawer, and different photo frame accessories. Happy with all my purchases and will definitely return another time.

Great place to buy colourful crates and unique items. Sometimes the staff doesn’t know the products too well - I asked one employee to weigh in on incense (specifically how fast it would burn, thinking it would burn more slowly based on the price $$$ and material), but the person had no idea and so I ended up purchasing it and being disappointed. I will do more research before next purchase, but will definitely go back to this store.

Great products but not a smile to be found in the place. It's too bad they can't send you out the door with a desire to return.

An amazing store with such a great range of products to bring some beauty to your home, 313 has something for all budgets. I purchased some pillows and they were able to hold them for me until I could come back with a car.

Customer service was great in the summer when I was able to shop in person and they also had free local delivery that I was able to use in lockdown.

Had an absolutely brilliant experience getting my wedding dress altered here! The team is so kind and detail oriented, they figured out ways to enhance my dress to suit my body that wouldn’t have even occurred to me - and the final result speaks for itself! I purchased my dress at a sample sale and it needed complex modifications including at the bust and back. Above and beyond! I would recommend to anyone looking for wedding dress alterations, especially complex ones. Thank you team! ♥️

I brought my mom's wedding dress from the 80s to Lilit at Third Floor Tailors to alter it for my wedding. I had some vague idea about altering the sleeves and neckline, and what Lilit and the team created was beyond my wildest dreams. Dress fitting appointments were my favourite part of wedding planning. Lilit and Natasha were always so warm and kind at every appointment, and the attention to detail in the dress is out of this world. I felt so comfortable talking to Lilit about the things I liked in the dress, and the things I wanted to change because she was so kind and sweet and open to all of my feedback. They also did some smaller alterations to my reception/after party wedding dress and a day-after wedding-brunch dress that I wanted shortened. I cannot recommend this team enough for any kind of dress alterations you are looking for, big or small.

Lilit and Natasha at Third Floor Tailors made my bridal alterations experience nothing short of perfection. If you're considering where to have your dress altered, you can stop looking now because this is where you must go. I promise you will not be disappointed; instead you will leave with a dress you never thought could possibly look so freaking perfect on your frame.

Going to their studio was like therapy for a busy bride – they took such care with each session and gave my dress the attention it deserved in each step of the process. I felt so comfortable and welcome in their studio, with every ridiculous question I had answered without judgement, and every curiosity we explored together. We altered my dress quite a bit, and she turned out more perfect than I could have ever imagined.

3rd Floor Tailoring is amazing. Aside from working on a tight timeframe so that I could fly back home with my dress, they were collaborative, insightful and just lovely to work with! Third Floor is exactly the service you want for wedding dress alterations. They take their time, do not rush into making drastic adjustments, and give you frank advice on what if flattering or worth doing. My dress alterations included adjusting the bust, the shoulders, and hemming the dress. Every appointment was efficient, scheduled well in advance and were able to accomodate last minute changes to my schedule and final fitting. Thank you!

416 flowers was able to create two wreaths for a funeral that was the next morning for me. The customer service was excellent and they suggested me to request same day delivery since funeral was early morning. The wreath arrived within a few hours after the placed the order. I called since it was a time sensitive order. I was satisfied with their service and how quickly it was deliver. Family of the deceased said that they were beautiful too. The wreath was in excellent condition but the flowers on the standing spray look a little wither, but I understand it may not look as good since it was delivered a day before the funeral. Prices were better than some of the competitors. I like that they are local in toronto and was able to deliver last minute. Note need to order before 2pm local time.

We ordered 3 flower arrangements for our dear friend's funeral visitation.
They were so beautifully arranged and the flowers were very fresh.
A lot of care went into putting them together and 416-Flowers followed my request and ensured the flowers were at the funeral home on time.

I received my flowers that I paid $239.51 for my daughter's university graduation ceremony. I was so disappointed as I expected a beautiful bouquet for a graduation, but instead I got a punch of flowers tied up in a plastic bag with an elastic band and some greenery that I paid extra $9.99 for. I asked Nina who took my order to ensure that the flowers would be in a bouquet wrapped with tissue paper. There is 1 loose sheet of tissue paper and not even a ribbon was used to tie the flowers. I also indicated many times that my daughter only wanted white peonies and if there was not enough white peony, then to replace them with another white flower instead. Now, I see that there are some pink peonies and most of the flowers are not even blooming yet at this point. I am really unhappy with this as I paid $20 more for the customization and it was not what I thought it would be. I wrote to the company on the same day, Thursday, June 12 when I got the flowers, 1 day before the graduation ceremony to express my unhappiness. But I did not receive a response back till Monday, June 16 and got just an apology that the presentation of the flowers fell short, but it was not even close to a bouquet. Also, the response I got was that the flowers were in a punch, because I did not purchase a vase. How many times do I need to say that the flowers were to be used for a graduation ceremony. I had to make it into a presentable bouquet for the graduation. I would not buy from this company ever again as it will be a waste of money and disappointment.

I ordered my mom flower's for Mothers Day and they arrived brown, wilted and nearly dead (see the photos). These flower's were $89.00 as I paid for the premium delivery fee to ensure they were delivered on Mother's Day. When I asked for a refund, they ignored my emails and sent another arrangement almost a week later. Not only was this not what I asked for, but the second arrangement was STILL incomplete as they didn't add in the babies breath i paid an extra $10 for. . Their response was that they believed they did their due diligence and refused a refund. Totally a money hungry business, who does not care about their clients or the integrity of the service they provide. Huge disappointment. I wouldn't trust this service with anything mildly important to you.

Poor experience! I arranged birthday flowers to my friend. She likes purple colour and I chose the flower selection from purple section. I understand flowers can be changed but I don't expect the flowers arrangement and color tone would be changed too. They didn't contact you for the change and just sent it over directly.

If it is just a blind box, then why do we need to choose the flowers from pictures with different prices? You can see from the photos, they are 2 different things.

I complaint, the customer service just sent me their policy stating the flowers are subjected to change. 😤😤

I recently attended an event here and I honestly can’t say enough good things. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond. They were insanely helpful, kind, and genuinely cared about making sure everything ran smoothly. Anything we asked for, they made it happen. The best B & B we have been to. Friendly, welcoming & fun place to stay. Jamie’s breakfasts will be missed. A fantastic cook. Cabbagetown is a great multicultural area with plenty to see & do as well as many great places to dine. It is also walking distance to the centre of town. Jamie & Allan were perfect hosts. We will miss their humour, great suggestions of places to explore & of course how at home they made us feel.

An amazing Bed and Breakfast in Toronto. We had a great time interacting with Alan and he made us some great eggs benedict and waffles for breakfast! We could not have wished for a better place to stay!

AAA Yorkdale Limo was absolutely fantastic and played a big part in making our wedding day run smoothly and in style. The limo was spotless, luxurious, and arrived right on time, with a professional driver who was courteous, friendly, and completely on top of every detail. They made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of from start to finish, adding an extra touch of elegance and ease to the day. We couldn’t have asked for better service—AAA Yorkdale Limo truly delivered beyond expectations!

We had a party bus (16-18 people) for our wedding on July 12th, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Initially, Sami was great to deal with, however, he wasn't the driver on our day and was difficult to deal with after. The biggest issue was that the air conditioning was completely broken on a very hot as day. It was incredibly uncomfortable, and by the time we arrived, we were all hot and sweaty. The driver told us right off the bat that it was broken.
On top of that, our driver took us on an incorrect route, which made us 25 minutes late for our own ceremony. This added a lot of unnecessary stress to an already hectic day.
When we contacted the owner after the wedding to complain about the air conditioning, he was dismissive and claimed it was working perfectly fine and that he had checked it himself. We even requested a partial refund due to the significant issues we experienced, but the owner flatly declined. It was only after I told him my review would reflect his poor response that he offered to give us a future ride in Suburban, which isn't useful to us. He said he'll talk to driver for the future, but that doesn't help us at all, after the fact.
The driver should have been trained to handle a simple issue like the broken AC, and the owner's response and refusal to offer any meaningful compensation is truely unfortunate, especially after being so nice during the booking. This lack of attention to detail and poor customer service is unacceptable for a special event like a wedding. We would not use them again.

I would also note that the party bus for 16-18 people was extremely tight for 16 average sized adults (8 men, 8 women wedding party). Unless you're 14 people or less, I wouldn't recommend going with the party bus.

I booked this on my VISA Avion points months ago. It was a good deal so and trusted it. The day of my check in day came I received NO INFORMATION. It was clear that this was a airbnb type of situation with no front desk, which I was ok with, but the property did not provide a condo #, and combination to get into the building, Absolutely NO COMMUNICATION. I texted them and called them with no answer. I contacted VISA Avion and they could not reach the property either. I had to find alternate last minute accommodations. My check in day was yesterday and I still have not heard anything from these guys. DO NOT BOOK THIS

Recently booked this thru expedia for td because i was attending the eras tour, this place is amazing. The location is very close to the arena, and its in the heart of toronto, the communication was very smooth. Mind you, this is a rental place or airbnb so they will send you instruction about the check in process. It was easy to get in and out of the building. I had read horror stories about the elevator not working but we never had issues. There are i think 5 elevators at the 14 york. The room was very clean, my only regret is i wished i had stayed longer.

WARNING -- I am giving Aaira Suites one star because there is no option for zero stars. I arrived at the location and could not reach the property owner by phone or text although I tried multiple times. Travelocity -- the booking agent -- was also unable to reach the property owner. As a result, my daughter and I were left outside and had to book another place at the last minute.

As for Travelocity, they have effectively washed their hands and told me there is nothing they can do. I have been stiffed for CDN $260 for a rental unit I was never able to enter. This is a disgraceful way for Travelocity to treat a longstanding customer.

I would never book with these people again.

This place is awful.

3pm checkin on hotels.com, but when the day of my stay came, my instructions said 3:30.

I called the number on my way to the hotel 20 minutes prior to arrival as instructions stated, and nobody answered. Texted, and no answer.

I arrive, and nobody is there to hand off a key. Concierge tells us these guys never answer the call, and they get angry people staying here all the time.

Finally reach him, and he tells me I needed to use "WhatsApp" to message him, not phone or text. My wife and I then have to wait 30 minutes for somebody to bring us a key. I don't get into the room until after 4pm.

Inside the room, and theres dirt everywhere, and mold in the bathroom. Room is advertised with kitchen utensils, but only 1 fork, 8 butter knives and 4 spoons. Coffee machine has no filter, so couldnt be used. Two pots and a pan, non stick, but scratched to all hell, making them a health hazard to use.

Room was on the 32nd floor facing downtown Toronto. Everyone can see inside, and the curtains which were the vertical slatted type, were missing sections, so you can't even take your clothes off in your room with privacy.

Typical slumlord Air B&B owner. Avoid at all costs.

Had to cancel my reservation because no one was getting back to me about anything! (Calling and emailing) Didn’t receive an email about what apartment I was in or how to get in. AVOID. They will take your money an leave you high and dry. Very unprofessional. 👎🏻👎🏻 Expedia should drop this rental it won’t be good for their reputation.

On the day of our wedding, we had Richard as our driver. He was fantastic. We were on time the entire day. The red carpet and champagne was such a nice touch. We had a large wedding party and there was more than enough room for all of us to feel comfortable in the vehicle.

After reaching out to several limo companies, AB Limo was a breath of fresh air. From my first phone conversation with Ed, I knew I was in good hands. He was patient, personable and accommodating, and we booked a stretch SUV limo for our party of 10. Ed even offered to have me come and take a look at the limo prior to the wedding to ensure it was to my liking. In a fortuitous turn of events, Ed ended up upgrading our limo to a party bus for no additional charge since the limo we had reserved required some last minute repairs to the AC. The limo bus was a hit with our bridal party, and our driver Richard was just as personable and professional as Ed. Despite the long distances we had to travel on our wedding day, Richard got us everywhere on time (despite the traffic)! I previously purchased a frame for my daughter's art work. I went back to get a matte for my frame and found Kody ( framer) very helpful and knowledgeable about his mattes and frames. The prices were affordable and once it was completed I was very pleased with the end product. I would recommend Aboveground's framing dept and Kody to others.

This art supply store is my favourite in the city nothing can top it. The associates are quite nice and overall if you need help figuring something out they are helpful, alongside the ocad students who are always kind and welcoming. Keep it up!!

So grateful to have such a nice art store in the city. Their house brand of sketchbooks, pencils and other art supplies cannot be beat for the price and value, especially when on sale. Kody is an extremely knowledgable, kind, helpful and informative framer here at Aboveground! He made the process of choosing a size, mat, and wood type incredibly smooth in creating a custom frame of my friend's work. They had a wide variety of frame types and mats, as well as pre-made frames in standard sizes to choose from! Kody was very collaborative and had lots of great ideas on how best to display the work. The service was very reasonably priced and had a quick turn-around, especially for a custom piece - I was moving so I had a hard deadline! I'm so excited to hang the piece in my new place and really appreciate all of Kody and the staff at Aboveground's hard work!
