We hired Amber Walker Events for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner, located at Navy Hall, on the grounds of Fort George in Niagara-on-the-Lake. I had a vision of bringing the War of 1812 to our guests at this venue. From the start, Amber and her associate, Bradley, were excited to go to work to bring this vision to life. Their ideas and suggestions really brought this event to the next level. Complete with a re-enactment on the grounds, Amber and Bradley transformed the space into a grand dining room, circa 1812, complete with British flag items, period furniture, gorgeous rich tapestries, flag-themed candles, and color coordinated fresh flowers which adorned beautiful table linens. The entire space was transformed to a period in history, which not only accentuated the architecture of the building itself, but brought it to a level of sophisticated elegance for a modern day event. Amber and Bradley were an absolute joy to work with. Their passion for their work was genuine and professional and their attention to detail was superior. They were flexible, reliable, and on top of everything at all times, allowing our family and our guests to relax and enjoy a truly magnificent and memorable evening. They knocked it out of the park!

I am genuinely someone who gets anxious easily. Before the wedding, I was really worried about whether the floral arrangements would meet expectations and whether I would have to pretend to like them on my wedding day. When I shared these concerns with my friends, they all told me, "Oh, you’re using Amor for the florals? Then there’s definitely no need to worry—you can relax." On the wedding day, aside from being deeply moved, I was just deeply moved. It was truly so beautiful. To be honest, when I saw the massive team of over ten or twenty people showing up at my wedding venue to set up, I was stunned. I later found out that each flower had to be added stem by stem. Starting as early as 4:30 a.m., the entire team worked on creating all the floral arrangements—it was truly hard work for everyone involved. The result was absolutely stunning, far exceeding our expectations. We really, really, really loved it so much.

I can't say enough good things about Amor Wedding! They went above and beyond to make my bridal shower absolutely amazing. Zoe is such a joy to work with — her warmth, communication, and expertise in the field are truly exceptional. She made everything feel so seamless and special. I am compelled to share my extremely disappointing experience with Amor Weddings to warn other potential clients about their concerning business practices.

During our lunch we witnessed an Amor Weddings employee made the unacceptable decision to vandalize property by cutting tree branches from private property in Toronto. This act of property damage was not only unprofessional but potentially illegal, demonstrating a complete disregard for client property and basic business ethics.

This behaviour raises serious questions about their hiring practices, employee supervision, and overall commitment to professional standards.

Property damage during wedding services is completely unacceptable and suggests a lack of proper training and oversight.

came to Amore Nights last night with friends, and ended up leaving within 15 minutes due to a really uncomfortable experience. I’d give zero stars if I could, but had to give one to write this review.

Our experience was pretty poor right from the get go in terms of communication, specifically regarding the pat down for entry. There wasn’t even a line, so I don’t understand why there seemed to be a miscommunication/lack of communication from the staff about what their security check was like. When we walked in security said it was a ‘bag check’ and then after they checked the security guard (female) asked to do a pat down. My thought was that it would be similar to an airport pat down, a little awkward, but just a quick + light skim. Instead it was aggressive with genitalia groping that went under my skirt and was completely unexpected + non-consensual. Really invasive for seemingly no reason, especially considering I wasn’t wearing baggy clothes at all. Even if I was, blatantly and harshly grabbing at my CROTCH was not what i agreed or consented to. We basically left immediately after that, sitting downstairs (in a completely empty club at 11:30 on a Saturday night…) for a few minutes and then leaving because my friends and I were uncomfortable.

So yeah, will NOT be returning.

This was one of the worst experiences.
There was so many people in the security and there was literally 10 customers inside.

They patted us down which was invasive and highly inappropriate. The security person said you and I are same gender. It was so inappropriate in so many levels as we thought it will be a regular airport check.
They did not have any metal detectors or hand detectors.

Next, they said they would provide a free champagne which was only a marketing gimmick. Then they said sorry we will give free drink but did not have ice. The coke the as flat. Overall it was one of the worst experiences.

We left the place soon.

I will not be returning and I will advise anyone who is planning to go against it. It is free but it will be you ruining your night.

My group and I came here for Caribana weekend and booked the Platinum Bottle Service package.
Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. Security made many of us uncomfortable with how aggressively they patted people down — it felt invasive and was a clear violation, especially when they were going up near people’s private areas.

Even with bottle service, we waited almost 50 minutes in line to get in. You’d think the club would be packed with that kind of delay, but it wasn’t — and this was already around 1 a.m.

The service was terrible. I had to hunt down our server just to get the basic items that were supposed to be included in our package — things like Red Bulls, bottled water, and food. If I’m paying for bottle service, these things should already be at the table. There’s no reason I should have to chase anyone for them.

The pizza included in the package was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. It tasted like frozen pizzas that wasn’t even fully cooked in the oven.

To make things worse, gratuity was automatically added — $325, which was 18% — and honestly, the service didn’t even deserve 5%.

The overall atmosphere was just okay, but I will say the music was great.

Mixed feelings about this place as I was not happy with the way security was done. The pat down of customers is totally sexual in nature as they allow female security staff to check male customers, and this female will check between the crotch of male client, and checking inside your sneakers as if you’re going through airport security.
I am not averse to the security check but the manner in which it was done is out of place. Please note they have male securities standing by who can do thorough check with male client, or at least get a metal detector to help perform the security checks, rather than violating your client in the name of security.

I came here this past weekend with some friends. They check bags and pat you down before entry. This on its own wouldn’t be an issue, however when checking my bag they just shook my items and confiscated my lighter, but did not actually look inside my coin purse or anything. However when doing the pat down, the female security guard was very violating, and thoroughly felt up my genitals through my mini skirt, even going into my shorts underneath. I have never been so violated by a security pat down, not even at the airport. To quite literally grope me and touch my vagina but to not even fully look in my bag is insane, it didn’t feel like they were doing it for the sake of security in the slightest. Making it a female security guard does not change the fact that I was genuinely groped without even being made aware how thorough the check would be on my body, ESPECIALLY considering they did not even completely check my bag. I am not the type to leave negative reviews, but I would give zero stars if I could. Ladies especially, please know and prepare to be violated for the sake of “security” if you do plan on attending.

I wanted some cupcakes as treat and was extremely happy with our choices. We got a lavender type cupcake and a pumpkin spice type. Wow! We’re not normally fans of those flavour profiles but we’re were pleasantly surprised. They were lovely. The flavour was there but it wasn’t overwhelming. The cake was moist and soft. The sprinkles we think are made in house? - if they are, amazing. We don’t normally like sprinkles either but these were identical to the frosting. So sweet but very refined. Excellent offerings and we will be back, if you read this you should give this local spot a try and enjoy!

We celebrated my daughter’s first birthday at Ampersand Bakehouse, and it was absolutely perfect! Stephanie was incredibly accommodating and a pleasure to work with, making the planning process seamless. The cupcakes and smash cake were adorable. The existing décor was exactly what we were looking for, and the few decorations we brought blended beautifully. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the kid-friendly toys and a floor mat for babies to crawl and play on—it made the space feel so welcoming for little ones. Our guests had a great time and had lots of positive feedback. I would highly recommend Ampersand Bakehouse for any young child’s birthday celebration!

I love popping into Ampersand with my kiddo! The coffee’s good, the treats (I love their cinnamon apple scones, vanilla sprinkle cupcakes and basically all their cookies) are even better and I can relax while my kid plays with the toy train set. Even better is their recent addition of stocking romance books! I bought a couple as gifts and can’t wait to go back to get myself some new books. I also just ordered their holiday cookie box (see pic) and the cookies were a hit with my relatives. Ampersand is a gem!

I googled "best cupcakes east Toronto" for my son's birthday and happily came upon Ampersand. They have a great menu, the service was friendly and they accommodated our last-minute order. I've been on the hunt for that nostalgic cupcake experience from my childhood and I'm pretty consistently disappointed with either the cake or the icing but Ampersand's vanilla sprinkle cupcakes were 10/10. Not too sweet but dense and delightful. Baby LOVED his "smash cupcake". We will absolutely be ordering again and visiting when we can.

He made my dad look like a million bucks, and more importantly, made him feel like it too. You can tell David knows his craft and genuinely cares about what he does.

Went to Andrew’s Formals to rent a tux for my own wedding. Maryann was a godsend. I had the idea going in that I would rent a black tux, and during the process, she showed me a blue tux she thought I’d look good in. Sure enough, it was the color I chose for the wedding. I looked great because of her! She was so helpful, so easy to work with, and was very accommodating given I live abroad. The price was also great given the service and the quality of the suit. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic local formalwear rental business. Andrew’s really came through when I had to attend a funeral on short notice when I was visiting Toronto from out of town. They provided everything the same day (including suit, shirt, shoes, and accessories), and were extremely accommodating and helpful with an outfit that was exactly the right type of well-tailored and understated style I needed for the event. Huge thanks for coming through in a pinch, and would not hesitate to rent from Andrew’s again.

Please be advised that this establishment, also known as Ghalib Homestay on other platforms, is not recommended. The address is the same. It was the worst lodging experience of my life. I reserved a room for 15 days, but upon inspecting it, I immediately requested a refund from the owner within the first hour, which was denied. Despite staying only one night, I was not even given a 50% refund. Furthermore, the space is extremely cramped, with inadequate cleaning, no kitchen for cooking, and insufficient heating. Additionally, there is a shared living arrangement in the backyard if you have not reserved both rooms.

I paid CAD 1500 for a three-night stay and promptly vacated the premises upon finding a more suitable accommodation. The conditions were so unacceptable that I forfeited approximately CAD 1200 that the owner should have reimbursed.

Hi am OBSESSED with my engagement ring. I was able to go in, pick out the stone and setting that I liked with my loved ones. Amy provided my partner and I so much guidance and allowed me to try other styles that I may not have thought to try. I wish I could give Anthi more than 5 stars!!! They designed my wedding florals and absolutely CRUSHED IT. Giorgio met with me several times to discuss the vision and walk me through several options. With access to so much content on social media, it's so hard to settle on a design, or put your vision into words, but Giorgio was so patient with me and was able to take what I had in my head, apply his creative gift, and create the most elevated dream florals!! They were beyond what I could even imagined, and we are still getting messages from guests about how incredible our flowers were. I wish I could re-do the day just to be in the presence of the florals again. I would HIGHLY recommend Anthi and will not hesitate to use them again and again. HUGE THANK YOU TO GIORGIO AND THE ANTHI TEAM!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Of our entire wedding day last fall, Anton Park was by far our favourite vendor out of all vendors hired, and was the best decision we ever made in hiring him. His videography is cinematic and story-telling in a breathtaking way, both candid and picturesque. He and his assistant were both unequivocally professional, on time, and captured their shots in a way that was quiet and unobtrusive of the busy days events. Anton always had a smile on his face and was so polite and made my husband and I feel so relaxed.

His drone footage was amazing and he worked easily with us on what aspects we wanted included in our video. I will always remember during our sunset videos and pictures he was filming us together while he played the song I loved and requested for our video out loud while filming around us, so we could hear it in real time. It was such a touching and sincere moment that many professionals in the field don’t even think to do.

It’s been months since our wedding, yet I still rewatch our video over and over and fall in love every time. We would hire him again in an instant and he is worth every penny for your special day. We plan to have Anton capture many more magical moments as our family grows.

We worked with Anton and Julia for our wedding in September 2019. Initially, we were hesitant about having a videographer just given the expenses of a wedding. However, after working with Anton and seeing the highlight video, 5-minute video and full day cut… we’re so glad we decided to go ahead with Anton! Anton managed to capture the all the moments that made that day so special and did so while being almost invisible! We’re so happy we went with Anton – he’s extremely easy to work with, very professional and has a gentle sense of humour that immediately put us at ease. The final videos were amazing, the shots, editing and music all meld together seamlessly and really captured the emotions of that day. Not only do the shots look amazing, you can tell he really puts a lot of thought and heart into his work. Amidst all the craziness of the wedding day, he also managed to capture moments that we missed (again, it seems like he was everywhere all the time – not sure how he does it!) and we’re so glad that we could witness them through Anton’s work. Our friends and family also loved the videos and were so impressed with his work. We recommend Anton without any hesitation – his work remains one of the best investments we made for our wedding!

We booked Anton Park Films as our cinematographer for our wedding. Anton did an absolutely amazing job and we are so happy with how our wedding film turned out! He was very understanding and accommodating, and worked with us to give us exactly what we were looking for. Anton is incredibly talented in what he does and he created a beautiful video, despite how awkward we felt in front of the camera and also with all the COVID restrictions. The video came together so perfectly! We could not be happier that we trusted him to capture our special day for us.

Anton absolutely exceeded our expectations in every facet. We had an initial meeting with Anton before booking with him where he discussed his process and outcomes. On the day of, Anton was very easy to work with. Anton was able to capture the morning of from both my wife's perspective and mine, as well as every other special moment on our wedding day. We hardly noticed him there, or any of the cameras set up, but after seeing the videos he produced - the cameras must have been everywhere! The highlight video, 5-minute video, and one hour cut of our day were all AMAZING!!! We have been married for almost four months, and we have watched our videos over and over, and so have our friends and family! We have heard nothing but positive things from those who have seen our videos.

If you are thinking to yourself, 'we probably don't need cinematography if we have photos' or 'someone can just videotape our ceremony and speeches on their phone' - I encourage you to reconsider. I have seen cinematography done poorly, and I can honestly say that Anton's work is the best I have seen. Of all our vendors (and we had amazing vendors) - we can truly say that Anton, and Julia, were the best money invested for the wedding.

If you have come across Anton because you are booking Julia Park for photography - I HIGHLY recommended you book them both together as a package. They work VERY well together, and their vibe makes the day go smoothly (with some lighthearted use of humour). My wife and I had a lot of fun with them and we cannot imagine our day without them.

We knew that we wanted a videographer for our wedding but as we were planning with such a short time frame in between (because of covid-19 restrictions) we also knew that we may not find someone that connected with our style in time.
We browsed through many videographers, some recommended and we just weren’t finding what we were looking for. I was beginning to accept that we might not have a video of our wedding day.
Finally, our photographer suggested Anton and as soon as I took a look at his page I was sure of him with the first video we watched.
Antons style is so personal and romantic, he makes every video it’s own unique story.
Anton was great company to have on our wedding day and was helpful at directing us when needed.
We LOVED how our video turned out as did everyone who watched it. People talked about it for months and expressed how it made them feel very emotional while watching. Some even called it a movie because the production was just so great.

We could not be happier with the turn out of our video and would not recommend anyone else but Anton to our family and friends who are getting married in the future.

I had my wedding at this space, the room is breathtaking and the ambience is warm and welcoming. The catering is by Oliver and Bonacini beyond amazing... The only downside to the night was that the floor plan wasn't set up properly as they didn't leave enough space for the dance floor, when the dance floor was opened they tore down 2 tables that were blocking the dance floor. leaving some of my guests with know where to sit. One of the tables was my parents table so in the end they got put to the back of the room. This could have been prevented had they made the cocktail space smaller. Either way the night was beautiful and all my guests loved the evening. The staff were extremely accommodating and took very good care of my husband and i. I would definitely recommend this place just make sure to bring up the fact of the floor planning and the table placements

A beautiful medium sized event space with a huge skylight. The room is catered by Oliver & Bonacini so the food is pretty tasty too! Great space for weddings or even for a company meeting. Space is located on the top floor but is fully accessible.

Beautiful room, however it would have been nice to have sun shades on the sky lights so that you weren't blinded when the sun moved through the sky. The seats that were provided were also terribly uncomfortable as they were metal with low backs. Would have been nice to have cushions.

Stopped by for a wedding. Great loft-like venue, tasty food, nice ambiance. Perfect for events in the city for 100-200 people.

April did a great job in finding a vacation for our family. Once April narrowed down our family's wants/needs she found a resort that was perfect for us. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. We will be definitely be asking to her to plan our next vacation and would recommend her to anyone.

April helped me plan and book a trip for me and my family. We decided to surprise our kids with a trip over Christmas, kind of last minute. She helped us fine the perfect accommodations and made sure it was exactly what we were looking for! We can’t wait to plan our next trip with April again!

The food is very nice and please t, the chicken had a soft melt in your mouth texture and the rice was super tasty. The servers are very nice and like to assist you consistently. The tableware is super neat and fancy as well. The lighting is perfect and they can adjust it as well. Nice place! Just wish the dance floor was a bit bigger. Also, the washrooms are SUPER clean and smell great!!!

Good venue. Have attended multiple events here. Try to sit in the middle of the room as the edges make it hard to see the centre stage. Had some trouble hearing speakers, but not sure if A/V is in house or changes by event.
The food is just okay, although they do try to make it interesting visually and in combining the dishes.

This was such an Amazing space. I wish more people knew about. It's great for all kinds of events.

Beautiful place. The space is slightly tight to move around. Almost felt like a packed club in my 20s but this was a third party company event and potentially wasn't planned according to attendance. So be warry of how many you invite. The upper balcony level was the best. Less crowded. Could move around better and there was a bar so didn't have to go down to get a drink. Staff was friendly. Overall good experience. The 1 less star is for the narrowness of it. Could have had 2 entrances rather than 1 for better flow and safety. Acoustics were good.

Went to a charity Event in this space a few years in a row (minus Covid years). There is a ton of construction around the place so not the easiest to find. Inside the space is large, comfortable (space and temperature) with great acoustics. Bathrooms were clean and wait staff are friendly and hard working. It’s a popular place for weddings.

Great event venue with attentive staff. Was here for a corporate event recently and the place still lives up to its high standards. The food was on point and cooked well.

After losing our venue to the Berkeley Events closure, and scrambling to figure out a plan b, we reached out to O&B. Megan from the Arcadian quickly replied and we had a call set up with her within the day. Cut to, the day of our wedding: Everything went impeccably well. The food was amazing, the venue was beautiful and the staff were superb. Daniel was our coordinator on the day and he was on the ball. Would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you!!

We had our wedding at Archeo this past weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to bring our vision to life! The outdoor courtyard was beautiful, the indoor space elegant, and the service impeccable. We absolutely LOVED having our wedding at Archeo! Danielle and the entire team made us feel so welcomed and confident that we would have an amazing day - and she was right! We ended up having our ceremony and dinner inside during November and it was the most beautiful and intimate evening. The dinner staff were so accommodating and attentive, the room was flipped quickly between ceremony and reception, and the food was amazing. We cannot recommend Archeo enough!

We had the best wedding day at Archeo. We wanted a unique, cozy venue and this was perfect. Olivia was a dream to work with from start to finish. She helped answer hundreds of questions, met up with us to do multiple walk throughs and went above and beyond. The venue staff and servers on the day were also wonderful. The patio for our first dance was a dream and the space was truly perfect. The food was delicious (mushroom pasta and mini corn dogs get a special mention). The martinis and margaritas were a bit hit. 10/10 venue, highly recommend.

I have photographed a few weddings at Archeo now and I can truly say, what a great experience!!!! Aside from it being a photographers dream in terms of access to the area, the food is amazing and everyone is always super helpful with logistics on the day of. I have photographed a ton of weddings and Archeo has to be one of my favourites.

I was part of a wedding at Archeo in Sept 2022. I am lucky enough to have been at this wedding venue multiple times as a wedding photographer. It is definitely one of my favourite Toronto spots. Not only is the ceremony and reception location stunning the rest of the Distillery District offers many great spots for family, wedding party and couple photos. Obviously the Distillery District can be very busy but it's not so bad that you can't create great photos (unless during Christmas Market season). Also, the outdoor ceremony location is closed off from the public so you get the look of the district and complete privacy. In my opinion, to make a venue truly great you need fantastic food on top of atmosphere and awesome service staff. I have been to many a venue and most fail in food quality. Being a restaurant Archeo goes above and beyond in this area. The food looks and tastes amazing. Even the vegetarian options! Every wedding I have attended here has been gorgeous, intimate and so much fun. Can't wait to be back!

What an amazing experience! The host Ana was amazing towards the group. Amazing atmosphere. We played the archery and bubble soccer and would definitely recommend coming for any event, doesn’t matter the age group. We will be back

10/10... Hosted son's 10th bday party! We had adults and kids ages 2 to 30+ and everyone had an amazing time. We did nerf wars and dodgeball. Yes I will be returning for another event no question about. The party room had everything karaoke, pool, board games, jenga, foosball table, and best hosts! Everything was great! We loved it the kids loved it! I would say you have an amazing crew, they assisted us throughout Mary on the msgs and Karthi as our couch. Even everyone there were kind and compassionate in their demeanor. I highly appreciated it. I define got someone in myself, family and freinds who will recommend your place to everyone they know. I will be sure to give an good review as well. Much thanks to your team especially Mary and Karthi (coach) for making my son's day special and accomodating us with kindness since planning and managing birthday parties is hard and there were so many changed that I had to do or say. We had an amazing time at Archers Arena! The staff was super friendly, the activities are unique and so much fun. Perfect spot for friends, parties and new experiences in Toronto 🔥 Highly recommend!

I went to Archers Arena on my own for my birthday and had an amazing time! 🎯 Coach Arian was attentive, patient, funny, and made the whole experience really personal and enjoyable. His honest and encouraging approach made me feel comfortable right away. Even solo, I had so much fun and would definitely recommend Archers Arena for anyone looking for a unique experience!

We hosted my son's 11th birthday party here and what an awesome experience. They have a well organized party system that you can tailor to your liking. We choose the package for 10 kids and 2 activities + party room totaling 3 hours! We chose glow in the dark basketball and the bubble soccer. Such a great and creative idea to have fun! We had the most awesome host, Jia who was energetic and was fully engaged with our group of 11 year old boys and he communicated details with the children and I frequently. Our party was on a day with a massive snow storm and they appeared fully staffed. The facility was huge for the kids and there is a fridge, freezer and microwave. All great for hosting.

I am writing a review because yes we had a phenomenal experience but I'm writing because I'm finding it difficult to find party venues as my son gets older. He's too old for indoor playgrounds but too young for a dinner with friends. Lol.

This was perfect. The boys were happy, sweaty and the next day, all the kids at school were talking about it. Next time we will try archery as the boys seemed to be very eager to learn!

This was the absolute perfect venue for our small 30 person wedding this past November. The different rooms within are ideal for breaking up the space for various points of the wedding day (i.e. bridal suite, cocktail hour, ceremony, dinner and dance). Also, the space itself is so stunning and fit our aesthetic perfectly. Being November, we did most of our wedding photos inside Archive Studio and it was a beautiful backdrop to our day.

We had a small wedding (ceremony/reception) at Archive and it was such an amazing experience. The studio space itself is beautiful, and allows you a blank slate to bring in your own elements to make it your own. We loved the ambiance of the space and had such a great experience throughout booking/touring the space, too.

Archive Studio is one of my favourite studios for indoor portraits! The mix of organic modern aesthetics and rustic brick walls gives it a unique feel. The large windows flood the place with natural light, offering tons of backdrops for the shoot. The spaciousness of the studio makes it ideal for hosting intimate ceremonies, receptions, or for capturing a range of images during a photoshoot. Highly recommended!

Archive is a true gem when it comes to Toronto studio rentals or for hosting intimate weddings or gatherings. It is super unique and the staff are incredibly organised and personable. Strongly recommend.

Archive is one of my favourite studios! I've photographed families, portraits and events there. Each time I'm there they've added something new. The decor, arched doors, long romantic curtains, lighting and location really set them apart from other studio spaces. When I photographed a surprise proposal the team at Archive was kind, accommodating and helped play along with the surprise. I can’t say enough good things about them. The proof is in the pudding.

We had a great experience renting linens from Around The Table for our wedding. The colors were rich and the fabric was just what we were looking for. We had a great experience working with their team. They were very responsive and flexible. Around The Table helped our wedding look exactly how we hoped!

The team at Around the Table were easy and lovely to work with. Sylvie is a doll and made the ordering process very easy. The selection they have is great and the linens were beautiful, we would certainly use them again.

First, the linens are beautiful. They were perfect for our event. We did have an issue at the conclusion of our event but management stepped in to rectify the situation. I sense the issue we had wouldn't happen again and would recommend Around The Table for those looking for quality linens.

Renting linens from Around the Table was the easiest, friendliest experience! The tablecloths made our event look great--it was an outdoor event in a tent. They worked with our caterer and the whole process was worry-free. Highly recommended!
