The collectif de la cité played for both the ceremony and cocktail reception of my brother’s wedding. The overall experience was fantastic and they did a very beautiful job while being professional and connected through the whole process. The music they performed was personally curated to the bride and grooms tastes and requests. The musicians sound incredible, and especially during the ceremony their music added the perfect touch for those special moments!

After touring a number of venues, Columbus Event Centre was always the front runner. We booked it 20 months out. The outside greenery area made for a beautiful ceremony and the art gallery inside was perfect for a ~95 person reception. Sabrina is very personable and experienced, she gave us confidence that we could execute our wedding dreams here. From start to finish, she was amazing to work with. Surprisingly not many people know about this place, it is truly a hidden gem.

We recently held our wedding at the Columbus Event Centre and it was a great experience. They were very well-organized and the day went quite smoothly. Sabrina was flexible, responsive, and helpful, and the room looked lovely. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone hosting a wedding or other large event.

Hands down the best service and price you will get in the city. We paid $108/ person for our wedding. Open bar all night, Jorge, Sabrina and Diego were so friendly, accommodating and professional. They, and the when staff that night made our wedding an amazing and u forgettable experience. Their spaces are beautiful. Honestly, it's the best bang for your buck across the city for any professional banquet hall needs. Oh and the food. Usually wedding food is functional but this culinary experience was amazing. We still have people asking about their pasta. I cannot compliment them enough on how great a place and experience it is. I'm not exaggerating at all, the Columbus event center is a great place for your event.

We were originally having our wedding at the Art Gallery in Columbus but had to postpone and then cancel due to COVID-19. Both the outdoors ceremony area and the art gallery look so beautiful, and it is so sad we were not able to have it here because of the pandemic. During the entire process, the entire team has been beyond amazing and exceeded our expectations! From the energetic introductions with Diego, to the taste-testing with Agostino, all the way to the end with Paola and her assistant Sabrina, and even the casual conversations with wait-staff we encountered while exploring the venue - the entire team was helpful, supportive, accommodating and caring. Paola was especially responsive and understanding throughout this difficult time and did her best to answer all our questions (even the silly ones!). She was so kind and truly cared – even though she’s never met us in person! The food was also delicious and we can’t wait to go back to Ristorante Boccaccio! We would highly recommend having your event at Columbus Event Centre.

I was looking at wedding venues back in October 2022. They said they would follow up with their packages by end of October 2022. I followed up twice in November and have not heard from anyone since. It is unfortunate that they ghosted me a potential client, as the venue , indoor and outdoor spaces look really nice.

I have visited Comfy on six occasions and they have all been positive experiences. The staff makes you feel like you are part of the family. They go through the rules so that there is no confusion, but I appreciate this being an AirBNBer myself. The place has always been super clean and peaceful. If anyone gives this a poor review, they are much too critical; they have to remember that they are not staying in a $500 + hotel. The deal is exceptional given the price and location!

I had an excellent stay at Compfy Guest House! The location is perfect – close to everything you might need while still being peaceful and relaxing. The host’s communication was outstanding from start to finish, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The guest house itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Everything was well thought out and made me feel right at home. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Compfy Guest House to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

This place is an overpriced and glorified hostel, not a hotel. We had to pay in cash only (???) The location is not bad but a little sketchy and immediately upon getting in there was tons of pigeon crap all over the entrance.

The room was small, which is fair since that was mentioned previously. You get one uncomfortable pillow on your bed and we were told there was AC, but the room was hot and stuffy and we had to use a fan which helped a little. The bathroom was dusty and I dreaded going in every time - I’m not sure if the bath mats are washed regularly or not. I would highly recommend bringing your own slippers or flip flops if you stay here. As instructed by the woman who greeted us, you need to throw all used toilet paper into the garbage can.

One day we came home and someone had cooked fish in the kitchen. It smelled like rotten fish in the entire house for the next two days. There were also people taking showers at 1:30 AM, playing gospel radio at 6am and in the kitchen talking loudly and banging things around at 3AM. It’s an old house so you can pretty much hear everything. I did not sleep well at this place. Personally I would recommend staying elsewhere!

I arrived late at 9:30 pm and they were very helpful with my late arrival. The location is great as you can walk to many places downtown. It was a very comfortable stay and always quiet. I would definitely stay here again. Price is the best for the location downtown.

Comfy Guest House is fantastic. It's budget-friendly, a ~30 minute public transit ride from anywhere in downtown Toronto, well-maintained, and (as the name goes) comfy.

We stayed in Deluxe Queen with a shared washroom. It had all we needed: free wifi, heating and a fan, overhead lighting plus three lamps, a spacious bed. The washroom was cleaned regularly and all the guests were conscious of one another. We also had access to a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, cutlery, condiments, and a Brita water filter.

The highlight of Comfy Guest Hotel was the property manager, Vivian. She checked us in when we arrived late (9pm) and introduced us to the systems that keep the place running—how to use the bathroom, the kitchen, unlock the door, access the wifi, and so on. We drove to Toronto and wanted the leave the car somewhere during our stay, so she also arranged a parking spot for us behind the hotel for an extra $15 per night.

Everything was pleasant and professional. This is a great pick if you want to visit Toronto and spend most of the day exploring the city, then crash in a cozy little spot at night.

Cinthia and her team took my random birthday theme and created a polished result! Details and changes to the balloons were communicated and they made set up a breeze. The girls were so kind and were very easy going about hearing ideas. They made sure that the attention to detail was priority and ensured that my twins had the best birthday balloons. Will most definitely use Confetti My Party again and again.

CONFETTIMYPARTY was amazing to work with! My fiancee and I met with Cinthia shortly before our engagement party and we had such a positive experience from consultation to delivery. The balloon arrangements and table top stands (with decorative text) were stunning and we couldn't have been happier with the results. Their work is elegant, sophisticated, and so impressive, we are already eager to work with them for our next event!

I recently hired Confetti My Party to decorate for my bridal shower, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the very first consultation, the ladies were incredibly professional, attentive, and listened carefully to my vision for the event. The amount of attention to detail and creativity they share is like no one else!
The decorations themselves were stunning! They transformed the venue into a magical butterfly garden which exceeded my expectations. Overall, Confetti My Party made my bridal shower an unforgettable event. My guests raved about the decorations then and still talk about it today. I was trying to plan a bachelor party and having trouble bringing it all together and finding time to book reservations. I called Connected Montreal and Oren gave me a ton of options and had us set up with a full itinerary that fit our group right away. Definitely would use this service as the weekend was awesome and would not have compared if we tried to plan ourselves. Oren and Hurricane Tony took care of us all weekend and helped out with local stuff like what bars to hit, brunch spots, places to hang out during the day. Don’t waste your time trying to do it yourself these guys have it down

Booked a bachelor party for my brother in law. Oren made it seamless. Everything was taken care of top quality service. House was amazing! If any second thoughts on booking with a party planning company throw them away and use Connected Montréal. Ask for hurricane Tony as your host the absolute best there is! Highly recommend Oren and his team for coordinating your itinerary/bachelor party plans. It was a huge help for us, especially my party, which included 20 plus individuals. From the housing, to the meals, and everything else in between, it was perfect and couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding band! They were incredibly tight, with flawless transitions, rich harmonies, and a rhythm section that kept the dance floor packed all night. The musicianship was outstanding, amazing solos (especially on sax! One of our friends basically fell in love with Paul the Saxophonist with his top tier solos) and top-tier improvisation that gave every song a unique, unforgettable feel. They even worked in a few songs we requested that we weren’t sure would translate well to a live band format but they absolutely nailed them (Get Low)! Their energy, professionalism, and ability to read the room made the whole night feel electric. Our guests are still raving. If you're looking for a band that will elevate your wedding into an epic celebration, this is the one. Highly recommend!

The Bright Side performed at my daughter's wedding on July 20, 2024 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. To say they were FABULOUS is an understatement. The dance floor was packed and rocking all night long! I had a few musicians who were guests at the wedding, and they highly praised this amazing band. Shawn Rompre was a pleasure to deal with, both before the wedding and the day of. Many guests said The Bright Side was the best band they had ever heard. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Corbin has become the go to for all of my family's special events. Most recently he catered my parents' 50th wedding anniversary dinner party and it was outstanding!!!! We have several times fed well over a dozen family members for special occasions with his delicious dishes. But for a real peak experience, Corbin's third contribution steps things up even higher, by including in-home cooking and service. His staff / servers are as amazing as he is! They take care of EVERYTHING, not just the cooking and serving, but also flowers, dishes & cutlery, table decorations and even clean-up. I hired makeup artistry by Corrie Elle to do my wedding makeup last fall. I had the absolute pleasure of being paired up with Kyra, a young and brillaint artist who not only made me look *amazing* but also listened to me! My wedding wasn't traditional, and she nailed the look I wanted, rather than giving me what everyone else gets. Kyra was punctual, professional, pleasant, funny, and as I said before, VERY talented.

I had the chance to have Corrie do my hair and make up for my weeding in September. I was beyond pleased and it was worth the amount. I had an unfortunate experience with my bridal trial at a salon and was left scrambling with 8 weeks to go until the wedding. It was luck, but Corrie was available on my wedding date. The trial was amazing and the day of even better. She listened to what I wanted and I felt like we worked together. I was only getting ready with my parents and sister the day of - so quite intimate - and Corrie felt like family. I felt like a million dollar on our wedding day and I have Corrie to thank for that.

Naomi, Senior Artist from Corrie Elle Artistry, was fantastic! For my trial, she started with a "baseline" version of my inspo pics and then built on it until it was exactly what I wanted - I loved her collaborative approach. She's patient, fun, lovely to work with and very good at what she does!! My make up lasted through about a million happy tears on my wedding day :) Naomi was also very patient and flexible with my mom, who only wanted her eyes done and preferred her own products. Corrie (owner) is also great - very communicative and proactive. My originally assigned artist suffered an injury just before my trial and Corrie immediately gave me multiple options and got things resolved. Weddings are stressful enough, I was very thankful she was on top of things. For reference, I have olive toned, dry skin if that's helpful for anyone evaluating fit. It was very easy to book with Corrie Elle. They have packages but were able to create one based on my needs (makeup for 4 bridesmaids, hair for mother of the bride, hair & makeup for myself, and 4 hours of touch up service). Corrie was always very responsive to my emails and questions.

Myself and my wedding party had never worn false lashes before but Corrie's Senior Artists Alison and Ty picked the right ones for each of us - and trust me, they weren’t kidding when they said “premium lashes.” We could not feel them at all!

Both artists arrived to the venue right on schedule. I did a makeup trial with Alison ahead of time and had pictures for my hairstyle. She brought my hair idea to life and wove in perfectly the hair jewelry - everyone commented on how beautiful it was. Alison kept me picture-perfect ready for all my photoshoots and ensured my hair around my shoulders was always placed properly and that I never looked shiny (it was a summer wedding, so heat was a factor). She helped place my veil when it was time, and helped take it out after the ceremony. She even quickly redid the braid and hair jewelry to make sure it would stay in place all night long, as it had been 6 hours since she first completed it. She is truly a professional with a bright personality and was easily able to cover any imperfections in my skin with the airbrush makeup. She also did a fantastic job with my mom’s hair - and all we communicated to her was the idea of it and she brought it to life.

My bridesmaids also loved Ty. Ty also has a bright personality and made sure to ask a lot of questions before working on each bridesmaid so she could match the right type of makeup to them.

I would 100% recommend Corrie Elle to anyone looking for onsite makeup and hair services!

What a lovely restful place to stay. Ron & Mardy looked after us like we were Royalty.

A lovely house in the city, but with the feel of not being in the city. The B&B is located on a quiet street filled with the songs of birds and well maintained properties. It is a couple minute walk to Wychwood barns where a market is held each Saturday. It is a short walk to restaurants and a short drive to parks or downtown Toronto. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Free parking right on the street. The host our friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warmth and hospitality.

The natural beauty surrounding the resort is truly breathtaking—plentiful wildlife, lush scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere made for an unforgettable escape.

We especially enjoyed exploring the area by water, taking full advantage of the complimentary canoes and pedal boats for a relaxing afternoon adventure.

The dining experience was equally impressive. Every meal was delicious, with standout presentation and exceptional service. We loved the option to dine in our room or in the cozy dining area, where live music occasionally adds a special touch. The rotating menu offered something new to look forward to each day. Breakfast served in-room each morning was a delightful start to the day.

One of the highlights of our stay was the private hot tub on our balcony—pure bliss. Soaking in the warm water while overlooking nature was the perfect way to unwind. The in-room jacuzzi tub and fireplace added even more comfort and charm.

All in all, a truly memorable experience. We’re already looking forward to returning next year.

Our RETURN trip to Bear Trail Inn, August 2, 2025.
Driving into the resort, our first sight is the overgrown weeds, disgusting. The web site indicates this is for the environment, it isn't. You can't even walk around the grounds because the weeds have taken over. When we got married there 20 years ago the resort was gorgeous and very well maintained. It is obvious that the original owners took pride in the resort, not so much any more. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. There is also a $20 daily charge for parking, how are people supposed to get to the resort unless they drive, they is a money grabbing opportunity. The parking lot is not even paved, and it is up a hill, and it is not maintained.
I have been to this resort at least 5 times, and this will be the last visit. It is very sad that the current owners have taken a very lazy attitude towards the upkeep of what was a beautiful place to visit. The rooms are all very outdated, maybe they should take the parking money and update a room or two.

Beautiful resort and the location was amazing the staff members where very helpful. I would highly recommend staying in the chateaus they have everything you need for a relaxing trip and did I mention that you receive your breakfast in bed! The only thing that I would like to recommend is the resort grounds need some landscaping and more flowers in the high traffic area like the pool and in front of the Suites. I am a certified horticulturists and do agree with not cutting the grass in some locations. However I do think the guests would enjoy seeing more of that.

Disappointing Return Visit – Not Worth the Premium Price

I had high hopes returning to Couples Resort, especially with such fond memories from a previous visit—but unfortunately, this experience fell far short of expectations.

The meal options were extremely limited, and the food itself was mediocre at best. Despite providing clear instructions for dietary needs, the chef still didn’t get it right, and the portion sizes were incredibly small. For a place that markets itself as upscale and romantic, the dining experience felt more like an afterthought than a highlight.

The staff was pleasant, but not as exceptional or attentive as I remember. There was a noticeable drop in service quality compared to previous visits, which was disappointing given the premium rates.

But what really bothered me was the $20-per-night parking fee. After paying top dollar to stay at the resort, being charged extra just to park on-site felt like a cash grab. Where else are guests supposed to park? It’s the kind of nickel-and-diming that leaves a bad impression.

All in all, Couples Resort seems to have lost its charm, quality, and attention to detail. Sadly, it no longer feels worth the cost—and we won’t be returning.

My husband and I visited The Couples Resort for our anniversary this year. From the moment we entered the resort we experienced excellent customer service. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful when we had any questions or needed anything for our room.

We enjoyed lots of amenities including a heated outdoor pool that was perfect even for the chillier mornings, 90 minutes of free 8 hp motor boats per day which was awesome because we love to fish and brought our fishing gear with us, and the hot tub on our patio or spacious jetted tub in the room was the perfect way to end our evenings.

The dinner was incredible, one of the nights we stayed the daily creation was a venison tenderloin that I have not stopped raving about to friends and family. If you are having trouble choosing a starter I highly recommend you get the daily soup, each night we stayed the soup was absolutely delicious. I loved that breakfast was served as room service for a romantic breakfast in bed every morning. Their were plenty of breakfast options and everything we had was tasty and the perfect amount of food to get our morning going. It was so nice to have juice and a warm drink provided as well.

Lastly, the room was clean and beautiful. What more could you ask for than a wood burning fire place, spacious jacuzzi in the room, private hot tub, a gorgeous view of the lake, and a king sized bed?

We stayed here several years ago and the place looked a bit tired. But NOW, with the renovation it looks wonderful! Clean and crisp and modern. The restaurant was nice and the customer service at both the front desk and restaurant we're perfect. We would absolutely stay here again. Location very near to the 407 Toll Road as well as easy access to North York communities.

So happy this property renovated! I was more comfortable for my family to stay here and we stayed in the room that was perfect for us. We stayed in the King Suite and it accommodated my family with small children as it had lots of space and more importantly more than 1 bed! It had a king and 2 pull out sofas - and the pullout sofa’s weren’t your regular springy saggy ones. The design of these ones were more firm (which I’d take any day) and I think more hygienic.

The check in experience was great. Cheryl at the front desk received my request for an earlier check in, and when I arrived my room was still getting ready but she acted with urgency. Just that gesture alone made such an impact because I was already dealing with upset kids from a long drive so that also gave me some relief.

Although the pool was a bit small, it was still a great time for my kids. I can see it getting crowded easily on a weekend but the hotel anticipated that and had signs on the door to ask front desk to open the pool door to help regulate how many people were there at one time.

I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and unfortunately came home with bedbug bites, which were confirmed by my doctor. I immediately informed the hotel, but despite my report, they claimed their inspection did not find any bedbugs.

Regardless of their response, I know what I experienced and am extremely disappointed in how the situation was handled. Waking up covered in bites is not something anyone should have to go through while traveling. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others to think twice before booking here.

This hotel has exceptional customer service.
Me and my boyfriend came for a little weekend getaway and we felt so relaxed. The bistro was so kind and made me iced coffee even though it wasn’t on the menu. The front desk ladies are so sweet. The atmosphere is so quiet and clean. The room was really nice and comfy. Definitely a cozy place.
I liked that we could buy snacks 24/7 st a fairly reasonable price and everything was very close to us. The elevator for us was only a few steps away and same for the ice room.
I really loved our location. Everything was so convenient. The only thing with the bistro is it isn’t open after breakfast and only opens at 5pm again.
Probably one of the best hotel stays we’ve had. The only downside is that someone was smoking weed but overall it was an amazing experience for us and we’d definitely come back.

We’ve stayed at this hotel the past 3 years for our son’s lacrosse provincials. The staff are so friendly and helpful. When I mentioned that my son was a goalie, they gave us a complementary room upgrade which not only included a very large room but a balcony to air his equipment out. The entire facility is very clean and the rooms spacious. The pool is great for the kids and the gym has lots of equipment including dumbells up to 50#, kettlebells and lots of cardio machines. For our team, parents love the outdoor patio. It’s nice to have a place for the parents and kids to hang out after the game without disturbing rooms in the hotel. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

I stay at hotels often because I travel for work a lot and so I've seen good service and not so good service. This location was great. Rooms were clean and typical but the service was great! They are so helpful. I highly recommend this location.

We stayed there for 6 nights and had a 2 queen-beds room. The location of this place is very convenient as it's almost at the HWY 404. The parking is charged which is a big inconvenience but there are ample of parking available. The cleanliness is good, bathroom is nice, beds were comfortable, the room was spacious, their service was good and they let us check in quite early which was a big plus for us as we were tired from our long flight, and the early check in gave us a good opportunity to rest.

Always love the Marriott group, reliable. We stayed there in Mid April for 3 days, booked through Expedia, very impressed by their promotion room rates. They also tried to accommodate our request for early check in by sending us notifications when the room is ready, very thoughtful arrangement. Conveniently located in Markham where we could meet our friends and family nearby. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Front desk and room service is speedy and professional. Highly recommend it. Free parking, too.

Stayed here for a family sporting event. Was very central to all the places we needed to go to. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Views were decent. Did not get a chance to use the pool or gym, however, seemed very accommodating and very cool that the gym is 24 hours.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was disappointing for several reasons. First, the parking lot felt unsafe and poorly maintained—definitely not what you’d expect from a hotel in this price range.

The service was alright and the staff member assisting me was “in training,” which was evident from their rude and unhelpful attitude. There was no room service available, which was frustrating, especially after a long day of travel.

To make matters worse, there’s a restaurant connected to the hotel, but it’s not actually affiliated with it. I was unable to charge my meal to my room, which made things unnecessarily complicated.

Lastly, the room was dated and had a strange, unpleasant smell that didn’t go away. Overall, this hotel did not meet expectations in terms of comfort, service, or convenience. I would not recommend it and will be staying elsewhere next time I’m in the area! 🥹

I made a reservation directly by phone. My colleague did the same. We ask for the same type of room. For some reason, I got a "Suite". He did not. I never asked for it. But I got charge for it. 960CAD$ for 2 nights...wow!
The room, "Suite", was big, but by no mean did I felt it was different than any other normal room I normally stay in. It was not more luxury and I am a frequent traveller.
Obviously, English is my 2nd language. I feel I got taken advantage of. I guess it is a "bite the bullet" situation...

Overall had a great experience at this hotel. The room was spotless, and I really liked the layout — especially having the bed face the window. Despite being near the highway, it was very quiet, which I appreciated.

The only thing I didn’t love was toilet and shower setup — personally found it a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great.

The location is also a plus — about a 15-minute walk to the subway station, which makes it easy to get around. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Room was very clean and comfortable, with easily adjustable features like lights, pull out couch mattress, and curtains. The room we stayed in was close to some with children, so some noise carried into our room. The service from the staff was excellent! The only thing was that the television wasn't working and the jets in the pool weren't working either. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, but it would have been nice to have the option to use some of those amenities listed online. Beds were very comfortable and room staff/cleaning staff were lovely.

After being a silver elite member for many years I am calling it quits with Marriott. They were happy to take my money while I was walking but now that I am in a wheelchair, it is impossible. Most chains, Holiday Inn and Hilton, you can book accessible rooms on line At Marriott you have to call them, sometimes argue with them about getting a guarantee, receive an email telling you that you have a guaranteed accessible room, then arrive at the hotel to find IT IS NOT AVAILABLE. This is the third and last time it will happen to me. If you need accessibility, look somewhere else.

We celebrated our intimate elopement at Cranberry Creek Gardens this June, and it was nothing short of magical. What began as plans for a traditional wedding quickly transformed into an elopement, and the Cranberry Creek team supported us with so much grace, flexibility, and genuine care every step of the way. They were absolute angels throughout the entire planning process - always patient, kind, and ready with thoughtful solutions.

The venue itself is stunning, with beautifully kept gardens and charming historic touches, and we couldn’t have asked for a more romantic and serene setting. Even better, they had a weatherproof backup plan with their lovely chapel, which gave us peace of mind no matter what the forecast held.

Our day was everything we hoped it would be and more. We truly couldn’t recommend a more perfect place to say "I do."

Absolutely amazing experience! Cristina met with us before the big day to walk through the timeline and discuss the shooting style. She was incredibly thoughtful and helpful throughout the process.

On the day of, Cristina was warm, friendly, and always had a smile on her face—whether she was guiding us or quietly capturing beautiful moments. The photos turned out stunning! She has a great eye for style and completed the edits quickly.

I received a sneak peek just two days later, and I absolutely love the pictures. My friends saw them too, and they all love them as well! Cristina also sent me the full gallery, including the film photos, within two months, which was amazing.

Picking Cristina as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! What is gem of a theatre! I went to see Flex and found myself at Crows Theatre for the very first time. It is a small venue with an intimate setting, which was brilliant. The set was magnificently crafted with an actual half court built in, which served as many settings with the creative use of benches and bags. The acoustics were perfect, and the actresses could be heard clearly. The ushers were polite and unintrusive, and the nicest thing is that they allowed for photography before and after the show and during the curtain call. With such a small number of audience members, it was intimate and the seats well laid out for the venue.
I noticed another play that I am interested in and would happily return to Crows Theatre to see it. There is parking right under the theatre at a very reasonable $10 charge which is a breath of fresh air next to the $25-$35 one would usually pay in the city. Next time I plan to come in a little earlier or stay a little later to explore the Beaches neighborhood a bit more.
Well, done staff at Crows Theatre! I will be back!

My first time at this theatre and I wholeheartedly enjoyed seeing Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 - undoubtedly a must-see musical. In an all-around stacked cast so you know you're in for a treat. The director's innovative approach, the costumes/stagecraft, and actors' astonishing performances will make you fall in love with musicals 🎭

4* is a very high rating for me. An innovative interesting theatre. Well organized to manage 2 plays each evening. Nice bar set up. Lots of promotions. A great part of the Toronto theatre scene. Generally can find parking nearby too.

Came here to see Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812. The space is intimate so you really feel immersed in the production (despite sitting in the very back row) and sound quality is excellent! I arrived 30 min beforehand and there was already a line up for general admission. However it was well organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. My first visit to this theatre and certainly not my last.

Our experience at Crystal Fountain far exceeded our expectations in every way. The venue was elegant, spotless, and set the perfect tone for our son’s wedding. Food was outstanding and expertly prepared, beautifully presented, that even our pickiest relatives are still talking about it!

Good event space just west of Kennedy and 14th Avenue. Plenty of parking, has a nice reception area leading into the ballrooms. Better than expected food. Good for weddings, large parties, and corporate events. Friendly servers too.

On Saturday, August 6th, 2022; Cystal Grand Banquet Hall hosted my wedding reception. I first booked with the banquet hall in November 2021; and ever since, I’ve experienced amazing service. As many know, planning a wedding is very stressful and Crystal Grand made this wedding planning less stressful for my family and I. Below I’ve noted just SOME of the details that made this banquet the best choice for my wedding day.

- Price: Throughout my search within the GTA banquet hall options; Crystal Grand was able to accommodate everything, every other banquet hall had; at a reduced rate. A wedding reception is usually the most expensive step in your wedding budget. Therefore, finding a good rate will help with your other expenses.
- Food/Drinks: Food had to be the most difficult part of my wedding since so many guests had different variations of what they like to eat. Crystal Grand facilitated a custom meal package that everyone was able to enjoy. We had food from every different food group. The open bar was FANTASTIC! Every single one of my guests loved it. The bartenders were professional and classy.
- Staff: The staff treated me as royalty on my special day. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Keren (the event owner), was present at my event to ensure everything went smoothly- I am forever grateful.

Honestly, to write out everything in this review would be asking for a book; because I have so much to say. Many people have regrets and/or things that went wrong on their wedding day. Crystal Grand ensured I could trust them and proved that to be true from booking to the wedding day. My wedding day was perfect all thanks to them. The room was beautiful, the service was amazing, the food was great. I truly wish I could relive my wedding day all over again. I am yet to call them, and thank them again for their wonderful service. My husband and I have been married now for almost 3 years and we still talk about our wedding reception to this day.
For anyone reading this, book with Crystal Grand Banquet Hall if you’re looking to have the most majestic wedding reception of a lifetime. I truly didn’t know what my wedding day was going to look like as a young girl dreaming about it; but Crystal Grand made it come to life. The grand hall has a beautiful chandelier and premier lighting that will make your wedding photos truly stand out. We chose it because of how spacious it was, our 165 guests fit comfortably, but it still provided an intimate feel. Having the head table on the stage gave us a lovely view of our loved ones and was the perfect backdrop for us to soak it all in.
