To say Peter is talented is a real understatement. He is also caring and thoughtful and with his majestic ways knows how to bring a room of people together in dance and song. I would recommend him for any party, large or small. I am proud to call him my friend and prouder still of how he helped to make the celebration of my husband’s life last week an actual amazing experience. Thank you Peter for your talent, support and very fun moves. Never will I forget!!

Not sure if I can adequately describe just how amazing Peter was at our wedding. From the very beginning at our first meeting, Peter was so patient, kind, and professional, and we ended up booking him on the spot because he made us feel so confident.

During the planning stages, Peter was so communicative, and offered to meet and chat through details even beyond the scope of his DJ services (i.e. venue setup, given his deep experience). He made such helpful suggestions for the flow of our day, and I'm so glad we listened to his advice - he knows what he's talking about!

The day of the wedding could not have gone any better. He executed our vision flawlessly, his timing was on point, and he adapted to some last minute changes and accomodated delays in the schedule. All night & after the wedding, we've had so many guests say that the DJ was incredible and the dance floor was the most fun they've ever had. He even had a couple guests who claim they have never/will never dance, up dancing! Thank you Peter for playing such a huge role in making our day so fun and memorable!

Peter was an absolute blast at our wedding! He was funny, charismatic, and kept the party going all night long. Prior to the day of, he was well prepared with a list of questions for us to answer to fully understand our detailed itinerary, necessary queues, timestamps, and songs required for our program. We are very pleased that Peter delivered exactly what we requested during the ceremony and reception and well exceeded our expectations. He seamlessly MC'd the event and all the guests greatly appreciated how he was able to elevate the transitions between each program segment, wedding party entrances, formal speeches, and getting everyone on the dance floor. We also loved that Peter was well-versed in various genres of music. Every song was a banger and we would definitely recommend him to DJ/MC all our friends.

Peter was our wedding DJ and was 11/10. He adapted quickly when our piano player couldn't connect to the venue’s sound system. The song selection was perfect all night long and the dance floor went strong until last call. Peter was real professional leading up to and during the event. I can’t recommend a vendor more.

Peter did an absolutely amazing job as both our DJ and MC. Music for the ceremony was set up exactly how we wanted things to go.

Peter brought the energy during the reception. He was able to hype up our guests for the entrances, he led 2 amazing games during dinner, and when it was time for dancing the songs were perfect.

Love, loved the food and cafe vibes!! I felt like I was back in Italy! Mauro and team cooked up a food extravaganza for a private event. Every single guest said that they are coming back!! Highly recommended for real authentic Italian food!

This place is a total gem. I came here with my family for dinner and we were all seriously impressed. The decor is tasteful and cozy, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still feels a bit upscale. The menu offers a great variety, and every dish we ordered was cooked perfectly. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. One small detail I appreciated was the pacing of the meal — we never felt rushed, and the courses came out with just enough time between them. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. This is the kind of restaurant that earns loyal customers quickly.

We used Cucina Mauro for our son’s confirmation party with 30 family members, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was outstanding. We chose the porchetta station, which was a huge hit. Mauro and Jill were so attentive, professional, and warm with our guests. They made the event feel seamless and special. Highly recommend for any gathering, we will definitely be using them again!

Over the weekend, we had a lovely team from Mauro Catering assist us with my Dad’s 70th birthday party. Not only were they professional, but they also made it feel like they were part of the family. It made our day more relaxing and enjoyable to know that the team was taking care of everyone. The menu Mauro created was exactly what we wanted and the food was amazing (and plentiful). I think I saw my nephew walking around with three speducci’s at one point. I would recommend; and will recommend their services to all my family and friends. We ordered Cucina Mauro catering for a company event and it was so delicious, everyone loved it! One of the best cheese tortellini and meatballs i’ve tried. Portions were very generous (i ordered large trays). Ordering with Mauro was easy and Peter delivered the food on time and was very kind. Thank you!

Ordered a bouquet of flowers for a birthday gift. Delivered same day and they were fantastic. Well presented in a porcelain vase. Corrine was very friendly and professional in her questions to create this ‘perfect’ present. I highly recommend.

Located at Yonge & Bloor - this great shop offers exciting flower arrangement ideas for your event. Although the selection can't be called vast it has all you need to meet your occasion's bouquet needs. The cute tasteful arrangements are my favourite.
Prices $$+ seem reasonable for the location and convenience the place offers.
And...yeah the service is really intuitive and friendly.

Marija was easy to communicate with, and quickly adopted my vision for my bridal shower. Despite not having met in person until a few weeks prior to my event she was able to capture everything what I wanted via communication via text/ picture inspiration. Marija was constantly on the lookout for new items to enhance my theme. She always made sure I was comfortable with any additions.

She made a consistent effort to come to the venue in Pickering all the way from Oakville. This includes site visit, early set up and day of set up.

Decor: All decorations were in great condition as described/pictured. I rented chair covers, cutlery, chargers, mirrors, goblets, bows, backdrop with florals, plinth, napkins, desert plating, tiered trays, candles, and easels.

Florals: her faux florals were in great condition and arranged tastefully.

Pricing: Pricing was fair and transparent.

Execution: Both set up and takedown were on-time and on schedule as promised.

I would recommend Marija for your events. Her creativity, florals and decor are wonderful. She has exceptional attention to detail and goes the extra mile. She is a joy to work with 🥰

Where do I even begin… hiring Marija was the BEST decision my husband and I made for our wedding. Truly an amazing experience working alongside her for both my bridal shower and our wedding … if I could give her 10 stars I would!

From the very beginning, Marija was responsive, insightful, organized, helpful, kind, patient and detail oriented. I’ve ordered from Cured twice. Once for my birthday back in March & for my Halloween party. I also won a candy tray giveaway for Christmas! Their boards and trays are made so beautifully, with great care to use fresh ingredients! The candy was great tasting as well. Very consistent, the website reflects pretty much exactly what you’re getting! Always a hit at my parties and they’ve become a staple purchase for large gatherings. Can’t wait to order again. 100% worth the price. They also have excellent customer service.

Cured is now 100% my go to for gifting. Each time I’ve received a gift or a tray from either family or friends from Cured over the last few years, I was absolutely floored. Guests loved them and all asked me for details about where I ordered from. Every single detail of each tray and gift is perfectly considered and curated, with an incredible attention to detail. The layouts are beautiful and the ingredients used are consistently fresh and all go so well together. I now send gifts to my friends and family from Cured for every holiday, or for any other occasion, throughout the year.

I am so happy and grateful for the service that @customboards has provided for my event. They went above and beyond the industry standard to ensure great customer service and turnaround time. My wedding would have been completely in shambles without the team working day and night to fix my signs.
I contacted her initially after my original wedding planner bailed on me, and I had no guarantee for anything in my event. I needed everything in 4 days time: signage, table numbers, menu cards, the works.
The team was so understanding of my situation and made so many accommodations to ensure my special day wasn't ruined. They even revised the artwork for me twice to ensure that it was perfect and matched my tastes and decor. I will definitely recommend this business to my family and friends. We paid almost $400 for a welcome sign and seating chart. After taking our money they have gone completely silent for over a week. No artwork proofs, no updates, no responses to multiple voicemails and emails. No explanation for the delay.

We are now just days from our wedding and still have not been able to reach them. We have had to scramble to find a different company and spend another $400, including an additional rush fee, to replace what they have not delivered.

This business is totally unreliable and unprofessional. They have caused unnecessary stress as our wedding approaches by holding our money without communicating or delivering anything. Do not trust them with your money, and absolutely do not risk something as important as your wedding with them.

Very disappointed with this company. We ordered a sign/seating chart bundle for close to $500 on Aug 11. No one reached out to us until Aug 31 (a week before our wedding) to confirm they were actually working on it. We confirmed artwork but there was no further communication. We also didn’t receive notification that the sign was ready to pick up.

They were unresponsive via email and their phone voicemail box was full. We were left to scramble the day before our wedding, and spent an additional $350 to print replacement signs ourselves

This is completely unacceptable. Hopefully my credit card can somehow reverse the charge because they haven’t responded to my request for a refund.

I would not recommend, especially if you're looking to book for an event as significant as a wedding.

I placed my order early in the year for my August wedding. Everything was going well prior to placing my order; however, when I tried to follow up on my design and the timeframe for receiving it, etc., I wasn't receiving any communication. I called the number several times and was told I would get a call back shortly while they "checked" – I never got it. I literally only started hearing back two weeks prior to the wedding (after I thought I'd been scammed and started looking for alternative options due to the lack of response to my email attempts and calls).
Eventually, my artwork was approved and marked "ready for printing." Yet, three days before the wedding, I still hadn't received communication about when I could pick up my order, so I had to call again to get the information. Even they were surprised that I hadn't received an email with the pickup details lol.
My signs turned out okay, but the edges of my table seating chart were damaged – at that point, I was just relieved to have the signs in hand. The final straw was that after returning the rented sign holder, I didn't receive my deposit back until today; I had to follow up twice via email.

Disappointed, to say the least – out of all my wedding vendors, this was by far the worst. If you're looking for a vendor for wedding signs, I would recommend choosing a business with better customer service.

We had the pleasure of using D&D Party Rental and working with Amanda for our backyard Wedding and were so happy we chose them.

As soon as we reached out, Amanda was ready to schedule a site visit with her amazing technician to provide the best feedback and advice for selecting the tent appropriate for our needs. We went through numerous options, and the clear span tent that was proposed was the perfect fit. Amanda even went as far as plotting out the tent and chairs to ensure that the setup fit enough guests and helped eased my mind to be able to visually understand it. As we soon realized that renting the tent was this simple from them, we decided to rent the remaining equipment as well, including chairs, tables, covers, serving ware, coffee and tea urns, and much more. They worked with us to drop off a few days before which was a great relief and were able to leave the setup for a couple of days after too so that we did not need to stress about anything after. The installation team was professional and efficient and everything turned out better than we could have imaged.

Highly recommend this team and their rentals for your next event, and would like to send out a huge thank you to Amanda and everyone else involved in making our wedding day perfect!

Our experience with Amanda at D&D could not have been more perfect. All our questions were answered in a timely way. The process from order to delivery to pick and tear down was so easy. The tent set up was quick. Once it went up and the lights were turned on, the whole space transformed. It was magical. Our guests were completely surprised.

Communication was clear and easy from the start, their pricing was very reasonable, and they were incredibly flexible with setup and takedown—delivering and removing the floor within a tight timeline while most other vendors required a 5-day window. They were professional, reliable, and a dream to work with. I highly recommend their services!

I couldn’t be happier working with D&D! From quoting, delivery, pickup, and invoicing, they have been one of the best vendors to work with. We run a summer camp with 600+ kids and we require lots of additional shaded spaces. Their staff are very attentive and a pleasure to work with. I look forward to using D&D again for years to come!

i want to try so many different cakes from daan go because they’ve got such cool flavours! i got the 3:15 cake for a birthday and honestly it was quite small. the base was really good — it was crunchy and sweet and even though i couldn’t really taste/pinpoint the pINEAPPLE bun or ovaltine , i really liked how it was like a sweet chocolaty ish wafer. the crumbs around the side of the cake were super addicting too. the mousse was jiggly and some parts were definitely sweeter than others, but i think the coffee/tea taste just wasn’t really foR me?? but i thought the macarons were super nice and so were the strawberries. there was also a nice smooth sweet rich white chocolate taste.

The cakes are really impressive both in how they look and taste. We tried the little duck-shaped one that comes in a mini bathtub, and it was absolutely adorable. It was also really tasty.

They had a deal on six cakes, which Kevin, the person helping us, kindly told us about. He was super friendly and helpful, so we ended up trying an extra one. The prices are actually very reasonable considering the creativity and detail in the presentation.

I noticed they also have macarons, ice cream, and other beautifully designed cakes. The place was quite busy, especially for takeout, so it seems to be well known and popular. They also offer an alcohol menu, which I didn’t try this time, but it’s nice to know for future visits.

Overall, it was a really fun and unique experience. The themed cakes make it a great place to treat yourself or to bring friends.

Had a variety of their single size cakes which was ordered via Uber Eats, physical location on Spadina. And wow the decor and meticulous detail is crazy, I almost didn’t want to eat it because of how aesthetically pleasing they were. I tried the bubble tea, runny egg, pistachio and ramen cake and my favourite one was the runny egg. I thoroughly enjoyed the contrast of the rich chocolate and the light and tart passionfruit. It was very unique and so tasty. I found the bubble tea and ramen cake flavours to be good but didn’t like all the other components in terms of texture like the mochi balls and pudding. The last on my list was the pistachio which was to my surprise as I love anything pistachio flavoured but I found the cake to be dense and dry while the lemon was too overpowering. I would like to try more of their cakes and definitely think the visual appeal of it beats no other!

Tried the Tira-Meow-Su at Dana Go Cake Lab after a long, rough day at work, and it was exactly what I needed. The rich coffee flavor really hit the spot—gave me the perfect pick-me-up and instantly lifted my mood, and I loved how adorably it was presented. Definitely looking forward to trying their other dessert creations soon, because they seem just as fun and inviting!

Sweets were so cute and delicious. We ordered the Firma which was a chocolate mousse cake that was shaped like a cactus in a pot. The entire thing was edible and was so delicious. Very reasonably priced as well.

Our experience with Damasci in Toronto was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the service was seamless, the communication prompt and consistent, and the associates’ expertise immediately evident. My fiancé’s engagement ring and wedding band were both custom made at Damasci, and the result was absolutely stunning. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were truly unmatched, making the entire experience unforgettable.

My (now) fiance and I visited several jewellers in Toronto before deciding where we were going to design my engagement ring. Damasci was by far the best jeweller we found! They helped us design my dream engagement ring and it turned out absolutely perfect. Sam and Marko were a pleasure to work with, both so knowledgeable on the subject. Their craftsmanship is like no other. We look forward to working with Marko and Sam again when we return to design our wedding bands.

My fiancé and I had such an amazing experience customizing my engagement ring and our wedding bands at Damasci! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was super welcoming and comfortable.

We honestly didn’t know anything about diamonds before this, but Nick and Marko were incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They took the time to walk us through everything, what to look for in a diamonds, the perfect stone ratios, the settings, and all the little details I wouldn’t have even thought of. We didn’t even bother going anywhere else.

What we really appreciated was how genuine and passionate they are about their work. You can tell the whole team cares about getting everything just right and making sure you feel confident and excited about your piece. The whole process felt personal, not salesy or overwhelming at all. We did our first meeting in their downtown location, but they told us they have a Mississauga location as well, which was closer for us, so we ended up picking the rings from there! Pretty cool that you can choose your pick up location!! The Mississauga location was very aesthetic and cozy.

They seriously are the best in the business, not just for the quality of their work, but for the way they treat you. If you’re thinking about customizing a ring (or any piece of jewelry), I couldn’t recommend Damasci enough. I absolutely love how my ring and my band turned out and had such a good time working with them!

It was a pleasure working with Marko for our Engagement Ring - From start to finish, he was patient and always available to answer all our questions. He made the process very easy and was able to customize the ring as per our desires. He was also very transparent and fair when it comes to the price, and the quality of their work is far beyond excellent.

I had many friends & family get their wedding/engagement rings from Damasci and heard great things. After visiting the store I could see why, Marko & Sam were both amazing to work with it. Incredibly helpful and accommodating and were able to create a custom ring exactly how I wanted it. My fiancée is in love with it, 10/10 would recommend Damasci to anyone.

Great venue to watch a concert. The floor area is sloped from back to front so you can have a great view from almost anywhere. They had 2 bars on the floor for easy access. $11 for a bar shot. The sound quality was great and the lighting was amazing. My only complaint was there were only one set of bathrooms for the guys and girls, so the lineups were long. AWOL Nation was great!

What a wonderful venue to go see your favourite artist in! It’s a stunning hall with ornate ceilings a balcony and plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy with the crowd . From a touring musicians perspective there is plenty of space for parking a bus and trailer good accessible loading for gear and people alike a great location! Great Thai and Persian food is local and great pizza easy to order in. The sound is excellent out front of house hot enjoyed tuning the Pa and pulling the sound we wanted

I came all the way from Edmonton to see Poppy and it was worth it! The Danforth Hall is a beautiful small/mid sized venue. I didn't realize how important and iconic this venue is until after the show. Lots of iconic and legendary bands have performed here in the past and pretty cool. Sitting in the center mezzanine was great for the acoustics. Everything was clear and precise, sound quality is perfect. The dancefloor looked like fun, but being seated, I can only say it looks great from above!

Also, the woman who helped me find my seat on Friday was very friendly and helpful. The security were fine, and I can tell they were slightly overwhelmed at times with the amount of people that showed up, but they were great and helpful.

All in all, I hope to return here if Poppy stops by in the future, and I all I can say this is my experience is 10/10 and the venue/staff is 10/10. The atmosphere, the overall vibes, the immediate surroundings, the fans were on point.

The Danforth Music Hall is a decent venue, not exactly something to rave about, but it gets the job done. It’s fairly spacious, which is a plus, but the space does feel a bit dingy and stuffy, though to be fair, that’s expected in a packed room with a big crowd.

Drinks were on the pricey side, which is pretty standard for concert venues, but overall, the experience was average. Not terrible by any means, just nothing particularly memorable. It’s fine if you’re going for the artist or event, but the venue itself isn’t the main draw.

Other than having to line up down the street from the venue without signage to say so, the staff are sensible, communicate well and helpful.

Air Con works well inside the theater. Sound is great.

Plenty of parking near by and easy to get onto DVP.

Bathrooms are clean and they gave free water to everyone after the event which was nice touch.

Its not huge but that's part of its charm.

My partner and I found this catering provider through a Google search. We read the reviews and gave them a call to see if they could help us with our vision for our small wedding (which took place in mid-July).

We were connected with Erika, who helped us with coordinating the details, from narrowing down lunch menu (appetizer, main, and dessert, plus drinks selection) to choosing the decorations (e.g. napkin colour, plates) for the tables.

On our wedding day, everything went smoothly and our guests shared glowing reviews about the meal and the service staff (and we felt the same!). We were very happy that our guests enjoyed the meal and they left with good memories and full bellies.

It's mid at best. You are definitely paying for the name. I thought that the service staff was great, they would get 5 stars, except for a surly bartender who made me move from the shade during the wedding ceremony (when he wasn't going to be serving), but you can't all be all-stars.

The food is nothing you would talk about afterwards. Some people like that sort of catering - I just found it very boring overall, even the passed canopies the servers would hype up as being amazing.

A beautiful array of fruit decorates this custard tart, that has a great balance of flavour and textures. The shortbread crust is crumbly yet moist, and provides a mouthfeel contrast with the gooey custard filling that's fragrant with egg and vanilla aromas. The tartness of the fruit cuts through the sweetness of the custard and makes you want to come back for another bite.

We catered and planned our wedding a few years ago with Daniel et Daniel. Russell Day was our primary contact, and to say he was great is an understatement. It was absolutely perfect, everything from the delicious food and customized menu to the decor. I had no stress at all. Russell was a consummate professional, I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for helping make our day memorable and perfect.

Ordered a Strawberry Shortcake from D&D for a birthday back in early January. Our compliments to the cake maker / patisserie. The cake was very good with a creamy strawberry flavour throughout, not too sweet.... just right.

A cute vintage shop hidden in Leslieville. They have an amazing collection of vintage Jewellery and vintage levis denim pants. The owner Allen was really helpful and helped me buy these really cute earrings.

Daniel’s Jewellers on Queen East is amazing! They repaired some of my older jewelry and honestly brought it back to life — the pieces look incredible. And the vintage clothing downstairs is such a fun bonus, so many cool finds. This place is a must!

Stumbled on this cute hidden shop on queen street east. I always pass by this store and but I never come in. Today, I decided to give it a try and check out the clothing downstairs. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! So many brand names with such good deal! And I had to get 3 pcs from them including a Lascote from them for 20$!!! Amazing so I need to shout out for them!

Daniel's Spectrum is an outstanding community arts centre, which features theater, a music school, and houses a children's library and numerous arts organizations. Part of my enjoyment was the empanadas served near the front entrance by Garcia Eats. I am a tough critic, but just this once, I give them 12 out of 10. I know that might not make any sense, but they're just that good. The crust was perfect and the chicken was amazing, with all white meat. The sauce, a bit too hot for me, was a perfect blend of contrasts with cilantro.

Not sure what this place is supposed to be. A theatre? A community centre? A rink in Philadelphia? We came here for a "performance" or a "concert". While this place isn't responsible for my bleeding ears, the event lasted two hours. The seats are not comfortable in the slightest. I'm not expecting movie theatre seats or gaming chairs or whatever... But still. The sound was good, a bit loud, but that's the fault of the event organizers. Aside from that, everything was clean. The washrooms were also relatively clean.

We were here for a competition and judges were very sweet and helpful. Security was also great, washrooms are near the front with food and lots of seats.

Had a wonderful time at The Toronto Arts Festival,meeting and interacting with new people but as well for the reason for going was to see some Great Fashion and Designers did not disappoint.The 5 day event was Awesome,lots of new designs,some not my cup of tea but interesting none the less. Vanja Vasic organized a fantastic inventful event,just could have had a healthier food option,overall great outing,Cheers!

He was professional and easygoing to work with. My sweetheart and I came up with a list of groupings we want photographed during the wedding. Had a short phone call to confirm the details (e.g., location where photo shoot will happen and timelines).

He came 1 hour early and knew his way around positioning people, directing people, generally guiding people to craft a pleasing photo. We received our photos recently and enjoyed looking through them. We noticed David takes really good portraits of people – as if their essence is captured in the photo. Looking through the photos, I can sense they were taken by a professional.

By my surprise, I didn’t even know David’s Bridal had a store in Vaughan. I decided to give it a try, as I had an unpleasant experience twice in another location before. The atmosphere in Vaughan was warming and friendly. I was greeted by Libby, who was very accommodating. She was a very pleasant associate. She guided me through the dresses shop without being pushy and she showed genuine interest for my event instead of just pushing for a sale. I found the store very well organize by style and colour. Overall, the Vaughan location felt very positive and completely different from Mississauga store.
