I am so in love with my hair! Martin is one of the best stylists I’ve ever had. I came in with my hair cut to a bob with 3 drastically different colours from root to tip (red, blonde and brown) and Martin was able to make it all one colour to match my light brown extensions. Martin spent around 10 hours fixing my hair and stayed super late to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. He is a perfectionist and pays attention to every detail! He is so polite and funny, I loved spending all day with him! I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Hair by Banks and I would recommend them to anyone!

I had my hair coloured by Marisa, and she is SO incredibly talented!! After being blonde for years, I decided to go a bit darker and Marisa absolutely nailed it. I’ve honestly never left a hair appointment feeling this happy with the results. She took the time to really listen and understand what I was going for, and her attention to detail shows. The salon itself is so cute, with such a warm and welcoming vibe from the entire team. I highly recommend Hair by Banks and especially Marisa if you’re looking for a new stylist—you won’t be disappointed!! I will never be going to anyone but Marisa again!!

I feel bad making this review because I felt that I had a good experience in the moment and my hair looked gorgeous immediately after my appointment, but a few days and a couple washes later, I’m feeling super bummed about my hair. I had a haircut with Martin for a trim and some curtain bangs. I mentioned that I had previously had a bad experience at a different salon with short, uneven layers that I didn’t ask for which had taken me over a year to grow out. He said that he could add some slight layers which I wouldn’t be able to notice. I told him that I trusted him, which maybe is my fault for not being explicitly clear about what I wanted as my hair ended being thinned out quite a bit which I wasn’t expecting. I previously had thick, full ends which now look thin and wispy. I feel like I’ve left with half almost the thickness I had going in. I have layers throughout my hair that are about half the length of the rest of my hair, and I know from experience will take a year+ to grow out and regain my thickness. I’m feeling devastated that I have lost so much volume in favour of giving my hair some “shape”. I also have some face framing layers which are quite uneven, and overall I feel that the haircut has left my ends looking messy and shaggy. I had such high hopes for a salon with such amazing reviews, but now think I’ll have a hard time trusting any salon going forward. :( at the end of the day, my hair looks okay, but I feel that it wasn’t what I asked for and I don’t feel that my concerns were heard.

I've been getting colour services with Marie-Eve for 5 years now. We've gone through many hair colour transformations together, from coloured/marbled roots, to all over fashion colours - and since I'm now living 4 hours away from Toronto - we decided to work in a nice balayage over several appointments so I can deal with the grow-outs (up to 16 weeks out). Despite the long distance travel, I still manage to make it down here and treat myself to some Marie-Eve magic. The salon itself has great energy, lovely aesthetic, and the staff are really kind. It's a great experience every time!

I’ve been going to Jamila for haircuts and treatments for a while and was happy with how my hair turned out, so I felt comfortable booking a balayage appointment through her – something I had been wanting to do for a long time. The appointment ended up being moved to another stylist, Jhade.

Unfortunately, the results were really disappointing. Instead of a soft, blended balayage, I ended up with thick, brassy streaks that weren’t blended at all. The color didn’t suit my skin tone and just looked very harsh. It honestly felt like a rushed foil job, not the natural-looking balayage I asked for.

I came back for a correction, which got rid of the yellow tones, but also stripped out all the dimension – leaving me with flat, dark brown hair. At that point, it just looked like I had a root touch-up. After spending $450 and damaging my hair with bleach, I was left with basically nothing to show for it.

I reached out to the salon and was told I couldn’t get a proper redo or refund, just the tip amount back. I’ve attached their response here so you can see it for yourself.

Really upset and disappointed with how this turned out, especially because I trusted them with my hair (which I take VERY seriously) and was excited about finally getting balayage.

Update: After I left this review, the owner responded publicly in a very dismissive and condescending tone, implying the issue was my fault and even suggesting I might “see things differently, possibly forever.” I’ve attached a screenshot so people can read it themselves– it really says a lot about how they handle client concerns.

Their response claims they “tried to fix my hair until 11PM,” but leaves out the fact that the correction appointment didn’t even start until 9PM – so I’m not sure how that was supposed to be exceptional. Overall, rather than taking responsibility or showing any empathy, they chose to deflect blame and talk down to a paying client who left with damaged hair and no resolution.

Update #2: Since the salon responded by implying my photos were misleading due to lighting, here are more photos taken in different lighting conditions –natural light, indoor, and flash – so people can judge for themselves.

As you’ll see, the color still looks brassy and unblended regardless of the lighting. I’ve shared these because I want to be completely transparent and let others make an informed decision.

What’s disappointing is that instead of acknowledging the issue, the owner has chosen to blame lighting, question my expectations, and even suggest the problem is how I “see things” – not the actual result. I just wanted a soft, natural balayage and a respectful response when I raised concerns. I didn’t get either.

My stylist, Mai, truly takes the time to understand my hair needs. When I had my hair coloured six months ago, she recommended products that have helped maintain the colour beautifully ever since and they’ve worked especially well for my thick, straight hair.

I recently visited her at her new location near the intersection of Richmond Street West and Spadina for a haircut and a treatment designed to boost shine and reduce damage. As always, she customized the cut to suit the length and texture of my hair, and the result was excellent. Mai consistently makes my hair look its best.

The salon is located on the 5th floor and benefits from an abundance of natural light and a nice view, making the experience even more relaxing.

Mai, my long-time stylist, recently moved her practice to this salon. Been going to her for YEARS for Japanese straightening, so it was a given that I'd follow her. She's the best! Always does a perfect job with excellent root blending, adapted to my unique hair needs and no damage. She's also fantastic with colour processes (similar skill set). Highly recommended - just don't book her before I get my next appointment scheduled ;)

I have been going to this salon for several years now. Although it may be pricey, I have been consistently happy with the results. My go to colour expert is Stacey. On top of her being top notch at what she does, she has a lovely personality. Would definitely recommend.

Parastoo is so knowledgeable about all the elements that go into hair cutting and styling and it truly shows! Amazingly welcoming immediately as I walked in the door for the first time, and was so kind as we went over what I wanted to do with my hair - I felt very at ease with her almost immediately, she just exudes warmth and experience. My hair was too damaged from previous box dyeing to do anything other than let it grow out, so Parastoo gave me a really phenomenal short cut to get rid of a lot of the damaged lengths - while my original intention was to grow it out past my shoulders again, the cut I received is so cute I'm torn between my original plan and keeping this cut, it was so well done and shaped for my face perfectly! I have never liked myself with short hair until now so this was a truly amazing experience, and a very reasonable price also. I look forward to returning to Hair N Mirror, and I'd recommend Parastoo to anyone!

I have been going to Henny exclusively for over 2 years now so this is long overdue! Henny is so talented at her craft and knowledgeable about hair. Within the time that I’ve seen her, I have gone from brunette to balayage to platinum blonde and now honey blonde with highlights. She is so easy to talk to, and she strives to make sure that you always leave the salon happy with the end result. Henny is an absolute hair goddess. A little more than a year ago my hair reached its breaking point during a bleach session at another salon and I lost so much hair. Henny evened out my patchy house-dye job, gave me gorgeous extensions, and has allowed me to regain the confidence that fell out with my hair. She planned every step of it with me and made sure I was okay with the goals set. I’ve had these extensions for almost a year now and they’ve been through it and have still maintained the shine and silkiness from the first day. I got ash brown balayage highlights done with Henny last week and couldn't be happier! I had a super overgrown balayage and wanted to get it refreshed finally before some upcoming work events. She takes the time to do a consultation and understand what you want before starting the service, and she was just the sweetest the entire time! I had nothing short of an incredible experience with Hair by Henny! She communicated wonderfully, asked questions throughout, and ensured that both the colour and cut I received was exactly what I requested during our initial consultation. I had a wonderful experience as a first-time client of Henny’s! I had overgrown, yellow-tinted balayage that was in desperate need of a refresh. During the consultation, Henny spent time patiently trying to understand what it was that I wanted to achieve, then helped me achieve that with a foliage technique that resulted in beautiful 3-dimensional, ash beige tones as well as a haircut that framed my face well.

Throughout the entire process, Henny was extremely personable, highly efficient and professional, and overall just a wonderful person to chat to. We have had the pleasure of having Chris and Half Shell Catering on three separate occasions. Guests are always impressed with his gorgeous set up, and his kind and friendly "can do" personality. The oysters and personally curated sauces are delicious, the caviar with homemade blinis and clotted cream are incredible and the shrimp and king crab are out of this world. Truly the best. Highly recommend.

Half Shell catered our family Christmas party and Chris blew us away!!! The selection of oysters, crab and caviar was exceptional and Chris put an awesome table together with a beautiful rustic display. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. I really liked that they have a glass shower instead of a bathtub — everything looked newly renovated and very clean. The absence of carpet floors is a big plus. Housekeeping was excellent and always on time. Breakfast was decent. It’s a small hotel with great, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Noise was an issue at this hotel. Toilet tank constantly ran & I was told it was normal. Hard to sleep when it kept resetting. Doors couldn't be closed quietly no matter how much you tried to ease it shut. Outside traffic noise was heard in the room. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Toiletries had a strong scent.

Location is fantastic. It's right next to Costco and an easy drive to several popular Chinese restaurants and grocery stores in Markham. It's a bit more of a drive, however, to tourist locations in downtown, especially when there is traffic.

The breakfast area is quite small, but at least it's free. Parking is also not too hard to find. The staff are friendly. I would stay here again.

Second time staying here and hubby booked it on a booking site and only an accessible room was available as the entire place was fully booked due to a long weekend. There were some hiccups in the bathroom like hand soap pump being wonky so it dispenses next to zero soap, missing hooks behind the door, really old hand-held shower nozzle like it’s from the 80’s (photo) and water pressure from this was so low - I hope the hotel please fixes these for future guests. The bed and recliner were both really comfy and we slept well. Rest of the room were clean and staff were awesome. Breakfast was great and all-day free coffee/teas on the ground floor was a plus!

My previous experience was definitely better than this time.

Not too sure whether they have changed the management or simply i wasn't lucky to experience being rushed by telling me the room should be vacant by noon while the house keeping told me they aren't busy today.
Coming from Alberta, there is not even courtesy of even giving a courtesy to give me 12.30 pm check out.
Service and hospitality should definitely be improved.

Our baby’s first birthday felt so special. Soft tones, adorable balloon garlands, and a tiny throne for the cake moment — everything was picture perfect. The guests couldn’t stop taking photos, and it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime day.

We had a company anniversary party, and Hand and Heart made it unforgettable. The lighting was dramatic but tasteful, the floral arrangements were next-level, and the stage design looked like something from a tech conference in California. People didn’t want to leave — that’s how good it was.

Absolutely hands down the most competent , talented and creative services you will ever come across. Their team has extensive training globally and brings nothing short of exquisite work. The entire team is incredibly professional warm to be around on site and goes above and beyond to ensure that as a client, you are taking your breath away when you see the final product. When I put together a massive gala, one of the most important events of my career, this company went above and beyond our expectations and blew everything out of the water. We had endless comments about how stunning the florals and arrangements were and the team even came back the next dayto ensure a second event of ours was taken care of. There really isn’t anyone in Toronto or the surrounding area to be honest in all of Canada that can produce this level of quality the sky is the limit with this company.

The team at Hand and Heart was so responsive and attentive. We had a short timeline, but they pulled off a miracle. The venue looked stunning, and our guests were amazed. People are still talking about the decor weeks later!

Since attending Fan Expo for many years and visiting/spending hours at the local artist section, I have grown to love and appreciate the amazing skills individuals have out there in society and locally. They're very talented and produce many interesting merchandises that I've grown to love. Upon discovering this business, and the owner Keira, through a random tweet on Twitter one day and I decided to browse her website. Was so amazed by the products she makes. They're so professional, just like as if you'd buy at a big box store but only BETTER! Had a custom mask made by her, and the customer service provided was top notch. Visited the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto this summer with my family and it was such a great experience. The vibe was lively with lots of people around, and you get to see boats on the water and planes flying overhead. The mist water area was a huge hit with the kids — really fun and refreshing on a hot day. There are also art galleries and creative spaces to explore, which are perfect for cooling down. Plenty of restaurants nearby too — we ate at Queen’s Harbour and it was excellent. Definitely a must-visit spot in Toronto if you’re spending time downtown.

Beautiful experience at the Harbourfront Centre. The water was relaxing and calming, and even got to see some swans. Watching the boats and planes land was a great Sunday activity as a tourist in the city. I definitely recommend visiting at least once. There is also an art gallery with a few exhibits totally free of charge to visit. Can’t wait to be back.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the views with breeze. Water in the front and buildings in the back. A busy area during weekends as it’s the place to be. Many restaurants near by with lake views.

We had our wedding at Harding Waterfront Estate and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. The estate itself is absolutely stunning, from the waterfront views to the beautiful architecture, it felt elegant, timeless, and intimate all at once.

What truly made our experience exceptional, though, was the incredible service. Joan, our main contact for the venue, was a dream to work with. She was so kind, responsive, and on top of every little detail. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Joan made the whole process smooth and stress-free, we always felt like we were in good hands.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was, and we’re so happy we chose this venue for such a special day. I can’t recommend this property enough. Everything from the setting to the staff was beyond amazing.

As a photographer, I absolutely adore shooting here, the soft lakeside light, the grand, inviting estate, and the peaceful, romantic setting make it a dream. There’s something about the way the sun glows through the trees in the late afternoon that just makes every photo feel extra special. The mix of natural beauty and timeless architecture gives so much variety without ever needing to leave the grounds. I leave each time feeling like I’ve captured something really special, this venue has a quiet magic that shows up in every frame.

We had this place booked a year and a half out without even visiting it in person! Over the last five months or so, we've been going back and forth with our coordinator Joan, over a few phone calls, a single in-person meeting at our tasting and a giant email thread. Joan was integral to our big day and to everything running smoothly. We opted for the buffet and thoroughly enjoyed it both on the night of and at our tasting. The food is all anyone could talk about in the following days so shoutout to the chefs who did an amazihng job! The venue and its grounds are truly beautiful and I could not have asked for better service from Joan, Taylor and the entire team!

With its stunning waterfront views, elegant gardens, and beautiful indoor spaces, it offers endless opportunities for breathtaking photos. The atmosphere is both sophisticated and intimate, providing the perfect setting for capturing those special moments. The staff is always professional and ensures everything runs smoothly, making the day stress-free for couples and photographers alike. Whether shooting by the water or within the beautifully landscaped grounds, Harding Waterfront Estate is an exceptional location for couples looking for a timeless and picturesque venue.

Nice location close by the Park and lakefront with a view. You can enjoy a nice quiet nature walk around this area in the morning. Overall the green space and estate is stunning.

My fiancée and I came in looking for a dress shirt for his wedding tux, Sebastian helped us out and he was great. Super knowledgeable, very friendly and incredibly helpful. The Great Hall with The Quad is a truly beautiful place for a wedding. This whole building is stunning. The food for the wedding that I attended was so well done, delicious, and the service was excellent. Washrooms are limited, which is my only complaint. There is 1 accessible single washroom on the main floor and otherwise there are additional stalls on the 3rd floor up a couple flights of stairs. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a guest and would highly recommend.

Visited with my family to University of Toronto’s Hart House for an event. Stunning Gothic Revival architecture, with attention to details to each & every stone carving. The design is very impressive. The ceilings are very beautifully designed with wooden panels. The style of glass windows are as same as I had visited in many cathedrals & palaces in UK & Europe. Worth visiting and recommend to visit during summer time it’s more beautiful.

One of the best Candlelight Concerts I’ve ever been to and at the perfect location. Please do more Kings of R&B Concerts at the Hart House!!!

It was a great experience and I bought the tickets to take my boyfriend on his birthday and he surely did like the experience. Atmosphere was beautiful as it was in the university of Toronto. Hans Zimmer music was played by the great talented musicians. Overall a great experience

Hart House is a beautiful space with a lot of history and charm. The architecture alone is worth checking out, and it has a peaceful, almost calming vibe when you walk through. I've been a few times for events and casual visits, and it’s always felt like a nice little retreat in the middle of campus.

That said, some areas feel a bit outdated or underused. It has so much potential, but it sometimes feels like it's more appreciated for its look than what it offers day to day. Still, it’s a solid spot to visit if you’re around U of T.

Using Have a Seat for my wedding decor and flowers was the best decision ever! I cannot put into words just how perfect everything was and how lovely it was to work with Mina and her team. They executed my vision flawlessly and I can’t get over how stunning everything was!

I worked with Tammie from Have A Seat. She’s so pleasant to work with! I went in with specific asks and what I got more than exceeded my expectations. I asked for a wedding arch, something that aligns with a pampas theme, is very simple and very elegant. The way they decorated the venue was more than I could have asked for. Very reasonably priced (I did comparison shop), so easy and pleasant to deal with, and stress-free. Exactly what you need when planning a wedding.

A beautiful venue for our beautiful day!
Our wedding at Hazelton Manor could not have been more beautiful. We went into our original site tour pretty much set on a different venue, but were pleasantly surprised with the overall elegance of Hazelton Manor. Once we sat down with Jim, we could sense that we were in good hands and booked them as our venue. Throughout the whole planning process, Jim and the Hazelton Manor team were there to answer any questions we had. During our tasting, we weren’t too impressed with the main entree, but after speaking with the team, they made the necessary adjustments and it was cooked just to our liking on our big day! Our 195 guests (20 tables) fit comfortably in the South Hall without it feeling crowded. The price was reasonable for each guest and we felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Attended a function recently with family at this venue. Since I have attended a good number of like facilities, I can make a sound and honest review. Celebrations and functions cost a fair bit these days. As such, one expects the highest standards of location, food and service. To start off, the writer and fellow attendees, found the food to be bland in relation to the main course. The food plates collected and returning to the kitchen area, had substantial remains on the plates. The appetizer stations were complete and well appointed. Service staff were very good in the hall and at the bar. However, the writer observed clogged HVAC ducts (pictures posted for proof) in the washroom area. Additionally, the soap containers at the washroom sinks were empty and contributed to grins of disbelief from fellow celebrants. No paper hand towels available, only air dryers. Normally, I would give only 2 stars but the staff was top notch.

We just got married at Hazelton Manor and working with Ken and his team was such a wonderful experience! From day one he was informative and fun, always recommending the best choices. Ken provided support throughout our entire year of planning. He was available to answer all my questions no matter how silly. The week of, he will act as your coordinator so all vendors can go straight to him for any venue/planning related questions. The day of, Ken was so hands-on and was running around everywhere making sure that everything was running smoothly! We wouldn’t have been able to have such an amazing experience without him.

I’ve been to many weddings and I have never been to a wedding where there were no complaints about the food- everything tasted absolutely incredible! Compliments to the chef!

The hall itself is beautiful. I was wary of having my reception at a hall until I saw Hazelton Manor. From the moment I saw beautiful interior, the high ceilings, and the signature checkered lobby, I was sold. Most places that I saw seemed dated or small so I was really drawn to this modern but classic venue.

I would definitely recommend Hazelton Manor for all your major events! Each time we visited they were always busy planning something new whether it be a baptism, a first communion, or another wedding. It is a one stop shop that will make your planning a breeze!

I just left the Hazleton Manor 5 minutes ago after coordinating a wedding for my lovely couple. I couldn’t wait to leave a 5 star review for this venue! Everything was perfect from start to finish! I couldn’t have asked for a better team of managers, servers and bartenders! They took care of every last detail and accommodated all request quickly and professionally!

Ken was an absolutely pleasure to work with! By the end of the night, he felt like family! I also want to thank George, Suzanne and Anne for being so incredible!

My husband and I got married at Hazelton Manor last month in March and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. George is absolutely wonderful. He answered our many many questions with a friendly attitude and made sure we had everything we wanted for our wedding. The venue itself is really gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the lobby and the pictures turned out so beautifully. The food is beyond delicious and everyone was saying it was the best wedding they had been to. I would highly recommend Hazelton Manor 🫶

I just left here after coming ready to buy a tulip table and a set of wishbone chairs. I was the only customer in the store almost the entire time and I spent at least 15 minutes walking up and down the main floor checking styles and options. Why one star? The staff member working didn’t say a single word to me. It’s such a bizarre feeling entering an empty store with no sound/music and not being spoken to the entire time. I gave plenty of opportunity in those 15 minutes by circling the main desk, walking the floor and trying to make eye contact to open some conversation. Not even a greeting or goodbye when I walked out.

My expectations weren’t high, but they certainly weren’t at zero. Wild.

I have sent a few emails previously to your company. I have received 3 different exchanges with the 6 dining chairs, all being contaminated with molds all over the chair horribly! Even the last exchange, your company just slightly swiped off the mold without disinfecting the molds, as there were still prints of molds on it. I did not pay for some cheap furniture to have molds and exchange 3 times on 6 dining chairs. Also having agreed on a certain time but having your delivery guy just dropping all unwrapped in box chairs on my porch without anyone to pick up from the door! They are $500+ for each chair! With the third exchange there were 2 chairs that was stained with molds, and having your staff telling me I was lying when I have proof of it and having your delivery driver seeing it himself too! I believe this needs an explanation and compensation on this matter.

I found out about HCD Furniture through a family friend and they have such great pieces to make your house feel like home. Their customer service is top notch and they definitely go above and beyond to make sure that you’re happy with every single piece that you order. A special shoutout to Aroon who helped make the customization and delivery process such a breeze!!

Found this place through an ad on Facebook market and honestly super grateful that I did! They have high quality furniture and I managed to find the exact noguchi coffee table I was looking for! Excellent prices too, really comparable given how expensive everything is these days. Would highly recommend buying furniture from them (: I had such a lovely experience thanks to the folks at the Mississauga and Downtown branches as well as Zara who was super helpful!

My experience was nothing short of a nightmare their furniture is rubbish. I ordered four counter stools they are all different colors and heights they have scratches cracks. The pitch of the seats is also off the second you sit down you slide right off. The owner did not want do anything to rectify the situation. It doesn't feel good to get ripped off. Be smart stay away.

Mike is an amazing videographer. His passion for videography shows in his films. We couldn't have asked for anyone else better than Mike to film our wedding. He is incredibly easy to work with. Extremely high quality work; Mike is exceptionally talented. He makes a regular life action unbelievably beautiful with his video production ability. We have cried watching the videos he made for us many times now, the guy puts his heart into it. I truly respect Mike for his integrity, punctuality, and for being a great listener and giving us exactly what we wanted from our videos. We will have these memories for life and we cannot thank Mike enough for his hard work. He filmed multiple wedding events for us in addition to an engagement video shoot, he was flexible, knew his angles and is one of the easiest wedding vendors we worked with. Everyone absolutely loved what he had done with the events. Again, we highly recommend him. He was my favourite vendor to work with during
such a stressful time.

A great videographer can make a model out of anyone. That’s how I felt with our video. Every single second of the video really captured the moment of our wedding. From the beginning, Mike was very accommodating with the rescheduling of our wedding. Due to covid-19 we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times and it was no issue for Mike to stick with us. The time with us on our day he was very efficient with his video taking schedule, and did a fantastic job at simply being out of the way and allowing us to focus on the wedding. Mike even stayed past the allocated time to ensure his job is complete. Really appreciate this. He sent us the completed video in a very timely manner and we are mesmerized by his work. My wife literally goes through the video 2-3 times a days randomly just to get that level of excitement and relive the wedding day. We definitely got more than we expected with Mike.

Friendly staff. I visited at closing time on September 17th and they welcomed me. The lady took time offering different ideas which I liked and appreciated. I ordered 6 arrangements for an event the following day. They had them ready for pickup at 10am on the 18th. My boss was so happy with the arrangements.

I literally cannot recommend Shelley enough!! She made my wedding dreams come true. Heavenly creations florist literally brought my exact wedding vision to life. Shelley has such a kind and wonderful personality, and she always made sure we were taken care of at all times. What an incredible experience. I’m so happy!

To say that I had an amazing experience with Heavenly Creations and Shelley would be an understatement. I had a specific vision in mind and the team executed it perfectly. My husband and I were very impressed with how picture perfect the flowers and candles turned out. You could tell that there was so much attention to detail. The execution was flawless. So many guests complimented the centrepieces and I loved my bouquet.

Leading up the wedding Shelley was so kind. She made samples of the arrangements so I could see how everything would look until they were perfect. This made the process stress free. I had confidence that she would execute according to my vision and I was not disappointed.

We went here for Art show last weekend, It’s a beautiful historical building with multiple rooms in main floor with solarium at the end and second floor really great setup for the show.😍will back for next event!

Heintzman House is such a beautiful and historic venue, but I feel the string lights wrapped around the front columns take away from its elegance during the day. They look a bit messy and distract from the charm of the architecture. It would look much cleaner and more impressive without the visible wires.

Our son and future daughter in law looked around for a while before closing the Heintzman House for their wedding and reception venue and we are all so happy they did. There are various understandable restrictions since it’s a very old house and in a residential neighborhood, such as no open flames and no loud music or food/drink outside. There was an on site person who was very helpful in last minute coordination with getting tables and chairs and a podium set up. There are some lovely rooms upstairs for the wedding party to use to get ready - especially nice for the bridal party. We held the ceremony outside on the patio with about 110 chairs facing an arch in front of the piano sculpture. The grounds are very nice and so the wedding party pictures could be taken right there. We had about 100 people inside for a catered reception (no cooking allowed on site) using round tables in the large room. We then were able to fairly quickly clear the room and use it for dancing the rest of the evening. Overall the house is really great for such events and I would certainly recommend it to others.

Every single year the Art Show continues to impress me with a nice collection of artists with such varied styles! Starting with the location itself it’s cozy, comfortable and inviting.I love chatting & sharing experiences with many of the artists and finding out that they also have tough moments painting! Prices are very reasonable and there are so many unusual techniques and subjects that I come away with ideas and a fresh perspective and inspiration! Love it…keep it up and I look forward to next year!

Beautiful location for hosting events! It's spacious, has a vintage feel, and picturesque location to take insta worthy shots! I just wish the location was more central, but other than that, it's an awesome place!

Helia was wonderful to work with! She did my bridal make-up, as well as my mom and mother-in-law. I don't usually wear make-up and wanted to look nice but still like myself on my wedding day. I (thankfully) found Helia on Instagram while searching for more "natural" make-up artists. She was so kind and thorough throughout the whole process. She really takes her time to get to know you and your preferences (especially during the trial), and to make sure you look flawless for your special occasion. I have dry and acne-prone skin, but she was somehow able to magically cover up some significant blemishes I had on my wedding day! She also worked really well with my hairstylist to ensure we were all ready on time. My mom, MIL, and I all got so many compliments on our makeup, AND it lasted very well throughout the night!
