Last night, I was rushing over to my friend’s poetry book launch, and I wanted to bring her some flowers to commemorate the occasion. There were many options in the area, but none open past 5 pm, and none with a welcoming and inspirational sign reminding me of my purpose in life as a flower…except for one.

I was worried, strolling in a meager 15 minutes before closing time, that I would find the eponymous “Garden’s Path” more of a Stressful and Overwhelming Maze. Thankfully, and to my delight and surprise, quite the opposite happened: I was greeted warmly and wonderfully by Nikki and Clair, who helped me select and wrap up the perfect bouquet for my friend.

In less than 15 minutes, I was able to: find a beautiful bouquet, have these flowers packaged up nicely to be gifted, ensure that the flowers would be safe for any pets or animals, and receive two (2!) unsolicited compliments about my attire. Some people don’t get that in a lifetime.

I want to thank Nikki and Clair for a wonderful experience, and if they read this I would like them to know that the flowers were a hit! Thank you. I also forgot to return compliments to you on your attire, so instead I am writing this little Google review. Thanks so much for your help and for your time! The shop is beautiful and you made the experience even brighter.

Great service when I walked in needing a bridal dress fitting bouquet for my friend. The associate whipped it up in 5 min and sent me on my way. Gorgeous bouquet cost $35+tax which was reasonable.

First came here about a year ago and now they’re my go to place for florals! They make the prettiest bouquets and make all my custom bouquet ideas come to life! They are also the sweetest people there! Whenever I walk around with my flowers I always get sooo many compliments! :)

A cute most beautiful flower oasis nestled next to the coffee shop, the friendliest staff they care so much about the flowers, the staff actually help you choose to curate the perfect bouquet any occasion!! They also knows to use locally grown flowers, i would say best to follow them on Instagram to get the best of it!!

Nikki and her team at Garden’s Path really know what they’re doing. I often walk in unsure of what I want and with a few quick questions they’re always able to arrange a stunning bouquet even more beautiful than I could’ve expected. The flowers are so fresh and last forever! Do yourself a favour and pop in, you won’t be disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about Garrison. My wife and I were on an expedited timeline as a result of me being diagnosed with cancer, and my brothers and I needed suits we could be proud of for our special day. After trying a few mid-level suit shops who couldn’t work with our timeline, I walked into Garrison, knowing they were very well regarded. Justin greeted me at the door, and after explaining our situation, he committed to making things work and ensured we would get our fully tailored suits on time. Their fitting and measurement process was seamless, and they moved things around when needed to make sure we could make all of our appointments, even with people coming out of province. They were so accommodating and empathetic, and even stayed late on several occasions to make sure everything was perfect. The suits were all fantastic (middle three guys in the photo) and comfortable, and held up despite some rigorous dancing. If you’re looking for a great suit, and an even greater experience, go with Garrison.

Garrison consistently delivers impeccable styling and great fitting suits. Over the years I've been very happy with the service, flexibility and advice.

We didn’t feel comfortable nor welcome here. Our consultant barely showed us any fabrics before pressuring us to make a decision. She wasn’t very knowledgeable about the fabrics and couldn’t even answer where the wool was sourced from. She didn’t ask any questions about what my fiancé was looking for and didn’t make any recommendations. During the middle of the consultation, she left us and started helping other customers, leaving us clueless looking at the fabrics, which was very unprofessional.

We didn’t have a hard set budget but she acted as if we couldn’t afford anything else and was very reluctant to show us anything more, even when my fiancé asked.

Speaking as an absolute amateur in the world of bespoke fashion, I couldn't have asked for a better experience in getting a custom wedding suit.

I worked directly with Justin, who did a masterful job of interpreting my vision and using his experience and style to bring my ideas to life - which was no small feat as I wanted to combine looks of Old Money, Peaky Blinders and Yellowstone, all while ensuring my look complimented that of my wonderful bride.

The entire Garrison team helped me feel comfortable, appreciated and respected through the entire process. Their communication (specifically Justin's) was always timely, professional and vibey. They delivered on time, and their work made me look leaner, meaner and more polished than I could have ever hoped to look!

These guys are pros, and thanks to them, I managed to also leave my bride speechless during our first look.

This place is really awesome! Great rooms and a really great environment to practice. I've only gone a few times so far but everyone working there has been super accommodating and very helpful. Great rehearsal studio in the north of Toronto.The standard of the drum kits are the best I’ve played compared to similar environments. The sound treatment is also well thought out and studios are all very clean and comfy. Alex and his team are very professional in their approach and were very accommodating. Will go back next time I’m in Canada. Highly recommended!!

We were given dirty glasses, and even after asking to replace them, the same ones were brought back. When we asked to have our burger cut, they just handed us a knife, while other guests had theirs cut in the kitchen. The food was mediocre, the staff seemed unhappy, and the place was dirty. Would not recommend.

Hey I've been popping in for years practicing those drums and that's because I enjoy the space and you feel comfortable right away. Absolutely the Best!!! We have been coming here for years and we are never disappointed. We always get the same server (by design?) and Kimberley is always a delight, the consummate professional level of friendliness and attentiveness without being intrusive. She remembers us and we always feel special.

The food is always spectacular. The first time we came we had the 7 course tasting menu and it was too much for us. We are light eaters. We are always very satisfied with the 5 course tasting menu.

We have eaten at many places of similar caliber and (sometimes higher) price point and George is consistently the best experience. The courses are always so well planned and executed that every bite is pleasure.

Our most recent visit we got to sit at the chef's table. The kitchen is fairly open anyway but this table looks right in and we enjoyed watching the bustle and hard work that goes into everything. The patio on the back is gorgeous!

The biggest tasting menu we’ve ever had. We went for the biggest for my birthday and the wine served was lovely too. Restaurant was nice, an eclectic design with fine dining. Timing of the dishes was perfect. Dishes were all unique. Would definitely recommend

A Michelin star worthy meal at a non-star establishment!

Within a span of less than a month, I have had the opportunity to savour two wonderful and noteworthy meals that were beyond my expectation. The first was at ‘Bouillon Bilk’, Montreal. It was then followed shortly by another splendid one at ‘George’, Toronto! Although both of these establishments are non-Michelin star rated. However, based on the execution, quality and taste of the food, plus the total dining package experience that goes along with it. IMHO, these under-rated standouts both deserve the award of a culinary macaroon!

For the past two and a half decades, due to the close proximity of our birthdays, my brother-in-law and I had been having habitual annual ‘Boys-only’ birthday bashes at destinations in and outside of the province. Our primary selection criteria was to seek out venues that offer delectable tasting menus, preferably with wine pairing!

This year, we decided to brave the notorious 404/Don Valley rush-hour traffic and pay award winning chef Lorenzo Loseto of George ( 2013 Canada Culinary Championship - Gold medal Plate winner ) a long overdue revisit. A fellow ex-chowhounder and long time foodie acquaintance of ours, we beseech Chef Loseto to specially curate and craft a multi-course blind-tasting menu for us, hopefully with the inclusion of a Venison main course!

To say that our inspirational and outstanding ‘Omakase‘ dinner was just another pretty and delicious meal would be an understatement. Though the attractive plating and the captivating composition of the dishes were typical ‘ Loseto signature trademark - Busy, Florid and Ornate ‘. In some way, all the multiple-ingredients and components used in the creation, managed to work harmoniously well together and in near perfect unison, be it from the taste or textural perspective. During this process, a number of mouth watering delights and scrumptious taste bombs were forged!!

Enticed by the creativity and deliciousness of our initial few courses, the splendid gastronomic progression prompted us to make an impromptu decision of morphing our originally planned 7 course dinner to an expanded, whopping 10 course affair!

The following are the parades of wondrous dishes that emanated from the open kitchen just a few steps from our table. Delivered to us by a small team of super friendly, professional and attentive servers, Chef Loseto also made a few cameo appearances to check on us……. and Yes!! One of the main dishes was indeed a gorgeous Venison dish!! Thank you Chef!!

- Espresso Cake, Rum soaked Cherry, Macerated Berries
- Double Chocolate Fudge Birthday Cake with House Made Chocolate Gelato

Seldom does one find a meal with ALL its hot dishes turned out to be standouts!! ….top of the list were the Roasted Turbot in Lobster Reduction, the Foie Gras and Roasted Squab and of course the amazing well seasoned and tender grilled Venison loin…..etc!

The selection of desserts were all outstanding and not overly sweet!!

All in all a delightful, balanced and memorable meal!......We shall return!!

Three of us went for dinner: one had a vegetarian tasting menu, the second a pescatarian tasting menu, and the third the normal meat based tasting menu. What a great flexible offering. The food was varied and delicious, the wine pairings were generous, the service friendly and attentive. The dining room is large so our table was not cramped. We had a view of the very busy open kitchen and could admire the teamwork. Highly recommended but a bit pricey

I went for winterlicious and got the menu with wine pairing. The starter and main were really good but dessert was kind of disgusting which was a shame to end the meal off that way. It was so basic and too sweet, not balanced at all. They phoned in for dessert wine pairing with a moscato which was way too sweet with the dessert and unlike other courses was the same across desserts. The plates were beautiful but dessert was such a let down. For the price of 200+ per person I expected more.

Average looking gift baskets which are overpriced. I can probably buy a similar basket at Costco for half the price. One of the baskets that I got is ripping apart at the edges (see pics below). The merchant responded quickly and the baskets were delivered in 2 days.

I’ve ordered a beautiful basket filled with all kinds of chocolate for a colleague of mine. The basket arrived exactly as it looked on the website with all of the delicious treats. The only thing I would recommend is to include a higher quality card to write a personal message on. But that would just be the cherry on top.

I received this basket from my grandparents. The presentation was gorgeous and a lot of sweets!! I really loved it. I'll order something for my friends.

I have used Gift Basket Canada for a number of years now and for a variety of occasions. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with their products and amazing customer service. Every basket I've sent has been perfect and the recipients are still raving about how beautiful it was. They have a wonderful selection at all different price points and I would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone. They have my business :-)

I ordered a few gift baskets for various businesses this past holiday season, and Alex went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. I had designed and printed up custom cards to go to each different place, and he even sent someone to me to pick them up! This was an amazing bespoke service. He didn't have to do go out of his way, but he did and I truly appreciated it. I've dealt with a few gift basket services over the years to send to my clientele, but they're going to be my sole provider from this point forward. Don't hesitate to engage their services with the confidence that you'll have the greatest experience with nothing but class and professionalism.

Stopped in on Good Friday to get two bouquets for my family members.

I gave the gentlemen my price range and he crafted the bouquets for me on the spot and checked to make sure I liked how they looked as he made them, gave me options for colours of flowers, wrapping etc.

It took about 20 mins from start to finish.

Now I’m reading the bad reviews and definitely glad I didn’t order through Uber or need delivery, but my personal experience was as good as could be expected for a last minute gift.

If you need something from here perhaps come in person and pay cash!

I called in the morning for a bouquet to be delivered same day and had a very nice lady who took my order, texted me a picture of what they were sending, along with what the written card said and it was delivered within an hour!!! Easy, quick and amazing service. Highly recommend them.

I visited this florist twice in one week because I was so impressed with their bouquets. The designs are absolutely beautiful—thoughtfully arranged with a great eye for colour and texture. The florists are also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my wonderful experience and how my dream wedding dress became a reality within just a few months.

From the moment I seen her work at the bridal show in September 2024, I fell in love and had to reach out to get more information.

However, after I reached out, Gizem and I had our first initial phone call to discuss my vision for the dress which was so helpful.  We than had our subsequent in-person meeting to explore fabrics, laces, etc.. Once that was sorted out, Gizem then took my measurements, and that's when the magic truly began and that is when I knew I was in the hands of the sweetest, most understanding, unique, and incredibly creative custom designer ever.

I really appreciated the daily updates from her and her team on the progress of the dress. With each step, I was increasingly delighted as I saw my vision come to life. The dress is everything I imagined and more.

We like places with lots of history and this hotel fits the bill. Renovated interior with modern mood lighting in some places. Looks like a great location for a wedding but we only stayed for a few days for a vacation. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We often sat on the balcony overlooking Queen Street and watched the world go by while we ate breakfast. This place was fun, centrally located and interesting. We'll definitely head back there when we go back to Toronto!

It was a bit loud at times, but that comes with the central location and the hotel’s character.
Loved the gym and our corner room with lots of charm.
Receptionists were always super kind and helpful.
And yes – even the elevator had character. Loved it!

Came here for a wedding. Though I didn't stay in a room I did see one from someone who was staying. Very. Nice.

The outdoor patio area was so peaceful, despite being downtown it didn't feel loud at all. The food was pretty darn good (wish the portions were bigger!) especially for weddings.

The venue overall was cozy and intimate, very welcoming.

We stayed at The Gladstone for a week and it was delightful. All of the staff were extremely helpful and polite. We ate in the hotel restaurant most mornings and were often served by Jen, who was attentive and very friendly and able to give us recommendations for sightseeing, too. The room was very nice and the only issue really was the loud air-conditioner. I always travel with earplugs, though, so it wasn't a problem for me. There's a lot to see in this area and it's a pretty short rail car ride to St Lawrence Market et cet! There is plenty of local unique art displayed on all of the floors and in the rooms. The Hotel's interior design marries modern touches with its historic roots in a refreshing but familiar manner that makes for a beautiful combination. I'd recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone.

We had our wedding at the Gladstone; a number of our guests stayed at the hotel, and we stayed on the night of our wedding. The venue was nothing but attentive and professional. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the staff were extremely helpful and supportive. It is in one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Toronto, fairly accessible by car/transit, and close to all our favourite Queen West/Ossington restaurants. Would recommend to anyone as a wedding venue and a hotel stay!

This is a good venue for company events. There is a mid sized reception area, with a lovely old auditorium. Seats are comfy, audio and video staging is good. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I had the pleasure of visiting the magnificent Glenn Gould Studio while attending the Toronto Womxn in Data Science conference. What a remarkable experience it was! The studio boasts a spacious and impressive venue, complete with a large auditorium filled with comfortable seating and captivating stages.

The mall was thoughtfully designed, creating an atmosphere that was both elegant and inviting. The comfortable seats provided the perfect vantage point to enjoy the competition that took place on the stages.

You can go and watch concerts here. It's also a place that can be rented out for meetings and conferences.

It's unassuming nestled in the CBC building and convenient off of Front Street.

A bit of Canadiana

Great venue with lots of enriching history. They have a few of Gould's pianos on display which is a privilege to see up close in person

Great acoustics, beautiful theatre, the Toronto Concert Band played a great Christmas show here. Too bad public transportation downtown Toronto is so limited. Both the Spadina tram and Intercity train to Union were out of service the day we came.

I had some issues in the beginning with this company but they were fixed and I have received great service since! They even called me to follow up on my renewal and make sure I got extra assistance. I am pleased working with them!

I have been insured with Front Row previously and currently. The policy is great and easy to apply to and make payments online. I had an exceptional policy needed and the broker called me directly to take care of my needs. There automatic reminders and customer care is great. Highly recommend for amateur and professional photographers alike.

I had a very favourable experience with Globalex/Front Row Assurance and Chubb insurance for the liquid spill of my MacBook Pro. Unfortunately these things happen, and David and Nicole worked quickly to approve an insurance claim to help me purchase a replacement so I could get back working on my business.

These guys are awesome! Especially for first-time indie filmmakers. They are quick to explain everything in detail, are very transparent and don't beat around the bush. I felt that I was getting honest answers to my many questions and never once did I feel condescended or taken advantage of. They also offer the best value for your money that I found. We will definitely use them again for our next film.

The stylists here are extremely talented. The salon owner Tahira did an amazing job with my previously dry and damaged hair. She cuts with precision and pays close attention to my hair’s individual needs. I have tight curly/coily hair. We did a hair cut, colour /highlights and my hair feels healthy and soft.

The vibe, the beautifully designed salon, and the expertise made for a great experience.

This was an amazing experience! I was in town for a wedding and found this salon on Instagram, so really didn't have any expectations. They went above and beyond and I was so happy with the results. From check in to leaving, everything was great. I loved my hair wash and head massage. Tahira was extremely talented and had great suggestions for my hair that ended up really nice. I had no reference pictures for my makeup and really left it in her hands and she did amazing. I had so many nice compliments on my look all night and even many locals asking where I had gone. Would love the opportunity to work with Tahira again if I am in the area.

Char did a great job on my hair + she was very professional, letting me know the kind of products she applied to my hair and all.
Every other staff at the salon was warm, kind and welcoming.

Dan and the team at Goldline did such an incredible job for our wedding. They ran our entire day, from the ceremony to the end of the reception. He held a very thorough consultation to ensure each song was correct and the transitions were seamless. They also put together an epic entrance for our wedding party and us into the reception hall. We were very impressed with the whole process. They also provided a monogram on the floor, the amazing Photo Booth (that was used very extensively) and coloured down lights. Truly well rounded!

It was a pleasure to work with Goldline Entertainment as our wedding DJ service! Daniel and Elizabeth were both very organized, professional, easy to work with, and their communication was top notch. Daniel is a real pro! He was very receptive to our ideas, but also happy to provide his expertise when needed, both during the planning process and on our wedding day. When our receiving line ran behind schedule, he stepped in to put us at ease and to help us seamlessly adjust our reception timeline on the fly. We highly recommend Goldline!

We worked exclusively with Daniel and he was great - we were in search of a last minute replacement DJ and Daniel helped us out big time and made it super simple but still extremely thorough! We held multiple meetings (in person + on phone) to determine what our ideal day would look (sound) like.

He was also our MC for the day and did a great job to entertain people but not make it about him. Great night of music selection to keep the dance floor moving and interacting with the guests to keep them interested. Very professional and he was even helpful dealing with another audio/video vendor we had that wasn't very good. We would absolutely recommend Daniel and Goldline to anyone in need of a DJ!

Daniel at Goldline Entertainment was the perfect DJ for our wedding! He was highly recommended by our day of coordinator and both my husband and I understand why! He was very easy to communicate with and was open to whatever changes needed to be implemented, even last minute!

Daniel asked us questions to ensure that everything was perfect before the wedding and during! He knew when we needed a dance number to get everyone fired up and when a slow song could help some people recover!

Goldline Entertainment made our wedding a night we will never forget! From the music, to the smoke on our first dance to the cold sparklers! The cold sparklers were my favourite, it just made our entrance and first dance so special. DJ Dan was great to work with. He was honest with our song choices for the ceremony and took the time to help me choose songs to make the occasion memorable. I would absolutely recommend Goldline Entertainment!

Gone Sailing Adventures delivered an incredible sunset cruise experience. The crew was friendly and professional, and the Toronto skyline views were unforgettable. It was the perfect way to wrap up a busy week in Toronto. Highly recommend for both personal outings and corporate groups!

Our experience with Gone Sailing was like a mini Below Deck Sailing Yacht experience with the incredible Captain and crew Rob and Rob!

We sailed around the harbour, explored the lagoons of the Toronto Islands and took in the the city skyline’s twinkling lights to top it all off!

I went on a boat on July 25, 2025 and I had an amazing 2 hour boat experience. The two people working on the boat, the Captain and his assistance were quite friendly and had an extensive knowledge of Toronto and its history. I learned so much about Toronto. tThe boat was big enough to accommodate 8 people maximum at a time. In the front of the boat that was several bean bags and very comfortable to enjoy trip and was very relaxing. You can buy Captains hat and order food ahead of trip as well. We celebrated a friend's birthday onboard. I brought over a cake and the person served us several pieces to us in the front of the boat. There was a bar service onboard and we enjoyed the wine and beer. There could have been a few more choices in regards to wine and beer choice. I would use them again for sailing.

Making memories on the water with Gone Sailing Adventures is a bucket list item! Happy to share some pictures of "Whirlygirl" . But its the staff that really is the real gem. Enjoyable for good food, outdoor adventure, commraderie. Enjoy your sail, you won't regret it!

Captain Howie and Ellie provided us the perfect evening with sunset views of Toronto and the island plus fabulous wine pairings with delicious hors d’oeuvres. It was a fantastic evening.
