I’ve ordered from them so many times (corporate breakfasts, lunches, etc!) and they have lots of options, all available to view on their easy-to-navigate website which I really appreciate. Their delivery has always been 100% on time, food is as advertised, and their team is super quick to respond via email. Absolutely nothing bad to say!

I've been using we cater to you for about 2 years now for both corporate events/ office lunches every other week and they have NEVER let me down on any occasion; like ever. 10/10 across the board in every regard: service, pricing, quality of food, punctuality, responsiveness etc. and they tick so many boxes of the kind of business i like to support: sustainable? check! family owned? check! local business? CHECK! exactly the type of business that the community should support. did i mention the food is SO good? always fresh ingredients. they've made my life so much easier as an executive assistant. i've also been to their restaurant and its very nice on the inside. they also make their own sauces which are fun to try out and are delicious. all my coworkers enjoy their food. TaraWeddings did such an amazing job photographing and filming our wedding! We couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out, and the videos are absolutely breathtaking! I cry every time I watch them!
They really took their time to get to know what we wanted, and made sure to get all the little details just right. And they were fun to have there too! They just blended into our group, and made us laugh, it didn't feel forced or unnatural at all. They felt like part of the family!

I don’t know where to start. I contacted Paul back in winter few months before my wedding and he called me right away. I told him what we’re willing to pay and he right away agreed. Our wedding ceremony was different and long and I sent him a document and a video of all the important details of the wedding ceremony and asked him to make sure all these shots are taken. Keep in mind this is an ongoing prayer. Paul, alongside his team didn’t miss a single shot of them. In fact, they took way more than we expected. Our wedding was in Ottawa and they drove all the way from the GTA and had to travel at 4AM to make it for our getting ready pictures. They also had to drive back the same night after the wedding which was 11PM at night! The whole team had so much energy, which really helped us and our guests to be relaxed and even entertained. I myself am a photographer and I know how photographers do things, and let me say Paul and his team surpassed every expectation we had. They were very detail oriented. They were very present and joyful. It was also very very easy to be ourselves around them. It’s not easy at all for a photographer to make people feel comfortable and make them laugh or joyful easily. But they did that so well and so naturally. I would say you don’t feel them around at all. They also felt very personable. A lot of guests from our wedding told us how much they enjoyed their presence. Again all of this is talking about their personalities and who they are. When it comes to their profession and the work they did, I could write an essay. First of all they gave us the pictures and the videos in almost no time. We came back from the honeymoon and they were already done. We are in LOVE with everything they sent us. They didn’t miss a single shot. They got way more than we expected. Trust me as a photographer, their work is insane and I am very very picky but they overdid themselves.

I even referred 3 of my friends that are getting married this summer to Paul and they’re going with him and they’re excited because they already met him and the team at my wedding. 

Lastly, I cannot thank Paul and the team enough for all the work they’ve done for us. They made our day so special and memorable. We truly enjoyed their work and their presence. In fact I am excited to see them again at my friends’ weddings. Please do yourself a favour and go with them. Having a good photographer and videographer at your wedding will make the day much much much more better.

Tara Wedding Photography and Videography made our wedding day complete. My husband and I got married on June 11 2022 and they made everything go really smoothly and worked with us when other vendors weren’t being the greatest. They got beautiful candid photos of my husband and I that we will forever cherish. I was having a lot of problems trying to upload the photos I had selected for our album and Paul was very patient with me and my lack of electronic knowledge. He was there every time we had a question and we couldn’t be happier with our photos and wedding video. The video is absolutely stunning and the music with it all just bring us back to our special day when we watch it. We would definitely recommend Tara Weddings to anyone for their own wedding or personal event. All of the staff are personable and friendly. My husband actually forgot his change of shoes at home and the videographer offered to run to the mall to grab him another pair. Really above and beyond! We met with a lot of different photographers before choosing one for our wedding, but Paul from Tara Weddings immediately stood out from the rest. He was so easy to work with from the very beginning. I shop here all the time, I pay in advance, they keep it for me until I am coming to pick up, and I don't know why those people thinks they can take away the arch that I paid already and giving a bad review about it. The girls here are ethical and they know what they're doing. If you have a favorite product don’t wait hours to come back GET IT RIGHt AWAY!

I love this place! It has amazing stuff for wedding decor, event decor and beautiful faux florals. However the past two times I’ve visited, the staff followed me around everywhere, made me feel really uncomfortable that you think I’m gonna steal something??? I didn’t wanna reduce any stars for this because it is an amazing place but please improve this, it’s not fun shopping when you have someone breathing down your neck especially during covid times. & me being the type of person who likes to think in peace about what I want to buy however with someone following me around the whole time makes me feel rushed. Usually I spend a lot of money there cause I end up loving everything but the last two times because of this incident I hardly bought anything cause I just wasn’t feeling right with staff following me around and literally being two steps away.

The Quality of Chrome gold backdrops aren't worth the price. We have 1400 plus tax, sitting like trash in our warehouse, just after 1 use.

I purchased faux flowers from here to make my wedding bouquets and boutonnieres. They are priced competitively in comparison to shops like Michael's and the quality is good. They look very real in my opinion. I am so pleased with my purchase.

This is the worst worst place I’ve been treated as for customer service satisfaction!
I came all the way from Montréal! She said, not to pay taxes, go to bank get money!! I went to the bank and came back i came to pay it all sas good, then i saw a side that was damaged, i asked her to call her sister and adjust the price a little bit..then she called her sis and guess what her sister said not to lose a couple few dollars, NO ITS SOLD! I asked the owner how you can do that and she said she doesn’t care that i travelled from Montréal… that someone paid etransfer!!! I was there for 3 hours! 3 hours getting stuffs for about 2000$ . Sad for them! I’ll go to event decor supply!!!

Michael Bethke officiated our wedding back in October 2023 and one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning was to have him as our officiant.

During our first meeting, it was very easy to communicate with him. He was so patient with all our questions and answers them clearly. Planning the ceremony alongside him was a breeze as already has the tools/template where we can easily get ideas on how we want our ceremony to be. My fiance (now husband) and I want a short but very meaningful ceremony and that's what he delivered.

Even after the wedding, he will send you reminders for legal documents which i found to be really helpful.

We hired Michal as our wedding photographer and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first phone call to our subsequent meetings, Michal was warm, professional, and very responsive. He asked many questions to understand what exactly we'd like and we relied very heavily on his expertise. On the actual wedding day, Michal was great at directing all the different shots and was very patient through all the chaos (as you can expect from a wedding!). He and Sam seemed to genuinely enjoy shooting weddings and we felt so comfortable in their care. We got the photos back within a week, which was much earlier than his timeline of 2-4 weeks and every shot was beautiful. The colours and lines were clean and bright and framed really well. Michal clearly knows how to shoot weddings! We're so happy that we chose Michal and highly recommend him.

We reached out to tons of photographers but when Michal emailed us back, his warmth, genuineness and passion for what he does stood out among all of them. Michal was extremely professional from the beginning. He took an interest in what type of wedding we wanted to have, what our backgrounds were, and what style we were looking for. We had several meetings leading up to the wedding where we discussed style, shots we would like, and other creative ideas. A week prior to the wedding, we had a call where we agreed on a schedule that he would follow. Of course, the day never goes exactly to schedule. We found that Michal delivered on everything he said he would and was flexible to any changes that happened during the day. We also added a second shooter as our wedding had 205 guests. Overall, very professional and we are satisfied with the finished result.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a wine tour with Lavish Limousine 50-passenger party bus, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the entire experience. From start to finish, it was an absolute delight and exceeded all my expectations.

We booked a 14 passenger Lincoln Navigator for our wedding which never showed up to take the bride to the church. The bride, her elderly parents and bridesmaids had to find another way to the church. As a result they were late for the ceremony.

The company arranged for another vehicle which arrived 2.5 hours later. Our package included a 5.5 hours, red carpet and champagne. We only received 2.5 hours with no red carpet or champagne and we never received our deposit back. Plus we had to pay the new limo company up front before they would take us to our reception.

They were rude and not sympathetic when we tried to get our money back. And difficult to get a hold of. They offered no compensation. We relied on them to be our transportation for our wedding day and they definitely did not fulfil their obligation/contract.

Don’t let this happen to you on your special day.

We booked with Wedding Toronto Limo for our wedding on May 22, 2022. The driver arrived on time and took us to our first look photo location without a hitch. The vehicle was clean and supplied with water bottles and 1 bottle of champagne. However, on the way to the ceremony, the driver took the long way. It should have only taken 20 minutes to get to the ceremony when we looked on Google Maps, however, our driver avoided the highway (even though the collision was cleared) and took 35 minutes total. This pushed back our timeline; resulting in some guests seeing the bride in her dress prior to the ceremony, shortened the time that the bridal party had to freshen up, and delayed our ceremony start time.

Her mix and match ceremony templates made it easy for us to design a ceremony that truly felt like it was just for us, while of course ensuring that all the legal stuff was taken care of as well. Let me preface by saying prior to meeting Mary, my wife and I actually had reservations about going through the whole walking-down-the-aisle thing - neither one of us were religious or particularly sticklers for traditions or pomp and circumstance, and my partner especially hated being the centre of attention, so we had every reason to NOT get officiated - in fact we even thought about just going to City Hall and 'getting it over with'!

But after a friend and a venue independently recommended Mary, we decided to meet up with her for coffee to see if we'd click... and we were so glad we gave her (and ourselves) an opportunity, because as soon as Mary entered the coffee shop, she put us at ease. Over the course of a few coffees and Mediterranean pastries, Mary continued to impress us not just with her knowledge and professionalism, but also with her warmth and her enthusiasm. I especially remember how she respected our values and preferences, and assured us that this will be our day, the way we want it. Not to mention she knew our venue like the back of her hand!

By the end we were completely sold - in fact I'd say that prior to meeting Mary we were quite nervous about planning a wedding, but after we secured her as an officiant we practically built our entire special day around her, because she gave us peace and provided us spiritual anchorage.

On the day of our ceremony, she was funny, professional, humanistic and memorable - my wife and I lost our grandparents when we were young, but on the day of our wedding, it was as if Mary filled their voids with her love.

Be sure to start the rest of your life with the perfect person, by being officiated by the perfect officiant! :)

Mary is a thoughtful and kind officiant, we enjoyed working with her - her confident, relaxed and inclusive style was a match for our values and desired wedding ceremony. Day of she helped expertly manage multiple dynamics to keep our wedding running on schedule. We would happily recommend Mary to others wanting a grounded, values-based wedding ceremony.

Mary was the sweetest, she was so kind, and had a great sense of humour. Arrangements were easily made, and she was super flexible and accommodating to our situation. I could not imagine someone doing a better job - she somehow knew just what we wanted and everything she said during the ceremony was relatable, powerful, and resonated with everyone. I found out about WedSafe from an article published by Brides. I knew I wanted to get wedding insurance the day after receiving a proposal. I called and received six quotes from six companies mentioned in the article. I did not receive the most competitive quote from WedSafe, but I did like that the policy offers job loss insurance with the economy being up and down right now. My experience started very positive. The woman I spoke with over the phone answered all my questions and was very friendly over the phone.

Applying for the policy is self-service. The website needs an update because I attempted to complete the policy on my phone but was directed to do it from a different browser when I ran into trouble submitting.

I should have put the year 2024 instead of 2023. I emailed the company immediately and asked if they could update the date, and I followed up with a call. The person responding to my email said it would be 15 business days. I understand that underwriting takes time, but I will always hold a company accountable for what they say, especially if they provide me with something in writing. I called earlier this week, eager to know if the policy was updated. The woman I spoke with over the phone said 2/23/2024 would be the 15th business day, and it's 2/24/2023, and I am still waiting to receive an update. She said she could not guarantee when the policy would be updated; however, that should have been communicated before they missed a deadline, not after. I need to be covered if anything were to happen, and the company is aware.

Either process the date change or give me my money back so that I can work with another company. The company is amiable when they feel like you have the potential to become a new customer, but once you become a customer, the customer service goes downhill. Do not book with this company WedSafe. Could you hurry up and process my claim?

We absolutely loved this place! Having travelled and stayed in guesthouses a lot in the past ten years, Deena and Ivan's home still really stands out. Yes, the rooms are perfectly clean, the beds are huge and comfy and everything you can dream of is provided for... but the hosts are what makes this one of our fav places. Make sure to listen to every single one of their recommendations especially if you are a foodie! Plus: The homemade granola, seed crackers and warm bread for breakfast? We need to come back!!!

As others have mentioned, the best thing about staying here is the incredible kindness and generosity of the hosts. Deena and Ivan go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and that you are taken care of as well as possible. If you need to leave early in the morning, they will take the trouble to have some breakfast stuff kept out for you. If you need to get some laundry done, they will kindly take care of it. They are full of suggestions for ways to spend your time in Toronto.

The house itself is very nice and in a lovely, quiet residential location, with excellent public transport connections and plenty within walking distance as well, including a couple of supermarkets and an excellent independent coffee shop (Contra Café). The room was very nice and well-furnished on the whole. Everything is very clean and tidy. Breakfast is simple but excellent.
The main thing to be aware of with this particular room is that the noise from the shared bathroom next door can get quite loud, and this can be a bit disruptive. The potential wait time for the bathroom in the mornings is also something to keep in mind, given that it is shared amongst multiple rooms.

For those who might be a bit introverted like myself, it is also worth noting that privacy is a bit limited, given that one has to pass through the common living area of the house every time when entering or exiting, and usually someone (the hosts or the other guests) are around. But I suppose this is a natural part of a homestay arrangement.

Loved this place!! Deena and Ivan were super nice and prepared fresh granola, oat milk and other yummy breakfast things every morning. The house is very beautiful and calm. We had the largest room upstairs, which was huge and very private. It was also pretty easy to get into the city center with public transport
