Came by for a friends birthday and it was a blast! The staff was very accommodating and there was so styles of dancers. We had a sign for the birthday boy and sparklers with the bottle service, it gave a nice nightclub vibe to it. No other club is doing this and it was a great vibe!!

Good club. It's busy on weekends and dead on weekdays. Thursday night is a nice in-between where you get attention from the girls without it being overcrowded. But if you like the higher energy then the weekend is a fun time.

White is hands down the best bridal shop to work with. From the first appointment to the last, the professionalism, kindness, and happiness that is in the building is overwhelming. Kim was fantastic in finding the dresses and ultimately being the one that pulled my dress to try on just for fun and we all knew it was the one the second I came out in it. We booked White Shield Banquet Hall for our wedding reception after seeing them on an Instagram ad, and I’m really glad we did. From the start, I met with Kasun and Chef T who walked me through their packages. I initially planned to just rent the space (since we had outside catering), but after seeing the venue—especially the bricked wall space—I fell in love and decided to go with their full package including food, decor, and the venue. Pricing was very reasonable too.

What made things even easier was being introduced to Grace, who handled most of the coordination. Being able to communicate in Tagalog helped a lot, and I really appreciated her patience with all my questions, changes, and even working around my on-the-day wedding coordinator.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected fire at the restaurant beside the hall, we weren’t able to use the original venue. But the White Shield team was quick to respond and helped us relocate to Renaissance by the Creek. The new venue was also beautiful and spacious, and the entire White Shield team still took care of everything—from food to decor. They did an amazing job recreating our decor inspo photos, especially the sweetheart table! The food was delicious and the service was excellent—our guests had plenty of space to dance and enjoy the night.

While I’m still a little sad we didn’t get to use the hall I initially fell in love with, I truly believe everything worked out the way it was meant to. Huge thanks to Kasun, Chef T, and Grace for pulling everything together and making our wedding unforgettable.

We had our engagement party at WhiteShield Banquet Hall in the Brick Room with about 210 guests, and it was honestly perfect. The space looked beautiful, the staff were super helpful and attentive, and everything ran so smoothly. From the setup to the food and service, they made the whole night stress-free. Our guests had a great time and we got so many compliments on the venue. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day!

I've been to this hall once before and loved it and so we hosted a big get together in the Hazel hall. This was the first experience I had organizing a huge scale event and let me tell you kasun the manager at Whiteshield banquet hall was the reason why it was a breeze! He was so patient with my 101 questions and concerns and was always ready to help even to the very last day! The food was excellent!! All of the 160 guests who came for the event couldn't stop complimenting the food!! We chose the Srilankan menu with late night hoppers and it was just everything we hoped for and more. The staff were kind and hospitable the DJ is great! Honestly this place is going to be a staple for hosting parties. Job well done team at Whiteshield banquet hall!! Until next time:)

Hiring Whitney as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our day. She is, without exaggeration, a dream. From the very beginning, Whitney went above and beyond, offering to meet a week before the wedding to scout photo locations, bringing ideas, energy, and a sense of calm that made us feel like everything was under control. Her attitude is this perfect blend of “I’ve got you” and “you can totally relax and enjoy the day.”

She even offered to bring beautiful props like paper parasols, saving us from buying extra things just for the sake of photos. And let me tell you: the photos. They are stunning. Not just the planned, posed ones, but the in-between moments. Whitney was constantly taking photos throughout the day. The candid shots she captured.. us laughing with family, just being present, are some of our absolute favourites. They’re the kind of photos you look at and go, “That’s exactly how it felt.”

On top of her insane talent, Whitney is kind, collaborative, and so thoughtful. Her husband assisted on the day with props, drone shots, and brought even more good energy to the experience. We felt fully taken care of. I had 110% trust in her, and she exceeded every single expectation.

If you’re getting married, do yourself the biggest favour and book her. Truly, there is no one like Whitney. My husband and I are still beaming.

I had been walking by their window for months, so when I got engaged Whyte was my first and only go to. I was on a tight timeline and unsure if I would be able to make anything work. I could not be happier that I chose to get my wedding dress from Francesca and Jaclyn at Whyte Couture. When I arrived for my first appointment, as the women who had the appointment before me was leaving, she turned to me and said "you'll be treated like family here". She was absolutely right. From the initial consult to picking up my dress, the level of kindness, professionalism and attention to detail was top notch. The dress was flawless and the entire experience was amazing.

A cozy neighbourhood spot with a twist on familiar flavours. The cesar salad and east coast/west coast (scallop and cured salmon) appetizers were solid. Classics done right. I particularly enjoyed the bison tenderloin which was soft and tender. But honestly, I would get that dish again just to have the savoury mushroom pudding that came with it. It was AMAZING. The only thing I would skip on the next time is the fish and chips, it was just okay. The fish didn't taste like much unfortunately.

Hidden gem that is very deserving of their many 5-star reviews! Definitely gotta come back many times before it gets too popular.

I recently visited one of the most incredible local restaurants I've ever experienced. The host was exceptionally polite, professional, and made the dining experience enjoyable. Every recommendation provided was honest and truly outstanding. We absolutely loved our appetizer, and words can't express how delicious our burger was—it's easily one of the best I've ever had in Toronto. Without a doubt, we'll be returning. Highly recommended!

My husband and I sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. The owner Tony and our server Cora were very warm and helpful throughout the evening. We had delicious cocktails and food. We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu! We got the sourdough, bison tartare, beef cheek, bison tenderloin, duck, pistachio cheesecake, and crème brûlée trio. The dishes are well created and presented beautifully.

The bridal bouquet was exactly what I asked for. A dreamy pink soft pastel bouquet with some blue and I loved it. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 is because the bout wasn't a good match for the bouquet (completely white) and it died before the ceremony even began despite being kept in the fridge.

Stunning. Incredible. If you are looking for the BEST flower at any cost, GO HERE. That being said, they aren't cheap. But you get what you pay for, and if your special person is worth a bouquet of flowers, then go for the best.

These flowers last a really long time. Totally worth the money. I've ordered multiple times from this place, and I won't go anywhere else.

I was disappointed to receive my online order of glasses, small and large. Both were from the same brand however the large glasses don’t have the same base as the small ones. I inquired why they aren’t as pictured from their online site and was told they CAN be different however the overall shape is the same. They look odd together and as far as I’m concerned, they are not a match.

UPDATE: I did receive a refund for the highball glasses as it was clear that they weren’t a match. I didn’t look close enough at the small ones but once I found a match from a different vendor, I noticed the imperfections and reached out to William Ashley as it was within a few days of the 30 days return policy and was told to contact Lenox directly. As shown in the pictures of the small glasses, they have black specks embedded in the base and most of the 12 glasses purchased have it. Also, the thick base isn’t uniform and were not poured properly. I did contact Lenox directly as suggested and they told me that since I purchased it from William Ashley, that I was to go through them. Neither were going to take care of it and I am disappointed that I hadn’t noticed the flaws sooner. These glasses will be donated to charity and I would hope that the store will stop using this supplier as the quality is terrible.

Too bad there is not an option to select a negative 1 star. This is the most disorganized and non-customer service retail store that I have dealt with in a long time. Their website is a disaster!!! I selected 2 items for my shopping cart and once the website accepted my payment card(had to do it 5 times) and the order was accepted I noticed that there were 2 of the same items. I desparately tried to contact someone by phone/email and finally managed to have someone call me back in the afternoon to sort out the issue. The Bride had already been contacted so I had to apprise her of the situation. Nice enough retail person who helped me sort out the order but now almost a week later I am waiting on a credit note. I can see that this is going to be lots of work on my part.
I will never, ever purchase anything at William Ashley again.
BTW -the President never responded to my email. Management is from the top down so I guess I know that excellent Customer Service is not in their dictionary.

This store it’s absolutely amazing! The quality and luxury of their products exceeded my expectations. Service was outstanding. Employees are very polite and professional. I have never seen such beautiful china sets as I saw at this store, unbelievably beautiful and luxurious. Totally recommend it.

I've patroned this William Ashley a few times over the years, almost always for the purchase of premium wine glasses ($100+ per stem range). I'm afraid to say I've never had a good experience. It's almost as if the sales staff are deliberately and purposefully trained to be rude and make customers feel small (it's a "legit" sales technique some high end boutiques deploy to make you, the patron, feel like you have to prove your worth to them). Maybe if you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars buying their fine art pieces you get good service. My orders have been in the $500-$1000 range. The experience has always been somewhat demeaning and indignifying. I wouldn't buy from them unless absolutely necessary.

I walked into the store without many expectations, just browsing for a wedding gift for a friend. Patrice was incredibly warm and kind—she took the time to show me around and suggested several thoughtful options. She even found a beautiful item tucked away in the stockroom that ended up being the perfect gift! Patrice was patient, attentive, and truly listened to what I was looking for. This was, hands down, the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Whatever the occasion or your budget, ask for Patrice—you’ll walk out with the perfect item and the biggest smile.

I got married in May, and wanted to be kilted-up with my groomsmen. I had six GMs including my best man, and they all needed to rent, where I wanted to buy my kilt set-up. Fortunately, William Glen & Son had enough rental color options, that each of the guys were able to wear a different tartan without repeating. I of course bought my own family tartan, of which the staff were well versed. They give you a fully tailored experience while letting you take the driver's seat. The advice and insight into Celtic customs was priceless. We ended up getting my bride a sash made from the same cut as my kilt, as well as a dual sided hand-fasting ribbon. One side was my tartan, and the other side was the tartan of her side of the family.
For the jacket and waistcoat we went with a charcoal tweed, and I'm so glad we did. I had our boutonnieres made from cannabis buds which accented the tweed spectacularly.
My groomsmen and I were so proud to wear our outfits and I think we all looked quite handsome.

The two Gentlemen who take care of the customers are top notch! Very knowledgeable, professional and a great sense of humor. They asked me lots of question about my needs and felt they were not trying to sell me anything I did not need.

I particularly liked their Scotch glass selection, accessories full Kilt offering.
Too bad they can't sell you a bottle of Whisky...one can only imagine.

Fantastic experience here renting a kilt. Rental includes almost everything you need, and the staff will explain how to wear the kilt and be helpful solving any other problems you might have.

You can also ask them to check what tartan you should wear, based on your last name or other info.

According to the reviews online orders don’t work well here, but when shopping in person - they have the absolute best prices not just for the area, but for the whole city. The flowers are fresh and the shop is welcoming. So much better than the other snobby shops in the area charging $100 per bouquet. Highly recommend this place.

This shop made my day special. The bouquet I ordered was gorgeous and smelled amazing. The attention to detail showed how much they care about their customers.

They either didn't deliver, delivered late, or delivered with the wrong items with NO HEADS UP. They don't answer their phone either.

I ordered a Valentine's Day balloon and it came with a plain star shaped balloon at 11pm). For Mother's Day, the flowers did not arrive at all. I spent over $100 for each occasion!

I paid for their membership to get lifetime free flower deliveries. Wish I could get that back.

I absolutely love this shop. I come here about once a month to buy some flowers for my mom and it makes her day every time! They let you pick the flowers you like and they can rearrange them into a beautiful bouquet. It’s so customizable and perfect.

DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM WIN’S FLOWERS. I placed an order for delivery. After over a day has passed, tried to contact the store to try and figure it out when the order would be delivered, since no tracking was available. After several attempts, I got to someone, who yelled at me in chinese and hang up. I call back again, and once again I get yelled at in chinese and hung up. This store is a scam. I don’t understand how they have a business with open doors still. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Honestly the best in the industry in terms of value and quality for these suits! I always go to Arthur every time I need a new suit, and I just picked up my 4th one (got my first one ever for my wedding, and then some additional colours+larger sizing over the years)! Arthur is extremely professional m, very responsive, and is so efficient with everything since he’s been doing it for so long.

Truly a gem! You won’t be able to have such a simple and easy process with a good quality suit at such an affordable price anywhere else.

Please please please do not trust them to make your suit!

They screwed up so many things for my wedding. It was nothing other than their own negligence at the end of the day, Arthur offers up terrible consolations or just says "Well it was a free addition anyways so it's okay".

I think I would have been better off buying off the rack and getting it tailored.

Honestly, poor quality suit material, and extremely unprofessional service from Arthur. Only 2 of us (Groomsman) needed to have a re-fitting done and he emails everyone. When asking questions for clarification if is everyone or just those 2 members he does not respond in a timely manner and his response "I am on vacation" when he sent the re-fitting email. 1 groomsman requested cuff links for his dress shirt and he gabe it to the groom instead. He also forgot the inscription for the suit jacket for our groom. If anybody how is that the one you forget. He did not take ownership for his mistake and when asking for a discount or some kind of compensation, he just chuckled sheepishly. For $1000 I could have recieved better service and a better suit elsewhere. I highly do not reccomend going here.

I have had the pleasure of working with Wingmen and Arthur on two occasions. The first as a groomsmen, and the second as the groom. I highly recommend Wingmen for their professionalism, value and attention to detail. Arthur ensured that my wedding day suit was perfect and what I envisioned. From the text messages and emails throughout the process, to ensuring that the liner I wanted was perfect, it was truly a greats experience. The suit fit perfectly to how we measured, and my groomsmen were happy with their suits as well.

My husband ordered his wedding suit along with suits for his groomsmen, father and brothers. Arthur was very accommodating for arranging multiple suit fitting appointments for him and the wedding party and the service provided was very professional and prompt. We were all very pleased with the suits ordered, the quality was very high and all suits were well fitted and delivered well in advance before the wedding. My husband ordered a custom made suit and we were surprised by the level of options available even being able to select the inner lining texture for the blazer. The end result was excellent and he received many compliments during our wedding for his suit.

Albert was an absolute pleasure to work with! He is very knowledgeable and took the time to work with me on my fiance’s list of requirements for her ring in order to find the perfect diamond and setup. When I was able to bring my fiance in to look at the different options in person, he did a fantastic job explaining the different cuts, sizes, quality, style, etc. to her. Based on our discussions leading up to bringing my fiance in, Albert knew exactly what type of ring that would check off all her wants and she was super happy with the options presented.

You can tell Albert is super passionate about his work and extremely focused on delivering quality. He is a consummate professional and not pushy at all. He emphasizes spending time finding the right ring over getting a sale done.

This place is definitely a journal girl's heaven! Bought pentel energel pens and a washi tape here. I was also tempted to buy the 2026 Hobonichi Techo since they have it in store already! Hilary is so nice and helped me find what I was looking for.

What a beautiful stationary store! They have everything for stationary lovers… High quality notebooks, fountain pens, ink, stickers, washi tapes… you name it! :) They have a lot of cute products from Japan! The staff is also very nice and helpful. It is now one of my favorite stores in Toronto!

We had our baby shower in woodbine banquet hall. We are satisfied and happy with services provided to us . Thanks to Reema who helped us in arranging most of the stuff and was open to feedbacks. We had blast during our baby shower party .. the waitress were serving pass arounds continuously.. they service ,hall and food was on point ..

Seems like a nice venue. But worst service ever. I Was there for an event yesterday. There was no coordination from the service staff from the hall. There security guard behaved as if he is ICE. The what seem to be manager/supervisor for the staff at this banquet hall was a real disaster. She treated guest like absolute trash. Food was late to be served and bars was closed off earlier than usual for these occasions. Lots of bad mismanagement. I will never do an event here of my own nor would I recommend this hall t anyone I know. Maybe the staff/supervisor should take a course is the field of working there and hospitality going forward.

I was searching for a very clean and affordable hotel near Toronto’s Pearson Airport.

I wanted a hotel that could provide reasonable value for a reasonable night’s rate.

Woodbine Banquet Hall Hotel is that hotel for me.

The hotel provides a free breakfast with each nights stay.

Delicious meaty bacon or sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, cereal, toast, muffins, fruit salad, pancakes, juices, coffee or tea. The bacon quality surpasses all other hotel continental breakfasts I have ever experienced.

Many of the staff have worked at the hotel for 20 - 30 years. This tells you something of the family staff feeling and wonderful daytime management of this facility .

I stayed eight nights in October 2024 and Iit is certainly make my number choice for a local airport hotel.

We had our Mandvo (pre-wedding event) at the Woodbine Banquet hall, and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were very helpful and responsive. We dealt with Marzuk primarily and he was absolutely fantastic! He helped us go over the menu and make modifications for all dietary needs. He even sat down with the chef and provided a table for dietary restrictions. He was always very responsive and made our night a complete success!

The banquet hall was beautifully done, and we got so many compliments on the food! I would 100% suggest this venue if you have an upcoming event!

Woodland weddings is the most beautiful, magical, and whimsical wedding venue in the entire world. When we met with Miriam months back to plan for the wedding she from the start was wonderful, helpful and accommodating. Our wedding was calling for storms so we all had our fingers crossed, and it just so happened the day of right before we got there everything cleared and we had the most beautiful and magical wedding ceremony in the woods that we could’ve asked for. It was absolutely endearing that both Miriam and Vic seemed just as excited if not even more so than we were that the weather cleared up, and they did everything they could to help us in any way possible to ensure the day went smoothly. Not only are they amazing people, but the venue is GORGEOUS! We can’t thank them enough for helping us plan and navigate our dream wedding in the woods on their beautiful farm. We CAN NOT recommend them enough!

Woodland Weddings offers a gorgeous forest woodsy ceremony space that we just fell in love with. Miriam the owner is so friendly and warm, so accommodating and responsive. We had a gorgeous woodsy whimsical ceremony, exactly what were looking for, we were able to add our own personal touches and it was a dream come true!!! Thank you Miriam to you and your team (and the turkeys too..gobble gobble! 😆).

When I first came across Woodland Weddings I sent them a message and Miriam promptly responded to me and we scheduled a site visit right away.

Upon meeting her and her husband Vic I was blown away. They are a fabulous couple and super polite in their demeanour.

They open up their home for the wedding party to get ready and are wonderful with whatever you need!

The venue itself is gorgeous and some of my guests described it as a “fairytale”. You have an endless selection of photo ops in the woods, by the house, wheat fields, swings and corn crops.

Miriam was so charismatic when my hairstylist showed up she thought Miriam was a relative.

I have been privileged to attend two weddings in this location and both were magical! This venue cannot be beaten if you are looking for a unique, natural backdrop for this most special of days! Vic and Miriam are amazing and work so hard to make sure all is perfect. You won't be disappointed! I also recommend you book the house as well - it is a stunning, light filled home ideal for photos!

We love this place but it's a bit of a trek. Went to see frog and toad. Have gone to gluten free garage in the past and this was much more chill.

Great playground! Unique playground equipment, my son loves to climb the web line Spiderman and the rotating monkey bar wheel thing. Splash pad is cool too.

A big city gem! The Saturday morning market is something everyone should experience, and you'll likely want to keep coming back! Come hungry and bring your shopping bags for fresh produce, cheese etc...

Attended Halloween Howl with Solid and Rob with my little ones. Amazing show if you have not taken it in. The farmers market is not to be missed either. Highly recommended. It's a good way to meet other members of the community and it's important to teach our children how they can be part of the local community.

A nice way to connect with the neighborhood and community. One get authentic fish roti, Tibetan momo's, homemade sushi and miso soup, fresh pastries, baked goodies, cheese, meat and fruit and vegetables. The price is a bit high but it's worth it.

I have admired their work from the moment they captured my cousins wedding 9 years ago and I knew he would also be the one to capture ours! Danny and Eugene are the most incredible duo! Danny did an incredible job keeping us updated with what to expect, timelines, tips and tricks for the big day and a lot of excitement for our wedding day!!! Not only did they both do us the honor of being our videographers for our wedding day but unknowingly to us, they did us the favor of capturing some behind the scenes videos for us to reminisce on the day after. I always noticed Eugene and Danny moving around and capturing the little details that I know will be an incredible addition to our wedding video. And I was right! The little details caught on video were incredible. It made remembering that day so much more special. The video itself was a masterpiece, we still can't stop watching it. The team at Xpression video were and are fantastic. Very detailed oriented, very organized and a pleasure to work with. Danny made the process of recording our wedding completely hands off. Danny and his crew were top notch. They are a great team to work with. Leading up to our wedding he had a few calls with us to get an understanding of what we wanted. He was very responsive. The day of the way, they were on time and on schedule. They also were not intrusive which was important for me during our ceremony. When we received our wedding video, it was beautiful. We were both speechless as he captured our day in a spectacular way. I would recommend this company, 100%!!!
