My daughter found the dress and said yes after other store frustrations! The fitting rooms were spacious and beautifully lit, making the whole process feel luxurious. And the photo areas? Absolutely esthetic. The icing on a very memorable cake.

We drove 8 hours to get here, and it was worth it. Highly recommend to anyone searching for that perfect dress and a truly special experience.

AMAZING STORE. I bought my 2 daughter's prom dresses here and I was impressed by the personal service and the choices and quality of the dresses this store has to offer. Both time, we took an hour appointment with the owner and each time my daughter had time to try different styles she liked and see the different colors available. Once you choose the style you like and the color, they will make the dress to fit your size. They also keep a log of which school you come from, so another girl from your school doesn't buy the same dress. The owner is very nice and experienced and gives great advice. She listens to what you like and don't like and come up with "The dress". Both times my daughters found their dream dresses here within an hour. No stress, no pressure and we didn't feel we needed to go anywhere else. There was a nice couch for me to sit down and look at the different styles my daughter tried on in front of a huge mirror. It was peaceful as we were by ourselves in the store with no other customers, 1:1 with the owner. Excellent quality and prices were very reasonable too. Don't wait too long to go before your prom because they need time to make the dress for you. (I would suggest to go before the end February if you want it custom made but you can check with them) They can also do small adjustments, if needed, when the dress arrives. You can also buy off the rack if you are too close to your prom date and they can do adjustments.

I had a great experience working with the lovely folks at Poshfair! The initial trying on was fun, the store was quiet so we were able to have the focus all on us, and Mila was awesome! The fittings were fast, and the team was very nice and willing to work with my tighter timeline.

Small boutique, a quiet personal experience. The owner knows what she's talking about and the quality beats out bigger box wedding dress stores. We found the dress!! She even did up a sketch so we could see the changes that we made to the dress. Awesome experience and definitely would recommend!

Chris and her team at Simply Beautiful are amazing and go above and beyond! I had been to a handful of bridal stores in the Ottawa region and couldn’t find what I was looking for. On a friend’s recommendation I went to Simply Beautiful in Pakenham. Chris made me feel so welcome and had curated a number of dresses for me to try on based on pictures of my top choices from other stores that were in my budget. All her dresses are beautiful, she has a wide variety and some designers that weren’t available elsewhere! I never once felt rushed or pressured into buying anything (which for an indecisive bride like myself was super appreciated). Needless to say I ended up finding my dream dress!! I recently picked up my dress and she had sized me perfectly, the dress will only require minimal alterations! Chris even pairs you with a talented seamstress that are close to your home.

Not only bridal gowns, Simply Beautiful also has a large selection of bridesmaid and mother of the bride dresses, that are high quality and reasonably priced. They also had the perfect hunter green dress colour I was looking for. They have been super accommodating booking multiple appointments for my bridesmaids with busy schedules and letting everyone take their time to pick their dresses! My mom even tried on a MOB dress and ended up buying it on the spot!

Simply Beautiful is a one stop shop! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy your wedding dress/bridesmaid/MOB/prom dress here. It’s a lovely atmosphere and all around was a stress free and fun experience! :)

Nadine helped us out and she was so amazing, I literally found like 20 bridesmaid dresses and she was so quick and helpful and great at clipping the dresses. She brought us swatches to see and showed us different colours online and recommended great dresses. She was so lovely and made the experience amazing. Found a great blue dress and am so happy! Nadine did such a great job with us!

I got my dress for an opera performance from Sophia’s Boutique. Specifically, Raggy was helping us and she was so so kind and helpful. She listened to my preferences with dresses, and helped us find so many beautiful dress options, as well as dresses I would never have thought to try on. She was so friendly and welcoming, and the shop had a very comfortable feel which made it very enjoyable to shop there. The dress I ultimately chose was absolutely gorgeous and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful, helping lace up the backs of dresses, finding other dress recommendations, and providing tailoring recommendations. The shop had a vast supply of dresses in numerous different styles. This was an amazing experience and I would definitely come back, and recommend it to others.

Bought my (very early) prom dress here. I was really impressed with the selection and Nadine was amazing. She was very attentive, helpful, and kind. She helped suggest styles and assisted not only her own clients but others when her coworkers were busy. Even when it was busy at the store, Nadine remained upbeat and efficient. I highly recommend booking an appointment at Sophia’s Boutique with Nadine specifically.

I went on a busy Saturday and the staff were still super accommodating and attentive. Heila was fantastic at finding dresses that worked for me. She provided good advice and in the end helped me find the perfect mother of the bride dress! Thank you Heila!

This was the best experience from start to finish. I was nervous going in to dress shopping, but Marissa made the whole experience so lovely and fun. I felt so prioritized and safe trying on dresses. She really made me feel like what I wanted was the most important thing. My dress was the first one I tried on. I had found it through their online pinterest boards. I was still able to try on many other options, but I went back to the first one. I went back here a few months later to buy a veil and found one that was so beautiful. Truly an amazing experience overall, the women here run an amazing business!

I cannot express how much my experience at WLR was more amazing than I anticipated it to be! I already had so much anxiety going into the process. From start to finish, this was by far the best experience and I couldn't of been more happy, having and enjoying every minute. Sydney was my consultation and by far the best, she was not afraid to get up close and personal and made the experience so comfortable and fun for me. Had an amazing experience at Renewed with love tonight (feb 18 2025). You walk in and the store is light and airy and full of beautiful gowns. Grace was my consultant. She was welcoming right from the beginning and super nice. All of her picks were amazing and each one was better than the last until we found the dress! She was professional and knowledgeable but also funny and kept up great conversation. With dress she pulled it was like she knew exactly what I was thinking and we found a dress that was under budget! We would 100% recommend renewed with love to everyone.

I had the best wedding dress shopping experience I could have asked for; all thanks to my consultant Marissa! She presented me with options within and around my budget, and felt more like a friend than a salesperson. Where other bridal consultants have laughed in my face upon hearing my modest budget, Marissa pulled something stunning off the rack. The store itself is also just really beautiful. 10/10

This was my very first bridal gown store experience, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t have a specific stylist in mind, so I was paired with Nishita and I’m so glad I was! As a shy bride, I was pretty hesitant about the whole process, but Nishita made me feel so comfortable. She wasn’t pushy at all and suggested styles I wouldn’t have considered but ended up really liking. I appreciated how she respected my preferences and asked thoughtful questions to better understand my style. The store itself is lovely, many designs to choose from. I had a truly delightful experience with Svetlana. Initially, she seemed somewhat reserved. However, once we began, her personality blossomed, revealing a truly wonderful individual. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and offered excellent recommendations.

I had booked a 1 hr bridal appointment today Jun 1 with NATHALIA. Due to the heavy traffic, I got to my appointment 30 minutes late so I only had 30 minutes allotted time left for my appointment. Because of the lack of time, I had low hopes in finding “the dress” since I wanted to take my time to make that decision.

Luckily, I knew exactly what I wanted (Trumpet/Mermaid style, sweetheart, lace, tulle). NATHALIA utilized our little time very wisely and picked up some dresses according to that style and my budget.

She really helped me envision myself in my perfect dress by styling me with the perfect veil, dimming the lights for the “evening look” and walking me down in front of the window for more natural light. To my surprise - I found it - I said yes to the dress!!!! My first time here, and in just 30 minutes! BONUS: I got my dream dress OFF THE RACK ON CLEARANCE!

The experience to find the bridal dress at BFB was so much fun. The sales Rep. Susan was fun loving and definitely speaks to your best interests. The screen to see how your back looks was helpful.
I did not want to buy anything over 1k and that includes the veil and the team were so good to help me the dress and veil I loved the most in my budget.

I just got my dress from Best for Bride in Etobicoke and it was such a great experience! I first went there earlier this week by myself and my stylist Nathaly was so patient and helpful and even got pictures and videos for my mum! I never felt rushed during the entire appointment. I wasn’t able to make the final decision on my own so I went back a few days later with my sister. Nathaly helped me try on more dresses and was great at suggesting alteration changes to fit exactly what I was looking for. She also help me get the full picture of each dress I lived with accessories, and did I mention they have evening lights in their changing area so you can see what the dress will look like during the reception!!! Ultimately I went with the one I chose the first day though. Best for Bride is definitely a little hidden gem.

After trying several boutiques, I finally found my wedding dress - and actually had a hard time selecting after falling in love with so many options!) As my bridal consultant during the appointment, Lexie was absolutely amazing, and made me feel so confident and relaxed (which was wonderful as a super stressed bride to be!)

My experience at Blush & Raven was exceptional! I had scheduled my initial appointment, and a dress from a designer they carried caught my eye online. I emailed them to see if they had it at the boutique, and they didn’t. So I asked if there was any way that they could have the dress brought in, thinking it would be an immediate ‘no.’ They told me they would see what they could do. Fast forward to my appointment, and they brought out a few gorgeous dresses that were top contenders, and I had assumed they weren’t able to bring the other dress in. Sure enough, after a bit of time, they finally told me they had the dress there!! That dress ended up being the one I picked, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the B&R team for making it happen. The boutique is stunning, the dress options are gorgeous, and the customer service is unmatched. I would highly recommend B&R to all brides looking for a curated and seamless experience.

I cannot express how grateful I am to have had such a wonderful experience at Blush and Raven. Yasmeen is an incredible stylist - so good at what she does - and really did go above and beyond to help meet my criteria while also working with a very short timeline. I felt entirely taken care of by all of the girls at Blush and Raven and really did feel that they’d do everything possible (even if it seemed impossible) to help me find or create the dress of my dreams. Given how quickly I required a dress, I really don’t think I’d ever be able to have the full wedding gown buying experience, but these girls gave me that and more, and I will be forever grateful.

Blush & Raven is a must! I had an amazing bridal shopping experience here and it was such a special day. The boutique itself is stunning, very modern and beautiful. I opted for a luxury appointment and am so happy that I did. The room was beautiful and the refreshments provided were perfect. When we arrived we were greeted by Yasmeen, who was a fantastic stylist. She had an interview with me at the beginning and really listened to what I was asking for and the styles I was interested in, and throughout the appointment she pulled a range of dresses she knew would be perfect for the wedding venue and vibes. I really appreciated how she made sure to get to know both myself and the group I was with, and my whole group truly loved our appointment. During the whole process Yasmeen made me feel incredibly comfortable and beautiful, and her expertise on not just the dresses and any alterations we could do but also the overall bridal styling and accessories was amazing. While I didn’t end up buying my dress from here, this was a boutique I will recommend anyone. If you’re looking for a personalized shopping experience, with Yasmeen as your stylist you are in great hands!

I fell in love with a dress and ended up buying it!! Only thing is the employees were lacking is service. I didn’t take an appointment and there was 3 sales associates that were dealing with another client and I was stuck clamping my own dress and getting my own veil to try on. Instead the sales rep is snacking in front of clients instead of helping. Over all I am happy with the dress I just think the staff should be more present with the bride…

I just wanted to express how amazing my experience has been at 1861 the past several times I’ve gone! I also want to thank them for ACTUALLY being size inclusive!! I am a size 18/ 20 and normally I dread shopping because there is not enough selection in my size and it’s usually not very fashionable or stylish. But this wasn’t the case for me yesterday. Two women really took care of me and found a selection of 10 dresses I could try on! Now, not all of them fit but I actually had some amazing choices! I am elated at the dress I found as well as the entire shopping experience, I am so grateful!

I have also had many great past shopping experiences and have brought several friends to buy dresses here. It never disappoints! Highly recommended!

Highly recommend Boutique JAdore!! They were amazing and extremely helpful in a stressful situation. My original wedding dress from a different store arrived and was the wrong size and not fixable - I was able to get a same day appointment at JAdore and found my true dream dress that same day! I was able to buy it off the rack as my wedding was 2 months away. The alterations were perfect as well, and I had the dress home with me about 3 weeks after choosing it! I could not have asked for a better experience while in a stressful situation trying to find a new dress 2 months before my wedding! 💒

Lydia was the absolute best dress consultant and the best friend to your fitting that you never expected! I came in not trying on a single dress yet and no idea what I wanted. She taught me how to put on a wedding dress, gave me recommendations that were very well within my budget and made my experience at Bravo Bridal the best I’ve experienced. I came back a second time to try on my first choice dress from my first fitting and ended up saying yes to the dress! Discovered this hidden gem in the city located inside the mall. As a solo visitor trying on wedding dresses for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by the great experience provided by Peter. He was very accommodating assisting me to sort out my favourite styles, and to try on as many wedding dresses with different styles and necklines as I wish.

I haven't made a decision to purchase which one yet for today, maybe soon after discussing with my fiance, though, want to shout out to my sale rep for being helpful, nice and patient.

Definitely worth visiting for bridal and prom dresses (with or without breaking the bank) ;)))

I had a great experience trying on wedding gowns here a couple of weeks ago. I made an appointment and shared my dress Pinterest board ahead of time. When I arrived for my appointment, Rochella had pulled a number of dresses based on my size and Pinterest board. She was so thorough, helpful, and generous with her time. I would definitely recommend the shop!

I was immediately struck by their selection of dresses, each one seemed to be chosen for its quality finish and beautiful details. There are dresses for every body-type. The manager is very well informed and will personally see that any dress is properly fitted to your figure. She’s amazing! I have since returned to this dress shop three times, each time with different people. Just… try on any dress!!

The gown I chose fits me perfectly and beautifully complements my figure. The price was very reasonable, and the service—from the first fitting to the day I picked up the dress—was exceptional. June added a lovely pearl bustle to my gown and carefully reinforced the buttons with double stitching to ensure everything was secure.

I absolutely adore Connie and June, the two sisters who run the store. Connie helped my mom and I find our dresses for my wedding this July, and she was so wonderful in updating me when the dresses were ready. Both Connie and June helped to do our fittings to ensure that the dresses fit perfectly. They gave such great advice during our fittings - how to put on the dresses properly, how to bustle the dress (the bustle they created was beautiful!!), etc... The seamstress that they work with is impeccable - such amazing handiwork done on the dresses, as my mom and I are both petit women. Connie and June are so so kind and patient, and we just absolutely enjoyed working with them!

Wedding dress shopping day was the most stressful part of my dig day. I had a vision in mind but not sure if I would find it. I set out to visit three bridal shops. First stop was Bridals By Al-Mor. After trying 4 dresses I thought were my vision, Jessica asked me to humour her and try a dress that I did not think was my style, but I humoured her. The moment I saw my reflection I knew that it was the dress for me… my quest was completed, I said yes to the dress.

Bridals By Al-Mor is more than a dress shop. The staff are amazing and knowledgeable. Their seamstress is exceptional. My groom to be and dad were fitted by them as well. They helped make our big day a success.

But wait, that’s not all... after all was said and done come to find out they offer dry cleaning services for my dress…. AWESOME!!!!! Bridals By Al-Mor is a complete wedding shop package that will leave you more than satisfied.

Dress Scoop is a super cute boutique with great service and a nice selection of dresses. The woman who helped us was lovely and made the experience enjoyable. However, most of the sample dresses were too small to try on for an average-sized girl like me, which made it difficult to get a true idea of the fit and style. I’d recommend asking about sizing before booking an appointment. I didn’t end up buying my dress here, but overall, it was still a good experience!

My daughter and I stopped in at Durand Bridal on a Sunday afternoon in June - without an appointment - and were warmly greeted by staff. We were not expecting that they would be able to allow my daughter to try on some dresses for her 2026 wedding without an appointment but they were only too happy to accommodate us. Gracie completely understood my daughter's wish for a grand ball gown style dress and after trying on several dresses, found THE dress. The dress of her dreams. A big bonus that the dress also happened to be on sale. We returned a week later with my daughter's bridal entourage and went through the dresses again for comparison. All that were present LOVED the dress too!
