As a photographer, working at The Estates of Sunnybrook was truly a dream! This stunning location elevates wedding photos and videos to an entirely new level. The staff and vendors were incredibly kind and helpful—not just to me, but to every single guest—with the best intentions to make the couple’s day unforgettable.

It’s definitely a venue I will continue to recommend to my future clients.

We booked Estates of Sunnybrook (EOS) after doing tons of searches. Once we saw the McLean House we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. The house is BEAUTIFUL, the grounds are kept impeccably and the FOOD -- amazing.

Though there were a few limitations, Diane our sales manager, and Paula, or catering director/manager made sure we had the best day. At the end of it all, our wedding was perfect and we wouldn't have chosen a different venue for our wedding. Both my husband and I loved the garden for our ceremony, the tent extension on the patio for our reception, and the other included rooms in the house for cake serving and late night poutine.

Though our schedule was pushed back a little because of tent setup, small rainfall, and a day-of complication with our helium tanks, the EOS staff are very experienced and were very ad hoc and discussed with our GM what they could do to make the guests enjoy the day without any issues and I gotta say, it was fantastic. I was impressed.

Also, our guests all said they LOVED the venue and that it was the best wedding food they've ever had (of course we ordered the best of the best menu choices for our guests -- and also the amazing chef allowed us to make a few substitutions to the food pairings -- things we enjoyed a great deal at the tasting). You really get what you pay for! The food was so amazing that after we looked back at photos of the day, we want to return just to have the meal again.

Only 1 thing I would suggest is to allow 2nd wedding party of the day to setup earlier.

Had my January wedding here and from venue to the food it was perfect. Ann was amazing to work with, so easy going, and helped me make my dream wedding come true. The food was delicious and the service was spectacular. The venue is georgeous, both inside and out. Sunnybrook took care of everything and I did not have one worry on my wedding day. I would reccommend to anyone to use their services!

Had the chance to experience the magic of Sunnybrook at a company event and just wow. The McLean house has lots of space and rooms for walking around, dancing and dining. The house is fully furnished and decorated so it is ideal for pictures anywhere. There are several washrooms on the second floor - I guess that comes handy for wedding parties. There is lots of free parking for the guests too which is great. The service of the team who tended to our event were just wonderful, specially the head manager or supervisor of the event. He went above and beyond. I would totally go back for another party!

Great place for weddings and other social and business events. We had a catered business lunch here and the food was very good.

The Herb Garden is hands down one of my favourite wedding venues in the Ottawa area. As a photographer, I’ve had the joy of capturing many weddings here, and each time I’m reminded of just how special this place is. The owners, Katey and Nathan, are truly wonderful to work with—so kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making each wedding day unforgettable. They care deeply about their space and the couples who choose it, and it shows in every little detail.

Having our wedding at this venue was a dream come true. It was magical and our guests loved it. What an absolutely perfect place to have a wedding!
My husband and I recently got married at The Herb Garden and it was the most perfect atmosphere we could have asked for. The decor that they have set up (even before we set up any of our own decor!) is so beautiful and elegant and it makes adding your own spin so very easy!
Katey and Nathan are extremely easy to work with and communicate very efficiently. On our wedding day they were busy behind the scenes making sure everything was running smoothly, but you never would have even known they were there!

We had access to everything we needed while we were there, including a bridal lounge, buffet/dessert barn, washrooms, open fields, a gazebo, indoor and outdoor bar area, various extra decor pieces, and so much more.
Dozens of our guests came up to us during the evening telling us what an amazing venue we chose and how it was so personable and cozy, and we could not agree more.

If you are looking for a beautiful wedding location out in the country, you will find none better than The Herb Garden!

If it wasn't for this venue, we would have likely cancelled our wedding. It was the most perfect, beautiful venue and was exactly what we were looking for. We only saw one venue, and booked it before we left.
On top of that, the owners are the most amazing people and are perfect for this industry. Katey and Nathan don't just provide you the venue, but provide you the opportunity to make your wedding how you want it. The flexibility of bringing in our own catering, alcohol service, music options, and more made our wedding feel unique and that's what we were looking for. They are there to help and guide you as needed, and are so unbelievably helpful leading up to the event. And then night of, my goodness they were superstars. There is an endless list of compliments that we can give to this venue, but even more so about the amazing owners.
Please, do yourself a favour and just visit this venue if you have any desire for an outdoor barn style wedding. And make sure to meet with Katey and Nathan. And then just take it in before you make a decision. Because I can tell you, this is the right spot for your wedding!

I recently visited at The Inn on Officers Garden restaurant, for a wedding and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and lively, making the day feel even more special. We had the winer room with a stunning wine wall that added so much charm, elegant, and perfect atmosphere. The food was truly delicious — beautifully presented. The service stood out as well: the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. It was a real pleasure to spend time there and I am grateful for the opportunity to be there.

We celebrated our wedding at this wonderful restaurant. The location is incredibly peaceful and very beautiful. The atmosphere, preparation, and organization were all at the highest level. Every detail that was important to me was carefully considered.

I especially want to highlight the manager, Ranijth, who organized everything perfectly. We had a private room separate from the main restaurant, which made the day even more cozy and special.

The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. All our guests were very happy.

That’s why I truly recommend this place for any important event. Our wedding here was simply unforgettable!⭐️

Will forever be my go to hotel in Calgary! Stayed for a week while my son was doing a hockey camp. The rooms were beautiful and the restaurant had the best food. The customer service was absolutely amazing and I truly felt like I was at home. The pub downstairs (with pool table, darts and tv) and the park across the street kept my kiddo entertained the entire time. Not a wine drinker, but they had a very impressive list. The full bar gave me lots to chose from. The food was amazing, but the waitstaff who served it will never be topped by another restaurant I ever visit. The personal connection I made with everyone during my visit will never be forgotten.

Very nice place, great settings. I had Bison steak. Was good, except some gristle that spoiled it a bit. Mash was good, veg nice, sauce good, rich, my opinion maybe add some berries like blueberries raspberries for bit of sharpness. Not really sure it was worth the $60

I stayed at The Inn last week during a family emergency. The care and concern that the staff showed was truly touching. Everyone was so unfailingly kind. The amenities available on site are great, and the rooms are decorated with such an artistic eye. The linens are of the highest quality, and the beds are super comfortable.

Special mention the bartender/server Sean, who let us stay in the dining room long after the kitchen had closed and looked after our every need. In terms of service, he just went above and beyond.

I can only imagine the care that would be taken in making sure a special day like your wedding would be perfectly executed.

My stay at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel itself blends timeless elegance with modern comfort, the lobby and common spaces are beautifully designed, while the rooms are spacious, luxurious, and impeccably maintained.

One of the highlights was the outstanding service. Every request was handled promptly and with genuine care, whether it was dining recommendations, housekeeping, or concierge assistance. The amenities are equally impressive, the rooftop pool offers a serene escape with stunning city views, and the spa is a true sanctuary.

What really sets the Ritz-Carlton Montreal apart is how effortlessly it makes you feel at home while still offering world-class luxury. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in ensuring every guest has a flawless experience. I left feeling refreshed, cared for, and eager to return.

We were only there for the afternoon tea so I can’t comment for the other aspects. It was great value. We thought the service was professional and courteous. The pastries were good, and the savory snacks had a Montreal-specific twist to them which was a nice touch. I particularity appreciated the live pianist.

Love love loved this hotel! From the check in process, you know it’s going to be a good stay. We were promptly greeted by the valet. Check in at front desk was super efficient. We were offered cold towels and water, and we were even given drink tokens for having gold status. These “tokens” were something else - think Ritz Carlton specific silver coins. I almost wanted to save mine as a souvenir but the espresso martini was calling to me. The front desk staff walked us to our room and showed us the room features. Our room was decorated with rose petals for our anniversary and we received a handwritten card with snacks to celebrate. Best macarons I’ve ever had.

The bed was super comfy and I loved the toilet (automatic sensor, heated seats, bidet). We had a nice view from our room.

During our stay, we visited Palm Court (lobby bar) and Maison Boulud for dinner. Ambiance, food, drinks were so good!

Location is very central and walkable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad when we had to leave. The spa looked nice - will have to try this next time. Thank you to Jorge and the front desk staff (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name - tall lady with glasses) for your hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

Our recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal truly felt like something out of a storybook. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff weren’t just professional—they were warm, funny, and genuinely attentive. They helped us plan our adventures around town with ease and always made us feel completely at home.

We were in Montreal for a festival, and even with all the excitement of a busy weekend, the service never missed a beat. Every detail—from the thoughtful touches to the gracious hospitality—was handled with care. It’s no exaggeration to say the experience was unforgettable.

I enjoyed it so much, I extended my stay by another day—which is something I rarely ever do!

If I had one small suggestion, it would be to modernize the in-room TV system to allow guests to easily connect their personal streaming services. That aside, The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal is pure luxury, warmth, and elegance. If you’re visiting the city and want a memorable, five-star experience—this is where the magic happens.

I've stayed at numerous nice/expensive hotels around the world and frequently have good experiences - places with nice lobbies, nice rooms, friendly staffs - but nothing that is super noteworthy. I had a recent visit to The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto for a conference and for the first time in a while was genuinely impressed by a hotel. From the very moment of check-in it felt like an elevated experience - staff that went out of their way to make that little extra effort like walk you to the elevator or send up some complimentary drinks to your room. It for sure felt like a next level experience.

The room was so nice. Extremely spacious bathroom with a large bathtub and walk-in shower - the finishing and the fixtures stood out - just an all around cozy and comfortable experience from the moment you walk in. And the room itself was great - plenty of luxurious pillows, a big desk, several chairs - of course its still a regular hotel room nothing super fancy but it just felt like little extras every time I turned around. And finally a perfect view of the CN Tower from the window. Couldn't have really asked for anything more.

The conference area as well was a good experience. Friendly and kind staff, delicious food - a smooth operation.

The location is of course good - just a few minutes walk to Union Station and 10 or 15 to the waterfront.

Enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Ritz-Carlton to celebrate our 15 year anniversary with our 9 year old daughter.

Upon check-in they had to shuffle some things around to secure a room with a king-size bed, which was appreciated. However I was then concerned we wouldn't have anything set up in the room to celebrate the anniversary as I'd requested...lo and behold, about 45 mins after checking in, a very friendly member of staff dropped off a balloon and bottle of sparkling wine to our room...It's little touches like this which really set the true luxury properties apart.

Any interaction with staff was warm and generous without ever feeling over-bearing. The rooms and lobby are beautifully decorated...there is just quality everywhere you look (such as solid marble walls and floors in the bathroom suites or the truly incredible robes!

Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend - excellent location in the heart of Toronto to boot!

We had an incredible stay for my birthday weekend. Our corner suite was spacious, comfortable, and blissfully quiet—perfect for unwinding. Our suite included access to the Club Lounge, which quickly became our favourite spot to relax. The food offerings throughout the day were outstanding, and we enjoyed fantastic wine and cocktails whenever we liked.

The staff truly made the experience exceptional—especially Olga in the Club Lounge. Her warm smile and radiant energy each evening were unforgettable, and we’ll genuinely miss her.

Even knowing we were at a five-star hotel and fully aware of the cost, we were still blown away by the level of service and the way we were cared for from start to finish.

We’re already looking forward to the next time we can treat ourselves to another visit.

Visit on 9/1/25 for our father's birthday. We kept his birthday gift in our room safe. Prior to leaving for his birthday dinner, the safe malfunctioned and did not open. Upon calling for help, we were told that the engineer will be called when he is available. After waiting 15 minutes, we were already behind schedule and could not wait for him. We proceeded to the club lounge to celebrate the occasion. At that time, our dinner was interrupted and asked to return to our room for the engineer to resolve the safe issue. After a 15 minute ordeal, the situation was finally resolved. But, this all came at an expense of hindering our plans for the night. Max, the manager, was not able to offer us a resolution prior to check out and promised to reach out to us within a day. After nearly a week, he did not reach out to us as promised. Upon reaching out to him, he dismissed the situation and was not able to offer a reasonable compensation. Very disappointed in Max. Ritz Carlton needs to hire managers that truly care and are compassionate about the expectations of their guests. Perhaps you should stay at the Four Seasons for a true 5 star experience.

Exceptional Service and Prime Location — A Few Room Quirks, But Still Worth It

I recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto and had a memorable experience—mostly thanks to the outstanding service, especially from the Club Lounge team and front desk staff. The hotel’s downtown location is unbeatable and makes exploring Toronto very convenient (plus, it’s just a short walk from the UP Express train from the airport!).

Upon arrival, I had an issue with my reservation (entirely my fault), but the front desk associate was kind, professional, and helped me get everything sorted out smoothly. Once checked in, I did notice a few issues with the room’s cleanliness and some rips in the sheets. I brought this up the next morning, and the front desk manager could not have been more apologetic or accommodating. He went above and beyond and upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the top floor with Club Lounge access to make up for the inconvenience—truly excellent service.

We upgraded our stay to include Club Lounge access, and I highly recommend it. While we don’t drink, the overall value of the lounge is fantastic—the food offerings were fresh and varied, and the service was impeccable. The team even noted my allergies and made sure I had safe, delicious options at each meal.

The hotel also features a well-equipped gym and a full-service spa. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay, but I’d definitely come back when it reopens. One area for improvement: the rooms could use a refresh. The TV was a bit outdated, and there were a few signs of wear and tear throughout the space—nothing major, but noticeable at this level of hotel.

Overall, I would absolutely return to The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto—especially to celebrate a special occasion. The staff make you feel valued, and the service truly reflects the Ritz-Carlton name.

Every time I rent an item, it's in pristine condition. Delivery is always punctual, set up smoothly, and picked up without any hassle. Super reliable and so easy to work with! And the best part—there’s such a huge selection of stunning items to choose from for all kinds of events. Highly recommend!

Attended Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel The Exhibition. It was awesome! When you realize this was done in the 1500s, amazing! It is only on in Toronto until Apr. 2/23.

The food and bar service were exceptional. We saved so much money and worry on decor, as they have so many items available for use. Have never been here, had never heard of it. Not surprising with the lacklustre name! This space is made for parties and special events. Cool indoor space, with all sorts of options, large outdoor patio area. Just loved it!

I recently attended an event at the Toronto Event Centre, and it was a great experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The venue itself is really beautiful, with modern and stylish decor that creates a vibrant atmosphere and makes one really get involved with ongoing activities.

The event I attended was well organized, everything was evenly coordinated. I would like to attend more such events at this venue.

Megan from the Arcadian quickly replied and we had a call set up with her within the day. Cut to, the day of our wedding: Everything went impeccably well. The food was amazing, the venue was beautiful and the staff were superb. Daniel was our coordinator on the day and he was on the ball. Would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you!!

Such a beautiful museum! Great for photos, events and even a day out. There are picnic tables so you can bring a packed lunch and enjoy with your family. We enjoyed also learning about the estate. It is well maintained and clean

Christmas tea service was amazing! The estate was beautifully decorated and created such a festive environment. The tea and food were absolutely delicious! My family and I are already discussing visiting again next year. Also - the staff members provided top quality customer service! Highly recommend visiting.

Had a lovely time here for Tea on the Lawn! They served up some delicious tea, chosen from many tempting flavours. Also had finger sandwiches, scones, Devon fresh cream and jam, also other delectable chocolate desserts. Just delicious! Great service and overall a very enjoyable guest experience 😃. Highly recommend for a sophisticated experience.

Beautiful little museum / house near Billings Bridge. The community of Billings Bridge has been named after the occupants of this house. Bradish Billings and family were instrumental in shaping their community.

I recently had tea at the estate. I was very disappointed. It would help if the hostess was appropriate dressed and could give a welcome and a little bit of history honouring the wonderful people that lived there. The tent curtains were ripped, the cups and saucers didn’t match and the food was not fresh and tasty. I will not bring guests again.

Camilla helped find the best rate for flight/hotel accommodations for me and my guests for my destination wedding in Maui 2024. She is very responsive and she will also respond late evening! Her updates are very frequent, clear, and transparent. Unfortunately due to the fires in Maui 2023, I had to relocate my hotel and Camilla was very quick to help find options in a short period of time. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a travel agent.

This review is way overdue, but Camilla was amazing to work with! She made our destination wedding happen and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. She made the process for us simple and straightforward and answered all of our questions. We couldn’t have done this without her coordination of our wedding party with the flights from multiple airports, travel to and from destination, and seamless communication with the resort. Definitely going to her again for our next group trip or cruise!

I cannot recommend Camilla enough for any travel needs, especially for destination weddings. She was absolutely amazing in handling all the bookings for our wedding guests. Each family had different requirements and there were numerous changes, but she managed everything flawlessly. Her knowledge and expertise were evident every step of the way. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was tailored to each guest’s needs, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. We’ve also used her for family vacations, and her service is consistently excellent. She truly makes every travel experience better!

Finally after 6-7 flight cancellations and several venue changes due to current situations (Covid 19) ..we had our dream wedding and it was far better than we could have ever imagined!! Thank you to Camilla at Go Travel Vacations!!! Excellent costumer service. She was on the phone constantly with air lines and resorts, She went above and beyond to make sure we get our dream wedding, she was always a phone call away, arranged every details of our trip and our wedding. She found the most magical place for us to get married at Sandals Royal Caribbean! We could not have had our dream wedding without her. Thank you Camilla!! We are so very grateful. It was nothing short of a perfect day! The venue, food, decor and service was top notch. So grateful for all the memories created that day, that we will cherish for a lifetime

I had very high hopes for this venue!!

I received a prompt responses to my initial inquiry and subsequent emails requesting information and confirmation of date availability for planning a 50th wedding anniversary celebration for our parents. Everything was great through to visiting the venue and meeting with Paula and her team. When I was leaving I asked the next steps to pay the deposit and secure the date. I was told to email once I confirmed with my family that we were good to go. I emailed confirmation later that evening (June 8).

It's now July 2, and after multiple emails and phone messages, I have not heard a word back from Paula. Nothing.

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement as everything about Four Sisters Farm checked all our boxes for what we were wanting for this special day.

Is it a beautiful space, yes!
Is it reasonably priced compared to other similar venues, yes!
Is the communication from the venue owner good, absolutely not!!! When planning any event no matter the size, good communication with potential and paying customers is KEY!!!

Beautiful venue! I attended a wedding here and everything was stunning—the garden, the trees and fountain created such a charming atmosphere. The service was excellent and very professional, and I loved the elegant linens and décor. I’ve been to many weddings, but this one truly felt special.

There are truly no words to describe how incredible this venue is. We had our wedding here and Riley made every single one of my visions come to life. She was attentive, kind and one of the best in the business. I truly could go on for this entire post of how amazing not only this venue is, but the staff, the aesthetic and the vibe. Riley thank you for everything you did to make our night so special and being the ABSOLUTE best.

The venue was absolutely stunning, and every detail of our wedding day was executed flawlessly by the incredible staff. Many of our guests commented afterward that they had never seen such impeccable coordination and attention to detail at a wedding venue.

Riley guided us through the entire planning process, answering all our questions promptly and making everything feel seamless. On the big day, Liane was there to assist, and she was nothing short of amazing—kind, helpful, and always ready to lend a hand.

Even with on-and-off rain throughout the day, the staff pivoted effortlessly, making adjustments with speed and grace to ensure everything stayed on track. Their professionalism and kindness truly made our wedding day unforgettable.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Graydon Hall in early September, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From our first meeting with Riley to the final moments of our big day, everything was seamless and memorable.

The food was exceptional, and the venue offers countless stunning spots for wedding photos—both indoors and outdoors. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, always eager to help make the day as special as possible.

On Oct 19 2024, our daughter and her fiancee celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Graydon Hall Manor.

It was a morning wedding, so my husband and I arrived at the facility at 8 AM. Since minute one, we experienced a delightful service.

One of the team members spoke to us in Spanish, our native language, and offered us a cup of coffee.

Later on, Sara, from Malaga Spain, very warmly took care of my family members and me in Spanish. Sara tirelessly kept checking on us with a smile during the event.

The team member at the expresso bar did a great job as well.

The event manager also warmly approached my husband and myself to get our feedback on the service.

The facilities at the Graydon Hall Manor are beautiful and very well maintained. The small chapel is lovely and has a good amount of chairs.
We had the liberty of walking around to take nice pictures in the gardens.
The parking is free and has plenty of space.

All in all, it was a great experience and we absolutely recommend the Graydon Hall Manor!

A few things to know if you're hosting an event here:
The venue is run by the city and they have agreements in place with a rowing club to use the facilities. You will have people in and out using the bathrooms as if they are open to public despite your having paid for the space. You can call the city office to dispute this but you will have to fight for exclusive use of the space.

There is a lot of junk hanging around the downstairs rooms. Chalkboards, drum sets, broken chairs. It will not be moved.

After 11pm, a security guard is stationed inside the venue. This is disconcerting because guests automatically assume that there is an issue. However, it is nice to have someone watching the door and you do not have to wait for someone to arrive when you're ready to leave.

If you are rentjing for more than a few hours, you will have to call the city each time you want to arrive or depart the venue. They do not give you a key. You can only access as of 9h00 - basically the same hours as Maison du Brasserie museum.

The fridge is residential not commercial. Same for the stove. You will have to turn on the bar fridges upstairs when you arrive so that they chill before your event, otherwise prepare for warm drinks.

The views and access to the canal boardwalk are amazing. The stone walls make for beautiful photo backdrops and the 2nd floor terrace is a great feature.

Lovely lake shore view. Clean, airy and has a nice secure balcony. Great venue for medium or small conferences

Went to a wedding here in September and the place was spectacular. The old vintage look the building has updated by modern decor inside made the place very cozy and enjoyable . Not sure if the staff is always the same however if so they were on point and very welcoming . I would highly recommend this place for someone looking for a wedding or just to rent out for corporate occasions etc .

Historic building by the water. Great for intimate wedding/gatherings. Small kitchen for caterers. The parking lot is public and can not be reserved for private functions.

We recently had a wedding at Lago and it was everything we wanted and more!

From the very beginning Gyneya and her staff were amazing. They are very detail oriented and do everything in their power to take all the stress off of you and onto them. Your wedding is their priority and they want your vision to come to life. Their pricing is very fair and transparent.

We were in the Vista room (upstairs) with around 80 guests and it was the perfect size. The dance floor was able to be open all night and no tables needed to be moved after dinner.

The food is phenomenal! Many of our guests made specific points to us on how great the food was. And as a bonus the portion sizes are large too!

I used to work for a catering company as a server for weddings and have been to many venues. I can say this is the best venue I've ever been to and cannot recommend it enough!

The cheesecake is also out of this world!! We had a handful of guests make the point to let us know it was the best cheesecake they ever had.

If you're still reading this, stop! And book your date already before it's booked up.

We held our wedding reception at Lago this past spring, and it was exactly what we had prayed for. The space was inviting and well-organized, with a sensible layout that worked well for our guests. We especially appreciated its interior industrial design and beautiful views of Dow’s Lake.

Planning with Gyneya and her team — including Kayly, Kim, and others — made all the difference. They were welcoming, efficient, and generous. Even during our reception, Lago’s staff members were incredibly kind, considerate, and accommodating, all of which contributed to a smooth and enjoyable evening.

The food was excellent — fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully plated. Our guests' favorite dishes included the fried halloumi cheese skewer hors d'oeuvres, the heirloom tomato salad appetizer, and the braised beef short rib entrée. Gyneya and her team were very flexible with our dietary requests. Service throughout the night was attentive and well-paced.

We're so pleased to have chosen Lago for our wedding reception and would confidently recommend it to any engaged couple looking for a great planning experience and a memorable wedding celebration!

My Daughter got married there last night and it was perfect. The venue was just the right size for the event, we had the service first and while the family left for pictures, the staff set up for appetizers and dinner. Appetizers were a selection of deep fried cheese sticks and spring rolls etc. they were all done perfectly and sauces were delicious. Dinner did not disappoint either, there was a choice of salmon, strip loin steak or risotto. They again were perfect. Crème Brûlée was the finishing touch and was spot on. The staff and the facility was so polite and polished I couldn’t say enough about them. Gyneya coordinated a fabulous evening. As for the room itself, the lighting was beautiful and a perfect backdrop was a warm evening on Dow’s lake. I hope this doesn’t come across as AI because it was real and for our Daughter and Son-in-Law it was perfect. Thank you.

Amazing wedding venue! Staff were amazing all night :) Food was delicious. It’s nice that it’s on the water so you can hangout outside if you want as well.

My husband and I got married here last month. This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. You get a whole wedding package, amazing food choices, and the staff goes through the whole planning process and schedule with you. You bring your own decorations but they set everything up for you. It’s also so affordable compared to other venues. They made the whole experience easy.

Many stores, parks, plenty of parking and lots to do. Markets on weekends great times and vibes for all ages

Just walked down the canal to the park and shops. Scenic walk and rich history area.

Lots of fun at Landsdowne park. Hubby and I have gone to the cinema and enjoyed the restaurants and bars. There is a delightful farmers market that you have to check out. We have attended activities in the horticulture building and salsa danced in the plaza. Great place and be sure to check out all the activities.

I love coming here in the winter with my children to skate on the outdoor rink and toboggan on the hill next to TD Place.

This park space is great, as you can skate most of the winter thanks to the refrigerated rink, and play basketball in the warmer months when the rink is converted into a basketball court. As for the hill and field, what is a perfect spot for tobogganing in the winter becomes an ideal area for everything from hosting music festivals to offering great green space to play in.

Lansdowne Park has really been revamped over the years. There are several pedestrian paths and some paid parking off to the side. There is a nice event space in Aberdeen Pavilion as well as some restaurants and Cineplex. The aesthetics are there but could use more varied or local shops in the franchise mix.

We recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Mont Blanc Reception Hall, and it genuinely felt like a hidden treasure! From the moment we stepped inside, the warm atmosphere and distinctive charm of the venue drew me in. If you’re on the hunt for a place that combines both character and sophistication, Mont Blanc Reception Hall is an excellent choice! We are really looking forward to returning to capture more beautiful memories in this delightful space!

Food was good, first floor salon was very small and extremely hot, Parking a bit away (end of the street). service not five star asI was drinking my wine and sudenly the guy came and pick my glass cuz he wanted to empty the table. Samething happened to my appetizer dish.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding at Liberty Grand in the Centennial Room this past June and we have nothing but great things to say.

From planning to event execution, everything was perfect. Eleni assisted us with coordination and was always quick to respond if we had any questions.

Our guests really enjoyed the food and service from the staff. We had both bars opened during our wedding with no drink lines which was amazing. Thank you so much to everyone at Liberty Grand that made our day perfect :)

This is a beautiful and elegant venue. It's perfect for a special event or celebration. The food was delicious, fresh, and served in just the right portions. I especially appreciated the late night snack table with ice cream and burgers, which was a fun and thoughtful touch.

The staff were very good. They were professional and attentive throughout the event. Our parking was covered by the bride and groom, but otherwise, it is paid parking, so that’s something to be aware of.

There were a few downsides worth mentioning. The bar is located outside of the hall, which led to many guests gathering around it and lingering outside rather than enjoying the event inside. Accessibility is another concern. There's only one accessible washroom on the main floor, located outside the hall, while the rest are down a flight of stairs. Another con is that the bridal suite is also located downstairs. It’s a small room with just a closet and isn’t the most comfortable or convenient space for a bride to get ready or relax.

Overall, it’s a lovely venue with great food and service, but a few layout and accessibility issues should be considered.

I attended a wedding here recently. The service is efficient and the staff are friendly. The outdoor courtyard for the ceremony is gorgeous.

The food was delicious but the fish option could have offered more in terms of sides (very small portion of vegetables).

As for the bar, it was nice but it would have been better to have more of the basics offered like sparkling wine, fresh lime juice, and they ran out of lime wedges etc.!

Overall a great spot!

We are beyond happy and grateful that we decided to book our wedding reception at Liberty Grand. Everyone we met and worked with, were incredibly helpful and kind. They made our dream wedding come true. From answering our many questions when we first booked the venue, to the well coordinated food tasting, to their ability to organize everything just how we wanted, they have been a pleasure to work with. Olga, was so approachable and understanding and Eleni, was quick to respond and organize. We were extremely happy with the food and received many compliments from our guests. The sound and lighting was excellent. 10/10 would recommend booking Liberty Grand for your wedding.

I found this area to be equally stunning but less crowded than High Park to view the cherry blossoms. I didn't go inside.

This was a very nice museum, but definitely overshadowed by Heritage Park.
The staff were very friendly, and the house itself was well cared for.
There was a great number of historic artifacts in the museum, and the front terraced lawn is very beautiful.

We liked this place, especially interiors, which is so beautiful with antique furniture telling the stories of how people were living back then there is also a history of the Logheed family. I was really inspired by her wife personality. Great venue for small event or date night.

I love this museum. I really have a good time knowing about the history of Alberta. I went there during Christmas, however the staff said depending of the season they change the decoration. The museum has a small vintage shop where you can get some sourvenirs

I did my baby shower in Luluthia Party Room and everything was great from start to finish! It was easy to communicate with Effie, and she did most of the organizing so I had nothing to worry about. I just sent her some inspiration of what I want and I told her my expectations, and she did everything I expected and even went beyond! The decor was BEAUTIFUL, the service was excellent and the organizing was all done well. I brought my own food and she took care of all the presentation, setting up the table, the decor, and she had one staff available throughout the entire event. I highly recommend this venue for small events, I will definitely go back for more events of mine!

We had Wedding/Reception at Magnolia Banquet Hall! It was a full crowd that was amazed all night long with the design, the service, the food, and special attention to detail that was given. Magnolia Banquet Hall ownership, management and staff are nothing short of amazing! Their service is above and beyond what is expected. Even though our party was as organized as can be, it would not have been the same if we had chosen any other location. Magnolia Banquet Hall helped make our wedding the best event so far! We will definitely be referring all of our friends and family and be returning for all of our future events!

We recently had our daughter’s wedding at the Magnolia Banquet Hall. Just wanted to say that everything from start to finish was first class. We asked Jimmy (Manager/Event Co-ordinator) to do “family style” meal – this is where all the food is served on each table. As we wanted an Indian catering menu, mixed with some Arab style food, this was not an easy request – especially with 350 guests!

We had a few meetings with Jimmy before the event and he took care of everything from the timing, catering and to coordinating with the decorators. Our decorators had great cooperation from Jimmy and his team, and when we arrived at the hall before the wedding started, everything looked amazing. We also liaised with the DJ – who was great to work with and was very experienced.

The food turned out even better than it was at the food tasting. So many of our guests complimented us on how great the food was, and how much they loved the hot appetizer station during the cocktail hour (see photos.) The kitchen timed everything exactly to our agenda and as soon as the speeches were complete, the food was being served on the tables.

This was the first time that Jimmy had done “family style” service and it was truly amazing and beyond our expectations. The food arrived hot at each table and it looked like there was 1 server for every 2 tables. The food arrived promptly, and our guests were very impressed with this service. (It sure beats lining up at a buffet station, especially for 350 people.) All of our guests were impressed, and we were extremely happy that we used the Magnolia Hall for our daughters wedding. I would recommend them in a heart beat. Thank you to Jimmy and his amazing team.
