We’re both based abroad and couldn’t plan a traditional wedding, so Pop-Up Chapel was honestly the perfect option for us. The whole process was incredibly smooth and stress free. We had one point of contact who handled everything, which made such a difference. All we had to do was show up with our outfits, rings, marriage licence, and our guests. That’s it. Everything else was beautifully taken care of. It was small, simple, and exactly what we needed. On top of that, it was very affordable for everything that was included. We had the best time and are so glad we chose Pop-Up Chapel. My sister also had her wedding with them, so we’ve seen firsthand how consistently great they are. Really highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy, meaningful, and well organized celebration.

The experience was seamless! Everyone we spoke to throughout the process was super accommodating and kind! We really wanted to go with a stress-free ceremony option and this was not only affordable, but everything is sorted for you! All we had to do was show up and not worry about any of the small details. My husband and I fell in love with the venue (Globe and Mail Centre) and without Pop-up chapel there would have been no way for us to have our ceremony there. We did end up having a dinner and a reception later in the day after our ceremony, so this was still an amazing option even if you are planning a big celebration after the ceremony.

My husband and I are so happy with our experience with the Pop-Up Chapel Co. They were incredibly easy to work with and made the entire experience a breeze - once we provided a few of our preferences we truly just had to show up. All of the vendors that supported on the day-of were amazing, too!

We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a low-stress way to celebrate their wedding.

We had a full Weekend wedding at the Ridge.and booked all the rooms, villa and the airstream.
From the moment we went to view this venue through to post event, Randy amd his staff have been amazing.
The accommodations are top notch. I’ve never had a kitchen so well stocked for cooking and living as the Villa offers.
We had a full day prior to the wedding to begin our decorating and event set up. Held a BBQ the night for 30
People and then had the best wedding g we could have asked for.
The food here is beyond excellent and the everyone made sure all the guests special needs were accommodated.
We cleaned up the next day with Randy and the staff being very helpful.

I highly recommend this venue as a getaway destination wedding venue within Canada. It’s well priced for the level of service and quality of food and accommodations.

We had been wanting to try a pop-up dinner here for a while, finally made it! Service, food, location and the setting up on the hill was fabulous. We opted for the three course and it was more than enough. Xavier the chef chatted with us for a few mins before we headed out. This is stretching the boundaries of my entertainment budget, but this is truly a high-end meal experience. I hope we can come back one day!

Such a pretty venue with staff that makes you feel like you’re one of the family. Randy and his staff hosted our wedding mid June and surprisingly what was supposed to be an outdoor wedding had to change when wind and torrential rain were in mother natures plans! They offered other options and seamlessly made the new plan happen and we had a lovely day regardless. We’ve enjoyed both a pop-up dinner as well as our own rehearsal and wedding meals provided by Xavier and his team and everyone is still saying it’s the best wedding food they have had and that no one could finish their generously sized meal but somehow wished there were seconds! Everything was perfectly orchestrated, with friendly helpful lovely people running a gem of a venue who could ask for more! We recently went to a pop up dinner which I was very excited for!
The location is so beautiful and we were out in a big tent which was lovely.
After a few drinks we were ready to eat. Our first course came 1 1/2 hours after we got there which is a long time.
There was probably half an hour between it and our main meal which is fine.
The food however was the most delicious I have ever had!
The attention to detail and flavour was second to none!
Our server Larry was great and it was nice to talk to Randy the owner just before we left.
Perhaps the wait is "normal" but some complimentary bread sticks or after dinner liqueur would've made this a 5 star experience! 😊

The evening was lovely, the ambience in the room was wonderful, and the service excellent! My favorite dishes were the squash and chestnut soup as well as the Bloody Mary shrimp. The bison was very good, but the monkfish was a bit chewy and fishy for my taste. A wonderful way to spend a New Year’s Eve.

Dario, was fantastic. The place was great for the large event event of 34 people. Karaoke was huge hit. TV in two rooms were used for bday slide shows. Bluetooth speakers are great quality and there are two. Pool, ping pong, racing sim, Pac-Man, just great. Lots of fun and tons of room. Thank you to the staff. Great work.

I recently held a seminar event at The Spot and had a fantastic experience. The venue is very nice, exuding a professional and clean atmosphere that immediately made me feel comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the overall organization of the seminar.

We threw a party there for my husband’s birthday and had a great time! It was like having a bar to ourselves where we could shoot pool, play fuseball, shoot some hoops (my favorite) & have our own dance party. Everyone had such a great time and thought it was a great idea! Best part, no after party clean up like we would have had to do if we hosted at our house.

In a super random location, there is not much parking and it’s in the upstairs of the sex and weed shop next door.

Went there for a party rental and the games are a nice touch but the inside is super dated and very hot in the summer. They have AC but it’s not very strong on a hot day with a lot of people inside. There is a full kitchen and a room with pool tables but everything inside is a bit run down. If your doing a low key kids party or teenager party it might be a good option. Anything for adults I wouldn’t recommend.

Attended my neices birthday party here. The place was very spacious and clean. Lots of games and entertainment for birthday parties and game nights. Highly recommend for anyone looking to do their kids birthday or want a spot for poker night or pool and ping pong. Thank you so much to the owner and staff who made this possible.

From the first time meeting Katherine, I felt very comfortable with her and calm regards to planning my wedding. As someone who gets overwhelmed easily, she made sure I was satisfied and happy with the planning and the chapel itself. She always followed up with me and my husband to see if everything’s okay prior to our wedding date, if we had any questions or concerns she was able to assist us.

Our wedding was amazing, from the ceremony, the decorations at the chapel, food, staff and reception. Till this day my wedding guests are saying wow it was such a lovely wedding, they loved how Katherine was welcoming towards everyone and she made sure everything was okay. The wedding photos and video looked amazing as well.

From what I have heard and experienced from other weddings, I cannot believe that in my wedding at the Toronto Wedding Chapel I did not have to worry absolutely nothing, about anything!! I was in shock because usually the bride is stress (I am perfectionist), but no, it was only happiness. The event was so beautiful, the staff, the pictures, the food, the Champagne, the place, EVERYTHING was so perfect (I want to get married again with my husband haha). We had a wonderful time!! Union Eleven was great to work with right from the very start. Although there is no shortage of talented wedding photographers in Ottawa, what set them apart during our ‘search’ was their responsiveness to our questions and willingness to work with our not-so-ordinary schedule on our wedding day. The lead up to the wedding is a stressful time, but Union Eleven was asking all of the right questions about times, locations and people to ensure that they would be well prepared to capture our special day.

Derrick and Jessica are both super down to earth, and it was easy to get comfortable in front of the camera with them. Sometimes it’s hard to seem natural when you know you’re being photographed, but I can’t say enough about how easy it was to work with them.

The turnaround time to receive our photos was much faster than we anticipated, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!

We were married in early October 2020 in Ottawa and with upholding public health guidelines we wanted to balance having our close family and friends present for the ceremony- this is where Union Eleven came in with their live streaming services.
We were able to have both a small in-person ceremony and have an opportunity for our family and friends across the country to share in our special day. Union Eleven was able to live-stream using different vantage points and ensuring that our microphones were active/muted at appropriate times.
Andrew arrived early to the venue to allow for plenty of time for set up. I was glad to hear that I wouldn't need to wear a microphone with my dress and my husband's microphone would pick up normal talking volume with no issues.
I was extremely happy with the streamed content, and I have been able to download it as an amazing memento to watch again. I would definitely recommend this live streaming service to anyone planning their special day!

Andrew Geddes of Union Eleven photographers made our wedding so memorable with the wedding photos that he took! They are absolutely amazing and phenomenal, and words won’t even give justice to how beautiful they turned out. It was the same case for our engagement shoot - Andrew helped us pick the venue, and took care of the shoot. I cannot say enough about Amy and the staff at Aisle Travel. My husband was able to join last minute and they worked their butts off and made magic happen to add him in! We went with a large group for a friends wedding in November and they were amazing at constant communication, emails, replies and keeping the guests organized throughout the year leading up to the vacation. We started our journey with Aisle Travel in January 2022, and just recently returned from our destination wedding in Playa del Carmen. The resort Aisle Travel helped us choose was incredible and met all of our wants/needs for our wedding day and our guests. Amira and her team went above and beyond for us and our wedding group. If I could give 10/5 stars, I WOULD! I have been working with Amira and her team since early 2021, planning our destination wedding for February 2022. They were fantastic to work with and the entire experience took a ton of stress off us and our party. They were quick to secure us an gorgeous resort for an unbeatable price. Unfortunately, we made the tough decision to cancel our destination wedding after final payment and the airline was not willing to refund any of the guests, which was going to result in everyone being out thousands of dollars... Amira went to bat for us and was able to get our entire party fully refunded! I can't express my gratitude in words for Amira and her team. Although we were not able to have our destination wedding, we are now able to relax, with a huge weight off our shoulders knowing that none of our guests are out of pocket. If you are looking for a travel agency that fully has your best interests in mind, Aisle Travel is what you are looking for!!!

Alex is an absolutely incredible photographer and videographer!! 📸 We had our engagement shoot (which was included in the price) and our wedding done by him and his team. We are SO SO happy with the results. Alex is so good at listening to exactly what you want and takes his time to help you pose and get the perfect shot. His prices are VERY reasonable compared to other photographers and the quality is just as good if not even better! If you are looking for a photographer for any event I HIGHLY recommend Alex, you will not regret it! Thank you Alex again for the amazing experience!

We had the pleasure of having Alex shoot our Engagement shoot & our Wedding day. In both cases, he and his team were amazing! Alex really made us comfortable, so even if you think you do not know how to pose or whatever the case may be, he will make you comfortable. Our favorite types of photos were candids and they really delivered amazing photos. We really surprised ourselves by absolutely loving the "posed" photos just as much. We love our wedding photos and we are sure that our wedding video will be just as good! Compared to the prices of other photographs & videographs, we are relaly happy with what we paid. We were not guests of the hotel but headed out for brunch earlier today. We are looking at Azure ridge as a potential wedding venue. Everyone we interacted with was absolutely lovely. The food, spectacular. I would be remiss if I did not mention the exceptional hospitality and warm welcome that we received from our server Brenda. In keeping with the stone theme of the hotel, she is an absolute diamond.

We attended a wedding at Azuridge Boutique Hotel and it was such a romantic space. Everything about the venue was absolutely beautiful—the architecture, the grounds, and all the little details. The staff were amazing and so attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Even though the weather was gloomy, the beauty of the venue and all the thoughtful touches made it easy to look past the rain. Truly a stunning place for a special occasion.

We celebrated our wedding at this gorgeous venue last week! The venue was absolutely stunning and well-maintained, the service was amazing, timely, and top-notch, and the rooms were super gorgeous and clean. Julie is a wonderful wedding coordinator who was always respectful of our wishes and worked diligently to ensure that our weekend went perfectly. The concierge workers were amazing at helping us and making sure our day went seamlessly. I highly recommend visiting this gem hidden away in Priddis, and definitely having your wedding here!

This place is truly a hidden gem! My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting in early April for an overnight stay, and it was absolutely wonderful. From the luxurious suite to the delectable food and the stunning hotel grounds, it was the perfect short getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A special shout-out to our exceptional server in the dining room during dinner—Adriana? and the tall bartender (apologies, I may be off on the name)—both provided outstanding service. They made us feel incredibly welcome and were attentive to all our questions, ensuring we had a memorable experience.

My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary and had the pleasure of staying for one night in the Pearl room. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff, the food and the grounds of this property were incredible and we will definitely stay again!

Bellamy Loft gave my husband and I a wedding better than either of us could have ever imagined. Not living in Toronto, I was uncertain how we would ever find vendors and a venue for our dream wedding. Bellamy Loft took all the worry away.
The venue; small but absolutely beautiful. As a few guests said to us, "don't let the outside fool you!"
The workers and coordinators, all wonderful, from Bianca always responding in a timely manner to any and all questions by email, to Novia and Lydia helping with planning and the final set up. Everyone was a pleasure to work with.
Their partner vendors are also all terrific! They selected them all for us, and while we were nervous a little, after the night we had, we would not change a thing! The photographer was lovely and we are excited to see all of the beautiful shots! The photobooth is a must! We have still been receiving raving reviews about the food and how lovely of a bartender Matthew was. And no one can stop talking about Chris, the DJ and how he brought the party and the party never stopped!

Bellamy Loft took care of everything at an extremely reasonable price. Our officiant was attentive and charismatic. Our photographer had attention to detail. The venue was perfect. The focus was on us as a couple and we didn't have to stress about a thing! Would highly recommend to couples looking for an intimate ceremony. Thank you for everything.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Cathy from creative weddings planning and design was. We hired her for our wedding and she created the exact vision I had for our wedding. She was always available and flexible and took care of everything-not to mention so professional when unexpected circumstances occurred! My husband and I were so grateful for everything. She took care of all the things I had no idea how to even start. She put her heart and soul into everything and created the most beautiful wedding we could have asked for. Cathy had wonderful suggestions and worked within my budget and when I changed my mind she just rolled with it! When I was planning my wedding, I met Muriel who is in charge of florals through my decorator, who is absolutely amazing (Celebration Creation, Carolyn). Muriel was the kindest and most patient florist I had met. Immediately I knew I wanted her to make my dream wedding come true. Throughout the whole planning process, no matter how many times I changed my mind, Muriel was patient and gave good advice and was just such a joy to be able to work with. She was amazing and when the day finally came, she made my dream wedding come true with the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. We still get complimented on the floral carpet she and her team made, I couldnt have imagined a better person to be dealing with than Muriel, and my decorator, Carolyn of Celebration Creation. Thank you guys so much for making my dream wedding come true.

My wife and I got married at the Cumberland Belle in May this year (2025). We knew it was going to be our venue as soon as we met Manal for the tour last year. The outdoor area was perfect for the small, nature-surrounded wedding we wanted. And the inside of the old church was beautiful and just the right amount of space. Overall, it was exactly the right place to host our most special day.

The venue was absolutely beautiful and had such a great vibe. The staff were super helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. They really took care of us and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. Would definitely recommend!

Exactly what we were looking for! The venue is gorgeous and was perfect for our wedding of ~70 people. We wanted somewhere we could take advantage of the beautiful fall foliage and also where we could bring our own catering, bar, etc. As soon as we saw the Belle we knew it was perfect! Even though it rained and we didn’t end up using the outdoor ceremony space, we couldn’t be happier with how the day went. Manal and Michael were super easy to deal with during the planning and set up process. Highly recommend!

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! This was an outstanding venue for my friend’s bridal shower. it has beautiful lighting and was perfectly spacious for the amount of guests that were hosted. Definitely a place I would recommend for intimate gatherings and celebrations!

I am beyond happy with the Cumberland Belle. Gorgeous venue with stain glass windows. The owners were more than happy to answer any of my questions which make booking as smooth as possible.
When I booked, the venue included chairs, tables, audio equipment, outdoor seating, and a wooden arch for an outdoor ceremony.

The venue had a separate entrance for the catering crew as well as a kitchen with a fridge which can in handy for storing the reception snacks and keeping drinks chilled.

Lastly, being able to ring the church bell after getting married was the highly of our wedding!

I will never get over how beautiful our wedding turned out! We had a huge storm coming around the time of the ceremony and Janice and staff were so helpful in helping us beat it so we could have the ceremony outside. The food and drinks were the best I had ever had at a wedding (I've been dreaming of the mushroom bisque) and we had gotten so many compliments on it throughout the night. Staff was so accommodating and incredible in navigating our huge families and communication through the planning process was spectacular! We would have our wedding here again in a heartbeat. We had our wedding at Evermore Weddings & Events, and it was truly perfect from start to finish. The venue is absolutely breathtaking, inside and out. The gardens and outdoor spaces are meticulously maintained and were in full bloom on our day, creating the most romantic and natural backdrop for our ceremony and photos. The flowers, the stone pathways, and views all felt like something out of a dream.

The food was incredible. It was fresh, beautifully prepared, and served flawlessly. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it! And the service was exceptional: attentive, professional, and kind.

Best wedding venue in the Calgary/Airdrie area!!

I have always had my heart set on getting married here ever since my friend chose this venue for her wedding in 2019. I was a bridesmaid in that wedding and after that night, I knew Gathered would be at the top of my list when it was my turn to get married.

My sister also got married here a year before I did, which proves how special and sought after this venue is.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Alysa, Elaine, Ashley and her team. It went exactly how we envisioned it and our guests had such an amazing time. They raved about the food, the beauty of the venue, and the friendly hard-working staff.

Gathered offers an “all inclusive” type package of sorts which includes elements that take the pressure and stress off the bride and groom with wedding planning. This venue works well with all sorts of themes and aesthetics. The natural beauty of the space offers such a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony and reception.

It’s a bonus that this venue is close by to Airdrie and North Calgary. There’s several hotels to choose from in Airdrie to host your guests, and there’s also a campground nearby.

The food is absolutely amazing. Elaine puts so much care and love into what she serves you and your guests. Everything we had at our wedding was outstanding.

I cannot recommend this venue enough. The Gathered and Fiore team are great to work with and they make sure everything is taken care of on your big day. You won’t regret booking them!

I would give this venue 100 stars if I could. I got married here in September and every time I see a guest of our wedding they cannot stop gushing about the beautiful venue, the exquisite food, and the warm, wonderful service. We got married at the Gathered in September 2023 and I simply cannot say enough good things about this place. First and most obvious, the entire property is absolutely beautiful. From the farm fields and flower gardens, to the sunflowers and tall trees, and of course the stunning and romantic reception tent and bridal cottage, the Gathered is a wedding venue like no other. Secondly, the team behind the Gathered is an absolute dream. As a family-run business, you can feel the heart and passion behind what they do. It's not about making money for them, they're truly passionate about making your wedding dreams come true. I don't even know where to start with Alysa and Elaine. From start to finish, they were an absolute dream team to work with. Always on top of things, with regular emails, information packets, and check-in meetings. Alysa is incredibly organized, efficient, professional, and knowledgable. Answering my endless type A emails (sometimes multiple a day), ensuring everything is in place so wedding day goes off without a hitch. And Elaine's food. OH MY GOD. To die for. That is the #1 comment we got on our wedding: that it was the best wedding food our guests had ever had. You can taste the passion in her cooking. I could go on forever, because getting married at the Gathered and working with Alysa and Elaine was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish forever. What a great place for a wedding venue. My son and now daughter-in-law were in great hands. Elaine, Ashly and the entire staff was friendly, professional and always helpful. Fun beautiful place for a wedding, the lighting can be quite low at all times of day so I would highly recommend looking into photographers with off camera flash experience. The whole park is beautiful and lovely for weddings!

Located at the back corner of the park, Gunn's Dairy Barn has a delicious assortment of food. Beef or Chicken burger, hotdogs all nice. Go on a rainy day and it'll be pretty empty. Only complaint was pretzel bun on burger was a tad cold. Definitely coming back.

A very solid venue that's quite flexible with special requests for events. Not much space though and style is country only.

Staff were enthusiastic and very helpful. The brunch was good and fresh food was rotated in quite often.

The food was amazing - the buffet was filling, we didn't eat anything until the next day.

Rio Banquet- All is can say after our successful event for our sons first birthday is EXCEPTIONAL. From smooth/brilliant planning, event timing, ambiance of the venue & decoration, extraordinary menu plus tasty food, and a great service. Sunny (Manager) has been kind and really helpful in assisting us in every point of event. His suggestions, assistance and presence throughout the event has been greatly appreciated because it gave us peace of mind while enjoying our party. The staff especially Pam has been a great help as she was around the whole time to assist us when we needed help. Best experience ever, we had our daughters first Sri Lankan Saree Ceremony here and everything went so smoothly every single person who attended had a wonderful time and they were very impressed with all the set up as well as the food was very delicious and special thanks to Sunny and his team for making this a memorable experience for us we really appreciate Thank You!

We held multiple events here and our guests were very impressed with the hall's decor and cleanliness. Working with Sunny ensured our vision was accurately portrayed on our special day. Whole no event can be 100% perfect, the team helped make sure it was 99% there. We would highly recommend Rio for any and all events in the future and the food was just as exquisite!!

Just had my wedding at the Westbury ballroom and honestly the entire day was perfect! The venue is gorgeous and includes a beautiful terrace that they open if the weather permits (we got lucky to have good enough weather in May)! Beautiful place , we had attended my friend wedding, the parking is very small. We had to park like 5-7mins away so cautious . It wouldn't matter usually but it was raining that evening. Otherwise ,it would be a place we would attend again .

Oh my! The second we stepped foot onto the property we knew this was our venue. We meet Steve the owner upon arrival of the tour and we booked just over a year and a half to our wedding date.
We had the best experience with everyone we came accross leading right up to the morning after the wedding. We had the best day I could ever dream of. Our family and friends did not have one bad thing to say.
We were so happy with the experience we had, during the wedding our bus did not make the trip back to the hotel and Steve and day of coordinator reassured us there is time we can wait for the group to come in cabs. They suggested another plan but people were already in cabs!
During dinner was amazing ran so smoothly, and food was amazing. All the allergies we had not one problem. I checked in with the ladies who had allergies they said it was amazing.
I could not say one bad thing about the place. Yes the price is a shock at first my dad was like are you sure. But once he saw the place and walked around he understood the price of the wedding. But honestly if you want a small wedding and want a place that may not care go for it. If you want a place that feels like home, rustic but classy, this is your venue😊

Stonefields was absolutely our dream wedding venue. We had seen so many venues before finally finding Stonefields and we were immediately taken by its beauty. But what really won us over was their incredible team. Chef Angela was extremely accommodating to our requests and the steak blew us away! The servers were so sweet to all our guests and even joined us in singing “lean on me” at the end of the night which was so special. The biggest shoutout though has to go to Steve! Everything he did was above and beyond from the first day we met till the day of the wedding. He really does wear multiple hats and is extremely confident and competent in the way he makes sure the day goes perfectly. From organizing the floor plan exactly as I requested, to helping our MC’s with the set up, to making sure no alcoholic drinks were displayed as we requested, to bringing us a small grazing station as we were taking our private pictures, to coordinating our schedule on the day of and moving some tables at the end of the night to make sure we have a dance floor. He truly removed a mental load from us and took over all the minute planning on the day of. He did all of this with a smile and while being incredibly present to our requests. Thank you all so much for making our day magical! I couldn’t recommend Stonefields more if you want a stress free and gorgeoussss wedding day!

My husband and I got married here early May 2023 and it really was a perfect day. I loved that Stonefields gives you the option of an indoor and outdoor venue in light of Ottawa's tricky weather and both options are just gorgeous. Not a lot of extra decor needed because it was so beautiful to begin with. The grass was green and lush. The staff were responsive and attentive, catering to our needs, quick to respond via email. As the bride I felt so relaxed the day of, the staff making sure I was fed through the day and saving my food when I was busy talking to guests! Our day-of coordinator guided us through every step of the wedding, making sure things were running smoothly and on time. Since we had a dry wedding, the staff were so flexible in removing all alcohol bottles from the bar display. They even let us create our own custom mocktail menu, which was super cute giving each drink a unique name. The food was incredible. We had an awesome bonfire in the evening. We had about 150 people at our wedding and that felt a bit cozy, but it was still really wonderful. A few items of feedback were that some guests didn't get as many hors d'oeuvres when passing them around. Also the coordinator we were chatting with through the planning phase didn't up being our day of coordinator so it took some re-explaining to review the plan of the wedding closer to the date. Ultimately with Stonefields, you're paying for comfort and ease, which is how my husband and I really felt the day of our wedding. It was unforgettable and we thank Stonefields for their wonderful service! Our wedding day really did feel spiritually uplifting and this venue really contributed to that beautiful spirit.

I can only speak about this venue from the perspective of a wedding guest. But let me tell you, the nicest wedding venue I have been to. All aspects and areas of the venue are beautiful, well maintained and well designed.

Tiffany and Melanie truly live up to their vision of a stress-free micro wedding, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose to work with them! From start to finish, they made the entire process incredibly smooth, and on the big day, everything was absolutely perfect.

One of the things we appreciated most was how they had options for every aspect of the wedding to fit different budgets and priorities, while still making everything feel high-quality and seamless. They also provided so many insights and recommendations—things we wouldn’t have even thought to consider—without ever making us feel overwhelmed or pressured. We always felt like we were in control, but with their expert guidance leading us through each step.

The decor and florals exceeded all expectations (even though we barely gave any direction!), and they assembled an amazing team of vendors. The food and cake was incredible (we had a variety of different food restrictions and Melanie was great in making sure everyone had a delicious dinner!), the espresso martinis and drinks were a huge hit, and the DJ kept the dancefloor packed all night. Working with Prito, our photographer, was effortless—his vision and direction made everything feel natural—and Roland, our officiant, made the ceremony heartfelt and inclusive with his Cantonese translations, making it even more meaningful for our families. The photobooth was such a hit and kept the energy going all night—our guests had so much fun taking photos, and we loved seeing everyone get creative with the props! It was the perfect addition to keep the celebration lively and give everyone a fun keepsake from the night.

We had our wedding at TCE in February with around 6 months of planning. It was truly the best day of our lives. We put our trust in Tiffany and Melanie and they did not disappoint. We had several zoom meetings over the months leading up to the day to iron out most of the details. It was not as clear to me from the website but after our first meeting, we realized that they were super flexible on everything and we could customize our perfect day down to any detail. We had input on decor but left most of it go to Tiffany (by our choice) and she completely exceeded our expectation. Melanie coordinated perfectly on the day of, keeping us all on schedule and updating us on the flow of the day and handling any hiccups so we didn’t have to deal with anything. They were able to source amazing food and we got our favourite pastries in as well. All the staff at the venue were amazing and kind, really having fun and genuinely friendly - not just slogging away. It was the perfect day and I would recommend this company to anyone in a heartbeat. They made the intimidating and daunting task of planning a wedding easy and a million times less stressful.

Our wedding at The Ark this past Oct 1st was truly unforgettable. The venue was perfect, exactly what we were looking for; an outdoor venue with reasonable prices, with that perfect autumn feel. Mike was absolutely stellar with the whole process, he really felt like a member of the family with all the help he provided.

Some of the extra add-ons we has were: a fire pit set up with some s'mores, photo opportunities in an antique wagon, a canoe cooler, perfect fall colours, an indoor AND an outdoor setup, and all of our guests raved that it was the best wedding ever! However, the thing that is special about having your wedding at the Ark is the owner, Mike “The Mad Trapper” Caldwell. He will make it, “Your wedding, your way”. Mike is a super laid back and calming presence throughout the entire planning process, making sure your day rolls out the exactly the way you want it. He is great at responding to questions and provides great advice throughout the whole process. Have your wedding at the Ark, you won’t regret it!

Great people, Mike and Monique are so welcoming. Went on an ATV outing, (my first) got to drive and it was a blast. Got to visit the horses and goats too!!

Our family has been making our way to the Ark multiple times a year for about a decade. From our first snowshoe race we knew we wanted to take part in as many Mad Trapper events as possible. Our boys have practically grown up at these events! The laid back atmosphere and beautiful property are always worth the hour and a half drive. Most importantly, Mike and Monique are incredible hosts, always making sure everyone has a great time. We are looking forward to many more trips to the Ark!

I’ve dealt with Mike and Monique several times, be it their own snow shoe events, my own fundraiser (trail hike/run), or corporate events. These folks and this venue are superb! Mike is always willing to accommodate special request and Monique’s brownies (when she caters) are out of this world!
