My friends and I were window shopping on Monday August 11th and were curious as to where the staircase next to Boutique 1861 would lead to. We soon learnt that it lead to Boudoir 1861, the bridal sister shop of Boutique 1861. We arrived close to closing time, but the two female staff were very kind and accomodating. Upon entering my eyes kept wandering to one of the dresses on a mannequin. The staff help in making sure it fit well and suited my needs, which convinced me to make the purchase. Thank you again for the friendly and welcoming customer service! Especially as a younger group it was greatly appreciated.

I had an awesome and personal experience with the boutique’s patient and helpful staffs! A special thanks to Mireille, who lingered and always asked how she can help. She even provided recommendations on how to best wear the dress I ended up choosing. Thank you to Raman as well for packing my dress suitably for travel and for recommending jewelry. We got married at Cork and Crate last month and had the most wonderful experience! From our charcuterie and wine tour, to getting to view two open houses before our wedding, then finally the wedding day, everything was smooth and made as stress free as possible. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, we got married in the Vine House and the Sunflower Suite was so nice to have to get ready in the morning and have to sneak off for some quiet time throughout the night! The guys loved their area to get ready and made my husband’s experience so fun. Our guests took full advantage of the property and absolutely loved the animals and the yard games! Our time from our first viewing to our actual wedding day was spread out through some time due to when we decided to get married and we had a great experience with all the venue coordinators, but I truly cannot say enough about Matthew. He really cares about the brides having the least stressful experience possible and he went out of his way on our rehearsal and wedding day to ensure everything ran smoothly. Thank you Cork and Crate and thank you Matthew!

We recently had our wedding at Cork & Crate and couldn't have been happier with our day and our experience. The venue is well organized to host both the ceremony and the reception, allowing both outdoor options for mingling during cocktail hour and spacious interior for the reception. Matt and his team were amazing helping us set up and throughout the day, checking in to make sure everything was going smooth and that we were having a good time and facilitating our requests. The venue and property offer a number of different options, allowing you to customize your day and experience. We felt that we did not have to decorate a ton because the inside was already beautiful and rustic. We also really enjoyed utilizing both spaces for the bride and groom to get ready. Being able to be at the venue from the start of the day allowed us to take our time and really enjoy the day and experience. We are very thankful for the Cork & Crate team and would recommend the venue to any couple looking for a venue out of the city and there are great options for local vendors in the Olds area.

Absolutely beautiful venue and very accommodating. Matthew, our day of coordinator, made the day completely flawless. He really took the time to get to know us and our individual wants and needs throughout the whole process. I highly recommend this venue for a once in a lifetime experience (and hopefully it is ;) )

Absolutely loved everything about working with Cork and Crate estates for my wedding. They were amazing to work with from start to finish. Matthew, the acting day of coordinator (and so much more) made sure the lead up to the wedding went as smooth as possibly, easing as many nerves ahead of time as humanly possible. Having him on the day of, making sure things ran smoothly took so much pressure off us. We will be recommending Cork and Crate to anyone who will listen. Could not have had a better experience!!

I chose my dress at Dream It Yourself boutique after initially marking it as my "wild card" store as it had the most unique dresses and was at the higher end of my budget. From the very beginning it was a top-notch store, with an extensive range of styles and incredible customer service from Laeticia. She was an absolutely wonderful stylist with amazing energy and the sweetest personality. It was thanks to her that she found my dream dress as it wasn't one I had seen online and she made sure everything came together perfectly for it! After having received my wedding pictures back, I'm reminded again how happy I am to have gone to this store, as I felt so beautiful in this dress and Laeticia's attention to detail and hands-on care during the fittings helped make it all come together and truly solidified my choice! If you come to this store, I hope you have the pleasure of working with Laeticia as well. :)

We had been to a handful of boutiques looking for my wedding dress. Unfortunately our experience at DIY left a sour taste in our mouths. We were happy it wasn't our first appointment trying on dresses because after our appointment here it tainted the experience. There was a strong language barrier with our bridal stylist. We even tried our best to accommodate them but there was no effort on their part and it made the whole appointment awkward and that we were bothering her. We also found she wasn't organized and didn't know any of the inventory. It was also frustrating to look at the dresses on the rack and not know the prices. We kept having to ask "how much is this one". The owner or what appeared to be the owner was friendly and was helping the lady next to us and sounded like they were having a blast. Just wish our experience could of been the same.

Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience at this store. There is nothing wrong with the store in itself and the staff. In fact, the store was beautiful and the consultant assigned to me was very nice. I also have nothing to say about the variety of dresses. However, I felt like the sizing was not very inclusive. Many of the dresses that the consultant pulled out did not fit at all. Some of them were ripped and damaged, probably by the previous girl who tried to squeeze herself in it. I would consider myself mid-size. I think i kinda felt in between their "normal" selection and their plus size selection. I could tell the consultant was uncomfortable and empathetic that i could not even get inside most of the dresses. The reviews for this place are so good! I wish I had a similar experience as everybody else 💔 I'm not saying you shouldn't go to this place. I think it's definitely worth a try, but I wish I had read a review from someone who had the same experience so I could at least be mentally prepared.

I had a great experience at DREAM IT yourself. This intimate boutique was appreciated after being overwhelmed by the high volume of people in the St-Hubert St bridal stores.

Elisa was my bridal stylist and upon arrival, she went through all the gowns they had and the different styles the designers were going for. I made Elisa aware I was most likely not buying my dress from DIY as I wanted to buy near my hometown and my purpose of the visit was to see what style I liked stress-free and she was very understanding! She pulled a lot of beautiful dresses and it helped me narrow down what style I was set on doing. The price point of their dresses is very affordable as well. If I didn't find a dress in my hometown I would have for sure done the trip back and forth to purchase the dress at DIY :)

We got married at Flo's Garden in September 2023. We are so glad we chose to have our wedding here. Jessica and Matt did an amazing job helping our vision for the wedding come to life and made sure everything ran smoothly on the big day. The venue was beautiful and private with lots of greenery and the food was amazing. We have gotten so many compliments from guests. We can't recommend this place enough!

I attended my brother and sister in law’s wedding here last evening, and this venue was beautiful, and the food was amazing! My 2 year old son was the ring bearer, and being a busy 2 year old boy, he was a bit wild. The venue owner stepped up and offered to watch my son and played with him, so that I could sit and watch the ceremony. As a mom of a very busy little boy that day, I was so grateful to the man who helped out with no hesitation. 5 star review very well deserved, incredible venue!

We had our wedding at Flo's Garden in August 2022 and it was truly the best day of our lives thanks to Jess & Matt. From the first day we contacted the Flo's team in 2020, to rescheduling our date in 2021, to our perfect day in 2022, they went above and beyond in every aspect of helping us bring our vision to life. They are expert communicators and fully committed to making each wedding they host special. Thanks to the Flo's team, our day unfolded without a single hitch!

The venue is absolutely stunning - spacious, green and fully customizable (front lawn, barn area for dinner). It is a gorgeous space for photos! My bridesmaids and I loved getting ready in the house on-site, where Matt and Jess welcomed us like family.

Many of our guests still tell us it was the best wedding they had ever attended! They constantly rave about the food from Meatings and the gorgeous venue.

We will always feel an immense gratitude towards the Flo's team for making our day so fantastic. I will never stop recommending Flo's Garden as a wedding venue!

My wife and I got married on October 5th 2024 at Flo's Garden and we are so glad that we picked such an amazing venue!
We had been planning our wedding for over 2 years and Jessica was always so helpful and informative whenever we had any questions leading up to our special day. Her attention to detail and confidence in her work really shows.
She did such a beautiful job capturing the vision that Emily and I had for our day; she checked in several times to make sure that we were happy with the look of the venue and gave us several options in terms of linen, cutlery, table centres, etc; the place is fully customizable to fit any of your needs/wants.

The property is absolutely beautiful, private and the greenery is extremely fantastic, we were obsessed with the willow trees! The bridesmaids absolutely loved getting ready at the venue and getting to spend the morning together before the ceremony began. A truly magical place.

Flo's is partnered with Meatings BBQ for catering and we have had nothing but positive remarks from our guests regarding the food as well. Mat (Meatings BBQ owner) was fantastic and accommodating for our vegetarian guests. Our guests still can't stop talking about it!

October 5th was truly the best day of our lives and we are so thankful to have a wonderful team (Jessica, Mat & staff) to help us make it come true. We will be forever grateful to them and their amazing staff for making our day so fantastic! Y'all welcomed us and made us all feel like family!

I don't even know where to start! We couldn't have gotten married at a more perfect location. It was the number one comment we got from all of our guests. Jessica is incredible, so on top of everything and graciously dealt with my neurotic self the day of the wedding haha The attention to detail was unmatched. Not having to deal with any sourcing of decor was such a relief. My entire vision came to life that day!! The setting was incredibly romantic, the flow of the day was perfect. We had 22 guests and it was the perfect setting, but can easily accommodate so much more. I wish I could do it all over again!!!

The day itself ran flawlessly. Even with many moving parts, everything flowed seamlessly. Guest experience was 10/10, and transitions between spaces were smooth and natural—from setup to cleanup.

It’s taken a couple weeks to gather all of our thoughts and come down from the excitement of our wedding. We contacted Melanie and a few other wedding planners in Montreal 15 months prior to the wedding day ( July 5, 2019). All the planners responded quickly but Melanie’s response was heartfelt, interested, and sincere. Her first question wasn’t, “whats the budget?” rather “how did you meet?” Her initial sincerity never faded - from day one to one week ago, Melanie has continued to be our most important support with all things wedding related.
My husband and I live in New York City and always felt that all aspects were being handled properly from afar. Melanie is budget conscious and was a never ending resource for picking the venue, florist, photographer, hair and makeup, DJ, live band, etc… The list goes on and on.
She always had a plan B for unforeseen circumstances and her elegant style and creativity made the planning process fun. We have the best memories and photos to look back on and Melanie is such a huge part of all of it. We're unbelievably pleased with how everything turned out!

Melanie was the best wedding planner we could have asked for. Not only was she organized, professional, and at the top of the wedding planning game, she is also a fun-loving person. She was able to see the big picture, but also get super granular and specific with the details. The result was a wedding that flowed with joy and love! Everyone asked us who our wedding planner was and we just can't believe our luck that we went with Foudamour. I would highly recommend Melanie at Foudamour to any couple getting married. Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I are to have had the best possible experience.

Melanie helped us coordinate our wedding this summer, and our experience was not the greatest.

Melanie is very skilled at a specific type of wedding. The moment you want something different than what she is used to, conflict arises. She is easily flustered and will push back a lot if your vision conflicts with hers. The meetings we had prior to the wedding were well organized but extremely frustrating. She constantly disagreed with our suggestions and swayed us away from what we'd originally wanted, even when it came to the simplest things. We wanted a shorter dinner and a longer dance party, which became an issue. We were trying to avoid assigned seating to ensure our wedding was less formal, that was out of the question for Melanie. Everything felt complicated; we had to convince her to agree with our vision every single time we spoke. Not the experience you dream of when planning a wedding.

The day of the wedding was also a letdown. While she is very energetic and organized, these qualities didn't transpire on the wedding day. The venue did look beautiful, Melanie and her team executed well on that front (though keep in mind my husband and I selected each vendor, curated the color palette, the flower selection, decor, etc). The problems arose from the start, when we arrived at the venue and were locked out, stranded outside in our wedding attire, even though she had planned our arrival and we were right on time. When we were finally let in, her staff didn't introduce themselves to us, barely acknowledging our presence, and Melanie's stress was palpable. When came time to walk down the aisle, Melanie got panicked and was very abrupt with us and our wedding party because one of our older relatives was "taking too long to walk down the aisle". She stressed us all out before an really important milestone. A similar situation arose when we were about to get introduced as a couple, and were left stranded in a hot room for over 25 minutes, waiting for her team to figure out the music. We ended up being introduced to the wrong song, which messed up the whole first portion of the dance party and dinner. This had all been scheduled, rehearsed, written down and was her responsibility.

Not once during the wedding did she come check on us, and she was nowhere to be found when our DJ lost access to the wifi and could not play anything besides the same 10 songs on repeat. As the person responsible for coordinating with our vendors and ensuring the wedding went down flawlessly, this was her responsibility, yet she was not around. I had to run around the venue to figure out the wifi. On that note, she was also abrupt and impatient with our other vendors, which in our opinion is unacceptable.

Melanie and her team did a great job of cleaning up the venue, ensuring our gifts and cards were safe and returning props and furniture to our suppliers. But for the price of a wedding planner, we expected more than a decent cleanup. We expected someone who kept her cool during stressful situations, someone who made us feel heard and who worked hard to make this special day feel unique to us. Unfortunately, that's not what we got. I rarely write reviews but I thought our experience could benefit others in their search for a wedding planner

Melanie and her team worked with my husband and I for over a year in the wedding planning process and the day came together better than we could have hoped for. We hired Fusion Bollywood for my daughter’s Quinceañera, and they exceeded our expectations. The stage setup was absolutely stunning, and the flowers were gorgeous. We received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything looked. The team was professional, punctual, and very friendly to work with. My now wife Hanna and I got married here on June 20, 2025 and we can’t stop thinking about our day. We wouldn’t change a thing about it, every aspect was wonderful.

We owe our day of coordinator Taylor a debt of gratitude, she is the absolute best. If you are planning on getting married here, I cannot recommend her enough. She anticipated and saw to our every need, making sure we wanted for nothing the entire day.

The views at Le Belvédère alone are enough to pull the trigger and book here but it is so much more than what is on the surface. It runs like a well oiled, finally crafted German sports car, everything precise, in lockstep and at peak performance. From the amazing meals to their years of experience holding special days of celebration, the whole team at this venue as a collective has made this place in my humble opinion the best choice for a wedding venue in the Greater Ottawa area.

This was my first time at Le Belvédère and I certainly hope it’s not my last. As a wedding photographer, I cannot say enough good things about this venue from a vendor’s standpoint. Aside from the obvious gorgeous views, the natural lighting is beautiful to photograph in. I definitely want to highlight how wonderful the staff were in treating the vendors as humans. It’s rare to feel cared for during a wedding day at a venue but Taylor and the rest of the staff made it happen. Not only did I have my own plate of hors d’oeuvres brought to me during cocktail hour to fuel me up, but I also had glasses of water brought to me throughout the day to stay hydrated. This may sound minor, but it’s a huge deal in 30°C weather and the attention to care and detail from the staff is huge. I truly had such a wonderful time and again, hope it’s not my last visit!

There is a reason they win Best Wedding Venue year after year. The location is incredible on its own, but the staff make every experience at this venue truly fantastic.

I am a wedding photographer and when I reached out to tour the venue simply to get a feel for the space and experience it for myself, the coordinator Taylor who handled my request was extremely generous with her time and willing to show me around, answer all of my questions, and now, after photographing weddings here, will check in to see if there's anything they can improve on as a venue.

For a vendor who works at several new venues every season, this is incredibly refreshing. But of course, I could think of nothing to say for improvements, because the venue, lighting, food, and staff are 10/10 on every level.

As a wedding photographer, Le Belvédère is easily one of my favourite venues to shoot at. After photographing a wedding here this past Saturday, I completely understand why they consistently receive glowing reviews and accolades year after year. Luminous Weddings was the first thing I booked after I got engaged because I knew their work was great and I had such a great initial impression when I met with them at the wedding show. Ryan photographed both of my daughters' weddings recently. The pictures are spectacular! The formals are wonderful and beautifully mixed with candids that caught the moments just before and after the official shots. His photos of the celebrations depict the mood of the events. He did a great job of capturing the important moments at both weddings.

Morgan was such a delight to work with and we're so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day dreams come true. And she looked after us in so many small but thoughtful ways - for example, placing a fan behind our table so we wouldn't get hot during dinner, delivering our bouquet to the preservationist. She nailed every single one of my requests and helped pull off every detail. I'd highly recommend working with her!
I also was glad she was part of LFW - the company overall has deep relationships and respect from other vendors and from venues (ours was Chateau Lake Louise) so that made so many things so much easier. As my husband and I set out to plan our wedding in Banff, we knew it would come with some challenges and nuances since we are not locals to the area and have never planned an international wedding. That’s when we decided to call in the experts at LFW, and we had the pleasure of working with the one and only Lynn Fletcher herself. It’s hard to really put into words how great of an experience it was working with Lynn and LFW. Probably the best way to convey the experience was a “feeling of safety”; a feeling of being taken under someone’s wing, knowing your best intentions are being looked out for.

In the year leading up to our wedding, Lynn took the time and care to understand who we were as people, and, more importantly, as a couple. Each meeting felt like a casual conversation about what we had in mind, and when we struggled to fill in the details Lynn was there to take us the rest of the way. She took our design and transformed it into something we never thought possible. She provided truly expert insight on things we knew (and still know) nothing about. We appreciated the level of attention to detail her professional lens brought to the process. It was like working with your best friend who has thrown events you only dream of attending. We put our trust in her…and we are so glad we did.

She was our protector on our wedding day. She carved out little moments throughout the day to check in on us, and made sure that we didn’t get wrapped up in all the stress that usually comes with weddings, but instead made sure we could truly enjoy it. One thing she did that I truly loved was revealing the reception to us alone while our guests were enjoying a happy hour in another room. All three of our faces (mine, my husband and Lynn’s) lit up with joy and excitement as we reflected on what a years worth of planning brought us.

Through our relationship in planning, we built trust with each other. We knew that things would turn out exactly as they should because Lynn was on top of it. Beyond the quality of the photos, Nick was amazing to work with. We got snapshots from BTS (behind-the-scenes), some preview photos only 2 weeks after our wedding date, as well as an Instagram reel, a longer 7min video and over 1,000 photos in total.

We've had the pleasure of working with Nicholas for the photography of our wedding and we could not be happier with the result! Nicholas is extremely well organized. We had meetings to discuss our needs, forms to fill out to make sure every important moment and interaction was captured and a clear schedule of what was to come and we are really grateful for it. Planning a wedding can be hectic, so having such a streamlined and convenient process was enjoyable and quite refreshing. During the wedding, Nicholas was blending in with the crowd and was very subtle. Our guests only had great things to say about him and some even said that they felt comfortable being photographed even though that is usually not the case. Only a couple days after the wedding, we received a preview gallery of around 50 shots. Despite our wedding being in a very busy season, the turnaround for the entire gallery was surprisingly fast. We still cannot believe how good the pictures turned out. We can now relive our special day through the pictures and they are simply amazing! Thank you so much Nicholas.

Recently had our Intimate Wedding here - affordable, easy to book online, and friendly coordinator, officiant and admin overall. Recommend for a stress-free wedding for a smaller party - ours were just immediate family (but the chapel can house up to 150).

Chapel features stain-glass windows on the sides, wooden finish all over and a garden at the back of the chapel for photos. The party can park in the front, and there is another parking area nearby for the guests. Highly recommend! :)

Palm Tree was recommended to us by friends and I have absolutely zero regrets. Tyler was very organized with communication leading up to the wedding and helped with any questions I had. Tyler was not able to shoot our wedding but the team he has created is amazing and know what they are doing. Four days after the event, I already had sneak peak photos in my inbox.

When planning, I wasn't sure what style of photography I wanted. Tyler helped guide me and I was not disappointed. A few months before the wedding I changed my package and added the videography which I am so grateful I did. One thing that stood out to me as a highlight was the organizing of group photos. When your thoughts are going a mile a minutes, it was nice to be told what would look best. 10/10 would recommend.

I went with Palm Tree to shoot my wedding in June 2024 and I have absolutely zero regrets. Of all the vendors I worked with, they were one of the best. Tyler was super organized and professional leading up the wedding day, always responding to my e-mails quickly and clearly which gave me a lot of confidence heading into our big day. Him and his team were friendly, had no issues adjusting when it started to rain, and were right on time in the morning to meet us (and on time for sharing sneak peaks and the full gallery weeks later as listed on their website)!

I asked for natural, documentary style photos and was not disappointed. Even more so, they were able to get a picture of every single person at our approx. 100 person wedding. I am so grateful that I can look back at these photos and see everyone who was there, with a mix of genuine candid moments and posed portrait-style photos. When we weren't sure what to do, Tyler was amazing at organizing our couple and group poses, giving us prompts in a friendly and fun way, and was happy to roll with our own ideas too. My husband and I were married at Berkeley Church in March 2017.

We were so over the moon with our customized service! In our initial meeting Sarah gave us a questionnaire to fill out and asked us many questions about our relationship, family and wedding plans. She was very knowledgeable about the wedding industry and was able to provide us with lots of quality vendor recommendations as well as general support.

In our second meeting she ran through her draft of the service, taking into account our details and stories from the questionnaire and our conversations. Every word was “us”! The service was totally customized. Many of our friends and family commented on how unique and personal it was.

My husband and I wrote our own vows and kept them a secret until the day. Sarah read them ahead of time and offered guidance, making sure they were similar in length and tone. Everything about the legal parts of the wedding process (including our license, marriage certificate etc) was well explained. Sarah made sure to have a general understanding of our wedding day dynamics. Getting details about our wedding party and immediate family so she could better navigate the day.

A few months later we attended a friend’s wedding that Sarah also officiated (because they had been at out wedding and loved her!) … It was so nice to hear that their service was totally different from ours!! It made it all the more beautiful to us.

The day of the wedding went seamlessly- not once did I feel stressed or rushed. Alexandra kept us on timeline and attended to anything we needed. All of the staff that day were so welcoming and friendly.

The venue is stunning. We got married in the forest venue, and it felt like a magical forest. Every corner of the venue radiates beauty. The bride's loft and the groom's cabin were also so special. The indoor reception was made so intimate with the twinkle lights and white cloth amongst the wooden aesthetic.

We cannot forget about the delicious food! The appetizers passed around during cocktail hour, the smoky beef tenderloin for our main, and the maple dessert were perfect. The buttermilk biscuits during the appetizer course were especially to die for! The late-night poutine also hit the spot for guests after tearing it up on the dance floor!

I already wish I could relive the whole day and get married there again! We would absolutely recommend Temple's Sugar Bush!

You can enter the building that holds a massive evaporator for boiling down the sap. Really nice people here and although I've not seen it yet. I'm told that fall trail walks and weddings are a favorite due to the changing colors on all the Maple trees.

From our initial viewing of the venue with Sherry, right up until our wedding day, everybody at Temple's was great to work with. They've thought of everything when it comes to weddings, and they're very helpful with any questions or concerns. Some examples:
- at the menu tasting they sat us with other couples near our wedding date, so if we'd wanted to share any decor or ideas it would have been easy to coordinate
- at the details meeting Amber had multiple helpful suggestions (such as helping us choose the best drink package, and what to do with the decor)
- at our rehearsal the day before Jenna went over all the big details of the ceremony, so we knew all the cues for getting down the aisle
- our ceremony was indoors because unfortunately it did rain, but Moira was driving out and looking at the storm clouds 15 minutes before the ceremony, and if it had cleared they were ready to wipe down all the wet chairs and flip everything back to outside, which I appreciated
- I also loved that they offered to donate our flowers (to a care home, I think) after the ceremony so they weren't just thrown out

The venue's also beautiful, inside and out, and the food was amazing.

Alexandra, Jenna, and the staff at Temple's truly made my wedding day magical and stress free. The attention to detail and care they showed myself, my husband, and all our guests was amazing. Temple’s Sugar Bush is a stunning wedding venue with rustic charm and elegance. They have multiple locations on site that was fully accessible to us. We decided to have our ceremony in the Woodland aread, beautiful pictures in the garden and our reception indoors in the barn. It was breathtaking! From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, the staff members were attentive, responsive, and went above and beyond to meet our needs and the ones of our guests.

I booked the Garrett for our holiday work party and it was one of the best nights of the year. The staff and team made the planning so easy and I was so impressed with the level of attention to detail. It was incredibly easy and fun to work with their team and I would recommend them to anyone who asks for a great venue. Almost one year later and our team is still raving about what a perfect night that was. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I am a wedding photographer in the city, and I can’t believe I’ve never shot here. I just toured this space, and wow is it beautiful. The grand piano, the brick wall, just all of it is gorgeous and perfect for a small wedding. Jenna is super friendly and easy to work with. You need to consider having your wedding here

We recently hosted an event at the Garret and had an amazing experience. The space is gorgeous and really gives that cool downtown loft vibe. We can't wait for our next event at The Garret and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an intimate downtown venue.

The venue is so amazing for any type of event it is welcoming, cozy, and just an all around great place. What makes the Garret even more amazing is working with Heather she is prompt with her responses, ensures a smooth night for your event, and reminds you of the small details you might forget! I needed a last minute bartender not only did she find one but he was the most friendly, outgoing bartender I have ever dealt with! If you are looking for a venue to have an effortless night this is the place

We used The Garret for both the girls getting ready before our ceremony and our cocktail hour while the team flipped The Pioneer for our reception. The space is beautiful and unique with amazing views and exposed brick walls. It made for amazing getting ready photos as well as comfortable for lounging before the ceremony. Our cocktail hour was amazing in this space. Logistically it was perfect that it is right next door to The Pioneer so our guests didn't have to go far between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. It also has an open kitchen which allowed our guests to watch the chef create our delicious snacks.

I had so much fear about our big day, and organizing such a large event. The staff and their experience and knowledge really came through. Everything about my day felt effortless, they made sure every detail was perfect, they worked with all the vendors and my family to take stress off my plate so I could have the most unforgettable experience. The venue was immaculate, our photos will be unforgettable and so beautiful, I usually hate being photographed but when you are surrounded by such beauty you feel your best. The rooms were stunning, clean, prepped and the beds were very comfortable.
We had an amazing experience, I’m forever grateful for every employee (and there were many ) that came together for a common goal to shower my family, husband, and I with so much support. I can not say enough, they know what they are doing, if you have the opportunity to book here you will have zero regrets, everything was perfect.

An absolute dream come true ♥️ We had our wedding at The Norland Historic Estate in June and it was the best 2 days of our lives. A major shout out to Jeli our coordinator, you made our day flow flawlessly and hosted us to The Norland as if it was your own. We will never forget your graciousness, kindness, organizational skills and sweet personality!! Grace helped coordinate everything prior the wedding and was prompt with all responses and extremely attentive to detail!! Although we were planning a wedding from Calgary I felt completely understood, supported and trusting of The Norland team the entire time. Our day was whimsical and just as we dreamed. Thank you!!!

We got married at this beautiful venue just a few days ago. We have nothing but incredible things to say and truly felt that the Norland made all of our dreams come true.

I specifically want to shout out our venue host- Jeli! She was so kind and caring always around, but never in the way. She made us feel like $1 million on our special day and fulfilled every request. We are so lucky she got scheduled to work our wedding!

My family and friends have not stopped talking about the amazing service she provided.. 10000/10 she is a one of a kind person and hard worker and we are so thankful to have met her.

We got married there on May 29th 2025 and it was beyond perfect. Once we got there Jelica was so helpful and went above and beyond for us! The venue is gorgeous and the food was amazing. The catering staff and bartender were also great!
