Overall a disappointing experience. I had concerns with the quality of the hems and edges. As you can see from the photos, the craftsmanship is lacking. The manager said that this quality was their standard and I shouldn’t worry. It’s the attention to detail that I found frustrating, even if it is not visible on the outside. I said that for $700, the hems and edges should at least look more professionally done. The manager said that this is what $700 gets you and if I wanted better quality, I should have gone to Harry Rosen and spend $4000 instead. I found this comment dismissive and unprofessional. Even $5 fast fashion clothes have better construction, which is ironic as these suits are made in a Chinese factory as well. I also had concerns with the fabric (it is cotton, linen, and silk). The fabric was pilling and stretched looking in so many areas, making the suit look used and old. The manager said I could just use scissors to remove the pilling and this was common in the fabric I chose. However, the quality of their garments should be their responsibility and a brand new custom made suit should not look used like that. Speaking of responsibility, they said they would remove the seams for the pockets. When I got back the suit, the seams were still there and the manager said I could remove them by hand carefully. He showed me how and I realized when I got home, he damaged the fabric from pulling the seams apart. I am not sure why he did not use a seam ripper to be more careful. Lastly, the fit was so ghastly when I first received it. It was baggy everywhere. While they did alterations as part of the final look, there are still areas that are so ill fitting. As someone with thick thighs and a big butt, they still somehow managed to make the pants look like a diaper on me. I get that the fabric does not stretch, but I did not want a diaper/balloon pants. After the alterations, the jacket started wrinkling at the back, indicating fit issues with the as well. I would not recommend Indochino to anyone. I am sure many people get what they want from them, but it does not seem like they care when some people get poor quality and ill-fitting outfits.

Horrible Experience – Would Never Recommend

My dad had an incredibly disappointing experience with Indochino. He created a custom suit with them, and as you can see from the attached photos, the fit was nowhere near what the measurements should have produced.

When I contacted customer service, they told me he would have to return to their Calgary location within two weeks to have it fixed — despite the fact that he lives in Saskatchewan. This meant taking time off work and paying for unnecessary travel, all for a suit that was supposed to be custom-made right the first time.

The total cost of his suit was $800, but with the additional travel expenses and time lost, this ended up costing him much more. When he visited the store a second time, staff casually mentioned there may have been an error with how the iPad recorded my measurements — seriously? Their offered compensation? A pocket square. Laughable and insulting given the inconvenience he endured.

He was told by the store manager to contact customer service again in case they could do more. He sent an email immediately after his second trip — no response, not even an acknowledgement. I followed up three weeks later and still heard nothing.

For a company that markets itself as a premium custom suit maker, this was a completely unacceptable experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering Indochino — especially for a special occasion — to think twice. I’ll never make another suit with them, and I do not recommend their services to anyone.

We are a two-bride wedding.
We had the privilege of meeting with Marco to help us with choosing a suit for our wedding party. We absolutely would have left with the wrong colour without his help! We are so excited to share with our wedding party that their suits will not be just a “one-time-wear” because the colour we landed on is so versatile it can be worn over again. Thank you again Marco! I am impressed by the service, punctuality, and hard work of the team. They answered all my questions and the product I ordered arrived on time, perfectly fitting me. I went back and ordered another suit and a few shirts, which is proof of the quality work and services they provide.

I got my wedding dress from La Maison Bridal and did my alterations there. All staff were very helpful and supportive. They really helped me pick a dress and gave me enough time and appointments to make a decision. They have a great collection. Prices are very reasonable. I got alterations done there. Very lovely seamstress who is patient and has a great demeanour. She has a great personality and lots of experience. She tried to accommodate my requests while also knowing what works and what does not. I had a great experience and overall would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I am shocked by the positive reviews. I would not recommend this boutique to fat brides or any body really. There's maybe 20-30 plus size dresses and they're hidden in the back. The selection was very limited and the dresses barely fit enough to try on so I couldn't really tell if I would like it or if I would be comfortable in the dress even if it were my size. There was one dress the consultant kept wanting me to try on and it seemed like the go-to dress for plus size brides. The consultant also let me try on a dress that clearly stated on the tag only went up to a size 12. When my sister expressed it would be nice to see the dress on a plus size model she told us to look it up online and maybe we could buy it from somewhere else. It was so strange. Anyway, I am very thankful I had a wonderful appointment earlier that day at David's Bridal or I probably would have sworn off wedding dress shopping completely.

Had the best experience at Maison Bridal with my girls. I purchased a $2500 dress that the lady told me had two small holes that would be no problem to fix. Got home with the dress to realize they weren’t two small holes. They were huge holes that I ended up needing to replace the whole back of the dress. The zipper was broken that she also said “oh, you just need to pull it up a bit harder than the other dresses”.
I should have checked the holes my self. I understand but I was so in the moment because I found the dress and she threw my veil on and sent me out to show my ladies the dress that I didn’t even think about checking.

I found MY dress here! I honestly never thought I would have the experience of finding THE dress until I came here. I had seen an Instagram ad with this specific dress and booked my appointment for the next day. The staff is always very lovely. I didn’t feel rushed, and I felt heard. The boutique is also very lovely and in a good location. All in all, I loved my experience and would definitely recommend!

I had a lovely experience dress shopping at La Maison! While I didn't find 'the one', they had a great selection of pretty dresses, an intimate space for me and my group, and even an area with alternate lighting so you can see the dress in different lights. My bridal stylist was super kind, and not pushy.

In from out of town. Tina gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years. She is a master of her craft. A true professional. 5 stars!

Wow. What an awful customer service experience. I called to inquire about their services and I wanted more information prior to choosing a date, which she didn't appear to like. While summarizing the appointment, and her rushing me off the phone, I had to include a detail and the woman on the phone said she will have to call me back as it's taking too long and she has a client. I said no problem, and without even a goodbye, she thought she hung up the phone and said to her client, or someone, "Did you hear that, what is wrong with her. All I needed was a date!" I will NEVER call them back. So insulting when simply trying to give them business. She should be embarrassed, whether you run the company or simply work there, that is not how you treat potential clients. Very nasty experience.

My husband went there and this was the final product…. It’s suppose to be a barber shop… 🫣 avoid it!

I had an incredible experience at Moores Clothing thanks to the outstanding service provided by Daniele! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and at ease. We were looking for a rental suit for an upcoming wedding, and Daniele was nothing short of exceptional in guiding us through the options.

Valentina (Patricia) was an absolute wonder to work with. I visited to pick up a sport jacket that wasn't available in my size at the Ajax store. She was incredibly helpful with helping me find the right fit and even suggested other jackets that would've been suitable for the event I was attending. I would gladly recommend speaking with her if you need help with fits, color combos, and suit styles. 10/10 would recommend.

Great customer service. Patricia was so helpful, patient and experienced. Great taste too! We took all her recommendations, and she put together a suit that looked great from top to bottom. So thankful we bumped into her because she made this process much quicker and easier.

Great service from Hayden on my recent (and last minute as usual) wedding outfit purchase. He gave honest feedback on what did and didn’t match, did not rush through options, was patient and took measurements to ensure a good fit. Also gave honest feedback on shoe comfort and longevity with input from one other team member. I felt very welcomed. Refreshing to receive a level of service that is what the standard used to be. Well exceeding today’s standards. Very impressed, personable too.

Speaking of shoes, I know uniforms might be corporate policy and not determined by management, but jeez somebody up top has to make it so staff that pass a minimum seniority or performance metric can get hooked up better with some fresh shoes. More than just their usual employee discount. They did not reveal theirs, but make it better. These guys have put them to good use and deserve a fresh set at a sweet deal or on the house. @ Mgmt comp these fine lads on some new kicks if you can, they deserve it.

Xavier did a fantastic job at finding me the right suit for my best friends wedding. Extremely helpful and intelligent. Will definitely be back if I ever need any other formal clothing. Great experience.

Every single time I come here (I don't know what's wrong with me - maybe I try to see the best in people,) I end up looking for what I want, by myself, with little to no help from the staff.

Did I ever find the pleated flannel trousers I wanted? Nope.

Did the staff even seem to care if I did? Nah.

Do I even know if they even have such a pair? I would hope so, but clearly not, at the point that I'm writing this.

In any case, I have resigned myself to accept that Moores is merely a prom-tux rental-shop. Any self-respecting aesthete with an eye to men's classic wear would do well to avoid this establishment like the plague.

I went into Moores for a Tux rental. They took the time to make sure i was 100% satisfied before I left. I didn't know that they had so many other nice clothing beside suits. I bought a lot of other casual shirts and they were able to get them tailored on site for me at a very low cost. I am completely satisfied with them. I will definitely be back to buy more of my usual casual clothing. A PLUS SERVICE!

My first visit to NYFB, and I booked with Urvansh after reading all the positive reviews, he absolutely exceeded my expectations. He took the time to look at the shape of my head, offered thoughtful suggestions, and customized the cut to suit me best. And he nailed it. The mid fade was clean, and his scissor work was top-notch. You can tell he's truly passionate about what he does and genuinely cares about both the outcome and the client experience.

If you're on the fence, don’t be. Book with Urvansh ASAP, it's definitely worth it.

As a person who hated all hairdressers/bafberahops I have went to, it was a lovely experience. I got the haircut I wanted and the guy who cut my hair even suggested some tweaks here and there, and it turned out just like how I pictured it. It's been a few months, so I'll be coming back shortly!

The woman that works there messed up my undershave dramatically, i had my 1.5feet long hair coming out when i took my hair down
I did contact the boss and he made up for it by paying for another establishment to fix it so that was kind but still think its important for others to know!
This would have been a 1 star if the higherups blew me off but he was genuine !

Patrick is my guy. Great sports conversation every time I go in, I also bike to the store and he lets me park my bike inside. Great atmosphere inside, lots of cool jerseys, and other sports memorabilia. Good seating if there is a wait. Definitely recommend making a reservation, walk ins can happen but more likely to secure your timing with a reservation.

Walked in this store randomly looking for a new belt to go with my professional wardrobe. There was a good amount of selection. The store was well-lit, professional-looking and welcoming. There was a good music on and a good ambience. Staff was helpful. All in all , an excellent place to shop for formal wear, and also an opportunity to support a local business.

I am a lawyer and bought my Robes from Giroux years ago. I had a great and professional experience with them at that time.

However, I had continued buying my suits at another popular and well known corporately run "mens clothing store." My experience at this other store had declined considerably in recent years.

I then decided to buy two suits from Giroux's and am glad I made the change. I received friendly service and quality suits. I wear a suit almost every working day, and moving forward I am going to be spending my money at Giroux's.

I highly recommend any professionals check them out if you have not already!

I’ve been wanting to visit this store for a long time, and I finally did. Very happy. Great, friendly service. I bought a suit and the alterations were perfect - so far, a great experience. I the. Went back a few weeks later and purchased a made-to-measure dress shirt. Picked up the shirt and it’s perfect. The shirt fits me, a larger, plump body style, better than any off-the-shelf shirts I’ve tried or purchased in the past. I see why this local store has been around for so many years and I’m glad I went to check them out.

I visited Sonia's Bridal for my bridesmaids dresses. Sonia had such a welcoming studio and made us feel right at home. We each had individual needs and wants in our dresses and she listened to us and found the perfect dress. All of my bridesmaid were happy and confident in their choices. I dropped off two dresses to get altered by Sonia. She was able to get a dress altered for me within less than 24 hours and the other dress within the week. She was super quick, friendly and very affordable! I will definitely be coming back to her in the future, her location is also so central which I love ! Highly recommend !

Sonia has been absolutely marvellous. She took us short notice, had the most reasonable prices and didn’t even want to take the money until my wife was satisfied with her dress. 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend her to anybody. Her prices won’t be beat and she is efficient as we only had to go back once. Other places dry minimum standard price regardless of the work needed and what kind of dress and also requested multiple fittings to make things work.

I ordered a bridesmaids dress online and needed a ton of alterations done (hemmed length, narrowing of the bra cups, and bringing in the waist). I was so anxious about this dress but Sonia was so confident in her ability to make it fit perfectly, and she did not disappoint! Really great price for all these alterations and it was done within one week. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much Sonia :)

Super professional and friendly!! We took our cat Izzie to get his nails trimmed as we were unable to do it ourselves at home - he was a recent rescue and had never had his nails trimmed before, it was almost impossible for us to get him to trim his nails. Gabriella handled him amazingly, she was so sweet and gentle with him and was able to trim all the nails of his front paws which was a great relief as his front paws specifically were growing faster and getting very long. We will be coming back later for his back paws and know he will be in good hands 🐾❤️

Its our first time here and i was a bit worried rozzie my 5 year old dog will be hard to groom! But Gabriella was amazing and gentle with rozzie💕💕💕she feels love and she looks amazing🌸! Gabriella is so kind and a joy to be around. Her and her team are very respectful and kind.
We were there for our dog's first visit, and they knew how to give our puppy breaks, treats, and overall - when to stop so our dog leaves clean and happy.

Spa LePetlandais is amazing. The staff are kind, really care for my pet and myself. They do grooming and are completely trustworthy. I can't say enough good things about them.

Gabriella replied by blaming my dog, again, for the terrible job she did but she also lied on her own google page pretending that ''I asked her to force my dog''.

She followed up by saying she knows I came in with bad intentions (whatever that means).

Trying to flip the table on an honest negative comment by trying to make the client look like a terrible owner just shows what type of person Gabriella truly is.

*** I never leave comments on google but this story is worth sharing.

I brought my 4yo golden retreiver at the end of june for a regular grooming.

The job was poorly done and Gabriella told me to come back after the weekend so she she can do a better job.
I paid in full and left a generous tip.

I had to leave four messages to finaly get a call back two weeks later, she apoligized and got booked for the following week.

When I picked up Lily, I was in shock, it was like a toddler had played with clippers on my dog.
Gabriella was trying to defend herself by saying it's the dog's fault(although the previous groomer always did a perfect job).

After trying to make sense with her, I gave up, told her Id never come back.

To add insult to injury, as I was stepping out, Gabriella told me I had to pay to which I replied that I already paid and my dog looks worst than when I first brought her and obviously wasn't gonna pay again.

She then said she was gonna "call the authorities" if I didn't pay her.

Gabriella is highly unorganized and has no idea how to groom a golden.

I am so sad for those who did not have positive experiences at Woofington.

Jodi goes above and beyond, prioritizing my Luna’s comfort and health every time. I am so grateful to have them in my life, and to know that I have a strong, kind, caring knowledgeable support system for my goofy newfy’s hygiene and maintenance.

I was optimistic when I spoke to the owner on the phone. She seemed genuine and for us that was important. However, we were totally let down when a 1 1/2 hour allotted time for grooming became almost 3 hours. When we picked up our dog, the owner was defensive and almost confrontational and never apologized for the delay. The space has a terrible odour and seems somewhat unclean. Needless to say we won't be back and we definitely don't recommend this place.

I have been grooming my dog there for a few years. My dog gets knotted very easily and they always take the time to brush him so that he doesn’t have to get shaved( unlike other places I’ve been too). I highly recommend this groomer!

Honestly the best dog groomer out there. The owner, Jodi takes so much time with the dog and makes sure that her customers are 100% satisfied. The time and effort that was put into grooming my dog was incredible and I will definitely be back.

I have a doodle with a lot of anxiety. Jodi took her time to allow her to be at ease to be able to cut her fur and has never forced my dog to handle more than she could. Everytime my dog sees her salon she gets all excited and starts running towards it. She create a fun but safe environment for the dogs and handles them with care and goes along with the dogs needs, which not all salons do! She has great patience with dogs that have anxiety like mine and you can see she really loves them a lot!

I have been to a lot of shops in the GTA and for me, this is the best shop with the best quality of work! Customer service is top notch as well. Sharon was very patient in all our inquires and is very knowledgeable on their service. Our appointment was nothing but positive experience.

Also, they are having a 30% discount if you purchase suits during your birth month which I think is a pretty great deal!

I doubt the authenticy of these positive reviews. The clothes are tailored in China and come to you very poorly fitting - they will not refund (they make you sign a "final sale" document) and will offer "correct" it for you, but you cannot correct pants that are too short and too small. Shirt are too short and tight. Please do yourself a favour and look at the Better Business Bureau rating - their rating is F.

I purchased my custom wedding suit at this location. From the moment I walked into the store, Sharon was accommodating and managed to squeeze me in for a fitting. A few weeks later, the suit arrived at home and it only needed minor alterations. Speaks to the work Sharon did at the initial visit. Danesh helped me out with the alterations. He provided great suggestions and feedback and clearly aware of current trends. On visit three, both Sharon and Danesh were present and ended the service the way it began - excellence in all aspects of customer service and hospitality. I highly recommend this location and thanks to the team at Indochino for ensuring I’ll be looking great for my wife come wedding day!

The store offers a good selection of suits and customization options. However, my experience with the associate assisting me was disappointing. Despite having a scheduled appointment, the associate was also helping another customer during my time. I would have understood this if the interaction had still been courteous, but unfortunately, he came across as quite rude and dismissive.

When I asked questions, I received short, direct answers with no suggestions or guidance. I felt rushed throughout the process, even though I was investing close to a thousand dollars—not just a few hundred. I wanted to go over different options for Ties/Pocket square as well but the associate had no time. I wanted to carefully consider the right suit and color combination, but instead of supporting that, the associate asked if I planned to "text and ask everything" from my friend. I was doing so because any question I asked was met with, "It's up to you," rather than helpful input.

Coming from a sales and customer service background myself, I believe this associate lacked the basic skills expected in a client-focused environment. I rarely leave reviews, as I don’t want to negatively affect a business based on a single experience. But this situation was quite frustrating.

That said, I still placed an order and am hoping everything arrives on time. I truly hope the product meets the expectations.

It was a wonderful experience, went to get a dress shirt and left with a suit as well. Sharon was amazing to deal with, she answered all of my questions and made the process very pleasant. I'd strongly recommend her if you're looking at getting a suit.

Got my wedding suit at Moores Montreal and overall had a great experience. Prices seemed reasonable for what you get. The staff was helpful—yes, they try to upsell a bit, but if you know what you want, you’ll be just fine. One of the sellers even suggested I come back later to take advantage of a better discount, which I really appreciated. They made sure I got the right fit and helped tailor the suit so it came out perfect. There was a small hiccup when a new employee forgot to call me once my suit was ready, which caused a slight delay, but in the end, everything worked out. Solid place if you’re looking for good mid-range quality suits.

The customer service was amazing. I don’t know exactly what the job name is but her name was Virginie and she was extremely patient with me and my parents, she was very vibrant and bubbly! She dedicated herself a lot to finding the best choices for our suits and managed to find a jacket for me where there were only 2 available in canada on a specific date and a pair of pants where there was only 1 available. I got really lucky but that doesn’t stop the fact that she was incredibly nice with us and I’m definitely coming back for prom. This is probably the best spot to visit if you want to look the best.

We came to Montreal for an event and planned to buy a suit when we arrived. The staff at the Moore’s shop on Saint-Cathrine Street was superb! They helped my husband find exactly what he was looking for. The manager, Watson, stopped and expedited the hemming of the pants and it was ready within 15 minutes. The sales team, Abdullah, Talph, Ilyan, and Nandin are the picture of courteous, accommodating, and professional! Thank You!

Today i got the chance to be served by the amazing and phenomenal Virginia. This woman is passionate about what she does and truly takes care of her clients. Not only was she alone on the floor handling everything but was super respectful with our time. She was running around doing the cash as she was taking really the time to explain to us every little detail that counted. She has a great skill of communication. I went in to see what they had for the suits for the groomsmen for my wedding and for the suit for my dad with my dad. She set us a whole dossier with everything on it while explaining to us every step of the way. She really brought the WOW to this whole experience. She is one to take as an example for what a great service would be. She definitely deserves a propmotoon or something. I highly recommend her for appointments. Thank you Virginia. You will be a great manager one day!!

Nandini was a great help for picking out a suit for my friend’s wedding. I came in with a lot of questions and uncertainty and I left feeling confident about my new suit! She clearly knows what she’s talking about, but isn’t afraid to ask her colleague’s opinion if she’s not 100% sure. I highly recommend her service!

We had a fantastic shopping experience! The store offers a great selection across a range of price points, and the product quality is truly impressive. I came with my partner to buy his first suit. We had no clue where to start with it and the sales associate we worked with was so incredibly helpful (unfortunately I don't remember his name, but thank you so much!). He also suggested some shirts and ties that would pair beautifully with the suit my partner ended up choosing. Would highly recommend coming here for a reasonably priced suit, especially if you haven't had experience buying them before!

A great store for all your men’s wear needs & more. Always good selections, sales & service. They will even due custom suit jacket linings with your favourite sports team. I had a blazer done here with the Winnipeg Jets lining, they did an amazing job. Moores is the best in men’s wear plus.

Rented a tux for my wedding. The younger staff were friendly and very accommodating. However, the man (rounded facial features, white, 40s-50s, beard) working the front counter 3:30PM on Aug 10 was pretentious and unwelcoming during both visits. Chris, on the other hand, was very considerate and addressed issues effectively. Overall positive experience

I went to this Moores' location on May 14th (approx 6:30pm) and was helped by a younger gent who was friendly, kind, and quick to assist. Don't know his name but his customer service was very, very good.
I went in last minute to find a blazer for a event I left to the last minute. The first one he recommended fit perfectly, and was also on a massive sale. I went, got what I needed, and was done in like five minutes. Fantastic. I understand not all experiences are like this but I was impressed. He was a great help and the store as a whole was fantastic as well. I picked up three dress shirts as well that were also on sale! A great day - I will be back to this Moores' location.

I had a great experience shopping at Tom’s Place! They have a wide selection of quality suits at very reasonable prices. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect fit for a formal event. I ended up with a sharp-looking, well-tailored suit that looks much more expensive than what I paid. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for affordable luxury and great service in Toronto!

My partner and I had an amazing experience at Tom's Place. We were treated with so much care and warmth from the team, but especially from Lionel who helped us. His care and attention to detail and efforts to hear exactly what we wanted turned the experience into something we will genuinely never forget. We got the sense that he really understood how important this experience was, and made us feel so safe and welcomed. The tailoring was perfect and adjustments were made quickly. The suit looked fantastic, the shopping experience was so easy and fun, and we even got lots of advice on how to complete the outfit. If you're a queer couple and feel unsure about going to a space like this, I can personally vouch for how welcome they made us feel.

Tom’s Place is the best place to buy a suit in Toronto. I am overwhelmed with joy that the owner Mr Tom Mihalik was able to do repairs on a suit I bought from him several years ago. Every other tailor I showed the defect or small cut to the suit jacket told me it could not be repaired. Tom consulted his head tailor and the tailor spent time with me to explain how he would do his best to correct the problem. I am so happy with result and in my view Tom’s tailor performed magic and at a very nominal cost. I also purchased another suit and the customer service is the best. Tom’s sales team and tailors are top notch and I highly recommend Tom’s place as the best place to buy a quality suit at unbeatable prices in Toronto. Quality, expert tailoring, friendly customer service and all at incredible prices. I”ll never buy another suit unless its from Tom’s place.

My wife and I had an excellent experience working with Sam G. today at Tom’s Place. He was professional, extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable on the various suits available in the store. What stood out most, was how personable he was—he really took the time to listen to what I needed and made the entire process easy and stress-free. He was easy to talk to and I truly appreciated his guidance and expertise, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for outstanding service.

Went to store while on vacation in Toronto. Was interested in a sports jacket size 48 or 50. Sales person who seemed pleasant said all that they had were $600 or more.This was more than I expected. My budget was around $400. I ended up just getting some ties, got a discount from Anett who was also nice. If I am ever back in Toronto I might stop in again, maybe better luck next time.

Thomas the support manager is a very helpful person. We had a 1300$ buy for suites from this location.

He promised to do all alterations and tailoring needed on extra things with the suites.

Aazid the new sales guy there he was very professional and authentic.

Did a great work to make our stuff ready for a friwnds wedding. They were very friendly and helpful.

I do recommend this location. The store has a wide variety of things and the place is very clean

I recently purchased a suit as part of a wedding package and entrusted Tip Top with the initial alterations, including sleeve shortening and pant hemming. Since the shirt was too big I took it to another shop for alternation and they had a look at alternation Tip Top initially did.

Dress Shirt Fit: When I brought the suit in, I was told that my dress shirt fit well and did not need alterations. However, the shirt was actually quite large, and I later had to get the sides tucked in and the sleeves shortened at another shop.

Pant Hemming: The hem was done without any explanation of how different cuts affect the overall look. As a person that don’t normally wear suits, I wasn’t familiar with the different cuts I later learned that tapering the pants would have created a cleaner, more tailored appearance, particularly at the ankle. Had this been communicated, I would have opted for a tapered finish.

Sleeve Shortening: After the alteration, the buttons on the sleeves were misaligned and crooked. Additionally, the original cutouts for the buttons were missing, affecting the overall appearance. It should have been explain that it would probably looked better if the sleeves were tapered. The second tailor noted that the sleeves were still too long, and I had to pay again to have them shortened properly.

I expected a higher level of expertise and guidance, especially from a store that specializes in suits. It would have been helpful if the team had explained different alteration options and their impact on the overall look, rather than simply making the adjustments without any explanation or guidance.

I have been to a couple of these store locations and the service is abysmal at each one. If you are lucky enough to have an employee help you when you walk in, they don't seem very knowledgeable or professional. I ordered a suit and needed a different size of vest. When I left the store I was assured everything is good and they will be in touch soon to confirm the status of my vest. Not only did I not receive any emails or calls. I called the location at least 20 times with no answer and no voicemail option. When someone finally picked up one day I found out the vest hadn't been ordered and nothing had been done about it for 2 weeks. This place may have lower prices but the staff are very unprofessional. Save yourself a headache and suit up somewhere else.

Visited the Market Mall location this evening to return a pair of dress pants. Upon approaching the counter, we was informed by the associate that because we did not have a physical receipt, processing the return would be problematic and could potentially trigger an audit on her end.

After some discussion and going back and forth to clarify the situation, she ultimately agreed to process the return, for which we were genuinely appreciative.

However, the experience took an unfortunate turn. Before we had even exited the store, the associate very noticeably and exaggeratedly tore up the return receipt in front of us. Even more concerning was that she appeared to be openly mocking us about the situation while conversing with another customer nearby.

This behaviour felt rude, especially following what had otherwise been a polite resolution.

Poor service, poorly done alterations, go elsewhere. Bought a suit and the salesman marked up the changes. Had to wait 3 weeks to get the suit back due to grad season, no biggie. Arrive in the evening to try on the alterations. The pants are hemmed 1 inch too high. Salesman adjusts the height tells me to come back tomorrow. I return to the store, try on the pants, they are hemmed right, but the super crease is missing. The sales guy confirms the crease is missing and says it wasn’t on my order. If I would like it done, come back Friday night and they will put it in for $10. I was sure I paid for it, so I check the receipt at home, and I did pay for it, Guess what, I get to go back for the third time. My wife calls to confirm the alterations work Friday evening but apparently they don’t work past 5. Good thing my wife checked but why tell me to come back. My wife went today and showed them the receipt and he is trying to tell here the crease is there. A super crease is very obvious, it’s not there and the person 2 days earlier confirmed it. No mention of doing anything for us for having to make 3 trips for something that’s pretty simple. Not a good store and definitely try on all your alterations double checking that everything was done.

We had a very disappointing experience at Harry Rosen. I visited the store with a friend of mine who is a lawyer , and he was looking to purchase a suit. Unfortunately, the way we were treated by one of the staff members was completely unacceptable.

As my friend was browsing and checking one of the suits, a sales associate approached us in a very disrespectful manner. Without any proper greeting or assistance, he abruptly said, “Oh, this is big for you. Did you check the price?” The way he said it made it clear he was implying we couldn’t afford the items, which was insulting and made us extremely uncomfortable.

We felt judged not by our behavior, but by our appearance. The assumption that we didn’t belong there was clear and deeply offensive. Ironically, the man who spoke to us was also an immigrant, yet he treated us with a level of prejudice that was shocking.

This experience made us leave the store immediately, and I strongly urge Harry Rosen management to train their staff better—especially when it comes to professionalism, respect, and customer service. No one should ever feel humiliated while shopping, no matter who they are or where they come from.

One star is too much. Just left. I went in ready to buy a Canada Goose winter jacket and ask if they could order three more in different colors. Stood there for a few minutes. Nobody looked at me. Nobody talked to me. I'm embarrassed for the employees and management. I learned how to treat customer's better working at Levi's when I was 19. It was truly a pathetic showing. I'll go downtown and get my jackets at the actual store. Don't waste your money with these clowns.

I’ve shopped at Harry Rosen frequently in the past and have purchased around $20,000 worth of clothes between 2016 and 2019. Since then, I’ve gained about 30 pounds from training at the gym, and I came in specifically to get properly re-measured—suits, shirts, trousers—so I could confidently know my sizes across brands for future purchases, including online.

Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating. As soon as I walked in, a very aggressive, fast-talking salesman approached me. I tried to explain clearly why I was there, but he refused to listen. Instead, all he wanted to do was push the Canada Day sale, telling me about 40% and 50% discounts, and insisting he knew my suit size without even taking the time to measure me carefully.

When I tried on a size he claimed was “definitely” right, it was still tight, and he immediately shifted his pitch rather than actually helping me find the correct fit. At no point did he show any interest in understanding that I wasn’t looking to redo my entire wardrobe in two hours—I was there to get the right information so I could be a long-term customer again.

I’m giving two stars only because once you know your fit, Harry Rosen carries excellent, high-quality products you can shop yourself. But I’m removing three stars for the terrible customer service. Instead of building a relationship and potentially earning $20,000–$30,000 more from me over the next few years, this rep chose to act like a hawk chasing a quick commission.

Disappointing experience for a store that’s supposed to be about personal service and expertise.

I had a great experience shopping here. They didn't have the shirt I was looking for in my size but my salesperson, Dimitri, went above and beyond- he offered to order it for me and had it shipped directly to my home... it arrived the very next day. I really appreciated the fast and helpful service. Def going back.

My fiancé and I came in looking for shoes 2 weeks before our wedding. Steve was amazing and so patient with us as my fiancé tried on shoe after shoe. Steve was great at recommending shoes within our price range and at the end he ordered shoes just in time for the big day. You’ll have a very different experience here depending on who helps you. I would recommend that if you shop here, you get the business card of the style advisor you prefer so you can have a more consistent experience. At this level of retail, service should not vary this much. Personally, I’ll save most of my shopping for Montreal at Holt Renfrew, where the customer experience is far more consistent.

Wasn’t impressed. I was watched the whole time without anyone even approaching me. And after kindly asking an associate for help, they were way too pushy and just wanted to sell me on the clothing without asking my opinion. Really disappointing from a brand I’ve long loved.

I just spent 20 minutes walking around the Harry Rosen store. Not one associate asked if I needed any help or assistance. This was my 3rd visit and it has gotten worse each visit. I would advise shopping on line or at a different location. Online would have been more assistance….Worst shopping experience I’ve had shopping anywhere in the world.

We came in looking for a very specific business casual outfit for my partner and had the best experience. The shop owner really knew what sizes and cuts would work and we found the perfect outfit in under 30mins. So happy that we found this place after searching through the mall and the other menswear shop!

We used Mansour's in Dalhousie for our wedding and it was nothing but mistake after mistake. We went in looking for suit rentals for the groomsmen and a custom suit for the groom. The store is a distributor for Collins Clothiers, which is the actual suit rental company. On our first visit, the owner showed us both the catalogue and the swatches from Collins. There was one light brown colour and one dark brown. It was very clear that the browns were switched up - the light brown swatch was labelled as dark brown in the catalogue and vice versa. The owner told us to trust the swatches instead of the catalogue because "the photos can look different" despite us insisting that the colours were switched. That same visit, we looked through swatches for a suit for the groom and they didn't have any burgundy, which was what we wanted. The owner told us he would order some swatches and would call us when they came in. A few weeks later, we still hadn't received a call, so we called the store. The guy said he "lost our number" and that he would order the swatches. As if losing our number prevented him from ordering them in the first place. A week later, he called to let us know he had the swatches. We went in, and there was only one swatch. We didn't like the colour at all but we thought it might look alright if we could use the backside of the material. We asked him if we could and he said he would check for us. He called us back later to let us know that they didn't even have enough of that material to make a suit. At that point we went elsewhere for the groom's suit, he was just wasting our time. That same visit, we ordered the groomsmen's suits, and he showed us another swatch in a different book, and it was the same as the first swatch -- the colours were swapped compared to the catalogue. At this point I was worried that we had ordered the wrong colour so I called Collins directly, and they told me it was a known problem -- the catalogue was correct and the swatches were wrong but they had let all their distributors know so they could switch the swatches. Obviously this guy was oblivious, plus he gave us bad advice telling us to trust the swatches. A week later we get a call telling us we had to come in because he forgot to take the deposit for the suit rentals while we were there so we had to drive way up to the northwest to pay him. The guy said the suits would arrive on Monday or Tuesday (wedding was on Sunday) and that there was guaranteed to be there with enough time for alterations. We let him know that one of our groomsmen lives in Barrie and that he wouldn't be arriving until Saturday. There's a Collins Clothiers close to where he lives so he said that he would have that suit shipped to Barrie so the groomsman could try it on, then if he needed alterations, they could do it there and then ship it to Mansour's so the suit would be here waiting for him. The Monday before the wedding rolls around and all the groomsmen but the one from Barrie have received calls that their suits came in. They went into the shop to try the suits on (one of which fit so poorly that they needed to order a whole new suit for him, so there was no time for alterations and his pants didn't fit right) and one of the groomsmen asked if everyone had been in to try their suits on yet. The shop owner said no, they were still waiting for (name) and (name) to come in. One of those of course being the groomsman that lives in Barrie. He had failed to send the suit to Barrie like he promised. So he sent it to him but by the time it arrived there was no time for alterations so he didn't get to try it on until the morning of the wedding. The measurements were so far off that the pants were six inches short (pic). We tried to call them but they're closed on Sundays. Thank god there was enough hem, we ripped it out ourselves and fixed the pants but it made us late to the ceremony. Plus we only ordered pants, shirts, jackets, and ties but ended up receiving vests and suspenders as well; I get the feeling the owner deliberately did it to upcharge us.

Most incredible customer service I have ever received! I do not typically write reviews however this level of service cannot go unnoticed. I had rented a suit from a company in Ontario for my wedding in Banff and arranged to have it shipped to Mansours in Calgary. We had talked to Mike in advance about business hours and our arrival and he offered to stay open late to make sure we got the suit Friday before our drive to the mountains. Unfortunately we got caught up by the car rental company, we called Mike again to inform him and he was happy to stay open for the 2.5hours extra it took us to get there! Unbelievable! His only concern when we arrived was that the suit had everything I was expecting and that it was to my satisfaction. It was absolutely my pleasure working with Mansours and I cannot speak my praises loud enough. Thank you so much for the help Mike!

The owner is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He even came in when they were closed on Sunday to get everything sorted out the day of the wedding and again on Heritage Day so I could return my rental suit before the work week started. Highly recommend.

Wedding planning can be incredibly stressful.

The folks at Moore’s North Hill made that experience so much easier for me and my groomsmen. Jasmeen in particular! She made the suit rental process easy to understand, and it really felt like she took time to make sure my groomsmen got the right fit. Her suggestions for colour and style were on-point but she never over stepped what I wanted overall.

Thank you so much for taking that weight off my shoulders. My wife and I both appreciate it tremendously!

About a month ago, I contacted the store to inquire about the fitting process for a small wedding party. We were informed that only one to two individuals could be accommodated per appointment. While this wasn’t ideal for our group of three, we booked a fitting for two, hoping we might be able to schedule back-to-back appointments to include everyone. Unfortunately, we were told that would not be possible.

We arrived for our 1:00 PM fitting with three of us total—one of whom is my brother and who has cerebral palsy (hence hoping to do three people), and the other who had driven in from Edmonton to assist with suit selection. Our fitting ran until 2:00 PM. During that time, the store was empty and no other bookings were scheduled for the rest of the day. Despite this, we were told—rather abruptly and rudely—that only two of us could participate. I found the manager’s handling of the situation unnecessarily rigid and unaccommodating.

That said, I want to acknowledge that the rest of the staff we interacted with were professional, friendly, and helpful.

While I understand the need for certain policies, I believe great customer service includes the ability to exercise discretion—particularly when accessibility is involved and no scheduling conflicts are present.

I contacted Moores Listens for clarification of fitting policy and was informed this was a store by store policy and not universal for Moores. Such a shame that one person ruined what should have been a fun experience.

To summarize DO NOT go to his store for a fitting.

We received an exceptionally great service from Jack at the Northill Mall Moores. Even though we were not buying their most expensive garments, Jack went above and beyond to accomodate our time sensitive needs. I can't express enough our admiration with professionalism of Jack and his team. It will be our store to go for my husband and 3 sons from now on. Thank you!

On September 16, 2025 I arrived at the Crowfoot location looking for a suit rental.....which was not going to happen with my timeline (my fault....I should have gone earlier).

My go to guy became Matt who greeted me and told me my timeline to rent was impossible. However, he wouldn't let me leave until he confirmed that I was too late. I was sooooo desperate to get something because I was being forced to go to a wedding against my will....hence my willingness to stay.

Matt solidly confirmed that the suit rental was not going to happen, which made me feel happy because I wouldn't have to go to the wedding, but he refused to give up. He pointed out a Tuxedo sale which would get me into something appropriate for the venue and my heart sank. He also brought my attention to the $25 discount going on for purchases over $125 and that made things feel better.

This guy is like "Google Suits" cause I had no intention on leaving with a tuxedo plus a snazzy wallet, yet I did! I gave him all my parameters and he came through like a magician.

Downside....I must attend the wedding especially now that I have a tuxedo. Upside....there is going to be no drama with my significant other and I really like the wallet too!

Went in to purchase 3 suits for a new job. I was helped by Matt and he was an excellent assistant throughout the whole process. He was clearly knowledgable about suit styles, why to go for one over the other, how to mix it with shirts to get different styles, how to make sure I have a proper fit, the list goes on. Got tailoring done and everything was perfect as well. Overall he was an amazing help and I highly recommend requesting his assistance if you are shopping here.

Spend $600 on a suit then I'm expected to take off 25 tags and when I returned to say im having trouble and the suit sleeve has material pulled out because im not a trailer, the other sales rep laughed at me to himself that I was obviously frustrated.
Yeah it was very funny that I couldn't go to the event as the suit not being ready to wear. Glad my frustration made him happy!

First bad experience in any of the many stores I have visited, the manager store name Clemente took my neck measure and told the girl was helping me that I have a big neck, obviously I know that trivia fact about me but damn I’m pretty sure between employees they can use numbers instead of what it feels like body shaming specially if people had physical insecurities.
But the rest of the shopping experience was top notch as usual.

Shrey was great! Very knowledgeable and helpful. I got there for the store open and everything was quick and easy and they made the pants alterations right away for me!
