I came to Empire Customs in order to purchase a suit for an upcoming friend’s wedding, on another friend’s recommendation. What I came to experience was the most professional and welcoming menswear shops I’ve ever been in.

Caitlin accommodated my schedule, took my measurements and helped me choose the perfect fabric and lining. The initial delivery was swift, and adjustments were minimal. The result is, by a mile, the best looking and well-fitted suit I own, with accompanying dress shirt, vest and tie. At the wedding, it was all anyone could talk about.

I could not recommend Empire highly enough, the best price/service/quality custom suits in the city, I’ve already scheduled my second visit and can’t wait to experiment with new fabrics and patterns!

When we started looking for a venue for our wedding, many other places we contacted gave us boilerplate service, some even forgetting about our scheduled meetings. This was not the case when it came to Entrepots Dominion. Alexandre runs the show and was friendly and collaborative from our first contact with him. We easily arranged a meeting to go over what l'Entrepot could offer. We were impressed with the candor and professionalism shown by Alex as he guided us through the process of putting together the wedding of our dreams. He remained realistic and focused on achieving our goals and was able to connect us to his trusted vendors. All of his recommendations, including rentals, catering & DJ service were able to provide a great wedding packages at very competitive prices. Whatever questions we had, Alex had an answer. I don't think we ever heard his voicemail message because he answered the phone every time we needed to contact him. Though you don't expressly need to take on Alex as your coordinator, the guy is an event planning machine and someone you'll want on your team when you're trying to make sure everything is exceptional for the big day. Our entire guestlist raved about the food, bartending, service, music and staff professionalism. We had a schedule down to 5 minute intervals and Alex kept us on pace the entire night so nothing we planned for was missed and everything flowed smoothly. It all came out exactly as we wanted and we have to credit Alexandre and Entrepot Dominion for helping us craft a day we'll never forget.

Wonderful experience with tux rental for a wedding. Normally i struggle with suit fits and need much adjusting but this tux was great out the gate based on the initial measurements taken. Mehdi was wonderful before and during the rental period, great customer service. I got many compliments on the quality and fit of the tux. I will definitely come back!

Unfortunately, a very very unfriendly attitude and does not apologize when making mistakes. I often left his store feeling frustrated majority of the time (either him complaining about my alteration asks or giving me hard time for needing my dry cleaning back sooner than a full week). After the final not-so-good interaction, I've decided to take my business elsewhere which is unfortunate as the location was very convenient. I hope this feedback helps for future customers.

I cannot say enough good things about Garrison. My wife and I were on an expedited timeline as a result of me being diagnosed with cancer, and my brothers and I needed suits we could be proud of for our special day. After trying a few mid-level suit shops who couldn’t work with our timeline, I walked into Garrison, knowing they were very well regarded. Justin greeted me at the door, and after explaining our situation, he committed to making things work and ensured we would get our fully tailored suits on time. Their fitting and measurement process was seamless, and they moved things around when needed to make sure we could make all of our appointments, even with people coming out of province. They were so accommodating and empathetic, and even stayed late on several occasions to make sure everything was perfect. The suits were all fantastic (middle three guys in the photo) and comfortable, and held up despite some rigorous dancing. If you’re looking for a great suit, and an even greater experience, go with Garrison.

Garrison consistently delivers impeccable styling and great fitting suits. Over the years I've been very happy with the service, flexibility and advice.

We didn’t feel comfortable nor welcome here. Our consultant barely showed us any fabrics before pressuring us to make a decision. She wasn’t very knowledgeable about the fabrics and couldn’t even answer where the wool was sourced from. She didn’t ask any questions about what my fiancé was looking for and didn’t make any recommendations. During the middle of the consultation, she left us and started helping other customers, leaving us clueless looking at the fabrics, which was very unprofessional.

We didn’t have a hard set budget but she acted as if we couldn’t afford anything else and was very reluctant to show us anything more, even when my fiancé asked.

Speaking as an absolute amateur in the world of bespoke fashion, I couldn't have asked for a better experience in getting a custom wedding suit.

I worked directly with Justin, who did a masterful job of interpreting my vision and using his experience and style to bring my ideas to life - which was no small feat as I wanted to combine looks of Old Money, Peaky Blinders and Yellowstone, all while ensuring my look complimented that of my wonderful bride.

The entire Garrison team helped me feel comfortable, appreciated and respected through the entire process. Their communication (specifically Justin's) was always timely, professional and vibey. They delivered on time, and their work made me look leaner, meaner and more polished than I could have ever hoped to look!

These guys are pros, and thanks to them, I managed to also leave my bride speechless during our first look.

What an amazing place. Employees know exactly what they are doing. If you need a new suit, not only do they have amazing prices, they are also professional, courteous, and friendly making your shopping a unique experience. My fiance ended up using their amazing two suit deal and purchased his groom suit as well as a fun blue suit for other occasions.

Their suits are made-to-measure, using high quality fabric, and every customization you can possibly think of. Simple yet complicated questions asked by staff are used to create your unique suit to your taste and standards.

We had a lovely experience working with Indochino at the Rideau Centre. They were kind, and so helpful. We had suits made for the groom, father and brother of the bride, and the groomsmen.

The staff at Indochino were awesome to work with, particularly with my brother who has a disability and required some extra accommodations. Fab at Indochino worked with my brother and I was very touched by the patience and respect offered to my brother, they made him feel very special and I'm still hearing him talk about this experience months later.

Avoid at all costs.

You’re better off buying from Alibaba express, DHgate, or any other made in China website, they’re made at one of those types of manufacturing facilities in China anyway. The quality of their suits is not even close to what they market. For a wedding party where matching suits were ordered they made one of the group members suits with the wrong lapels. Inexcusable. Taylor does not listen to instructions and suit came ill fitting. Seems are loose, loose threads everywhere. The suits are packaged in what some may call a pizza box and arrive filthy with factory debris.

Uodate on my review below. I ordered about 3 weeks ago. They told me it was taking longer these days for delivery. Exepct 5-6 weeks, was what I was told. Well under 4 weeks and today I received my order. The pants and vest fit perfectly. The suit jacket needs a minor adjustment, but the store had said they do itt there when required. Overall first impression is it looks good, fits great. I have added pics of how package arrived.

This review is for the booking, selection, and fitting for a new suit. Overall it was an easy process, although they could have explained it better. They ask you what type of collar you want and types of pockets. Take the time to show me, this is all new and I don't know what is what between collars or pocket styles. In my next review I will show off the results of my visit, with the new suit, once it is delivered.

Don't forget this store is a made to order suit store, and it does take 4 to 6 weeks before yiu get delivery, so plan ahead, or choose off the rack somewhere else if you are in a huŕry.

We took our newly adopted Pom to Jenny. His coat needed some serious attention and we weren’t sure how he would handle grooming. Jenny was so good with him, the haircut looked amazing, and our boy is so much happier and more confident. For the amount of work needed, the price was reasonable. I would recommend Jenny and the salon in general to anyone looking for an stress-free grooming experience for pet and owner alike!

It was the first time taking my large husky to a professional groomer. He can be reactive around other dogs so I’ve always been hesitant about the whole experience. The team at Juju Grooms really put my mind at ease and accomodated his needs. Becky was also incredible with King. Thank you so much!!!

Juju is phenomenal! I was initially skeptical because, in my country, I’ve always been present with my cats during grooming. This was a first for both me and my cats, as we wouldn’t see each other during the grooming process (ways of the West!). But my cats came back well-groomed, clean, refreshed, and without any signs of stress! I’m so glad to have found Juju for my cats’ grooming needs!

Groomer Kate really does the most amazing Bichon haircut. We loved both the longer winter haircut and the shorter spring cut she has done for our Bichon so far. Best groomer we have found for our dog! And he loves her!

Just had my suit tailored from King and Rook. Customer service was superb. Kevin has spent nearly four hours from first consultation to final fitting with me and he has provided many valuable suggestions over the overwhelming choices of customization - in a good way. Needlessly to say, the suit is one-of-a-kind fit to my body and I plan on making a future purchase again. Delivery time was above and exceeded my expectation - I got my 3-piece suit with a custom shirt all within four weeks. Exceptional experience overall.

While in Montreal I found this daycare and really loved the reviews. I took Lenny there and he really enjoyed himself. He told me that for the white shirt he would call me back by Wednesday at the latest and that he would have it pressed for me, so take it to wear. My event is today, Saturday!!! 8 days later!!! I arrived in a panic because 1. he never called me back and 2. the shirt is still in its bag, unwashed and unpressed... So A1 service on the first visit, but the second he got your money, he's making fun of you!!

Steeling Home, in downtown Calgary, is such a charming store. They have a really fun selection of hats — like one that says “This actually is my first rodeo” and others with cute bears and quirky messages.

Beyond that, the shop is full of original items: kitchenware (aprons, spoons, plates, mugs), souvenirs, stickers, clothes, jewelry and accessories. Honestly, they have a little bit of everything.

It’s a chic boutique with lots of character and truly unique things you won’t find anywhere else. If you’re in Calgary, this store is an absolute must-visit — you’re guaranteed to find something that makes you smile.

One of the CUTEST gift shops of all time. I loved shopping in Steeling Home. I came because of the great google reviews and bought so much because of the adorable and funny selection of items. Steeling Home has their shit together, it is a MUST VISIT while in Calgary. The ladies working were so kind. The shop's selection of local designs is excellent.

Best place to get gifts and souvenirs...lots of unique and cool things to choose from. Super cute stationary and kitchen stuff, amazing greeting card collection, planters, puzzles, mugs, books, journals, candles, aesthetic decor, jewellery, stampede things, funny socks, carpets. I always find something which I didn't even know I'd like so much haha. Go to the store, website doesn't have all the items listed. Prices are on high end, but definitely worth it for a few things which you don't find anywhere else in the city.

Found it a bit on the pricey side—noticed a few items that are available for less elsewhere. That said, the staff was really sweet and the collection is lovely.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE -
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a clothing store – and it happened right before my wedding.

I honestly can’t believe this is how a suit shop – especially one handling formal wear for such an important event – treats its customers. JOHNSON’s (MANAGER) attitude was incredibly unprofessional and dismissive, and his team clearly lacked coordination and basic customer service skills.

We came in to pick up a tuxedo package and were shocked at how disorganized and understaffed the place was. It took over an hour just to get started because the assistant was too busy juggling other customers.

When we finally got to the last step, the advisor simply walked away to help someone else – without a word. After waiting another 20 minutes, we politely asked for assistance again, and his response was basically, “I’m busy.” No apology, no explanation.

We then asked for the manager, Johnson, hoping to get some proper help. That made things even worse. Instead of addressing the issue, he became defensive and argumentative. He flat-out refused to assign another advisor, even though we had been waiting nearly 90 minutes at that point. His solution? He told us we were “welcome to walk out if we didn’t like it.”
I would strongly advise anyone planning for a wedding or important event to avoid this place at all costs. The stress and frustration they caused at such a special time were unacceptable.

Dealt with Adam, he has been amazing from start to finish, truly a professional in fashion and suits. Veteran of his craft, was able to pick color, size and style instantly and on first guess. Suits supply was able to accommodate all of our deadlines and provide the tailoring within a quick and professional time. Super happy with the service and quality will definitely be back!

She went through so many different styles, types and colours of fabric; she helped me with a personal monogram; she even spent real time assisting me on the choice of buttons.

Christopher is the best. While salespeople often make me feel pressure or uncomfortable - Christopher is the opposite. He's relaxed, competent and generous. In 30 minutes he helped me finish my outfit and had great input/ideas. His attention to detail and general level of competence is very high. With him I feel that I'm in good hands. I will be back!

Just moved to Toronto so I came to check this place out looking for a new barber. I was told they just opened 3 months ago and they already seemed really busy. That atmosphere and Decour is nice and so are the guys that work there. I went there to get a haircut and my beard trimmed. The guy that was cutting my hair was fairly new as a barber and to be honest you could tell. He was a little nervous and took his time. He took direction very well and I’m happy to say it turn out pretty good. I did have to make a couple of small touchups around the ears and under my chin but overall I was satisfied and like the way my hair turn out.

Can't even take 5 to 15 minutes just to cut my side hair and half the people who booked is not here and its just a 5 minute to 15 minutes long I would honestly go to a different haircut place that will take in people even if they are booked and half of the people to booked is not here.

Sophie was incredibly helpful and so welcoming. She really treats you like family. I had taken an old family ring to another jeweller, who said they couldn’t do anything and it would be best to get a new ring. Sophie understood the sentimental value and the ring turned out exactly as I had envisioned it. Incredible customer service!

She listened to our wants and needs. She was very respectful towards our budget and didn't try to sell us on getting something more. Went to The Wedding Jewellers after reading reviews and not happy with the service we were getting from some other Ottawa big store jewellers that were not that interested since we didn't have a big budget for two rings. I called and spoke to Sophie and made an appointment to visit the same day and really glad I did. Sophie discussed our budget and showed us many rings that were well within our budget. We had a hard decision which ring to choose and finally decided on two rings. Sophie was very helpfully in guiding us through the whole process and since we were getting married in a few weeks, contacted the supplier to ensure they were sent by courier to arrive a few days before our wedding.

Also be aware that they are located in an industrial park so the savings in rent could be passed to their customers.

I purchased a name plaque and a custom Father's Day mug. Things Engraved were very attentive to my requests (font, sizing) and provided a mock picture through email for confirmation before anything was processed. I really appreciated this because it gave me the visual and I was able to make additional changes if needed. The products where shipped immediately and arrived in 2 days (amazing!). They were packed with care and looked exactly like the pictures provided through email. Communication with this company has been fantastic. Overall great experience, highly recommend, and I will continue to purchase from them.

They have the best communication skills! I love that you can talk to a real person online. They were incredibly responsive and extremely detailed and kind! Even with such a small order, they treated me with such respect and professionalism. I was able to do everything online via email, which was very convenient for me. I was pleasantly surprised to see that things engraved still had an online platform. I had to use them a few times when they had storefront but I hadn’t seen them around in a while. When I reached out to somebody via email they contacted me back quite quickly and communication always went smooth. I sent them my idea And almost immediately they had sent me a mock up. Once I agreed on a design they sent me a payment link and that was it my order was done. It shipped out pretty promptly and was delivered with in just a few days.
