I had an excellent weekend here, but there were some points that I got hung up on, that I'll address in the order they occured.
-My reserved parking space was taken up by a gigantic SUV from Tennessee. I parked on the street for a while, dropping off my bag, emailing the host (because there was no phone contact option) then went to visit some friends. By the time I left their place to return to my hotel, the host has replied to me and gave me a new and arguably slightly better parking space.
-The shower head, upon first use, had pretty bad pressure. It looked like most of the individual sprayers were clogged with lime. I unclogged them by hand myself, but they could stand to take better care of the shower nozzles.
-Though the room came with free wifi, no wifi password was evident anywhere in the suite. Fine, I didn't really need it, but I've been other places where its far more obvious.
-The robes and towels were of a relatively small size. I made due, but would have liked it if there was an option for anything other than a Large.
-The suite included a washing machine and several detergent pods (the kind with a chunk of powder and two colored goos) and the green goo has been extracted from each and every one. Odd.
-In addition, the dishwasher didn't have any obvious method of turning on and none of the buttons seemed to work.
All this said, I acknowledge that much of it did not actually impact my experience. The kitchen has as well stocked, the complementary coffee was delicious, and I was never anything but extremely comfortable. While I hope my concerns are seen and addressed, for the price, the convenience and the comfort, I'd stay here again happily.

The best B & B we have been to. Friendly, welcoming & fun place to stay. Jamie’s breakfasts will be missed. A fantastic cook. Cabbagetown is a great multicultural area with plenty to see & do as well as many great places to dine. It is also walking distance to the centre of town. Jamie & Allan were perfect hosts. We will miss their humour, great suggestions of places to explore & of course how at home they made us feel.

Very nice stay. Jamie the host was so kind and friendly. He knows well the area so was very helpful to give us tips on what to visit and where to eat. Room downstairs was very clean and comfortable. Well located in a cute neighbourhood. I would book here again next time I visit Toronto.

This was by far one of the best b&b s that we stayed at , great location ,a quiet street w trees , a very friendly host Jamie was the best , very good cook ill miss your poached eggs , very comfortable room ,Jamie was very helpful with info to get around the city, and very good company. Jamie told us how to get around this beautiful city{Toronto},all in all this was a great place to stay and visit we had a great trip, thank you Jamie, I wd definitely recommend a stay at A Seaton Dream a perfect B&B

An amazing Bed and Breakfast in Toronto. We had a great time interacting with Alan and he made us some great eggs benedict and waffles for breakfast! We could not have wished for a better place to stay!

This clean & attractive bed & breakfast is situated nicely within walking distance to the Eaton Centre & Distillery District & more. On a quiet street, the owner Jamie is kind & accomodating. Spacious bathroom, very comfortable bed, & Jamie makes a delicious breakfast! I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

I'm staying here for the second year in a row! This time I was with a company of friends, we rented the whole house, and it was fabulous! The two rooms on the upper level have a huge jetted tub and shower, large comfortable beds with crisp white linens and towels! The three rooms on the lower level are smaller, but very cozy, each with its own fridge, TV, and bathroom. What more could you want? There's a spacious shared kitchen, pool table, fireplace, lounge area, hot tub and bbq!
And an absolutely amazing view of the river!
This place is magical, we will come back here again and again!😍

Book a two night vacation here on a whim, and I'm glad I did. The area was so nice and peaceful and the views along the river are very nice.
The staff had great communication and the room was very clean.
Only a 20 minute walk to the CF Market Mall is an excellent bonus too. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet area that's near HWY 1 to Banff.

We had high hopes for this stay. My husband and I were looking for a chill NYE so we booked this room for a night because it had the jacuzzi. We had the Queen room. Overall it was pleasant but likely won’t be coming back.

We loved the amenities of the room, like fireplace, the jacuzzi, skylight and steam shower. It was clean and spacious. The price was right too.

The reason it’s not a five star review is because of the following:

- we could not get enough hot water to really use the jacuzzi with the jets. There was someone in the king room next door and so we were battling for the hot water our entire stay
- not enough hot water for the steam shower
- the jacuzzi jets were not clean. When we turned them on a bunch of stuff came out. The host said it was hardened water but it didn’t seem like it. Sounds like they don’t clean them enough
- walls in the queen room are quite thin, you can hear everything
- the chain in the toilet loosened and wouldn’t flush properly but we just fixed that ourselves

We reported all of these to the host via text and didn’t get very compassionate responses. It was clear they were not going to help us.

So if the above doesn’t bother you, it’s an excellent stay and I would highly recommend!

This place was absolutely lovely and felt like they had thought of every little detail. Everything was clean, classy and cozy. The jacuzzi was lovely, bed was comfy and there was a nice assortment of little breakfast items/drinks available. The only confusing part was parking (it had snowed and the three spots were full.) I would love to spend another night there when we have the chance.

Beautiful location right next to the bike trail. The river runs directly behind the house. You can sit outside and enjoy the water and sunshine. The rooms are great and the house is well maintained. We stayed in the largest suite. Very nicely decorated, roomy and comfortable with its own balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

The overall experience was great. Checking in and leaving was so easy. The room and en-suite bathroom were very spacious and the house itself was beautiful. The location was great for accessing downtown, riverside walks, and the byward market.

Breakfast was okay. They provided a pretty sparse continental breakfast. I always love the B&B’s that provide a home cooked meal- so this was a little disappointing.

The windows in the bedroom didn’t open which made the room quite stuffy and hot. They did have a fan, but it still would have been great to let some of the lovely cooler weather in.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ambassador! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. What truly made our experience special was our host, Mya she was incredibly welcoming, kind, and thoughtful throughout our visit. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Thank you, Mya, for being such an amazing host. It was truly our pleasure staying here! We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The house is beautiful. It is old but has a lot of charm. The communication with the host was very good and she was extremely accommodating and helpful. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and very close to downtown and Parlament. It is the second time coming here and we will come back

Overall our experience here was just okay. We arrived around 6PM and we were greeted by the owners teen daughter. She showed us to our room and it was rather awkward. In terms of the room and amenities, they are nothing to write home about. The bathroom was not very clean and there were a lot of small dead bugs on the ceilings. In addition, you can hear every movement in the house, as well as people talking outside, because the walls are so thin. The breakfast was good, definitely the best part of our stay. In the end, we really wanted to like this place but the hospitality is lacking, as was the coziness and cleanliness you would expect for a B&B. Unless you get a really good deal on staying here (less than 75$/ night), I would sooner go to a hotel nearby.

My wife and I had a 5-star stay here, and experienced wonderful service from Irina, who fixed a filling breakfast each morning and provided outstanding advice on seeing the sights. The B&B is in a safe & clean residential area of downtown Ottawa, within walking distance to many embassies, Parliament, museums, restaurants, and shopping. And, it is a great value, as well, especially considering the free parking.

Australis Bed and Breakfast is a clean, quiet, and ideally located place to stay with great hosts and delicious breakfast. The hosts made me feel like I was staying at a good family home. They were very friendly, polite, helpful and warm. The room had all you needed at a great location for an excellent price. If I have to return to Ottawa, I will look to stay at this place again.

A real gem of a guest house - it felt like a home away from home! Great location on a quiet street, clean and cosy, with a fantastic home cooked breakfast. Carol and Brian are incredible hosts and go above and beyond in welcoming you and sharing Ottawa recommendations.

Carol and Brian are perfect hosts. The room I used is very large and with a study available, the bathroom is very large and very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked with love.
Carol and Brian are kind, respectful and nice and made us feel at home.

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and so warmhearted!
They really helped me with my plans for visiting the city and took great care of me and were very interested in my plans.
I had a very tasty breakfast on both days.

We are so pleased with our experience at the Australia Guest House.

We stayed two nights since we had an appointment at the Venezuelan embassy, and honestly, it was super convenient for us since it’s about 4 minutes away.

Carol and Brian made us feel at home with their hospitality. We had a terrific breakfast with homemade biscuits 🤤😋

This stay has been absolutely perfect.
I stayed with my friend, and we didn't have many expectations when we booked this place.
Rita was absolutely perfect! Her house is not only clean and comfortable, but could model for magazines because of how beautiful it is. The rooms are decorated, Rita is quite the collector and the house has a very special atmosphere!
The breakfasts are hosted on her magical balcony, she makes fantastic food, and even asked us in advance for our preferences and adjusted herself accordingly.
The location is great, and easy to transport to other parts of the city via walking or metro.
To sum up - phenomenal. Would definitely book again.

Rita and Dan were fabulous hosts. They made us feel welcome from the start. Our first morning, Rita brought us our breakfast on their lovely deck surrounded by plants and flowers. I was in disbelief of what great food she prepared. Seriously, I got way more than I thought I could eat but ate it anyway. There was only one other guest that we ate together with while we were there who was traveling for business and had some lovely chats. Rita gave us her suggestion for Montréal bagels and you know answered a few questions we had, but on top of it was very nice and charming to speak with. The rooms were cozy. Ours had a sink in the room and the bathroom was right outside our door. I couldn't hear anyone, the guests were very respectful and quiet. Next winter trip to Montréal I'll definitely book a room again, Rita said she'd help me to get over my ice skating fears :)

Had a great stay with Rita and Dan, who were good hosts. Breakfast was AMAZING! Location was great as well. Saint Henri is the cutest little neighborhood with tons to do, all within walking distance. Be sure to check out Atwater Market.
I stayed in two different rooms throughout my stay. Both were good. The second was a bit more spacious and organized. Both had A/C window units, which was a must in the city heat. The common areas do not have A/C.
The common bathroom is shared between three rooms, which could mean up to six people. There were times when I had to wait, which was inconvenient but not the end of the world.
Would highly recommend Gite L'Imprevu and hope to visit again sometime.

Rita and Dan are very down to earth caring and attentive hosts. The rooms and shared bathroom were kept very clean and Rita and Dan always wanted to make sure you had everything you needed. Breakfast was fantastic every day and eating breakfast and interacting with other guests was a very enjoyable part of the experience. I felt very safe and comfortable all the time and location was excellent. Parking on the street is free out front and we left our car there for the days we stayed and just paid for a 3 day metro pass to get us to everywhere we needed. In addition to breakfast, Rita always made sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. You won't get the care and kindness like this at your standard hotels or air bnbs so we highly recommend.

Rita and Dan are great hosts. It is a pleasure to talk to them and they do their best to help the visitors to enjoy their stays. I was in Montreal for a conference and had a great time at L'imprevu.
Breakfasts are just great! Rooms are very nice and clean and so is the shared bathroom. The have a wonderful garden with an incredible amount of different plants.

A truly wonderful stay! The room was clean and tidy, and the beautiful backyard, full of greenery, with ripe apples and a charming vegetable garden, offered a peaceful place to relax. Ms. Li’s radiant smile and her son, the young host, provided us with excellent service. All in all, everything was just perfect.

Friendly host with patient and kind guidance, meanwhile has great taste in massage, yoga, painting and calligraphy, very nice to chat with her :)

The Asian woman has a very gentle and beautiful smile, I looked out the window in the morning, she was doing yoga, and there was a kind and calm dog nearby, lying on the grass. Breakfast is cozy. I recommend...this place is very good.

We are so glad we found this place in 2007. We keep coming back ever since, if we need a place to stay in Calgary. You can count on very clean rooms, great location and a fantastic host. It is always so pleasant to spend time with Kelly at his B&B, meet other people and share meals and stories. This is our home away from home! We look forward to our next stay. This past summer my partners grandparents came to visit us. Feeling a bit humble about the lack of room in our home we recommended the Hughes House, which is operated by our friendly neighbour Kelly. We had seen his lovely old character rooms when we were invited to one of his community potlucks, and we thought it would be a very comfortable place for them to stay. Of course their visit coincided exactly with the Calgary Stampede and there wasn't a bed available in town, let alone the downtown core where we live. When our grandparents contacted Kelly he was totally booked, but when he heard that they were our grandparents coming for a rare visit, he decided he would put together his auxiliary room despite how hectic things were. When we went to go greet them, we found them sitting on the porch with Kelly laughing over a glass of wine.
We are so grateful for our neighbour Kelly. Not only does he operate of wonderful Bed & Breakfast, but he is a good man and a great neighbour. Every community should have a Kelly!

I've been in Calgary on business many times, and this time around decided to try a B&B. I was not disappointed with the experience. The house itself is a big beautiful Edwardian home with some really great details like heated floors in the bathrooms. The owner, Kelly, is a top notch gentleman - quick with recommendations on great places to go and always greeting us with a smile and sometimes even a song on the gorgeous piano in the living room. For those who, like me, get a little homesick for their pets, there's even a sweet little canine companion called Blanco. Make sure you scratch his ears for me (Blanco's, not Kelly's). I will definitely be making Hughes House my #1 choice when I stay in Calgary.

My first and best stop in Calgary. Kelly's House was the perfect stop for me after leaving my family to seek new adventures in Calgary. My void was instantly filled staying here. Warm, friendly, interactive and everything one needs away from home. I am still in touch with some of the people I met at Kelly's House.
I do not call it a Bed and Breakfast but my favourite uncle's place. Kelly rocks!

Our planned accommodation for a week in Inglewood fell through at short notice so we were delighted to receive a warm welcome from Valinda when we enquired at the Inglewood Bed and Breakfast.
Our room was very nicely presented, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed chatting with Valinda and Helmut over a delicious breakfast each morning and we appreciated their many kind gestures eg allowing us to keep our cycles in a safe place, welcoming our small grandson when he dropped by, and taking us to the airport.
The location is perfect in a nice tree lined street very close to Inglewood Village and the river path. We will not hesitate to stay here again when visiting our Inglewood family.

Clean and spacious rooms for a comfortable stay.
Close to vibrant 9th Ave, and only a 15 min. walk to downtown.
Host Valinda graciously provided us with a bag breakfast for our early morning departure. Highly recommended!

The best part of this hotel is the staff—they are exceptionally friendly and helpful! The valet service is excellent, and the rooms are spacious. The team truly listens to their guests’ needs. Breakfast was also good, offering a variety of options for a quick and satisfying start to the day. The hotel is in a great area, just minutes from the old town, making the location perfect for exploring.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Montreal. The location can’t be beat, walking distance to all major attractions , restaurants and shopping. The staff is ever smiling and helpful. They upgraded us to a family suite which was more like an apartment- great space for our family of four. Good continental breakfast too- although it can get pretty crowded after 8:30 - and great views from the rooftop terrace. Highly recommend it.

A truly uplifting experience during our 3-day stay at this facility. The front desk staff were exceptionally courteous, friendly and professional. Our rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfectly situated for walking around in old Montreal where we could indulge in exquisite Vietnamese food in restaurants right next door! There were a multitude of family events occurring at the time of our visit. Every moment was a treasured experience and delight for us. We would highly recommend this hotel to others

We enjoyed a 6 day stay! The front desk, housekeeping staff were courteous, friendly and professional. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was within 15 minutes walking distance to old Montreal. We walked everywhere-Old Port, indoor market, museums, Chinatown and the Basilica. We were so fortunate that the Jazz festival was taking place every night of our visit. We were close to shopping and the underground city. This hotel had it all- the location, the amenities and the friendly staff. Can’t go wrong! We would highly recommend this hotel to others and we would gladly stay here again. The staff was outstanding!
The location can't be beat, so close to so many sights, bars, restaurants, and shopping.
The room was large, clean, and quiet. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. The daily breakfast was a plus as well. It's continental so don't expect cooked to order meals but the spread is nice. I would stay here again on my next visit to Montreal.

My original accommodations cancelled on me last minute, and I ended up booking a bed in a shared dorm room here at M Montreal for a solo business trip.

It was awesome!

This was my first experience in shared accommodations (shared dorm with bunk beds), so I was a bit nervous, but the whole experience was fantastic! I honestly found my top bunk bed extremely cozy.

Loved: location, vibes at the hotel, facilities (rooftop, bathrooms, hangout spaces), affordability, inexpensive café breakfast, curtains & cubbies in the bunk bed.

There are a variety of travelers, including many young people, but also older people as well. I enjoyed chatting with various people in the room + common areas about their travels. It’s a lively and youthful vibe overall, but everyone is respectful, felt completely safe, and I slept soundly.

No complaints whatsoever. I will almost definitely stay here again the next time I visit Montreal.

Love this hostel. The dorm beds are sturdy so you won’t feel other people moving. Works great for light sleepers like me. Excellent location too. In my 3 nights stay i never had to take the transit. Staff are amazing and helpful! They provide towel (unlike other hostels) but you have to bring your own lock and toiletries. And i love the rooftop jacuzzis.

I stayed here recently and was not disappointed with my choice. The staff was super friendly. My room was comfortable and extremely clean. There are laundry facilities. The neighborhood is lively with lots of things to do. It's a short walk to the Berri-UQAM metro making it easy to get anywhere in the city in a short time. There is an IGA marche on St Catherine if you need anything. I am a solo traveler and felt super safe. Zero complaints.

Very clean room! Love the fact they have curtain to make sure people have privacy in the shared dorm. Very nice rooftop patio with 2 hot tubs and great view. Location is unbeatable, close to most of the things that Montreal has to offer for a first time visitor like me. I stayed 10 days and had an unbelievably great time in the city.

Con: This hostel doesn't feel particularly social. But the people in the city are open and friendly enough for me to ignore this...

I booked this hostel at the last minute — I hadn’t really planned this vacation or the long weekend. But from the very beginning, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness at the reception. The interior design was also quite nice.

The staff were very polite and kind. They offer various activities to keep guests entertained, so it’s easy to meet people and not feel bored. There’s also helpful information about the city, including a map showing cultural spots and estimated travel or walking times — that was really useful.

And the biggest bonus? The rooftop jacuzzi! I didn’t even know it existed until I noticed a lot of people heading to the 5th floor. I decided to check it out — and there it was.

Honestly, everything was great. I’m not even sure what they could improve. Excellent experience !

Fantastic stay at McGee's Inn! The building is lovely and extremely well-cared for. Our room was comfy, clean and cozy (we stayed in the Victorian Room on the third floor). I was pleasantly surprised at how well the A/C worked given being on the third floor in the summer time, the temperature stayed very comfortable and I appreciated we could control it as well.

Parking is only $10 and on site which was very convienient. The breakfast here is INCREDIBLE. The crepes were the best I've ever had (see photo), and the omelette very well done as well. The service was spectacular, everyone was so friendly. Walking distance from many of the Ottawa sights and in a beautiful historic neighbourhood with lots of historical houses. Do not think twice about booking here - we will absolutely stay again next time we are in town.

I have never stayed in an inn before because I thought it wouldn’t be good but wow I have been proven wrong with this place.

The staff is very friendly because my flight was very delayed and they allowed me check in over the phone. My bag was delayed by day the staff left me note about how to get from them.

The breakfast is homemade plus freshly made which is huge benefit in my opinion.

I would stay here again in heart beat and would recommend it.

Of all the places we stayed during our family roadtrip in Canada, this was my favorite. We stayed in the family bedroom and had a cot to accommodate both kids. Since we also had access to the living room downstairs, there was plenty of space for us.
Check-in was easy, parking on-site was invaluable, there's a grocery store down the block, the area is quiet but within walking distance to Parliament, the National Museum of Art, the cathedral, and Byward Market -- all of which we walked to visit in one day. The owner and staff both struck up lovely conversations and made us feel the most welcome of anywhere we stayed. They also held our luggage after check-out so we could explore the city without leaving luggage in the car. I can't recommend this place enough and was SO glad we found it.

We had room 12, which was quiet, clean and decorated in 1950s turquoise. Breakfast was good. Location excellent for visiting National Gallery, Parliament, Ottawa Art Gallery, Byward market

What a wonderful and unique stay! We stayed for three nights and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. This is a beautiful old home, so if you are not used to creaky floorboards, this may not be the place for you, but provide great character and history of the home.

Our room was well stocked with bathroom amenities, and they assured our TV was functioning (although we did not need it). A/C was functioning well during our stay and the room stayed cool while we were out.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. They provide you various options for breakfast and served you at your table (see pictures). Each breakfast was delicious and warm.

We will be returning to the Inn when we come back to Ottawa.

We just spent 2 nights there while visiting family, and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean and comfortable, there were no issues with my service dog, and Michael made sure we had his cell number in case we needed anything. Absolutely will stay there again!

A very cozy, clean and well furnished apartment situated walking distance to everything in town. We loved our weekend here and highly recommend it! 😀

The suite was extremely comfortable and clean. Michael was an excellent host and had even left cream and juice in the fridge. The accomodation had everything that you would need including Michael's cell phone number if you wanted anything. The location was perfect for shopping.

The place was exactly as advertised. Clean and spacious suite located in the heart of this small town. Check in process was seamless all done via email. Safe and convenient parking spot is included. Lots of nice touches by the owner including complimentary teas and healthy snacks. Would definitely stay at the Merrickville Guest Suites again.

This place was home away from home. Thank you to Michael for the lovely touches and for having us feel comfortable. Everything is so close, absolutely a great town for local artisan shopping. And there’s The local cafe, The Vanilla Bean which is a few doors down, so definitely a good weekend getaway. I’d love to come back in the summer.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. So nice to have a kitchen in the suite. Location is perfect to get around downtown. Street parking is available if you don't want to valet, free on Sunday's so it's reasonable on the weekends. The breakfast buffet was extensive for a complimentary hotel breakfast. They even had chicken congee! We'd definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay, close to the action of downtown. Reasonable rates, we got a king size suite with sitting area and kitchenette. The room was beautiful and had a great view of the pride parade.

The complimentary breakfast was huge and amazing, with different items each day. By far the best I have ever seen at a hotel.

The restaurant itself has mediocre food at best. The Rueben was great but the nachos and bison burger were disappointing. But the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The balcony is great to have a few drinks and watch the nightlife on the streets below.

Nearby are some amazing places to eat. Orchard is next door and is a great date night spot. 2 blocks away is Noble Pizza, which I cannot overstate how amazing it is. Highly recommend both places.

We will definitely be returning! It is a great hotel and worth every penny.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. They made us feel right at home and were always available to assist with any requests we had. The room service was efficient and the housekeeping team did an excellent job of keeping everything clean and tidy throughout our stay.

One standout aspect of my visit was the kitchen manager, SABI. She ensure that every guest was well taken care of. Not only did she manage the food service seamlessly, but she also took the time to help us give tea, which was a lovely personal touch. Her professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction truly made a positive impression.

This was a great hotel. I had room 3327 which was very spacious and included a small kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove. Beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and professional. The gym was excellent too, quite large with really good equipment. My reservation included the breakfast which was excellent as well. A great selection of breakfast items, including healthy selections if you wanted.

This was a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff! Breakfast was superb, the rooms clean, charming and comfortable. The location was very good. Central to a lot of downtown things. A bit of a hike to the convention center (about a 15 minute pedestrian friendly walk) but doable. My only constructive feedback would be that though I adored the two shower heads in my handicap friendly room it very easily turned the entire bathroom into a dangerously wet slippy slide. Also one night the hotel was filled to capacity and DJ Fest was happening outside. It was louder than staying in Time Square (literally) with a bunch of gunning engines and loud techno music for much of the night. Totally not the hotel's fault! However with fully glass walls facing the street it would have been nice if the hotel had extra sound machines on hand to offer (even when hotel is booked to capacity). Overall very positive!

My wife and I stayed here for the last three nights of our honeymoon. This picture perfect ranch overlooking Eagle Lake was the perfect way for us to unwind and say "see ya later" to Canada. The cabin was perfect, complete with a real fireplace and a beautiful view. We made fast friends with both Ryan and Kara whose warm, sincere, hospitality, truly made us feel like more than just guests. My wife and I both recommend the ranch hand experience with Ryan. We both had fun spending up close time with the animals and learning how to rope. This place is a little slice of peace and quiet close enough to Banff to be the perfect base of operations if you so choose, but definitely a worthy destination vacation on its own! Hope to see ya soon Ryan and Kara!! We will be back!!

What a beautiful little spot, the quick getaway needed from the city but yet so close. spent a couple of days with the family, kids loved it. Cabin was spacious, super clean, well maintained with very nice little touches. Hot tub, fire pit and a BBQ as well. Lots of room for the kids to roam free, some animals on the farm that the kids enjoyed watching. Fairly well priced and very easily to communicate with the owner. Looking forward to another visit.

I was extremely disappointed with the way the RRR handled our booking. They didn’t get along with our wedding planner so they completely ruined our wedding experience. They went over an initial contract that my husband and I signed. And then TWO WEEKS before the wedding day, they wanted to change the contract with a TON of wacky conditions to add extra charges. We couldn’t use the bathroom without added charges, the reception would have been over by 10 PM when it was originally not stated, guests can’t wander the property if they aren’t apart of pictures. Just a bunch of controlling rules. The day of the wedding my planner wouldn’t have been allowed on the property. My husband is a DJ and when they found out they added this clause

“ 4.3 DJ’s & Music Providers: Any vendors providing music services must be respectful in regards to the level of volume. If it is deemed that any music is too loud or disruptive, the Company reserves the right to ask the vendor to reduce the volume, change the song, or shut down completely.”

Because they considered this a cancel (based on the first signed contract they said was not valid cause “they didn’t sign”) they kept all our money and we had to pay for a new venue 2 weeks before the day. I was gonna sue for my money back but I would rather not interact with these people again. I texted them and emailed for our money back with no luck. So I reported it after the wedding to the BBB and they threatened to criminally charge us in their response through the BBB. Then after my wedding the owner texts me asking us to come out for a drink cause this isn’t how they wanted this to go. So expect added charges if you go here.

In their response, they still blamed my wedding planner for taking my money and canceling our wedding. No accountability for ruining someone's wedding planning experience. I am SO SO happy we found the spot we did to make the day successful.

My husband and I had our wedding at Rockin R last August. From day one we knew we wanted a ranch wedding and Rockin R was the perfect backdrop. From the first day we toured the venue until our Wedding Kara and her husband were amazing. They worked with us on any request that we had and accommodated everything we wanted for our day. They have made an amazing venue for weddings or anything else you want to celebrate. We cannot wait to go back and create more memories at the Ranch.

If you’re considering booking - just do it! This place is so special, and the owners are fantastic. I had an incredible stay. The sunset was just magical. Make sure you book an experience like riding or roping. Pack your outdoor/riding shoes, and I’d advise having your own vehicle too. Don’t forget swimwear for the hot tub :) I can’t wait to be back here at Rocking R with friends and family.

I couldn’t asked for a better stay. This is a well situated hotel. It ended up being longer due to the Air Canada strike but throughout the staff were so calm and accommodating and friendly.

The amenities are wonderful and I love the apartment / hotel hybrid idea. The apartments are clean and have everything you could want and I love the idea of self serve amenities. The suites are modern and feel luxurious. So nice to have a full kitchen and laundry.

The gym is basic but spacious and clean. And the sauna and steam room are great too.

I will absolutely stay here again.

My wife, toddler, and I really enjoyed our recent stay at Sonder Apollon. I’ve read a lot of mixed things about Sonder as a whole before my trip, but it really seems location-dependent. This one is great. It has clean & well-appointed rooms, great wellness facilities on the roof, and an excellent location. We really enjoyed staying at an apartment-style hotel like this over a traditional hotel room for our little family.

My only complaint was that the shower was definitely poorly installed. It looked very nice, but the door was slanted and water leaked everywhere because of it. Other than that, our stay was lovely.

We will definitely try other Sonder locations in the future.

We stayed for four nights in September. The hotel itself is great. The rooms are very nice, well equipped with everything you need. Finishing and care is obvious. The roof top patio and gym were also great.

The challenge is the noise. We were given a room on the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor directly above where the garbage is collected. The ear plugs and noise machine should have been a clue to ask for another room. Then we thought after the first night that they would not have garbage every night but there was 2 out of 4 nights garbage. And it is just not the big bin pick up it is all the noise around the garbage. Plus it seems to take over 30 minutes to get the garbage in the back. So if you stay here do not take room on the back or on a low floor.

Also, they would not give us Marriott points because we booked with booking.com which also seemed to me to possibly affect the room location we were given. Suggest booking direct for better experience.

Absolutely wonderful - location cannot be better - loved the architecture of old Montreal and easy to get to other parts of city.
The apartments are airy, well decorated and have everything you need to a short or long stay.
The roof terrace is lovely too.
We also got lucky and got upgraded from studio to two bedrooms apartment. A few people in reviews remarked about noise - if you have a bedroom apartment it defo helps as I did not hear a thing and I am a light sleeper.

Absolutely wonderful - location and service cannot be better - my parents rented the apartment and I stayed some days with them visiting Montreal. They loved the architecture of old Montreal and how easy it was to get to other parts of city.
The apartments are modern, well decorated and have everything you need to make your stay a great one.

I recently visited at The Inn on Officers Garden restaurant, for a wedding and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and lively, making the day feel even more special. We had the winer room with a stunning wine wall that added so much charm, elegant, and perfect atmosphere. The food was truly delicious — beautifully presented. The service stood out as well: the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. It was a real pleasure to spend time there and I am grateful for the opportunity to be there.

We celebrated our wedding at this wonderful restaurant. The location is incredibly peaceful and very beautiful. The atmosphere, preparation, and organization were all at the highest level. Every detail that was important to me was carefully considered.

I especially want to highlight the manager, Ranijth, who organized everything perfectly. We had a private room separate from the main restaurant, which made the day even more cozy and special.

The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. All our guests were very happy.

That’s why I truly recommend this place for any important event. Our wedding here was simply unforgettable!⭐️

Will forever be my go to hotel in Calgary! Stayed for a week while my son was doing a hockey camp. The rooms were beautiful and the restaurant had the best food. The customer service was absolutely amazing and I truly felt like I was at home. The pub downstairs (with pool table, darts and tv) and the park across the street kept my kiddo entertained the entire time. Not a wine drinker, but they had a very impressive list. The full bar gave me lots to chose from. The food was amazing, but the waitstaff who served it will never be topped by another restaurant I ever visit. The personal connection I made with everyone during my visit will never be forgotten.

Very nice place, great settings. I had Bison steak. Was good, except some gristle that spoiled it a bit. Mash was good, veg nice, sauce good, rich, my opinion maybe add some berries like blueberries raspberries for bit of sharpness. Not really sure it was worth the $60

I stayed at The Inn last week during a family emergency. The care and concern that the staff showed was truly touching. Everyone was so unfailingly kind. The amenities available on site are great, and the rooms are decorated with such an artistic eye. The linens are of the highest quality, and the beds are super comfortable.

Special mention the bartender/server Sean, who let us stay in the dining room long after the kitchen had closed and looked after our every need. In terms of service, he just went above and beyond.

I can only imagine the care that would be taken in making sure a special day like your wedding would be perfectly executed.

I just stayed at the University Club of Toronto. First, the location is in easy walking distance to most downtown things including great restaurants and activities. The service included a nice continental breakfast. The in room coffee machine was awesome. The staff was incredibly professional and polite. The property was well maintained and very quaint and comfortable. They had many activities for signup. The bed was so comfortable. I slept like a baby even in a downtown area. Highly recommended.

We recently hosted our wedding at the University Club of Toronto and they were absolutely incredible to work with. The food was five star, the venue is stunningly beautiful and the staff went out of their way to help us at every opportunity. They made us and our guests feel so welcomed and as though none of our requests were too big or small. Each and every staff member we dealt with was kind, helpful and professional.

We recently became members of the University Club of Toronto, and also hosted our wedding reception at the Club. As younger members of the Club, we've loved seeing the energy and events hosted at the Club - it's been such a great way to meet Torontonians and enjoy an absolute gem in the middle of the city.

Our wedding was the most perfect night - the entire Events team and staff at UCT went above and beyond to ensure that our reception was flawless. They helped us through the planning process, were extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, and the hospitality was just off the charts.

We've received nonstop compliments on the entire evening - the incredible beauty of the Club, the intimate setting for our reception, the service was spectacular, and most complimented was the food!! Our cocktail hour and the delicious quality of dinner have been the talk of our guests! We even had a few out of town family and friends stay at the hotel at the Club, which made the experience even better.

We cannot recommend the Club enough for any private function, wedding or otherwise, and really encourage other Toronto residents to consider joining as a member. You'll meet wonderful individuals, benefit from amazing amenities and events, you'll gain access to reciprocal clubs around the world, and you'll have a delightful space in the heart of the city to enjoy.

Went to a wedding for my cousin. Was about 100 ppl and the food and service was excellent. Unfortunately the ceremony was in the room facing University Ave and you could hear the protestors who are next door out front of the US consulate. Beautiful paintings and the architecture is also beautiful. Great place for small function if everyone lives downtown or is riding a bike

My wife and I hosted our wedding at the UCT this summer. Wonderful experience! Professional service, delicious food, beautiful space. Would highly recommend it as a wedding/event venue for those that enjoy old-world charm and hospitality.

We did not stay here, but visited for the high tea. The service was nice, but they didn’t have the correct reservation and there was some confusion about where to put us, even though the entire place was empty. The food served at the high tea was low to average - other high teas in the city are much superior at a cost of almost $100 per person. I would not recommend attending the high teas offered here.

Hotel is under renovation so probably would have had a better experience if the renovations were complete.

This is by far THE WORST HOSTEL I’ve ever stayed at. All 3 nights were a nightmare, and I never managed to sleep for more than 2 hours in a row.

1. The hostel is directly above & next to Maison Saint Paul restaurant, which turns into a NIGHTCLUB at night. The music is unbelievably loud – even earplugs don’t help – and the whole building literally shakes. When I asked at reception, they said this is “normal on weekends & that the music stops at 3 am” so there’s nothing they can do. None of this is mentioned anywhere on the website !!! I noticed that several other guests also complained.

I contacted the manager by email and only received a very brief reply with little understanding and no goodwill or courtesy. I was quickly dismissed without any real effort to address the issue.

2. The other guests were extremely INCONSIDERATE – loud, disrespectful, stomping through the hallways at all hours so you hear every single step (I wonder why the reception doesn't point out upon arrival or put up signs saying "please don't stomp.").

3. My pillow smelled. I'm sure it wasn't freshly made. The duvets are just thin blankets. The kitchen is way too small for the number of guests. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.

If you’re looking for a pleasant stay, do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money somewhere else. I would never recommend this hostel !

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and perfect for both relaxing and meeting new people. What really stood out was the service — Ramon went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From check-in to giving helpful tips about the city, he was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about the guests. Thanks to him, my experience felt more personal and enjoyable.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great value, comfort, and excellent service.

I have been here since 2 weeks and I enjoy it so much! The staff is so kind, especially Ramon welcomed me so nicely, when I arrived very late on the evening!! The hostel is directly in Old Montreal and there is much to do around. In general it gives a very “I feel well “ feeling! I would definitely come back!!

I stayed here for one week. This place is just so amazing and comfortable to stay at. Everyone is great. Claire and Ramon has helped me so much as they are being really nice to me. They let guests to have complimentary coffee and tea, as well as using the washer with no extra cost. Everywhere in this place is very clean. They host a lot of fun events. I am able to meet very interesting people from around the world.

Honestly I think I was expecting too much considering the ratings. However the washrooms are not the cleanest and bedding does suck. Pillows are thin and the beds are super hard. I did pay extra to have a twin bed room however got a bunk bed room and squished in the middle. It’s bunk beds with 3 beds stacked on top of each other which I think is too much because you can’t even sit up right without hurting yourself. The staff were very kind and welcoming though and I do really appreciate that. Also the location is perfect!
