We chose the Grey Eagle for our mini honeymoon location. They provided us with chocolates, a nice card and Prosecco (although when asked by the front desk if I wanted red, white or Prosecco, I answered with white) which are thoughtful touches.

The resort is full of wonderful amenities.
We dined at the Little Chief restaurant our first night and the food there was exquisite, you can tell the Chef has put their heart and soul into curating delicious meals.
For our second night we went to the buffet and casino. The buffet was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The food and servers were wonderful.
Unfortunately the cleanliness of our room was lacking, when we got into the room I did a PreCheck and found multiple problems.
We chose the king suite with a Jacuzzi so we could relax and when I went to check out the tub found it to be riddled with unknown hairs. It was easily rectified but quite gross having to clean up after the previous guest.
I found hair pins under the curtains, small garbage littered around and a sharp nail in the carpet. Thankfully I located that with my eyes rather than a foot. I understand the business of this hotel but having clean rooms should be a bare minimum.

Went to the seafood buffet. It was absolutely terrible. I can't believe they're charging $60 for the seafood win. The crawfish were overcooked Frozen, not fresh so they're all soft. They're hardly any seafood. A little bit of crab and scallops were I don't even think real scallops I think and the place was not busy. You get a bowl in there so that whatever they're doing got rid of the lobster. Whatever. It's a rip-off for the money

I have eaten at the Blaze Bar and Grill numerous times and the food is great the Problem is waiting 10 or 15 minutes to be seated. Then, when you get a table, again you wait for anyone to acknowledge you. A couple of weeks ago 3 of us waited over half an hour to get waited on. All the waiters were hanging around the bar or walking around but doing nothing. Today we waited 5 minutes to be seated, two waitresses made eye contact then walked straight to the back. When we got a table we were given water and menus right away then waited another 20 to 25 min for someone to take our order. Instead they stood by the bar, one cleaned a table near us but didn't come over. Another talked to a table beside us but ignored us. When the waitress did come she apologized saying she was sorry she was on a break. Do the other waitresses not cover for each other? I have found there is only one good waitress and one good waiter. If I was the boss of the others they would be fired. Or perhaps their boss should notice how long they stand around and do nothing.

We were really looking forward to staying here for a concert, but the hotel room turned out to be a huge disappointment. The layout itself was fine, but the cleanliness was shocking. If you like black hair everywhere, this is the place for you. I’m staying here tonight and I’m disgusted. It doesn’t seem like the hotel even owns a vacuum—there were hairs across the bathroom floor, on the chairs, and in multiple spots throughout the room. To make it worse, I also found food crumbs and toenails.

If you enjoy playing “guess the previous guest” based on the sheer volume of hair left behind, then this hotel is for you.

Nothing makes you feel more unwelcome than having to do your own forensic sweep just to feel comfortable enough to sit down, let alone sleep.

Save yourself the disgust. A hotel that can’t manage basic hygiene doesn’t deserve a single star, let alone your business.
A hotel with this much potential shouldn’t be failing at the most basic expectation: a clean room. Until they take housekeeping seriously, I can’t recommend staying here.

I’ve been to casinos all over the world . Vegas , Monaco, Thessaloniki, Montreal, Niagara Falls.. and more. Best all around casino is Playground Poker in Montreal. Grey eagle lacks variety of machines and quality of electronic roulette machines. They need to expand that building . Furthermore after expansion , they should build a smoking room. No one wants to spend 5 -6 hours in a smoke filled building. Service was good.

This hotel offered a generally pleasant experience. It appears to be relatively new and is located slightly off the main roads, which helped keep the environment quieter and less congested compared to other hotels in the area.

The rooms, while clean, felt somewhat dated and lacked modern charging options such as USB ports—so be sure to bring your own charging blocks for devices like phones or tablets. Our room was missing hair conditioner, though all other standard amenities were provided.

The staff were particularly friendly and responsive, addressing any requests promptly and efficiently, which added positively to the overall experience.

The pool, though not heated, was spacious enough to accommodate several children and adults comfortably. The fitness room was well-equipped considering the space available.

The business center was quite small—essentially a converted closet—and the breakfast area was also limited in space and variety. While the breakfast offerings weren’t extensive, they were sufficient for a quick start to the day.

In summary, this hotel delivers a quiet, service-oriented stay with a few minor limitations in amenities and space.

Had an amazing stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Calgary-Airport! The staff were super friendly and welcoming — special thanks to Hanbin and Dana at the front desk for going above and beyond. The room was spotless and comfortable. Truly one of the best stays — highly recommend!

Great Stay Near Calgary Airport, highly recommended.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle service to the airport, which runs almost 24 hours a day,only pausing briefly between 2:00 and 3:30 AM. The shuttle can accommodate up to six people, making it a great option for small groups or families.

We stayed in a suite, which was spacious and well laid out. The sofa bed was in a separate area from the main king bedroom, which provided excellent privacy,perfect for families or friends traveling together. The room was very clean and offered plenty of space to relax.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early, which we greatly appreciated. The hotel is only about a 10-minute drive from the airport, so it's an ideal place to stay if you have an early flight.

Although breakfast is included, we didn’t have the chance to try it due to our early departure. That said, food options are plentiful in the area,most are just a 5 to 6minute drive away.

If I need to stay in Calgary near the airport again, I would definitely choose this hotel. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel across from the Coke bottling factory. The hotel somewhat modern but is starting to show it's age. The design is weird where they basically have two buildings and the lobby is an atrium in between. The pool is in the basement and is tiny. The breakfast is good, but doesn't seem to have enough seating. Overall our experience was good, but next time i'd probably stay at a different YYC airport area hotel.

This is Hampton Inn South of the airport. It is about 15 minutes drive from the airport and free hotel shuttle. The room was very clean. The free breakfast included sausage, eggs, juice, yogurts. Restaurants are nearby and few within walking distance.

We stayed here twice during our trip (after our late flight in and prior to an early morning departure) and had a great experience! Breakfast is great, rooms are updated and clean, and all the facilities are wonderful including the indoor pool and hot tub. If you have an early morning flight, highly recommend returning your rental car the night before and utilizing and free shuttle system, it was very convenient!

I usually am not the biggest fan of the complimentary breakfast at hotels, especially the eggs. But this mornings breakfast was a great experience. Everything was kept stocked and maintained. And they were always wiping something down, keeping it clean. I could even enjoy the eggs without tossing the majority of them out. They had red velvet waffle batter which was amazing. The hotel room was super nice and clean. It was just all around a pleasant experience.

Was so pleased with our stay here! Only had an overnight visit to be close to the airport (5 min drive), but the hotel was amazing. They provided a pack-n-play crib for us (and set it up with a sheet covering the crib mattress! so kind!), breakfast started promptly at 6am so we could eat before our early flight, and we all appreciated their complimentary cookie upon arrival and coffee bar. Didn’t get to make use of the pool because of our schedule, but the room was warm and inviting. Shuttle services were easy and attentive. Thank you, Hampton Inn!

This is a great Hampton Inn!!! I really love the location to the airport and it is on another level to most Hampton Inn’s since it has a lounge and evening meal options in Hangers. The service is typical of Hilton’s ( I’m a lifetime Diamond Member), great Front Desk, great housekeeping, and add on the lounge and food and you have one terrific place! Alonso at the bar was splendid! Keep up the great work!

Loved this hotel in terms of service, location, rooms, and cleaning. The room was super clean and felt like it was just built yesterday. Breakfast was good too. Will be heading here again on our next visit to calgary.

I stayed at this hotel recently and I would like to share my honest experience. To begin with, the room size was very good and spacious, which made it comfortable for me and my family. The location was also convenient and gave us easy access to what we needed during our trip.
However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. At first glance, everything seemed fine, but once I looked under the bed, I found a soda can and quite a bit of dust. This was very concerning because I have a young child who loves to crawl and explore. Unfortunately, she crawled under the bed and ended up with dirt on her clothes, which was frustrating and not something I expected from a hotel of this level.
Cleanliness is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay, and while the visible areas looked okay, the hidden spots clearly were not given enough attention. Families with children, in particular, need to feel that the environment is safe and hygienic.
Overall, the room size and location were good, but the lack of thorough cleaning really affected our experience. I would recommend that management focus more on proper housekeeping to make future guests feel more comfortable and satisfied.
Please don't reply and saying we are sorry and we will handle this issue from now on and etc..

We had a wonderful time at the Hilton Garden Inn Montreal! The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were slightly soft for my liking but comfortable nonetheless. The pool was fantastic, as were the views from the terrace on the 11th floor! I truly felt safe at this property as a key card is required to enter the garage, make the elevator move, enter the pool and gym area, and obviously, your room! There is a restaurant on the main floor lobby, we ate there once and found it overpriced and the food mediocre at best. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

We went to this hotel and found blood stains on the bedsheets. They clearly are unsanitary, the hotel also absolutely did not care about this incident. Telling us to report the incident before, when we did not see it. I'm sorry but if I am going to this kind of hotel I will not start inspecting the sheets and the room upon arrival. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. You can find a lot of better and cleaner options nearby. The only good thing was the people at the reception were very nice!

Rooms were good except that theg didn't provide us slippers & upon asking they did. So, i think they should have just kept it before guests check in if that is their routine policy. Also, the room was bked for 2 but we had only 1 chair with the coffee table to sit by the window, i think they should keep 2 chairs, so 2 ppl can sit by the window for breakfast. Checkin had a big queue & wait. Loved their clean lotion & shower gel shampoo. Liked their linens. Room was clean & provided with small refrigerator & keurig.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people looking to stay in Montreal, as it was super close to everything and easy to walk to and from places. However, we requested room service multiple times at the front desk (as we woke up too late to receive the early morning room service) and did not ever end up having our room cleaned. We were there for two nights and not once were we given fresh towels or anything. Despite that, I’d still stay here again.

I was trying to visit Toronto but hotels filled up quickly and closest I could get to downtown was Markham. The location turned out to be pretty nice and I had no problem ubering to the outskirts of downtown Toronto and back for my purposes. The room was nice and clean but the shower was wonky and would be hot one moment and ice cold the next which they told me they’d address and couldn’t really do anything about while I was there. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate area and I ate breakfast at the hotel which was basically continental breakfast that you pay for with extra steps - so can’t entirely recommend that but the staff were all really friendly and helpful and I was able to message them for recommendations on places to pick up an iPhone charger since I’d misplaced mine. Overall I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

This is my 2nd times stay in this hotel. I like the location, so easy to go anywhere. However the hotel seems not updated since last visit, almost like 7 years. everything looks old. Basic furniture as 7 years ago.........the worst part is the toilet. the fan just decoration, not working. the Shower has stay on shower head, so hard for my mom to wash. the bath tub is a bit slippy..........need a good renovation here. A star for the lotion, hand soup, shower gel, body lotion...........

I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Garden Inn! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. The room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable — exactly what you’d want from a quality hotel. The amenities, especially the breakfast and fitness center, were top-notch. It truly felt like a relaxing and enjoyable escape. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. The room is clean and bed so comfortable. The only thing I noticed about is they don’t have slippers.

The service at this hotel was amazing. Adam and the other staff were so kind and accommodating in so many ways. We only stayed one night and the rate was reasonable.

If we ever go back to the Markham area, this is the place we will be staying at. Thanks again!

The room was really nice! Beds were super comfy. All around very clean. Must say I ate way too much at the breakfast. Was probably the best breakfast I've had at a hotel. The little pancake making machine was really cool! There was a man that was working during breakfast bringing food out and collecting plates, he was so friendly and made it much more enjoyable.
The hotel staff were very friendly. There were a ton of places around the hotel to eat. Will definetly stay here again!

Comfortable and clean. Walls were paper thin. The room next to us had a guest who needed a snooze alarm at 5:30 am. And yes, it went off 5 times. It's not the hotels fault, I guess. Thought it was worth mentioning. Great beds and pillows. The pool and hot tub are nice.

Came here last minute on our travels as we needed a room for a night. Staff were very friendly and rates were excellent.

The first room assigned to us did have a musty odor and the ac unit was full of dust. When bringing it to the attention of the gentleman at the front desk, he immediately accommodated us by switching our room - putting us in a room with a working a/c unit and one of which that wasnt malodorous.

The room was modern, clean, and remained quit from external noises.

The breafast was probably one of the best we've tried from all our previous hotel experiences.

We will definitely return when back in Vaughan.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in Vaughan in early July and had a very disappointing experience — especially as an IHG member.

The room was not properly cleaned: I found multiple hairs in several places and visible stains on the bed frame. I reported this to IHG Customer Service, who said the hotel manager would contact me. No one did. I followed up again and was told the same thing — still no contact. I then filed a complaint through the Better Business Bureau, which was forwarded to IHG’s headquarters. Even then, there was no response, and the file was eventually closed unresolved.

As someone loyal to the IHG brand, I expect better — both in terms of cleanliness and follow-up. This stay left a very poor impression, and I would not recommend this location unless there are serious improvements.

One of the Most Unprofessional and Sketchy Hotel Experiences I’ve Ever Had

If I could give zero stars, I would.

When we arrived, the pullout couch was absolutely disgusting. We had to request sheets and pillows just to make our own bed. The walls were so thin we could hear everything, so forget about getting any sleep.

But the condition of the room was only part of the problem. The staff behavior was what really pushed this experience into disturbing territory.

We were in town for a wedding but received a family emergency call and weren’t sure if we’d be returning that night. So we put our luggage in the car just in case. Suddenly I started getting calls from the hotel because the maid had gone into our room and reported that we didn’t leave any luggage. I cannot emphasize enough how creepy and invasive that is. Why is a staff member snooping around and keeping tabs on whether guests leave bags behind? It was beyond unprofessional.

I explained to the front desk (a woman named Linda) that we might not return that night due to possibly having to head home, and instead of showing understanding, she pressured us to “make a decision” by 6 p.m. It felt like they were trying to double-dip—charge me while re-renting the room. Even after asking if management could approve a refund, I was told they’d look into it, but no one followed up. I had to call again during the wedding photos, and still no action was taken. In the end, I never received a refund or even a partial refund from the manager, who I believe was Kimberly. And yet, I was still asked to leave a positive review. The nerve.

I paid for the room. My whereabouts, my luggage, and whether I return or not should not be monitored or questioned. The entire stay felt sketchy, invasive, and stressful—on top of being flat-out uncomfortable.

I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. Between the filthy conditions and the shady, overbearing staff, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I will be telling everyone I know to stay far away.

Definitely one of the best located hotels in downtown Montreal. The vibe coming inside from my first impressions, it was calming and relaxing. The first lobby hall has glass walls as shown on the photos and the outside is greeted with nature's green. Has a heated pool so you can sit back by the side, relax, take a swim. The room I had was pristine. The WiFi was no hassle which is great.

The only downside I consider to this hotel was probably the price of the breakfast; considering the menu was not that a lot but you're paying for the experience and convenience. Overall, I enjoyed staying here, the staff were friendly and professional.

This mid-century modern hotel is absolutely gorgeous—stunningly beautiful and wonderfully calming. We booked directly with the hotel and were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade. The recently renovated king studio was spacious and quiet, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. We especially enjoyed strolling through the garden with lush greens, small waterfalls and ducks. Breakfast was good, made even better by the cheerful waiter who sang and danced. Parking was easy, and the location is convenient—centrally situated between downtown and Old Montreal.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Everything was enjoyable and clean. Pool was lovely. Rooms were spacious. Beds comfortable. Proximity to popular sites was convenient, including both trains. The workout room offers alot of options. Staff was friendly & helpful. We liked the food and eating in the courtyard area with the ducks!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Montreal. The hotel features many great outdoor areas to unwind in nature. There is also a heated outdoor pool featuring a sauna and hot tub! The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are polite and great at giving local recommendations.

My only recommendation is leaving the pool bar open later as after 6pm many of us had to bring drinks from the inside bar.

Overall it was a fabulous stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel with great amenities and a convenient location.

This hotel was modern and clean. Our room was spacious and room service was standard. The best part was the heated pool and hot tub area which was amazing and open until close to 10 pm. Highly recommend it. The breakfast buffet was too pricy. You’ll find better food at a lower price in nearby cafes. All in all a great experience.

I booked a stay at LIV Extended Stay through Booking.com and was extremely disappointed. What was not disclosed in the listing is that there is ongoing construction right at the property. Starting from 7:00 AM every morning, loud drilling and machinery made it impossible to sleep or relax.

This stay was nothing like what was promised online, and it felt very misleading that such important information was not mentioned. If you’re looking for peace, rest, or even the ability to work from your room, this is not the place to stay.

I would not recommend this property until the construction is fully completed and guests are properly informed.

We booked here because we needed two separate bedrooms for an adult family. The bedroom off the living room - the door did not shut completely and had opaque panels, so if someone was in the lounge, the bedroom was noisy and lit up.

It was booked for 3, but we were not supplied 3 towels or coffee pods, we had to go and ask for them. They were happily provided, but could be part of the cleaning process.

For a two bedroom unit, it would be good to have the toilet separate from the shower.

Several coffee cups were broken, the electric plug beside the oven did not work, and we could not watch TV on the TV.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sky deck was stunning. Great location. The Quickie store close by was handy.

Reception and check in was fast.

I paid extra for an “executive suite plus den”. The rooftop hot tubs are right above us and so we hear a crash every time someone gets out. I had asked for a lower floor when we checked in but they only offered a room at 3x the price on the first floor, or rooms with one bedroom with defeats the whole purpose of renting an apartment.

The hall smells like cannabis and the room we were given is right by the elevator and stairs so it is very loud each time someone comes out. The air conditioning is only in the living room, so my choice is to keep the room door closed and sweat so I don’t hear the hallway as much, or to put up with the noise to be cool. There was only one drinking glass in the cupboard in the kitchen and not even an ice cube tray in the freezer.

Update: After calling the front desk at 11pm and asking about the crashing above my room the noise finally stopped at 12:30am. And then I was woken up again at 6:45am by crashing and banging. I went upstairs to find someone working with chemicals in the maintenance room for the hot tubs that is directly above my bed and I asked him to stop making a racket.

Stayed on the hotel side for two days, the room was clean and inviting. Staff were friendly but disorganized. During the first hour of staying, we came back to find the gate broken. It wouldn’t open. I asked at the front desk where I should park or when it would be fixed and they weren’t sure. I went down later and the solution was just leaving the gate open. Over the next few days I saw countless cars going in and out with no pass, so I was surprised to still see they charged me parking on my invoice. I don’t think it would be fair to charge when it was suppose to be secure and it wasn’t. I had inquired about a laundry card and was told it was a $10 charge. I was ok with paying that as I was in a rush. I asked at checkout about if I get a refund for the card if I give it back. After a bit of back and forth I found out I should have never been charged for it at all. The employee said that the other employee that helped me is new and must have got confused. It was a nice kitchen, however the few dishes and utensils were old/dirty or damaged. No toaster like mentioned there would be. It was a last minute booking as I had to come to Ottawa for a family emergency but for $440 I’ll shop around next time.

We booked this room 5 months in advanced, when we got there we were upgraded to a “better” room. This room was a spare room which hadn’t been booked out in 3 months according to the repair man who had to come fix our AC unit. It was the hottest day so far of 2025 reaching 42 degrees C with the humidity outside and we had a broken AC unit for the first 48 hours of our stay. On top of that the tv didn’t work as it was installed onto the wall not even plugged in. It wasn’t until we went back 8 times to complain about the AC not working when they finally hired an HVAC technician to come look, which didn’t fix the problem the AC would shut off after 4 hours. We would then have to turn it back on. In the middle of the night it was terrible our room reached 29 degrees.

We had no privacy as the staff were constantly coming in to see about the air conditioner and TV problems also having the HVAC tech In our room caused us to have no privacy.

I would never stay at this facility again. I had an absolutely horrible experience.

Great location, very accommodating, fair pricing, laundry facility and very clean rooms.

Liked · This place is in a great location with a super well-lit parking lot. The lobby is a spacious and inviting area with a cozy spot to watch TV. The staff at the front counter were really friendly and professional, and everything looked neat and tidy. My wife was thrilled to learn that they have laundry facilities on-site, with coin-operated machines. The swimming pool may be a bit small, but it’s still fun and the hot tub works great. They were happy to accommodate our request for two rooms side by side, and it was no problem at all. Rooms being on the second floor it was great the know they had elevators to make taking things up easier. The rooms were very clean, with plenty of storage space for our belongings and all the necessary amenities. The furniture looked brand new and in good condition, and the bathrooms were also very clean and spacious. The shower and tub were spotless from top to bottom, and the towels were super clean too.

Disliked · I found the room we stayed in to be on the high humid side. Though the bedding and blankets were very clean, I can feel the humidity affected them. The biggest bummer was that we didn’t get any breakfast except for coffee and a granola bar. The fruit on the side didn’t look very fresh, and an apple was bruised from something heavy placed on top of it. They said we could go to the Denny’s on the property, but considering how much we paid, it would have been nice to at least get a discount coupon for breakfast during our stay. So, we decided to have breakfast at McDonald’s instead to stay within our budget.

Enjoyed a nice stay across from the pool. While the pool didn't have a waterslide, it was big enough to have fun with the kids. The hot tub was very nice and deep, good temperature too. The manager was very nice to have offered us a room upgrade which we gladly accepted for more privacy!

Will stay here again.

We stayed here for what was originally going to be one night, because the employee said they were fully booked the following night, so we were prepared to find another hotel.
I went and asked one of the employees, named Morgan if she could do anything to help us extend our stay. She offered a 1pm check out to accommodate was which was so nice!! She was so friendly and professional and that's just what I was looking for during a difficult time for my family and i.
In the end we ended up staying another night and I didn't get her name but she too was also very helpful. She was some sort of guest services manager. We literally didn't have to wait for anything, we even asked for towels and they came up to us within minutes.

Anyways, you get what you pay for when staying at a 3-4 star hotel, what's hard to find these days is kindness and great costumer service... and we found that at the sandman. we throughly enjoyed our stay.

Great room with a kitchen, king bedroom and pull out couch. Very clean and comfortable beds. Coffee station with snacks and water available each morning. Mercy, a staff member helped find missing items from our room that was left behind. We are the annoying guests that lose our room keys, and front desk staff were kind every time we asked!

We had an amazing stay! The service was exceptional from start to finish. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. This hotel was our last stop before heading back to Montreal after our Alaska cruise and our stay in Vancouver, Banff, and Jasper. We stayed for 2 nights and overall, we had a very pleasant stay. I wasn’t able to enjoy the pool—it was too crowded and too small. The breakfast was good, but the dining area was very busy. I had to sit with a stranger, and the food disappeared quickly. When they restocked, you had to be fast to get some. It was a shame that you couldn’t take food out… it would have helped avoid the crowded space. The room was nice, I didn’t hear much noise, and I slept well both nights. Overall, a good stay.

We couldn’t have asked for a more exceptional stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff's dedication was evident, ensuring that our entire group—especially the children—felt genuinely cared for. Nice, clean, quiet room. The breakfast in the morning was good. Hot tub was hot, and the waterslide was fast! The kids (and me too!) had a blast at the pool. The fitness center was clean and had a good selection of equipment to get a good workout in. I would definitely stay here again.

Cheaper than the casino Hotel next door, pool area was nice, hot breakfast was good, room was nice and clean, had problems with the tv, but they fixed it promptly. Great location if you are just passing through and don't want to deal with too much traffic.

Had no hot water for the my stay. They claimed they got the water from the Deerfoot and it sometimes takes a while for the hot to come. This was not the case. I made several calls to the front desk and they said they would send down maintenance which never happened. Checked out of the hotel after 20 minutes as they said they would refund the stay. I still never have got my refund have talked to the GM who told me the people at the front desk didn't document it so she can't do anything. Place is a total scam stay away.

Great two night stay earlier this week.

Was in town for a concert at Rogers Stadium so the location was convenient to where we had to go.

The check in was very fast. We were greeted promptly and the individual working at the counter was friendly and welcoming.

We stayed on the 7th floor and I was pleasantly surprised with the room. Large bed with a separate desk and couch area. Perfect set up as I had to do some work so it allowed me to take calls while my husband relaxed. Bed was comfortable with options for pillows. Bathroom was split so shower was in one room with toilet in another which I personally appreciate. Entire room was very clean. The only small issue we experienced was the coffee maker not working but to me that wasn't a huge deal. I notified the front desk and they were apologetic and said they would rectify it. The walls were a bit thin but only hallway noise. We did hear traffic from the highway but that was expected due to location.

We used the pool and hot tub while there. Hot tub could have been a bit hotter but it was very clean.

Parking was not included but was very low cost. Do not use the machines outside - just let them know at the front desk and they will coordinate it.

Breakfast was just ok - a good amount of options and included in the price. The staff were very efficient though and were constantly restocking the food or clearing plates which was nice to see.

Location was convenient to the subway, some restaurants, and the highway.

Overall a good experience. Would stay again if we needed something that far north.

Front desk receptionist was wonderful! She provided us with a little gift upon checkout, and ensured my husband's accessibility needs were met. Room was clean and spacious. Very close to attractions. Clean pool and hot tub. Complimentary hot breakfast!

Parking spaces were a little tight. Only 2 accessible spots from what I saw.

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great experience. The room layout was well thought out — I liked that the toilet and shower were in separate areas. There was a nice workspace too, perfect if you need to get some work done during your trip. The room also had a microwave and a large closet, which was a nice bonus.

Breakfast was surprisingly good with excellent service, and there were plenty of parking spaces available. The WiFi worked well throughout my stay. My room faced the highway, but it was surprisingly quiet — no noise issues at all.

Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay. I’d definitely recommend it!

My extended family and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. We have always had the best experiences there. The hotel is super clean and the staff is very helpful and welcoming with anything we have ever needed.

Recently, my family had a trip planned and we had expired passports (that we didn't know about until very last minute) and needed to cancel/reschedule. The staff was incredibly helpful with this situation and helping us get it resolved. A special shoutout goes to Megan Chen who was constantly in communication with me and helped me resolve the situation.

Would recommend to everyone traveling in the area to stay here anytime. Super great service, support, and accommodations!!!

Stayed here last night. Stay was good, ample parking. Room had dried cup marks on the night stand. Wasn’t even wiped between guests. Someone else’s hair in the shower. At the “complimentary” breakfast they had a guy who went around telling every single guest to fill out the feedback cards about the breakfast. All of the cards were for your room information and how much of a tip you are leaving for the free buffet breakfast. I’m sorry but after $300 a night, tips for house keeping, I’m not tipping for the included breakfast that I make and serve myself. Seems like this hotel is good at ripping people off of their hard earned money. Want a tip at breakfast? Literally do something more then just come to our table and tell us to fill out the card which literally just asks for money!!!!

I stayed at 3 hostels over 4 nights, and I'm glad I ended with this one. It was the best by far!

- Reasonably priced (other places charging more than $100/night for a dorm bed is bonkers)
- Cute and homey with funky decor
- Friendly staff and visitors
- Comfy beds and pillows!!!

I was a bit worried about being further from downtown, but it's easy to get to on the subway. I'll definitely stay here for my full trip next time!

I have stayed in many hostels, but this is the first one where I found a vibrant community where people were open to learning about each other, and that should be the spirit of a hostel experience. The staff was very communicative and attended to you like you were the only exclusive guest in the space. I would definitely recommend backpackers to make a stopover here.

Booked because I had a late flight the other day and appreciated the possibility of hanging out in relaxing common areas. Didn't get much sleep because the women-only room had a large cellar window and was told in the morning I couldn't enter the common areas anymore (which I never encountered before and isn't mentioned anywhere online or at checkin). Breakfast is minimal. Onsite staff was nice, but would recommend travellers go to Samesun or another hostel in Toronto.

Please be cautious while booking this hostel. Even though I paid the initial deposit amount, upon reaching the hostel on a Saturday afternoon, I was told that my reservation was cancelled and my room given to someone else. I was left without a room on a busy weekend where I then had to book another place for 3 times the price. Moreover they didn’t even refund my deposit. Please be aware. Just for more profits they can put your trip in jeopardy. The places vibe looked decent but the location was quite Okaish.

This hostel is my favorite in Toronto! It's located in a very cozy area with a lot of things happening without necessarily having the craziness of downtown! But the best part of this hostel is the staff. They are so nice and welcoming, and truly make you feel like this is your home. The place is also connected to a café where you get a hostel discount and can enjoy great coffee, cake, beer and live music in the weekend! This is a must try hostel in Toronto.

Stayed here for a few days for work trip.

Good: front desk service was very good, great attitudes. Lots of amenities in the suite, including cutlery, dishes, dishwasher, large fridge, small hot plate, and microwave. Great if you plan on a longer stay.

OK: room size was good, bed was acceptable. Room temperature control was a bit finicky and the rooms were quite dry, woke up with very stuffy nose a few nights.

Bad: this room clearly has had some issues with water damage in the past, and there is lots of evidence of mold and repairs (see pics). The repairs are also very shoddy and cut rate, most likely the cheapest possible option was chosen. The shower stall leaked water all over the bathroom floor after my first shower, and the shower water pressure was also not great.

I would not stay here again, especially if I needed a longer stay, there are better options in the area.

Room is good. Bed is comfy.

But get this. 8 kids got stuck in the elevator and they refused to call the fire department! The manager said the fire department would just say, "Call a technician." After 20 minutes, one of the parents finally called. When they got here the first thing the fire chief said was, "Why didn't you call us right away?"

Good hotel rooms. Worst management ever

I organized a group booking at the TownePlace Suites Toronto Northeast/Markham and our entire group of 19+ gave nothing but positive reviews.

Our group had very early mornings before the hotel breakfast hours so Ruvika, the Sales Manager organized to have her team prepare portable breakfast boxes for our entire group. Ruvika even scheduled one of her team members to come in early to ensure our group had access to hot coffee in the morning.

The rooms were very nice and clean and every member of the front desk team was very kind and helpful throughout the week that our group stayed at the hotel.

I would give this hotel more stars if I could and we definitely recommend this hotel for anyone needing to stay the in the area.

I have had the wonderful pleasure of booking our company stays with one of the best reservation officers I've come across. Their quick replies to my emails, questions and requests were not only met but done promptly. I am happy to say our company will be using this hotel again, it has all the features needed as well great guest services. I would like to specifically thanks Tooba for their outstanding service, efficiency and prompt services.

Although I found the hotel to be just slightly below average, my friend was very displeased with the hotel. The very small bathroom with a clothes hook right next to the toilet wasn't inviting at all. We informed the housekeeper that the room was available for cleaning, and even after returning a few hours later, we still had to wait for her to complete the job. The breakfast selection was average. Although we will be returning to the Toronto area next month, I seriously doubt if we'll stay there again.

We had stayed around seven days in this hotel. The room is clean and is big enough, but in my opinion lacks proper air conditioning or heating. The hotel breakfast is very greasy and after some time it gets too repetitive, with no vegetables options or enough fruits. The good thing is that the hotel offer coffee, tea and chocolate in its lobby. The location is nice, near pubs, attractions and the UQUAM metro station. The staff is very polite and will help you with what they can.

I would have given this hotel a better rating but the photos attached are only a couple steps outside. Streets are filthy and overrun with homeless, drunks and spun out druggies.
The hotel was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Underground valet parking is an extra $30.
If you want to be close the tourist spots like the pier and Notre Dame this is a good spot.

Exceptional Service by Raphaëlle – She Made Our Stay!

We had a last-minute reservation at the front desk, and fortunately, we were assisted by Raphaëlle. Her professionalism, warmth, and efficiency were truly impressive. She didn’t just check us in—she listened to our needs, offered the perfect room with all the right amenities, and made us feel genuinely welcomed.

In a time when great service can be rare, Raphaëlle is a true standout. She’s the kind of employee every hotel needs—attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. Management, please take note: she deserves recognition for the outstanding experience she gave us!

The hotel is clean, staff is quick at service, valet was polite and courteous itself is in a perfect downtown location—right on St. Catherine E., with easy access to Old Montreal, both nightlife strips, and plenty of great cafés and eateries.

The hotel is in a great location which is close to many things within walking distance. The service was good and the rooms were clean. The bathroom was a nice size, but the rooms were small, but had been updated. Parking is the worst part of the experience. Parking is at a local public parking lot at additional expense. They don't provide valet parking, so you have to walk back and forth to your vehicle

We were looking for a last minute hotel room for the night and Best Western has always got our back! The service was good, the prices were fair, and the location was close enough to everything in terms of walking distance.

The rooms themselves were comfortable, clean, and there were some bathroom essentials provided along with plenty of towels. The rooms do have a bit of a fume from the carpet but it wasn’t unbearable or strong in any way, just noticeable. We had a view of the street and it was quite nice in my opinion. There was nothing stocked in the mini fridge.

Location wise especially, it’s far enough from the core to be peaceful at night, but close enough to be able to walk to almost any place you may want to visit in downtown. It is also located very close to a nearby mall and street where they were hosting a jazz festival!

Parking wise; it is valet only.

The gym is a decent size. The machines are a bit outdated but do the job! They also have yoga mats, exercise balls, and much more in terms of things you may want to use for your workout. There is also an ice machine, and a plentiful vending machine right outside of the gym. This is all located on the “M” floor level.

There is free 24/7 coffee available for guests in the lobby. Great coffee with Keurig, with a good amount of options.

This is surely a great hotel and I’d definitely return should I be in Montreal again!

We stayed here several years ago and the place looked a bit tired. But NOW, with the renovation it looks wonderful! Clean and crisp and modern. The restaurant was nice and the customer service at both the front desk and restaurant we're perfect. We would absolutely stay here again. Location very near to the 407 Toll Road as well as easy access to North York communities.

So happy this property renovated! I was more comfortable for my family to stay here and we stayed in the room that was perfect for us. We stayed in the King Suite and it accommodated my family with small children as it had lots of space and more importantly more than 1 bed! It had a king and 2 pull out sofas - and the pullout sofa’s weren’t your regular springy saggy ones. The design of these ones were more firm (which I’d take any day) and I think more hygienic.

The check in experience was great. Cheryl at the front desk received my request for an earlier check in, and when I arrived my room was still getting ready but she acted with urgency. Just that gesture alone made such an impact because I was already dealing with upset kids from a long drive so that also gave me some relief.

Although the pool was a bit small, it was still a great time for my kids. I can see it getting crowded easily on a weekend but the hotel anticipated that and had signs on the door to ask front desk to open the pool door to help regulate how many people were there at one time.

I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and unfortunately came home with bedbug bites, which were confirmed by my doctor. I immediately informed the hotel, but despite my report, they claimed their inspection did not find any bedbugs.

Regardless of their response, I know what I experienced and am extremely disappointed in how the situation was handled. Waking up covered in bites is not something anyone should have to go through while traveling. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution others to think twice before booking here.

This hotel has exceptional customer service.
Me and my boyfriend came for a little weekend getaway and we felt so relaxed. The bistro was so kind and made me iced coffee even though it wasn’t on the menu. The front desk ladies are so sweet. The atmosphere is so quiet and clean. The room was really nice and comfy. Definitely a cozy place.
I liked that we could buy snacks 24/7 st a fairly reasonable price and everything was very close to us. The elevator for us was only a few steps away and same for the ice room.
I really loved our location. Everything was so convenient. The only thing with the bistro is it isn’t open after breakfast and only opens at 5pm again.
Probably one of the best hotel stays we’ve had. The only downside is that someone was smoking weed but overall it was an amazing experience for us and we’d definitely come back.

We’ve stayed at this hotel the past 3 years for our son’s lacrosse provincials. The staff are so friendly and helpful. When I mentioned that my son was a goalie, they gave us a complementary room upgrade which not only included a very large room but a balcony to air his equipment out. The entire facility is very clean and the rooms spacious. The pool is great for the kids and the gym has lots of equipment including dumbells up to 50#, kettlebells and lots of cardio machines. For our team, parents love the outdoor patio. It’s nice to have a place for the parents and kids to hang out after the game without disturbing rooms in the hotel. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

I made a reservation directly by phone. My colleague did the same. We ask for the same type of room. For some reason, I got a "Suite". He did not. I never asked for it. But I got charge for it. 960CAD$ for 2 nights...wow!
The room, "Suite", was big, but by no mean did I felt it was different than any other normal room I normally stay in. It was not more luxury and I am a frequent traveller.
Obviously, English is my 2nd language. I feel I got taken advantage of. I guess it is a "bite the bullet" situation...

Overall had a great experience at this hotel. The room was spotless, and I really liked the layout — especially having the bed face the window. Despite being near the highway, it was very quiet, which I appreciated.

The only thing I didn’t love was toilet and shower setup — personally found it a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great.

The location is also a plus — about a 15-minute walk to the subway station, which makes it easy to get around. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Room was very clean and comfortable, with easily adjustable features like lights, pull out couch mattress, and curtains. The room we stayed in was close to some with children, so some noise carried into our room. The service from the staff was excellent! The only thing was that the television wasn't working and the jets in the pool weren't working either. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, but it would have been nice to have the option to use some of those amenities listed online. Beds were very comfortable and room staff/cleaning staff were lovely.

After being a silver elite member for many years I am calling it quits with Marriott. They were happy to take my money while I was walking but now that I am in a wheelchair, it is impossible. Most chains, Holiday Inn and Hilton, you can book accessible rooms on line At Marriott you have to call them, sometimes argue with them about getting a guarantee, receive an email telling you that you have a guaranteed accessible room, then arrive at the hotel to find IT IS NOT AVAILABLE. This is the third and last time it will happen to me. If you need accessibility, look somewhere else.

Came to this place as it has decent ratings and included breakfast. It was shortest place to the zoo and science center. This could have been any hotel though. What truly stood out was the front desk manager. I think her name was Angela or Angelica. She was training a new person but hlthat didn't stop her from being very friendly and warm. We had to leave due to emergency at home and she actually showed care, which can be unusual. She made the experience great and I truly thank her for such a positive experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The Front Desk employee who helped me during check-in was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was working on the evening of August 21. Breakfast was also good.

My home away from home!!! I spend 5 nights at this hotel every 5 weeks. It's honestly like coming home. The beds are comfy. Towels fluffy. In room amenities are 5 star. But the best part... the staff. From the wonderful front desk, to the sweet room attendants, to the restaurant staff, the lounge staff, the shuttle drivers, the maintenance guys that you always see making stuff better. Always smiling, always happy to welcome us back.
I honestly can say enough good things. I don't like being away from home, but I get excited to spend my time in this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel at the August 2025 long weekend. We advised hotel staff a number of times that the toilet was broken and close to overflowing. The hotel said they had no plumber the first night and offered a room with one bed for three of us instead of two double beds, which was what we had. The plumber came a day and a half later and supposedly fixed the toilet but it was broken again on the second flush. In between we had to take the elevator down several floors a number of times to use the main floor bathrooms. On the morning of our departure, the toilet finally did overflow. The toilet was never fixed during the entire stay and when I checked out I told the front desk staff this and they said they would take the parking cost off our invoice and offer a 10% discount. I followed up with a call to Marriott customer service which forced a response from the hotel manager. The manager wrote back to say that 'after a complete' review, he confirmed that the hotel had done everything they could have i.e., we had access to the hotel's washroom facilities (the main floor) (too bad the toilet in the room didn't work) and the option of the king size bed! Terrible hotel management.

This is a 1 star hotel dressed as a 3 star hotel.
Besides the shower water pressure and the location/ view, this hotel is terrible.
The staff is not trained properly whatsoever, absolutely abysmal service from start to finish.
Front desk has no urgency and move at a snails pace, housekeeping is incompetent and missed even the smallest things.
The Marriott brand needs to review this hotel immediately. I have never encountered a hotel where 100% of the staff were so useless.

Booked 2 rooms with 2 beds the night of the riverside music festival and we were given 2 rooms with one bed, got charged for( 2 bed) bedrooms, we requested a late check out and was harassed by staff to leave at 11:30 when we needed the room till the evening, got double charged for parking and the front desk manager Annabelle tried to steal money from us and was the most rude and incompetent and inconsiderate manager for the hotel and ruined what could have been a good stay after paying over 1000 dollars for our booking.

We asked for a cot to be placed in one of our rooms before we got back late from the show and we needed to ask them again.

Overall not very enjoyable experience and don’t waste your money here

The room was clean, quiet and had no signs of anything off-putting, whether inside or out. There is underground parking available with elevator access. There is also an attached conference building that is accessible by an enclosed walkway. There is a restaurant and bar, if you're wanting a bite to eat, from breakfast to supper. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There are no complaints I have about my stay, only compliments!

The room service here is genuinely the worst I've ever encountered at a 3-star hotel.
The cleaning staff didn't give me a new toothbrush cup after they recycled my old one. I then called the front desk to ask about a refill, but they told me I needed to come down to the lobby and get it myself. Is it my responsibility?
Secondly, the tissue paper in the bathroom is empty and no one refills it. I'm genuinely wondering if this is what I'm paying for – a bed only?

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is terrible.

Good value. Good location. Staff were fabulous. Comfy beds. Loved the coffee in the lobby. We had fun with the waterside/pool. Rooms are dated but could be fixed with a coat of paint and better lighting. (We had a suite on ground floor). We would stay here again.

Comfortable, Convenient Stay at Four Points Calgary West

I recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Suites Calgary West and had a very positive experience. The hotel is conveniently located for both business and leisure—easy access to major roads and a short drive to downtown Calgary and local attractions. Parking was straightforward and inexpensive, which is a big plus for road-trippers.

Check-in was quick and the front-desk staff were friendly and professional. My suite was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with a comfortable bed, a separate seating area, and a practical workspace. The bathroom was modern and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a reliable job each day.

The hotel’s amenities are solid for the price point: I appreciated the on-site fitness centre (adequate equipment and clean), indoor pool and hot tub (well-kept), and the lobby bar/restaurant which offered decent meals and convenient late-evening options. Complimentary Wi‑Fi was reliable for email, streaming, and video calls.

Noise levels were reasonable my room felt quiet and had good blackout curtains for restful sleep. Service throughout the hotel was courteous and responsive; staff were helpful with local directions and recommendations.

A few minor notes: breakfast options were fine but somewhat limited on busy mornings, and some decor in public areas could use a refresh to feel more contemporary. Overall, though, the hotel delivers strong value, comfort, and consistent service.

Recommendation: Four Points Calgary West is a dependable choice for travelers wanting comfortable suites, good facilities, and a convenient location without a premium price. I would stay here again.

Great hotel! Yes the rooms are a little dated like some reviews have said, ours was still in good condition and kept very clean. The breakfast was good and housekeeping was great. The bed was very comfortable and the patio was very nice. The tv didn’t have a lot of channels, but we didn’t really care about that. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at the Four Points Hotel in Calgary from August 1st to August 4th. Unfortunately, our check-in experience was unpleasant due to a receptionist who was rude and dismissive of our accent, even going so far as to ask who spoke the “best English.” This was very upsetting.

However, when I raised the issue with the manager, Lorie, she was incredibly understanding, compassionate, and professional. She took the situation seriously, reassured us that racism is not tolerated, and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. She even sent a thoughtful basket of snacks and arranged breakfast for the next day, which meant a lot to us after such a difficult moment.

While the initial experience was disappointing, I am deeply grateful for Lorie’s kindness and excellent customer service. She truly turned our stay around.

The cleanliness of the rooms were as expected, although the service could’ve been better. My family and I were checked in on the second floor right by the hotel management office. My kids and I could hear the vulgar language and inappropriate comments from a white woman who works at the hotel. Leaving this review, in hopes that higher ups of the hotel can handle people in the work space who act in such a way.

Welcomed kindly. Me and my family was looking for a place for a night and i feel lucky to find this cut place. Rooms are clean and comfortable, place is peaceful we woke up and spend time around backyard, we see that they have some chicken at the back and they offered us free fresh eggs, totally lovely thank you for the kindness

Linda and Tony have a great spot here! It was a perfect alternative to motel / hotel when I needed a place to stay the night.

Beautiful place, excellent communication from the hosts, well-kept/clean rooms, nice shared room to relax with friends, all in a nice quiet location. If you aren’t good with heat, you might not want to book during the heat of the summer, as there didn’t appear to be a/c. But fall/winter/spring, it’s great!

Be aware this is not a bed and breakfast, there is no breakfast and if you want the sauna that is not included in the room charge either. Sleep was only ok, wouldn’t recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed last week and it was an absolute beauty. The host were SO KIND and SO LOVELY! Highly recommend if you're in the area !!
