We came in with very specific requirements for a chandelier and Jill DELIVERED! We needed a chandelier that would have enough chain to hang over our dining table, which is something we could not find anywhere else. Jill not only made perfect suggestions in our price range, but she was even able to order us extra chain.

I came to Canada and visited the multi-colored light display for the first time in December 2019. The weather that year was incredibly cold for me. The frozen snow on the trees, reflected in the lights, was beautiful.
But this year, 2023, I haven't been able to see it, so I don't know if it'll be as beautiful as last year!
Because this year, the weather wasn't too cold and there wasn't much snow.
There were many things to see at the event, and there were lots of families with children walking around, which was fun.

My husband and I had the great fortune of selecting Studio V for our wedding that was held there earlier this month. Dawn's venue was the first we saw when we started looking for a space and we immediately knew it was the right venue for us. It is intimate with a lot of character and it was the perfect size for our wedding with 50 guests. And after meeting Dawn we knew we were in good hands.

Dawn was very helpful with assisting us plan our wedding. She was always available to answer questions and provide ideas.

On the day of, everywhere went off without a hitch. Dawn, Eliza and their staff did an excellent job decorating the venue and making sure our big day went smoothly. It was everything we hoped for.

My partner and I held our wedding here in October 2022. We wanted a small wedding due to the changing environment of covid and fell in love as soon as viewed the venue. We had the most beautiful wedding, bettet than we ever imagined.

Dawn and Eliza are both so amazing. From our first consultation and walk through, to booking and planning, right until the last mins of our wedding day, the communication was quick and the overall planning was easy. You want to have good communication with the venue and you get that when here. I felt super at ease especially for someone who is Type A.

At first i hesitated getting a wedding coordinator as naturally I love being hands on, but we found it so helpful to have Eliza communicating with our vendors and helping with our schedule. You need a Eliza by your side brides/grooms! Highly recommend getting the wedding coordination service as add on.

Our vision of our wedding came to life and Eliza was there to help flush it out to make it even better. We held our tea ceremony, nikkah, lunch reception and lion dance.

We probably could've came with less decor based on how much was at our disposable from Studio V. So if you're on a tight decor budget, and love dried florals, minimalism with a mix of boho, they may have what you want and more without the additional coordination or cost.

The staff that Studio V hired for the day of were also top notch. So kind, so helpful, and the service was beyond amazing. Even our guests were complimenting at how lovely the service was. As soon as you enter, you feel so welcomed.

Wouldn't have had my wedding any other way.

Shoutout to Studio V Events and their amazing crew, especially Dawn and Eliza, for making our wedding day an absolute blast! We had a Hindu ceremony, which required specific arrangements and traditions, and Eliza and Dawn helped make sure everything was in place, which made the ceremony flawless. We felt respected and valued throughout the entire process - Eliza was incredibly accommodating. Their respect for our traditions was apparent and we really appreciated that. We also were able to have our dog at the wedding which was wonderful!

Eliza helped us craft a flow of events and spent a bunch of time planning out the day with us over the phone. She had some great recommendations for vendors, the set up and the flow of events - all these aspects helped make our special day memorable. Our guests loved the space and the set up. Importantly, the team was super laid-back and calm, which seriously eased our wedding planning stress!

One of the most common pieces of advice I received before the wedding was that I wouldn't have time to enjoy the day because of all the chaos. However, thanks to Dawn, Eliza, and their fantastic team at Studio V Events, I can confidently say that we had an absolute blast at our wedding. They handled every detail with grace and efficiency, leaving us free to soak in every moment and enjoy our big day.

I've shot multiple weddings at Studio V and I enjoy them very much. 10/10 highly recommend - about as easy as it gets. Ty came out, did a site survery, showed me how to save some money on the proposed work, put the order in and had the work done in a prompt manner. Price was very fair for the professional work. I'll use them again if I need them and hope you do too!

Ty and the team are great. I had them plan, spec, and install outdoor lighting throughout my yard, which I liked so much I had them come back to add more. Professional, competent, and easy to deal with. And the best part? Whenever my dogs damage a lamp or cord they are always happy to help and usually have someone come by within a day or two. If you're looking for quality work done by quality people who stand behind their product then look no further. I'm a customer for life as a result.

I highly recommend this outdoor lighting company - In 2007 they did a beautiful job installing our outdoor lighting system - they reinstalled and fixed all our lights for a nominal fee post flood in 2013. Tyler is exceptional in his customer service - and today -on the phone Tyler walked me through how to get our timer and system up and running after a power fault. No charge. You are awesome Tyler. The staff at The Outdoor Lighting Company are very considerate and helpful. I had bought some outdoor lights from The Outdoor Lighting Company many years ago and recently had a minor issue with two of them. Kathy and Tyler fixed the problem, even hunting far and wide for a piece that needed replacing, always very professional, very courteous and with a big smile. We are a makeup and hairstyling academy from London UK and rented the studio for some masterclasses we ran in Toronto & it was absolutely perfect! The space is amazing, so much natural light & such a fabulous vibe to teach & take some beautiful photos & videos. The manager Danny was above & beyond helpful - super-responsive even when he was overseas on holiday himself. All of our extra requests were always accommodated. We'll definitely be back to run some more events here. Thanks Danny, you were an amazing help!

The studio was beautiful and Dan (the owner/runner) was so easy to communicate with and knew his stuff. Options for parking, had AC (though may be too noisy to leave on during shooting, FYI!), all the amenities, great bathroom and dressing room. Also great natural light option, and has studio lighting options (is extra but the lighting equipment is great quality). Room is voice controlled which is great. Clean, well maintained place! Will 110% book again!!

My experience at this space was amazing! To start, Danny was a fantastic host and was very accommodating and helpful to any requests that I had. I had every questioned answered and it made the whole process swift and easy.

The space looked great on the website but breathtaking in person. The Boho theme was relaxing but elegant and it set the entire vibe of what I was going for. Every guest that came in also had incredible things to say about the look and decor of the place. It was a very spacious space and easily fit 30 people with no problem at all.

Overall I was absolutely satisfied with what the space had to offer and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in renting this place out for an event.

After having two companies provide quotes, I decided to go with Trimlight. My initial reaction to meeting Curtis was so positive. He immediately understood my needs and took the time to do a detailed quote with options. Installation was postponed due to extreme frigid weather but on the first warm day I had the three nicest guys (Aidan, CJ and Jose) arrive early in the morning to begin the installation. They were friendly, efficient and kept the area around the house clean. Once installation was complete, they gave me a quick tutorial to get me started. Initially I had some issues with the app; but with a little remedial lesson from Curtis, I was able to get the system to do everything I was hoping for. I am excited to impress my neighbors with dazzling lights for years to come. I highly recommend Trimlight to friends and neighbors. You simply can’t top their price, product, warranty, staff and service.

Trimlight sent out three installers, and man lift to our remote property. They showed up on time and completed a top notch job. Very impressed with our light system. Thank You to the team at Trimlight in Calgary. The whole experience from quote to installation was great and very professional. Curtis, the Manager, does a great job of explaining what to expect for the installation and what options are available for placement of lights and just as important (to me at least) where the control box and connections are made.

The great install team, C.J., Aiden and Duani, answered all my questions (I am a curious one), showed me how it all works, and explained the controls and App very thoroughly.

I really want to emphasize the care and attention to detail in their work. I asked to have the control panel placed on the wall next to power outlet I already had. Aiden was concerned that to do a nice job of installing the wires into the house, they might need to put a hole or two in the drywall (my garage ceiling is drywalled, unpainted). I said that it was ok, it's a garage after all.

Well, they outdid themselves, when they showed me the final install, they had taken down (and put back up) a sheet of drywall from the ceiling, ran all the wires and made a single 1 inch hole to pull all the wires through. In Short, It looks great and very professional. I really appreciate the extra effort and attention to detail. I can take lots of pictures of my new lights, but I think the controller install speaks volumes.

Having purchased a product that was marketed to me as a ‘permanent lighting solution’ from a big box retailer, it was anything but. Within a few a months of being installed, the top lights stopped working and the ‘permanent’ adhesive that held the lights up started giving out. The product and install were both horrendous.

Fast forward to my interaction with VIBE. My first call with Shannon was perfect. She empathized with my situation and assured me I would be happy with their Gemstone product. Chris was able to promptly visit our home, gave us a very competitive quote and a live demo in addition to answering the boat load of questions we had. He genuinely cares about his clients and made my wife and I feel like we were talking to a friend. He is extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. The installers, Robert and Daniel were friendly, quick and precise with their work. When they were done everything was left in pristine condition - no scraps, boxes etc. The install itself was FLAWLESS - perfect 90 degree cuts on the track, no exposed wires and controller neatly tucked away in my garage.

Learn from my mistakes. A cheaper alternative will likely end up costing you more in the long run. Go with a trusted product with a superior company like VIBE and you will be smiling from ear to ear like a kid on Christmas morning!

We love our Allure lighting. We had it installed a couple years ago and just upgraded to their new app. Service has always been prompt to arrange, the techs are on time and do a great job. The new app for running the lights is fancy! It was very easy to set up and I love all the pre-made selections and the timers - especially the turn on at sunset feature. You won’t be disappointed!

I highly recommend Allure Lighting if you are looking to get house lights installed. We had them fitted a couple of years ago and had a really positive experience with the install. Then this week we went to change the setting and noticed a section where the colour was a little different. I sent an email on the weekend and got a response that day for a service call within the next week. They came out a couple of days later, on a statutory holiday, and fixed the issue right away. The after sales service is phenomenal and you can tell they truly care about their customers experience.

These guys are amazing! I hired this company for DJ services for both ceremony and reception, and a photo booth for my wedding on October 8.

Communication was always very fast and clear. They arrived at the event on time, set up on time, and kept the flow of the event going. The dance floor was busy, the photo booth with props was an absolute hit, and they couldn’t have been nicer guys!

The best permanent outdoor lights you can buy! We had Alchemy Landscapes install our new Gemstone lights and we couldn’t be happier! They really bring our house alive at night. I first came across this store when I moved back to Canada in 2021 after being away 10 years. I’ve always been a supporter of small businesses and entrepreneurs and had to furnish our house outside the city. The items here are all very individual and special and over the years I would purchase special items online only and delivery was always quick. I finally went in for a visit before Christmas this past December and met the super duper mom daughter team. Such a beautiful store front and location. It was so nice to put a name to a face in meeting Sara and her mom. I continue to purchase regularly and was able to cross off so many from my Christmas list as their products are so varied. Love love this special little find!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful sentiments about Jacaranda Tree! The store is a true gem on Mount Pleasant, and has something for anybody no matter the occasion, time of year, or price point.

Most of all it is the people who work at the store that makes it the most special. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. In particular Sara, who is so kind and helpful. She always is willing to suggest new ideas and finds me the perfect gift.

I can’t wait to go back to the store and see the new items.

Amazing store. Was passing by it happened to be their Christmas opening for the holiday season. The staff was so friendly, atmosphere was very welcoming. The decor variety is incredible. If you’re looking for decor or any holiday oriented items definitely check this store out. We ended up getting a stunning gold wreath and a few of their jams. Their jams they sell are so good and would be great gifts too. Overall 10/10 experience and very happy with our purchases, will visit again ❤️

Jeri at IQ was a pleasure to work with. The space is flexible for a variety of different events. We hosted a cocktail reception for approx. 100 guests. Our guests enjoyed the indoor space with ample soft seating provided by the venue and the large bar area. We will be back!

Last month we booked the inside King Terrace venue for a 200 person event. We worked with Jeri, for all the event details for the night of, including the kitchen space, bar needs and furniture placement. The space offered lighting options, mobile tables, storage room, beautiful planters on wheels, clean large washrooms and a very large useful bar space. Jeri and her team were there the whole evening to answer and questions or helps with any needs on the fly. If you are a caterer, the kitchen space was large, with stainless steel prep tables and a tall oven! I highly recommend this place, or any of their spaces offered, for corporate events, wedding receptions, Christmas parties or launch parties!

Fantastic location with indoor and outdoor possibilities. Very versatile venue: great for business events, options are endless. Great planters, high tables and bar. Terrace has all outdoor furniture and looks great. Jeri was our main point of contact and she handled everything professionally and was great to work with. On the evening of our event she took care of the whole evening. Thanks to Jeri our event was a great big succes.

I had the pleasure of attending a recent event at the 150 King St. location. The venue space is amazing with modern design and an insane patio space that hosts 200+ people! Jeri, the Venue Manager is extremely attentive and ultra-professional. This venue is highly recommended...!

I am an event planner, and the entire process was a pleasure! Jeri was amazing to work with, quick to respond to emails; was always happy to show me the space whenever i asked (3-4 times), and was fantastic and attentive throughout the entire event which she stayed to ensure the execution went well!
The Vault is a dream for any planner looking for a "plug and play" type venue with lots of great features. It offers a cool secret/underground vibe; built in bar and table booths; inhouse sound system and tv screen walls; and mini putt green.
We hosted a 40th birthday dance party for about 75adults, and it was a perfect fit!! Overall great experience, wonderful staff and would use again given the opportunity :)

Fantastic place for electrical stuff like wiring boxes, breakers etc. 1/3 to 1/2 of H.D. Prices. Mom and pop type store with great service and prices. LED lights are CSA approved. I found this place when shopping around for better pricing than the post Covid price gouging that seems to be in full swing at the big box stores.

I couldn't be happier with Ottawa Valley Christmas Lights! From booking the appointment to the installation of my Govee lights, their team was exceptionally courteous and professional. Jack, the installer, arrived on time and installed the lights with a level of precision that exceeded my own standards. Even when I realized I had given Jack incorrect directions for the light installation, he graciously offered to redo an hour's worth of work without any hesitation and at no additional cost. I would gladly hire this company again and will be recommending them to all my friends and acquaintances!

We recently hosted our daughter's wedding, more specifically the family henna party at our home and worked with Jack and his team on the lighting for the event. I don't often write reviews but Ottawa Valley Christmas Lights did an amazing job on wedding lighting for our home. Not only was Jack easy to work with, he was willing to make changes once the lights went up. It's one thing to have a vision in your mind but quite another thing to actually see it. What a fantastic job they did! Our 30-35 foot tree looks like it came out of a Christmas movie. We, and our neighborhood, are really enjoying it. We opted for the Rockefeller lights. The install crew were very professional and took their time to ensure everything was right. Highly recommend.
