I’ve been going to Greek fest since I was 3 years old. It’s changed so much over the years. I support my community and have told myself I’m going to get more involved next year. There were curtain things that were amazing about the old Greek fest. We need to bring back the rides for the children. The draw for a free trip to Greece was always a hit too. This year was hard because it was the first year back since COVID. But next year we go all out!!! We invited the theater so let’s give them a show!!!!

The annual Greek Festival is worth catching if you can. It usually runs for 10 days. The food is great and the entertainment is enjoyable.

Rented hall provided adequate screens for presentation and good audio. Facilities in good shape. Staff not intrusive but available.

Be careful with the food - check what others are eating and decide, some foods platters are not good at all.

Came here for a wedding last weekend and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. Tight, intimate space with a large dance floor. 100% recommend. The drive up to it on the race track was also a very cool experience.

One of the Best event venue in the heart of Montreal.

We just had our wedding this past weekend and all we can say is WOW. This venue is one of the most gorgeous in all of Montreal, from the lighting, to the indoor design, to the architecture and of course, the garden. We have nothing but absolutely positive things to say about our experience with the rental managers. All of our guests were blown away by the atmosphere. If you are considering this place as a rental for an event - do it. We will remember our special day for a lifetime, and it happened flawlessly. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

There's a reason why this is one of the most sought after wedding venues in Montreal. It's so gorgeous, the setting is incredible - you feel like you're out in the country but through the trees you have this breathtaking view of the city. Parc Jean-Drapeau's staff are very attentive and helpful. It's well worth the cost to rent this space. It's unreal to think how many hundreds of thousands of people likely dined in that room during Expo 67, how many millions passed through the Canadian Pavilion, how many millions more walked around the site. It makes whatever event feel like a part of history. The Inuit art was striking and engaging too, and it created this remarkable contrast with the high modernism of the space which was 'linked' by the interior wood floors and finishings, and complemented by the natural settings outside. Old, new, antique, modern, rustic, urban - and all at the same time and in harmoney with one another. What could be more Montreal, Quebecois, and Canadian than that?

Horrible service and, more importantly, both parking attendents and their manager utterly lacking in empathy. Attended an event here and we had a guest in the party whose electric car needed a charge since nearest charger in the Casino was out of service and after driving around looking for charger they only had enough charge to drive 5 km. La Toundra refused to allow him to charge the car so it would not require a tow while being a guest at the event and told him that the charger is for employees only even though no employee was charging 10 pm two charger spots. And this was for a paying customer. At the end, this poor individual had his car towed as their battery ran out, their while two kids screamed in their baby seats, which lay on the side of the road while they waited for their cab at 10 pm. Quebec hospitality at its best.

I booked this company for my out of town wedding. Not only did half of my linens not get sent out with my husband, I was BARELY compensated. I had table cloths that you could see the legs of tables because of them. No apology. No reimbursment except what they forgot. Do NOT use them!!!!

We rented candelabras from Modern Event Rentals for our wedding in Banff. The rental company in the Bow Valley was not able to provide the specific candelabra we wanted, so we are glad it worked out to rent from Modern Event Rentals. Macklynn very responsive and great to deal with via email. Cost-wise, the rental was comparable to other companies we looked at.

It was amazing, so much variety and entertainment, if it weren't for the chilly weather would have stayed longer and seen more, no pics but place des arts beautiful and cozy

Wear rubber boots if possible, very slushy, dress warm if going on ferris wheel, it can get cold on top, be prepared for long line ups. Variety of installations to suit all ages, easly spend 2 hours there. Live DJ with music that's actually good! We had fun.

Love this yearly festival! The music, the lights, the art pieces, the 🎡! It is all fun and games for all ages! The arts and games are all free so it’s fun for the whole family to come spend the day and check it out. Make sure to see the website for more info as they have a whole program!

This place is absolutely wonderful, especially in the evenings. The open atmosphere and well-lit environment make it a beautiful setting to gather and enjoy with friends and family. Although it can get crowded at times, it adds to the lively and energetic aura of the place. My friends and I have visited twice, on March 6th and March 10th, and we cannot get enough of it. The party area is spacious and perfect for just hanging out and relaxing. There is also a nearby bar that allows you to grab a drink and take a nice walk around. Additionally, there are plenty of activities for kids, including small games that are free to play. If you're feeling hungry, there are great dining options available, and a beautiful mall right in front of it. Overall, it's an amazing place to visit and highly recommended!

Nice event for families. Expected the arena to be bigger. The ferris wheel was for free. Also, it's not huge, but it was fun. The location is perfect. There are lots of restaurants near the event.

I went here for the pumpkin charity ball for Halloween this year and all I got to say is what an amazing venue. Especially for Halloween. Haha What a great night I had and I'll definitely be back again for another event or to the bar downstairs. 🤙👍

As a vendor for an event held at the centre, the parking was good and easy to unload. Bathrooms were clean and food from the bar was great. I was there for RAW: Magnify, an arts show.

Terrific pub with every kind of beer and whiskey imaginable and good food.

It was afternoon tea celebrating Blooms Day from Ulysses by James Joyce. There was enactments from the book and it was all very enjoyable. The food - sandwiches and scones plus squares were lovely. The wine and Irish lager my husband ordered were great and so was the music. Very enjoyable

A banquet center in the heart of the city that's rather unassuming from the outside, but with a grand interior. The halls are huge, and the arrangements are very satisfactory. The lobby is big, clean and with a shiny floor. The food that's catered is delicious. The restrooms are nice and clean. Parking is adequate. However,  the servers, in general, could be a bit more friendly and courteous.

One of the best venues and halls for special events. Located across from Mooney's Bay, this newly upgraded and updated banquet hall boasts a large seating capacity, modern interior design and an upgraded kitchen. Beautifully decorated and spacious, and can host smaller to.larger groups for business events, as well as weddings and special occasions. Ample parking adjacent to the facility. You will not be disappointed!

My family and I went to the Lebanese festival this year and it was a blast. Music, dancing, rides for the little one, food, food and more food. It was a great time, and will be the source of great memories for years to come. We went again this year, 2023 and again was amazing. Our now 4 years old loves coming here and talked about it since last year. We will be going back again next year when it comes back to town. Also, big shout-out to all the volunteers that make it possible.

My husband and I held our reception at Saint Elias and we were very pleased with everything! They were very flexible and ensured our special day went by smoothly. Everyone working the night of our wedding was wonderful! Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food was throughout the whole evening! Thank you again!

Are you a builder? Fitting up a new construction rental? They can spec your entire unit for less than it cost me to get copies of my drawings. Also, good service every time we go.

Did all my way there to realize that the showroom no longer exists. Google still have pictures of the showroom, also the website says nothing about they closed it. Guy on back of the building told me they closed it but I can still buy online. Who cares about online? There are tons of other online stores. The only reason I was buying from this store is the showroom where I can see what I'm buying.

BEWARE. It appears they have closed down their showroom/gone out of business in Kanata but there is NO indications of that online. I would definitely call before showing up which is the mistake I made.

We were greeted at the door after calling in by a lovely and very helpful associate. The showroom is large enough to suit many styles of lighting. The prices are great when you consider other big box store prices. We shall be back soon to check up on the ever changing inventory.

Our first visit was a bit awkward as they were closing earlier than posted due to Covid, the girl who was in the showroom kept turning off the lights even though they were open. She made us initially feel like we shouldn't be there even though it was well before closing time.

Upon returning the next day we had a similar experience until the girl explained it wasn't her primary job while my wife waited for me to meet her in the showroom.

Once she went back and had Melissa come out, this turned our experience around 110%.

From that point on everything and everyone was great. We found what we were looking for. Great place, great staff, great prices especially if you can find the sale/clearance products. Would recommend 100%

We had our wedding at STORYS Building after our original wedding venue cancelled. David called me within 30 minutes of receiving my inquiry and after a venue visit (I was wowed), we were locked in. In what could have been a stressful situation, I didn't even have time to panic because the STORYS team had me sorted.

Leading up to the wedding, the STORYS team was incredibly helpful and communicative. They were super adaptable with our vendors and gave us plenty of amazing tips. The wedding day was *literally* perfect. The entire STORYS team were so helpful, accommodating and fun! The drinks were flowing and we had several guests tell us this was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding (we agreed).

Overall, between the amazing location, venue vibe, food, drinks and amazing team, we feel lucky our original venue had cancelled. It truly felt like it was meant to be and we had the most beautiful, stress-free day. I could not recommend this venue enough!

THE BEST WEDDING VENUE IN TORONTO! My husband and I had our wedding here last weekend and our guests could not get over the stunning venue, the food, and the service. Everything was top notch. I have been following this venue for years on Instagram and always loved the vibe of the place! When I got engaged they were my only venue I inquired about!

First off, the value for your money at this location is incredible! Toronto venues have become fairly outrageous for minimum spends but STORY’S was very reasonable!

There are three main people we talked with and each of them were lovely! David helped us book the venue, Tiffany organized all the food and details of the day, and Jennifer ran the show on the day!

The venue itself is perfect for our wedding - 85 people! It can hold more but with this number we were able to have dinner and dancing on the same floor comfortably!

The food was fantastic and they let us personalize some of the menu option which I appreciated!

I can’t say enough positive things about the venue itself and the people running it!

I just needed a plumbing part. Rang the bell at the service counter and no one came. Two people walked past without asking if I, as the only person at the counter needed any help. I went into the store to see if they could get someone to help. They just pointed me back to the counter. When someone finally came, they told me that they didn't have my oart and that no one would carry it and that I would have to contact the manufacturer of the 30 year old water filter. It was just a simple jam connector like you would use to connect a water line to a fridge. I went to Home Depot where they had 3 different options. I won't be back.

After weeks of searching many hardware and plumbing stores in Ottawa with no luck in finding a pop-up drain cylinder, I finally found exactly what I needed at The Electrical and Plumbing Store. The price was right and the person behind the counter had excellent customer service skills. One certain store in the west end suggested I needed a whole drain system for $92+tax, not so! I highly recommend the The Electrical and Plumbing Store.

Great Service and staff knowledge! I was here to replace some failed kitchen lighting. The staff immediately knew what the problem was, was aware that the manufacturer of my LED light was out of business and had a solution on hand. Very proactive staff - they ordered a part and had it in the store for pickup same-day. Absolutely outstanding service with a smile. Highly recommend the service provided here.
Other than my top notch service experience, the store is well-light (no pun intended) and has tons of tasteful and quality merchandise on hand. well worth dropping by for any kitchen/bathroom/lighting questions or items. Thanks again!

I have been dealing with both locations for years, and they always do a great job in aspects of thier business. I have have had a few problems not their fault mine, and they still went above and beyond.

Most recently a situation with a Grohe tap. Raf (in the East End location) did an outstanding job, and I felt more like he truly cared about the situation. I would like to thank the entire team and a 10 out of 10 for Raf.

The EP Store is amazing, and I would give them 6 stars if I could. Their staff is not only knowledgable, but they're kind and they stand by the products they sell. A few months ago I purchased a toilet at this location and recently had plumbing issues. The plumbing company I worked with suggested the issue was with the toilet, but EP wanted to make sure and offered to send someone to check it out at no cost because they really believe in what they sell to their customers. In the end, the issue was not the toilet, and with the support of EP, I was able to get to the bottom of the issue. From the start with Mark (who sold me the product) to Brian (who was patient, understanding and who helped me recently with my issues--thank you!!), EP went above and beyond and really is the model for a business that sells quality products with top-tier customer service and support. The store definitely carries a lot of higher end products, but you really do get a matching level of quality both with what you buy and help from the absolutely amazing staff. If you're looking to replace a toilet or upgrade home fixtures, EP should be your first stop.

Had a wonderful venue tour there by April. Very informative and friendly. Their wedding space is not your everyday community centre space. It is large, light and bright and airy and will have an outdoor ceremony space too!

Trywood hosted our wedding reception in January. Phenomenal service. Excellent food. Everyone had a great time. They're willing to work with us on unique ideas we had for the reception and were willing to try something new and executed to perfection. Our guests have consistently commented on the reception having some of the best food they've ever had, especially the salmon! Would highly recommend for weddings or any event in general.

Large lot, several buildings. Attended a wedding, Staff was amazing, food was served buffet style and was also very good. Bar service was great again staff above par!

Chilly stands but great ice. Change rooms could be bigger. No on site food.

GO now and ask for Jaffer whose 5* service makes what may be a difficult process actually fun. He’s an afficiendo of lighting and been there for many years. Jaffer understands the intricacies of design, style and function. I simply showed him pictures and he was able to identify what would look not only the best but compliment each room. He saved me lots of time by emailing pictures, explaining the process, brightness, bulbs and seeing what would arrive in the timeframe we needed it. He has great taste and is dream to work with.

We got the full house lighting purchased from Union lighting and furnishings and it was an amazing experience for us. They have tons of products and quality is one of the best. This is a one stop solution for any lighting and furnishings need. We dealt with Mr Jaffer and he is a gem of a person. He navigated us throughout the process and made our experience awesome. One of the best sales person I have ever met.

I had purchased a Transglobe brand chandelier in BC a few years ago. When one of the globes broke, my local shop was unwilling to contact the seller to get a replacement for me. Strangely, Transglobe wasn't able to replace it for me either as they don't sell to the public so they gave me the contact of 3 resellers in Ontario. Union Lighting, being the only reseller who replied, responded quickly to me and was able to locate one spare globe and sent it out to me in BC at a fair price. They have an excellent customer support team!! Highly recommend buying from a place with a good customer support team like theirs!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Steve Sharpe for our landscape lighting. Initially Steve met with us at our home and made recommendations for the lighting design to enhance our property. Then we met him at the showroom and with his expertise, the purchasing experience was easy. We are thrilled with the service that Steve provided and highly recommend him for your lighting projects. Best customer service ever! We purchased a chandelier several years ago that began to experience current issues. While it was no longer produced, the service team fixed it, paid a home visit to optimize it to boot! Honestly I am so impressed. Thank you so much!!!

(NOTE: THE VENUE IS IN THE TALL WHITE BUILDING THAT IS SOUTH-EAST OF BAY AND QUEEN INTERSECTION, ON 8TH FLOOR!!!). The food is very nice and please t, the chicken had a soft melt in your mouth texture and the rice was super tasty. The servers are very nice and like to assist you consistently. The tableware is super neat and fancy as well. The lighting is perfect and they can adjust it as well. Nice place! Just wish the dance floor was a bit bigger. Also, the washrooms are SUPER clean and smell great!!!

Good venue. Have attended multiple events here. Try to sit in the middle of the room as the edges make it hard to see the centre stage. Had some trouble hearing speakers, but not sure if A/V is in house or changes by event.
The food is just okay, although they do try to make it interesting visually and in combining the dishes.

This was such an Amazing space. I wish more people knew about. It's great for all kinds of events.

Beautiful place. The space is slightly tight to move around. Almost felt like a packed club in my 20s but this was a third party company event and potentially wasn't planned according to attendance. So be warry of how many you invite. The upper balcony level was the best. Less crowded. Could move around better and there was a bar so didn't have to go down to get a drink. Staff was friendly. Overall good experience. The 1 less star is for the narrowness of it. Could have had 2 entrances rather than 1 for better flow and safety. Acoustics were good.

Went to a charity Event in this space a few years in a row (minus Covid years). There is a ton of construction around the place so not the easiest to find. Inside the space is large, comfortable (space and temperature) with great acoustics. Bathrooms were clean and wait staff are friendly and hard working. It’s a popular place for weddings.

Small park area situated at the bottom of Mount Royal, east side. Its really nice in the summer. Usually doesn't get too busy either.

Best Community Association in all of Calgary - great monthly events like Jazz Night (local jazz artists, great venue, exception price) and Board Game Night. Community driven and run by an exceptional volunteer group. If you live in the 'hood and are looking for a volunteering fix, this could be it! Check them out at their Spring Fling fund raiser in April or their Neighbour Day event, Mission Possible, in June. You won't be disappointed!

For us it is always going to be how a venue handles adversity with not only a person but when things need to be adjusted. Design Exchange did a phenomenal job with our meeting, and we could not be more pleased. The beginning was rough, but we ended on a high note with a flawless meeting. Thank you, Miguel & Lizz and all the onsite support staff. The food was also amazing which i had doubts because how to you cook steak for 200 people, but they did it! Excellent job DX!

I was hired to read tarot cards and hired other readers to accommodate a large Corporate annual Christmas event which has been using my services for the past few years. This was their 2024 location, the staff were so kind and helpful, everything was impeccable. They provided dinner for me and my staff during this 6 hour party which was delicious. Eatertainment owns this venue. It’s got Good energy. My Dad was a stockbroker and he worked there too when it was the Toronto Stock Exchange so the place has sentimental value to me too.

The team at Design Exchange were so great to work with. They accommodated all of our requests and were super helpful in creating our first ever immersive event. We had multiple site visits and testing and they were always so gracious and patient with our team. Our event was a huge success at Design Exchange and looking forward to hosting here again.

Had great people but only one till open and was busy

There is something for everyone in this store. The young lady with long hair who is frequently on cash has excellent customer service skills.

Customer service is very poor. No number to call to talk to a person.

I just left here after coming ready to buy a tulip table and a set of wishbone chairs. I was the only customer in the store almost the entire time and I spent at least 15 minutes walking up and down the main floor checking styles and options. Why one star? The staff member working didn’t say a single word to me. It’s such a bizarre feeling entering an empty store with no sound/music and not being spoken to the entire time. I gave plenty of opportunity in those 15 minutes by circling the main desk, walking the floor and trying to make eye contact to open some conversation. Not even a greeting or goodbye when I walked out.

My expectations weren’t high, but they certainly weren’t at zero. Wild.

I have sent a few emails previously to your company. I have received 3 different exchanges with the 6 dining chairs, all being contaminated with molds all over the chair horribly! Even the last exchange, your company just slightly swiped off the mold without disinfecting the molds, as there were still prints of molds on it. I did not pay for some cheap furniture to have molds and exchange 3 times on 6 dining chairs. Also having agreed on a certain time but having your delivery guy just dropping all unwrapped in box chairs on my porch without anyone to pick up from the door! They are $500+ for each chair! With the third exchange there were 2 chairs that was stained with molds, and having your staff telling me I was lying when I have proof of it and having your delivery driver seeing it himself too! I believe this needs an explanation and compensation on this matter.

I found out about HCD Furniture through a family friend and they have such great pieces to make your house feel like home. Their customer service is top notch and they definitely go above and beyond to make sure that you’re happy with every single piece that you order. A special shoutout to Aroon who helped make the customization and delivery process such a breeze!!

Found this place through an ad on Facebook market and honestly super grateful that I did! They have high quality furniture and I managed to find the exact noguchi coffee table I was looking for! Excellent prices too, really comparable given how expensive everything is these days. Would highly recommend buying furniture from them (: I had such a lovely experience thanks to the folks at the Mississauga and Downtown branches as well as Zara who was super helpful!

My experience was nothing short of a nightmare their furniture is rubbish. I ordered four counter stools they are all different colors and heights they have scratches cracks. The pitch of the seats is also off the second you sit down you slide right off. The owner did not want do anything to rectify the situation. It doesn't feel good to get ripped off. Be smart stay away.

You can find affordable products with good quality here, and you can also enjoy food and drinks. Most of the items in my home are from here, and I absolutely love them.
But UPPLAND sofa was really uncomfortable so we change it and bought another sofa.

I’d rather throw my money away than buying anything from IKEA after buying a drawer and contacting the Customer Service because it was falling apart. It ended up nowhere. The Customer Service doesn’t help very much. I had to follow up on my own complain and then even after they said they’re going to help me with the issue they didn’t email me. They just ghosted me:) so if it’s cheap, there is a reason for that. However, the drawer i bought wasn’t cheap.

Do not have your wedding here. There will be 3 weddings happening at the same time in adjacent rooms. You will hear the music from these rooms bleeding in while you’re trying to enjoy dinner and speeches. Would not recommend

We had brunch here for Mother's Day. I was a bit skeptical about going as I don't generally like buffets but my experience here was very good. Well laid out. Nice venue. The buffet had a good variety of hot and cold food that was replenished regularly. The staff were excellent, too.

For the past few years (except for the pandemic) the Christmas reception of the non-profit organization, which my daughter belongs to, has been taking place at the Sala San Marco. I have nothing but good comments for this place. The reception room is beautiful and grand. The catering company used are excellent. The food is good and plentiful. Their real key assets are their staff who is very pleasant, professional, quick, polite and friendly. As you can see, the family has become a fan of the Sala San Marco.

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding event on August 15 2020 at Sala San Marco.

Our event was amazing and beautiful. The staff were great and sufficient. Always made sure my guest were content and had everything they needed. Michel the wedding director was a great help during my wedding preparations and during the pendemic. She kept me up to date on the pandemic health and safety protocols and guest list.
The venue was A+ so was the food. The stuff chicken was delicious, the broccoli soup was very flavorful... It was just delectable 😊
My venue was well decorated and ready when I arrived. Was I ever happy. The bathrooms were always cleaned and checked every 5 minutes or so... Which to me, was very important during the covid 19.
My husband and I are so happy that we were able to celebrate our wedding at the Sala San Marco during this hard scary time but yet we were not going to let covid win. Every one followed the protocols and Sala San Marco made sure of it as well.

My visit to South Hill today was disappointing due to indifferent customer service and an unexplained closure of a significant store section for private events during regular hours. I was at Avenue Road Furniture before this and the difference in customer service was night and day, and had to drive 45 mins to barely spend 3 mins. The focus on maintaining exclusivity rather than delivering a shopping experience was evident. This incident raises serious doubts about the store's commitment to customer satisfaction. Prospective customers should exercise caution, and maybe shop at RH or Avenue Road.

If you are looking for beautiful contemporary furniture, look no further! This is the place for you!

Beautiful quality furniture!

I recently had my baby shower here, and am incredibly disappointed at the lack of organization and communication on behalf of the coordinator. I grew increasingly concerned throughout the planning process, and it all came to a head the day of my event. My mother arrived at our designated time slot for set up to find the space full of people, and when she went in to ask what was going on, the coordinator was not even aware that our event was taking place that day. Somehow my baby shower, which I paid over $1,000 to have at the Vandenberg House, did not make it onto her calendar. Thankfully, after realizing that I had booked well in advance and paid in full, the coordinator ushered everyone out of the space and cleaned up just in time for my mother and friends to set up for the shower. Frustratingly, no apology was offered, and I have not heard from the coordinator at all since the event.

If you still decide to book in at the Vandenberg House despite the risk of working with this coordinator, I would give you one piece of advice in terms of capacity. The capacity for this venue is stated to be 28 people seated comfortably, which is kind of half the truth. This works if everyone is seated for the majority of the event, but if you will have people mingling or walking around, seats and tables for 28 leaves very little room for anyone to walk around. If you are planning an event for which you would like seating, and space to walk around, I would limit your guest count somewhere around 20 people. I had 27 guests (myself included), and everyone was bumping into each other and really struggling to navigate the space as we made our way from our seats to the food table, around for photos, etc.

Good luck! This is a beautiful and cozy venue, so if you're willing to be very diligent about calling the coordinator and following up, it may be worth the risk to book in.

The Vanderberg House is Toronto's best kept secret space for intimate gatherings; we hosted my best friends 30th birthday on November 11th 2022 and it was astonishingly breathtaking. Charming venue and a perfect place to host my baby shower! Christiane was so easy to work with and accommodated all our requests. The space itself was so versatile and it was easy to transform into our party vision. Unlike other venues in the city, the Vandenberg House was affordable and offered so many add on options to enhance the party. Christiane went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly and was transparent about what was included from the start. I highly recommend and will likely return for my next event!

Our wonderful wedding planner, Kimberly from Envision Weddings + Events found the Vandenberg House 5 days prior to our wedding (due to our previous venue cancelling) and we thought it was perfect! Great central location, with an intimate and cozy charm. We had a very small ceremony and reception with 10 people total. Christiane was such a gracious event host, she always checked in and made sure we were comfortable, and she made sure we had everything we needed.

We had such a great experience, the only thing is I wish we found this venue sooner!! Thank you Christiane for your hospitality!
