Now this is true customer service. I reached out to Cadieux Interiors after searching for a specific reclining chair from Sweden for which I need a replacement part. Rob kindly replied within a day via email to help out. After explaining that I was on the west coast and that we did not purchase the chair from Cadieux, Rob was more than happy to help us anyway. Rob asked their Canadian manufacturing rep to contact us and he did within a few moments. Thank you so much for your help Rob! RobH, Victoria BC.

I purchased an expensive leather sofa. Then I called the store to get information on leather protection cream. Left a message but no one called back after 5 days. Met a salesman in the store and mentioned about the no reply and he simply said nothing. Also, there was no protection products at all. Not recommending Cadieux Interiors to anyone due to bad service after sale.

We loved our experience at Cadieux Interiors. Lucie was wonderful to work with and provided us with great advice. Our furniture is truly beautiful and never goes unnoticed when we have guests visit. Thank you Lucie and team! Looking forward to more shopping!

I really like this furniture store. Their staff is amazing. They pay attention to details and I find them to be very sincere. Cadieux offers styles in classical, transitional and contemporary designs. Their selection and presentation is really good. If you want peace of mind and you are looking for a retailer that takes care of you from start to finish, Cadieux is it in Ottawa. I don’t think they are too expensive either. You get what you pay for and more.. And why wouldn’t one pay a little more for better quality and better service? Keep up the good work, Team Cadieux!

I notice from the other reviews; other customers are having similar issues. I would not make any additional purchases with this company and am in the process of registering a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, very bad business practices and horrible customer service.

Look at other options, there are other great companies out there that don't purposely take advantage of customers.

A decent and quite graceful place for organizing any kind of events. Lights are good and so does the seating arrangements. You can get the good vibes upon entrance which is equally beautiful and does take a lot of attention. Stage is well centred and being a photographer serves as a perfect place for taking nice shots. Quite spacious and would be great for booking for any event. Great venue and kudos team Jubilee Banquet and Event Center.

We hosted a fundraiser Iftaar at Jubilee recently and it was an incredible experience! The owners made sure to help make it as smooth an experience as possible, worked with all our needs, and beat our expectations with the decor - the guests continue to extend their kind remarks and are excited to attend the event again! The owners were consistently available and working with us, along with recommending how to better execute the event, and we couldn't be happier to have hosted the event with them. We had our henna night here back in April, and it was absolutely magical! The owners were so easy to work with, they did everything as we asked, they worked with us on our budget and went above and beyond everything we asked. The food was the highlight of the night. There was not a single person that didn't praise the food! It was amazing, we ended up ordering dinner from the caterer multiple times since our event. Thank you to the amazing team at Jubilee for making our event amazing.

We had our party on December 10. The hall is absolutely stunning. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Amazing appetizers with beautiful presentation. Main course was also very delicious. Talked with the owner briefly and she was so welcoming. This is an amazing place to do an event. 100 percent recommend. Decorations were really creative and lovely. Best banquet hall in town. We have been customers of Multi Lighting for years because of the quality of their merchandise. Recently, we had occasion to purchase two flush mounts for our kitchen. This experience was extremely rewarding because of Julien Philion. His help in our choice was invaluable. He suggested my sending him photos of our kitchen and he would then choose suitable lights for me to evaluate and make choices. He was very helpful sending numerous types of lights. We ended up choosing a style that he had suggested. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and helpful. His sales service is impeccable, which explains why he is the manager. Came in today to pick up (expensive) lights we had already purchased after receiving a call that they were ready. Despite there being staff available (guy by the printer, two attendants with one customer), we stood at the counter in the otherwise empty store for 10 minutes without any acknowledgment - not even a "we'll be right with you."

Finally, one of the two attendants left the customer, still behind the desk, walked past us and kinda throws out "oh what, did you guys have questions or something?" Whatever happened to "Welcome! Sorry for the long wait, how can I help you!".

Optimal, one of the two attendants helping the single customer could have easily split off to help us?

For comparison, Home Depot down the road greeted us three times within 5 minutes. The difference in customer service is night and day. Expected much better for a specialty lighting store.

Amazing experience with Dima. Today we visited the store for the first time and we were very impressed by the light selections also by the quality of service we received.
Dima took her time to show us lots of options and hepled us to choose what we need, with a pleasure, patient and she always having her smile on her face, which is let us feel very welcomed and happy.

Great experience at Prima Lighting! Their showroom is absolutely massive, with an incredible variety of styles and options to choose from. It’s one of those places where you can easily spend hours exploring because there’s truly something for every taste and space.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy, which made the whole process enjoyable. We ended up picking up a couple of beautiful lights that we’re so excited to have in our home. The quality and design are fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable for the selection offered.

If you’re looking for lighting that makes a statement, Prima Lighting is definitely worth a visit.

I bought a Chandelier and the sales lady did not sell the correct product as per my requirements, when the product got delivered I came to the store to return it and they refuse to take it back. They are pure sales talk only and be mindful before they rip you off.

What a great experience!!! They went above and beyond for me. I have been calling stores trying to find a special set of light bulbs and not only did they have it but made sure it was the right one. Extremely knowledgable on all lighting products and they even went out of their way to find me a cap cover that I had lost for my light fixture in my move, for free!!! They made sure I had all the parts and were super friendly. What a selection of gorgeous light fixtures too. They were true professionals in their field and well priced. I've bought a few fans over the years from The Lighting Centre. They always have a great selection of products and their staff is knowledgeable.

Recently this store showed me why they are the best place to buy lighting product from. One of my fans stopped working, and after diagnosing it the receiver had gone bad.

It was a major inconvenience as it was one of the fans in my rental property and for me fixing a rental property in a timely fashion is top priority.

I came to the store not knowing what would happen with the warranty. Darren and Gloria were awesome. Gloria was incredibly well versed with the product and talking with her and the fan issues and what i had done to diagnose it she could re-affirm me that the part that I thought was not working was likely the culprit.

Darren tried extra hard to find me one and really tried to go the extra mile for me and in the end it paid off! They were able to get me going that same day with a replacement part which allowed me to fix the fan on my rental property and keep my tenants happy.

If you're looking for a store with great selection, great staff, and great customer service this is the place! Whenever i need a lighting fixture i'll be looking here!

I was there yesterday to buy lighting for my house that I am renovating and when we walk in we liked a lot things and we were going to buy from them however we felt discrimanated because the sales lady told me 4 times that the chanderlier are pricy ($2000 to $4000) and each time I told her that I am aware that I will be spending close to that however she continue making those comments and I had enough ans decided to walk out with my family somewhere less discrimanating .
Another comment she made was that because I was living in a hotel due to the renovation I have lots babys which were only 2 a 7 year old and 10 months old.

I feel that my skin colour play a role here.

We bought a significant number of fixtures from the lighting center when we built our home. Todd was amazing and helped us every step of the way. He helped me see and pictures things outside my narrow minded views and I gratefully appreciated it.. otherwise I don't think our house would have looked as spectacular as it does now!

I’m very happy that I found Topmade Signage. Their pricing is competitive, and they are a company you can truly trust. Their design and sign-making teams are outstanding. Chris, with his years of experience, always suggested the best solutions and was quick to respond to any ideas I had. Janelle also went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied with the final design — and I absolutely love the end result!

We've been working with Topmade Plastics on various projects, and they've consistently gone above and beyond. The quality of their work is top-notch, and their customer service is always excellent. The team at Topmade Plastics are excellent to work with. We are pleased with all 3 of the signs they made for us, one outdoor sign and 2 indoor company logo reception signs. The sales team are exceptionally helpful and prompt at communicating and the pricing is extremely reasonable. The installation team were careful and efficient. I would strongly encourage anyone to work with Topmade for signage.

Avoid this company unless you want to experience frustration and poor treatment! The service attitude is terrible, and the selection is limited. Chris will make decisions for you, including significant price increases. Additionally, the wait time is excessively long, leaving you utterly disappointed!

Union Lighting: A Class Above the Rest in Montreal

Union Lighting is one of the nicest lighting stores I’ve visited in Montreal, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the market for high-quality fixtures. Located on the Decarie service road near Royalmount Mall, the store is easy to access with available parking, which is a big plus in this area.

The selection at Union Lighting is truly impressive. They offer elegant, classy fixtures that stand out from the more generic or tacky options you might find at other stores. Whether you’re looking for modern, traditional, or transitional styles, their curated collection has something for everyone. What’s even more notable is that they seem to be ahead of the curve—fixtures we saw here only appeared in other stores months later, often as cheaper imitations. If you want trendsetting designs, this is the place to go.

That said, the prices are on the higher end, though they are comparable to what you’d find at high-end retailers like Mayfair, especially during sales. While the quality justifies the cost, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re on a tighter budget.

The service was mostly good, but there were a few hiccups. We experienced some delays, which we were told was because they source their stock directly from manufacturers. While this ensures authenticity and quality, it can be a bit frustrating if you’re in a hurry. Additionally, there was a minor mix-up with one of the items we were interested in. However, our representative, Sabrina, and the manager, Roy, were very helpful and worked hard to find a solution that worked for us. Their professionalism and kindness definitely saved the experience.

Overall, Union Lighting is a great store with a lot to offer, but there’s room for improvement in terms of service efficiency. I’d give them a solid **4/5 stars**. I have purchased fixtures in the past from Union lighting and have been very happy.

Most recently I used their online consultation for the mudroom as I was uncertain what size fixture would be suitable. Cindy was excellent! Her communication was wonderful. Her suggestions of fixtures showed she cared about doing the best for this small job. Cindy asked questions about style and budget. I’m excited to receive my new lights!

I had a wonderful customer service experience with Thomas who greatly assisted me with a replacement and a refund for a few products I ordered.

It was so refreshing interacting with Thomas! He acted promptly, professionally, was kind and processed everything so quickly. He also kept me updated on the replacement without having to follow up. If only everyone was like Thomas!

I purchased the lighting online. The staff at union were amazing. Replying to my claim of damaged goods was a quick response & kept me posted with the progress. Once they heard from the supplier they quickly refunded my entire purchase. No hassles with anything. The service was amazing & I will use them in the future. They do not return damage cost even if things are in good condition upon return. Also if wax is on a table clothes it’s not covered under that already paid damage cost and they will charge you for a new table cloth. Not worth the head ache to rent from them. They charge you to pay with credit card.

I had a disappointing experience with this vendor. Despite giving them weeks of notice, they failed to update my quote or remove items I had specifically asked to be deleted. When I followed up, they still attempted to charge me for those items, which was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the customer service left much to be desired — the woman I spoke with on the phone was quite rude and difficult to communicate with, which made the entire process unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend this vendor based on my experience.
Planning a wedding is already stressful enough, and they only added to my stress in planning what should be a very fun and exciting day!

Noreta’s Decor provided the luxury sofa and chairs, backdrop with lighting, flowers and decor for my event. Table cloths with runners, flowers with beautiful lighting to illuminate the table top flowers for my engagement party as well. I highly recommend their services in Calgary! They’re also the nicest people and a dream to work with. I had my party at TEATRO and Noreta’s decor really transformed the venue to make it beautiful.

Noretas Decor Inc. did the decorations for one of my very large events at the Glenmore Inn Convention Centre some years ago and they did a fabulous job! I came to revisit her website as I have another event coming up and I would like to work with her again. We were looking for a decorator for our daughter's wedding and were recommended a certain bollywood style decor company which it seemed would provide the goods, however their contract was so terrible that we could not go about signing it. This resulted in valuable time lost and we were looking around frantically for an alternate. A friend recommended Noretas Decor Inc. We had a meeting with them and found the owner to be very professional and the best part was that he understood our vision and was even willing to experiment with our ideas. To cut a long story short, Noretas delivered amazing decor at a very reasonable price and were highly appreciated by all the guests. I purchased a light fixture and unfortunately part of it was broken. I was lucky to have Julie on my side. After several attempts with the lighting company, we received the bad news that this company was out of business. No matter what, Julie continues to find solutions. She contacted other lighting companies but also without success.
Finally, she offered to replace my light fixture with another of equivalent value. I preferred to repair the chandelier myself.
You know what? It was missing crystals to complete the installation. Julie supported me until the end and sent me the missing crystals.
I have rarely seen customer service as impeccable as the one I received from Julie. So you can have peace of mind when you shop at Starlight Lighting.

I did not think poor customer service like this still existed. Ordered and paid for lights in May, three months later no updates despite my many unanswered follow ups. Finally, I walked in to ask and was treated like I shouldn’t be there … all three times I went! There was no one else in the store any of the times. How does service and treatment like this still keep a business around? Maybe this person will soon be gone and a more tolerable person replaces him. Brutal.

Ordered lights for my house off of their website. I called soon after and they said it would take 2 weeks. Over a month later they showed up. I returned them as soon as they showed up because my house is for sale. They charged me 50% for returning them!!! (25% for stocking??? And 25% for shipping??? I didn't even open the box they were delivered in. I encourage to avoid this company at all costs. I usually try to shop local but its not worth the waste of time and money. If i could they would get zero stars.

Read the reviews from the past year. It should be clear that you do not want to trust Starlight. In the last two years, I have called at least six times and visited the store three times despite living two hours away, about a faulty light fixture they sold me. Every time I speak to the owner he claims to have a vague recollection once I go through the details - and then promises to contact the manufacturer and do something about it. Crickets.

We booked the 3rd floor of Princeton for our staff work party and cannot say enough great things about this place! Nik was a pleasure to work with, very accommodating and responsive to our questions. Loved the historic charm of the building combined with the mirrors, chandeliers, and decorative accents. Because it's such a unique space, there wasn't a lot of decor needed to dress it up. They took care of all the tables, seating, decor, and place settings that made it even more festive and tasteful. Having access to the rooftop patio was a bonus with a great view of downtown.

On the day of our event, Nik and the bar staff demonstrated excellent hospitality that was exemplary. The caterers that they sourced provided a delicious meal that went over well with everyone. My only piece of constructive feedback would be the sound system. It was a high-quality tower speaker, but because of the "L" shape of the venue, some found it difficult to hear the audio clearly during a video we played. Having wall or ceiling speakers around the venue would make it even more amazing.

I have a slightly different experience here as well. Was looking for a job about 15 years ago and the owner was tapping me for my Casino inside knowledge. I needed a job and this person was trying to get trade secrets with no firm job offer. Hope this person no longer works or owns this place. So unprofessional. They got nothing from me....either pay me for my knowledge or no dice.

Now as my experience in the store...well...no welcome and hardly any customer service. The place was a bit dirty...(and this might sound funny for a lighting store)...but the place seemed a bit 'shady'. (damn I am funny)

We went in and found a fan that we liked that has the fan and a light on it. Then when we decided to take it, them came to us saying that the scu on the light was not right and didn't include the light. They then wanted to charge me an extra 149$. Total rip-off. Don't shop here.

Update, we looked online for same fan and found it for 150 less and it includes the light. What a rip-off. Never going there again.

You mention that the sale doesn't include the light but the price on wall never stated that. That is wrong and you should abide by that.

Insane truck driver drove above the speed limit into incoming traffic to pass a bus. Completely unnecessary as they were headed to a red light. It was this company's truck. Teach your drivers defensive driving or someone's gonna get hurt!

My husband and I Love Robertson Electric but it would be nice to be able to speak our language which is French especially when we don't know the correct word in English,.

A great store for anything related to lighting. They have a huge selection of lamps, for any room or taste. Hundreds of models are available in store to look at and choose from, and there are hundreds more that they can order for you. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Had a great experience getting parts. The gentleman there was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The lady who checked us out was likewise great to deal with, and she cheerfully helped me with a return the following business day. Made my afternoon - thanks!

We renovated our bathrooms, hallway and powder room. We bought new vanities, faucets and a toilet from EP Store, and had everything installed, including new tiles for the hallway and powder room. Hamza, their customer representative was great - he was very helpful with our selection process, with ordering and coordinating. Carlos and Kevin, who installed the vanities, the new plumbing and tiles, did an excellent job, and dealt with all the unexpected issues in a timely fashion, and found solutions for everything. Great experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend the store.

I must give 5 PLUS stars to this store located in Bells Corners. I am doing a major renovation and have purchased lighting, toilets, vanities, a tub, ceiling fans and shower fixtures.

I used the Electrical and Plumbing store (EP store) to remove an old kitchen sink and installed a new kitchen sink. Jim was extremely helpful and found new kitchen sink that would fit in the extremely large hole - used by the old kitchen sink. I called several kitchen stores in Ottawa and only the EP store found me an affordable kitchen sink to replace the old sink. Jim also found 2 contractors that came to my house in the country (near Cornwall) to remove and install the kitchen sink. The 2 contractors were very professional. They asked for my input before installing the new sink. To make sure the new sink was installed perfectly. I totally recommend the EP store and would use them again. Thanks Jim and EP store for my new kitchen sink. Washing dishes and food is much easier and better with the new kitchen sink.

This is a first class Auto Parts & Repair Center with the Best services all the way from the Reception/management to the Highly skilled mechanics and body specialist.
They have the best customer care and humble simplicity. I had a great experience when they attended to my Tucson and owe them some respect. I would recommend this place for anyone in need of the best results.

I had some rust removed off the back of my truck and it had made a hole through the truck. They did an amazing job patching and repairing it, and it looks like a brand new trunk door was put on. Also, the service was very friendly and very professional and the cost was quite a bit lower than I expected, I will return and have more work done in the future and highly recommend Eagle Head Auto! Bad experience I got paid for a lot for the service and they don’t get fix properly the nuts on my car and while i drive I noticed noise on my car and I check it on it I saw this thing two bolt not properly back in place… it’s expensive labour on this shop not recommended it…

I got a flat tire on the highway, and even though they were already closed, they still went out of their way to help us. Thanks to their kindness and professionalism, we were able to continue our 300 km journey safely. Truly grateful for their excellent service! Highly recommend!

Really dissatisfied with our service today. First we asked if the Levelor blinds were on sale, there was a sign, and the employee said yes they were, so we proceeded to ask for 3 blinds to be cut. First they were not enthused about having to help us. They cut 1, and when we asked where the other 2 were they responded "oh...you'll have to wait a bit." About 15 minutes later they come back to cut the other ones. We take them to the front to pay where we checked to make sure the sale was applied when we are informed that "oh, that's for custom orders only". We were buying 3 because of the great sale, then ended up walking out paying full price on something we were only buying because they were on sale. Extremely disappointed.

It's hard to review this store. Can't complain about the work people are doing because nobody works there.

Staff nice. Handy to have in town. Higher prices than some other DIY stores.
