We are beyond happy with our choice of using Foxglove for our wedding florals. We worked with Megan, and she understood our vision immediately. Her communication was a highlight, and she was able to easily adapt to any changes that were needed.

The arrangements looked incredible in person, and photographed beautifully. We would highly recommend Foxglove to anyone, especially if florals are a priority for your wedding!

We used Foxglove Studios for our wedding day flowers and we could not be happier. Tasha completely nailed the vision that I was going for and had a unique approach to her arrangements while bringing in my wants. The floral hedge used for our ceremony was exactly what we pictured. Queen Wedding Decor was my one-stop shop for wedding furniture, tableware, and decor. I got cross-back wooden chairs for my guests for the reception, goblet cups, napkins, frame and decor for the seating chart, wedding arch, wedding cake table, and so much more. I purchased flowers and rented tablecloths from Queena for my wedding this year. Her pricing is more than reasonable as I found places like Michaels to be very expensive and Amazon to be of low quality. Queena was always friendly and willing to help with our needs. I showed her the flowers I wanted to purchase for our arch and she recommended that I use less flowers than I was going to purchase. I felt that she genuinely cared about her customers over making a profit. She carries a variety of supplies that you can rent as well and the process is very easy. I highly recommend her services especially if you plan on hosting an intimate wedding because her store is a one-stop shop!

We just got married over the long weekend. We contacted Ashley for her decorations and we ended up hiring her as our day of coordinator as well!
Let me tell you, a lot of people say "the wedding just flew by, I don't remember much of it". Well my wife and I won't be able to say that, because Ashley was there for us. We were able to enjoy it fully. Our decorations looked great. Having your day of coordinator be your decorator as well is huge.
She was there with us from 10:30am (church) and at the venue at 3pm until 2:30am. She charges a fair price for the peace of mind we got from it.
My wife and I are very last minute people. We gave her some last minute changes and she was just okay with all of it. She didn't seem stressed at all, just calm and collected.
She is a great choice :)

I am honestly super impressed and happy with the final results. Throughout the whole process, Vivian was super patient, responsive and attentive to me and my husband's needs.

We rented tents for our wedding from this company and they were just phenomenal to work with. The weather for the wedding was absolutely atrocious but the quality and the security of the tents made the experience so wonderful not only for us but for all of our guests as well.

Working with Party Rental Depot was truly a delight. Sadie was very helpful and accommodated ever request we made with ease. The tent, bathrooms, dance floors, tables, chairs, EVERYTHING arrived on time, even ahead of schedule and went up beautifully. The team was friendly. The take down was efficient, and so nice not to have to complete ourselves after our big event. I liked that everything was available to rent from 1 vendor, and that they handled everything. Very pleased with the overall experience.

The photographer was lovely and we are excited to see all of the beautiful shots! The photobooth is a must! We have still been receiving raving reviews about the food and how lovely of a bartender Matthew was. And no one can stop talking about Chris, the DJ and how he brought the party and the party never stopped!

Bellamy Loft took care of everything at an extremely reasonable price. Our officiant was attentive and charismatic. Our photographer had attention to detail. The venue was perfect. We cannot say enough good things about Black Earth Floral!!! They absolutely blew us out of the water with the attention to detail and ability Karla had to take what we described over the phone and turn it into exactly what we wanted and more. Our flowers were absolutely stunning and personalized to us! I was blown away by my bouquet and my husband’s boutonniere, which were both stunning. Even when my husband first saw my bouquet he was surprised at how Karla had managed to nail it on the head and deliver a bouquet that was exactly what we wanted. The prices were incredibly reasonable as well, for the quality of product delivered I truly think she could charge a lot more, but we also appreciated how affordable our flowers were. Karla was very easy to deal with both over the phone and we communicated often via text which made things so much easier for us. Karla’s attention to detail is evident and it shows. She provided us with a bouquet, boutonniere, reception table runner, eucalyptus cuts for our place settings, and decorative flowers for the ceremony arch. The arch was a show stopper and was absolutely stunning. My bouquet was unique, stunning colours and beautifully arranged. Karla set up the ceremony arch flowers and table runners. Every piece that Karla and Black Earth floral made for us was elegant, stunning, thoughtfully arranged, aligned with our vision, and exceptionally beautiful. We even still have the succulents from my husband’s boutonniere and my bouquet which we have kept and grown in pots in our home.

We engaged Karla at Black Earth Floral for our wedding in Calgary on October 9, 2022. Firstly, our florals were the actual most beautiful florals I have ever seen. They were perfect, they were exactly in the style and colour palette that we had discussed months earlier, and we were blown away. Secondly, from the start, Karla was so easy to work with. Super friendly and collaborative, and she didn’t try to upsell us when we were pretty sure we were looking for a more limited scope, including small bud-vase installations for our tables instead of large centrepieces. She helped us explore and get at the aesthetic we were looking for, and it turned out perfectly. In the lead-up to our wedding, she was patient when we sent her follow-up info about our colour palette having shifted, and all the info we sent clearly made its way into our file, because the final product responded to the update! And she was super communicative in advance when it turned out one of the flowers we had requested would not be available in time for our wedding. We have recommended and would recommend Karla and the BEF team to anyone getting married. We absolutely loved her!

I ordered my wedding flowers from Black Earth Floral. Even though my order was small (a bouquet and a small table decoration), Karla was excited about me being her client, and gave me her full attention. She helped me negotiate the best use of my small budget, and even suggested budget-friendly aisle decor. The flowers on the day of the wedding were fresh & beautifully arranged, and they lasted for 1-2 weeks after the wedding (depending on the flower). I simply can’t say enough good things about Kendra and her team!!! We did a custom bloom box workshop and she was incredible from start to finish—and the class was a *hit* as a girls night out. Having the whole studio to ourselves and Kendra’s undivided attention and instruction really made it special. We really enjoyed our time and all walked away with tons of new understanding about floral care and arranging! She was super knowledgeable and so kind while teaching us. The space is also just so lovely to be in and all of their available arrangements, pots, and cute little candles, etc were beautiful! We were all so impressed by the experience as a whole. We did the pumpkin succulent workshop and I would 10/10 recommend it. Our pumpkins/succulent gardens look fantastic. The time we spent creating them was relaxing and was perfect for my current need for a creative outlet that doesn’t actually require me to have any real creative skill. The gentle guidance provided ensured we executed our own personalized visions but that they still looked great in the end.

Mandy and Kendra are very friendly, quick to react to different situations during the workshop, and just amazing post-workshop follow-up services as well. They did a great job leading a 40+ people corporate workshop. My team is blown away by this workshop and the kokedama plants they get to take home.

Just spent the most beautiful evening with friends and family putting together our April Easter Center pieces at the Creative edge workshop! It was so much fun and I landed a lot! The flowers are the best quality, vibrant colours and smell amazing! The store is so cute, clean, and the staff are so friendly and willing to help. I wish I could curl up with a book in the corner because being around so much beauty of bouquets and flowers is relaxing and inspiring!

Both Kristyn and Kyley were incredible, the duo took care of our wedding planning and dj services (with photo booth) this past weekend. All the setup and takedown was handled very well, kyley had the party going all night and dancefloor was full! They went above and beyond at our wedding and traveled from Calgary to BC to accommodate us at TWO different locations for the ceremony and reception. Not only did they fulfill everything we asked as far as specific decor, setup, and venue specific requests but they even ran out to grab us lighting we had completely forgotten and refill our stock of limes when our venue ran out!

January 25, 2024 Wedding - Innisfail Golf Club Kristyn and Kyley are absolutely lovely human beings! They made our special day run as smooth as possible right down to the emergency lint roller and toddler-turned-apprentice-DJ 🩷🩷🩷 The transition from ceremony to reception was flawless and they were on top of all necessary schedule changes that happened on-the-fly. I really appreciated being able to have video meetings when in-person was not feasible and the spreadsheet timeline of events for the day eased a lot of anxiety! Their help with vendors was phenomenal!! They did an amazing job helping to find the right ones to meet our unique needs. They are very personable and friendly - Kyley and Kristyn are the super duo for your next event! I promise you won't be disappointed!

When we left two honest review, it was deleted after the vendor disputed both rewards! Even after sending proof, the app said it could take months to review. This platform protects vendors, not users.

We trusted the ratings and ended up working with a fraudulent vendor. When we shared our review, it was immediately removed, and we were asked to provide proof because the vendor disputed it. We submitted all the evidence, but the platform simply responded that reviewing it could take months.

Our team enjoys working with EventSource to attract leads and bookings for events of all types. The dashboard is easy to use and maintain and the sales rep (Jonathan) is so caring of his clients.

Johnathan was incredible to work with. He helped us set up our account, checked in on us regularly to see how it was going and was very hands-on. Incredible experience working with him and Eventsource.

EventSource has been a great way for our venues to showcase what we do best and reach a large audience to obtain special events! I have purchased flowers from Flower Chix before and heard good things regarding events so booked a meeting regarding a wedding and had a inspiration board prepared, had the meeting, was told I would receive the quote which due to a few requests had to change a few things back and forth. Was told a month before the date would have a 2nd meeting to confirm selections and booking and pickup details- no communications at all got a call few days after a month out asking for payment.
When we called back regarding payment they had no idea how much was remaining.

I had a feeling that the flowers would come not as I requested, so asked for them to confirm and or send pictures- I was told they don’t really do that and assured me that they would be beautiful.

As soon as the flowers were picked up by a family member and delivered to me they were exactly as I expected- wrong not the way I asked.

I wanted primarily wax flowers with one of the approved white flowers with some greens that I approved- light- with wax flowers being my favourite flower therefore the main.

Were the flowers lovely yes, was it what I asked for no, the bouquet was very heavy.

We were having a very small ceremony. This was not a big event.

Very disappointed. When I complained the response was- we will talk to the designer. And that was the last communication we received.

For weddings you expect more than a regular event. And it didn’t happen at all.
