Lauren worked with my husband and I for ten months leading up to our wedding and I can confidently say that her incredible work made the single largest impact on our day. Lauren expertly handled the wedding logistics leading up to and on the day of, taking away all of the pressure and stress from us. We were able to completely relax and enjoy our wedding because of the trust she built with us. Lauren also provided excellence guidance whenever we had questions or concerns with other vendors. She flawlessly executed our vision when it came to the look, feel and flow of our day. I constantly found myself saying "I can't believe how amazing everything looks, it's better than what I had showed her on Pinterest!". The cherry on top is that Lauren is amazing to work with. She is a true joy to be around and brings light and positivity with her. I'm incredibly grateful to Lauren and her assistant, Emma for making our wedding day the most incredible day of our lives.

Hands down this was the best decision we made for our wedding. Lauren, Emma, and Kass made our day so special. They were all so kind and thorough and they all had such great eye for detail and design. We received so many comments on how seamlessly the day was executed and I couldn't agree more, there was no point where I felt stressed or as if something wasn't going to plan. From directing family photos and group shots, to setting up decor and tearing it all down at the end of the night, they did everything so well.

Lauren is also such a kind person, truly the definition of someone who makes you feel like they've known you for a lifetime. Lauren and her team are amazing and I would suggest them to anyone looking for a full wedding planner or coordinator!

For my wedding, Erin Carmichael (co-owner and florist) provided us with boutonnières that died after 1 hour so we couldn't even take pictures with them. It's very disappointing since she charged us $20 for each boutonnière. When we complained, Stacey (co-owner) said: "flowers are living things and they die". When we emailed Erin some time later, she said: "I am happy to refund you" and "I will send the refund later today". But after that she ignored us and never refunded us, despite multiple reminders. Bad service.

The bouquets also died after a couple hours and looked too sad for pictures. When you pay so much for flowers ($125-200 per bouquet), you want to be able to take pictures with them but our photographers said they looked too tired. And it wasn't even hot that day.

Another issue we had with the florist is the backdrop behind our sweetheart table. We asked for 2 cherry blossom trees and a chandelier. She charged us $850 and the result was completely different than what we discussed. $850 for a few fake branches attached to a copper pipe, and a crooked chandelier which wasn't even on. Again, very disappointing. When we complained about it, she said: "I am very confused as to why you were unhappy with your head table backdrop" and then: "I stand behind what we provided".

Floral design is way overpriced and the flowers don't last. When you complain, they get defensive and blame it on you. Their creative freedom is more important than what the bride and groom ask.

Bouquet design and the centrepieces were nice.

Words cannot describe how grateful we are for Michael and Nancy. They brought our entire wedding vision to life in a way that was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Every detail; the florals, the stationery, the chairs, the table settings, was absolutely stunning.

What impressed us just as much as the artistry was the care and tireless work they put in behind the scenes. They thought of everything, made the process seamless, and created an atmosphere that took our breath away. Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous everything looked, and we know it’s thanks to their incredible talent.

As a local Wedding Planner, I have worked with Wedecor since 2011 and have always had my couples extremely happy with their design and decor. So much so that it is very common to have tears of joy when we do a room reveal with them before opening the doors to guests. Nancy's ability to design a gorgeous wedding is unbelievable, making suggestions that align with our couples vision but also adding in ideas they never had thought of. Their inventory is also the largest in the city with new additions coming in for every wedding season so it just grows and grows! They are also the preferred decorator and florist at many venues which can help with things like earlier access for set ups. Highly recommend!

We worked with Mary for our wedding rentals, which included string lights, chairs, linens and napkins. The process was smooth from start to finish and communication was easy. We rented chairs for our wedding from Special Event Rentals and had a wonderful experience. Nice chairs MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Worth every penny. Special shout out to Debbie who was always kind and great to connect with even though I had endless questions and little changes. Another shout out to the delivery folks who were perfectly on time and to the warehouse staff. We returned our chairs via uhaul and the warehouse staff gave great instructions to make sure everything was returned perfectly. The chairs are so nice and they weren't heavy, I was able to help organize them at/after the event, and at the same time they were sturdy and durable. We went with the chiavari mesh back chairs and they matched the fall cozy fairy vibe I was going for. Thank you!

Weekend pricing was a crazy amount at $459 for both drop off and pickup. So I made arrangements to have pickup on the Monday, to save some money. I had to fight to get anything back. and it was not what I expected at all... At least the setup crew was great and quick.
Kim was so unprofessional. Was even going to give me the wrong size tables when they had the correct size. Never use them again.

The team at Special Event Rentals Calgary is beyond wonderful. I cannot thank them enough. From Ms. Kim who managed all of our rental bookings and changes without one misstep, to the team in the warehouse who work so hard to make sure nothing is missed, all the way to the drivers Dale and Manelo who dealt with on the spot changes when they arrived to deliver at the venue.

Some of the staff was really rude and when trying to ask a question , getting responses that made me feel like I was stupid for asking. Furthermore, I was starting to feel untrusted in the store when I had them falling me over because I was lost on what I needed but didn't dare ask them for help any longer. I believe they were quick to judge people. And made a point of letting a person know when your not wanted in their store. Worst experience ever coming from a small town that o would normally praise that the small town stores normally give excellent customer service. So anyone looking for those building materials etc just stick to the canadain tire around the corner

I’ve been in a few times and they were very helpful. I went in today to spend $130 and as walked in a young sales assistant told me enthusiastically I had to have my reusable bag at the checkout.! I assume they were pre-accusing me of being a thief which doesn’t leave a great taste in the mouth. Never had any store do this before and not sure why I was humiliated at the entrance when I was happy to support a local store. Will not be going back.

The guy in charge of closing the store at this store location on August 26, 2025 at 7:54pm, should be retrained in customer service. I approached to enter the store at 7:54pm and he could not let me in because he felt I was too late and the store was closing in 5mins. I have gone to other stores like Walmart and just a minute before closing and they have let me in. I am very disappointed by this treatment. I have had very pleasant experience shopping at this store in the past and really treated well by other customer associates, but this fella's understanding of good customer service leaves much to be desired.

We booked Priya – 613 Artistry more than a month in advance for our baby shower, and she backed out the day before the event.

There were no “constant changes” as she claims. From day one, we clearly said we did not want pink, or dark green balloons because this was a gender reveal. She stuck with her peacock theme anyway, failed to plan, and then tried to shift the blame onto us.

Deposit was never the issue — it was only mentioned once. The real issue was her poor communication, lack of planning, and last-minute denial, which has been absolutely brutal for us with the event so close.

Instead of delivering on her commitments, Priya simply gave up at the last moment. This was unprofessional, unreliable, and deeply unfair. If you are trusting her with an important event, beware — she can back out and leave you stranded.

Hands down the best in town! Priya did such an amazing job for our baby shower. I always dreamed of having a pretty setup created for our baby shower and Priya did just that - transformed my dreams into a reality, full of Blooms, Butterflies and Bows!

I wanted a digital floral arch - Priya customized it for us! The colour combinations of the balloons and blooms were on point. She took the time to visit the venue in advance and plan for the event accordingly. Everything was setup before time. Her efforts in this beautiful decor were well appreciated by all our guests as well!

She was nice enough to show me all the different products available in the showroom.
We shared ideas and spent a very pleasant hour+ trying out ideas on a empty table in showroom to get a visual on how it would all look together. Results came out beautifully.
I didn’t spend a crazy amount on rentals but they treated me as if I did. Would highly recommend Cindy as a consultant and this rental company for any occasion.

Had a horrible experience with them. Some items were missing when they did the delivery on the wedding day, and we tried contacting them several times but couldn’t reach them by phone or email, which added unnecessary stress on top of an already stressful day. They were also late for the pick up after the wedding which caused us to be late for the pick up deadline imposed by the venue and resulted in extra charges for us...Overall, very bad customer service and unprofessional. I would not recommend at all. Had a way better experience with the other rental service we also used for the wedding.

We rented from Celebrations Group for our outdoor wedding in 2022. We needed to rent almost everything for the event and we were able to get all we needed through them and for cheaper!

Cindy was our point of contact and she was amazing! Out of all the companies we reached out to for quotes, she was the only one who invited us to their show room to go over all our options. She took the time to talk things over, made great suggestions to ensure we had all we needed and was extremely honest and solutions oriented while helping us to fit our budget!

The entire staff was easy to communicate with by email and were always available for any additional questions I had. They also took the time to adjust the samples of the flowers included so that it was exactly what I wanted it to be.

I initially made an appointment asking to meet for my wedding and knowing that my theme was "starry night" and Jessica immediately answered me and she was super excited to work with me. I don't know how to express how much I love that girl, she made me more excited for my wedding than I was before I met her! She had so many cute ideas to tie together the theme, and it ended up being soooooo beautiful! The florals (which were silk flowers) looked so real that at the end of the night, the venue staff stored them in the fridge LOL, can't think of a better example of how high their quality is! Everything looked so magical, and they were SOOOO easy to work with and they carried out my vision stress free. I love decor and more and I will recommend Jessica and her team to EVERYONE!

Hanry and Ideal Wedding Designs did a fantastic job at our wedding. We ordered 20 centrepieces, stage design, welcome table with card box and church decor. Communication was seamless and timely. They even offered us a free upgrade on the stage design as they were debuting a new design and needed content for promotion. Our guests were stunned and we received countless compliments on how beautiful everything looked. The price was also very reasonable for the amount of work that was put in, which included set up and take down. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Ideal Wedding Designs! Hanry and his team were able to deliver exactly what we wanted! Choosing the decor and adding some changes were done smoothly. The only thing I would change is having the stage covers on properly as they kept coming off. The other thing was that there was no money box provided, which was pretty important.
Otherwise, everything was amazing.

Henry and his team decorated my Hindu wedding and wedding reception and it came out beautifully! They were so accommodating anytime I wanted to change or add anything and were a pleasure to work with! A few days before my wedding they were even kind enough to offer me the option of a new backdrop they had recently gotten in stock and I was absolutely blown away with how everything came out!!

I booked this company for my out of town wedding. Not only did half of my linens not get sent out with my husband, I was BARELY compensated. I had table cloths that you could see the legs of tables because of them. No apology. No reimbursment except what they forgot. Do NOT use them!!!!

We rented candelabras from Modern Event Rentals for our wedding in Banff. The rental company in the Bow Valley was not able to provide the specific candelabra we wanted, so we are glad it worked out to rent from Modern Event Rentals. Macklynn very responsive and great to deal with via email. Cost-wise, the rental was comparable to other companies we looked at.

I shop here all the time, I pay in advance, they keep it for me until I am coming to pick up, and I don't know why those people thinks they can take away the arch that I paid already and giving a bad review about it. The girls here are ethical and they know what they're doing. If you have a favorite product don’t wait hours to come back GET IT RIGHt AWAY!

I love this place! It has amazing stuff for wedding decor, event decor and beautiful faux florals. However the past two times I’ve visited, the staff followed me around everywhere, made me feel really uncomfortable that you think I’m gonna steal something??? I didn’t wanna reduce any stars for this because it is an amazing place but please improve this, it’s not fun shopping when you have someone breathing down your neck especially during covid times. & me being the type of person who likes to think in peace about what I want to buy however with someone following me around the whole time makes me feel rushed. Usually I spend a lot of money there cause I end up loving everything but the last two times because of this incident I hardly bought anything cause I just wasn’t feeling right with staff following me around and literally being two steps away.
Hope you guys take this as constructive criticism and change!

The Quality of Chrome gold backdrops aren't worth the price. We have 1400 plus tax, sitting like trash in our warehouse, just after 1 use.

I purchased faux flowers from here to make my wedding bouquets and boutonnieres. They are priced competitively in comparison to shops like Michael's and the quality is good. They look very real in my opinion. I am so pleased with my purchase.

This is the worst worst place I’ve been treated as for customer service satisfaction!
I came all the way from Montréal! She said, not to pay taxes, go to bank get money!! I went to the bank and came back i came to pay it all sas good, then i saw a side that was damaged, i asked her to call her sister and adjust the price a little bit..then she called her sis and guess what her sister said not to lose a couple few dollars, NO ITS SOLD! I asked the owner how you can do that and she said she doesn’t care that i travelled from Montréal… that someone paid etransfer!!! I was there for 3 hours! 3 hours getting stuffs for about 2000$ . Sad for them! I’ll go to event decor supply!!!

We used the wonderful services of Party Time last week and not only was everything "as ordered and delivered on time" but the next day, we noticed that a couple of our own items must have been mixed up with the rental items when they were picked up. I called and spoke with Margaret who was delightful to deal with and when I came to pickup our stuff, there were more of our items included that we hadn't yet noticed were missing and everything was washed and packaged to return to us. Thank you to all involved for this excellent service!! I highly recommend Party Time!

ABP was absolutely wonderful to deal with, I rented the most gorgeous charger plates from them for my wedding. Communication was fast, prices fair and pickup/return super easy. Highly recommend !

Great place as they received my individual order as well as office/corporate/weddings. A large showroom is now being renovated to show what is available on a large scale (chairs, place settings, linen). Renting is good for the environment 😊

Party Time Rentals is an affordable place to get what you need for your event. We rented about $1800 worth of dishes, cutlery, chairs, etc delivered to our wedding.

A couple of negative points unfortunately:

1. The delivery drivers got completely lost and I needed to send someone to a common location to direct them to the wedding (which was at a Community Centre in a small town).
2. There were a few missing dishes and glasses. (The count was SHORT - ouch)
3. We had to do some dishes because some glasses were still dirty (lipstick stains, dried food, etc)
4. It took 6 interactions and multiple employees for us to get a full product catalogue.

I would suggest them if you are in a time crunch or on a serious budget otherwise spend the extra money for piece of mind in the moments before your event.

We had the pleasure of working with Element Event Solutions for our recent State of the Wedding Industry Event at Steam Whistle Brewery, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Lee Ann and her team were fantastic from start to finish—professional, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. The mock-up table collection they provided was absolutely stunning and of exceptional quality. Delivery and pick-up were seamless and right on schedule, which made our planning process so much smoother. If you're looking for stylish, high-quality rentals and a team that truly cares, we highly recommend Element Event Solutions!

We used Element Event Solutions for my daughter's wedding. They are pros. Everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend Element Event Solutions.

Do not go with this company if you value your time. Today, staff arrived 25 minutes early, which left us scrambling to find someone to let them in. This afternoon, they are, as of yet, 40 minutes late for pick-up. There is no after hours number to call, so we have no way to figure out where on earth the staff went.

Update: Staff just finished picking up the 40ish tables. They arrived an hour and ten minutes late and finished 20 minutes after that. We eventually got a hold of the morning driver, who was no longer at work and he was able to get a truck sent to us.

Horrible service, damaged and dirty products, delivery drivers are very rude and done want to deliver heavy items past the doorstep. They want to charge seperate delivery fees for every item but its no one fault that they decided to buy out half the rental companies in the GTA and things are coming from multiple warehouses.

I did not actually use this company, so I cannot comment on their product, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
I filled out thier online quote and was informed that a representative would contact me for more information. I waited a week and no one called. I decided to call them and was told there was no record of my quote, so I placed the order over the phone. I gave my email address and was told to expect an email with billing information. No email arrived for several days. I called the company again this morning and explained what was going on. The woman who answered said she would transfer me to a sales rep. I got voicemail so I hung up and called back. It went straight to voicemail again. I decided to go with another company (which turned out to be much cheaper), so I called back to let them know I would not require their equipment. I was transferred to another random sales rep and it went to voicemail again. I left a message cancelling. A representative called me back within ten minutes of leaving the voicemail, apologizing and offering to send the bill, which I declined as I went with an alternative company.
