It is one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen and it’s so unique. So much care and love went into the work, Jeff was also able to source an authentic stone for my ring. We also had me wedding band made to match with my engagement ring, it also turned out beautiful! Erin and Jeff did an excellent job of helping me find a unique men's wedding band. This included working through several expertly designed custom bands, and helping me track down some amazing designs that I couldn't find anywhere else in the city.

I had a custom engagement ring designed with Premier Gems and I would highly recommend them! From start to finish Erin was easy to work with and worked with me to stay within my provided budget. I was given multiple options for the center stone and allowed to handle each before making a final decision. Most of the process was done through email and Erin was always quick to reply whenever I had a question or concern. She also kept me up to date throughout the entire process with photos of sketches, renderings and models. The final product was perfect and my fiance simply loves it! I had Premier Gems recommended to me by a friend who also used their services, and was very impressed with everything they offered. We were very pleased with our chai flavoured wedding cake from Pretty Sweet Bakeshop! The cake was absolutely delicious, and every bite was full of incredible flavour. We went with a simple design, but the presentation was still stunning, and it fit our wedding perfectly. Ok, so I work at a restaurant in the NW and tonight I had the extreme pleasure of one of my tables graciously giving me one of these cupcakes, and….WOW!!

First impressions:
When I was loading them onto a nice tray, me and another manger noted that these were some of the moistest looking cupcakes we had ever seen (and we see a lot of cake and cupcakes that guests bring in).
Also the buttercream looked Sooooo silky smooth, which as a passionate home baker I appreciate because I know it takes extra attention to detail to get all those air bubbles out.

After dropping them off at the table I had to ask where they were from because we had many servers stop us to ask where they were from because the looked so delicious, and the lovely table let us in on the little secret, that is you guys!

Later when I brought the few remaining cupcakes back (like I said originally) they gave me one, and after a long day this cupcake did not disappoint!

It was the most moist, not to sweet and perfectly balanced , silky smooth cupcake I have EVER had!

Next time I am in the south I will definitely be coming to check you out ❤️

My husband and I live in Edmonton, and chose pretty sweet bake shop Calgary for our wedding cake SOLELY off reviews and photos. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of dealing with Vicki Manness who made the entire process from start to finish seamless and easy. The cake was gorgeous, VERY tasty (the entire table was making sounds lol) and packaged well. We took our cake to Canmore for our ceremony the next day and it stood through travel and bags of ice. The flowers were fresh and designed so well.
Thank you very very much for an incredible cake and experience. I can’t wait to use you guys for our one year anniversary and get cupcakes to match, so we can relive the experience lol. 10/10

Print Calgary saved me when I needed to print handouts for a memorial service. I printed them through an online service and they arrived but weren’t up to par and there wouldn’t have been time to re order. Print Calgary was able to make the adjustments needed to the design and have them printed for me in the same week. Salman was the most excellent person to deal with. I have learned my lesson and will only ever be printing through here from now on.

Terrible experience. I booked a Saturday 10am appointment online for my daughter and her friend, only to find the store closed. Their posted store hours say they open at 10am, yet when I called, I was told they don’t open until 11 and that the booking system “had issues”—something they were already aware of. The woman said she would be there in 15 minutes. We waited over 30 minutes for someone to arrive. When she finally showed up, she was rude, rushed us in, and told us she didn’t think they had anything we’d want. Completely unprofessional and disappointing.

She is kind, passionate and extremely knowledgeable. Our 1 hour appt turned in to 2 hours and she was so patient and helpful. The dresses are beautiful and if she doesn’t have your size, she will show you alternates or order it for you!!! I would highly recommend Prom Forever, you will not be disappointed!!!

We have attended Pumpkins After Dark as a family every Halloween season for the past four years. The pumpkin displays are situated on a loop trail— lots of lights and music and fog. We always enjoy seeing the new displays and seeing which movies or characters are represented. Our favourite always is the pumpkin light tunnel. This year they have also added some actors along the trail who engage with viewers and make the scenes come to life— my kids really enjoyed that. It's not scary, so it's suitable for young kids.

The artistry of the pumpkin displays is incredible — so much detail and creativity goes into every scene. The trail is well-lit and easy to follow, making it fun for families, but there are also lots of little surprises that Halloween lovers like me really appreciate.

I also noticed some great upgrades this year — from the themed areas to the overall flow of the event, it feels like they’ve really invested in making the experience more magical. ... plus the bar doesn't hurt ;)

Tickets weren’t too expensive, and it wasn’t too busy considering we went on week day. Lots of cool pumpkin carvings and things to check out. We took my boyfriend’s daughter and she absolutely loved it, overall had a great time creating new memories and hopefully starting off new Halloween traditions

The carved pumpkins were outstanding. This was our first time at Pumpkins After Dark and we were amazed at the pumpkin carvings, detail and lights. All levels of skill with the best being something that almost cannot be described. This is an amazing event for the young and old alike. The actual pumpkin displays are located up a set of stairs which would make it difficult for anyone with mobility issues. There are areas for very small children, and even a table where someone will carve you a pumpkin. Well worth the price of admission. Located at Olympic Park in SW Calgary.

This was okay. Signage could have been better as to how to get from parking lot to the main entrance. Staff were not super helpful. We had to approach at least 3 before someone could tell us where the outhouse was. Again, signage would have been helpful. The displays were dated & some were damaged. But they had a wide variety for all ages. This is likely more geared towards little kids and teens.

I had a great experience with them. I got Notary service from Mr. Gurinder Chahal. He is a very nice and professional person. After seeing my original documents he did notary within a very soft time. I have been here twice, once to check it out and the second time for a rehearsal dinner for our wedding (~20 adult guests). So we and our guests have had everything on the menu and it is all delicious!

For me personally the bouillabaisse was phenomenal when I had it and when my friend had it the second time we were there she agreed. The slow braised short ribs were also popular with our guests for the rehearsal dinner. Coquilles St Jacques and Calamari were our favorites of the appetizers.

Both times the meal was excellent, every dish was great and Yves and his fellow waiter were very friendly and supremely competent.

They were also great to work with for hosting a private event, as we were able to have the place all to ourselves for the rehearsal dinner with canapes and drinks before the main meal. The kitchen was also able to maintain the same quality of food for our event with all the orders coming in at once as it was when my parents and I visited the first time during normal operation.

I will definitely be coming back for date nights with my wife. Overall an absolutely incredible experience, and a true hidden gem.

Nice, quaint restaurant - I was craving for moules frites in the city that's done right - this hit the spot. We tried the Provençal and Vaudovan curry Moules frites. I can't take a favorite, they're both delicious. Pair it with their beautiful Chardonnay and order the French Martini to cap it off. We're about 40 kms away from the restaurant, and we'd happily go back to try the rest of the menu items. The calamari was also delicious. I wanted to order the tartare, but it was unavailable when we were there.

We have been here several times for dinner and lunch. We're so satisfied with all of the meals we ordered. Every dish was really tasty with flavour. Try their mussels, you'll know what I meant so tasty. Remember to order extra bread to dip with the mussel sauce to enjoy the full flavor in your mouth.

Amazing food!! And wonderful staff!! Went there last night with my husband and we tried 3 appetizers and we both ordered the mussels and fries and shared the cheesecake dessert. All of it were incredible, so satisfying to eat! Love the atmosphere and the service was awesome as well! Will definitely be going back!

We ordered a huge cake for our 50th wedding anniversary on August 23, the ladies suggested Ube, which wr found absolutely delicious and our guests loved it. It was beautifully decorated too.

We’ve ordered cakes from Purple Yum Cake Bakery several times, and they’ve been consistently excellent. The cakes always look amazing and taste just as good—moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced (not too sweet, which we really appreciate!).
The most recent cake we ordered was for my son’s 30th birthday, and it was a huge hit with everyone. The design was thoughtful and elegant, and the quality was outstanding, as always. You can really tell they put care into every detail.

Food is amazing. My favorite is the pianono. First time trying the mango crinkles today and it did not disappoint. The mango cake is really good as well. My mom’s house is just a block away from their shop and it’s always a treat to visit them with my little son. We like to walk there on warm days. Service is friendly and the patrons are kind and very helpful. It’s a hidden gem in Ranchlands. I recommend you visit. Maraming Salamat po!

PurpleYum made the best chocolate cake for my husband's 80th birthday; we had guests from across Canada for a big celebration. It was absolutely delicious, every single person loved it! I will be ordering a cake for every family special occasion!

My now husband purchased my engagement ring from Qakare. It is absolutely beautiful and I love it so much. Recently, I decided to custom make a ring with Qakare as a “push present” and something I can one day pass down. I’ve never designed a ring before and was nervous but Qakare made the process so easy, the ring is absolutely amazing and just how I envisioned it, they even engraved my daughters birthday into the back of the ring. I can’t wait to purchase more life long jewelry pieces from here. Quality and care is 11/10.

I had decided on a tennis bracelet from Qakare recently after stumbling upon some great reviews online. My bracelet initially had a clasp issue which was promptly addressed. A replacement was sent in place asap and it is gorgeous. Service and communication were honest and courteous from start to finish. I don't live in Calgary so I was not able to see the rings in person, but they have a Facetime appointment option on their site which I found very convenient! Always made sure my needs were met, replied and got back to me super quick which made the transaction simple and smooth and truly made my vision come alive, will definitely be recommending to others!

In my first experience with Quest after experience with dozens of operators in both Calgary and many other large cities they impressed me so much. Aman was incredible with timely and professional correspondence and the driver and vehicles were first rate. We were even upgraded free of charge on our return trip. Prices were very reasonable and I would recommend to anyone. They are now my preferred and only operator when I need a black car service for both personal special occasiona and all my business travel.

This business is a chain, operating in Vancouver as well as Calgary (as per the website) I booked their services through the Vancouver location but I have no reason to believe the service in Calgary would be better due to the head office replies and mistreatment. Again, to all brides and consumers, stay away!

I recently held an event for my daughter's 18th birthday at the Radisson Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service and professionalism. Special thanks to Events Coordinator Asya and Banquet Supervisor Damodar and the entire banquet team for their exceptional support—every transaction was smooth and stress-free, and their willingness to accommodate my changing requirements was truly appreciated. The speed of service was remarkable, and the staff remained flexible and attentive throughout. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I highly recommend the Radisson Hotel for any event needs.

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at!!
First the shuttle took forever to pick us up. The staff were very unhelpful and some even rude. The rooms were barely cleaned. They had an Indian party in ballroom directly below our room, with extremely loud music until 1am, so we couldn't sleep. We complained several times and they said they were turning the music off soon...from 10pm onwards! This place is a joke!

The only good thing about this place was the restaurant. The food and the service there were amazing!

We had our event on September 6th at the Radisson Ballroom and it was an amazing experience. Asya was our main contact and she was fantastic; super professional, easy to communicate with, and so supportive throughout the whole planning process.

The food was delicious, everyone loved it (not a single complaint!), and the banquet team was really helpful and friendly.

Honestly, our whole team would give the experience a perfect 10/10. We’d be happy to work with Asya and the Radisson team again anytime!

Recently stayed at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Centre recently in August. The location is about 10 minutes away from the airport.

When walking in, I was met with a big and exquisitely decorated reception room to greet and check in guests. The receptionists checked us in quickly and we went to our room. It was a double queen bed with a big closet and washroom. The bed was comfortable and sheets were changed however that would be that last of the positive review.

The bathroom was dirty and not properly cleaned. The toilet smelt like pee. Overall the washroom was more like a “take a quick shower” vibe and not clean at all.

When we went to the swimming pool, the hot tub jets were not working and again just seemed so grimy and nasty. There was a slide for kids and family’s but the main pool was lukewarm.

The overall experience of the hotel would be unfortunately ruined by the receptionists the next day. My family were rushing to grab the shuttle(1300 hours) and arrived just before it was time to go. At that point there were 2 other individuals waiting for the shuttle that was parked outside. We waiting till 1200 hours to ask where the driver is to transport us and the receptionist said they would be here soon. When my mom asked at 1200 hours where the receptionist is, they said that since we were “late” for the shuttle it would be leaving 1300 hours. This is not true as we arrived by the time the shuttle was pulling into the hotel. By this point, 2 people had taken the taxi as it was taking too long.

Overall, the hotel in my experience was not clean and lacked professionalism when it came to transport.

The hotel hosted a 2-day retreat for more than 40 of us, and we were very well taken care of. The facilities were excellent, the food was great, the staff was capable and courteous. Everything about the hotel/conference centre was excellent.

Rajveer banquet hall hands down one of the BEST in Calgary! The owners are absolutely incredible — kind, hardworking, and always going above and beyond to deliver exactly what you need (and more!). Their dedication and passion truly show in everything they do. They don’t just execute your vision — they elevate it, adding their own creativity and influence to make your event unforgettable. No one can beat their energy, service, or commitment. They make every party a dream come true. Highly, highly recommended!

I attended a party at Rajveer Banquet Hall this past weekend and had such a great time! The hall was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The staff were super friendly and made sure everything ran smoothly. Food was delicious and served on time, and the vibe overall was perfect for a celebration. Would definitely recommend this place for any event!

My husband and I had our reception at Rajveer Hall last week and it was amazing. It was a great pleasure working with the hall, management really did everything they could to bring our reception vision to life. We received so many compliments with how the hall was set up - many guests saying it was the best they had ever seen. The food at Rajveer Hall is the best out of any banquet hall venue in Calgary hands down. We had the best time at our reception here!

We would like to Thanked Preet, Rajveer and the whole team of Rajveer Banquet Hall Calgary for accommodating Hope’s 18th debut celebration, everyone had a blast & it was all wonderful!

The venue was truly a great place to celebrate huge & elegant gatherings. The place has a grand atmosphere, the space , decors & lightings were all perfect for the occasion. Plus their chef served delectable hot buffet meals, that everyone enjoyed.

The venue has a beautiful & clean washrooms with warmed toilet seats (and it’s automatic).

The best part, Preet & Rajveer are so supportive and they’re not just an ordinary host , they’re there with you to make sure your event will be a memorable one. (thank you)

We booked this place for our son's valima, as we had like 380 guests and we were not disappointed at all.
Owners both husband and wife are amazing individuals extremely professional and very helpful in all aspects.

Highly recommend them for all of your occasions their food and service were top notch every one of our guests loved it and their decorations were amazing.

The hotel is an easy walk from the bus stops or downtown train. The ride from the airport is about an hour. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. There was a coffee machine, a chair and desk. The TV worked with a reasonable selection of channels. The bathroom was a little worn and no separate shower cubicle. The water pressure was good. Some toiletries were provided along with a hairdryer. We did not eat here. We found it suitable for our needs. You can hear the traffic outside but it didn't disturb our rest. We would use this hotel again.

For the cost of the room I expected better. Room was freezing had to get maintenance. Next day we entered room and it was again too cold. Ordered extra blankets. No cream or sugar for coffee maker. If you need a fridge check first ours didn't have one. Room like the rest of hotel looks old (80's) and tired.
Saving grace was the friendly staff and the comfortable beds.

Reasonably clean room with a nice clean jetted tub and comfortable bed. The hotel itself has clearly seen better days but cleans up well enough.

However, I can't in good conscience recommend that anyone stay here, because I have never in my life had such a hard time with a hotel putting random holds and transactions on my credit card. First they pre-authorized my card for the entire stay plus incidentals on my arrival. Then the next day I found a pending transaction for an additional night, which I had to go to hotel management to get removed - they claimed this was a "system glitch". And now, nearly a full week after my arrival, I'm finding a pending transaction for the entire stay on my credit card - despite the fact that I have already paid for the stay and the transaction for that statement is posted on my credit card. The hotel is saying they can't remove it and I need to call my credit card company; the credit card company is saying to contact the hotel.

It's absolutely insane for a mid-range hotel to have had over $1000 in charges on my credit card for nearly a full week for a one weekend stay. I have never had this experience with any other hotel. Whatever process the Ramada Plaza uses for billing is clearly not functioning as it should. I won't be staying here again.

Where do I start…
Booked a room with a SEPARATE living room area because our toddler doesn’t sleep well in the same room as us. Requested a crib as well so we didn’t have to bring our own.

Call a few days before adding an extra day to our stay, they say it’s no problem we just need to downgrade to a queen bed from a king bed, we don’t care about the bed and add the extra room. I double check we still have the extra living room space that’s separated from the bed (a 1 bedroom apartment like set up.) everything is fine.

Call the day of the reservation at 12pm, make sure they are going to have the crib in the room ready to use because we’re going to be getting in late and just want to go straight to the room and transfer our sleeping toddler from the car to the crib. They are literally doing the room change over and assure us the crib will be in the room when we get there. My husband and mother in law are in the room, I’m talking on speakerphone and they heard them say the crib will be there. Also had to call three times to get through to someone, one person just hung up on me, should have been my first sign.

We get there and check in, did the pre check in and just ask if the crib is ready. They say it should be in the room and if not they’ll bring it right away. Tell us to go check the room for it, toddler has waken up at this point… great. Get to the room, no crib, of course. Husband plays with our toddler and I go down to see where the crib is at. The front desk person ASSURES me that the crib is on its way to the room and is basically telling me to calm down and not worry about it. I then advise her of our second issue we have, that we were given the wrong room. When they added another night and downgraded it to a queen they also downgraded our room and it no longer has a separate living room space. I’m focused on that issue at this point since they tell me the crib is on the way to the room, phone my husband who doesn’t answer and I assume he’s putting the toddler to bed in the CRIB that SHOULD BE IN THE ROOM AT THIS POINT.
They tell me that they don’t have the separate living rooms available and don’t have any adjoining rooms either, offer us a jacuzzi room, I don’t want a freaking jacuzzi I need a crib.
One of the front desk people said they don’t even have rooms like that at the hotel and the other one said they did, I’m just so confused at this point.

Just as they are finishing telling me that there are no rooms available of the kind we booked this guy comes out of the back and tells me that THEY DONT HAVE A CRIB IN THE HOTEL TO GIVE US.

I basically demand a refund, we were going to let the separate living room issue slide because it isn’t that big of a deal, we can deal with a not so great night sleep with our toddler if it comes to that, we just want to go to sleep because it’s late. But not having a crib was just not going to work.

Currently at the best western not far away for the same price (free parking and breakfast which this hotel did not have) called them when I found out they didn’t have the crib all along and they had a room saved for us and they had the crib in the freaking room before I even officially booked the room AND it has a separate living room.

Hoping that they actually properly did the refund but I’m not counting on it, will see in a few days if it worked.

Absolutely insane to do this to a family with a 1 year old toddler. It’s one thing if we were ill prepared and requested a crib last minute but we:
1. Made the booking requesting a crib/pack and play
2. Confirmed again when we added an extra day to our reservation
3. Called the day of when they would have been doing the change overs for the rooms to at this point triple check they had the freaking crib and they assured us they did

Service was awful, the people at the front desk acted like I was being pushy and over the top requesting the crib right away, like it’s 9pm and we need to put our toddler to bed now. Basically saying, we’re getting the crib, no need to worry. THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE ONE.

Nice hotel and loved dinner a the Fox restaurant. Did NOT experience the negative aspects some Reviews mention.
Our upgrade King Room was great, and clean. Balcony with 2 chairs ... provided a nice view of the city.

Yes, we did pay shipping cost.

We reserved tables for 18 and had an absolute blast. The live music was great, our server was top shelf and no one in our party waited for her to catch up on orders. For the group size, food arrived quickly and was delicious and came to our table hot.

Being my first time in Calgary for a national competition, one of our social nights was to ho line dancing at Ranchman’s. I’d never been line dancing before but my lord it was fun! We even got a private line dancing lesson but even if you don’t know the people are kind enough to lend a hand and help you learn. Service was awesome, the dancing was fun, the energy was great, the food was good. I went in with no expectations and was blown away. 12/10 I highly recommend this place for a fun active night out.

Went to Ranchmans to go see the show 'Forbidden nights'. The show was awesome and extremely funny! Funny I the best way possible. If they come back to Calgary again, my friends and I will be coming back again. It would be nice to see a show like this in a more established location like an event center or hall, but this bar made it work! It was spacious and fun.

Went this evening, a Saturday in March, had THE BEST time! The live band, vibes and general crowd was great, felt people were friendly and everyone was there just to enjoy the music, some drinks and lots of dancing!! The operator of the mechanical bull was great, friendly and helpful. Going for a ride made my night and highly recommend for any adventure seekers! I tried the line dance lessons with the headphones - that was new for me and was blown away at this new tech - could hear the instructions so clearly and had so much fun! Don’t forget your cowboy hat!🤠

Such a fun place! It gets very busy so book tables if you can!! Great spot for a girls night out 🤠👢
