Recently I was looking to pick up a bouquet on the way to a friend's birthday. Google showed me this sweet shop, just down the street from my house!

Decided to pop in & check it out, unaware that ready-to-go arrangements are not typical. (Oops!!) The owner & other staff were so amazing and quick to assure me they could make something.

I was asked 3 questions & in no time at all, this beautiful bouquet was created! My friend loves it, AND in a wild development, she told me this is the floral shop that she got her wedding flowers from 🤯🥰 and her Mom has been going to for years!!!

Thank you SO much for creating something so beautiful with zero notice (so sorry again!) and somehow being so kind & personable while you did it!

I had such a great experience at Peaseblossoms today! I got an absolutely beautiful bouquet and had a lovely conversation with Marika, the owner. I got so many compliments when I was walking home with this bouquet and it feels great to support a local business. Calgary has some gems and this place is certainly one of them!

Peaseblossoms is my absolute GoTo florist for all my arrangement needs. Marika goes above and beyond for every occasion making sure to understand not just the reason behind the occasional but to understand the nuance of the order - including if there are any pets in the recipient’s home. Beautiful bouquet (vase included), lovely lavender sachets, shower eucalyptus and chocolate. They worked with my mum, who is all the way in Australia to provide me with an amazing birthday suprise. Even though they are not usually open on a Monday, they still went above and beyond to get this gift to me on my birthday. Super accommodating and would highly recommend!

Hubby booked this for my 35th birthday. And I cannot speak highly enough about this whole experience. It was fun from start to finish and everyone had such a great time. Our hosts were so much fun and attentive! It is more physical than I originally thought but I have zero complaints!

We came for my sisters bachelorette party and had an absolute blast! Ryder and Zac were awesome, and made the experience so memorable. The bride told me it was her favourite part of the whole weekend. We will definitely be back!

It was good. Had a way better experience on the east tour! The pedaling was alot more than our previous tour and our hosts on east tour were so much more fun! Will definitely book east everytime!!

I am very disappointed with the customer service at Peoples Jewelers. What should have been a joyful and celebratory experience with my engagement and wedding bands has instead been frustrating and disheartening from the start.

My first repair (diamond/claw issue) left me without my ring for almost two months, with no follow-up or communication. When I came in to check, I was talked down to and made to feel unheard. Every visit since has been negative—staff are unhelpful, unfriendly, and dismissive.

Most recently, my husband and I went to pick up my rings and were ignored completely. The associate sat with another customer trying on rings and posing in the mirror while we waited. Another associate even walked past us as she was leaving for the night and didn’t bother to acknowledge us or let us know someone would be with us soon. To make matters worse, I was asked to leave a Google review after this experience—something I found very inappropriate.

It’s especially disappointing because my first visit to Peoples was wonderful—warm, welcoming, and helpful. That level of service is what convinced my husband to purchase from Peoples in the first place. Sadly, every interaction since then has been the opposite.

My family has a long history of buying jewelry as part of our traditions, and I had hoped to continue that with Peoples. But at this point, I do not feel valued, cared for, or even acknowledged when I visit their stores. Until the customer experience improves, I cannot recommend Peoples Jewelers.

This is one of the best People’s Jewellers stores I’ve visited. The staff are very courteous, kind and helpful. Lina answered all my questions today, and Bobbi the manager went above and beyond to help me get what I was looking for. You can’t go wrong shopping here.

We came to People’s for an anniversary gift. Lynchen helped us and she was very professional, friendly and although we needed the ring re-sized she put a rush on the order to ensure we received it back within a matter of days to have it on our special day. Thank you Lynchen for all your help and for getting the ring back to us by our anniversary. Great service and always willing to help with a smile.

Went in to get my fiancées wedding ring. We had the pleasure of being helped by Sarah. She was super friendly and bubbly and even remembered us from when we were looking at engagement rings almost a full year prior. She was fantastic and I would recommend everyone to go see her! She absolutely deserves a big raise!

Erika and her team were absolutely fabulous. Could not recommend them more. Erika communicates quickly and answers all questions. Erika created the schedule and timeline to make sure we were all on time which was hugely helpful!
Erika did hair and make up for my wedding and ten other women. The hair and make up stayed perfectly through wind, rain and snow! We all looked stunning thanks to Erika and made the whole wedding morning relaxed.

Erika and her team did makeup for myself, my mom, MIL, and 6 bridesmaids on my wedding day and I was so happy with their work! Our makeup lasted all day and all through the night of dancing. They also provided care packages for touch ups throughout the day which was much appreciated! Erika was so pleasant to work with from start to finish including the makeup trial. She is very quick to respond to inquiries and communicative in her emails which alleviated a lot of wedding planing stress. I cannot recommend Perfection Hair and Makeup enough!

Erika is not only incredibly talented with hair and makeup, but she is exceptionally kind, patient and extremely organized and manages her business with the utmost professionalism. Erika and Anora did the hair and makeup for myself, 4 bridesmaids, my Mom and Mother-in-Law for my wedding and made each of us look and feel great in our hair and makeup. They provided suggestions and advice based on their extensive expertise and were patient and adaptable throughout. The hair and makeup looked amazing and lasted all day!

I booked Erika through my wedding planner and she was honestly amazing. We did a trial and I was able to try different looks. On the day, she was super punctual and fun. She did the hair and makeup for myself and my three bridesmaids. We all loved the final product. Highly recommend Erika to future brides!

Absoutely incredible! I was blown away by their attention to detail for our wedding flowers. I didnt have much to go off and really trusted their expertise and we were not disappointed. Our biggest concern was that because of our venue location, we had to pick up the flowers 2 days in advance and store them in coolers and they went out of their way to wrap them up for us in a way that preserved them & they turned our perfectly. Strongly recommend and I will return.

Flowers arrived on time and in beautiful condition. Exactly what we ordered. And I short video and a few pictures were text messaged when the bouquet was delivered. Excellent service!

I have to say these flowers are amazing. I never did shop here but my 14 year old son took off on his bike the day before mothers day and bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers without me even knowing. He told me on mothers day a lady helped him pick them out.
He was so proud. And I loved them so much I even painted a picture of them.
They looked fresh for 2 weeks and then this morning I pulled out a few to dry so I can keep them.

My senior mother has ordered from petals n blooms for years. She recently sent a very expensive arrangement to my wife for sympathy for the passing of her father. The arrangement arrived missing some of the flowers listed in the description, and poorly arranged in comparison to the picture on the website. She contacted the store to express her concerns and received a rude response. Obviously the owners only care about profit and not providing a quality product for someone who is experiencing tremendous grief. I have asked my mother to order from another florist in the future. See attached photo. Would you be happy spending over $300 for this arrangement?

Lovely store, I order from them every year for Mother's Day, and they never fail to impress! Tons of beautiful flower options to choose from, and ordering online is super easy and straight forward. They've taken great care of all of my orders and are amazing with personal touches. Very thankful for the quality and great service!

I went for breakfast today at Phillistines bakery. The ambience and overall experience was great. Coffee was good and cookies were a hit.
I tried Kunafa but it was okay not the same that we get at Turkish Kebab House on 17 Av SE-best in Calgary and hence gave 4 stars to the food. Overall i liked it and would recommend it to others

Phillistine is incredible middle East bakery with lots of Variety and specialties. Reyed The owner came over and said hello, very friendly. They have espresso, cappuccinos, and coffee, as well as baklava, about 20 different kinds, And beautiful buttery cookies. Cheesecakes, Cake bars and the best kanafa. The servers were all very friendly, the service was Great. I strongly encourage you to stop by and check this place out. It’s incredible.

We recently visited this delicious Jordanian Baklava bakery while in Calgary, and it was such a treat for the whole family. The baklava was incredibly fresh, perfectly flaky, and had just the right amount of sweetness. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite.

The variety was impressive—pistachio, walnut, cashew, and even some specialty selections we hadn’t tried before. Each piece was beautifully presented, making it feel extra special.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, taking the time to explain the different types and offer recommendations. Our kids absolutely loved sampling the different flavors, and we ended up taking gift tray back to share with family.

If you’re in Calgary and appreciate authentic Middle Eastern desserts, this bakery is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone who loves baklava or wants to discover something new and delicious!

Phillistines Bakery & Sweets is a true treasure—an oasis of flavor, warmth, and beauty. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a stunning, thoughtfully curated space that feels as welcoming as it is elegant. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are sweet, attentive, and, frankly, adorable. Their warmth adds so much charm to the entire experience.

As for the food—every single item I’ve tried has been nothing short of divine. Not once have I left with anything less than complete delight. You can taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite. Everything is beautifully made, deeply flavorful, and clearly prepared with love and pride.

Phillistines Bakery & Sweets is a little slice of joy, where you can indulge your senses. I can’t recommend it enough.

The friendliness in this place is out of this world. The baklava is something else! Sooooo good!! Had a Turkish coffee and two pieces of baklava and it was amazing. Highly, highly recommend this shop if you are ever in the NE of Calgary. Even if you are not in the area it's worth the drive.

Where to start! Her incredible organization skills, her positivity that she brings to every meeting, and her ability to work with any vision so effortlessly. Monica manages to keep you on a timeline and not rush or push you into a decision. The day of the wedding flowed because of her organization and ability to stay on top of changes throughout the day. My husband and I had a destination intimate wedding/elopement in Banff/Field back in August 2024. We fell in love with Brittany's designs and knew she'd understand our floral vision and unique wedding plans.

Brittany was friendly and communicative throughout the whole booking and design processes, taking the time to go over colors and floral varietals that would fit within our budget. We appreciated how she was willing to work with us to create hedge pieces that would serve dual purposes between two days worth of wedding events (welcome dinner and wedding day). Since we were traveling in from the US, we were worried it would be difficult to coordinate logistics but Brittany made everything really smooth, gave us supplies and instructions for floral care, and just overall went above and beyond to help us celebrate our day!

Our guests were all commenting on how beautiful the florals were at our dinner. Brittany's florals were able to give us the whimsical, fairytale vibe that we wanted for our day.

I recently got married at The Lake House in Calgary and we had Pine for Cedar as our florist. I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Brittany, the owner of Pine for Cedar. During the initial logistics meeting, Brittany took the time to really understand what concept, colors and design was important for us. From there she helped create a vision board and really worked to accommodate our budget in order to achieve our wishes for the wedding day. Through every step of the way, Brittany made us feel very confident and informed about the process and decisions needed to be made. Our wedding day was so beautiful thanks to all of her hard work. The flower arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres turned out even better than I could have ever imagined. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a florist for their big day, she will not disappoint.

My husband, Brian, and I got married at Mount Engadine Lodge in the Kananaskis backcountry in August, 2024. We were beyond honored to have Brittany design our florals for our special day! Brittany intuitively understood our vision and executed to perfection with fresh and lively local (and foraged!) blooms. Meeting with Brittany and providing input on our designs was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning, and I've jokingly asked my husband if we can do it all over again just to see the vision come to life. On our wedding day, Brittany went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and in the moment - she affixed my floral crown for me and was the first to tell me how beautiful the lighting and colors would turn out in our photos despite the rain - she was right! Working with Brittany was a dream.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Pinnovate for my daughter’s birthday party. We chose the Build-A-Bear / Stuff-A-Bear activity, and from start to finish it was fantastic. The atmosphere was fun, inclusive, and positive—exactly what you’d hope for at a kid’s party.

Our instructor, Ms. Jess, along with her equally awesome helper (sorry—cannot for the life of me remember her name… let’s just call her the “Additional Pinnovate Person of Awesomeness”), deserve a gold medal (and maybe a standing ovation) for their ability to keep 10 very different kids fully entertained, engaged, and smiling the entire time. Their energy, patience, and genuine enthusiasm made the whole experience unforgettable.

The staff as a whole were wonderful—friendly, organized, and clearly committed to making things run smoothly. The party started right on time, stayed on schedule, and somehow still felt relaxed and easy for everyone.

I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out, and the kids are still talking about it days later. If you’re looking for a unique, well-run, joy-filled kid’s birthday party experience in Calgary, I can’t recommend Pinnovate (and especially Ms. Jess and her Partner in Awesomeness) highly enough.

My daughter has been at Pinnovate for 2 years for the full year program as well as day camps. She has enjoyed every minute of it, learned many skills and has been inspired to tackle multi media art projects at home. She has experimented with different art styles and has truly found a passion in creating. Pinnovate has high quality curriculum and instructors that bond with the students, encourage them to express themselves and do their best.

My daughter has been going to pinnovate for a few years now and she absolutely loves it! For a while we couldn't find something that she was interested in. Everything lasted for less than a year, until we found Pinnovate! She is always excited to go to her classes and the teachers are all very nice! I recommend this studio to anyone who is looking for something fun and engaging for their children

I love going here for summer camps, we try lots of mediums, learn lots, and the crafts are overall fun. You also get some freedom to choose colours, designs, and more. I also love the variety of ages and ability to sit next to new people. They have amazing kind and helpful leaders that are always willing to help. I also love the variety of crafts like paintings, signs, mosaics, sketches, drawings, painted rocks and much more

Heni was extremely helpful and accessible throughout the process from the custom ring design, diamond selection, fitting, and adjustment. the final product was absolutely stunning. It is exactly what we wanted. We went to many other jewlers in person and did consultation online and nobody comes close to the level of customer service and ring customization available. Our experience with Polar Lab Diamonds and Heni was definitely worth the 3 hour drive from Edmonton. From booking the appointment to meeting in person to wearing to mock up ring to finally receiving the ring was effortless. Heni was extremely helpful in all aspects of our experience. We were able to work within a decent budget yet create a beautiful custom engagement ring that both my fiancé and I had a say in. The ring came out beautifully, the diamond is impeccable and honestly we are both very impressed. I will definitely be looking into upgrading the diamond to larger diamond in the near future ;). This is my surprise proposal to my fiancé now, she and every helicopter crew was stunned when I got on my one knee and ask her to marry me. I did propose before heading to see the majestic waterfalls in Canada, the Niagara Falls. The ring is awesome especially 2 carat diamond, awesome craftsmanship. We went for a consultation earlier this year in Calgary to check out some options and I cannot recommend this enough, the experience was amazing and it was great to be able to see different ring options.

Amazing experience working with Heni. We visited several other vendors we went with Heni because he was very knowledgeable and super chill…. Never pushed us or pressured us into anything. We got the best price, super customizable options and lots of little extras (e.g. mock ring free of charge while other places charge a few hundred). My fiancée got the exact ring she always dreamt of. Highly recommend!

Every year, our community hosts its annual party at this incredible event center, and I can’t speak highly enough of it. In fact, I was so impressed by the venue that I chose it for my own wedding—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. The affordability is a major plus, especially considering the quality and range of amenities offered. The halls are beautifully designed with a sleek, modern aesthetic, and the space includes a stage that’s perfect for performances, speeches, or entertainment.

It was the standout feature of my wedding, with guests still talking about how delicious everything was. I was at an event that rented the space and it was such an amazing venue! Comfortable but spacious, beautiful architecture inside honestly. I wondered why I hadn't been to an event there before or even known it was an option. If you're looking for a space with a nice dance floor for your next event absolutely consider the Polish Canadian Cultural Centre

My wife and I held our wedding reception in the new Combatants hall in May of 2025. Prices here are quite reasonable, and Krzysztof and Elizabeth were both very helpful and accommodating. We made many last minute changes and had many requests that made the event more complicated for the venue. They were very patient and accommodating right through to the end of the event, checking in with me periodically to make sure everything was going smoothly. I would recommend the Polish Centre to anyone in need of an upscale venue to hosting an event.

My wife and I had our wedding reception in the Combatants Hall last summer and we were very pleased with everything. We received tons of compliments about the food and decor. The dance floor was a great size and the hall accommodated 120+ people without issue. Krzysztof was great to deal with and helped us with planning so everything went smoothly. I highly recommend checking this venue out if you're looking for a reception hall.

We cannot say enough great things about Krzysztof and the incredible team at the Polish Cultural Centre! From start to finish, their professionalism, dedication, and seamless communication made planning our wedding reception an absolute joy. Every question we had was promptly answered, ensuring we felt confident and stress-free leading up to our big day.

The venue itself was fantastic—spacious, elegant, and perfect for hosting a celebration that will be remembered for years to come. But what truly set this experience apart was the phenomenal food (Renata & Magdalena, BAR service (Leszek, Servers & Kitchen team)! Our guests were delighted by the delicious menu, and we can confidently say that everyone left feeling full and satisfied.

I recently ordered a birthday cake for my daughter from Pooja Bhalla's Bakery, and it was absolutely delightful! The design was beautifully crafted and exceeded my expectations. Every detail was meticulously done, making the cake a true centerpiece for the celebration.

The taste was even more impressive – the cake was incredibly moist and flavorful, with just the right balance of sweetness. The layers were perfect, and the frosting was smooth and creamy without being overly rich. It was clear that only the highest quality ingredients were used.

I ordered a gulab jamun cake from Pooja and it was absolutely amazing! It had the perfect amount of sweetness. She was able to make the cake with a short notice. I would recommend ordering from her. 10/10 for cake and customer service. Thank you Pooja. :)

I ordered a 5kg Ferrero Rocher cake for my son's first birthday. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet expectations.

The cake was mostly plain chocolate with some Ferrero pieces, rather than having a full Ferrero base as I'd hoped. When I got it home safely, the two-tier cake didn't hold up well. The top tier had melted and fallen onto the bottom. And the bottom had melted off.

At $220, and having provided all the cake toppings myself a day before (ordered on Amazon), I expected better quality. It was a big let down as this was for a special occasion.

Not sure I'd go again. I was hoping for something nice for the little one's big day. We somehow tried to salvage the top tier and made it presentable for the party.

I ordered a gender reveal cake with rasmalai flavour. Prepared on time, the cake looked beautiful and tasted delicious. The rasmalai flavour was amazing. It was unique and had the nicest sponge. Definitely coming back! Loved it! :)

Bobby designed our wedding outfits and they were absolutely perfect. We received so many compliments. Him and his team were wonderful to work with. I also bought my reception look off the rack and it was stunning. We got as many adjustments as needed. We will be here to buy again!

I had a great experience with Bobby and his team! I came in 3 times before I finalized my wedding lengha and 2 times before I picked my reception lengha! I had a put a deposit on a different one but then switched it and it was no problem! Bobby and his team is knowledgeable on their fabric and embroidery and I tried on so many and had no issues and no rush and Bobby was honest about what he thought and made sure it was my style and suited my skin tone. My reception lengha got so many compliments and was such a different and beautiful color!

Bobby is extremely rude, aggressive and his behaviour towards me was borderline harassment. I put down a $1000 deposit for my wedding lehenga, he made the wrong design and hasn’t given my deposit back. Both my mom and I tried talking to him about the wrong design (on 8 different accounts) and he was extremely vile on the phone. Before the incident he was super nice but flipped right when I pointed out it was the wrong design. It’s been 2 years now and still haven’t got my deposit back. He responds to all negative reviews as being fake but they’re all true. Fake store. Fake guy.

Bobby and his team are absolutely amazing. I've been going to him for years, and now as I get ready for my upcoming wedding, there's no one else I would trust. He is also so creative, which makes the whole process fun and collaborative. I always know I can count on him to deliver completely custom, one of a kind pieces. The quality is top notch and the tailoring makes you feel like a 10/10 every time. Whether it’s suits, lenghas, or saris, Bobby offers a true white-glove service… I highly recommend to anyone looking for elevated, personalized style for their special events!

Bobby helped my fiancé with a custom navy blue Sherwani and it turned out so gorgeous!

A few months later we returned and he helped my parents find outfits that would match my vision for our family photos. He even remembered what my fiancé had ordered which was impressive considering how quick our interactions were. It made me feel like he truly cares about his customers.

The custom made outfits were delivered so quickly, I was very impressed!

Keep in mind that this is not the place to find something cheap, it’s a place to find good quality pieces that are timeless. To get such good quality, you do have to pay a little more but Bobby was very willing to help us make something that was still gorgeous and within our modest budget.

I highly recommend them for the quick and courteous service. They clearly love what they do here and are so willing to work with you to create something you will love. The showroom is stunning and the designer pieces they have will make you wish that you had more events coming up to wear them to!

I hope to get some custom pieces made here in the future!

The only thing that could improve is the way they speak down about other businesses in the area. I had mentioned that I purchased my custom bridal lehenga from another business and the response was “if it doesn’t turn out we can fix it, we have fixed their stuff before”. Although it may have been said to be helpful, it stuck out to me as something very small that can be improved. Positivity is the way to go!

We celebrated our friend’s birthday at The Porch, and it was such a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a celebration. The food was absolutely delicious every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for us. We had such a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place for any special occasion or just a nice night out!

What an incredible local gem! Stopped in because of their Monday half-price cocktails and beautiful patio. Little did we imagine we’d find our favourite spot in Calgary.

All the ingredients are incredibly fresh - from local produce to even Japanese Scallops. The drinks are immaculately created, and everything tasted wonderfully.

I would like to specifically mention that our server, Patrick, was so kind and generous that this restaurant experience went from “yeah this is good”, to “this is the best spot in the city by a mile”.

Rented this space for a 2-day wedding a year in advance and had clear communication with the managers at the time. We had a clear agreement that their cleaners would handle cleanup the morning after the first day. No cleaners showed up, so our decorator cleaned the venue himself.

The morning after the second day, around 10am, I got a call from a man named John, yelling and insisting we hadn’t cleaned up the night before. I explained that cleaners were on their way. While the cleaners were working, he was very disrespectful to them and just kept on yelling at them.

In the end, he took $200 from the damage deposit for petty reasons. The most unprofessional manager ever. Be aware before booking with them!

Our church (St Michael Eritrean Orthodox Church) has been using this wonderfull place for religious celebrations for many years now. It has a very nice hall with well equipped kitchen and very good washrooms, great parking area and very understanding and supportive admin. We are very happy about the services we receive. Our gratitude goes to the wonderful management and the portuguese community as a whole.

Haven't seen any event taking place here for sometime due to the pandemic restrictions. It is best to ascertain the availability by calling the place. Church is open though, but attendance is limited. Consult website for more details.

It is our third time to visit this pizza shop just because the pizza is SO GOOD and the price is also appealing in Happy Hour time. We tried the bison meat pizza and spinach pizza, both are very fresh, juicy, generously seasoned and tasty. You can enjoy the chief make the pizza dough and put them into the oven. It’s just fresh and super chewy! Definitely it’s my favorite pizzeria in Calgary so far.

Pizza #3 was absolutely perfect if you love spinach! Pizza #5 was also great with a creamy goat cheese taste.
Both had the most delicious crispy crust and super fresh toppings!

The food was incredibly delicious – every bite was full of flavor. The bartender was amazing and made some of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. Great vibes, great service, and great pizza. Can’t wait to go back!

We started with the arancini. It was good, but I missed having a sauce to go with it. Then we ordered the bruschetta, which was delicious — the flavors went really well together.

For the main dish, we had the smoked salmon pizza. It had a good amount of salmon, and the arugula made it taste fresh.

For dessert, we tried the tiramisu and the Sicilian cannoli. The tiramisu was good, but the cannoli was a bit disappointing. It didn’t have much flavor and was missing a bit of lime to make it stand out.

The place has a nice atmosphere, but it’s small, so it can be hard to find a table. The food is good, and I would go back to try other pizza flavors.

Sweet spot! I had meant to try a different resto in the area but stumbled across this establishment by chance - Zero regrets!

I am in tears at the ruined long term experience with this store. I have shopped here with my family for years. Spent thousands of dollars, recommended the store, purchased gift cards. I have not returned items till today. Went to return a bat dog cushion (you read that right)- pretty much a stuffie. My daughter fell in love with it and hugged it in the store a week ago. I bought it and then she lost interest in the car so I didnt even bring it in the house. The same snarky older lady today was the one that praised how adorable my daughter was with the stuffy and I should buy it for her. I came to return it today. I was told ‘no problem, we can trace it on your credit card. Return was processed by an associate that behaved decently. AFTER it was processed what I suspect was a manager very loudly came to the lady helping us and said ‘their child dragged it all over the mall’. (Was I being followed??) Apparently a snarky older lady told her to tell the lady helping us (3 staff members had to be involved in this reprimand and public shaming). The return was made already and the item was in pristine condition with tags on! My husband who is a really easy going guy was taken aback. I said ‘the item is in perfect shape, she didnt ‘drag’ it anywhere, she hugged it’- they agreed there was nothing wrong with the item. ‘Well just so you know we wouldnt do this again’. For a store that sells BEDDING that people put on their beds and return and sells severely damged floor items in their sale section- that was a bit much. Apparently if your child touched something it has child cooties. Just absolute unnecessary interaction since the item was returned in perfect condition anyway, i am a long time customer and they know this. High end stores should come with high end customer service or in very least treating people with kindness and respect. Judging by poor customer service comments- Pottery Barn- when will you look into this at this location?

I like the products, the prices are high for a lot of things, but I’m now at an age where I want to buy things that last. However, there is no free shipping no matter how much you order, and the more you order the higher the shipping cost gets. Crate and Barrel offers free shipping after $149CAD spent and every one of my orders from them arrived on time. I have 1 order that hasn’t even left the warehouse and it’s been 5 weeks since I ordered it. I called customer service and they said they would follow up, which they didn’t. I did appreciate that calling the number immediately gets you a hold of a real person, and on the second attempt at contacting them, it seems they did fix my issue. Due to this not being resolved the first time and the high shipping costs, I think they have room for improvement. Customers should be rewarded for buying more product, not met with higher and higher shipping costs cause nothing you need at that time seems to be available in store.

For a store that markets itself as “high-end,” Pottery Barn has delivered the worst customer service I’ve experienced to date. I purchased a sofa set over three months ago, and on the very day it was delivered, I reported that the items were stained. Since then, the team has been unresponsive and has shown a complete lack of empathy in handling the issue. It’s clear that once the sale is made, they no longer prioritize the customer. Two months later, I still have no resolution.

In contrast, I had a similar issue with a purchase from Crate & Barrel, and the experience couldn’t have been more different — their staff were helpful, responsive, and made the resolution process smooth and stress-free. I would strongly recommend shopping at Crate & Barrel instead of Pottery Barn. They offer similar items, but with far better service — giving you peace of mind that your concerns will actually be addressed if something goes wrong.

Bought a table from Pottery Barn (Portolla) after being told it was great quality and real vaneer. Was shipped to my house and I’ve had it for a year, hardly used it because it’s formal dining table and it’s absolute garbage quality. There are already many marks on it from someone dropping a spoon on the table or simply moving around ornaments. Very normal activities that any dining room table should withstand. I will never buy from Pottery Barn again. It looks great in the magazines but the quality is total crap for how much money you pay. Their customer service was a total joke too. I wasn’t informed about the extended warranty or I would have gotten it. And I called customer service to help suggest a product or something that could fix or repair the dings and they told me there was nothing they could do and I was out of warranty (didn’t expect replacement, just a fix for the problem). Anyways - you get the jist. Stay away from pottery barn.

This review is for an online order. Pottery Barn took our money, wasted our time, broke their promises, and treated us poorly when we tried to resolve the situation. This was the worst customer experience we've ever had with a major retailer—and a shocking failure for a brand that markets itself as premium. Never again.

We placed an order for a bed on March 10, 2025 and paid approximately $2,500. Over the next two months, we had to chase the company repeatedly for updates as delivery windows were missed. Not once did they proactively reach out. Each time we followed up, we were told the bed was coming—but we were continually strung along without clarity. Then, only after escalating the issue, we were told that a key component—the headboard—was out of stock and that we wouldn’t be receiving the bed after all. By that point, we had already been sleeping on the floor for two months.

We were then referred to Nicole Jones, a Senior Lead in Global Customer Support at Williams-Sonoma. Nicole eventually offered a 25% discount on a replacement order. However, when we tried to proceed, she directed us back to general customer service, where the experience continued to deteriorate. The representative was immediately rude and defensive, insisting we pay full price for the new order and only after delivery would they "consider" applying the discount. This approach felt misleading and untrustworthy. When we pointed out how unreasonable this was, we were hung up on.

While we did eventually receive a refund for the original order, Pottery Barn held our money for two months and made every step of the process frustrating and unnecessarily unpleasant.

This was a customer service nightmare.

We had an amazing experience working with Prab and Jasneet! They both were incredibly professional, organized, and so easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable and relaxed on our big day, and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful, capturing all the special moments perfectly. What really stood out was their thoughtfulness and generosity—they even offered us a complimentary anniversary shoot, which was such a wonderful surprise and meant a lot to us. It’s clear they genuinely cares about their clients and goes the extra mile. We couldn’t be happier with the service and their whole team!

I had a last minute request for photo package for a Rokh ceremony and the team was nothing but kind, patient, and understanding as they went over services options that would be best for my event. Prab engaged in conversation with me for a couple of days as I got the event details sorted, and was willing to accommodate and fit me into his busy schedule, despite it being peak wedding season in the summer.

The day of the photos and event were amazing. I cannot begin to describe the level of care and attention that went into to capturing the most beautiful and important parts. There was not a moment we felt awkward getting our photos taken and everyone had nothing but praises about the photographer.

The photos and memories captured blew my expectations and I couldn’t be happier. The quality and editing really encapsulated the moments that meant a lot to us; more than I can put into words. I will definitely be booking again in the future!

Prab is an outstanding photographer and videographer. We booked him and his team for my sister’s wedding, which included two main events as well as an outdoor shoot in the mountains. From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations in every way.

The two wedding events went flawlessly. Prab and his team were always on time, extremely professional, and incredibly respectful of both the culture and the guests. They blended in seamlessly with the crowd while still capturing every important moment with studio-level quality. Their production value is equivalent to what you would expect from a full-fledged studio, yet they bring a warmth and personal touch that makes the entire experience feel effortless.

We also had the chance to do an outdoor shoot with them in Kananaskis. Just as we were about to start, the mountain weather turned on us, and it began pouring rain. Instead of rushing through, Prab was very accommodating and offered to reschedule to another day that worked best for us. We ended up going back the very next day, and the shoot turned out absolutely amazing. The way he worked with the natural scenery and captured those moments is something we will cherish forever.

Prab and his team go above and beyond in every sense. They are professional, creative, respectful, and incredibly talented. I cannot recommend them enough. If you want memories captured in the best possible way, this is the team you want by your side.

Edward does fantastic work and runs a great shop, and is a real pleasure to work with. He made a custom engagement/wedding ring in platinum for us, set with many rubies that all matches perfectly. Despite platinum being notoriously soft, Edward's solid design has held up the years of every day wear and tear and still looks great.

Edward from Precision went above and beyond for me when I came to him with my wife's broken engagement ring. We bought it from a seller in the states and I did not want to ship it over in case it gets lost in the mail.

I had to find someone who I would highly trust to repair this ring, Edward was that person. He sat me down and examined the jewellery and proceeded to tell me how the ring broke and also explained the characteristics of the diamond. Then he told me how he would fix it.

The finished product was amazing, and the diamond looked secure. The best part was that Edward has affordable rates and his turnaround time was awesome. He even got me my wife's ring back during the holidays and I was able to "propose" once again on Christmas morning with a fixed ring.
