Had a wonderful venue tour there by April. Very informative and friendly. Their wedding space is not your everyday community centre space. It is large, light and bright and airy and will have an outdoor ceremony space too!

Trywood hosted our wedding reception in January. Phenomenal service. Excellent food. Everyone had a great time. They're willing to work with us on unique ideas we had for the reception and were willing to try something new and executed to perfection. Our guests have consistently commented on the reception having some of the best food they've ever had, especially the salmon! Would highly recommend for weddings or any event in general.

Large lot, several buildings. Attended a wedding, Staff was amazing, food was served buffet style and was also very good. Bar service was great again staff above par!

Chilly stands but great ice. Change rooms could be bigger. No on site food.

This was a very pleasant surprise we walked by they had happy hour going till 7:00, so we ordered appetizers to start they were excellent, went into the menu the nachos were the best I've had anywhere in Calgary both in terms of quality flavor and value. Everything we ate here was superb, service was excellent. We'll be back.

We came here for the giant margarita, and we were not disappointed with it (and the food). The margarita was pretty strong so you know it’s worth that $40. We also got some food which was also pretty good, especially the chicharron con arepa. The service started out very good, but as the night went on we kind of just got forgotten and were only checked on once after getting our food/drinks. We ended up having to wave another server down so we could get the bill.

None the less this place is definitely worth checking out🤙

Food was incredible, but the service wasn’t very personable at all. In the middle of ordering the waitress just.. left? Not only did this happen one time, but it happened twice. There was also about a 20 minute wait in between ordering. We were sat for about 10 minutes without any acknowledgement, then ordered drinks which she then walked away from even though we were also going to order appys, so it took another 10-15 minutes before we were even able to order our Appys. Then another 10-15 minutes to get the appy because she just kept walking away in the middle of ordering LOL
The food was delish though. Go during happy hour because the giant margaritas are only $10!

My friends and I were looking for a spot to relax and enjoy one of the last remaining beautiful days of summer, and with some luck, we found this place.

The patio is large, clean, and comfortable. We started there and eventually moved inside to hide from the wasps (it's a bad season for those devils).

The interior of this place is a sight to behold! The design, layout, and finishes are simply incredible. It's safe to say that this place far exceeded my expectations.

The food and service were great. They have the perfect menu (not too fancy but high quality). The service was fantastic, and we were lucky enough to enjoy their happy hour (smoking deals).

The staff were great to chat with and informed us that they have salsa dancing and live bands. We will be returning to get the whole experience. I better brush up on my bachata.

Came for cocktails and they were delicious! I tried the pineapple mezcal negroni and a giant strawberry margarita and both were delicious. The negroni had a light smokiness to it that I loved! The giant drinks are $10 off on Thursday’s making the 6oz of tequila marg a steal! The ambience is also really nice in the restaurant and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Troy Shoppe jewellers are amazing! I had a ring made at another Calgary Jeweler that I had HUGE problems with from the moment I bought it. I arrived at Troy Shoppe hoping for a second opinion on the ring and they were honest and thorough and helped me consider all my options with no pressure. My existing ring was so badly damaged by bad fixes and harsh polishing that I ended up having it made into a gorgeous pendant by Troy Shoppe and then had them build me a new ring. Every step of the way David and Lanny were patient, helpful, thoughtful and had great ideas! I adore my new ring and my pendant and have had no issues with either. I would send everyone I know to them! Thank you Troy Shoppe.

It’s been almost two months since I received my new ring from Troy Shoppe Jewellers and I’m in love. I can’t stop looking at my hand, admiring the beauty and the brilliance of my new treasure. Thais guided us through the design process and together created three pieces using the gems from my 30 year old engagement set. My finger is now adorned with a modern, timeless bedazzler that still embodies the sentimental value of my original ring.

Many thanks to Thais and the craftspeople who invested their skills into my jewellery. The quality of the center stone and the custom band are flawless. With kindness, patience and superior expertise, Thais made this luxury purchase such a positive and personal experience.

Great experience with Thais! She took her time showing us the existing stock and then ultimately worked with us to design a bezel setting custom ring. Thais is knowledgeable and experienced. Once we pinned down the general design, we then worked with the jeweler, David. He created the CAD rendering and addressed my questions and concerns. His detailed explanation gave me lots of reassurance about the structural integrity of the design. I would highly recommend Troy Shoppe, thanks to Thais and David!

We booked a room in Calgary. When we arrived, the owner greeted us with a smile and said, “It’s your first time here, right? I upgraded your room.” He then directed us to a room right at the entrance—the exact one I had specifically avoided when booking.

I had paid extra for a second-floor room because I was traveling with my young daughter. I politely explained this and asked to see the room I had reserved. Instead of assisting, the owner became defensive and aggressive, saying, “You don’t trust me?” I insisted on seeing the room I paid for, but he told me it was already taken. He then said that if I didn’t want the entrance room, I would have to leave.

When I asked about a refund, he told me to contact my travel agency, which I did, and I was waiting to hear back from them. Shortly afterward, he said, “I don’t want to waste my time—get out.” While I was trying to explain that I needed written confirmation of the refund, the owner suddenly and aggressively took my personal belongings and carried them outside. When I followed him to stop him from handling our things, my daughter came with me. At that point, he pushed my young daughter, injuring her leg.

We were forced out with our belongings, and even had our shoes thrown outside. The situation escalated to the point where I had to call the police.

This experience was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. The owner was physically aggressive toward both me and my child, which is shocking and disturbing behavior.

I cannot recommend this guest house. Please be cautious—what started as a supposed “upgrade” quickly turned into dishonesty, aggression, and violence. No guest, especially a child, should ever be treated this way.

Had a lovely stay at this guesthouse! Although I had to leave a day early than what i’ve booked and at 3 AM due to unforeseen circumstances, the owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. They even upgraded my room closer to the door to make my early checkout easier. The place is clean, peaceful, and the host gave great local tips.
Although I only stayed for two days, I’m already looking forward to coming back. And when I do, I’ll definitely be booking here again.

The rooms are fine, shared kitchen and bath fine, but you can hear pretty much everything going on. They therefore have very strict limits on noise. There is no coffee shop nearby, it's more of a suburban neighborhood. Great to find a reasonably priced option during the stampede tho.

The owner was very kind and generous. He generously accepted the misunderstandings caused by cultural differences and kindly informed us of local accidents. He informed us of the house rules slowly and comfortably ensured our personal time so that anyone could understand them. Everything was carefully prepared and was conveniently located by public transportation. Thank you for your detailed greetings until the very last minute.

Had a great stay! The guesthouse was super easy to book direct through their website, and self check-in was straight forward with clear instructions. The bed in my room was very comfortable---slept like a dream. Highly recommend!

This accessible park is an excellent installation in NW Calgary.

☆accessible merry-go-round for two child sized mobility devices/chairs plus friends

The park is very engaging for 3 to 13 year olds, and offers lots of opportunities to for risky play in a safe setting. There are trees on the west side of the park and a water fountain has been installed. Tuxedo community Association has done an incredible job creating a unique style of park and we will return soon. All that is missing is the bathroom.

They have really nice beach volleyball courts that are well taken care of. The sign feels nice. Very nice green space on the side. Very good for picnics and hanging out with friends

We rented the lower hall for my brother's 50th birthday. It's an intimate celebration and the lower hall was perfect, both for the size and the budget. The place is very clean and easy to decorate. We love that there's 2 washrooms (separate from the upper hall), and its own kitchen too. The Smart TV was also perfect for our video presentations! You don't have to rent a projector :)
As the hall manager, Miliana was very accommodating and responds quickly to my emails.
We will keep this venue as an option for our future events!!

I will definitely rent again. Hall cair taker Violet supports very well and also other administration development persons do very well. Overall it's affordable and very good hall.

We booked the upper hall for a birthday party with 40 people. The entire process was a really good experience. Christina, hall rental manager, is super! She is very responsive and helpful. The day of the event the audio system was missing a cord and she had someone to bring us an extra in 15 mins after I texted her. The hall is very clean and everything in there works perfectly. Christina walked me through the details in the hall twice to make sure I am comfortable with everything. I definitely would go back there for my special events and highly recommend them.

I went here for a bachelorette party—and as someone visiting from Toronto who had never been to a drag show before, I have to say, I had an absolutely amazing time!

The performers were incredible, and the energy in the venue was fantastic. Everyone was just having fun and enjoying the show. The bartenders were super friendly and added to the great atmosphere.

I also really appreciated the coat check system—it was so efficient! You enter your cell number on an iPad, and they quickly retrieve your jacket. Such a smart and modern setup.

There were different sections throughout the venue for dancing, and I found the basement level especially enjoyable—it was a bit cooler and less crowded than upstairs.

If I ever visit Calgary again, I would definitely come back. Such a fun and memorable experience!

I don’t think I’ve ever given a rating to a club before but I couldn’t not. First of all I love how they had seats for the drag show and the entertainment and the way they engaged the crowd and giving shots that was so fun. One of my highlighted memories for sure.

I haven’t been out in a while but I’ll definitely be going back thank you for an awesome time.

Only thing is the club gets so hot :(

I’ve been coming to Twisted Element since I was 18. I’m 34 now. Back then, it was fun and had a unique soft drag-bar aesthetic downstairs—chandeliers, seating, and an inviting, comfortable vibe of a welcoming gay bar. Sadly, the atmosphere has shifted a lot, and not for the better.

Now it feels more grungy and dungeon-like. The chain decor and terrible flashing LED lights that replaced the chandeliers seem to be have installed for Halloween party and never taken down. The bathrooms are in HORRENDOUS condition—broken fixtures, flimsy stalls, awful sewer smells, and harsh after-2am-style lighting that makes the whole experience unpleasant and sobers you up and has you questioning why you are there. They desperately need a full renovation.

Upstairs, things aren’t much better. The DJ has seen better days, the floors are sticky, and service at the upstairs bar is very poor. I was even served a flat drink right out of the bottle, and when I politely mentioned it, I got attitude instead of a fix. The pool tables are fine, everything is sectioned off to make it feel busier than it is.

The culture and energy of the place just isn’t what it used to be. Unless changes are made soon, I worry what’s going to happen to this venue. I just want it to get back to the Twisted vibe we all knew and loved. I’d have no problem coming back time after time if it was improved.

I will say, the patio was nice addition option during pride.

These folks definitely deserve the love and praise the community brings to it. My drink was on point handmade pretty fast. I can definitely see why so many people told me I should definitely check this out before I leave Calgary. The Duel DJs gave variety to each dance floor

My first impression when we entered the place was lioe let's go somewhere else. But once the drag show started and more people arrived the place stared be more fun. The bartenders was super nice music also great. You have two options of music one on the main floor and the one in the basement. The only thing what scared me was the quality of the bathrooms, that could be better. Besides that fun place to visit, and definitely try sour drink. That drink was something else, seriously amazing drink.

Great Chinese food place for any occasion.
We ordered the dinner for two which came with the perfect amount of food for us (two young adult males haha!) and was a good price.
The atmosphere is the main appeal here. We went in a slower time around 5-6pm on a Friday and it was one of the most relaxing dinners we've ever had. They had calming piano music that reminded me of a massage place with birds sounds making it a very enjoyable experience. The interior decorations are also beautiful.
Ginger beef was especially good!

U & Me is a great spot for late-night Chinese food in downtown Calgary (went there around 1am after th Stampede). The duck was flavorful and reasonably priced, and the dumplings were fresh and tasty. We also loved the chicken egg soup 😋comforting and well-seasoned!

Only downside: we were charged for the tea without being informed, even though we didn’t ask for or drink it. It would be better if that was optional or at least clarified upfront.

Overall, a solid experience—good food, generous portions, and fast service (even late at night). Just be mindful of the tea charge!

The first time I came here, I was overwhelmed because all the tables were full. But then the waitress led me to the table right away. The service here is very fast and professional. So this restaurant is an ideal place for you to visit. Located in Chinatown and the food is delicious, reasonable price. It suits my taste. I will come back when I have free time.

It is great to have a restaurant that is open until 4am. Food here is superb, absolutely delicious and is usually given fast.
However, the customer service from few of the waitresses is why I will be giving a 3/5 stars rate. We understand that it gets really overwhelming and busy, especially late at night. But even when it is busy, it does not mean they will give their customers a rude, discourteous, non-responsive attitude when serving foods.
We also noticed some of the utensils weren't washed properly. We told one of the waitresses and did not bother to apologize. But instead, she grabbed the utensils inappropriately and abruptly from us without saying anything.
The waitress only started smiling when it was time to pay the bills :-)
Just polish the part of politeness next time when serving--I might be giving this review a 5/5.

Incredible food, big portions, beautiful space. We loved it so much we went there two nights in a row. They are open till very very late which is awesome. Nicole took amazing care of us and was helpful with navigating allergies. We had the dinner for four and some dim sum. Will always come back here when in Calgary. Thanks Nicole!!!!

Just purchased another couple of suits from Claudio; I’ve been shopping here for years. Claudio is a true professional when it comes to style and custom tailoring. Treat yourself to a custom suit and be ready to look amazing and feel amazing! Thank you again Claudio - you’re the best!

I went to Umberto's after I was disappointed with the outcomes from another tailor and Claudio was able to turn around an incredible suit for my wedding in under 4 weeks. The suits are handmade from scratch in the city so they have a lot of control over delivery timelines. The tailoring process was pleasant and he is clearly very knowledgable about suit styles, easily the best tailor in Calgary.

After being frustrated with poor service from other tailors, I found Umberto’s. I can say from experience, Umberto’s is the real deal. Claudio helped me select the perfect fabric, cut, and style for my suit. It looks amazing! Plus, he was was able to deliver my suit ahead of schedule. Umberto’s customer service is top notch!

I have been going to Umberto's for 5 years and still have the suit they made for my wedding. In total I have invested in 8 custom suits. The quality and craftsmanship is second to none. I have tried the online retailers and they don't come close the quality that Umberto's is able to provide. An often over looked benefit of having the suit made locally is the ability to make adjustments and have them serviced over time. I have had several of the suits adjusted to update styles and adjust jackets and pants as I have lost weight.

Umberto and Claudio are true artisans and gentlemen. It is a pleasure to shop at Umberto's Custom Tailors. I encourage anyone looking for a new suit to start here. They make incredible suits for both men and women. The prices are extremely reasonable and the quality is unmatched. They have made me not only a formal wedding suit but also daily business suits and perfectly fitted trousers. Thank you Claudio and Umberto. I wouldn't buy a suit or pants anywhere else.

We arrived here earlier in the evening around 6 so it was fairly empty without much of an "atmosphere" but space is a sexy cool speakeasy vibe. The specials (happy hour?) on bubbles are incredible but we found the food and service to be a bit lacking.

Also, not really a huge deal but, they were testing the sound system for later in the night when I presume it's more of a club vibe and has more than 4 people in it, it was crazy loud and for us felt like something they should do before they open.

Untitled Champagne Lounge has the coolest vibe. As soon as you walk in the door, you’re hit with moody and sexy. The atmosphere glides you in, and then the drink menu is divine. I have never been somewhere where the drink menu is as exciting and creative as is the presentation of each of these beautiful drinks we ordered. The pictures say it all. Definitely worth a place to check out. Excellent service - our server was outstanding, she was a true professional! Reservations recommended.

Had a great night at Untitled with friends from Adventure Calgary. The cocktail menu is huge, and the drinks go down dangerously smooth. Tried the premium champagne tasting and some yummy truffle fries, both were excellent.

The upscale vibe, chill DJ beats, and attentive service (even for our group of 10) made it a fun, classy night out.

I was a regular for about five years before I moved back to BC. Now, I’m out of the cocktail and shiny shirts scene as I’ve mostly given up alcohol. Heads up: you’ll need a magnifying glass to read the menu 😂 would definitely benefit from increasing the font size, and maybe having some photos of the drinks on the menu. With that much selection it’s very hard to know what to choose.

Great service. Only once ever had a problem. Which is more than I can say for most venues in Calgary when I used to host public events and cart around a whole bunch of random strangers every day.

The food menu is pretty skimpy however. Could definitely use some better non-meat options and higher caliber items to match the cocktails.

Cocktail selection is through the roof. Probably the best in town. Open concept, which can be a bit tough if you’re sitting in the middle of the room at those tables; it feels like you’re on display, and honestly the couches could probably use some more cushions as they are quite deep.

Overall they’ve done an excellent job at decor and music. It’s nice to be able to go somewhere that’s a little more off the beaten path.

I had brought my wife here for her birthday and every moment was perfect right from walking through the super unique front door.
We came early on a very cold night so it wasn't busy but the service was on point the entire evening. The champagne was on ice and they even came over to refill her glass a couple of times.
I tried a few different cocktails and I would be hard pressed to say I have had better. Each one was well thought out and presented beautifully.
We also ordered a couple of food dishes and the quality and thought were also evident.
If you are looking for a great date night spot or just a unique place to grab a few drinks, I would highly recommend UNTILTLED.

Up! Balloons provided some event decor recently and blew it out of the park! Carolina was easy to communicate, gave us some great ideas for the stage and photo area, and most of all the room was stunning. We will be using her again!

From conversation to placing an order was such a smooth amazing experience and the customer service was unexpectedly prompt. Best part was the delivery which was on time and the baloon bouquet was amazingly made with perfection. My family got very surprised and happy with the product and the service. They loved it and it made my day!!

Balloons were delivered on time and the stack was much larger than I expected. Great quality as usual. Only issue is colours were to be dark blue and silver and my daughter was not a fan of the pink or cream colour. Would have preferred other shades of blue.

Carolina was quick to reply to my first email, and equally efficient in pulling together the exact colours that we were looking for when designing the balloon decorations. Arranged for a set-up time at the venue, and everything was in place as planned when we arrived. The decorations really added to the atmosphere in the dining room and turned out exactly as I had hoped. Thanks for your creativity and efficiency, Carolina!

I recently worked with Urban Barn to specify furniture for one of my clients, and we had such a wonderful experience at the Heritage location. Kirby assisted us, and he was an absolute delight to work with! I recently purchased a $800 coffee table from this place , and I am extremely disappointed with the quality. Within just a few weeks, the edges started cracking, and now the wood is actually splitting in half! It’s clear that the materials used are cheap and not durable at all.

For the price I paid, I expected a sturdy, well-made table—not something that falls apart after minimal use. Customer service was no help either; they offer me an $87 refund or a $120 gift card (if I keep the table), really? for a $800 dollar coffee table. How wants to keep a wood table that is splitting in half after 2 weeks.

Save your money and avoid this company. Their products are poorly constructed, and they don’t stand behind them. I will never buy from them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

We ordered a new sofa from this Urban Barn location several months ago. We were told that it would arrive in June. As June was approaching, we called the Heritage Urban Barn store to see when we could expect our sofa. They told us that they didn't have access to the info and to call Customer Service. After finally getting a hold of Customer Service, we were very surprised to hear that the fabric is backordered until September and the sofa won't be shipped until November - which is 9 months after we'd paid for it. No one had called to let us know. We asked what our options were (refund? choose a new fabric?) and were told that we'd have to wait 3 business days for a DIFFERENT customer service team to contact us. That was 2.5 weeks ago, and we have not received a call from anyone
We also called the Urban Barn Heritage Store again to see if they could help. We were told that the salesman, Kirby, would call us back. Again, it's been 2.5 weeks, and no one has called us. We have spent over $10,000 at Urban Barn in the past few months. We are beyond frustrated and disappointed. Next time we will buy somewhere else, and we would not recommend this store or company.

We had the most wonderful experience with Urban Officiant for our elopement. From the very beginning, everything felt easy and personal, which was exactly what we were hoping for on such an intimate day. A special shoutout to Brad, who went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. He took the time to get to know us, tailored the ceremony perfectly to reflect our story, and delivered it with warmth, sincerity, and just the right touch of humor. We eloped in Banff last week and Brad Brownell married us. We had originally booked another officiant that cancelled on us last minute, and wow what a blessing in disguise that we found Brad! He was amazing from the very beginning. He was accommodating, and he continuously checked in on us and helped calm our nerves. Our ceremony was so beautiful and custom - it was heartfelt and funny! He incorporated our family and our dog which was so special to us. Highly recommend him for your special day, you won’t be disappointed!!

This is a long overdue review, but Brad Brownell married us on July 4, 2024, and he was the most incredible officiant. Brad went above and beyond to personalize our ceremony and our guests adored him. We had countless comments after our ceremony about how our officiant did an amazing job. Brad had our guests laughing, crying (happy tears of course), and engaged. Brad is incredibly professional and organized. He arrived early to individually talk my husband and I through the ceremony one final time and to help calm our nervous energy before we saw each other at the alter. Brad made our ceremony the highlight of our wedding day and we cannot thank him enough - if I could give Brad 10 stars, I would. Thank you Brad & Urban Officiants!

Super fun. The guides are full of energy, they provide drinks on the pedal, and its a good 2.5 hrs including stops at the bar. One of the funnest things to do in all of Calgary!

Tia and Louie were absolutely amazing for our kids joint bach party is highly recommended requesting these amazing people to be your tour guides. They are absolutely amazing and definitely made it an event to remember. 5 stars for 2 amazing guides and a night of memories.

Craig and Kristina are unbelievable at their jobs and unbelievably awesome to work with! Urbane catered my backyard wedding engagement part last summer and it was just so lovely. They worked with my family and I to come up with a perfect menu, took our feedback on what we wanted and liked seriously and adjusted items for us. They did not push us at all to order more and in fact, encouraged us to cut back when we went overboard. The food was beautiful and delicious - many of our guests asked for their business card and many more messaged us after asking who catered. The service was amazing and they left the house absolutely spotless. Would absolutely use again and would 100% recommend!

We CANNOT recommend Kristina, Craig and the rest of the Urbane team enough. From custom menus, communication, professionalism, and absolutely amazing service, the Urbane team helped us execute a wonderous estate wedding this August. Custom food stations surrounding a pond for guests to visit was the main foundation of our couple's vision and we truly would not have been able to pull this off without their team.

Kristina & Craig accommodated a private tasting where we were able to test wine pairings with our couple's sommelier and finalize menu items. Let us tell you though, the food on the wedding day was even BETTER then the tasting. We don't know how they do it, but we definitely think magic is involved.

Vera is so incredibly talented. My hair was a hot mess when I first came to her; balayage that wasn’t consistent (my hair had literally 3 different colours), grey roots that seemed impossible to colour, and extremely dry brittle hair with broken ends. I was going to an upscale salon and was frustrated how bad my hair was looking. I’m so fortunate to have found Vera. After a year of seeing her, my hair hasn’t been this healthy in years! The hairs around my face and top of head don’t break anymore. Her balayage is beautiful and I love the colour (never turns orange/copper like all the other colourings I used to get). She flawlessly covers my greys that just blends effortlessly with my balayage. She’s also incredibly talented with how she cuts my hair (I have thick curly hair). Vera is so passionate about her work. I highly recommend her!!

Vera did an AMAZING job for bringing me back to blonde. I absolutely love it, and this is the best blonde I have ever had! (And I have been blonde most of my life). I had a great time at the Valley Ridge Golf Course! The head pro was very helpful and responsive for booking our tee time. The pro shop staff were friendly and welcoming. We had brunch at the course resturant and it was fairly priced and delicious.

The course was fun to play and challenges you with lots of hills and bunkers. It was also in great shape! They had a seperate drink cart for the front and back nine so you never went long without seeing one.

Valley Ridge Golf Club Restaurant is one of my favorite spots! The view outside is absolutely beautiful, and you can choose to sit inside or out. Inside, there are TVs if you want to catch a game while you eat. It does get a bit busy on weekends, so service can take a little longer — but on weekdays, it’s usually quick and smooth.

The menu is fantastic. They offer dishes that feel unique to this place — not your typical restaurant food. The kids’ menu is also great, with tasty options that my kids love.

The staff are always so friendly, kind, and welcoming — always smiling, and they really care. The environment is clean, the washrooms are conveniently close, and after three years of coming here, I’ve never been disappointed. The food is consistently delicious!

If you are not challenged and yet left in awe from the layout along side the Bow River something is wrong. Every year the greens roll true and the course is in amazing shape. The vibe here is NOT like any other. You find anyone stuffy here. The staff and pros live way up to their reputations!! Go Play!!

WOW! Hiring Vanessa and Geovanny was our best wedding planning decision by far. Do it - you won't regret it!

We had a medium-sized wedding at a less traditional venue (ie. no staff, chairs, decor etc.) and were looking for people to help with the details of decorating and set-up/take-down. We also have two young kids and full-time jobs so don't have the most free time!

Vanessa took all our ideas for the wedding and helped our vision come to life. She sourced vendors, created a beautiful wedding portfolio and was incredibly helpful with keeping us on track for all the wedding to-dos. I honestly think that was one of the best things about having wedding planners - to have people to tell you what to do and when. There are so many different steps and priorities in planning a wedding - it can be overwhelming. It was wonderful to have someone to break it down for us and say here's what's next and here's how to do it.

I cannot thank Geovanny enough for his help with our rehearsal and wedding day! Because of him and his team, we were able to relax and enjoy on the day of, knowing someone else was in charge and thinking of all the little details. He was also so considerate throughout the wedding planning process. He always asked how I was doing with everything and made my feelings and well-being as much of a priority as the wedding itself.

Overall, Vanessa and Geovanny were just so wonderful to work with - hardworking, focused, always smiling and bringing positive energy. They genuinely love what they do and are as excited and invested in your wedding as you are!

You definitely need someone who can see the big picture and deal with any potential issues before it becomes a big problem. I have not been in the building or have not used other facilities but the place is really enjoyable, my kids like here because it has playground, they can ride their bikes and play football.

My favourite public outdoor rink in all of Calgary. Highly recommend!

Good venue for a variety of events from music to toy shows

It's a good place although as soon as you enter you're met with stairs. So if you're pushing a stroller there's not much you can do, you're stuck there and it's quite an inconvenience. The preschool seems pretty good, my son is enrolled there. The rest of the place looks quite spacious.

We visited the large playground that is shared with the school fields. It's older but in good shape. The area is fully fenced, except where the parking lot sits. Gravel base under the play zone. 5 slides, 4 monkey bars, 2 flying foxes, 8 unique climbing ladders/sliding poles.

Varun did a terrific job with the photo shoot! I went to get my head shots done and he was very professional, easy to work with, and really understood what I was trying to go for. The photos turned out much better than I expected and I highly recommend his services!

Amazing team to work with. They had the most amazing photography, amazing visuals and fast turnaround times. So easy to work with and explain what I want. They are so creative. I would recommend to anyone looking to get their south asian wedding recorded and made into an amazing memory!!!

We were in Calgary for two days and needed to get some pictures clicked immediately to send it for some purpose. Varun politely accommodated to our needs, conversed nicely and charged fairly. The pictures he clicked were spot on and the editing was done very well. Also, he’s quick to respond which is great. The amazing part was everything was done within an hour. I definitely recommend him, you won’t regret it.

My husband and I hired Vegas Entertainments for our wedding this June at a River Cafe in Calgary. Chris was really responsive and easy to work with! We filled out some forms a few weeks before the wedding that were straightforward with the info and even certain playlists we wanted.

During the wedding, we had Ryan as our DJ and he was wonderful! After talking to other past brides, I don’t think anyone had a DJ who actually checked in with them during the reception. Ryan came over during supper to check that we were happy with the volume. And during the dance he checked in a couple times with me or my husband about how we were liking the music and to confirm what songs we wanted to end the night with. He was very discreet and I really appreciated it! We had a great dance floor and I was probably on it for all but 5 minutes during the night.

I’d originally considered not having a DJ, but I’m so happy that we changed our mind. Vegas Entertainment was the perfect choice!

Chris was nothing short of Amazing. He honoured our pricing from the quote we received a year ago, even with add-ons we didn’t put a deposit on. Did a great job coordinating through the night with song selection and reading the crowd. The best part is he custom made our watermark for the Photo Booth a day before the wedding as ours was last minute and low resolution. Would recommend for any event!
