I just said 'YES' to my dream Wedding dress and would recommend Nora to anyone looking for their dress. She made it so special and stress free. She also made the experience fun and accommodated my large group. She had a beautiful (and rare) selection. As well, as she is a designer she really has an eye for which styles suit you best and her designs are stunning.

Nora is absolutely wonderful. My daughter said "Yes to the dress". Nora was so accommodating and really knows her stuff. I can't believe how beautiful her designs are. The dress is beautiful and the whole experience was top notch. Highly recommend!

Nora was amazing to work with. She was so patient and even though we designed my dress while being in different time zones she made sure to accommodate my schedule. I could not have been happier with my dress. It was perfect. Everyone at my wedding said it was the most unique and beautiful wedding dress they had seen. I cannot recommend Zo enough! I had a bridal hair trial with her, and she also styled my hair on my wedding day, as well as for two of my bridesmaids. Not only was she incredibly professional, but her warm and friendly nature made the entire experience even better. We had such great conversations throughout the process, and she was full of helpful advice that made me feel confident and cared for.

On top of that, when a strong rainstorm hit during the bridal trial, she kindly let me wait it out at her house, which I truly appreciated. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond in such a genuine way.

Her talent and positive energy made my wedding day run smoothly. I will definitely be reaching out to her for future events, and 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a hair stylist who not only excels at her work, but also makes the whole experience feel personal and special.

Zo is pure magic! She created the most flawless natural soft glam that matched my skin tone perfectly and styled my hair in a dreamy half-up, half-down with curls that made me feel like a Disney princess. I have never felt so elegant, polished, and put-together as a wedding guest—I’ve never felt more beautiful! She’s incredibly talented and an absolute joy to work with. Book her asap - she deserves to open her own full time salon as she is that talented, patient and completely understands what you want and need more than you do. I've recieved a ton of compliments and cannot thank her enough!

I wish I had found Zo sooner! She did our hair for my sister's wedding and I can honestly say it was the first time ever that ALL of us loved our hair and felt like we got exactly what we wanted. She was so nice and friendly and clearly extremely knowledgeable about what she was doing.

I would recommend Zo to anyone looking to feel beautiful for their special occasions. She went above and beyond to accommodate me and her communication was great. All i did was send a couple of inspiration pictures to her and she took care of the rest - AND NAILED IT. If you’re nervous about being able to communicate exactly what you’re looking for - don’t worry. She asks questions throughout the whole process with multiple check ins to make sure you like what’s happening and if you want to adjust anything, it’s no problem at all. She asks questions that I wouldn’t even think of but that make it easy to communicate exactly what you want. I would definitely book her again for any other fancy occasions I have and can’t recommend enough. Thank you Zo for making me feel so beautiful on my special day

Beautiful! Delicious! Those two words would describe very well this place. The decor is superbly executed. The style, colours, mood. It’s one of those place where the restaurant itself looks as good as the plates and the food tastes as good as the plates look. I had the tuna and my spouse had the pasta with vegetables. Both were very well played and perfectly cooked. We got the bread as appetizer and it was good. Nothing special but good. Deserts looked really good but were both was a little too sweet for my taste. We relaxed with some mint herbal with it. The waitress was really nice and so was the hostess. On The pricey side but with the experience.

Went there for a quiet, solo afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. Service was unbelievably good from the lovely who served my table (her name is completely escaping me, but truly made my day special). The tea tower could have been better, as the toasts felt a bit stale, but the scones and tea were exceptional. The ambience was perfect, sunny with soft jazz. All in all, a lovely start to my day, and definitely looking forward to making this an annual visit!

Very charming bar. The cocktail was well made with a fair selection of vodkas. The red wine was chilled which was a disappointment.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Our table and chairs were quite low which made dining at bit awkward. The service was excellent! We enjoyed our mains but the tomato tartare was quite boring and expensive. The presentation while cute, made eating it a challenge. The tuna was perfectly cooked and my partner enjoyed the pork belly. Very limited menu.

Afternoon High Tea at Zoe's is magnificent and worth every penny! We had such an outstanding experience and as a culinary designer of tourism products, this afternoon was top notch at every touch point. Our server Garrick was exceptional and made us feel so special with his care of attentiveness to dietary restrictions and questions. We had a birthday in the group and they were so thoughtful. The tiers were loaded with specialty goodness and the tea just divine. We had a seat overlooking the street and loved it. Thank you Zoe's and Chateau Laurier. Cheers, Spicy Jan

We had a really lovely time for High Tea. Our waiters Chantal and Hensel were absolutely lovely and accomodating. The menu gives regular, vegetarian and vegan options and they let you swap individual items without fuss. We got a vegan and a regular and everything was tasty. The tea selection is varied and my earl gray was so good I asked for more water. The atmosphere is just right : with enough background noise that conversations can remain private, yet there is no need to speak louder than normal to be heard by your friend.
An overall great experience!

If you are looking for a unique and aesthetic store, this is the one. I past by the store a lot of times going to uni and always stop by even just to walk around. The store gives really nice and warm vibe, and there is something for everyone. Talking about the price, it’s definitely reasonable in my opinion because for unique things that you can find here, the price is not expensive at all for such an amazing quality.

The kitchen utensils over here have high quality with reasonable price. It does not contain the fancy and pricey items, but the ones with simple design, which makes them coexist with the other items in the same space harmoniously.

I also buy a leather bag from the Ontario local brand S-Q. It is made of vegan-leather and vegan dye.

Howard's is amazing and truly sets themselves apart with exceptional knowledge and service. The current flagship store is undergoing renovations and will be even better. We cannot wait to see the changes!

A truly special moment receiving this beautiful GMT-Master as a gift from my son upon arriving in Ottawa to visit him and my granddaughter. I had heard countless praises about Howard from my son, but meeting Stephanie and experiencing her exceptional hospitality made it even more memorable. This particular experience at Howard meant so much to me.

Nothing but the best experience at Howard Fine Jewellers, the only Authorized Rolex Dealer in Ottawa. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcome and completely at ease (luxury jewellery stores can often feel overwhelming), and never once felt any pressure or cash-grab vibe. The staff listened to my concerns and answered every question.

Sonja in particular was fantastic, she made the whole process feel like chatting with an old friend rather than a sales pitch. Palo, John, Beatrice and the rest of the team were attentive to my concerns and ready to help with any question I had.

Their Rolex selection is superb, and both products and services are always top tier, real craftsmanship and luxury in every detail.

Parking can be tricky nearby, but I’ve had good luck using the lot at 700 Sussex or spots in ByWard Market; either way the short walk is worth it.
