Can’t recommend Vision enough for rentals! We chose them for our wedding when they were quick, professional, and friendly during the initial booking process. In the lead up to our wedding, they were responsive and flexible, offering advice when needed and adjusting our rentals when requested. The delivery and pick up of the items was smooth and efficient, while the rentals themselves were of extremely high quality. Not a single napkin or white tablecloth had an imperfection, and everything we rented, from glassware to tables and chairs, was in excellent condition. The cherry on top is that their prices are competitive and felt affordable considering everything we ordered and the kindness of staff throughout.

It was absolutely amazing to work with Vision Event Rentals for my August 2023 wedding. I rented an assortment of decorations (table centrepiece decorations, fairy lights, drink dispensers, lawn games, etc.) and Vision Event Rentals delivered everything to my venue the day before the wedding. They also did a beautiful job draping material and fairy lights in our event tent, and I also loved the arch I rented from them (which they also assembled for me). Emilie and Stephanie were pleasures to work and communicate with, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to rent items for an upcoming wedding or event. Plus, their prices are super reasonable!

We rented chairs for our ceremony with delivery for our wedding. Extremely professional, called and they had great customer service, the delivery was so smooth and they came on time. Everything was in good condition, and I loved the fountain I would highly recommend renting it for your wedding/party. So stunning!

Vistek Ottawa is one of the best camera stores in Ontario, offering a fantastic selection of photography and videography equipment. Whether you’re a professional or an enthusiast, this is a great place to find high-quality gear, from cameras and lenses to lighting and accessories.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They take the time to understand your needs and recommend the best options without pushing unnecessary upsells. Their expertise makes shopping here a great experience, especially for those looking for advice on new equipment.

One great feature is that they sell film, which is a plus for analog photography lovers. However, they don’t offer film development services, which would be a great addition.

The only downside I noticed is that the store is not always well-stocked. Some popular items can be out of stock, which can be frustrating if you need something urgently. It would be great to see them improve inventory management to keep more essential items available.

Overall, Vistek Ottawa remains one of the top camera stores in Ontario, but a better-stocked inventory would make it even better.

I visited Vistek in Ottawa yesterday on Black Friday, and I was very impressed! The store pleasantly surprised me with its reasonable and attractive prices, especially on professional equipment. I picked out a backpack priced at $320—it’s a high-quality and convenient option. I hope to purchase it soon!

As a photographer and videographer, I’ve been a loyal customer of Vistek for some time. Last year, I purchased my Canon R6 Mark II camera here, along with the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 lens, an Amaran 100x light, and a Zhiyun Crane 2S gimbal. Every single purchase has exceeded my expectations, and I’ve been more than satisfied with the quality and service provided.

I can confidently say that Vistek is an excellent store for photographers and videographers. I will definitely be returning for more gear in the future. Thank you, Vistek team, for your outstanding service and dedication!

2 weeks ago I had to make a significant purchase (as in thousands of dollars) in a new camera and accessories. Being a YouTuber I had specific needs and questions. Steeve (yes with two e’s) was excellent in his service. I was there for a long time asking many detailed questions and he did an excellent job helping me. I wanted to try a new store as the local competition I felt has dropped dramatically with their customer service the past few years. I left Vistek a very happy customer! Thank you again Steeve!

I've been using this meal delivery service for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier! The food is fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared.

Omar and his team are responsive and seem to genuinely care about their customers. Recently, they even manually updated my order to make sure everything was just right when I asked for a custom accommodation.

It’s clear they’re continuously improving, and I’m excited to see the new updates to their website coming soon. Highly recommend if you're looking for high-quality meals and top-notch service!

I've tried 3 different meal delivery services in Ottawa, and Vittle has been hands-down the best. I've now been eating with them for almost a year and half. The food tastes delicious, healthy, and fresh. There's good variety to the meals. The portions are good sized for the price (I order 10 "body builder"-size meals per week, and it's enough food to last me for all 7 days' lunches and dinners - and I eat a lot). The customer service has always been responsive and accommodating, and they seem to really care. They've gone above and beyond to help me out when I've had any issues. I'd highly recommend.

I love Vittle! The food is incredible and I just love the service! As someone with chronic pain, I struggle to get all the nutrients I need, and Vittle has made my life so much easier, with fresh nutritious meals that come right to my door! Plus, I get to try a wide array of new flavourful dishes each week! I have recommended Vittle to anyone I come across. Omar and his team are amazing and the service is very user-friendly. Rushed into the place to buy a shirt before a sudden interview after finding nothing that fit properly at the stores nearby. The man there grabbed a shirt that fit almost perfectly first try and then did a couple adjustments to make it fit nicer.

From the photo you can see the quality of clothing sold at Vivati. Every male in my family owns a Vivati clothing including my sons. Ricardo provides a one on one service to allow the clothing to fit us for the special occasion and the price is overly reasonable. I recommend his clothing and services.

Great store with a large variety of jackets and suit sets I was not disappointed with. Found what I needed in no time thanks to the friendly and very helpful staff. They do tailoring and prices are very affordable. You can find jackets for as low as $99 with great quality I highly recommend this place.

There was a small hiccup with the delivery, but the owner, Vivian, responded immediately and went above and beyond to make things right. I came to Vivian flowers to get a corsage and boutoneirre for my dates prom this year. I came in a day before extremely last minute and the two ladies gave me great service with amazing flowers that perfectly matched my dates dress. My date and I received many compliments the night of our dance and we for sure had the nicest set.

I had ordered flowers on-line for a funeral service. They were to be delivered to the funeral home. The flower arrangements were very beautiful. I also think the price was reasonable. I am extremally glad I ordered from Vivian. I will certainly order from this flower shop again.

We had a wonderful GF birthday cake made to order. The owner was very accommodating with my request for a lemon cake and it was sooo awesome to get such a gaint gf cake! My wife loved the quality of the sponge and the butter cream icing. We even froze half the cake and eat it over couple weeks, and it was stall great after being defrost ed. Highly recommended!! Ive recently developed a rather aggressive intolerance to gluten and with my birthday coming up was pretty bummed about not being able to have a decent cake. My husband ordered this for me and oh my god. Not only was it one of the best gluten free desserts I've had so far, but it may be the best birthday cake I've ever had in general. Not too sweet, actually moist, no intense artificial or sweet taste. As an avid sweet treat consumer this was incredible.

Large order of treats delivered as a birthday surprise from my daughter. Would have preferred a list of items. Was unsure about dough and rye bread as I’m highly allergic. Had to call to find out. It was “mock” rye which was great. Even better flavour the following day. Eclairs are my favourite. So soft and delicious. Lemon pie, cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing also top notch. Everything was good! Courteous delivery staff who confirmed order was for me. Every item was well packaged. Curious about delivery costs as I’d like to make another order. Did not see on website.

Voila Bakeree is fantastic, I bought a full selection of sweets from the bakery and I was very happy. My husband and I particularly loved the coconut cream pie. Everything that I tasted was very good to excellent quality. I felt like the home cooking I had missed since becoming gluten free in 1997 had finally caught up with me. I'll be going back soon for more chocolate chip cookies and a pie or cake if they have one. Thank you, Ryan, for making such good stuff.

The sweets are very good! The blueberry cheesecake is awesome! But the most important thing no matter how good the food is, customer service :) Welcoming, not-rude and non-condescending approach to a customer is very much appreciated. I highly recommend this place to people with allergies like me. They’re not just gluten-free they’re also soy-free. I will surely come back for more! 😉

Forever grateful that I called Michel from W Flowers Ottawa when it came to a floral arrangement for my dad’s funeral. I only ordered a day before the service and the flowers were delivered before I even got to the funeral home myself. Online it was shown with only red flowers but Michel customized it to our liking and helped me decide on the ribbon. I can’t thank you enough for this beautiful arrangement, I know my dad loved them so much too.

Absolutely my favourite place to get flowers for my partner. The owner is a lovely human and gave me history on where the flowers I bought came from which was nice. I love the feel of this floral shop too. They took extra care packaging my roses which is awesome too. I like when people pay attention to detail on things like this.

Michael is fantastic - current owner since 2019 - his shop is filled with beautiful flowers - seasonal - all seasons, all holidays - I’ve been coming here before and post Michael - very happy with the floral arrangements and quality of products - great delivery all the time. Glad Michale is so passionate about his art!!!

I brought my partner here for his birthday and we were absolutely thrilled with our stay from start to finish. We enjoyed dining at both restaurants and the food was excellent, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the hot tub and a fire along the water, the staff made us a fire and asked us if we wanted cozy blankets which was so thoughtful! We slept with the windows open listening to the waterfall and the rain on the tin roof. 10/10 experience. We will absolutely be back.

We stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights at the end of July, returning for a romantic getaway after having celebrated our wedding here a few years ago. We had such fond memories of our previous stay and were looking forward to reliving a bit of that magic.

Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to our expectations this time. It seems the mattresses have been changed since our last visit and are now far too soft so much so that I experienced significant back pain, which affected the rest of the stay. We also had to change rooms after the first night due to a very loud air conditioning unit that kept cycling on and off through the night. The room could have been cleaner as we noticed clouds of dust on the floor corners. Though our original room, which was closest to and overlooked the waterfall, was otherwise quite charming.

On a more positive note, we did enjoy some aspects of the stay. The sauna and outdoor fire pits on the grounds were a lovely touch, just be sure to request staff assistance to have the fire lit. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was beautifully presented and still delicious, though it would be a nice touch to include a cappuccino or latte as an option, rather than only regular coffee. The pool was another highlight, especially with the beautiful weather during our visit.

While the setting remains lovely and the amenities are appreciated, unfortunately, I don’t see myself returning unless the mattresses are updated. It’s a shame, as this place holds special meaning for us.

Nice hotel. Great spa. 2 dog friendly rooms. No clear information during checking regarding breakfast times. The dinner took 4 hours and the food was not worth the wait. Very nice wine selection and great views of a small river.

Had a wonderful stay at Wakefield Mill. The ambience next to the river is without equal. I came with my husband and we had an exquisite romantic dinner at the Muse restaurant overlooking the falls. All staff were courteous and helpful. If I could give a higher rating I would.

Had a lovely stay with my girlfriend in the newer building. Very calm and charming place to enjoy nature. Our room was perfectly clean, with lots of natural light, and a nice view on a pond. The restaurant (The Muse) is excellent (had dinner and breakfast there) with some exceptional dishes (the Tataki is worth being served in Michelin starred restaurants, saying this from experience). Great service overall. Had a wonderful time and will definitely come back !!!

Wall is the best. One of their techs picked up a piece of gear I left at a gig and they babysat it for me for months till I was able to come get it. THEN they sold me a piece for my mic stand for what was beyond a reasonable price. Total pros!

Great staff. They're always friendly and helpful. This is an "event store". It's similar to a music or video/camera store (mics, cables, lights and gaffer tape) but they'll have items that are harder to find or more heavy-duty. Think large-scale or outdoor stage events. However, they'll hook you up with whatever you need for your small-scale event as well. They don't carry cameras, instruments or instrument amps but you can get just about anything else for your event there. My last purchase was a heavy duty piece for a speaker stand (used for a camera crane).

Wow! What a great experience! I came in for repairs to my microphone because they were recommended by the manufacturer. Now I know who to buy from when I want excellent service over the product's life.

This is a place for the expert and newbie. They have the knowledge and experience, and are willing to share it to ensure you get what you need. If you need sound equipment, new or rental, I found them a great place to go.

Rad local store with some great supplies (like large canvasses) that honestly I wouldn't be able to easily get centrally in a larger city. Their upstairs gallery is beautiful and spacious. I've heard they have classes and workshops up there too!

The amount and quality of the products and the service make it great. I still cannot access the store alone though. The sidewalk in front is City of Ottawa property, so I wish they would financially assist in building a permanent ramp into the pedestrian infrastructure.

Sara photographed our wedding in August 2025 at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. She was wonderful to work with, and captured our event and the architecture of the venue beautifully. Several of our guests commented that it was fascinating to watch Sara work, capturing candid moments at just the right time. The perspective of her photos as a documentary photographer make it seem like our photos were taken by a guest in the middle of the action, and the results are beautiful. I would recommend Sara to any couple who are comfortable trusting the process and letting the photographer do her thing. We were very happy with the results!

As a local Wedding Planner, I have worked with Wedecor since 2011 and have always had my couples extremely happy with their design and decor. So much so that it is very common to have tears of joy when we do a room reveal with them before opening the doors to guests. Nancy's ability to design a gorgeous wedding is unbelievable, making suggestions that align with our couples vision but also adding in ideas they never had thought of. Their inventory is also the largest in the city with new additions coming in for every wedding season so it just grows and grows! They are also the preferred decorator and florist at many venues which can help with things like earlier access for set ups. Highly recommend!

This flower shop was great to deal with and very accommodating with last minute changes! Very impressed and pleased with the arrangement! The flowers are beautiful. Will be ordering again from this flower shop.

This order did not go as planned.

This arrangement was for my parents would be 50th wedding anniversary (which Dad is no longer with us). This doesn't look like an anniversary arrangement with the pink flowers (which were not the colour requested) but more of a Valentine/birthday arrangement.

Paid $320 with tax, and did not get the delivery as described, nor the arrangement as I ordered and requested.

1. The delivery was not as scheduled. I asked for 12:30-1:00 p.m., and they delivered it right after we left to go and pick up lunch at 11:00 a.m., neighbour next door brought it over to us once we got home.

2. The foil balloon was deflated from the cold. Possibly sitting outside and/or the delivery van too long.

3. The vase did not look like a teardrop, it was filled to brim with water making it very difficult to lift carry without spilling on living room floor and clothing.

4. The flowers were not as described - I asked for them not to be open but closed the majority were open with one of the colours pink, which I asked for peach, blush or champagne (ivory/white) we didn't ask for pink.

5. The vase was to have a big blue ribbon it did not.

Have purchased many orders over the years and it looks like they were so quick to put it together the baby's breath is all clumped together, the yellow roses all in one spot.

Order went from 5-star down to 1-star based on all the points noted.

Basic hotel with nice upgraded rooms. Comfortable bed, lots of usb and plugs easily accessible in room. Room was quiet. Had a ground floor so walk out door to parking lot which was handy. Breakfast was good but dining room was full so had to take back to room. Close to highway so great location if you are travelling.

I strongly recommend this place for long term visits. We booked 4 nights and it was really good. The beds had daily changes for us and they weren't all that bad. The bathroom was fine except the toilet ring was a bit small. it had a nice view and decent TV shows to watch. It also had a bunch of outlets to charge your devices. The elevator was really fast. We were on the third floor and from floor 1 to floor 3 is like 0.2 seconds. it's conveniently located next to a shopping mall 300 meters away to get food and supplies quickly. There was plenty of parking spaces and the breakfast was nice. There was a variety of classic breakfast foods and treats enough for long term visits. WelcomINNS really does live up to its name.

This place was amazing, great staff, great rates, very clean, it has a laundry facility, and reasonable priced, Washer was $2, Dryer was $1.75, Vending Machines were reasonable priced as well. Very comfortable bed, We were on the main floor, which gave us a convenient door from our room, straight to the parking lot. Bathroom was huge, and had tub/shower combo. The Breakfast was excellent. Highly Recommended.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights, they had issues checking us in as the booking was made through trip.com which went through Expedia. Somehow they figured it out later.
The room was spacious, clean. They provided room services every day except for one day when they were understaffed.
Shower has only half door so be ready for some splashes. I recommend bringing your own body wash (they provide soap which is hard to wash off) and shampoo.
People who can't sleep with noise in the room, should consider their options. Air conditioning is super loud (like factory machine) , it constantly woke us up at night, there is no option to open a window instead.
Breakfasts are always the same, not a single thing changes: fried/boiled eggs, sausages, pork?cutlets, pancakes, apples, oatmeal, bread. The dining room was always overcrowded, the space should be at least twice as big. Sometimes we came and there was no food, so we had to wait for someone to come and bring food (they don't have a person there on a regular basis).
But thanks for providing water every day!
I can't say our experience was bad, but it was not great either.

professional and courteous staff, spacious and comfortable rooms with amenutues, lots of outlets and charging ports, well stocked and ample continental breakfast with options for most food needs. Definitely would stay again. Very economical and accessible from the highway, restaurant right next door
