I highly recommend checking out the Bridal Centre. It’s a very beautiful venue. I had my appointment with Katie. She was very kind and helpful. She gave suggestions for alterations to make the dresses look and fit the way I envisioned. This was my first dress appointment and I found the one. I will be using some of Katie’s ideas for the alterations as well. Thank you so much for making me feel comfortable and finding my dress :)

Cecilia was WONDERFUL!! I am so happy she was the one helping me find my wedding dress! Cecilia knew exactly what I was looking for and pulled the most beautiful dresses for me to try on, all while making sure myself and my group were taken care of. It was a lovely experience, and I would definitely recommend booking!

Excellent place for anything wedding or graduation dresses. The seamstress that did the alterations was amazing and even went above and beyond. She fixed the flower on my daughter's bridal shoes. She also taught my other daughter the miad of honour how to fix the bustle on her wedding dress. We are so pleased that we choose The Bridal Centre in Calgary for my daughter's special day!

I recently attended a wedding at The Gathering Ranch and it was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The outdoor fireplace was a great touch - it made for some amazing pictures!

The highlight of the venue was definitely the pond with its own private island and bridge access. It was perfect for taking pictures and gave us a truly unique backdrop for our friends special day. We also loved that that they were a full service venue, and made sure we had everything we needed, including accommodations at the ranch house for the bridal party!

Overall, I would highly recommend The Gathering Ranch as a wedding venue. They made sure the day was perfect!

Absolutely wonderful stay. The hosts Aaron and Kari were very welcoming and only wish we could stay longer.

Kari and Aaron have so many stories and it was great to hear from them.

For anyone suffering with jet lag or an early riser, this is the place to be! The sun rises throughout the house and outside was SO peaceful.

The property has a hot tub and sauna but we didn't get chance to utilise this as we went to the Strathmore Stampede (which is literally 5 minutes away).

The beds are very comfortable and the house is fully kitted out for people visiting. Breakfast and the coffe bar were also sublime - absolutely loved our breakfast burritos 🌯

There are two beautiful German Shepards and an outdoor cat which are very friendly.

Would highly recommend The Gathering to everyone and anyone open to an excellent hosted BnB experience 😀

We were there for a bachelorette party this weekend. We were supposed to have the whole place to ourselves but the owners were there and just hanging out in the house with guests when we got there.
When the owners finally left, they locked their two big German shepherds in their locked room that we couldn’t access and left them in there for hours until we called them to ask them to deal with the dogs. Those poor dogs barked the whole time they were in there. And finally when they came, they just stayed at the property for the rest of the evening.
The owner kept coming into the kitchen to attempt to join our conversation? And just made things awkward since they were supposed to be out of the house by then.

It was a strange experience, I do NOT recommend staying here.

Not just a one time experience. 5 years ago it took several messages before they finally returned my call. Missed a deadline for a project for my vehicle. I have been calling and leaving messages for the past couple of weeks and have stopped in and not even the courtesy of a call back. If you don't want a job, then at least have the courtesy to call and say so. Hard to support local with customer service like this. I understand from others that not returning calls is quite a common occurrence. Very unprofessional. It takes a lot for me to speak up.

Today we seen a lady absolutely flipping her lid at a worker. I give props to the worker for being cool and collect. Every staff member I have talked too is helpful, friendly and professional. I always find the most amazing and cool things at this thrift store! So if you're in Strathmore, definitely worth the look!

Very clean, bright and well laid out store with good variety of goods on offer. The staff I encountered were all helpful and cheerful. Prices for some items were a bit higher than previously seen (such as shirts) but by and large prices were quite fair! For seniors there is a 10% discount applicable everyday.

Over priced for clothing and house items
I found a bench hoodie for $16.99 with broken zipper, I brought to a staff member to let her but she said that it is marked down in price because people will buy it cheap and fix the zipper. I also found hoodies that were same maker for different prices.. the staff member also got mad about people coming in to donate..
the management needs to work on better pricing and stop selling broken items …

Nice, clean store, but things are definitely overpriced. I’m sure they would move twice as much if they lowered the price, so that those with less money could afford to get something. A lot of the clothing is priced at what you could get clothes in a store for when on sale, but these clothes are not new. You cannot try anything on; you can return, but only for a new store credit exchange, so if you are passing through that doesn’t work.

Well if you're looking for great deals will good luck if you think Value Village is over priced this store is beyond over priced. Clothing might be cheap but some items are over price by double and same price as retail. The only thing good is that it's new place that's clean and bright.

The Two Bit Bandits were the band at our wedding reception in May 2024. Choosing them was definitely one of the best decisions we made when planning for our wedding day and the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night until the very end! The set lists they performed were a perfect balance of something for everyone, and they DJ-ed over dinner and the songs that we wanted in between sets. They're a very talented band and we're so happy we hired them.

The most amazing band you can imagine. Hired these guys for my wedding and have never heard more positive feedback from a wide range of people (young and hip, middle-aged and grandparents). The quality of these musicians is unparalleled. They are truly artists - mixing multiple songs together, high-energy personalities. The energy in the room was legendary. Such a cool experience. Goth Squidward even said these guys slap.

We had The Two Bid Bandits play at our wedding, and they were absolutely phenomenal! They kept the dance floor going all night long with an incredible variety of music that catered to all of our guests. Not only were they the highlight of our wedding, but they were true professionals from start to finish. These guys truly just showed up and set everything up perfectly. They needed no direction and worked seemlessly with the venue. If you're looking for a band that will keep the energy high and make your event unforgettable, look no further. We can't recommend them enough! 10/10.

We hired the band for our wedding dance in June of 2023 and they were absolutely terrific! They kept everyone dancing all night with a great selection of songs. The DJ service in between sets was also excellent. We were so glad with the decision for our dance - it was definitely worth the cost! The dance was a hoot thanks to The Two Bit Bandits!

We were recommended the Two Bit Bandits through a friend of a friend for our wedding. We weren’t too sure what to expect but had heard good things and looked at the good reviews, and they absolutely blew us away!

They handled all of our sound, from ceremony music and vows, to cocktail hour, speeches through dinner, and then of course, live music after dinner.

They made the night! Every member of the band was so talented and positive. Everyone was on the dance floor. I can’t say enough good things about them and how amazing they were. They let us sing on the mics, they hyped everyone up. We had so many people after the wedding saying that they were the best wedding band they’d ever heard.

They were honestly incredible and I’d recommend them to anyone who is looking for a live band.

This establishment is devoted to giving local artists a place to showcase and sell their work. Strathmore & area has a tremendous amount of very talented people & it’s wonderful to see examples of their work all in one place. Whether you visit just to learn about the history of the building, which in itself is interesting, or to check out the artisan’s creations, you will enjoy your
experience. Open 10-4 Monday to Friday. I’ll make sure to get some pictures the next time I’m in.

The Vault has a wonderful collection and display of local art. Highly recommend you visit and check them out and support local!

Oh My Gosh! If I was ever to get married again I would not even bother going anywhere else! Found my wedding dress here, great service!

I put my dress on and wanted to make sure it was the dress… I left went to my appointment else where … kept thinking of that dress I had put on… came rushing back 20 minutes later and the lady let me put it back on! She was great and even recommended a great person to do alteration on it! Best dress experience

I definitely recommend this bridal salon. My plus sized daughter did not feel beautiful or bride-like after visiting several other places. They had such a poor selection and most could not even be tried on. We found Bridal Plus online and decided to give it one more try. Donna immediately made my daughter feel at ease and readily found gowns for her to try. We found a beautiful dress which came in exactly when promised. I highly recommend Donna to anyone wanting to feel like a beautiful bride, no matter the size.

They had such a beautiful range of dresses! I am so thankful for their help to make my first time trying on wedding dresses so enjoyable. It is best if you schedule an appointment. There are bridesmaid dresses available too!

Please do NOT buy from this store. I am heartbroken right now.
I purchased my dress in November and paid expedited shipping to be here by end of March. March 18 she says its on the PO for next week. I hear nothing from her until I call her on April 5 when she promised to refund the expedited shipping. I still have not received the refund or my dress (Apri 30). I have called and called and called and called and if I can even get ahold of her she gives me some sort of excuse. I even went to her shop and it was closed during operating hours. I finally got ahold of her after 3 weeks of calling without a response (april 5 - 24) and she said that it was ready to be shipped without the sleeves. I asked her for some proof and she has not provided it. It totally ruined the wedding dress shopping experience and I'm left empty handed ahead of my wedding day.

I decided to choose my dress from this place everything went well. We had went through the postal strike so I gave the time to catch up with shipments. The customer service told me my dress COULD HAVE been on a shipment(4weeks ago now from today) and that my dress would have been shipped just on its own and that the store didn't want to pay the $60 just for 1 dress to be shipped. Couple weeks go by and she finally said my dress was on a shipment and should be here end of that week or next week FOR SURE.... 2 weeks go by ..and still nothing.

We usually only get coffee but thought we’d get food today. I ordered a BLT on an everything bagel. The order came back with sausage on it and the most deformed bagel Ive ever seen. Ill include pictures. There was one other car in the drive through so maybe do better, especially when you arent busy. Id have waited a bit longer. My husband still ate it and it was great, but if we pay for it, give us the quality everyone else gets, and dont put meat if its not asked for. Staff are always amazing. We will continue to come for coffee but skip the food.

Edgefield location is always my go-to for coffee and quick meals. Staffs are friendly, efficient and welcoming, making each visit enjoyable. My order is always served from the way I liked it — COFFEE, fresh and hot and warm food. This store is very clean and comfortable, perfect for catching up with friends and for a short break. I highly recommend this location if your looking for an excellent service and quality of food!

I really like going to this location. It makes me feel at home because of the friendliness of the all the staff. They remembered my order every time and I always get the freshest coffee and food.

I much prefer this location over the others in Strathmore. They have a better selection of donuts and pastries available. I love banana nut muffins, but most locations don't have them anymore. But these guys do! 🥰 It's always clean and has a few comfy chairs by an electric fireplace. I even sketched it with my watercolors, it looks so good! They rarely make mistakes on my orders. And the staff are so kind and friendly! Thanks for a wonderful job!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our engagement photo session with Nandini and Jay! They truly went above and beyond, bringing our vision to life in a way we never expected. The photos turned out stunning, and we couldn’t have asked for more. They made the whole experience so special, and we are completely in love with the results.

I have gotten professional headshots done for work and also family photos with Jay and Nandini, this power couple got candid shots of my 3 kids reflecting their personalities to the core, each the experience was phenomenal. I recommend working with them for all your visual needs.

Unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. Once the contract was signed and deposit paid we had NO communication. It was extremely frustrating. I ended up opening a new email account to get rid of the "I never got your email" excuse. No matter what email we chose to use (out of 4 differnt emails from different providers)it still "never was sent".

We had to do the scouting of our locations ourselves- and the location i chose and PAID for, was not even used! I even said during the photos how I wanted my indoor location and was told "no, they would just take more out doors"instead of moving indoors where it was warmer and had certain photos I wanted at that location.

Our budget was not worked with; We were promised service we never received. We never talked through our "set list" hopes.

I had tried desperately to explain how important the photos were to us and we just got taken.
As proper business- once they realized how unhappy I was after the engagement session that there were SO many problems instead of ignoring our concerns- they should have steped down and allowed us an out to choose someone else. Not string us along until it was MUCH to late to change.

My concerns and requests were ignored. The photos were VERY stiff and posed. My guests were uncomfortable with taking them. There were no black and white photos as requested. There was no imagination in any of the photos. EXTREMELY repetitive. Many photos I requested were missed.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at all- the extremely poor communication was a huge disappointment. We were not understood in what we wanted and it resulted it many missed photos and many unwanted photos in its place.

People are being told that the store is closed upon arriving at 3:00 p.m. On Thursday Sign says they're open till 10:00 that's false advertisement

Good prices. Good location. Line-ups at times. Once charged for the previous customers steaks and cheeses; blonde cashier not even apologetic, apart from this, not a bad store.

Prices are most definitely more reasonable than other grocery stores. (PST) Like Safeway(expensive). A full box of chicken drumsticks were 8 bucks. What a great deal. The store's clean(except the ladies room). The store is organized and I had a pleasant experience.

We first met Todd over 10 years ago when he captured our daughter’s newborn photos — and I still remember thinking he must be a baby whisperer. He worked with such quiet confidence and warmth that I instantly felt at ease, even in those early, sleep-deprived days of new parenthood. I had a great time at this Telus location. The rep helped me find a great plan and even took the time to find me a number that works well for my needs. Also, the entire team that I delt with was fun, enthusiastic and genuine.

Went in to transfer a phone number into my name and upgrade my phone yesterday and both Sierra and Joshua helped me out more than I could ask for. For a process that I thought would be annoying, the entire process was almost seamless with their help. I cannot recommend Sierra and Joshua (at the Strathmore location) enough for anyone’s mobility needs!

Nice new clean modern building. taking strathmore into the 21st century with style and elegance. The farmers that used to sell their goods on this land now sell them elsewhere, parking lots are of abundance. Nice pond and walkway beside aswell this build blends well and doesn't district from the natural beauty that surrounds it. Would definitely go back to see it again.

The Town has no Visitor Information. When I phoned the town they say it is at Dairy Queen. Well nothing is there & nothing on Google. We went into friendly small business & heard that small businesses were trying to get together to do QR codes for tourists. That is great but like what we were doing just antiquing through southern Alberta we want the information on hand. This is the first time I have been into a town/city this size & have not seen any brochures or maps anywhere in their city. If there was maybe we would have stayed longer.

I am a Hillview Resident that is concerned about the speed on 262 oxbow Rd. and Hwy 817. They drive it like a NASCAR driver at about 100 kph or more for a 1/4 mile . There is school buses stopping for kid and people walking there dogs as well as joggers. I have complained several time to the town and and NO response back, so far nothing as been addressed until a human or animals get KILLED!!!

Getting a Business License is fast, staff are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It's a pleasure doing business with them.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a pretty good overall experience. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the room was clean with all the basic necessities provided. The bed was comfortable, which made for a restful stay.

We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub — a nice bonus! The hot breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. The hospitality team was very friendly and welcoming. We especially had some great interactions with Rose, Rodel, and Val — they really added a personal touch to our stay.

Great value for the price. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Hotel was welcoming, friendly staff, free breakfast was great & very well stocked. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Will definitely be staying again the next time I am in the area

The staff was very accommodating with requests from our young family. Bonnie was able to confirm a room near the banquet room that allowed me and my wife to utilize our baby monitor while our little one slept, which kept us enjoying the event a little later into the evening. The breakfast in the morning after was also very good, much better than most continental breakfasts at similar hotels. Thank you!

We always stay here when driving from B.C. to my parents in Saskatchewan. It's clean, rooms are well appointed, the pool area is fab and the breakfast is plentiful...coffee is also delicious. This last time, we had a wonderful person check us in, he was accommodating, went beyond with customer service and gave us a 10 percent discount for our one night stay. Thank you. I had the most wonderful experience ! I tried on a dress that I fell in love with but was not ready to commit because it was out of my element. The staff was very nice, helpful & not pushy! A few days later I called back & the dress was still available. I purchased the dress & received exceptional service from Suhaila! Great team & excellent service! I would definitely recommend. I ordered a dress online that was a final sale and at a very good price. I hadn’t really tried on the dress or examined it for that reason, however now that my event is nearing, the dress that was posted on the website and that I purchased is NOT the same dress that I was given. The neckline is different and so is the length. I ordered a midi dress with boat neckline and the one I received is round neck and knee length. The dress is beautiful but definitely NOT the same dress that was pictured. See photos. DO NOT BUY ITEMS ONLINE ON FINAL SALE. I had a fantastic experience at this store! The staff is incredibly lovely and helpful, making you feel valued as a client. I was in a pinch, searching for an evening gown for a last-minute event, and April went above and beyond to assist me. Her warmth and expertise made the process enjoyable. I felt like I was shopping with a friend💕 Plus, the store has a wonderful fragrance that adds to the overall atmosphere!

Urban Bride was an absolute dream to work with! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. They took the time to understand my budget and only showed me options that fit within it.

The fitting rooms were spacious and easily accommodated the friends and family I brought along with me. I was genuinely amazed to find a stunning, brand-new dress for just $900. Now I recommend them to every bride-to-be I know!

I had such a great experience with Stephanie at Urban Bride. I tried on maybe 12 different dresses and Stephanie was so patient with me. She made great suggestions on what to try on and was very respectful of my budget. I ended up with my dream dress and came in under budget! Would definitely recommend Urban Bride!

I loved buying my dress from Urban Bride. They were patient and made great suggestions. The atmosphere in the store was pleasant and quiet. All the dresses were within my price range, which made shopping much easier. Only downside is no in-house tailor.

Yesterday, my daughter and I had a couple of appointments looking for “The Dress”.
After feeling a bit discouraged from our first appointment, we arrived a 1/2 hr too early to Urban Bride where we met Steph. She not only squeezed us in early but was so personable, funny and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and guided us through what this process with grace! This place was amazing! We got our own private room, and Grace was super helpful! She listened to my wants and she delivered! I found THE DRESS for my wedding! I’m so excited and happy! Not to mention, the wait time for orders and the pricing are both within reason! I didn’t feel like I overspent and the dress is only supposed to take a few months to get here. I’m so excited for when my dress comes in!!

We eloped in Banff last week and Brad Brownell married us. We had originally booked another officiant that cancelled on us last minute, and wow what a blessing in disguise that we found Brad! He was amazing from the very beginning. He was accommodating, and he continuously checked in on us and helped calm our nerves. Our ceremony was so beautiful and custom - it was heartfelt and funny! This is a long overdue review, but Brad Brownell married us on July 4, 2024, and he was the most incredible officiant. Brad went above and beyond to personalize our ceremony and our guests adored him. We had countless comments after our ceremony about how our officiant did an amazing job.
