What a cute little cafe! It’s hard to find places in smaller towns like this that have vegan and gluten free options. I had the Pri Pri bowl and the lady in the back even came out and offered to make a vegan gf cupcake for me. Wonderful people and delicious food!

I feel like I rarely feel a restaurant deserves 5 stars but our family lunch today was perfect. My breakfast wrap was amazing! Everyone’s lunch was delicious and so were the coffees, cookies, and cupcakes.

Second time me and my girlfriend have ordered from smileys and disappointed again. Last time we got turkey that clearly came from a package. Not real chicken on her sandwich and the mashed potatoes I got with my meal taste like box mashed potatoes. Paid $35 for 2 people and we didn’t even eat barely any of it. Can’t fathom how someone could let food leave a kitchen in that condition. Huge disappointment.

Smileys is Definately a “small town diner”. It’s not meant to be the spot for a romantic dinner. HOWEVER…Smileys has consistently good food, and great service, and draws a big coffee crowd every morning. The breakfasts are always clean and reliable, the pizza could well be the best in town and any dinner option we have had (from
Burger to liver to soup to fish and chips and more) has been awesome. Courtney is one of our favorite waitresses, always smiley and efficient. Smileys, you have become our go to grill!

DJ Rob—aka Hurricane Hollywood—was absolutely incredible. From the moment we met him, we knew he was going to be a great fit, and he completely knocked it out of the park.

He brought an infectious energy to the day and was so much more than just someone behind a booth. Rob offered great music suggestions for key parts of the ceremony and reception, and took the time to connect with guests beforehand to fine-tune the vibe for the dance floor. That extra effort made a huge difference, people noticed, and they loved it.

Guests kept telling us how fun he was and how impressed they were that he got everyone dancing right from the start of the party and kept them dancing all night.

Marda Loop Brewery has Trivia night each week on Tuesday's. We've been going the past year now & must compliment the husband & wife team who DJ the weekly event. Nadia the event coordinator is not pleasant to talk to. I called her for information about the venue and as soon as I asked her if she speaks English her tone changed. She didn’t let me finish my sentences before she answered my questions with a one word sentence. I told her that I am interested in their caterer and bar service but 10 of my guests will need kosher food, and asked her if it’s okay for me to bring a third party vendor just for one of the tables, she said no. Not a good experience off the bat!

Went to a co-worker wedding at this location. Beautiful space. If the food comes with renting of the hall, then it's wonderful add-on.

I went there for a wedding reception, really good service from all the employees. They are very welcoming and attentive. Beautiful rooms for dancing evenings and even for live bands!!

My Wife and I really enjoyed using Special Event Rentals for our wedding. We loved that we could come on down to your location and try out all different types of looks for our tables. We tried many different combinations and color schemes until we found the perfect look for our special day. From plates, and silverware, to glasses and vases, to table cloths and runners and everything in between, it was all there! Their product selection is wide ranging. Delivery was a breeze, it was timely and everything was accounted for. Also, everything was delivered squeaky clean - there wasn't even a spot on a single glass! We loved how easy it was, and the help in the store was fantastic as well. Their price is on point with their competitors, if not a little cheaper. I would highly recommend using Special Event Rentals!!

We rented silver and white chairs for our 25th Silver Anniversary Hospital Gala and wow the chairs were such an amazing touch to the decor!! Not only that, but Moriah was such a delight to work with and so helpful and flexible in the planning process as we had to make slight revisions to our order here and there. We would love to work with this company again!

Used Special Event Rentals for our wedding and had an excellent experience. They were very flexible with changes to our rentals up to the week of the event. We picked up and dropped off our rentals and they had alot of staff to help load and unload. The entire rental experience was seamless start to finish.

Special Event Rentals Edmonton really helped me out, and was able to secure family size plating for 10 tables after a previous vendor fell through and Jacob was super helpful in getting me set up. Also faced a bit of delay on the return and after a quick phone call the team was able to work something out that, again, really helped me out. A really solid company, and I would absolutely reccomend them if you're looking for any type of event rental!

We recently used special event rentals for our wedding & everything we got literally turned our vision into reality! It was stunning. It was so easy to worth with special event rentals. Over the course of a year, I changed my mind a handful of times, and their flexibility and openness to swap things in and out was so appreciated. Amy helped me make decisions with my decor and table layouts, and I am so so happy with how everything turned out!

I have hosted two events in the last year and used Special Events to outfit both of them. They have a top notch catalogue of items to choose from and have made my "Pinterest Boards" come to life everytime. On top of the quality rental products, their service stands out to me. We rented the Disney 5 in 1 bouncy castle for an anniversary and birthday party over the weekend and the kids loved it. To get access to it over the weekend worked perfect. Would recommend over and over again to anyone!

I purchased a light fixture and unfortunately part of it was broken. I was lucky to have Julie on my side. After several attempts with the lighting company, we received the bad news that this company was out of business. No matter what, Julie continues to find solutions. She contacted other lighting companies but also without success.
Finally, she offered to replace my light fixture with another of equivalent value. I preferred to repair the chandelier myself.
You know what? It was missing crystals to complete the installation. Julie supported me until the end and sent me the missing crystals.
I have rarely seen customer service as impeccable as the one I received from Julie. So you can have peace of mind when you shop at Starlight Lighting.

I did not think poor customer service like this still existed. Ordered and paid for lights in May, three months later no updates despite my many unanswered follow ups. Finally, I walked in to ask and was treated like I shouldn’t be there … all three times I went! There was no one else in the store any of the times. How does service and treatment like this still keep a business around? Maybe this person will soon be gone and a more tolerable person replaces him. Brutal.

Ordered lights for my house off of their website. I called soon after and they said it would take 2 weeks. Over a month later they showed up. I returned them as soon as they showed up because my house is for sale. They charged me 50% for returning them!!! (25% for stocking??? And 25% for shipping??? I didn't even open the box they were delivered in. I encourage to avoid this company at all costs. I usually try to shop local but its not worth the waste of time and money. If i could they would get zero stars.

Read the reviews from the past year. It should be clear that you do not want to trust Starlight. In the last two years, I have called at least six times and visited the store three times despite living two hours away, about a faulty light fixture they sold me. Every time I speak to the owner he claims to have a vague recollection once I go through the details - and then promises to contact the manufacturer and do something about it. Crickets.
This is my only negative review on Google. I figured I gave the business many chances to fix the problem. And I was a repeat customer, having spent a significant amount with the business previously for a renovation.

Loved this place! We stayed one night in a tent while crossing Canada. The washrooms were spotlessly clean, the site was quiet and the location was very convenient to local businesses. Highly recommended.

I started going to the events when my daughter moved to strathmore a few years ago. I love the stampede had the best time. The christmas events are so much fun.

Went for the Stampede. Lots of parking and they had wonderful staff driving the shuttles around if you didn't want to walk. Food was good and the drinks were pretty cheap. Worth driving out for.

Can I give less then 1 star?!!?!!! My post from Facebook was deleted by them! But again I'll explain, I bought tickets to see my husband do dulling wit the Bulls. And he bought a ticket to run with the Bulls. Then the event got cancelled and I don't get a refund and he doesn't wait either. Strathmore rodeo stole ours and a bunch of other people's money. I will never go back!

This is the only curling rink I've ever been in so I don't know that standard but this was pretty good

This is a nice rink for a small town. Everyone is friendly making it a comfortable place to go. They put on teaching classes for those willing or wanting to try the sport. Great way to meet people. The ice person does a good job making good fun ice. New cooking staff in the kitchen, the food is great, awesome brisket and wings among other things. I would go there just for the food if i did'nt love the sport. Too bad it's not open year round.

We were here on Nov 25/26. Food staff were friendly and all the snacks we had were prepared quickly & very tasty. The facility has everything one would want in a curling facility. We ESPECIALLY LOVED the cameras on both ends of the sheet & the ability of being able to toggle between the two. The team had fun and we hope to return again for another spiel.

Went to watch our niece Curl and maybe have a bite. Food was ok but took for what seemed forever. Kids looked like there were having fun.

Nice facility, but the water is too cold, and the air temperature is too hot(I started sweating while watching lessons).
The viewing area for lessons is too small and doesn't face the kiddie pool or the hot tub (They used to have 3 viewing areas but stopped using 2 of them).
The diving board is rarely available to use because of lane swimming.
The waterslide is limited to 1 person at a time going up the stairs, so you can't go up to the slide with your child to help them.

Kiddie pool has toys and water features, lots of things to occupy little kids.
The hot tub is quite large with stair and ramp access.

My wife and our kids attended the pool last night. The staff there at the front desk were extremely rude and unprofessional yelling into the Mic at kids for horse play which they were only poking each other. They weren’t bothering anybody pushing anybody bumping into anybody then a few mins later the put their mis up to the glass where my wife had her back to and was holding our 9 month old baby and yelled into it again after that’s when they got called up to pay, my wife asked for two pairs of goggles to buy And was denied and told she can wait till everybody else can go in to swim. She came back 15 minutes later to be told. She needs to wait another 20 minutes. One to swim is only two hours.

Good place to unwind and relax in the sauna great water pressure and temperature in the showers etc kind ppl as well. If you forget a towel they will supply you with one no problem. They will give u peace of mind by watching over your personal belongings while u don't have to worry about things stolen in unlocked lockers :) enjoy

Great place to take the kids, grandchildren, or just have a nice date night in the hot tub. Staff are amazing. Keep up the great work. They are even there when you just need a shower when the hot water tank brakes. They are amazing and accommodating for everybody.

I love the Strathmore Aquatic Centre. I love going there the steam room. My daughters go there all the time. They also have a great Deep water exercise on Thursday nights. That they have a fantastic fitness instructor there named Heather High. Yes she is my wife, but she is awesome!!

My husband has been getting his hair cut from here for a few years now and the staff is extremely kind and do a great job! Today they offered to trim our 2 year old daughter’s bangs –free of charge– and they were so gentle & so sweet with her. She’s never had a “real” haircut and this was truly a great experience for her! The guys did a wonderful job and she loved it! Her first “big girl haircut”. Thank you to the staff at Strathmore Barbershop 10/10! Super kind people very understanding and care about complete customer satisfaction!

What can I say. My first time here and the service was impeccable. They guy that cut my hair did a fabulous job. Went out of his way to accommodate me and stay a Lil late to make sure I was styling and fresh. On top of that the pricing is affordable for quality. Thanks guys.

Went in with my son & dad to look at a scooter from the pharmacy. The guy was fantastic, very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I tried to purchase a couple drinks and some snacks for my lil guy and the gentleman behind the counter gave them to use free of charge (because dad bought the scooter of course). Great experience

Not a bad lil place to hang out. I know few homeless ppl hang out here.
But I had the had bad experience here. The FCSS told me to come here to get out of the cold because I have a dog. Yes it says no dogs but they allow them because if your homeless with a dog. But there is this est Indian gut who kicked me out because he is Discrimination against my dog. Bit keep this small dog there that Caused motion. But because he didn't like my dog he and the owner of flip flop coffee shop kicked us out when it was 65 km winds and raining.

I just moved to Calgary and only knew I wanted to buy a Jeep Gladiator. We were looking for a used vehicle and found what we were looking for at Strathmore Dodge. Karen Hermann greeted us and was able to give us the information were looking for regarding the used pick up. The questions she was immediately able to answer she provided very quickly and thoroughly. As a sales representative for the Dodge dealership Karen was engaging, educated in the used vehicle and the process to purchase. Upon the purchase Karen was interactive in providing all the necessary details of how to correct operate the electronic systems for the vehicle and overall was a job to purchase a vehicle from.
Karen as a sales person, Darren as the sales manager, and the finance fellow (sorry can't remember is name) were very personable and informative to work with regarding the purchase and would absolutely go to this dealership to purchase another vehicle.

I play shinny there. $5.50 for an hour and 15 minutes. They have shinny 4 times a week, check the web for details.

We decided to go watch some hockey and eat dinner here. The food was not good. I seen everyone else there bringing in food and I just assumed to save money. Guess I know for next time to bring outside food in. I recommend if you want more sales, get better food. This is sad since alot of families spend alot of money to have there kids in events there.

We had a great experience with Strathmore Ford. Upon getting ready to leave the house we were greeted with a flat tire. NO BIG DEAL, we will just go to one of the many tire places in town. Unfortunately because of the long weekend everything was closed! Luckily as we were driving we noticed it looked like Strathmore Ford was open. We pulled up and John was more than willing to take a look and help us in anyway he could. Within an hour our flat was fixed and we were able to have a working vehicle for back to school and work. Thanks again John, we truly appreciate it!

So grateful to have this amazing place in town. Perfect for birthdays. Fun drop-in times. My kids LOVE their gymnastics classes. Customer service was also very fast, clear and informative when booking their classes.

Strathmore Gymnastics is amazing! We are new to Strathmore and I love how flawless their processes are. If we miss a class, we just request a make-up token and can use it towards another class which may or may not be the same class we are registered for. My daughter has been able to take part in other classes like tumbling which is not her usual class. The online portal is also user friendly, and I love the communication we get as well via email, keeps us up to date.

The coaches are fun and you can tell they love teaching the kids. The facility is clean and well maintained. Although small, they have all the gymnastic areas needed and more. My daughter is in the Ninja class - loves it, comes home tired but excited about what she has learned and how she has improved. Great value for fees. Some optional fundraisers.

My kids have only been to two classes so far, but our experience has been fantastic!

The gym is clean and well-equipped, and the classes are very organized and structured.
I really appreciate that there is the allowance for make-up tokens, since we often feel obligated to attend other extra-curriculars despite bad weather or feeling unwell so that we don't waste our money.

Compared to other gymnastics lessons my kids have been enrolled in, SGC is a step above in several aspects and I'm so glad we've been able to join!

The Strathmore Gymnastics Centre is a great place for a birthday party!! It is very well maintained, clean and bright. Children and adults too, can burn off all their energy plus have a room with tables and chairs to eat food and celebrate.

Some of the staff was really rude and when trying to ask a question , getting responses that made me feel like I was stupid for asking. Furthermore, I was starting to feel untrusted in the store when I had them falling me over because I was lost on what I needed but didn't dare ask them for help any longer. I believe they were quick to judge people. And made a point of letting a person know when your not wanted in their store. Worst experience ever coming from a small town that o would normally praise that the small town stores normally give excellent customer service. So anyone looking for those building materials etc just stick to the canadain tire around the corner

I’ve been in a few times and they were very helpful. I went in today to spend $130 and as walked in a young sales assistant told me enthusiastically I had to have my reusable bag at the checkout.! I assume they were pre-accusing me of being a thief which doesn’t leave a great taste in the mouth. Never had any store do this before and not sure why I was humiliated at the entrance when I was happy to support a local store. Will not be going back.

The guy in charge of closing the store at this store location on August 26, 2025 at 7:54pm, should be retrained in customer service. I approached to enter the store at 7:54pm and he could not let me in because he felt I was too late and the store was closing in 5mins. I have gone to other stores like Walmart and just a minute before closing and they have let me in. I am very disappointed by this treatment. I have had very pleasant experience shopping at this store in the past and really treated well by other customer associates, but this fella's understanding of good customer service leaves much to be desired.

Troy is a great employee. He helped out my wife and myself with a new smoker. We want to say thank you
