Avoid this place if you’re looking for your ring - completely soured our experience and we will happily take our business elsewhere.

I had an amazing experience with Diamonds Direct while picking out wedding rings for me and my husband! I first met Monique at the Square One location in Mississauga — she was incredibly knowledgeable about diamonds and gold, patiently guiding us through the options and making sure we felt comfortable choosing the perfect rings. My fiance and I were engagement ring shopping and found good reviews for Diamonds for less so we decided to check them out for ourselves. We met with Alex and the rest is history. We started shopping around for an anniversary ring a few months back. I had booked three different appointments in one day. DFL was our first stop. We didn't intend to make any purchases during our initial visit, but within 5 minutes of meeting Serko, we knew we found the jeweler we wanted to work with. And yes, we made a purchase that day! Aside from his emmense knowledge of diamonds, he was also so friendly, kind and patient. Once my ring was complete, I felt unsure about how it looked on my finger, and wanted to make a few changes. I was nervous about approaching Serko with my concerns, but right away he made me feel comfortable and assured me we could make changes. Rather than give me a hard time about my indecisiveness, Serko worked with me tirelessly until I was completely satisfied with the end result. He constantly reminded me that my happiness was his top priority; and I truly felt like he meant it. These are large purchases, and Serko is aware of how important your satisfaction is. I appreciate how approachable he always is. I can't say enough about how STUNNING my ring is. The diamond itself is obviously incredible, but so is the craftsmanship. You can see by the quality, that they are true masters at what they do. I've already purchased an eternity band to match my new ring. This was such a great experience, and both my husband and I couldn't be happier. It's a very easy decision. If you're in the market for jewelry, Diamonds For Less is absolutely the place to go.

The best decision we made for our wedding was having the Digs perform! They are absolutely amazing!! They had all of our guests, of all ages, up on the dance floor for the entire night. Our guests continue to comment about how amazing the Digs were and we can't imagine our wedding without them. I used the Digs for my wedding back in September 2014 and couldn't have been happier with them!! I actually saw them play at the Drake Hotel one Thursday night and knew then that they would be the ones performing at our wedding. Not only are they all so extremely talented (and good looking), they also are very organized and my guests all had such a great time on the dance floor, thanks to them! I would highly recommend the Digs to play at your next event, wedding, bar/bat mitzvah... anyplace where there's a dance floor and you want it to be filled! Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Parked my bikes near Blackbird Vintages. I parked too close to a door so I messed up. I’m sorry. But the gentleman who needed to get through the door went totally insane and destroyed my bike. He slammed the door into my gear box. Ripped and broke several pieces. $1,000 worth of repairs.

I ordered a meal to go, but when I got home and opened it, I discovered the meat was missing. On top of that, I noticed the receipt included a 2.4% credit card surcharge just for the 'privilege' of using a card.

Melissa and her team at Archeo went above and beyond to ensure my wedding was spectacular. The communication was phenomenal leading up to the event and I was blown away by the support I received onsite. I truly felt like the guest of honour by the way the staff treated my husband and I. When there was a decor issue from another vendor, the Archeo team stepped in immediately with a great solution. We only received amazing reviews about the food. Wishing I could relive this day over and over again.

We were planning to have our wedding here and we're booking as early as 13 months in advance but they kept passing us around. Riane took several days to reply. It took them a week to reply after we demanded speedy response and when they did reply, they asked for another week. When they confirmed that the date we wanted was available, they again said that they cannot accommodate us or finalize the reservation.

We were very much willing to pay already but they're taking forever. It's like they don't want our business so we're booking somewhere else. Nice spaces but really difficult people to work with, not ideal for when you're putting a wedding together.

My experience with Distillery Events was HORRIBLE. My fiancé and I reached out to their team to inquire about one of their venues 14 months in advance of our desired wedding date.

The first few responses we received from their Sales Assistant, Riane, took around 3 business days. After receiving all the pertinent information we were told that if we would like to place a hold on our desired date, a site tour would need to be conducted. I confirmed twice that we were very interested in booking a tour at their earliest convivence and that is when they "ghosted" us.

After not hearing back from Riane for 3 business days, I sent a follow up email and I also called the venue directly. I was told I needed to go through sales and got transferred to Riane's personal line. I left a voicemail explaining that were were touring several venues in the upcoming weeks and would like to know the timeline of when a site tour could be arranged.

That was on June 23, 2022. Today, July 21, 2022, I received an email from Riane informing me that our requested date was no longer available. IT TOOK A MONTH FOR HER TO REPLY. Acknowledging my follow up email and voicemail or simply letting us know a timeline to arrange a site tour would have been appreciated.

Fortunately, we have found an amazing venue for our wedding that matches the level of communication and professionalism any couple would want for such an important event.

We were also considering another venue in the distillery for our Jack and Jill but after this experience we will not be moving forward with that plan or recommending Distillery Events to any friends or family. Would give 0 stars if possible.

I was shopping for a dress for my daughter’s wedding. It was a black-and-white theme and all guest, including the bridal party had to wear black. So I had some limitations. I visited a few bridal stores in the city and narrowed my choices down to a few dresses, but decided to try one more store, Diva Bridal Boutique. Jasmine was extremely helpful and very friendly and helped me select the perfect dress. I was incredibly happy with my selection and only had to do minor alterations, which was done by a friend. While my daughter definitely stole the show at the wedding, I was undoubtedly the runner up. In this case, as the mother of the bride, I don’t mind my daughter outdoing me, but I got rave reviews from a lot of people, and I liked what I saw in the mirror. I am ever so grateful to Jasmine for her kindness and attention to detail. My daughter and I took to her pleasant personality right away and she has been professional throughout our interactions. I would highly recommend Diva for your bridal needs.

Jasmine and Susanna have a wonderful selection of wedding gowns and evening wear. Jasmine picked the perfect reception dress that allowed me to move freely in my first dance. Thank you for making me feel beautiful on my special day!

Jasmine was great right from the beginning. Didn't pressure me into buying and didn't discourage me from trying different styles. Some I didn't even dream that I could pull off. We fell in love with this dress the moment we tried it. I never thought that I would be able to get a gorgeous dress like this one if I had not tried it in their store.

Being a plus mother of the bride it was extremely hard to try on dresses in most bridal stores because they only carry small sizes to try on and very limited on what they have available for a plus women to in vision what it will look like on. If stores do have any plus size dresses they are the standard box, straight cut with a jacket nothing exciting. So nice to know that Diva has a variety of different styles and plus fit sizes to try. Hopefully they keep plus size dresses in store for women like me to try.
I definitely will recommend Jasmine to anyone looking for an elegant dress no matter what occasion, no matter what size they are.
Dress arrived earlier than promised which was great.
They also have different price ranges depending on your budget.

You are in good hands if Jasmine takes care of you. I couldn't give the boutique five stars because I found that the other staff were not very good. The woman was not helpful and told me something looked good on me when it was clear that it didn't . Jasmine was great. I really like the dress I chose to wear to the formal wedding. Jasmine suggested different ways to wear the dress. She was helpful and very friendly. AND I was REALLY impressed when I received an email following up to ask how the event was (with details that I had provided two months prior). Now that is great customer service!

Jasmine at Diva was amazing. I came in less than 1 month before my wedding, looking for a dress and found the perfect gown off the rack. Small problem? it was about 1.5 inches too small in the waist. The alterations were done extremely quickly and professionally (although it was quite a bit more expensive than I had anticipated, at $350 to let out the dress on both sides by 3/4 inch with no extra beading added, and to add 2 strings to french bustle - if time permits, ask around) and the experience with Jasmine (store manager? owner? I'm not sure) was amazing. She made me feel gorgeous, she took the time to explain what would happen, and she squeezed me in despite my crazy short time limit. I would 100% recommend this store, and don't be shy to ask to look through the off the rack options. Super!

We just had Chris MC and DJ our wedding and we are SO glad we did! First, we have heard nothing but great words from all of our guests that attended. All our guests and vendors that spoke with Chris throughout the day spoke very highly of him.
Chris arrived very early to set up and ensure all equipment was working and everything was in order.
He really knew how to keep the dance floor going and listened to every single request we made.
He was overall a great MC that was so well spoken and full of great energy all day. And the best bonus was all the behind the scenes footage he took throughout the day and shared to social media!

Exactly who we needed. DJ Chris Rhythmz was the perfect DJ for our wedding. We wanted some control over the songs, so we sent Chris a 40-song playlist (over 3 hours of music) and he played each and every one AND he took audience requests. He found a really creative way of setting up in a small space to leave plenty of room for our dance floor. We had a fabulous night of dancing. And to top it all off, his price was very sensible. Thanks, Chris!

We hired DJ Chris to do our ceremony, cocktail hour, and wedding reception this summer and he was incredible. DJ Chris was on site early to set up and perform his sound checks. He played every song we requested and also had some great strategies for keeping guests on the dancefloor. We had a packed dancefloor all night with some of our guests claiming it was the best dancefloor they've ever seen at a wedding. You literally couldn't leave or you would miss a banger. Chris was easy to work with and very accommodating. If you want to get people on the dancefloor, Chris is your guy. Highly recommend.

WOW WOW WOW! When I told DJ Chris I wanted my wedding to be a party - boy did he DELIVER! I always said at my wedding I want everyone on the dancefloor and he literally did just that. I asked him to mix songs together and you bet he did just that! EVERYONE LOVED HIM! If you want your dancefloor to be lively and fun, then DJ Chris is your only option to provide just that.

DJ Chris took incredible care of us during our wedding. He played during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, acted as MC to introduce all the elements of the celebration, and used all his own equipment. He arrived early to set up and was extremely friendly and professional. He got to know our crowd and played a great combination of requests, dance bangers, and sentimental slow songs. Absolutely recommend hiring Chris for your event.

We enjoyed having DJ Elegance for our wedding. He was very helpful during the planning process, incredibly personable and easy to communicate with. He kept up the energy during the reception with lots of audience engagement. We wished more of our requested songs were played but overall the music was great and the dance floor was busy. We hired Mr. Elegance for our wedding and man where do I start?? Leading up to the wedding, we had many questions about how our overall day was going to go. After our first meeting with Benjamin, he gave us so much clarity. He isn’t just a DJ, he’s a wedding connoisseur. He provided us with so much information, so many answered questions, and so much wisdom on how to even get started with wedding planning. He even would give us “homework” with a deadline to make sure we were always on track.

On the day of the wedding, he was amazing. He coordinated an amazing show with our own wedding coordinator, and made sure that things stayed on time/got back on track. He also MC’d for our wedding and made sure that the energy in the room was always high. When it came to the dance floor, he KNEW how to read the room. Switched up the jams when needed, or continued with the same genre when he knew the crowd was enjoying it!

A Real DJ! When I walked into the wedding reception hall, DJ Jovie J was mixing songs, and adding beats and rhythms that work great together! I would be playing violin later that night, and I had sent him my backing tracks via email after a brief email introduction by the bride and groom. He had my backing tracks ready to go and an input for my violin mic. Through my performance sets, he balanced my violin and backing tracks volume levels. Worst experience ever. The least professional DJ of all time. Hired this guy to DJ a birthday party for us. Showed up about an hour late, couldn’t set up his own equipment. Once he finally got everything running, the music was horrible. He kept talking over the music ( talking is too polite, mumbled nonstop ). Started drinking and could barley keep his balance. Towards the end of the party he was hitting on all the guests, specially the men. Made everyone very uncomfortable. Wouldn’t recommend hi to my worst enemy.

Best ever!!! DJ PS (Payam) Dj’d for our destination wedding and rehearsal dinner in Cabo San Lucas in June 2025 and he was aweesom! I had hired Sam for my sister’s wedding, and he did a great job.

My only advice if someone is looking to hire him for a wedding is expect to be flexible with music selected. If you expect the playlist to be played with no deviations then this is not the DJ for you.

Otherwise though, he was responsive to emails and arrived at a reasonable time to set up for the wedding. We had a few last minute changes during the wedding and he helped make it possible.

Overall I was satisfied with the service received for my sister’s wedding.

Amazing Experience!

DJ Sam was amazing to deal with, we originally contacted him a year and a half before our wedding, he was very helpful and sent us a document to fill out leading up to the wedding meeting date. The document was very detailed and helped us even build out the timeline for the special day. When we virtually met, even though Sam was travelling the next morning, he still took the time to book the meeting with us and listen to what we had to say. He guided us with a selection of songs that he used in the past (extremely helpful!) and even asked questions that we hadn't thought of. Sam also met with us 2 days before the wedding to check if we had any changes which we did and he had no problems making a last minute change.

The day of, everything ran smoothly, Sam was there early, set up and ready to go, played everything we agreed upon and was very flexible in terms of reading the crowd and picking the right music. I also bugged him a couple of times during the dancing portion to play a specific song, without hesitation he agreed! He also was the MC and he was great at hyping up the crowd and even pronouncing tough Egyptian names perfectly! He was determined to beat a wedding that was next door and he was successful!

DJ Viggy did such an amazing job at my reception at Red Rose Convention Centre in Mississauga because he knew exactly which songs to play at all the right moments. The dancefloor was jam packed nonstop the entire night until 2am and everyone let the hall with huge smiles on their faces. DJ Viggy is literally awesome!

After having a terrible experience with another DJ vendor leading up to our wedding day, one month before our wedding, we asked our wedding coordinator to help us find a new one that we could trust. She recommended DJ Viggy.

From the very first phone call we immediately knew DJ Viggy was going to be amazing. He was extremely professional, polite, and easy going. A genuine joy to speak with, both on the phone and in person. He’s just one of those people that makes you feel at ease. We basically gave him very general parameters for music we needed - i.e. Hindu fusion wedding with a mix of Bollywood and western music, and then let him take the reigns “to feel the vibe and atmosphere of the crowd”. Let me just say he DID NOT DISAPPOINT. So many of our friends came up to us and said he was the best DJ they have ever heard at wedding. All of my wife’s Gujarati side were dancing all night too, because Viggy knew exactly when to transition and switch it up and all of the Bollywood music were absolute bangers that everyone was dancing too. My wife and I never saw our parents dance so much!

He also was able to accommodate multiple song requests for surprise group dances and our first dance and was able to even mix some of them.

Usually at weddings, near the end of the night people start to fizzle out, but we were dancing our hearts out until the very last second of the very last song. And then we still asked for an encore - for which DJ Viggy graciously obliged! After the music stopped, he even took time to converse with my wife and I and some of the guests - it was late and he didn’t have to, but just another testament to his character and his love for his work. Everyone is still raving about him a few days after our wedding now. Some of my friends regret not booking him for their weddings later this year.

We worked with Stephanie at Downunder Travel on our month long visit to Australia and New Zealand in January 2025. We knew a few destinations we wanted to visit but we weren't too familiar with either country so Stephanie created a fantastic itinerary for us, including flight and transportation arrangements, hotels, magnificent tours and excursions and must see destinations. We were thoroughly pleased with our trip and can't wait to visit again. Our trip to Adelaide and Kangaroo Island was beyond expectations. So many incredible landscapes, warm friendly people and more kangaroos, koalas, seals.amd sea lions than I ever expected to see. Flinders National Park was breathtaking. The full day excursion on Kangaroo Island included lunch in an old sheep shearing shed, converted to event space. Meals at Sea Dragon Lodge were excellent, served in a beautiful room overlooking the ocean. We were very impressed with the itinerary that Stephanie planned for us and would love to return to Australia again.

From my first phone call with Ryan Kennedy at Downunder Travel, I knew I had found the perfect person to help us plan our trip. I told him in only the most general terms where we wanted to go (Australia, New Zealand, and French Polynesia), for how long we wanted to travel (5–6 weeks), what we wanted to see (beautiful landscapes and interesting wildlife—no wineries and no museums), the type of accommodation we wanted (comfortable but not exclusive hotels in safe, convenient places), and the kind of trip we wanted (easy, not jampacked, and ending with complete relaxation). He replied, “I already have your trip planned in my head. Leave it to me.” Ryan has been doing this for a long time, and it shows in all the best ways. He organized the ideal trip for us. Every place we went was beautiful, every tour he booked for us took us to stunning spots we might not have seen otherwise, and every hotel was just what we wanted. The trip was perfectly paced: we did something every day, but, gratefully, no day was too crammed with activities. Being away for as long as we were, we didn’t want to feel exhausted and unable to enjoy what we were doing. Equally important, Ryan had us stay at each hotel for at least two nights, usually three, so we weren’t always on the move. That would have been tough! But, the best thing that Ryan did was take away the worry of planning the trip. I didn’t have to debate with myself about where exactly to go, where to stay, and what to do while there. I didn’t have to coordinate 11 flights, 13 airport–hotel transfers, 15 hotels, at least 11 organized excursions, and a rental car. Ryan did it all by listening well, offering the best advice for us, being efficient and communicative, and demonstrating humour. We had an amazing, hassle-free trip, and there is no doubt in my mind that a huge part of that is because of Ryan.

We just returned from a month in Southeast Asia. It was a wonderful trip organized by Stephanie from Down Under Travel. We visited Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Singapore. We saw everything we wanted to see and more. The trip was very well organized. The tour guides and drivers were amazing. Hotels were lovely. Buffet breakfast were plentiful with lots of choices. Optional meals included were great.
This is the second trip we have been on organized by Stephanie. Our last trip she organized was to Australia.
Never disappoints. We hope to book Japan with her very soon.
