Wedding Vendors in Toronto

Great hotel that is affordable in downtown Toronto! The outside of the hotel and the lobby look a bit deceiving because it makes it seem like they don't have much to offer. Although, our hotel room was great! It was spacious, came with a small kitchen (sink, stove, mini fridge, microwave, cups, and utensils), air conditioning, closet space, and a beautiful washroom that looks like it was recently modernized. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out processes were very easy. I absolutely loved how I was able to walk everywhere. The hotel was central to all the places I wanted to go to.

I stayed at the Dragon Gate Inn with my kids. We checked in in the evening, so I didn't get a good look around the room until the next morning. One of my sons woke up feeling ill with a bad headache and sinus issues (he had been fine for all of the rest of our time in Toronto). As I looked around the room in the morning, I found black mold and water damage in the dining area and kitchen.

I brought this up with someone at the front desk and asked for another room. They didn’t move me to another room. She said they would clean the mold (which shouldn’t have been there in the first place!). When we came back later in the day, I found a few of the mold spots to have been wiped off (I could still see black mould embedded in the dry wall - all that was wiped off was what was on the surface). But many of the other areas with the black mold weren’t even touched.

I brought up being moved to another room again and I was told that wasn’t an option.

I asked for a refund from Dragon Gate Inn. They referenced their cancellation policy as the reason they wouldn’t give me a refund. I didn’t cancel my stay. The issue wasn’t on my side; it was on theirs. I asked them to remedy a HEALTH issue at their facility and give me a refund. They refused.

The rooms are not well taken care of, and obviously the management doesn’t care about the actual experience or basic health of those who stay there.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!! For the sake of you and your family.

I reserved two nights for a really good price. The room was spacious for two people and clean. Even tho it wasn't fancy it was a good hotel. It even had AC , perfect for the summer. Service is good , they were nice and even showed us where the parking and room is. The location was just hard to find, but amazing nights 👍

I went in expecting the worst based on some of the reviews here. But we actually had a great stay. Towels and linens were freshly washed and smelled clean. No dirt or bugs.
Beds were even pretty comfortable
Shower had good pressure. Though bathroom sink was a slow trickle.
Staff was able to solve any issues and gave all the necessary information and were helpful, though stern.
Overall excellent value and great location. We'll definitely stay here again.

The inn covers the basics for a stay and is clean. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. They even provided some basic kitchen ware: cups/glasses, bowls, cutlery and kitchen tools, etc. There was a mini fridge and mini stove.
I enjoyed the location the most, as everything you need (cafes, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, tramway, etc.) is within walking distance; even the CN Tower is about a 40-minute walk. The transit system is very easy to understand and to use. Overall, it was a good stay.

I never thought I'd feel this beautiful in a dress! I'm not a big shopper, but my consultant (sorry, forgot her name) made me feel so comfortable while looking for a dress for my son's wedding. She found me the most flattering gown, and I felt incredible all night. Thank you for such an stress-free experience!

Just got my dress in the mail, and WOW, I am amazed by the quality! I was super nervous about ordering online since it was final sale, but the girls at Dream & Dress were so helpful. They sent me pictures of different colors, helped me pick the right one, and made sure I got the perfect size.

I couldn't make it to the store, so I ordered my prom dress online. I was worried, but it arrived quickly and fit perfectly! Daria helped me with sizing, and the quality was amazing. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this room—it's a great value and deserves a top rating. The space is spacious, impeccably clean, and smells wonderful. With the air conditioning working perfectly, it was the ideal retreat from the summer heat. The friendly host also made the stay even more pleasant. Though it takes about 38mins to downtown Toronto, it’s still acceptable and very convenient as the street car is just right in front of the house.
Overall, it's a cozy and comfortable place that I would happily book again.

Owner REFUSED to accept our booking through booking.com...continuously claimed "credit card error" even though we tried 4 different credit cards until they eventually cancelled our booking

Rubbish bed mattress could not sleep. Instructions left everywhere . No hand towels glasses or cutlery.

I stayed here for one night for a quick visit in Toronto. Overall, I was pretty happy with the experience and it met my expectations based on what I paid. Upon arrival, the room was fully made up with clean sheets, floors, etc. The house was remarkably quiet and I heard very little from other people staying at the travel house. It was very nice to have a private washroom and to be able to access a shared kitchen. My only criticism was that the vent in the bathroom was caked with dust and did very little to deal with steam from showers.

Neat and clean room. Safe and secure. Quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Our room had its own bathroom with shower (shampoo and body wash included) as well as a desk. Free wifi in room and complimentary tea/coffee in common area. The common area also had a kitchen with dishes, microwave, stove top and fridge. Easy instructions about where to go for parking. Good customer service. Great location, convenient if using local transit. Would like to stay again if available/opportunity arises.

I came across Dream Design Decor while planning a corporate holiday party, and it was the best decision I could have made. I'm so happy with my decor. We came in last minute to plan a 16th birthday party. Yvonne was great ! She helps us figure out a design that would suit my style. She custom made our backdrop, and balloon arch in no time and all the props were easy to rent and put together . Love those marquee lights. We had a delay in returning and she didn't mind at all. Today I went to this DriveTest centre for my G1 test, and honestly, my experience was completely changed because of Laurane. She guided me through the process, gave me tickets, and made everything smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism, patience, and kind behaviour truly stood out. She clearly puts customers first, and I would say she’s the best of the best employee here.
To be honest, I was nervous about coming back because last year I had the worst experience at this same centre. From the reception to the counter, the staff were rude and dismissive. They made a huge fuss when I tried to add my previous driving experience from back home, which led to me not even being able to take my test. When I asked the receptionist for help, he was extremely unprofessional and rude. That experience stayed with me and delayed me a whole year before I felt ready to come back.

But today was different Laurane completely changed my impression of this centre. She was supportive, professional, and treated me with respect. There was also a kind lady at the counter (I couldn’t catch her name, but she was Chinese) who was polite and helpful as well.
Thank you, Laurane, for saving my day and making this process so easy. Hats off to you, you truly are the BEST! 🙌

My husband and I had the most amazing experience at this test centre and we want to give the full credit to the staff’s kindness. They were really patient, accommodating to the jitters of a first time test giver and unusually friendly as opposed to, in other crowded government institutions. We went for our G1 with a pre-booked appointment slot and we had our name called close to our time. Instructions were provided clearly and in a friendly manner. We completed our process within an hour. Note- we went on Friday eve. Early mornings are less crowded on weekdays!

I had my G test done on September 20, 2025. Greg was my examiner, he was polite and gave instructions clearly and way ahead. He and also the staff were professional.

Their website is an absolute nightmare to use. Always crashes, throws "errors with the system", or rate limits you for accessing the site repeatedly. I also feel like every time i go to their main page i end up turning on my VPN because the site is under "maintenance" when sometimes it is, or isn't. If your looking to find road test cancelations or book a new test through their online booking system, all I can say is, good luck!

Apart from that nonsense, my g2 test examiner was very nice. The queue to check in, wait for an examiner to come to your car or to take your knowledge test was never too long for me, but the place is always packed with people and I have seen long lines here. Overall, the staff are very nice here from my experience.

Honestly the worst experience here. The person that was in charge of taking tests on Wednesday August 20th, with glasses and a piercing, was super disrespectful, ugly attitude, rolling her eyes every second. Please hire better workers. Just because you’re not in a good mood, customers need support and help. Being disrespectful IS DISGUSTING! Do not go here go to do your test, go to the Scarborough location instead. They will treat you with respect 100x more. Thanks.

Earth to Table: The Farm is an absolute dream wedding venue. The setting is stunning, the food was incredible, and the service was flawless, our guests haven’t stopped talking about it. Our coordinator Lindsay was amazing in the months leading up to the wedding, so responsive and always putting us at ease. And on the day, Kiera was so warm and attentive, making sure everything ran perfectly. We couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place to celebrate our day.

We recently had our wedding at Earth to Table and were completely blown away by the entire experience. It’s hard to know where to start when it comes to rating this location. The team puts a lot of care into every detail about the experience. The venues grounds are kept clean with the most beautiful landscaping, the hills allow you to overlook the gorgeous gardens that grow vegetables and a variety of other plants. At any time of the day you have the most perfect skyline, and background to your photos. Inside the venue is well kept, with accessible entrances and washrooms. The food and service are really at the centre of the best parts of Earth to Table. Our wedding guests were absolutely delighted by the hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, service inside and outside of the reception. The dinner tasting was a glimpse into the incredible dining experience we’d have on the day of our wedding. Run, don’t walk, to have your wedding here!!

We got married at the end of October here! I can't say enough good things about this venue. From the attention to details to communication to the food and atmosphere. They were beyond accommodating to all our families food allergies. Lindsay, Paige and Kira and Chloé were amazing from the ceremony to reception making sure everyone was happy. What we heard the most from our guests was how amazing the food and drinks were along with the atmosphere. We are so incredibly happy we went with this venue. Thank you again!

Food and service is lovely! The burger was so good. Fries are perfect. The steak was so tasty. Calamari amazing

Service was great. The tacos were expensive but tasted good and were more filling than I had thought. Atmosphere is very nice.

The food here is pretty good, the vibes were chill and servers were nice. The place is a but dark and kinda small with not much seating.

We got the fish and chips, oxtail risotto and burrata. Everything was super delicious, fish and chips were light crispy not soggy at all, risotto was super creamy and flavourful with the oxtail, burrata was also very tasty.

Will definitely come here again to check out their other items on the menu.

Great restaurant. The food is amazing and beautifully presented. Really enjoyed the sea bass ceviche, the broccoli and the calamari! Lovely covered and heated back patio. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, they treat you like family as soon as you walk on the door. A leslieville institution!

Visiting from Winnipeg and decided to check this place out, such a cute little place and close to our air bnb. Waitress Carrie was very friendly and gave great suggestions. Ordered the Steak Frites, linguini and fish and chips... Unreal quality of food, compliments to the chef, every bite was amazing! Cocktails were also awesome. Will definetly be back again :) thank you

Joan went far and beyond what was asked of him. Every single one of my guests and family members appreciated the care he took with us. We had a last minute addition, a friend is currently really ill, and Joan was able to make them comfortable, find seats for them and make sure they were fed. I would recommend eatertainment and especially Joan any day, anytime!

Had an incredible experience working with Eatertainment on our recent work events! Joan was our main point of contact and he made the whole planning process seamless. We needed various menus for multiple events, had strict budgets, and an ever changing guest count - he followed through on all of it!

The food itself was fantastic! We ordered buffets for two of the events and there was plenty of variety - truly something for everyone. The guests were so pleased!

The team of wait staff were incredibly lovely. All of them showed up each day with great attitudes and lifted the energy all around. They even made sure to set aside food for our team members who were working over lunch.

Alicia and the Eatertainment team catered an event I was organizing at the Hockey Hall of Fame and everything went perfectly. From the timing of everything, room set ups, the taste of the food and the professionalism of the staff....everything was perfect.

To be honest I NEVER write bad reviews because I do not think its worth my time especially being in the industry for 12 years but after my experience with this company I had to share because this was the only negative part of my wedding. We spent thousands of dollars for their catering company to cater to 200 guests in October. Everything was amazing from the beginning of this process. We had a great tasting with the chef at the food tasting, promising us this exact experience at our wedding. Our coordinator and person in charge of the wedding was AMAZING. She is the only reason we went with this company after months at looking at other catering companies. From here it goes down hill. First of all my own dish which was the vegetarian ravioli meal was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT(Im not even vegetarian but what was shown at the tasting was the reason i ordered this dish) not even similar but COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. I was in shock that they decide the day of my wedding to bring a completely different dish out. Secondly, our desserts as you can see in the photos are NOT the same presentation. The dessert was a MESS like how do you even send something like that out when I have photos of everything. Why am i doing a food tasting for the company to bring out 2 dishes that we are paying for to not even look or even be the same dish. Ridiculous. Thirdly, dealing with the management was poor. She did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to make things better. If you want a company to blindside you and just take thousands of dollars from you this is the company. Your company is lucky to have 2 great workers but clearly not upper management or ownership. Even worse is that they ended up asking us to pay more are you serious? We did because we wanted to end communications with them. The main chef and who was in charge of this project was AMAZING. I’m so annoyed even doing this but I would never recommend this company to anyone I know after how poorly they dealt with our wedding.

We got married at Eaton hall in July of 2025. We have nothing but amazing things to say about the day, as do our guests. This venue is a dream come true and we still cannot believe we were able to get married here. We will forever cherish this day!

We had the pleasure of working with Jeffrey as our event coordinator. Jeffrey was absolutely amazing. He was patient, answered all of our questions and always went about and beyond to make what we wanted happen.He is the best!!

Guests were just amazed  by everything and I have heard nothing but great things about the food, service and atmosphere.
Servers were absolutely amazing! The fact that they went above and beyond to bring guests drinks to their table- we have never had this at a wedding. The food was out timely and everything was delicious. The only regret by any of us was not being able to eat more of it!

Bartenders were kind and quick. They were all lovely and kind !! There was never a line up either.

The only negative experience about Eaton hall is having to book pure events for floral/ decor. I wish I would’ve paid to buy out the contract. I advise all brides to do the same. Having Eaton hall associated with pure events is doing a disservice to an otherwise perfect venue. Yes- absolutely book this venue in a heart beat, just don’t work with pure events.

I will forever cherish my bridal shower at Eaton Hall. The setting was breathtaking, the food delicious, and the service so warm and genuine. It truly felt like a slice of Italy right here at home and perfectly helped set the theme for the wedding we later hosted in Italy. My partner wanted a very specific cut of diamond so the idea of finding her perfect ring was a little stressful. I had gone to a few other jewellers before hand and I found the experience underwhelming it was very unpersonable almost like they wanted you out the door.

After those experiences I decided that it was important to find a jeweller that made me feel comfortable and confident about the entire process, and that's exactly what Michael did.

I don’t even know where to begin…. Michael is truly one of a kind. From the moment we met him, he was so patient, kind, and genuinely excited to walk us through the entire process. Michael helped me create the perfect engagement ring for my fiancée. I had no idea how these things go (I’ve never gotten a ring before), and Michael made this process as easy as it could be. He will always make sure you’re able to get something within your budget while retaining beyond exceptional quality. My fiancée loves the ring and we’re currently in the process of getting our wedding bands done with EC Diamonds! I highly recommend Michael and his team!

Went here for a Cigarettes after Sex’s North American tour stop in TO. The pavement was concrete so less beach-y vibe but the space is huge and we could easily stand/sit during the outdoor concert. Drinks and food were available at the venue but super costly. A Budweiser costed 18 bucks. Had a nice time because of the band’s music.

I was surprised at how great this outdoor venue is! Apart from the smaller VIP areas -- which are a couple of small raises patios off to the sides -- the entire viewing space is a sand floor. You will definitely go home with sand in your shoes, but it's softer than a concrete floor so your feet and joints will be thrilled by the end of the night! The concert "floor" is also quite spacious there's plenty of room for those to hug the stage, others who want to stand back a bit out of the action, and space at the back for people to sit on blankets or beach chairs. Being out on the water helps keep the place cool on humid summer days, and you also have an amazing view of the city and planes taking off from the nearby island.

The sound was great, the "washrooms" (a.k.a. portapotties and portable sinks) were clean and well-stocked, and there was a great variety of food trucks -- including a Beyond Meat truck for guaranteed plant-based options.

My biggest gripe is that getting through the "doors" took forever. We had VIP tickets and got in an hour early, but they only had one gate open so getting through security and bag-check was very, very slow. Also, you have to look in a bunch of different places to understand what you can and can't bring. The list on their website wasn't comprehensive, so we wound up having to check their Twitter responses as well to get the full picture of bag size, allowed items, etc. Still recommend attending this venue, just get there early and travel light. :)

I originally came here with a friend on September 18, 2023 for the Babymetal + Dethklok concert. What I loved about this venue was all the drink and snack options they have. They had a poutine stand and an ice cream truck here and getting to drink a slushy while waiting for the next band was great! There was a lot of room on the floor. So we didn't have to get worried about getting crushed in the pit. Enjoying the concert from a good distance was enjoyable. Not to mention, the atmosphere felt great and fresh since we were outside. So no need to worry about getting sweaty. Staff here were amazing too!

The reason I'm giving this venue 4 stars instead of a full 5 is for two reasons: 1) There was surprisingly no more sand anymore? That really caught me off guard. Last time I went here there was sand. What happened to it? And 2) I'm not a fan of cashless venues. I personally feel that after the 2022 Rogers Communications outage, being completely cashless is not good since credit and debit cards are not going to work 100% of the time. I even had a problem ordering food at one point because the card reader didn't read my card at first and we had to take about 3 full minutes to fix the issue with the card reader. This caused a major line up for one of the food stands. It would be so much better if this venue had both cash and cards as acceptable forms of payment especially since paying in cash is much faster and less problematic. Oh well.

Overall, besides a couple of minor issues, my friend and I had a great time here! I would love to come back if another band I liked preformed here!

Went there for a concert and got first row. Staff were organized and entry was quick (I bought VIP first entry so it was a breeze). The reason I gave it 2/5 is that the stage is high and I’m 5’5 and could see waist up from the performers because of the additional speakers they put up on the stage itself. To clarify— when I got to the barricade they weren’t there so I thought I had a perfect view of the stage but as we waited for everyone to get in and then the opening performers they added additional really tall speakers on top of the stage. Now I’m a bit short but I feel like I paid 400$ and waited in line to get a good view of the show and the expectation feel a bit short.

The sound system and everything else was great but that’s the one major complaint I have.

Echo Beach provided lots of amenities that most venues do not. The sound was great, I didn't feel like it was too loud or the opposite. There were food and drink vendors all along the walkway leading to the venue, as well as outdoor toilets off to the back. Merchandise was easily accessible and fair pricing. I enjoyed my show at RBC Echo Beach and will recommend it to my friends for a fun evening. Be prepared for lots of sunshine before the show begins! Get some water before you are situated for the show.
