I am very impressed with how quick I received a call from Terri today, after I submitted a car insurance quote on Saturday. She is very courteous and professional - very pleasant to talk to. She also made sure I was transferred to a Sales Broker seamlessly. Both me and my spouse are very happy with her excellent service and she is definitely an asset to any employer.

Filled out the application online and got a quote that's $100 cheaper with scoop. Read alot of bad reviews but was willing to bite the bullet to save money. Got in contact with a broker and the quote instantly went up $60 without any of the benefits of my current insurance policy that I've been with for over 10 years.

I feel like the site lures you in with an ultra low quote, then they call and email you relentlessly only to give you a less established insurance company and a higher quote than you expected.

Fast, very knowledgable about the Insurance Industry as a whole. Saved 25% on this year's policy which included in 2 cars and the house insurance. My 25 year old daughter saved the most. The other daughter in a policy saved 20% on her auto policy. If you want knowledge, a straight shooter, I would higher recommend Paul West, his staff and Bethel insurance.

Tom Putnman is a godsend in this business, he came through for me when many other insurance companies said no, the other companies wouldn't even speak to me over the phone. Tom listen to my problem and immediately said I can do this for you...my fear dissipated and he did EXACTLY what he said he would do...that kind of honesty and integrity is missing in other insurance companies. Worst experience and it was my one of the bad decisions to go there, believe him and get there services. I request to community pl beware of this brokerage. They are the worst one. They show you something, explain something and you guys sign something else. You realize when its very late. This is my worst experience and I do request community don't make worse for you. Once they get there share from insurance company they don't talk to you don't see you and keep getting messages on someone behalf.
Once again I recommend don't go to them.

I have been a loyal and dedicated customer of Irresistible Cakes (now iCakes) since 2002. Over the years, I have ordered numerous cakes for significant events, including my wedding, religious celebrations, New Year's Eve parties, and birthdays. Most recently, I ordered a cake for my 50th birthday, selecting a design from your website that read "Happy 50th Birthday Dom," assuming it would be similar to the cake displayed on the site, with the only change being the name.

Upon receiving and opening the cake, I was appalled by its appearance. I cannot comprehend how any professional bakery would consider this final product acceptable for delivery to a customer. I am utterly disappointed and frustrated that my cake was served without any icing on top, as I felt compelled to scrape off the top layer due to its unappealing presentation.

In light of this experience, I strongly believe that the individual responsible for creating and approving this cake should be held accountable and should not be involved in the production of any future cakes for your company. The quality of this cake is completely unacceptable.

We had an emergency and needed a cake that was made elsewhere to be fixed. Luckily they helped us fix it and made it look brand new again like nothing happened and even added a new layer cake in the bottom within 40 minutes. We were very impressed and so grateful to them. Thank you again! 🙏❤️

I was very disappointed with the service. I called to order an all white heart shaped cake and I asked if they could add white glitter in the icing and gold writing on the top. They said that they could and I also assured them that if they couldn’t do the glitter the same as the picture they could just leave it out. They sent an email confirming the details and I sent a picture to them for reference. When I went to get the cake there was gold glitter splashed on the top of the cake and when I asked them to make adjustments since I did not want that, they said “it’s buttercream cake not fondant so we cannot change and the cake decorator is gone”, I offered to come pick up the cake the next day and they said, “no he’s gone gone”. They were clearly just refusing to cooperate and talking to me like I’m an idiot and can’t spot terrible customer service. So I had to choose between taking a cake I did not like at all or leaving with no cake and lose 85 dollars. I have added pictures of the email confirmation, the reference picture, and the cake they gave me that looked like there was an ugly splotch in the center.

We hired issac photigraphy for our son's bar mitzvah, and the photos were absolutely beautiful. But what truly sets him apart is what happened four years later. Somehow, our digital copies had gotten lost over the years, and we were heartbroken thinking we’d never see those memories again. I reached out to him and, he responded kindly and found the photos in his archives and sent them to us right away.

That kind of dedication and care is rare. He didn’t have to go out of his way, but he did, and now we have those priceless memories back. Highly recommend—both for his talent and for being such a genuinely kind and reliable person.

We hired George for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the first consultation to the final gallery, everything was seamless. George was professional, creative, and truly went above and beyond to capture every special moment.

Extremely disappointing and discriminatory experience.

My friends and I had a truly upsetting experience at this nightclub. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with blatant disrespect. While we were patiently waiting outside, the bouncers repeatedly claimed we “weren’t in line”, even as they let others who arrived after us go in. Strangely enough, the groups admitted before and after us were predominantly white, while we are a group of women of colour. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but the pattern was hard to ignore.

Once inside, we were minding our own business. As is typical in clubs, men approached us — most of whom we weren’t interested in entertaining. At one point, I was sitting at a table talking to a man who gave off a creepy vibe, so I got up to leave and return to my friends. Before I even left the table, security came up to me and claimed I was “too drunk.” I was completely sober. My friends were just as confused, and we calmly explained the situation — yet we were completely ignored.

To make matters worse, the man at the table had the audacity to tell me, “If you come home with me, you can stay.” I told this to the security and bouncers, yet they continued to escort me out without a word. Meanwhile, all around us were people clearly intoxicated — stumbling, falling — and none of them were asked to leave. They were, however, white. The man at the table who made the disgusting comment was not escorted out.

As we were being forced out, the bouncers acted as if our small group of 5’4” women were being aggressive, when we were simply trying to understand what was happening. It felt performative and demeaning — like they were trying to create a scene.

Having worked in nightclubs before, I know the difference between a venue that values its guests and one that targets certain patrons unfairly. This place clearly falls into the latter. There are several other reviews here on Google of people who have experienced something similar. I’ll never return, and I urge others — especially women/people of colour — to think twice before supporting a place that treats guests this way.

Attached is a photo of the two bouncers who were particularly disrespectful. I hope no one else has to go through what we did.

The vibe at Isabelle Club was decent overall. The music and DJ were good and kept the energy up throughout the night. However, I was a bit disappointed by the cocktail selection—it was quite limited, which was unexpected for a place like this. If you’re going for the music and atmosphere, it’s worth checking out, but if you’re a cocktail lover, it might not fully hit the mark.

We paid for bottle service expecting a private and comfortable experience, but were disappointed with how things were handled. Shortly after being seated, we were asked to move into a small corner to make room for other guests. A staff member even suggested we share our table and bottle with other people, which was unexpected and honestly quite strange considering we had paid for our own space. This made the experience feel disorganized and not worth the premium price.

Hard to dance. It felt like they were just packing people in so there was barely any room to move around let alone dance. The music wasn’t too bad when we went. Maybe the booths would have been better but we came to dance and not lounge around.

Me and my girls went for a birthday on August 21 Thursday - we got there around 10:30pm. We had an amazing time! The two DJs were killing it all night and had us dancing, singing from the moment we came in and kept the energy going till we left. They even shouted out the birthday girl! However, the venue is a little too hot once it’s packed and gets very busy!

We had the pleasure of meeting Matteo at the Bridal Show, and right away we could tell he was a genuine person who truly cares about his clients. He was approachable, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, which immediately put us at ease during what can often feel like a stressful process. Matteo took the time to listen and understand what we wanted, and his professionalism and attention to detail stood out from the very beginning.

We chose iSarti specifically because of Matteo, and we are so thankful we did. The groom’s suit turned out absolutely perfect, and we could not be happier with it. He made the entire experience not only smooth but also enjoyable, and we left feeling confident and excited about our choice. I chose the Morning Stars Premium arrangement that was placed in front of the podium and Sapphire Skies Deluxe arrangement for the main refreshments table. The flowers were gorgeous! Perfect! They were fresh and some blooming while I’m transit.

This is what I thought i was getting. This is what I got. (See pictures) I ordered there so called "PREMIUM" bouquet for a family funeral and this is what they sent. I was so embarrassed to say the least when I seen the bouquet they had sent. When I ordered the best option offered and thats what I got it was very disappointing. It was small you can compare to the lamp and picture frame beside it. I thought I would be getting a large beautiful arrangement sent not this little vase. Also trying to figure out where the white roses are? Do not order online from this company you will be sadly disappointed. Not worth the money spent.

I first came across this store when I moved back to Canada in 2021 after being away 10 years. I’ve always been a supporter of small businesses and entrepreneurs and had to furnish our house outside the city. The items here are all very individual and special and over the years I would purchase special items online only and delivery was always quick. I finally went in for a visit before Christmas this past December and met the super duper mom daughter team. Such a beautiful store front and location. It was so nice to put a name to a face in meeting Sara and her mom. I continue to purchase regularly and was able to cross off so many from my Christmas list as their products are so varied. Love love this special little find!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful sentiments about Jacaranda Tree! The store is a true gem on Mount Pleasant, and has something for anybody no matter the occasion, time of year, or price point.

Most of all it is the people who work at the store that makes it the most special. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. In particular Sara, who is so kind and helpful. She always is willing to suggest new ideas and finds me the perfect gift.

As an actuary, I did a tremendous amount of research to figure out the optimal price that maximized all of the C's. Turns out this wasn't necessary as Greg's pricing was better than the online competitors I benchmarked against. No filtering through hundreds of similar looking diamonds, we had it narrowed down after just a few emails. Plus you could see the diamond in person. The ring design process was also straightforward. Would highly recommend checking this small business out if you're in the Toronto area.

I shopped around at different independent and big box jewelery stores. Greg at Jacob Mercari offered the hgihest quality at the lowest price within my budget, all while being fully cusotmizable. He was also fantastic to work with. Will always recommend!

Excellent cookies and nice service, reminds me of my childhood

I recently discovered Jadranka Cafe & Pasteries on Instagram. After seeing such great reviews and how high quality their desserts looked, I decided to order my sister's birthday cake and my baby shower cake from them. We also bought a few of their pastries at the time of ordering just to try. Their krempita is delicious and brought back memories of my childhood. I highly recommended trying it. For my sister's birthday cake, we opted for a walnut flavour cake. The walnuts were nice and fluffy and plentiful. The cake was delicious and we all really enjoyed it! I've attached a couple photos of the baby shower cake which was also a huge hit. As a side note, I did order the topper elsewhere, but the rest of the decorations looked lovely and the cake itself was absolutely delicious! We opted for a light cake with whipped cream and berries (blueberries, raspberries and strawberries). It was light and not too sweet and the ingredients were high quality. All our guests complimented it and were happy to take some home. Given the quality of the desserts and how you can tell they are made with care and love, the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this bakery!

Do NOT! Recommend this company.. the problems started on the night before our wedding!!!! I got a message from Joe Saying, “is our services still needed for tomorrow” after having them booked and a deposit for months before! So I told them yes and everything was all set… so I thought. The morning of the wedding I got another message saying that the car was unable to drive from Toronto to our location, and if we’d just like to cancel??? So unprofessional! So I told them no we definitely need our car we were relying on it for our plans of the day! So he sorted out another car… again so I thought! The car pulled up, nothing like what we agreed on he was sending me pictures of a silver car ( when we Originally booked white) and showed up was a run down rusty looking car! So I tried to not let it bother me seeing as it was our wedding day, we also booked the wedding package that come with champagne and flutes… didn’t receive any of it and our driver had no idea what we were even talking about, later to find out the man driving us, WASNT FROM THE SAME COMPANY!!! Joe had it arranged for some other business?? which we had no idea about???? And the best part of it all… he took all the money before we had the chance to even know what was going on! Stay away From JD Classic Cars!!!!

Have had a great experience with Jealous Bridesmaids! I went to three boutiques during my dress shopping experience and it was my favourite. Christine was very helpful and easy to work with and helped me find my dream dress! They have a lot of options and good price points - I was easily able to find something within my budget.

I not only said "yes to the dress" here at Jealous Bridesmaids, but I had a FABULOUS time doing so! It's a comfortable and lovely space they have that has such a great variety and selection of dresses at very reasonable prices! Christine helped me feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole appointment. My bridesmaids and mum also had a great time as we looked at dresses, and danced and did a little "test aisle walk". Super happy with my dress that is also being altered at Jealous Bridesmaids!

They also have some great selections of lovely reception dresses for the brides that want two outfits for their big day!

My first appointment, I tend to be a very indecisive person and there was one dress I really love but didn’t feel ready to say yes to the dress. They didn’t push me and said to take time to think about it. Glad I did because the extra time gave me a chance to make sure I was making the right decision. So for my next appointment, I fell in love with the dress all over again and was I knew it was the one. I just had my wedding August 30, 2024. So many guests complimenting me on my dress and asked where I got it and was proud to say it was from jealous bridesmaid. Thank you Natalie and Charmaine for helping me find my dream dress 💕 👰🏻‍

Note: For alternations, make sure you are able to step backwards without tripping with the dress bustle done up. I didn't do that and noticed it was bit difficult to do my choregraphed first dance due to stepping on the inside of the wedding train. So make sure your bustle is high up enough so that you are not tripping on the back of your dress while dancing.

The front door does not do justice to the vast inventory available downstairs at Jealous Bridesmaids! There is so much to see and browse through with several areas of wedding dresses, evening gowns and an accessory section as well. Appointments were seamless as they have a system in place to give automatic notifications to remind brides/guests of their upcoming appointment and protocols to follow.

Alterations were very effortless as well. A staff member will ask when your wedding is and work backwards to ensure your dress is completed in time. You'll be required to come in for two fittings and one final pickup day. The first fitting is to pin up areas and get an estimate for the alteration. The second fitting is to make sure lengths are good and revise if necessary. The third and last fitting is to ensure nothing else is wrong and that your dress is good to go! If you are an external client (not their dress), they will require you to pay in cash.

Emily and Charmaine were two of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They gave me the chance to share my dress options with my dad by allowing me to take the dresses home and try them on. I wanted to deeply and sincerely thank the both of them for helping me find my perfect dress. You both were absolutely amazing. I felt right at home with you two and was so comfortable. I also wanted to thank the seamstress who made sure everything fit perfectly and looked amazing.

Jeff and his team provide an amazing experience from start to finish. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectionists - you can truly feel they deeply care about your experience. Initially we went into the store to purchase a suit for an upcoming wedding and, after being blown away by the experience and end product, decided to come back for our upcoming wedding. My husband, father-in-law, and two bother-in-laws all purchased suits from Jeff for the wedding. They had a blast picking their fabrics and getting fitted, and everyone looked amazing on the day. This is the real deal. I've been on Jeff's Danger Train for almost half a decade. His custom-made shirts are brilliant and I just cannot say enough good things about what he, Emilee, and their team offer. Tailor-made shirts are great, but affordable custom-made shirts are just that much better. Jeff's service and attention to detail, before, during, and after the sale is top notch and more-so, he will treat you like you're his most important client. For me it used to be hit and miss to find what I wanted with shirts. There's none of that any more and scouring the racks to get the shirt I really want is a thing of the past! Better than having some 'go to' shirts, Jeff is my go to guy in this department.

I'm rocking almost 20 shirts from the Deadly, Dangerous, and Cuban Collections and am waiting for to receive another order. Every time I go out, someone asks about my shirts. One colleague told me that "Your shirts make me happy!" That makes me happy.

I met Jeff when he was in Regina for a business boot camp at the University of Regina in 2017. Since then I have bought many shirts (working towards a dozen) from Jeff and each experience has been wonderful. His customer service is second to none and he's very responsive to my queries despite me being halfway across the country.
