Brent made us a beautiful and delicious 3-tier cake for our wedding in May 2025! The white chocolate raspberry and peanut butter chocolate layers were great, and we can’t wait to eat the final salted caramel layer which we saved. Everything went smoothly from the cake tasting to delivery at the venue, he also took great care of our somewhat-delicate cake topper (which I made). We would definitely order from Mitchel’s again!

My daughter wanted a Mamma Mia! Themed birthday party for her 13th birthday and my husband found Mitchel's Cake and Dessert Company online. My daughter searched for cake design ideas she wanted and those pictures were shared for reference and we were so impressed. It looked exactly how she wanted; the cake was amazing! It looked fantastic and tasted great too! We will definitely order again in the future! Thank you :)

This beautiful 4-tier cake with a different flavour in each tier had people talking. (Chocolate/vanilla/carrot cake with cream cheese fondant) served 180 people.

I have ordered a birthday cake for a 3 years old that looked very nice and well decorated. Icing and filling tasted good but all rest of the cake was very dry.
I had very high expectations cause I paid $ 170 for it. I was expecting an exceptional and super delicious cake for that amount of money. I always thought that their cakes were overpriced but I was willing to pay that much because of the occasion, but honestly I was very disappointed.

We decided to go with Mitchel's for our fall wedding and couldn't be more pleased. Our guests and us enjoyed how delicious our chocolate cake was.

I remember discussing how we wanted to decorate the cake prior to the day and we weren't 100% certain what we wanted-except for our toppers haha.

We felt confident leaving the final design process up to the professionals with the few details we did finalize, and it ended up looking so amazing. Thank you Mitchels!

Great experience for a vendor. This was my first time going to an expo as a wedding videographer. Everyone was very nice from the setup to the overall weekend itself. This is a very intimate setup where you have time to meet with and really get to know couples and vendors. The staff at MBWS were also very helpful with me in the planning process as well. I recently hosted a business dinner at Modus for 8 of us and absolutely loved it! The ambience, the service (Alex was our waiter) and the food was excellent - perfection! Sam is a wonderful host which made the experience unforgettable. From the appetizer, to mains the food was meticulously prepared, fresh, flavourful and elegantly presented. I definitely recommend Modus for hosting events (they have private dining rooms which are beautiful) to a dinner out! Will DEFINITELY be back!

I've been to Modus numerous times for lunch/dinner and recently hosted a dinner for 10 in their private dining room. The food was exceptional. I had the grilled calamari, Atlantic salmon, and chocolate cake, and everything was delicious. Great service in a beautiful space. Highly recommend. Thanks Sam. Will be back!

Google as well as Modus website advertises restaurant open until 10pm on Friday. Made a reservation on Open Table which was confirmed for 8:15pm. Arrived at 8:15pm and all the doors were locked and bartender let me know “kitchen was closed”. Advised her/bartender that I had a reservation and was told “sorry”. Recommend management revise advertised hours and/or their online booking system so that they are not accepting resos they are unwilling to honour.

Working with Moissy was truly an amazing experience. Their communication was solid. They worked with us to design a ring according to our specifications, checked in with us for approval of 3D renders, and when I went to pick it up, it came in this beautiful box.

Their work ethic, customer service, and attention is all top notch. When I walked into the store, there was a vibe that I didn't experience when visiting other Jewelers; they actually make you feel cared for as a customer

The Moissy team did a fantastic job with the engagement ring that we ordered a few years ago. Since then, we've gotten 2 more rings to celebrate our wedding, and they've all been of excellent quality. Colleen and her team always offer exceptional customer service, and we will undoubtedly return in the near future.

Quite expensive for a moissanite, but quality of the ring was actually pretty good. 3 months for resizing is definitely not enough considering that planning engagement takes time and rings are ordered far in advance. What made me really frustrated is when I wanted to recycle a “paper” ring box, turned out it’s a black plastic box taped over with paper (black plastic is not recycled anywhere in the GTA). Why pretend like you care about sustainability?

The team at Moissy did an amazing job on my engagement ring and my husband’s wedding band. Since moissanite has become more popular recently, it’s been hard to find jewellers who know what they’re talking about and have experience working with the stone. Walking into the store was a totally different experience than other places where we’d browsed for engagement rings. I found a unique design that I fell in love with, and the team made it easy to customize it to get it to fit in our budget. The ring and the lifetime warranty was reasonably priced and we haven’t had any issues with the manufacturing almost two years later.

Molly did my hair and makeup for my wedding day, and I received so many compliments on both. She was very accommodating with all of my last minute changes (thank you!) and always confirmed the hair and makeup styles that I wanted before starting. Zoe did hair and makeup for my mom, aunt, and bridesmaid and she did a phenomenal job as well! Molly does not charge an early morning fee nor travel fee to the secondary location, which was a plus for us as well. If you’re looking for professional hair and makeup for Asian features, I can’t recommend Molly and her team enough!

I had Molly do my make-up and hair for my engagement + wedding and she was phenomenal! My make-up was flawless and stayed immaculate even though I cried a lot on my wedding day. My hair is thick with lots of volume. Even many hair salons don't know how to work with my hair, but Molly styled it perfectly. I received so many comments on my hair and make-up. Her teammate Zoe also did an excellent job with the bridesmaid's and moms' hair and make-up. You will be in excellent hands with Molly as your HMUA. Thank you so much Molly for making me look absolutely stunning on my wedding day!

On my son’s wedding day last week, beginning with the tea ceremony at noon, followed by the church ceremony in the afternoon, and ending with the evening banquet. Molly took care of the makeup and hairstyling for both me and my son, lasting beautifully throughout the entire day. Her professional touch was exactly what I had hoped for—natural, elegant, and perfectly suited for the occasion. I am so glad that I was able to have Molly as my Make up artist. She is quick to communicate and help bring out the Asian features that I have and gave me so much confidence when I was nervous. I booked Rahad for my Nikkah and Walima shoots on my sister’s recommendation and I’m so glad I did. I shared my vision and inspiration with him just a day before, and he brought it to life perfectly.

On the day, Rahad guided us through the poses so naturally that we never felt awkward, even though it was our first couple shoot. He also made sure every inspo shot I showed him was covered. Throughout the events and afterward, he was incredibly accommodating and understanding.
I received my photos and videos fairly quickly. There were a few photos where I wasn’t fully happy with the editing but Rahad listened to my feedback and revised them exactly how I wanted—something I truly appreciate. I’m so in love with how the photos turned out.

A special shoutout to Rahad’s videography team for matching my vision with the highlight videos. Loved the drone shots and slow, cinematic scenes. My one feedback for the editing team would be to somehow block out the background noise so we can only hear the emcee speak in the longer video. Otherwise I’m very satisfied with the result and so happy I went with Rahad for my wedding!

This is my favourite type of small BUISNESS. Owed and operated by artisans proud of their creations. Proud they should be. Wonderful bakery. My favourite item was the puff pastry filled with perfectly balanced apple and cinnamon. Clean and well lit.

The prices are reasonable and every pastry I tried was delicious.
I went a bit late, so some of the ones I wanted were already sold out. But I picked up almost everything that was left in the display fridge (except the whole cakes), and they were all great.
I especially liked that nothing was too sweet. The level of sweetness was just right.
Not really a complaint, but if I had to point out something, everything is takeout only, even if you want to dine in.
Also, maybe because it’s so popular, many items sell out quickly.
I really wanted to try the strawberry yogurt something and the chocolate something cake, but they were already gone.
I live a bit far, so I’m not sure when I can go again, but I definitely want to come back for more!

Absolutely the best bakery! Have been coming to Mon K for years and always blown away by how delicious everything is! The croissants (chocolate almond, cinnamon, bechamel and bacon) and danishes (blueberry) are phenomenal! Incredibly flaky, buttery pastry -- delicate and flavourful. We buy their Chestnut buche de Noel every Christmas and it's always a showstopper. Their quiches and ham and cheese baguette sandwiches are super for lunch. They always have a weekly special -- never hesitate to grab one! Highly recommend!!

My family recently got some savoury and sweet pastries from this little patisserie and everything was absolutely lovely!

For savoury, we got their Croissant Sandwiches including Egg Salad and Ham & Cheese. Both were flaky, delicious, and you could tell were freshly made!

For sweet we got a Dark Chocolate Tart and two Matcha Tiramisu cakes, which were all pieces of art. The Matcha Tiramisu was creamy, luscious, light and not overly sweet. They were my favourite of the whole bunch and were absolutely DIVINE!

We also got four of their Cream Puffs and one Coffee Chocolate Tart. The Cream Puffs were so fluffy and not overly sweet. The Coffee Chocolate Tart was also fantastic. Their other pastries and danishes are luscious!

The staff were helpful and prompt at packing our rather large to-go order! This is a lovely place for pastries, whether you’re craving sweet or savoury!

recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The rooms felt extremely outdated, with a strong musty smell that lingered throughout the stay. The bedsheets were visibly worn out—thin, grey from age, and definitely in need of replacement.

The carpet in the room was old and made the space feel even more unclean. The fridge and coffee maker were both dirty, which made me hesitant to use them. Overall, cleanliness was clearly not a priority.

Breakfast was another letdown. It was very basic, and surprisingly, they didn’t even serve eggs—which is usually a standard item at most hotels.

This place really needs a deep clean and some serious updates before it can offer a comfortable experience to guests. I wouldn’t stay here again unless improvements are made.

We had a 3 day event in the main conference room and on the last day the AC was not working efficiently as the temperature inside the room was consistently at 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Everyone was hot inside the conference room. The hotel was not able to fix the AC issue so provided us with a large portable fan. We asked for 2 fans since there are 2 separate doors to the room; however, they were only able to provide us with one.

I know the outside temperature was really hot that day. Maybe it's time for the hotel to upgrade their AC unit to effectively cool down during those really hot days.

Room is nice and clean. Only complaint is that the bathtub being very slippery and without an anti slippery pad. Breakfast is okay, but egg and bacon need an extra $8.

I will not stay at this hotel again house keeping was not great, I asked for my room to be done and fresh towels since we stayed two nights and nothing was done. Had to keep going to the front desk for things. Secondly the restaurant took FOREVER with food and when I received mine it was cold. The person at the bar knew we weren't impressed and only offered 2 cans of pop(coke). I will NOT be returning to this hotel $179.00 a night was not worth it in will be going else where if I have to stay out there again.

hey so don’t bother going here ! there were literally bed bugs in our room and they were not very helpful in dealing with that. the breakfast included that was advertised is pointless because if you want an actual breakfast you have to pay $8 which i feel like defeats the purpose of having breakfast included with your stay in the first place ?? the cleaning in general did not look like it was done with any care or effort. the rooms we stayed in still had wrappers and crumbs throughout it. i don’t recommend going here unless you’d like to throw away everything you packed for your stay and then not receive any refund or compensation of any kind for their incompetence and overall negligence of cleanliness.

Batchlor in Montréal absolutely knocked it out of the park for my mate’s bachelor weekend! They turned our ideas into an unforgettable experience that none of us (especially Kiki!) will ever forget. The team was incredibly attentive, understood exactly what we wanted, and suggested fantastic ideas that made the weekend truly special. Their 24/7 support during the event was a game-changer—always there when we needed them. Highly recommend checking out Batchlor for any epic celebration!

Adriano and his Montreal Nightlife team were the Icing on the Cake for our Girls Trip to Montreal! He was excellent in helping us plan what experience we wanted. We had the most spectacular night. A limo tour arriving at a gorgeous Supper Club,VIP seating overlooking the bar and restaurant. Excellent meals, service and pictures with the dancers. Adriano made excellent suggestions for nightclubs, he met us there and we were treated like Royalty with front of the line entry.
Adriano made our Girls Trip truly spectacular. He was always available for any request. I would definitely recommend Adriano and his team and their Top Shelf Service! I will be calling him again for my next trip to Montreal!

I took my buddies here for a bachelor party for the last week on July 2016. Even with high expectations, the experience was phenomenal. Everyone was very friendly, the food was solid, and Adriano provided professional service throughout the entirety of the vacation. He was promptly on time to let us into various venues. Staff was friendly and helpful but the store looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed in a long time as there was garbage and sewing needles scattered throughout all floors. This is a picture of the cleanest change room I found, it probably had 15 needles on the floor.

Valentina (Patricia) was an absolute wonder to work with. I visited to pick up a sport jacket that wasn't available in my size at the Ajax store. She was incredibly helpful with helping me find the right fit and even suggested other jackets that would've been suitable for the event I was attending. I would gladly recommend speaking with her if you need help with fits, color combos, and suit styles. 10/10 would recommend.

I was a little worried about the service I'd get based on recent reviews. Glad to say Jana greeted us and offered her assistance as soon as we arrived. She was extremely helpful and friendly even while juggling a few other customers. Great experience & would recommend thanks to Jana professionalism.

More 2 Love Bridal is amazing! As a mid-size bride, I felt very welcome and supported every step of the way. Lorraine was my stylist and she was so fun and supportive. She always made sure to listen to my needs and encouraged me to stay true to myself and what I want. M2L’s collection of dresses is vast with so many beautiful options, and I did manage to find my dream dress from Studio Levana! For the rest of the process, I mainly communicated with Boz and she was also so kind and lovely. Honestly, every person who works at M2L who I’ve spoken to was wonderful, and it felt like I had my own personal squad of cheerleaders! I highly recommend M2L to any mid and plus-sized brides and guests!

FABULOUS!!! I wish I could give this place a million stars ⭐️ Every single conversation, interaction, meeting, try on etc has been perfect. They make you feel absolutely flawless, and no one gives two f***s about the sizes and it creates the most phenomenal experience to find a dress, and make you feel like a red carpet goddess. I’m right between plus size and just being too curvy for other places. This place took me under their wing like, they become a support system or a bouncer whatever I wanted or needed they granted me and did it with such class. I have lost weight and UNFORTUNATELY I do not fit in this store anymore. I honestly never thought I would say that, but this store makes you feel like a queen that you do not give two shits about the sizes. And THAT is a gorgeous talent. The process of working with this shop from finding the dress to pick up was fantastic. The whole premise of your shop was what brought me there and once I had my first experience here, I knew I didn’t need to shop anywhere else. I (like many other plus size brides) had a lot of apprehension when it came it dress shopping, but to be able to fully try the dresses on, see how they fit on my body and feel good in several options was an amazing experience. I couldn’t have felt more beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you guys!!

Boz was incredible to work with! Found my dream dress here and felt like an absolute goddess. It's a smaller boutique but the dress selection is so well curated. Highly recommend this salon to any mid/plus sized brides - especially those like me who are strugged to find "the one" at straight size bridal salons.

More 2 Love made my bridal experience come true! What more can I say. My first time trying on dresses was at this store, and I didn’t find the dress at that appointment. I had appointments booked at other shops and the experience was night and day. More 2 Love set such a high standard and I had to go back and try again. No other shop made me feel beautiful, or like I mattered. Other bridal shops consultants made me feel like they got the short straw by having to cater my appointment. I never got that feeling at More 2 Love. Not only did I end up finding my dress here, I felt like the entire staff- not just my consultant- were all my personal cheerleaders. This store radiates love, compassion, joy, and all the feelings you want to be surrounded by when picking such an important outfit! Im forever grateful to this amazing team for turning an anxiety into such a beautiful experience.

The menu options were diverse and the presentation was impressive! He made a delicious paella, individual portions of causa, beef empañadas, and mushroom empanadas.

Guillermo and his team are simply the best. Guillermo and his team were in charge of my friend's catering for a private event. It was impeccable from beginning to end. Appetizers were so tasty, the food was spectacular and the service A plus. Guillermo also catered for my 60th birthday celebration twice. Everybody was very pleased.

I was part of a team organizing a company anniversary and we chose Moso Catering for our event, and we had an amazing experience with Moso, to say the least. Their head chef Guilleremo, truly went above and beyond—he jumped in last minute when another caterer fell through and handled everything with such care and professionalism. He worked within our budget, helped organize all the details (even ones we hadn’t thought of), and made sure we felt confident every step of the way. His communication was fast, clear, and reliable, and the food was absolutely delicious. The entire serving team was warm, attentive, and so professional. The guests -and my team alike- are so incredibly amazed by the service provided! You, and your team truly brought our event to life. Highly, highly recommend!

I have been using MOSO for my family’s prepared meals due to the pandemic and they are nothing short of great. Whether it’s fully cooked meals or cleaned, cut, pre-portioned meals ready for us to quickly put together this is an amazing service. We have tried a few others and this is by far the most organized.

I was at an event catered by MOSO and the food was incredible, and their staff is extremely professional and friendly.

I will definitely be hiring MOSO for my future catering needs.

We visited Mott32 last night with my partner, his brother, and his wife. We’d been to the Vancouver location a couple of years ago and loved it, so we were excited to try this one—especially since they offer a vegan menu.

The vibe was great, the space is beautiful (even the elevator carpet and wallpaper stood out!), and little touches like Aesop soaps in the bathroom and having our napkins placed on our laps made it feel special. They even brought us sparkling wine for our anniversary, which was thoughtful. Cocktails were also excellent.

That said, a couple of things missed the mark. Compared to Vancouver, the vegan options seemed less innovative—more veggie-centered rather than mock meats. Everything we ordered was tasty, but at nearly $500 for four people, we felt the food could have been more elevated and presented with more flair.

We also ran into a service issue: our table had multiple server changes, and despite being clear about being vegan, one server brought us a chili sauce containing fish oil. Another server caught it, but my husband had already taken a bite. At a restaurant in this price range, consistency in service is expected and would have prevented this.

Overall, we still enjoyed the evening—the atmosphere is lovely, the staff is gracious, and it feels like a special-occasion spot.

High-end restaurant. This is not a typical dim sum restaurant, so both the price and quality are expected to HIGH. So, the review will be more harsh than usual.

The Peking duck spring rolls is ok. The shredded duck is a bit dry. But the spring rolls are hot, fresh, and crunchy.

Black miso cod dumplings are good. The skin is thin and not overcook (some place will overcook the dumpling. Then the skin will break, and soup will all leak out). The meat is a mixture of cod, pork, and shrimp. The chef balances it well and is not overcooked.

Siu my is spectacular. There is an onsen quail egg inside, and the pork is still juicy. You xan definitely tastes strong truffles smell, too.

Siu loong bao has a tart of spicy taste. A very nice soup inside the bao, very hot soup.

Shrimp dumpling is just normal. Not bad..... just normal.

Wagu beef taro dumpling. It is a fluffy type of crunchy. Normal taro dumpling with a small piece of wagu beef inside.

Overall, it is very special. Perfect for a celebration. Yet it is more than $110 per person. It better be good.

Beautiful ambiance and a prime location. I sampled a couple dishes, and the standout was definitely the dumplings and the drinks—both were exceptional. The Peking Duck was another highlight (reminded me of authentic Beijing Style). The duck was smoky and carved out to the side. Given the price point, I believe better options in Toronto do exist.

The food was incredible from the Black Cod and vegetarian dishes.
Then we moved to the meat dishes the braised short rib was off the charts.

The duck was something to remember. The notable table side service and carving was done with pure precision.

The drinks were first class. The duck fat old fashioned is a must.

It’s a rip off after I paid $680 for the food and drinks, but got much lower quality out of expectations. The menu was originally well designed. However, the ingredients were not fresh, not with respectful selection. Such a waste of this kind of menu being prepared with low quality oil and is full of MSG! Real Asian food meant to be presenting with its authentic taste from the fresh ingredients themselves, not with greasy cheap deep fried oil. Not recommended. Won’t go back! There’s a hair in the king crab fried rice which is disgusting! Not mentioning, there’s no king crab meat in this $60 fried rice, and only four small pieces of lobsters in the mapo tofu lobster. All the cocktails were made with cheap alcohol and syrups! Had been to the Vancouver one, but this one is for sure a disappointment! The Asian female server was extremely unpleasant when she recommended a mashed meat ball dish to substitute a dish in the “happy hour dish.” Wished for a pleasant experience, but turn out to be a big “no never ever again! “

Our recent trip to Greece was our first and only trip that we took as an entire family - 4 generations of us. The age range of our group of 12 people was 9 months old - 76 years old. Nick managed to somehow perfectly curate a trip that was suitable for every single person on this trip. Not only did he book us the perfect villa, activities, and flights but he also was a super-communicator throughout the entire duration of the trip from take off to landing back at home.

10 out of 10***** We entrusted our dream trip to the Greek Islands with Nick at Mr Travel and loved the whole experience. Nick set up everything including flights, hotels, pick ups at airports and harbour ports and rental cars. We began in Vienna, then flew to Mykonos, then ferry to Santorini and finally Crete. This was May 10-25, 2025 and the weather was excellent. Not too hot and not cold at all. Swimming in the Mediterranean was wonderful.
Nick made sure that everything was nicely upgraded to ensure fantastic views and great hotel staff.
The entire trip was much less expensive than I had anticipated. Nick quoted the whole trip and it was very reasonable. And of course "worry free" everywhere we travelled.

We worked with Nick on planning a family vacation to Greece and we were very happy with what Nick delivered. Every detail was taken care of from Athens, Paros, Santorini and both sides of Crete. The accommodations were amazing, the transfers and shuttle service very convenient, planned activities fun and overall we came away with great memories. What a fantastic experience. The trip was amazing and all the work done for us in advance by Nick! We worried about nothing...we were whisked from airports to ferry ports and hotels with no waiting or fretting. The locations we stayed were sheer perfection, all the recommendations were great and the tours were amazing! The most enjoyable vacation I have ever had!

Best tailor in town! This was my first time getting a custom suit done and Jonathan made the entire process very easy. Once I had the suit in hand I was blown away on how light and easy it was to move around! I got a double breasted off white coat with black pleated trousers. My fave suit I own by far. I will be looking to do more business with Jonathan in the future!

Right from the start, he had such a sharp eye for detail  from walking me through fabric choices to making sure the measurements were spot on.
