We used May Flower’s à la carte shop as an affordable option for our wedding flowers, and I cannot recommend it enough. From the beginning, Thanh and team were so lovely, reaching out to get inspiration photos and detailed colour schemes to work from. Our order arrived on time and in tact on our wedding day with fresh, beautiful arrangements that perfectly fit the aesthetic we were going for. We received endless compliments for the natural and unique arrangements, and I still can’t believe we were able to bring so much vibrancy to our wedding without breaking the bank. Thank you to May Flowers for accommodating our request for custom bud vase arrangements for our event. We wanted a spring theme with more pastels and the blooms looked so lovely on our tables. Really appreciated their fast replies and willingness to clarify any questions we had. We loved the flowers!

Every year on the first day of spring, my mom sends me irises in memory of my grandmother who was a gardener. She had cancer and waited until the first day of spring to pass away. It’s often difficult finding a florist in Toronto to custom order the irises and deliver without hassle. Now we will use May Flowers every year! They were accommodating and sent texts/calls before and upon arrival to ensure we received them. They are also a local business so it feels nice to support them instead of going with a wholesaler. Ordered a lovely local flowers bouquet online to be delivered to a friend in the city. Website was easy to use, delivery was seamless and the flowers were stunning. Would order from them again without hesitation.

The flowers were beautiful arranged. They have really great customer service. It’s easy to get a hold of them they added a part to my note that I initially didn’t add when I placed the order.

Some parts of the bouquet did look like it was dying, but this may be from the transit or the way it’s transported but overall my friend was happy with her birthday flowers! I would order from here again!

We recently hired Mayettes for our small gathering, and they exceeded every expectation. From the initial inquiry (3days before) to the day of the event, their communication was prompt, clear, and professional. Tita was accommodating with our requests, helped us refine the menu to fit our guests’ needs, and made the planning process surprisingly stress-free.

Aside from the professional and friendly service, the real standout was the food—it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and served at the right temperature. We had guests that commented on how much they enjoyed the food and asked where we ordered from. We ordered the Beef Steak (with lots of sweet onions), Chicken skewers, Pancit with lots of veggies and Chicken Lumpiang Shanghai with just the right amount of sauce!

It’s rare to find a caterer who delivers both exceptional service and incredible food, but Mayettes did exactly that.

We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer who truly goes above and beyond. We’re already looking forward to working with them again in the future.

We ordered from Mayette’s earlier this year for my boyfriend’s birthday and again for the holidays. The food is so delicious and the portions are large. Mayette is a pleasure to speak to and is always so kind when we are ordering. We’ve pretty much ordered the entire menu. If you need catering, do not hesitate to contact Mayette’s. We will definitely be ordering again for any future special occasions!

Mayette’s food is the best, each dish is very presentable in the eyes and very delicious! If you’re in the search for good Filipino dishes in Toronto, Mayette’s Catering Service is a great place to order (especially for celebrations and events)!!!

My boyfriend and I got takeout for dinner and tried chicken adobo for the first time - it was great! We also got fried chicken, garlic fried rice and wonton soup. We're looking forward to leftovers since the portions are large, and we'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

We called the owner a day before and were told they don’t have any dine in. And we usually need to book a take out at least a day before so they have time to prepare. But they still prepare the food for us: chicken adobo and fried pork hocks . 38 $ in total and definitely enough for 2 ppl. Really kind and friendly service, the adobo is amazing, and pork hocks skin is so flavorful. These is a park near where you can enjoy the food as part of the picnic.

We had the McEwan Food Truck at our wedding and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was and how efficient the staff were.

We found everyone at McEwan to be delightful to work with and they expressed genuine concern to ensure our guest experience was what we were looking for.

McEwan catered our wedding and they were absolutely incredible. The food was outstanding - we had multiple different food stations and everything was beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. Mario, Anne, and the entire planning team were unbelievable to work with - so thoughtful, responsive, and on top of every detail. The bartenders, servers, and chefs went above and beyond, making the whole night feel seamless. We felt completely taken care of and didn't have to worry about a thing - can’t recommend McEwan enough!

I used McEwan Catering for our Easter Dinner this year. We had 8 people attending. It was easy to order and the people on the phone were very helpful with my order.
This was my first time using McEwan Catering and I have to say that they were fabulous. The food was outstanding. Instructions for reheating were included. We ordered a whole turkey dinner with all the trimmings. All my guests commented how delicious everything was and I couldn't have cooked it any better.

Absolutely perfect Easter turkey dinner! We opted for the pre-sliced breast meat for 8-10 people. Everyone remarked about how flavourful and juicy it was, even the next day on re-heat for leftovers! The salad, roasted veg sides and the spun potatoes were delicious as well! We opted for gluten free stuffing and gravy. No one else does a gluten free gravy this good! This was our first order with McEwan and now we are hooked!

We ordered the bone in ham dinner for Easter. I had it delivered. Nothing short of amazing. The ham was moist and delicious and each side had its own flair. The scalloped potatoes!!!!!! Also the jus and applesauce were very tasty and really brought out new flavours. The food was packed very well and straightforward instructions. Would most definitely use McEwan Catering again. This was my first time

Mega City Linen was absolutely amazing for our wedding decor! They made the whole process completely hassle-free, set everything up perfectly and took care of the tear down as well. We used MegaCity for decor and set up for our wedding this past August. The service and final product was fantastic (the pictures speak for themselves)! They literally made our magical wedding dreams come true. Agata was the BEST and went out of her way to find certain decor pieces we wanted. Mega City did the decor for our wedding this May and made our dreams come true. We had an initial consultation where we picked all the linens, center pieces, external decor, etc. Dorothy and Chris gave us a warm welcome every time we stopped by their office and assured us that we were in good hands. Agata was wonderful to work with, offered us advice when we couldn’t decide, and created a beautiful and intimate setting for our guests. They showed up exactly as the venue opened for vendors and were set up quickly and without any problems. Our venue had a strict timeline for take-down, they showed up immediately at 1:00am and had all the decor removed in under an hour. Fantastic to work with, would recommend them to our friends who get married in the future.

My experience has been awesome with Mega City there was a little hiccup with the original lady we met with for my daughter’s wedding but Savi was amazing took over without hesitation and made it all better . Savi was honestly so great took work with and quick to respond. The linens were absolutely beautiful ,they coordinated well with the wedding planners and delivered on time . We ordered our wedding invitations a few months before our wedding and to our surprise, Vijee made sure our cards arrived earlier than we expected. She was open, honest and very detail oriented. We were able to customize the cards and add our own personal touches. We were able to communicate with her anytime we needed as she was very responsive and patient. We wanted our cards to be perfect and that is exactly how they turned out. We just received our cards and did not need any edits or changes to be done because Vijee was able to create exactly what we needed and exceeded our expectations. The entire process was easy all because of her.

This is one of the most popular place for Tamil wedding invitations. If you're printing for 100+ cards, they have ample designs to choose from. You can change the colors, fonts, designs. You can even Come with a customized deign and they will do it for you.

However if you choose to do 50 cards (Minimum). They have less selection. Those cards are kind of basic. And not many options. No customization either. And there be an additional $60 charge for printing less than 100

The prices for each cards ranges but they are comparable to others in the industry.

The lady that helped me was so nice and patient. I went close to closing time and she still helped me and stayed open. They have really good customer service

Great ambience and good collections of Invitation cards and return gifts boxes and other gifts too.

The store displays all their cards so you are able to see all styles in person! The workers are knowledgeable about prices and options for each style. They are open to customizations and changes. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality and customization. Vijee was super super helpful! I ordered my wedding cards from here and they were able to make all the changes I wanted, included any clip art images I wanted, and my religious symbol. They were also patient with me to get a quote typed in Punjabi as well and was able to add it. Overall it was an easy process and Vijee understood any changes I wanted via email and made them in a timely manner when sharing the drafts. Also the printing time was super quick! I’m so happy with the quality of the cards and the amazing and kind service :) I would highly highly recommend them!

Good venue, clean, open feeling, and reasonably well organized. Not great in terms of accessibility, but not terrible either. Seating is just a little bit small to be comfortable for the average person or larger, perfectly fine if you're on the thinner side. The concession could stand a bit more variety in snack options, but the beverage selection is pretty comprehensive, if a little expensive. The show itself was fantastic, Sarah Millican was absolutely hilarious as always.

Great venue, went for K-Expo concert and the seats were great in the orchestra. Acoustics were loud and clear, close to Union Station as well so it's pretty convenient. Would definitely come again 😀😀

Attended my wife's graduation ceremony from Seneca Polytechnic College at Meridian Hall and was genuinely impressed. The hall has a modern, stylish design and a top-notch sound system that made the entire event feel professional and memorable. It’s a versatile space that works perfectly for graduations, concerts, theatrical shows, or any formal event. Great experience overall!

Great location, at walking distance from to Union Station. The acoustic of the theatre is amazing. It was our first time but it won’t be the last.

Metro Toronto Convention Centre is an outstanding event space — clean, spacious, and extremely well-organized. Everything from the layout to the staff was top-notch.

I’ve attended several events here, including the Oddities & Curiosities Expo and FAN EXPO Canada — both were absolutely incredible experiences! The venue handles large crowds with ease, and there’s always great signage, helpful staff, and plenty of room to explore.

Can’t wait to come back for more events in the future — this is definitely Toronto’s go-to convention spot!

This is an excellent event space. It is very spacious, well lit, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Oddities and Curiosities Expo was held here. It is located in downtown Toronto, so finding parking is very challenging. I don't think there is on site parking.

Went here for Comicon for the very first time ever!
Didn't really know what to expect but it was actually pretty awesome! It was a huge room filled with vendors and different people from all walks of life all coming together to enjoy Anime, comics, art, animation, movies-characters. The costumes people used-amazing. It was a great time and we will be returning to the next Comicon!

Nice Convention Centre! Been here every year to fan expo. Plenty of Room in the north and southern building. Good looking and clean building from outside and inside.

Absolutely incredible! We hired Michael for our wedding at the St Regis Hotel in October, and he was the highlight of the night. From the first consultation, Michael was very professional, attentive, and truly understood the vibe we wanted for our big day. He curated the perfect playlist that kept guests of on the dance floor all night long.

The transitions between songs were seamless, and the energy was great. Michael read the crowd perfectly and made adjustments to ensure everyone was having the best time. Beyond the music, the setup area was flawless, with great lighting and sound quality that added to the overall ambiance! Even the music played during seated dinner was amazing.

Mike was the best DJ we could have ever asked for. We were so blessed to have the absolute best vendors and he was one of them. He was so thorough and detailed throughout the whole process from our first call to even touching base after the wedding. He got us thinking on questions and points of planning that we never would have without him! He met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding and left no stone unturned with planning and making sure his mc-ing and the music was exactly what we wanted. And it was even better! We are still getting compliments months later about Mike and the music and how our wedding was the best people have been to and that’s all thanks to our vendors. Michael was awesome! He was our DJ for our wedding at the King Edward hotel in Toronto this past July and he was extremely professional (his booth set up was so nice too - very classy!!!!) and he knew how to make the crowd happy with his music choices while also taking into account the songs my husband and I wanted to hear. We had multiple meetings with him beforehand and he was great to chat with! He certainly made sure the overall mood of the evening was exactly what we had hoped for! We would recommend him to anyone a heart beat! :)

We had the best experience with this team for our wedding! Michael did my hair and makeup, and we also had Ekaterina, Jay, and Orin doing makeup for my bridesmaids. Michael unfortunately couldn’t be there because I had to change dates but he was still able to accommodate me for my new date and paired me up with Karla as my bridal stylist.

Karla was lovely to work with - easygoing, funny, meticulous and adaptable. I experienced this with my trial run and most importantly, on the day of! After my trial, I was honest and upfront about what I liked and what I wanted to be changed for hair and makeup.

Karla and Michael were super accommodating and Michael was very flexible with my requests and answered all of my questions promptly.

He also prepared us so well with instructions on how to care for skin and hair leading up to the wedding - so thorough and professional!

His team on the day of was awesome - Anastasiya, Gaenor (special shoutout as she was just so sweet!), Elena and Karla.

Everyone was so lovely and all of the ladies that got their hair and/or makeup done had such positive experiences, which I am so grateful for - we all felt beautiful 💕🌟

Michael is the best of the best!

Michael took his time to get to know me and he genuinely understood my wedding vision. He made me feel very seen, heard, and supported throughout the whole process. I felt so calm and excited going into the big day knowing he was on my beauty team.

When the big day arrived, Michael and his team provided hair and makeup for the entire bridal party. Everyone looks and felt so gorgeous!! But the moment that stands out the most to me was when he handed me the mirror to take my "first look" at myself - I had never looked so beautiful in my whole life. I took my breath away - how many times in your life can you say that??

My look stayed put all night - Michael had prepared a touch up kit for me - but I didn't even use it. At 2am after dancing and celebrating all night long, I looked perfection!

The biggest location I've been to. All 3 levels were organized and clean. I found the clearance section to be quite better than any other I've been to. The staff is polite and helpful. I found everything I was looking for. Had a wonderful experience overall!

I was looking for a store to find specific kind of paper for calligraphy so I searched online and found some stores that Michael was one of them. I visited recently but unfortunately I couldn’t find the exact paper I was looking for, but it was my first time there and I saw that they have a lot of different things like canvas and framing materials and I guess I will visit this store again in the future

Michaels in downtown Toronto has a great selection of craft supplies, and I found exactly what I needed. I picked up some cardstock paper, and the quality is really good. The store is well-organized, and the staff was helpful when I needed assistance.

Michael the Art and Craft store have so many amazing ideas for any kind of project. Many ideas for V- day, Easter is coming up 🐣 and so much more to see and choose. 3 floors to wonder around

So much variety, loved exploring this great art store!

I ordered a bunch of Traveler’s Company items from Midoco, and I accidentally added one item in the wrong size to my order. The employee doing the shipment that day seemed to have noticed the inconsistency and actually called me asking if it was intentional or if it was a mistake. It was a mistake of course, so I’m very happy they called me before shipping my order!

There was also a small price difference between the item I ordered and the item I wanted, but their site/program made it easy for me to pay the difference in a timely manner.

Thankful for their attention to detail and quick shipping! Will order again if they happen to have the Traveler’s Company charms in stock at some point in the future…

This place is fantastic! I made an online order knowing the item came in assorted colours. I contacted them right after asking if there was any way I could get one of each for the kids to save my sanity. They were so helpful and pleasant..long story short, I just received one of each colour and I couldn't be happier! I literally fist pumped with joy lol.

I would definitely recommend this store to anyone! Pleasant, professional and prompt. Completely exceeded my expectations! What more could you ask for?! ❤️

Good selection but heads up - they don’t offer a discount to fashion design students… strictly art students? Bit of a weird / off-putting policy. Will stick to deserres going forward.

I love this store! I get most of my art supplies from them now. They are very close to me, and the staff are super nice and helpful. The shelves are well-stocked, and if I don't have time to browse, I can always just order online and pick it up. That takes a few days. I visited them a few times during lockdown (and after), and they followed safety protocols well. Prices are sometimes lower than other art stores too, and they carry puzzles, games, and cute little knickknacks.

I had my wedding here this past August and it was truly the most quaint and perfect venue.
We worked closely with Myra and Alyssa with meetings to figure out all the details for the day of, and they were so helpful throughout the whole process and communicative.

The venue itself is stunning, from the ceremony spot, to the lovely cocktail patio, and stunning tented reception spot.
The property is a large size, allowing guests to roam about and enjoy all the greenery and gardens. It was the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos!
We are so happy that we did our wedding at Miller Lash house, it turned out beautiful!

The minute I toured Miller Lash, I knew right away it would be the perfect place for the size of wedding ceremony I had in mind. Super convenient and accessible location, beautiful natural backdrops in the middle of the city, lovely house to get dressed in with old school charm, very reasonably priced, and at my alma mater - UofT. Could only hope the weather would be perfect and the place available for the day we had in mind.
We had a fantastic experience with Alyssa and Myra from planning through to execution on the day of. They were far more prepared and organized than me (the bride lol), but super patient and understanding as well. All of our guests, especially those from out of town or visiting Toronto for the first time, could not stop talking about the day and the location! Thank you so much Miller Lash team, for allowing us to have our dream wedding ceremony and being so accommodating. Would not have changed a thing!!

The venue has a real rustic look and interesting bricks and beautiful scenery. We came here for a wedding and while the venue was beautiful and the staff was tentative and nice, there's a few things that fell short. The ceremony was outdoors in a big open space but the steep hill wasn't the friendliest to walk down especially for the elderlies with walking canes, and even guests who were wearing high heels. It's quite slanty. During the cocktail hour, the venue ran out of food within the hour, half the guests didn't even get any appetizers and a lot of people were hungry. Some parents even went out to bring food back for their children. There was no shortage of alcohol for the guests during cocktail but they ran out of non-alcoholic drinks really fast and had no juices for the children. The reception was outside in a big white tent, and that was fun. Note they don't have a kitchen at the venue so all the dinner food had to be catered and it is reheated for the guests. They had 2 female stalls for in the main washroom and 3 stalls outside at the reception area, which 1 was broken. For the males, there's only 1 stall and 1 urinal in the main building, but sure about the outdoors. It kind of felt there wasn't washrooms for the size of guests. Long wait times to go to the washroom. Otherwise, beautiful location for pictures, and the staff was delightful.

I would highly recommend Miller Lash House. This venue is absolutely breathtaking! The lush evergreens, as the backdrop of our outdoor ceremony, was gorgeous. There is plenty of outdoor space to capture the most beautiful photos. Inside the tent was like a blank canvas that allowed us to bring our wedding vision to life. I had a wonderful experience working with Jennifer. She made the planning process easy and enjoyable! It was a perfect day :)

The Miller Lash Estate is nestled in the picturesque valley of Highland Creek. The area is surrounded by nature and the venue is home to unique functions and popular with wedding receptions. Well kept with gardens and an arts and craft style estate this is a unique place.

This is more of a 3.5 star review! The restaurant has been around for a long time and we have visited over the years. The restaurant has been renovated more recently, which is nice. The lower level is now brighter and more modern. The large patio space and indoor-outdoor style seating remains popular in warmer weather.

The food was good and portions were big, and there is a broad selection of menu items and drinks. However, the prices are on the higher side for what it is (and reflects the clientele in that area). Service was decent.

Loved the new cocktails, thank you Harsh! The Maple Midnight Martini was a huge hit, and of course, the classic French Martini, my all-time favourite - never disappoints. The food was absolutely delicious, and our waitress Maria was such a pleasure to have looking after us. See you soon!

I visited Miller Tavern for an event in the private dining room at the second floor arranged for dine-in lecture. The room was suitable and complete with excellent audiovisuals. What stood out, however, was the food. Conference dining often suffers in quality, but this was a welcome exception.

Service was swift and efficient, with a preset menu taken promptly. The tea was premium quality. My meal began with a Caesar salad that, unfortunately, fell short—the lettuce lacked freshness, likely due to early preparation. But it was well seasoned and not salty as common with this dish. The steak frites redeemed the experience. Cooked perfectly to medium, the steak was flavorful and well-seasoned, paired with crisp yet tender fries. A more refined sauce or a complementary vegetable would have elevated the dish further. The salmon dish looked delish, however I can not comment on the taste.
Dessert was the highlight—a warm cake draped in caramelized sauce, indulgent and unforgettable. Though a brief encounter, this meal was promising enough to warrant a return visit for a full dining experience.

Amazing service. The owner was super friendly, flexible, and responsive via WhatsApp. Purchased a beautiful bouquet of flowers for a friend's birthday and they were very fresh and fragrant. Great pricing and he gave us a walk through of the different prepared bouquets they had. Highly recommend!

I ordered flowers for my mother last Saturday, expecting a beautiful arrangement, but I was deeply disappointed. The delivery time was unclear, leaving me waiting all day without updates. When I called, I learned the flowers were not yet delivered (late afternoon) and some weren’t bloomed. The shop offered to add yellow roses and other flowers, which I agreed to if the arrangement looked nice. However, the delivered flowers were tightly packed, didn’t match the style I chose, and started wilting quickly. The sunflowers were facing downwards. This was meant to be special for my mom, but the experience was upsetting. No response to my follow-up privately 🥲

Bought flowers at Million Rose Flowers—service was outstanding. They patiently wrapped my bouquet and helped me through an unfair platform issue. Truly the best service! The babypink rose was amazing!!!

Yesterday I had a very disappointing experience with this flower shop. Despite arriving in the appropriate pickup time, the order was not ready, and I ended up waiting for 50 minutes. The staff on site couldn't release the order without the manager's approval, who was not present, causing unnecessary delays. This level of disorganization and lack of customer care is unacceptable. I won't be ordering from here again🫤.

I don’t recommend this place at all. I got married last week and my friend ordered this bouquet for my wedding. I pick it up on Friday 21st. When I called the number at the door, the owner opened the door, she told me what number was it, I grab it and I left. As soon as I got in my car I noticed the roses weren’t fresh (look at the pictures) and I didn’t like the quality at all!
I told my friend about it and she asked me to send her photos so she can contact the owner. As soon as she contacted the owner, she refused to give us another bouquet and ask my friend to return the bouquet to get a refund then. I came back then to return it, and when I got there, I called the same number many times and she never picked up the phone! My friend called her too and nothing! I have not choice but to leave the bouquet hanging at the door. Imagine the frustration and pain for not having a bouquet for my wedding next day! This is beyond disgusting and unacceptable!
My friend got a refund but it wasn’t about the money! It was about the poor quality and the bad service customer experience I had. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!

Ministerial Associates Inc at Toronto City Hall is a no-frills, perfectly practical option for small and micro weddings (under 20 people). The staff was organized and helpful, and the central location can’t be beat. As a photographer, I appreciated the simplicity and ease of shooting here. The elevators are confusing. It felt rushed.lol. it would have been nice to have some more flowers arranged and music?

We had a good experience from booking, receiving reminders, to the actual ceremony. The staff members we met were all very professional and helpful. The officiant was good as well. The only downside of having a wedding here is that there’s no washroom on the floor and you’d have to go down to the lobby.

It’s a perfect experience to get married at Toronto City Hall. The wedding chamber is clean, modern, and bright. The officiant is extremely professional and humorous. We come from Ottawa to get married at Saturday such that my friends can come to the wedding - there’s no civil ceremony in Ottawa at Saturday. Overall I would say it’s the best day in my life.

Had our wedding here on april 26. Everyone was so nice and it was done Very professionally! We felt so welcomed and we were so impressed with every aspect of the ceremony... definitely recommend it's this place to anyone looking to have a small wedding!

I ordered the boxes for a fun surprise for my daughter on her journey from fiancé to Mrs. She was so excited and loves all of the specialty items that were chosen specially for a bride to be. My first Miss to Mrs box was great! The shipping was timely. The customer service team was very responsive when I needed to update my address. My favorite items in this box are the countdown calendar, t-shirt and eye masks. I’m excited for the goodies that are to come in my future boxes. :)

I just received my first box and it is so cute and useful! I definitely think this subscription is worth giving a try for a fun way to celebrate your engagement. I have seen some photos of other boxes and I’m not sure that I would use everything but the first box is 100% worth it and a great start to wedding planning or great to give to a newly engaged bride. From the outside, Mississauga City Hall has this cute, old-school vibe—but once you step inside, it’s surprisingly modern and impressive. It’s honestly so nice that I feel more people should be using the space! I even thought, “I wouldn’t mind working in a place like this.”

During COVID, the café was closed and didn’t reopen for a long time, but I recently visited and saw that it’s finally open again. The café area is also super spacious and feels kind of luxurious—even though there aren’t that many people around. It seems like only employees, people who know about it, or those who happen to be visiting the front desk use it, which feels like a waste. It’d be great if they brought in other kinds of stores or services too.

I imagine we used to be able to go to different departments within City Hall, but ever since COVID, the general public can only access the main service desk on the first floor. I’d actually love to see the rest of the building and how people work there.

Now, I know the building is already done, so there’s no changing that—but to be honest, I’d rather they spent a little less on making things this fancy and instead lowered our property taxes. They go up so much every year, it’s kind of shocking. I really wish the city would clearly explain where all that money is going.

That said… if property taxes weren’t so high, I guess I’d be kind of proud to say our city hall looks this nice!

As a long-time Mississauga resident, I'm deeply concerned about the city's recent fiscal decisions. In 2023, property taxes increased by 6.1%, followed by a 7.2% hike in 2024, and now 9.2% in 2025. This doesn't include the increasing level of bonds the city is issuing that have to be paid back with interest to fund all the new spending.

These substantial increases have tangible impacts. At the same time I was compelled to cancel my $500/year community centre fitness membership due to overcrowding and limited access, as the facilities have become increasingly dominated by the newly introduced FREE 65+ Fit memberships for seniors. These giveaways continue with the new free public transit programs, and much more growing "FREE" services and socialist programs. While supporting our senior community is important, offering extensive free services funded by escalating property taxes in an attempt to buy votes puts undue strain on working residents and private businesses.

This approach raises concerns about sustainability and fairness. As the senior population is projected to grow from 27% to 45% by 2031, the financial burden on the remaining taxpayers will only intensify. While the city counsellors and mayor know this and are capitalizing on this to buy votes, it's imperative that the city reevaluates its fiscal strategies in a morally sustainable way to ensure equitable and responsible governance for all residents.

Mississauga is still looking very modern and clean. It is home to the Art Gallery of Mississauga. It offers ice skating in the winter time. The clock is not accessible to the public anymore.

If you are considering a simple and inexpensive wedding, you could book with the city hall. The venue has a capacity of around 50 people. Since I had an international marriage, I didn't have any family or relatives here. So, we decided to register at the city hall. The whole process was quite smooth and fast. First, you have to purchase the marriage license. Once you have the marriage license, you can call the hotline and book the chapel. They can offer their officiant (at an extra cost) or you can bring your own. Then, you will have 30 minutes to use the venue. We were satisfied because we just wanted to register first and then have more spare time to organize another local and overseas dinner later. Highly recommended!

It is a nice city hall for me to stay there!!! 😊😊 It has a nice city model in the middle of the city hall!!!

Beautiful place to host networking and social events. The staff were professional and genuinely invested in delivering quality service to guests. The scenery is beautiful, great places to take a selfie or a group photo.

The Place is great, venue food, service staff was on point. I attended a wedding there a week ago, and was pleased by our server Adam, his service was great, beyond expectation, he took care of everything, made sure we get the right food delivered and were having a great time, his service was perfect along with his personality. Overall, wish to see him again and have him as our server other than that everything was great. GOOD JOB MCC!

I did my wedding at this venue. Jazmin helped me from start to finish. She made the process simple and easy. A process that could have been extremely stressful and costly, was all planned by me, 2 of my sisters, Jazmin and Tarveen at no extra charge. We had 300 guests, everyone was happy. We ordered the middle eastern buffet menu and the food was phenomenal. No complaints. Thank you Jazmin and everyone at Mississauga Convention Centre.
