Vicky and her team were wonderful. Our wedding was at Harding Estate in Mississauga, and we chose the full planning package though we'd already secured our vendors, and I was so grateful that we did.

Vicky met virtually with us as needed, was quick to respond, and helped us bring our vision to life. The day of the wedding I did not need to worry and was not bothered by a single issue - she and her team took the reins and made sure every detail was perfectly executed, including surprising us with extra free floral rentals because she felt the space could look even better (thank you!).

I'd recommend Perfect Planners to any engaged couples. Bonus - her pricing was great!

We need to start of by saying that picking Vicky and her team to be our wedding planner for our wedding on July 26, 2025 was the best decision we made out of everything we did for our wedding. The second we had a call with Vicky we felt instantly comfortable and she gave us a plan on what we still needed to do and helped us organize our day perfectly. Before booking Vicky and team, I read all of the reviews on her Google page - every person singing her praises is not exaggerating. I am blown away by the attention to detail, seamless organization, and kindness of her and her team from my wedding this past weekend. Vicky goes above and beyond to make sure she understands what you need from your wedding, and dealt with plenty of last minute changes on my end (including my fiance who broke his arm at his bachelor party a couple weeks earlier causing us to have to rework some pieces). I felt like I floated through my wedding day and did not have to stress about the details because Vicky had it covered. There were things that weren't going to plan, and Vicky took care of it without me even knowing what was going on behind the scenes. I felt stress-free and locked into enjoying my day because Vicky and team had my wedding on lock. I had the best day ever and I credit so much of this to Vicky handling everything and anything - from queuing the entire wedding ceremony, to ensuring all the table setups were immaculate, to making sure everyone knew where they had to be at all times. I think she even memorized our 100 person seating chart ? Or at least could tell you exactly what table people were sitting at, which was wild. Vicky, thank you x a million for everything you did to make our wedding so special. I am overseas and I have had the great pleasure of Periwinkle Flowers helping me with sending flowers to a relative on a few occasions over the years. The flowers I have ordered and the service have been phenomenal. The pre and post delivery contact and updates are exceptional. I am so happy with Jess's kind, conscientious service and her beautiful, artistic work with her flower arrangements. Thank you again so much! I HIGHLY recommend...I would give more stars if I could!

I got these flowers as a congratulations gift for a friend finishing their comprehensive exam for their phD. I don’t regularly order flowers and was a bit nervous but I had an amazing experience with Periwinkle Flowers.

Jess went above and beyond in accommodating an ideal time of delivery. The flower quality and abundance were stunning even for the smaller size version. The quality of the wrapping was picturesque (sadly my friend was too eager to unwrap it and did not take a photo!). The card given with my personal message was a real card as well.

Jess emailed me after the delivery confirming it was sent as well which was a nice peace of mind.

I am very happy with the whole experience of ordering flowers from Periwinkle. I ordered flowers from California for my cousin's birthday in Toronto. My cousin was delighted with the floral arrangement, which was delivered the same day. She also mentioned how thoughtful the delivery was, personally handed to her at her door. I also received an email and photo to show the arrangement which was another thoughtful touch. My cousin hadn't known about Periwinkle before, and said she definitely plans to order from them in the future - thank you!

Decided to try a new florist and am absolutely impressed and delighted with Periwinkle! The arrangement was gorgeous, delivered without any issues and the recipient was thrilled!

Jess did a truly wonderful job with our wildflower-inspired Spring wedding florals. From the get-go, she provided advice, made us feel confident in our vision, listened to our needs and concerns, and crafted beautiful bud vases and an entrance bouquet full of colourful, fresh, and beautifully arranged flowers. She was on the ball and independently connected with our venue to ensure ease of delivery and set up, and her calm energy day-of was appreciated. We'd HIGHLY recommend Jess and Periwinkle Flowers for a wedding!

We had an amazing experience with Chef Nicholas for a date night at home. He showed up early, was super friendly, and made us feel really comfortable right away. The food was delicious — every course was so good, and we enjoyed every bite. After the meal, he left the kitchen spotless, which was such a treat. We had a great night and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a fun and stress-free night in! Thanks again!

It was a great experience to work with Chef Nicholas. I had hired him for a 50th birthday event for a friend. He was easy to talk to and suggested various options for the party. We finalized on a cocktail party with a mix of pass around h'ors d'oeuvres and small plates from his appetizer and entrée listing.  He also provided some wine suggestions to pair with the food and that was that.

The day of the event, he arrived early and began setting up and prepping in the kitchen. By the time the guests arrived an hour later he was ready with the first item. It was then a perfect cadence of incoming beautifully plated and served food.

We had chose about 8 items from his extensive menus. Our most favorite ones were the Tuna Teriyaki on Wonton Crisps and Wasabi Mayonnaise, Roasted Garlic & Brie Tartlets, Crispy Asparagus Fries, Coconut Shrimp with Pear Chutney, and the Almond Creme Brulee!

All the guests absolutely enjoyed the experience and Chef Nicholas was not shy to engage with us - even joined in the party game and other festivities. Also, the cake that I had purchased elsewhere he offered to cut and serve which was a great help as it was pretty big and full of detailed decorations that needed to be carefully taken off.

Chef Nicholas was wonderful! He arrived early, communicated well, was friendly and respectful. His food was incredible and presented beautifully. He made our special night truly magical!

Chef Nicolas was soooo accommodating. We had 11 people visiting Toronto for the weekend, our plans changed a bunch of times and he was always willing to adapt. He was a fun a pleasant person to have at our house!

I wanted to do something different this year for my family for Christmas! Stumbling across Chef Nicholas I was sold when I spoke to him on the phone. I hired him to cater dinner for my Mum & Grandad, and boy did he make it a special night for us! Delicious food and wonderful conversation - Chef does not dissapoint! I can hardly wait until next year so we can hire him again.

Mr. Sutudifar was our amazing officiant for our Persian wedding. He made the ceremony so meaningful and memorable. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and professional officiant.

We had our marriage ceremony at Mr. Sotoudehfar’s office, and it was a truly memorable experience. The room was beautifully designed, providing a lovely and comfortable space for holding a ceremony, which made the occasion feel even more special.
Mr. Sotoudehfar was calm, professional, and incredibly kind throughout the entire process. His punctuality, responsiveness, and genuine care made everything smooth and stress-free.

I needed a POA to be prepared. Mr.Sotoudehfar, prepared the required documents for me. He provided me with the best and highest quality services in the shortest time. He was always available to answer my phone calls and emails. I highly recommend him and his office.

Yesterday we had our Iranian marriage ceremony with Mr. Sotodudehfar. Everything was perfect, and the room decoration for the ceremony was very good.

Delicious baked goods. Everything is fresh and flavourful, especially their coconut macaroons!

This bakery has some good items (bagels), however after having tried their samosas, bagels, spanakopita and pastries, I find that they savory food lacks flavour and was stale/dry. The sweeter items did not leave me craving to come back. 3 stars because service is quick and prices are reasonable. Not excited about going back though..

Nice bakery with freshly baked breads, pastries, cakes etc. There is usually a queue to follow if you're buying something.
Many of the items are not price marked.

Service was okay, I wanted to look around a bit and check prices but they asked me to get into line without even seeing what I wanted to ask. I didn't want to hold up a line trying to choose which is why I was looking around.

There are many regulars at the store. They even sell additional products like cards, small gift items, paper napkins etc. Overall products are good and it's worth a visit for sure.

I ordered two customized birthday cakes that were phenomenal. They were moist, tasty and the design of the cakes were very beautiful. We received a lot of compliments by patrons and the staff in the restaurant when we opened the cake box. I have never tasted such delicious cakes in my life. I will continue to order all of my cakes and desserts from this bakery and I highly recommend them. Thank you again Phipps Wholesale Desserts for helping to make our event so memorable.

The best cakes you can try are tucked away in this little hidden store on Leslie. super delicious, not too sweet, perfect texture and taste combination. the service is also great! I have been ordering all our Birthday Cakes from Phipps for few year now and they have been very consistent with the quality of their service and taste of their cakes.

I'm liking these portions, but I like the taste even more. Basically six delicious brownies in one, it has that cakey texture that I prefer over the fudgier versions. It delivers the punch of cocoa that I expect, with a complex sweetness from the caramel and a nutty crunch thanks to the walnuts littered throughout.

Hands down the best wholesale bakery I know! Their dessert selections are vast and super delicious. My favourites include their butter tarts, muffins and cookies. Nothing tops this place for me, I highly recommend trying it out at least once.

I ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s baptism and couldn’t be happier with the cake and service! All my family and friends were asking me about where I got the cake because it was so delicious! Thank you so much Petrina and staff for all your hard work. I will definitely order again ☺️

Experienced this venue for the first time last night to see The Darkness and I was quite impressed! It was my first time ever going to a small music venue like this and it was one of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had. I was also very impressed with the location. Many places nearby to grab a bite before the show and super convenient parking right across the street. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for more music acts that come through The Phoenix.

Went to see strange advance, who put on a great show, including background, projections and lasers, with the box, who are talented and seasoned performers, although I’m not a big fan, but my friend who got the tickets is. Images in Vogue opened and they were not very good in any respect in terms of stage presence, and the sound for them was terrible, as if they didn’t do a sound check that sound system at the venue is loud but the only way it was bearable was with earplugs And it wasn’t very clear, but the concert was like $55 for three bands and so it was a good deal. The three bands were from the mid 80s and we were into them in high school and so the crowd was like 50 to 70 years old, but that would’ve been expected and that’s in our age range. Overall it was a good experience.

I won tickets from Virgin Radio to the Pink Pony Club event (which was AMAZING)! This was my first time being there and so happy for the memorable experience. Great vibe, super inclusive space 💕 The Djs and Boa from Drag Race Canada were 🔥

First time here.

Came to see "My Son The Hurricane". What a hugely energetic band! It's like watching an athletic team play musical instruments! If you ever get a chance, and you like brass instruments, go see these incredibly talented musicians!

What a great venue! Lots of room on the main floor, also an upstairs area (closed when we were there). Several bars around the perimeter of the floor, friendly and helpful bartenders serving beer and other liquor. Prices were not bad, (about $12 for a large import beer) especially compared to what we had to pay a few weeks ago at the SkyDome (Sorry, I can't call it the Rogers Center, I'm old school this way, lol.) for both nights of the Metallica concert (that was super awesome also!).

At The Pheonix we were right up at the stage, the crowd was into each of the three bands that played, "Altered By Mom" (ABM) opened, followed by "High Teens" both were good, then the main act: "My Son The Hurricane". A lot of my pics & vids are of ABM, no particular reason. The tickets were super affordable, just under $30 each, including fees. Concert was presented by 94.9 The Rock.

Easy to get to The Pheonix by public transport, took GO train to Union Station then subway to College, then a 10 min walk to The Pheonix, including a quick stop to get a bottle of water at the old Maple Leaf Gardens which is now a full bore Loblaws. Going home at 12:30am we took an Uber ride share which cost $11 + $3 gratuity for total of $14 to get from the front door of The Phoenix to the main entrance of Union station to catch the last GO train home (surprised only a few Leafs fans were on it, guess they were partied out after the victory, lol!). Uber was worth it.

If you drive, there is a sweet city owned parking lot right across the street, and get this, parking on a Friday night after 7pm, for the whole night, is $8.00!!! (See pics). Lots of parking spots, but sadly, saw only 1 Rock Star parking spot (Handicap / Accessible parking spot).

The down side, 1 star was lost in my rating, was due to two things. First, maybe we were too close to the stage, but, sometimes the lyrics & other times instruments, sometimes a bit of both, was distorted. Next time we'll try a bit further back, see if that improves things. The second issue was security. Although polite & friendly, I was surprised to see some people being pated down, meanwhile, there were purse & bag searches. Let's just say weed / gummies are not allowed inside. Ok, that's fair, but my issue is I had to dump what I had. I was not allowed to turn around & leave the line up to do what I needed / wanted to do with MY LEGAL POSSESSION! Just a warning to people going to the venue, probably a good idea to read the rules before going. To be fair, what I dumped into their garbage can was a small amount. But, I could only do so after the security guard finally relaxed their really firm grip on MY LEGAL POSSESSION, and, I wasn't upset at the time, or now really, I was SO EXCITED to get into The Pheonix for the first time & see the AWESOME My Son The Hurricane!!

After the band did their last set & the lights came on we went across the street into the municipal parking lot & up to the food truck (see pics). We had some really good fries, a good hot dog, and an ok Jamaican Beef Pattie, with drinks. The whole meal for 2 with tip was $23.00, which was ok. Nice guy running the food truck, really polite & helpful, fast service.

The Pheonix: a GREAT time!

Cool venue for intimate shows, but sound was not great. Paid extra to sit on the balcony couches, which were comfortable.

10/10! Dennis is super professional - came exactly when he said he would, photobooth was set up so well, both kids and adults were lining up, printer worked fast, people kept coming back - and the price is great! He customized the photo strip for us. He is very very pleasant to work with, I will be taking him again for the next big party I will be hosting for sure. Thank you, Dennis! We have great cute silly beautiful memories thank to you!

The booking process had to be one of the most easiest bookings I’ve ever had. Even though they didn’t get to provide us with the booth due to the party being cancelled they were very understanding of it all!

We hired Photokich for our wedding that went by in October, 2019. We had heard about them through word of mouth and they were on our radar well before our wedding planning began.

My wife and I met with Photokitch before we had even booked our wedding date a year prior to the event. Saj was very accommodating of our request and understood the challenges that came with a one-day wedding/reception. We hired them in our first meeting(even before we booked our hall) and didn't even bother going to the meeting with our second shortlist. This was plainly because of Saj's professionalism and attitude in making us comfortable during our visit. Needless to say, he also showed us his work at his studio and we were very impressed.

For those reading, Photokitch were probably one of our top two vendors in our wedding. They were exceptional from the start to work with and helped with with wedding planning tips here and there. Saj and his team also traveled with us to California for our engagement shoot (see attached pictures), and his creativity and dedication became very obvious during that trip. Saj and his team like to make sure that they get the best possible pictures using whatever is around them to make the couple look great.

During the wedding day, they were efficient and did a great job to get all of our group photos done properly. Further, they easily gelled with our wedding planner and the videographer we hired to make it an easier experience for us.

As my wife and I sit and reflect on our wedding day, we are in mutual agreement that the decision to hire Photokitch was the right one. For any couples looking to get amazing memories in the form of pictures, I highly recommend Photokitch. They are worth every penny!!

Absolutely loved working with the PhotoKitch team! Hired them for our wedding. They took amazing photos and really captured everything we wanted. Saj and Nav were so easy to work with. My husband and I hired PhotoKitch to capture special moments from our Wedding & Reception in July 2018. WOW!! We hired PhotoKitch for our wedding and had the absolute best experience! Not only did this team deliver an amazing end product, but they offered us great advice and most importantly helped organize our big, crazy family during the events! This spot was perfect for our dinner with a toddler in the mix. Appreciated that they had a kids menu, and the kid portion was actually quite large. The food in general was actually pretty tasty too - the veal parmesan was delicious and a good potion size, the egg yolk ravioli was incredible, the Caesar salad was very tasty (loved the massive croutons and the pork belly on it was very good). The atmosphere is kind of giving the needs to be refreshed feel but it's fine. Server was super lovely and friendly. Overall a great experience.

I went to Piano Piano with a group and we shared our dishes family style. The food overall was very good and price was reasonable. The pasta were cooked al dente and their famous Neapolitan style pizza did not disappoint. The dessert was also good but not outstanding is my opinion. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The noise in the restaurant was loud and seating was tight.

Great Italian (not American-Italian) place with a slightly upscale vibe. Simple foods that let the ingredients speak for themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed the espresso and amaro after my meal.

We went there for Saturday lunch. The lunch special was a great price. You can choose an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert. We had a lunch special and one pizza. The food was good, the atmosphere was great, and the server was super awesome!
You don’t need to make a reservation for Saturday lunch. There were lots of empty tables during afternoon.

Piano Piano is truly a vibe. The setting is warm, stylish, and perfect for a night out. While the pizza wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, the pasta, dessert, and everything else were absolutely perfect.

Simply the best florist in the city! They did an incredible job designing my wedding florals, and are my go-to for all-occasion bouquet delivery!

My go-to florist. I always let them choose the specific 'design' of the bouquet and they smash it out of the park every dang time. Absolute stunners. And they always deliver on time! If it's not Pictus, then I don't want it!

I LOVE Pictus Goods Bouquets. Always stunning and creative. Usually when you order flowers online they don't look like the photos and often times even the photos are meh. At Pictus, the bouquets often outdo the photos in an astonishingly beautiful way. Staff are helpful and friendly to boot! Highly recommend.

When I was looking for a wedding florist my criteria were colourful, mixed sizes, and mixed textures, and did Pictus ever deliver! The arrangements Jazmin made were absolutely stunning, they exceeded my expectations, and the first thing all our guests commented on when they arrived at our wedding was how beautiful the flowers were. Jazmin was very flexible too, and accommodated a change in flowers for our ceremony space in the last week before the wedding.

Absolutely blown away by Pictus Goods. I ordered a bouquet for my girlfriend who’s been going through a really tough time, and not only did they nail the timing of the delivery, but the arrangement itself completely exceeded expectations. It was beautiful, unique, and full of heart which was exactly what I hoped for + more. You can tell there's genuine care behind their work. Highly recommend for any occasion!

Terrible Company! Would not recommend!
The owner did not provide the service we were expecting and did nothing to rectify the situation. The staff that was sent for the event were rude and disrespectful. The supervisor was super high strung and actually yelled at me. At one point I was grabbing a drink and she came charging at me yelling that we needed to start raffle right now and I was like ok one second and shes said no now! I totally understand how things need to happen on-time as I was both a wedding planner and venue coordinator but I would never speak to my clients like that.
The staff were so rude and verbally attacked myself, my sister and fiance because they were not happy with the tip we provided. They told us it was a slap in the face to them and that we should tip 4 times the amount. I was under the impression that a tip is a courtesy and not a requirement seeing as we paid a good amount to have this service at our event. I told them that I felt the tip was fair and the one girl said karma will get you dont you worry. I have worked in the service industry for over 7 years and have never heard of such terrible service that was not ever rectified. Beyond disappointed and highly recommend you do not book with Stags Inc!

I wanted to thank Karen & her Team for the wonderful job they had done ! Right from Karen sitting down for the meeting telling what are the good games to have at the stag and Fabio helping with my stag ticket selection. Also to the day of the Stag team arriving on time setting up prior to my guest arriving and having a very successful evening. Even Karen ( the owner ) stopping by the stag to ensure everything was going smooth as it was.

If your looking for a Stag company no need to shop around you have found the one stop place with a friendly & professional team with lots of knowledge in there industry.

Disappointed in the services I received at my stag. The major concerns: of the two girls I purchased, only one came. I attempted to find a replacement or second girl since that is what I requested and needed, but was not successful. I felt that my best man and I overworked throughout the night. Second, the so called "manager" that is sent, did not utter a single word the entire night, and attempted to raffle my tickets for $20 and $40 though I spent $2000 on my prizes. The single girl was never able to speak on the mic once as she was so busy (she did a great job), nor was there enough assistance to have guests play poker. What disappointed me the most is that the owner was present for an hour, but had to leave to other stags. She made an immense difference in that hour, since two girls are obviously more effective, but she couldn't stay; under my circumstances, I would've appreciated her staying. The only reason I am writing this review is that last week I was at a 4 Aces stag and the owner stayed from 7-12, along with a poker dealer and two girls. I wish I had that service. Last, I had one interaction with Fabio and his customer service was offensive and condescending. I am assisting in the planning of a friend's stag and will not use Stags Inc. based on my experience.

Okay party overall. Nothing great about the service or arrangement. But the bar tenders were rude near the end of the party because, according to them, they were staying overtime. I just asked for one more shot after my friend’s order because he miscounted. One of the guys yelled at me “You should make up your mind about your drink. Now grab it and get off my bar.” Unacceptable attitude as a service provider.

We have heard back from many of our family and friends who commented on how well the evening went, and how professional your staff was. Very polite, friendly and professional.

Karen and her staff were extremely helpful with any questions we had and willing to help with everything and anything to make sure that the night went off without a hitch.

I would and will highly recommend you to anyone looking!

Steph and the team at Pink Pineapple worked our wedding in May 2017. They were nothing but professional. The hardest part was waiting for the media package after seeing the teasers.
On the day of, the crew arrived before the slotted time, we're very organised, had a plan before they arrived and executed flawlessly. They were flexible with any arrangements in the home, ie moving furniture to get the best lighting. They were mindful of our schedule and spot on with their timing.
At the church and venue they were all around and caught so many raw moments we love.
The quality of the media is beyond reproach. Both artistically and how it was staged.
Not only are they great at what they do, but they were also very helpful in other matters on the day.
Our guests kept saying how impressed they were with how involved but invisible they were.

Stephanie came recommended by our wedding venue, Willow Springs Winery, and it became very obvious why. From the beginning, she was professional, transparent and offered invaluable advice for us during the planning process to ensure our timeline was seamless.

She captured our engagement photos beautifully. Despite my husband and I having moved the day before and were exhausted (and a little irritable- sorry girl!), Stephanie was able to turn our day around with a fun shoot. Her prompts made shooting with her easy and fun as her aim was to capture moments, not rigid poses. Stephanie dove into bushes and shrubs in order to get the most perfect shots!

On our wedding day, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and second shooter. They managed to find beautiful spots at my seemingly run-down Airbnb to photograph us getting ready, kept us on track with our timeline and most importantly reminded us to be present during the day. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing as soon as they arrived.

Stephanie treated our guests like her own family, made everyone feel comfortable while shooting family portraits more efficiently than I’ve ever seen! We even had time to mingle with guests during cocktail hour which we initially didn’t schedule in our timeline! When she wasn’t taking photos, she was helping at the venue, ensuring everything was running smoothly.

We were devastated to hear that shortly after our wedding she dealt with various health issues which caused a delay in getting photos back. As soon as she was well enough, she sent us the most beautiful photos from our wedding and reached out to us personally to explain the delay. Her passion for her work and her clients goes beyond measure.

We would highly recommend Stephanie once she’s back out shooting. Future brides, you will be in the most excellent hands.

I don't like hostels only because I hate the idea of sharing a bunk. This is a similar idea but this fixes all the issues I had before. It was clean, comfortable and I never felt unsafe. It's a 15 minute walk from union and there's the subway everywhere. My friend forgot his merch shirt and they offered to send it to him, absolute gems. I was impressed with the breakfast, there was bread, toaster, cereal, dishes, cereal and milk. There's a fridge you could use if you labeled your stuff. My one and only critique (and it's small) is that the dude in the front that checked me in, didn't show me everything so I had no idea they had towels, or a laundry place, and I didn't see the men's showers and eventually found them the next day, I didn't know where to put my dishes or know where the stuff was, thankfully someone showed me, but that's my one and only issue with this place. I'll be staying here again. Very good area, kind people. Really good option for solo travellers particularly. I will say this place isn't accessable friendly. You cannot get into the building without stairs and most of everything is inaccessible.

Wow!! I had such an incredible experience staying at this hostel! Incredible kind devoted staff, you can tell they care about the business! I met amazing people in the common area which was super clean and welcoming. The pods are also so cozy! Thank you so much for the service Pod-Inn! If I'm ever back in Toronto I'll know where to stay!

Good (and safe) location and in general a clean space. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided is alright (Toast, Cereal, Coffee). Only thing is, the beds can be quite loud (metal bed frame) and the luggage is not really well secured- you store it in a room that everyone in the hostel can easily access. You have a little cabin in your pod but that only fits in most important stuff. Didn’t get anything stolen but it’s still a somewhat uncomfortable feeling.

This place was incredibly comfortable and relaxing to stay in. It was clean, well lit and quiet.
They have all the important essentials that made me feel at home, I really appreciated the laundry machine and study room, there was even free coffee in the mornings. The owner was also super nice and accommodating.
The location was so central and close to a lot of restaurants and attractions, so I was able to walk and not have to transit.
If I come back to Toronto, this place is top of my list!

I only needed a place to stay one night and this was the perfect option. Very quiet, clean and safe. The host did a great job touring the place and showing where all the amenities are. Would recommend to someone travelling solo.

We spent 7 days in the "Decked out Digs" apartment. Location was great, just a couple short blocks from the heart of College Street and Little Italy... nestled in amongst a spectacular neighborhood of old brick residences and mansions. Most tourist attractions were within walking distance, and local transit (street car and subway) were close by (we walked everywhere). The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable. It takes up part of an old brick mansion and has its own private entrance, as well as a private outdoor patio and beautiful garden! The main floor houses the living room and kitchen, and the 2 bedrooms are downstairs in the basement. There is AC on both floors, but even though it was very hot outside, we found the basement bedrooms remained cool enough not to require the AC. The host was fantastic, and came by on the first day to introduce himself. He even mailed us back some keys my wife had left behind! The place exceeded my expectations, and for the same price (or cheaper) than a hotel room, you really can't go wrong.

This rental is in a great part of Toronto and has multiple units in it, all short term rentals. We came to Toronto for a family wedding and stayed three nights in the two bedroom, 'Loft Living' unit. Communication with the owner/manager was great leading up to our stay. We were able to use two parking spots which was a bonus and we greatly appreciated this. Location was perfect. Space of rooms etc. was great. Beds and pillows were comfortable. There were adequate towels provided. It was relatively clean but could use a deep clean.

There were multiple issues that, in isolation, were not a big deal, but cumulatively were very frustrating. Kitchen appliances and supplies need updating, ie. kettle didn't work, not enough dishes were supplied, blow dryer didn't work, fancy coffee machine had no instructions and none of us could figure out how to use it, despite googling instructions etc, dishwasher rack broken. The futon in the living room is completely wrecked. We couldn't even sit on it without it feeling like it was going to collapse. Therefore, there was inadequate seating in the living area. There were more than these issues but I don't need to go into detail about them all in this review. Overall, someone needs to go into the unit to check all of these things that don't work and replace them. I'm sure all the units in this place are similar. Again, we survived and these issues were minor, however, there were so many of them!

I contacted the owner the day after we checked out to inform him of all of these issues and requested a refund of the cleaning fee of $175 for the inconvenience. After a week, he did not respond, despite having had good communication prior to arrival.

I use short term rentals all the time and this is only the second time in 15+ years that I have been unsatisfied to the point of contacting the owner and requesting a partial refund. I booked directly through the website, as opposed to Airbnb, so the owner has no obligation to honour my request. This is just additional frustration and I guess in the future I will use Airbnb and pay their additional fee so that I have an avenue to make a complaint that will be addressed. One would think that if you're in the business of short term rentals, you would want to ensure the units provide adequate supplies and amenities instead of blindly collecting rent money and doing nothing when feedback/complaints are made. Therefore, based on these issues and the owner's lack of acknowledgement, I am leaving a negative review.

The property manager is a disgrace, I’ve never encountered such a rude and horrible man in all my life.

Property was dated and dirty. Mattresses, pillows and linens well past their best.

We had a great stay. Big comfy bedrooms. And a huge living space for the kitchen, dinning and living room. I highly recommend.

We have been fortunate enough to stay in a few of the Posh Digs rentals and I can honestly say it's one of the best vacation rental places we have ever stayed in!! Always super clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable with all the comforts of home. Super convenient for travelling with family as there are multiple rooms. You could not pick a better location in central Toronto. Absolutely love the Posh Digs, units!!

Let's cut to the chase - the food here was amazing. Even the simplest thing, like the bread sticks, were delicious and something different.

We got the Paccheri Al Ragu Napoletano and Dentice, Vongole Pisseli for dinner and both meals were awesome. But what really blew our minds away was the dessert.
The Ricordo Delizioso was great - perfect amount of sweetness, the lemon mousse was perfectly tart with a hint of mint and the sponge cake complimented everything greatly.
We also got the Baba-Misu which took my breath away completely. The rum cake soaked with freshly brewed espresso was both soft and chewy, but with a little crunch coming from the cocoa crumble and the crust itself. The tiramisu cream with a slightly sour chantilly cream accommodated the slight bitterness from the espresso-rum cake to make this thing unbelievably tasty.

I will definitely be revisiting this place and recommending it to all my friends and acquaintances who like Italian food.

The staff was also very friendly, warm and accommodating. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Came here for Valentine's Day, fixed price menu of five courses. Excellent service, food came out on time and waiters checked on us frequently. Five courses was maybe too much for one person and I look forward to coming back for a la carte menu. Ambiance: Nice for intimate quiet dinner. Comfortable seating.
Food: Not strong flavors compared to other Italian food I've had. But liked the variety of dishes.

A cozy quiet restaurant located in Eglington that suits a casual date or a dinner with friends. The place is not big, it fits a few tables but more than enough to enjoy a pleasant meal.

The menu doesn’t offer a large variety of options, but gives you enough idea to know how this restaurant looks like. The ingredients are fresh and the plates are cooked at the moment, which is always what makes the difference from other restaurants.

I tried the Pepe pizza to start, and the doygh was greatly achieved and tasted very good. It wasn’t oily but juicy at the same time. I missed a pinch of salt but overall I enjoyed it.

I continued with the Paccheri al Ragu, a typical italian dish where you can tell if the chef applies some love on the plate. In this case, the recipe tasted good, but it wasn’t extraordinary. Same happened with the risotto, the recipe was correct and all ingredients were mixed into a single plate. However, something was missing on those two plates.

Ribeye was also on the table and it was actually very tasty and savory. Accompanied with some truffle slices, pesto sauce and a side of potatoes made the whole plate an excellent combination for the taste buds. The Ragu with mashed potato, however, was dry and lacked of flavor. Same thing that happened with the pasta.

As a dessert, I had to try E la Pizza Margherita! A funny presentation where they serve it in a pizza box simulating one slice of pizza. This a very risky dessert, because it is not for everybody. It is not a full sweet dessert, it is salty with tomato. But I have to admit I enjoyed it. The more you tried it, the better it tasted. Congratulations on this approach.

Tu summarize, it is a good restaurant to come and enjoy a casual Italian meal if you don’t come with high expectations. The prices here are average, and nothing is extremely expensive.

Personally, my experience was very positive at Powder Bride! Powder is small but has a very nice selection whether you are looking for something more clean/ classic, or something extravagant.
Adriana the Owner was lovely to work with along with the seamstress I worked with - he was kind and detail oriented. We did have several fittings which you can expect with Powder in the weeks leading up to the wedding to get the fit right. Everything was completed on time for my wedding out of town, I felt me and my guests were treated with a lot of care each visit!

I was reminded today when someone asked me if they should buy their dress from Powder that I had never left a review. Please let this be your warning: this is the very last place on earth you should purchase from. The level of unprofessionalism is beyond belief.

I purchased my dress here, as did my sister. When my sister’s gown finally arrived from Israel, just two weeks before her wedding, it was the wrong dress. Instead of apologizing and taking responsibility, the owner tried to gaslight us, insisting it was the correct one. Luckily, I had photos of my sister in the actual dress (they only allow you to take photos after purchasing) and proved them wrong.

At this point, an apology and a real solution might have salvaged the situation. But what happened next was outrageous. First, they suggested “altering” the wrong gown to make it resemble the original, a $16,000 gown, mind you. When the seamstress admitted it wasn’t possible, they proposed contacting the designer to “rush” the correct top and stitch it onto the wrong dress. Absolutely ridiculous. Still, desperate, we agreed.

When we returned for a fitting, the owner pulled my mother aside privately. We assumed she was finally offering an apology. Instead, my mother came back pale and shaken. The owner had threatened her, saying if we dared to tell anyone or leave a negative review, she would “ruin” our lives by reporting to the CRA that we paid in cash (we actually paid by cheque, written to her personally). Are they aware it is not illegal to pay in cash, but it is illegal to accept it and not report it.

To top it off, she “offered” a veil as compensation. It was cheap, flimsy, and insulting. We left and went to White Bridal, where the staff were everything Powder is not: kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. My sister found the perfect veil there, and they treated her with the care she deserved.

Bottom line: Do NOT, under any circumstances, shop here. Spare yourself the stress, the lies, and the threats. There are far better bridal shops that will respect you, your time, and your money

I can’t say enough good things about Power Flowers! I called them with a last-minute request, and not only did they answer promptly and kindly, but they also went above and beyond to help me and my client. Despite the tight timing, they created the most stunning floral arrangement — truly beautiful and thoughtfully put together.

What impressed me even more was their commitment to service. The owner personally ensured everything was done on time and made sure it was delivered before the end of the day. It’s rare to find that level of dedication and care anymore.

I placed an order ahead of Mother’s Day with a clearly agreed-upon time. When I arrived, they completely denied the agreed time and tried to gaslight me — until I showed them the text message confirming it.

Instead of apologizing, they started making the bouquets after I arrived. One of them looked like a sad bundle of greenery — not a single main flower bloomed— and they insisted it was “appropriate” for $35. It wasn’t. It looked rushed, cheap, and completely unworthy of the occasion. But at that point, I had no other option.

If you’re planning something special or want to avoid stress and disrespect, do not go here.

Buyer beware - this shop is under new management and nowhere near the quality it used to be. I paid $100 for a sad, poorly arranged bouquet with flowers that were not fresh. By the next day, half of them were drooping - for some reason I can't seem to upload the photos, but it was embarrassing to give these as a gift.

You expect quality from an expensive store like this. I love the $800 arrangement, absolutely beautiful. However, when I first got the arrangement there were gaps between the roses so I had asked the florist to re-do the arrangement given its $800. They told me to come back the next day and it was only now that i find out that the florist decided to trick me by placing rose petals between the roses as opposed to adding more roses to fill the bouquet. Very sad to buy something so expensive and get terrible quality. I will never buy from here again.
